By the time all the Pokemon had finished laughing at him due to his outburst, he had a more coherent response. "So let me get this straight, I'm now 16, and you used to be a Trainer Pokemon. The only thing I don't understand is what you mean by Arceus's blessing?"

" I now realize the confusion, young one. The technique that you had the young Eevee use is called Wish. In this videogame you speak of I don't know what it did but in this world when one uses which they are asking Arceus for a blessing. When used the request is presented before Arceus and it decides whether or not to grant the wish requested. That is why your eye is a blessing from Arceus. If the God of Pokemon has allowed you to use the eye then I have no reason to be upset" Medicham explained to Kael.

This was a shock to Kael. He knew that the moves from the game wouldn't be so straightforward in real life but to think that there is such a detailed explanation for it. He then wondered why Arceus would allow him this eye. " Maybe it's an apology for Hoopa taking me from my old world?" He speculated

"That is quite possible. Now I have to inform you, great power is held in that eye. You won't be able to do much with it, but, if you held the gem in the Espeon's forehead you would be able to use the Psychic powers it held before its death." Medicham states solemnly looking towards the Eevee that looked downtrodden.

"That's amazing, but it wouldn't be so easy would it?" He asked rather skeptical that the situation would work out so well for him.

"You would be correct. You would have to train in the psychic energy to use its powers. At the start, you would only be able to understand the weather patterns due to Espeon's natural affinity towards the sun. However, if you grew strong the power you hold would be able to protect you from this dangerous world." Medicham spoke growing quite concerned near the end.

" What do you mean dangerous world?" Kael responded by picking up on Medicham's concern.

"Tell me, young one, what were these games like in your world?" Medicham asked.

"They were kids' games… You started your journey with a starter Pokemon, fought all the gym, maybe took down an evil team, and then became champion. Why, what am I missing?"Kael asked, concerned that he was not going to enjoy what he was about to hear.

"It is as I feared. Young one I will be honest with you. You were lucky you found such nice Pokemon that would bring you to me. The world we are in is a very dangerous and vile place. There are nice Pokemon like myself but the majority aren't. After years of abuse from trainers Pokemon have become vile things, understandably so. Luckily the league placed those new protocols for trainers so the bad ones can't become trainers but the damage is already done. If you were to leave this place, you would likely perish without enough protection." Meidcham informed Kael solemnly

This shocked Kael 'So I'm not in the anime universe or the game universe. This is a completely different reality than I know. I guess the only knowledge that I can rely on is my old knowledge of Pokemon. Hopefully, I do see anything past Galar, even then I'm rather iffy on that.'

After some more conversing Medicham stated "Follow me, I have somewhere I want to bring you."

Walking out of the makeshift tent with Eevee by his side Kael realized that he had underestimated how big this "Sanctuary" was. Walls of turned up stone bordered the camp while in different corners were various housing and nursing homes. As he walked with Medicham he watched as every Pokemon stopped what they were doing and stared at him in wonder and curiosity.

"We are heading towards Lost and found. Anytime a Pokemon finds something of interest it is brought here. It should have some supplies that you can use to make your way towards civilization." Medicham spoke.

" Thank you again for your help with all of this, Arceus must smile upon you!" Kael told Medicham with a grin adorning his face.

"Thank you for such a compliment young one. Here we are, look around and take anything you need" The Medicham responded as you opened up what looked like a warehouse made up of stones.

"Thank you" Kael said as he walked through the door. Looking around Kael found many amazing things that would help him on his journey. First was a travel pack while small there seemed to be some distortional space inside to make it bigger and weigh less. 'This will work nicely!' Kael thought to himself before hefting it over his shoulders. 'What else?' The next thing he found surprised him, searching under a torn up jacket and gloves he found what looked like a phone but when turned on showed in bright words 'POKEDEX' "HOLY SHIT! I FOUND A POKEDEX!" Kael exclaimed, ecstatic to have one so early on. While looking through the device he found that the memory had been wiped so all of the information for the dex was gone. Slipping the new Pokedex into his pocket he kept searching. After about 20 minutes of looking through cool but useless stuff he found what he was waiting for… There hiding behind a Snorlax plushie was 3 pokeballs. Grabbing them felt like a dream come true. Since he was a little kid he had always wanted to have his own pokemon and to hold a pokeball in his hand was magnificent. Jumping up with joy he continued to look around stashing the pokeballs into his other pocket which was now empty due to throwing out his old wallet and phone. "Now let me think I have a backpack, Pokedex, and Pokeballs. What else should I think of… Wait Medicham said I had to keep the Espeon's gem on me so I can train my psychic powers. Maybe if I find some jewelry I could stash it in?" Looking around, he found him holding a thick chain necklace with a pendant that could hold a stone or gem. Funnily enough it looked like mega stone necklace that I saw someone wearing in my old world. Sliding it into his backpack Kael asked Medicham who was still outside the door "Medicham, what do you think is the most important thing I get here?" Taking a few seconds Medicham responded with "Protection, the outside world is rather dangerous so look for something to protect you." Nodding at the idea, Kael began to back track to look for anything. Sadly the only thing he found was a set of throwing knives which while cool weren't what he was thinking of. "Hmmm, nothing here except these" Gesturing to the knives in his hand " I'll keep these but I need a primary weapon. Like a sword, or two. Yeah two swords would look badass!" He exclaimed, before realizing "But there aren't any here. In that case I'll have to make them, but what to make them out of…" Suddenly like a flashbang hitting him in the face he knew what he had to do. Rushing over to the Medicham he quickly said "Quick, did you bring back the Scyther with the Espeon''

Startled by Kael's speedy question, Medicham replied "U-um yes, they are in the morgue to be buried, why?"

Acting bashful Kael responded " Well you said I needed protection and since there weren't any weapons in the Lost and found I thought maybe I could fashion swords out of the Scyther's arms?"

"My my" the Medicham stated " Aren't you a handful, fine I will supply you with the arms and the gem from the Espeon but the crafting of these items shall be up to you to understand?"

"Yes Ma'am" Kael barked with a mock salute

" Now go back to the tree with Eevee and get to know her more. Maybe you could catch her?" Medicham said with a knowing smile

Realizing what she stated, Kael looked down at Eevee before giving a nod and sprinting off towards the tree, Eevee hot on his trail.

Laying with his back against the inside of the tree Kael was petting Eevee's head with one hand while the other looked through his new Pokedex. After putting in his information with what he knew he started to search for what his Pokedex could do. Looking through it he found an application called Scanner. Remembering from the anime how it would tell you about the pokemon it scanned Kael sat up and pointed it toward Eevee

*Bssh*

Eevee the Evolution Pokemon

Eevee's are known far and wide for their unstable genetics allowing them to evolve into eight different species. In the early days Eevee became rather sought after making them become endangered in the wild. Research is being conducted to learn of ways to make breeding in captivity work.

This Eevee is Female with the ability Adaptability with a Naive nature upping speed and lowering

This is Eevee is SHINY giving it a buff in all stats

This Eevee knows the moves : Covet, Helping Hand, Quick Attack, Growl and the Egg move Wish

"Well aren't you special not only do you have an egg move but you have a buff in all your stats!" Kael said while rubbing the head of the Eevee. Hearing all the praise Eevee puffed out her chest and preened in the compliments.

"My next question is would you want to become my pokemon?" Kael said desperation creeping into his tone.

"Eevee?" the Eevee asked confusedly what was being requested.

" You would become my Pokemon. I would catch you in a Pokeball and we would be partners." Looking at the pokeball Eevee contemplates it before hearing a Crash.

*CRASH*
