Elsa and Bruno had been married for a whole month and their life together was just as they dreamed it would be. They'd never thought they'd be this content with one another. Fall had soon turned into winter. One morning, the two were sleeping in their bed, Elsa had opened her eyes and turned and saw Bruno still asleep. Elsa sat up and then leaned over and kissed Bruno's cheek. Bruno opened his eyes and saw Elsa staring at him.

"Good morning, husband." Elsa greeted.

"Buenos dias, carino." Bruno greeted back.

Bruno had stroked Elsa's cheek then had kissed her. Elsa giggled then had kissed Bruno's cheek again. When she moved to sit up, she had suddenly let out a small moan and shut her eyes then placed her hand against her forehead, exhaling. Bruno immediately sat up beside Elsa and looked at her in concern.

"Elsa, what is it?" Bruno asked.

"N-Nothing. It's just a slight headache. This usually happens whenever fall ends."

"Are you sure that's the problem, mi amor?" Bruno asked, worriedly.

"It's only a twinge, sweetie, I'm okay." Elsa said, waving Bruno off.

"As long as you're certain..."

"Trust me, Bruno. I'm fine."

Elsa kissed Bruno and then his cheek and then had gotten out of bed followed by Bruno. Today, Bruno was to go ice harvesting with Kristoff. He always wanted to try it and Kristoff was glad to teach him. After eating breakfast, both Bruno and Kristoff were off while Anna and Elsa stayed behind to spend time together.

Inside of the parlor, Anna was reading a book while lying on the settee. She turned to Elsa who was sitting in a chair by the fire also reading...or trying to. Every time she turned a page, she stopped to either moan or rub her forehead. Curious, Anna had stood up and went over to Elsa.

"Elsa?"

Elsa looked up from her book. Anna noticed that Elsa looked pale and nearly disoriented. She looked sick. Elsa let out a sigh then after feeling her head for about the fifth time, focused back on her younger sister.

"Yes, Anna?"

"Elsa, I can't help but notice that you...you don't look like yourself."

"To tell you the truth Anna, I don't feel like myself." Elsa said, tiredly.

"Do you need to see the physician?" Anna asked, concern now evident in her tone.

"I guess that would be the best idea. I'm pretty sure it's only a couple of migraines, nothing more."

"Well, let's let the doctor be the judge of that." Anna said, offering her hand out to Elsa.

Elsa accepted Anna's hand and she helped her to stand up. After sending Elsa in her room to rest, Anna had fetched the physician. An hour later, Anna found herself pacing and pacing down the hall, wondering what was taking so long. It didn't even take this long for Elsa's wound to be mended when Hans stabbed her. Something had to be wrong. After another long minute of waiting, the door had opened and Anna turned to see the doctor stepping out of the room. Anna had went over to him.

"Well...What's going on with her, doctor?"

"Her Majesty would like to tell you."

Anna nodded then she had gone into the bedroom closing the door behind her. She saw Elsa sitting up in bed, now looking more alert, her skin color nearly back to normal. Anna sighed in relief then she went over to the bed.

"Elsa."

"Think it's best if you sit down for this."

Anna frowned again but then did as Elsa told her and she sat on the bed then Elsa looked back up at her. She sighed heavily then had smiled a little.

"The doctor had just told me that...well, I'm pregnant." Elsa finally said.

Anna almost let out a scream but quickly stopped herself then she grabbed onto Elsa's hands, grinning from ear to ear.

"Elsa, I can't believe it! This is so great! You're gonna be a mother, Bruno's gonna be a father, I'm gonna be an aunt!"

"Yeah. I...I can't believe it, either." Elsa said, trying to sound enthusiastic, completely failing.

"Elsa, what's wrong?"

Elsa sighed then she looked over at the portrait of her and Anna and their parents against the wall then the one next to it that consisted of her and Bruno's wedding then she turned back to face Anna.

"Anna. I am happy me and Bruno are having a child, I really am, but we all have to think that there's a chance that this baby will probably have my powers or even Bruno's." Elsa pointed out.

