With a startled yell, Kael found himself surrounded by 3 men and 2 women all holding pokeballs at him. "Who are you!" "What happened to your eye?" "Are you here in peace?"
After a few seconds of silence, Kael decided now was the time to speak. Keeping his hands up he said "Hello, My name is Kael Ventura. I don't know where I am but I woke up in the forest about 2 and a half weeks ago. I've been attacked, saved, and attacked again before hiking all the way till I found you all. Can you tell me where we are and what I should do?"
"Now how do we know you aren't a part of that Team PLasma that's been causing trouble around here." an older man said while looking suspiciously at him.
"Team Plasma, I don't even know what region I'm in. How would I be a part of this Team Plasma?" Kael stated questioningly while looking around the backyard.
With hesitation, the 5 surrounding him slowly dropped their arms down to their sides. The older man who asked him the previous question walked up and put his hand out saying "The names Earl Caldwell, now I think it'd be best if I took you up to the old professor to help you get sorted out, that sounds good?"
Shaking his hand Kael smiled and said " Sir that would be amazing"
And with that, they walked around the side of the house and left for the professor's lab.
Making their way to the lab Mr. Caldwell asks " Now son, I rather not be too nosy but could I inquire as to how you got that eye."
Chuckling Kael calms down before saying " No need to feel bad, after I had first woken up I was searching around the area I woke up in and found this little girl with her mother" pointing towards Sera who was trotting next to Kael "While Sera played with her mother a Scyther came out and went to attack Sera so I jumped in front of the attack losing my eye in the process. I passed out from the pain and when I awoke both Scyther and Espeon were dead in what seemed to be a battlefield. After getting my senses back I had Sera use the move wish on me after implanting one of Espeon's eyes into myself."
"Well I'll be, it seems that Arceus smiles down upon you," Mr. Caldwell said, smiling down at him.
Finally reaching the doors to the lab went up and knocked three times before stepping back and waiting beside Kael.
Walking out of the door was a young woman around 16 in age with straight black hair in a Beanie with a red dress and white scarf, covered by a white lab coat. " Hello Mr. Caldwell, what can I help you with?" she asked in a very polite tone.
"Well, we found this boy in our backyard while cooking some milktank on the grill and he's claiming that he has lost his memories. Knowing Rowan I thought he would be able to help out!" Caldwell said with a laugh, smiling down at the young lady.
"Of course, you can go back to your get-together, I'll take this boy to see Professor Rowan." She said with a polite smile before looking at Kael and ushering him in the door. With a smile, Kael walked in before being hit over the back of the head and seeing black.
Kael wakes up in a seat with his arms tied to the chair he's sitting in. Looking around Kael sees two people in front of him.
One is the young lady from before standing by the door. The other is an older-looking gentleman with spiky gray hair going down the sides of his face and a thick mustache.
Observing that Kael is awake the older gentleman begins to talk to Kael "Before you start to freak out you are currently in a secure building with Pokemon surrounding the premise. The Pokemon that you held on to were brought to the poke center and are being healed as we speak. Now onto our main question who are you?"
Looking around wearily Kael begins talking saying " My name is Kael Ventura. I was from another world before Hoopa brought me to this one. I have a diverse knowledge of Pokemon from my world so that helps."
Hearing this the older gentleman perks up and asks " What do you mean by diverse knowledge?"
" In my world, Pokemon was a digital game that kids and adults played for entertainment. I just so happen to be a pro at this game.
He said
" Ok, who are the three starter pokemon of Sinnoh?"
" The three starter Pokemon of Sinnoh are Turtwig, Piplup, and Chimchar"
"What are the final evolutions of those three Pokemon?"
" Torterra, Empoleon, and Infernape"
Looking a bit more interested he asks " What are all the types of Pokemon"
Taking a second Kael says " Water, Grass, Fire, Bug, Dark, Dragon, Electric, Fighting, Flying, Ghost, Ground, Ice, Normal, Poison, Psychic, Rock, Steel, and Fairy."
Laughing the old man says " You got all of them right but Fairy isn't a type"
Looking confused Kael responds "Yes it is, there are many types of Pokemon that have the fairy typing. Togepi's line, Clefairys line, jigglypuff's line, Ralt's line, The Mawile Line, and many more."
Perplexed, the old man continues " Ok, what are the weaknesses and strengths of this supposed type."
Confused, Kael says " It's super effective against Dark, Fighting, and Dragon. They are weak to Poison and steel and immune to dragon. Is this not common knowledge? It should've been found in the Kalos region."
Suddenly the old man grew very serious. " How do you know about the Kalos region? Information about that place was hidden from the public centuries ago."
