Bruno had made it up the stairs and had gone down the hall, searching for Elsa. He then saw one door slightly ajar and sighed. He had a feeling that was where Elsa was. Bruno had gone over to the door and opened it all the way and then he saw Elsa sitting on a large bed, looking down at the ground. Her eyes swirled with a mixture of hurt and anger. Bruno slowly made his way towards Elsa who didn't notice that he was right in front of her.

"Elsa?"

Elsa looked up at Bruno and saw him staring at her in slight concern. Elsa sighed then she had patted to the spot next to her. Bruno had accepted the invitation and sat down beside Elsa and had placed his hand on top of hers.

"Are you alright?"

Elsa let out a mirthless chuckle then she had placed her hand on Bruno's cheek and then frowned and shook her head.

"That's a strange thing to ask someone who feels like they've been betrayed for a second time." Elsa said, dryly.

"But I don't understand. What's so wrong with Anna being engaged? Shouldn't you be happy about this?" Bruno asked.

"I should be happy. I suppose any sister would be at a time like this. But what I can't comprehend is that she's marrying somebody like Prince Hans." Elsa said, a look of disgust now on her face.

"But he's a prince and Anna really seems to like him, isn't that enough?"

"He is indeed a prince and Anna does appear to love him. But...I don't know. There's just...something about him that I don't trust. When I first met him, he just appeared to be the conceited...boastful...type. I've seen other princes like him when I was a kid...always trying to impress me. Maybe I thought he was like all the rest. Didn't really care for Anna, had other hidden motives underneath that happy-go-lucky disposition and handsome face is all." Elsa explained, shrugging.

"Why didn't you tell Anna this before?"

"Because...she did seem...happy and in love. I didn't want to come between them but then Anna's sudden talk of marriage to Hans...I wanted to look after her wellbeing. I thought that's what I was doing." Elsa said, sighing heavily, looking back down.

"Corazon..."

Elsa had gotten off the bed and then she went over to the window. She looked down at Anna pacing and pacing on the castle grounds. Elsa could tell even from a distance that she was also angry judging by her body language. Elsa leaned against the window then she turned back to Bruno.

"Bruno, what kind of a sister would I be if I didn't want was best for her?"

Bruno sighed then he went over to Elsa then he had grabbed onto her hands and squeezed them then he had wrapped his arms around Elsa's waist and she looked up at him.

"Elsa, I know you only want to protect Anna. I know exactly how you feel. I've been down that road myself with both Julieta and Pepa."

"You have?"

"Yes. When they had first met Augustin and Felix, I didn't trust them at first because they were outsiders. New to our community. But...then after seeing how much they did care and love my sisters; I eventually came to accept them."

"But I don't know if I'll ever trust Hans. What if I'm right about him being up to something?"

"How about if we all get together and talk about this? Maybe we can find something out then." Bruno suggested.

"Anna would never agree to that. She'll think I'm meddling again." Elsa pointed out.

"I'm sure she'll agree to it. Maybe I should talk to her about it instead. Maybe she'll listen to me."

Elsa looked out the window at Anna still pacing then she turned back to Bruno then she laid her hands on his chest then she closed her eyes then exhaled then she grabbed onto Bruno's hands then kissed him.

"Alright. We'll give it a try." Elsa finally said, smiling.

Bruno smiled back then he had kissed Elsa's forehead then pecked her on the lips then had pulled her close against him, their noses touching.

"I'll go outside and talk to her right now."

"Good luck." Elsa said, kissing the tip of Bruno's nose.

Bruno had kissed Elsa's cheek then he had left the room while she had sat back on the bed and waited. Bruno had then gone outside of the castle then he saw Anna as she had kept pacing and pacing. Bruno had moved over to her then cleared his throat.

"Anna."

Anna had stopped pacing then she turned to Bruno. She smiled a little, relieved that it was not her sister coming out to lecture her. Anna had then gone over to Bruno.

"Hi Bruno."

"Hi. I uh I've been uh talking to Elsa about this. How you're engaged to this Hans." Bruno began.

"Bruno..."

"...Please let me finish. Elsa does feel horrible about the way she acted towards you a few minutes ago and...she just wants to talk to you and Hans before she says anything else about it."

"She sure said enough the last time and now it looks like she wasn't done yet." Anna scoffed, crossing her arms.

"Anna...I heard from Elsa that she was shut away from you those years ago. Do not shut her out too at least not without letting her explain everything before you take this big leap, okay?"

Anna had looked up at the window at Elsa staring down at her in concern but then she quickly moved away from the window then Anna sighed in defeat then she turned to Bruno and nodded.

"Okay. I lost her once and I don't want to lose her again. I'll give her another chance. But only one."

"Only one is all she asks." Bruno replied.

Bruno touched Anna's shoulder then he headed back towards the castle. All that was going through his head was how this meeting was going to go and if it did go right, would it really break the bond between Elsa and her sister a second time? And if it went wrong, what was going to happen?

Later that night, Elsa was in her bedroom, she was waiting for Bruno to come and fetch her. She wanted Bruno to try to dress formally for their conversation with Hans and Anna. She was nervous about how Hans was going to react to someone like Bruno being in Arendelle. After waiting a few more minutes, Elsa heard a knock on her door.

"Elsa?"

"Come in, Bruno." Elsa called out.

Bruno had slowly opened the door and when Elsa saw him, she was in awe. Standing before her was Bruno now wearing long black and brown pants, shiny black boots, a green-gold colored vest and a mahogany-colored coat with green trimmed at the edge of the sleeves and his normally curled hair was straightened out...somewhat.

Bruno was also memorized by the way Elsa looked. She was wearing a light blue ball gown and her hair that was normally done in a braid was down and tumbled down her shoulders.

"Bruno...You look...so...different. But...a good different."

"And you...mi vida...you look even more beautiful...I mean, if that's possible." Bruno said, chuckling.

Elsa also chuckled. Both of them blushing. Then Bruno had walked over to Elsa then he rubbed the back of his neck.

"So...Do I look 'different' enough to impress that Prince Hans?" Bruno asked, nervously.

"Well...we'll just wait and see. But for now, I think you also look very...regal."

"Oh...I wanted to give you something I found in the castle garden."

Bruno had then held out a red rose to Elsa. Elsa gasped softly then she giggled then had taken the rose then kissed Bruno's cheek.

"It's lovely. Thank you."

Bruno had gently stuck the rose into Elsa's hair then had grabbed her hands then had kissed her lips and forehead then caressed her cheek.

"Una rosa para mi rosa. A rose for my rose." Bruno whispered.

Elsa smiled lovingly at Bruno then had kissed him then they could hear the sound of carriage wheels. They had gone over to the window then had seen Hans' carriage arriving at the entryway. Then the couple had turned to each other.

"I hope this does go well." Elsa said, frowning.

"You know no matter what happens between you and Anna, I'll be on your side through this." Bruno assured.

Elsa nodded then she had kissed Bruno. Bruno had pressed their foreheads together for a minute then he cleared his throat then had offered his arm.

"Shall we go greet Prince Hans, Your Majesty?"

"We shall do that, sir." Elsa giggled, curtseying.

Elsa had taken Bruno's arm then they had left the room. Both of them wondering how tonight was going to turn out. Elsa thinking that hopefully Anna would come to her senses and everything would be the same and Bruno wondering if Anna was possibly right about Hans really having good intentions or if he did care and love her. Bruno hoped that Elsa was wrong...for her sake. Because if Hans did really have another motive for marrying Anna like she suspected...could Elsa and her kingdom also possibly be in danger? Bruno was now beginning to fear the worst.