"What's so bad if the baby does have magic? It just means it's special like you and Bruno are."

"Anna, think of what me and Bruno had to go through during the past years of our lives. I was shut away from the world when I was only a little girl cause our parents had feared what my powers could do to you, to our kingdom. Bruno was shunned by his family and his community because of his visions. Who's to say our child won't be subjected to that?" Elsa argued.

"Because the baby will have you two as parents. As long as the baby is loved and protected, it will know you and Bruno would never let anything bad happen to it." Anna said, touching Elsa's shoulder.

"I...I guess you're right." Elsa said, beginning to smile.

"And there's also a chance that this baby won't have magic like you guys. It could be like me, like its grandparents. But all that matters in the end is that you and Bruno's wish is coming true. Elsa, you're going to have a baby."

Elsa looked down at her small stomach where her child would soon grow. This small being she and Bruno created from their love was counting on them to be there for it. She could not let her child down. She would not be like her parents once were, she would not be like Alma. The baby would be loved. Elsa slowly placed her hand against her stomach then smiled fully.

"I'm...I'm going to have a baby." Elsa repeated, voice cracking from emotion.

"You sure are!" Anna chimed in, laughing.

Elsa and Anna had hugged as Elsa also laughed. Elsa did not know why she was so worried at first. She had so many people on her side to help her get through this and Bruno was going to be thrilled. Their very own child.

Sometime later, Bruno and Kristoff had returned to the castle. Anna and Elsa had gone down the stairs to greet them. While Anna hugged Kristoff and gave him a kiss on the cheek, Elsa went over to Bruno and kissed him.

"I'm sorry if we were a little late, querida." Bruno apologized.

"Oh, it's alright. There's um...something I wanna tell you inside of the parlor."

"Alright. Let's go."

Elsa had grabbed onto Bruno's arm and they began walking to the parlor, Elsa looked back over at Anna who gave her a thumbs up much to Kristoff's confusion.

The two had moved inside the parlor then Elsa led Bruno by the hand over to the fireplace then she pointed to the mantel where there were various small portraits of her and Anna as babies. Bruno pointed to one of Elsa inside of her cradle then turned to her.

"Was this you, mi amor?"

"Yep. That was me."

Elsa had taken the small portrait off of the mantel and showed it to Bruno then pointed to it, leaning close to her husband while he had his arm around her waist.

"This cradle was actually once used for my father when he was a baby. He once told me and Anna when we were little that whenever we had children of our own, that cradle would be passed onto us to have for our babies." Elsa explained.

"It's very beautiful."

"Mmm-hmm."

Elsa had put the portrait back onto the mantel then she grabbed onto Bruno's hand as they stared at each other lovingly then Elsa guided Bruno's hands down to her stomach. Bruno looked up at his wife in confusion.

"How about you and I go look for it in the attic some time since we will be needing it...for our child when it arrives."

Bruno now looked surprised then he looked down at his hands still against Elsa's stomach then up at her. Bruno smiled as he looked hopeful.

"Mi vida, are you saying..."

Elsa nodded then Bruno had pulled her into a passionate and long kiss, Elsa chuckled as Bruno lifted her off her feet and twirled her around. He had set her down then had gently placed his hands against Elsa's face as tears welled in both their eyes.

"We're going to have a child, mi querida. A baby." Bruno said, quietly, voice breaking.

Bruno had knelt down then had placed his hands back onto Elsa's stomach then had pressed close to it while Elsa looked down and smiled lovingly at him.

"Hello mi pequeno. There are so many things I want to tell you but I don't know where to begin. I think the first that you should know is that your M'ma and I love you and promise to let not anything harm you. You are our miracle. Our precious child." Bruno whispered to Elsa's stomach.

Bruno had then gently kissed Elsa's stomach then had gently pressed his forehead to it while Elsa stroked his hair. While she did still have that hint of fear deep down of their child having their magic, Elsa knew Anna was right. This child was always going to be safe with them. As Bruno said, their miracle. Their child.