" What? I know all the regions. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Paldea."
Fearfully the old man began to search the room for something before looking dead serious at Kael. " I don't know how you got this information but you're under my protection now, you got it?"
"Professor, what's wrong? Why do you look so serious?" the young girl said, looking concerned at the Professor.
"Everything you are about to hear is a secret you have to take to the grave ok?"
The young women and Kael both immediately responded with an affirmative
"When I was first champion I searched through the archives on ancient training techniques to get an edge on the competition so I would stay champion. Ultimately, I found what I was looking for but found something else. It was a map now before I share this information, Kael, were there any more regions you could think of from your knowledge?"
Thinking for a sec Kael responded with " I mean yeah there's the Orre region, the Fiore region, I know there were others but they weren't that significant."
Shaking his head the professor begins with " That map I found was an ancient map showing the whole world centuries ago. This map had all of the
Regions you named before some were destroyed or expanded."
Kael hastily asks, "Do you know of a boy named ash Ketchum, Or Gary Oak?"
" No Ash Ketchum or Gary Oak that I know about but I do know a Blue Oak who is currently the professor of the Kanto region."
Looking horrified Kael asks " How old is Red"
With a face of shock, the Professor takes a few seconds to process the question before saying " Red is currently 36 years old and living on top of ."
"I'm in the future…"
"What do you mean?"
" In the game Red is the main character of the Kanto region that you play as. How about a person named Gold?"
"He was champion of the Johto league for 4 years before Nayu Fenrin dethroned him."
"Man, I don't know anything."
"But you do," The professor says with a smile.
"What do I know?"
"You've helped me discover a whole new Pokemon type and if I pick your brain hard enough, who knows what we can uncover."
" Are you saying a partnership?"
"Exactly, so what do you say," he said holding out his hand.
Shaking his hand Kael began saying " Kael Ventura"
The Professor Responded with " Victor Rowan," both said without knowing that this relationship would flip the world upside down.
"So right now we are in Sandgem town, a secret military base posed as a regular country town. The man that brought you in was an Ace Trainer for 23 years before being honorably discharged."
"So you're saying I was dead if I tried anything"
"Precisely"
Walking into the Pokemon center Kael began to look around admiring the nice, effortless look of everything making the place feel inviting. Walking up to the pink-haired lady Professor Rowan asks " Hello Joy, do you happen to have the two Pokemon my assistant brought in?"
" Of course, I'll grab them right away"
As she ran away the Professor ask's "So mind telling me where you found a Shiny Eevee?"
Laughing Kael responds with " Well after hoopa brought me here I was searching around the area and found Sera with her mother. While watching them I saw a Scyther beelining for Sera so I yelled at them and jumped in front of the attack. After waking up I implanted the Espeons eye into myself and had Sera use Wish on me to heal it. Sera has been following me ever since."
" That's quite a story, do you know if there are any benefits from it?" he asked curiously
" From what a Medicham told me I should be able to grow psychic powers with it and the gem from Espeon. Sadly, it will take me a while."
" Well, that's just something to add to the list," he said before turning towards the nurse who was approaching holding a tray.
" Here you are sir, both are fighting ready!" she said while motioning for the Professor to take them
"Actually, those Pokemon are my friend here, I just had my assistant bring them while we talked." He said jovially
" I'm quite sorry, here you are sir." reaching the tray out for Kael. Grabbing them Kael quickly released both Sera and Starly wanting to see them all better. As soon as Sera got to her surroundings she quickly pounced on Kael licking at his face. "Hey girl, you feeling better?" he asked rubbing her head.
"EEVEE!" she yipped loudly before jumping off her trainer. Looking around Kael found Starly looking at him questioningly.
" Hey Starly, told you I would get you to help," He said with a smile. With a squeak, Starly quickly took off before flying over and landing on Kael's shoulder. Petting under Starly's chin he began saying "You never did get a name did you?" Shaking his head no Starly began to stare at Kael with a fierce intensity he had never seen before. "Ok, Ok. How about Hermes, god of speed?" With a takeoff, Hermes began to speed through the center darting in between shelves and stands before landing right back on Kael's shoulder.
"Ha, I think he likes it!" Professor Rowan stated joyfully. "Now we best be off, need to get you ready for your adventure!" with a stunned look Kael followed the Professor out of the Center Hermes on his shoulder and Sera by his side. What could stop them now?
Chapter 6 is done and dusted.
A little bit longer this time, almost 2k words. I've been having a bit of trouble writing for this story due to a Naruto story I've been thinking about recently. Don't worry though this is my main story and I won't start the Naruto one anytime soon. But it may come out sooner or later.
