Days and some months had passed since Elsa and Bruno had found out they were expecting a child. Currently, Elsa was about 7 months along and her belly was swelling out beautifully. Elsa did not care how she looked now, she knew it only meant that her and Bruno's child was growing and nearly ready to arrive.

One fine sunny afternoon in the kingdom, while Anna and Kristoff had gone off to take a walk together, Elsa and Bruno were spending it inside of the parlor. Elsa was sitting in a chair while Bruno was knelt down in front of her, gently caressing her belly, the two of them focusing on their unborn child. The only sound that could be heard was the flames crackling in the fireplace.

"What do you suppose it will be?" Bruno asked in a soft tone.

"I don't really know. It's a little hard to tell." Elsa said, shrugging.

"If only I still had my Gift, we'd be able to know then." Bruno joked.

"I think what's really important is hoping that the baby will be born healthy."

Bruno smiled warmly then nodded then he had gently laid his head against Elsa's belly. Bruno then felt a slight flutter against his cheek. Elsa felt it too then chuckled then looked at Bruno at her belly.

"I know a certain someone who likes their Daddy already." Elsa said in a quiet singsong voice.

Bruno also chuckled then he had kissed Elsa's belly then laid his head back against it, gently rubbing it. Bruno looked up at Elsa while he continued to stroke her belly.

"Are you still worried about the possibility that our child will have magic?" Bruno asked.

"Am I being that obvious?" Elsa said, sighing heavily.

Bruno sighed then he had stood up and placed both his hands against Elsa's face, blue orbs gazing into brown-green. Bruno caressed Elsa's cheek with his thumb.

"Our child won't go through what we went through, mi vida. We won't let that happen. It will always be our miracle. They won't endure being an outcast or being locked away in their room. We will not let other people judge our child. We will protect it." Bruno assured.

Elsa looked down at her belly between them then she had looked back up at Bruno and smiled then had kissed him. When they pulled apart, Elsa touched Bruno's cheek then nodded.

"You're right."

They had shared another kiss then they heard a knock on the doors. They turned to see the doors opening and a guard stepping in, holding an envelope in his hand. Elsa and Bruno looked at each other confusingly for a moment then Bruno had helped Elsa stand up then they had gone over where the guard was standing.

"Yes?" Elsa asked.

The guard bowed to Elsa and Bruno then had handed Elsa a letter. Elsa and Bruno looked at the envelope then back over at the guard.

"What's this?" Bruno then asked.

"I was only told by the other guards to give this to you and The Queen, sire." The guard replied, shrugging.

"Thank you." Elsa and Bruno both replied.

The guard had bowed again then had left the parlor. Elsa tore the envelope open then had read the note inside. It appeared to be a letter. As Elsa continued reading it, her smile faltered and formed into a frown. Bruno put his arm around Elsa, staring at her in concern.

"Corazon, what's wrong?"

Elsa didn't respond. She kept frowning then had handed the letter over to Bruno. Bruno looked over the letter then his eyes widened in surprise then he turned to Elsa.

"It's from Mirabel. She wants us to visit."

"Yeah."

Bruno looked at the letter. He didn't know what to feel. He would've loved to see his sobrinas and sobrinos and his hermanas again, he wanted to do that more than anything but then he remembered his M'ma, the way she treated Elsa before. When she saw her as a threat to the family, when she argued with her, when she...

Bruno gripped the letter then he had gone over to the fireplace and threw it into the fire, much to Elsa's shock. As Bruno watched the letter burn, Elsa joined his side then grabbed onto his arm. Bruno turned to Elsa then back to the fireplace.

"I didn't want to burn it but then thoughts of my M'ma came along and flashes of the way she judged you. When she struck you. Saw you as a monster. I...I just felt so angry right then." Bruno said.

"You also thought about the rest of the family." Elsa added, sadly.

Bruno gave a little nod as tears formed in his eyes. Elsa sighed then watched as the letter had dissolved into ashes then she turned to Bruno and laid a hand on his chest then touched his cheek so that he'd face her.

"I think we should go."

"What?" Bruno asked, surprised.

"I know what Alma had done was unforgivable and I still resent her as much as you do but think of how much everyone else is missing us. And the fact that we are having a child, they'd be glad to know about that."

"The fact that we're having a child is what concerns me most about returning there, querida."

Bruno and Elsa faced each other then Bruno had grabbed onto Elsa's hands as they gazed at each other, Elsa could also see the hurt in his eyes due to the glow from the fire.

"There's nothing I'd rather do than tell my family we will have another addition and to also be with them, us, together and never leaving each other again. My head is saying we should go along and do it but my heart's just filled with so much hate for my M'ma. I don't want history to repeat itself. She could harm you and something could happen to both you and the baby." Bruno said, worriedly.

"So, I guess no matter what I say, we will not be going."

Elsa gave a small scowl at Bruno then she had gone back over to the chair and sat down. Bruno looked at her then he had gone over to the chair then had knelt down in front of her like he'd done before.

"Elsa. Mi amor." Bruno whispered.

Elsa turned and looked down at Bruno then he had cupped her belly with both his hands then he looked up at Elsa and shook his head.

"I just want to protect the two people I love most in this world, you and I both know that. I love my family more than anything but I need to think about you and the baby first."

Elsa smiled a little at Bruno then she had placed both her hands against his face then she kissed his forehead then stroked his hair.

"Then do this for me. For me and the baby. You will still make sure we're safe and the rest of the family has a right to be involved in this as much as we do."

Bruno sighed then he had begun gently rubbing Elsa's belly with his hand then he looked up at her.

"It will be a rough journey though, carino and you shouldn't be traveling. You're delicate at this point." Bruno pointed out.

Elsa began considering this then she sighed then she placed Bruno's hand where the baby was being active then she tilted up his chin and then touched his cheek.

"I'll be careful. You'll make sure of that. And I can tell you miss the family and want to be with them, don't deny it anymore."

Bruno stared at Elsa then looked down at her belly then finally smiled a little then he had gently kissed Elsa's belly then looked up at her and nodded.

"Alright. We'll go. But we won't stay for long."

"Just long enough to spend time with the family. We will hardly get close to your M'ma."

"I hope that's the case." Bruno said, more to himself than to Elsa.
