ESKK: Hey there readers it's time to begin chapter 5 of this Harry Potter High School DXD fanfiction. Please enjoy reading.
(Start Kingscross Station)
Harry was seen with Hermione heading to the train station with a group from the Order escorting him. As much as Harry disliked this, he figured it would be a good call less he risks another incident with a Fallen Angel. As they walked Harry did not see Daphne or Luna nearby making him suspect they were already on the train. For the entirety of their stay at Grimmauld Hermione had educated him on the dos and don't of Devils. Harry now had a severe weakness to light and holy based attacks which was a good thing Harry didn't get skewered by the Fallen Angel. Secondly Harry's senses were much stronger at night allowing for him what equated to night vision.
When it came to Devil Society Hermione commented that they allow for polygamy and had done so even before the Great War. In fact, in this modern age Devils really need to get as many children born as possible due to how much of their numbers had been lost. It was the very reason they even had the Evil Piece system because with so few of them left bolstering their numbers was a must. This also led to a sad fact about them and that was the fact that due to such a low birthrate most children in Devil Society were either homeschooled or had their schooling int he mortal world.
Typical of Hermione she had voiced her disappointment for that and had wanted to open schools in the Underworld one that would accept Devils from all walks of life. Reincarnated, naturally born, and even mixed blood. But despite being of the Bael family she was still Cambion a mutt and thus no one would take her word seriously. It was another reason Hermione had been building a peerage, if she can build a peerage that can win the Rating Games then people would HAVE to listen to what she had to say. She was basically working to earn her place in society and in a way, Harry respected her for it. Despite the fact that Harry was reincarnated against his will he understood why she did it. Harry was in no state to give consent and Hermione... she didn't want to lose her very first friend.
This had also made Harry wonder why Hermione had recruited the others and told them everything but kept quiet to him. He suspected the stories they gave were note entirely truthful but did not seek to push it. He did ask Hermione once, but she got sad and said it was not her place to reveal why they accepted becoming Devils. This suggested that the girls had some emotional baggage behind their decisions and Hermione respected their privacy for that.
Harry was soon drawn from his thoughts when he felt a familiar presence grace on his leg. Looking down Harry was wide eyed as he recognized the K9 form of Sirius Black AKA Padfoot. "Padfoot what are you doing here?!" Harry asked quietly as he was surprised to see Sirius out and about like this.
Moody saw him as well as he glared at the Animagus. "Sirius you're going to blow the operation." Moody said and in turn Sirius began to make his way to a nearby waiting room. Harry followed after him as he wanted to see Sirius before he departed for Hogwarts.
Upon entering what looked to be a waiting room Harry saw Sirius had already returned to his human form. "Sirius what are you doing here, if the Ministry catches you here, they'll send you back to Azkaban or worse." Harry said as he knew despite the upheaval at the Ministry Sirius was still a wanted man.
"I just wanted to see you off prongslet." Sirius said as he hugged Harry. "Besides what's life without a little risk?" Sirius asked showing he was willing to take risks for Harry's sake.
Harry was thankful for that, yet it did not alleviate the worry he felt for him. After all it only took one bad decision to see Sirius back in Azkaban or kissed and Harry can speak from experience that death is not all fun and games. Harry knew that his second lease on life did not mean he had infinite respawns, if he dies again that's it, game over.
"Anyway, I wanted to give you this." Sirius said as he gave to Harry a photo which the boy took.
"What is this?" Harry asked seeing on the photo several people some of whom he instantly recognized.
"The Original Order of the Phoenix." Sirius announced as Harry saw the familiar face among them. He saw Hagrid, Dumbledore, Sirius, Remus, Pettigrew, the Weasleys, and a few other faces he didn't know. But most of all he saw his parents as part of the group as well which brought a smile to his face that grew sad knowing that with a longer life span it will take longer for Harry to see them again.
"Marlene Mackinnon, she was killed two weeks after this was taken," Sirius said as he pointed out a woman in the photo as Harry is sadden to hear such a thing, as people lives are so killed very easily, their life forever lost while he remains and changed from it too as he was lucky to be given a 2nd chance not everyone would as Sirius went on saying, "Voldemort wipe out her entire family, Frank and Alice Longbottom."
"Neville's parents," Harry said as he knew the last name well enough as Neville hardly talked about his family other than his grandmother as Sirius said to him, "They suffered a fate worse than death if you ask me... it's been 14 years. And still a day doesn't go by I'd miss your dad."
"Do you think there's going to be a war Sirius?" Harry asked his godfather as he nodded to him and said, "IT feels like it did before, but in a way, I feel something else is different as well, that we may have a chance this time around."
Harry didn't know what Sirius meant but he could be sensing the different is with harry but he doesn't know he is a devil as Harry try to hand the photo back only for Sirius held up his hand towards harry as he said, "You keep it. Anyways, I suppose you're the young ones now.
Harry nodded as he put away the photo and soon ask, "Sirius, I do wonder something, every sense Voldemort had come back… why hasn't he attack yet?"
"Well other than trying to build up his army again and no doubt keep out of site as Fudge is still trying to smear yours and Dumbledore's names, trying to make you both lose support from everyone in the magical world," Sirius said unaware of what is going to happen to the minister as he went on saying, "I believe the dark lord is looking for something, I don't know what, but Dumbledore may know what, but ever sense the… incident with your uncle it's hard to trust that man right now as he never gave a straight answer or none at all."
"I know, sometime I still wonder why he put me there when he said the love of my family will protect me… it felt like I never really been loved by them," Harry said as Sirius nodded as he said, "Don't worry Harry, you will be staying in my home for now on, and once this war is over and somehow get my name cleared, I will be with you for then on out."
"Thank you, Sirius," Harry said as the godfather and godson hug each other before the window on the outside of the room they were in was being knocked on as Moody said to them, "Hurry up, it's almost time for Harry to leave."
"Right, let get you on that train," Sirius said as Harry nodded with Sirius turn into his dog form once again as he and Harry exit the room quickly and came up to the pillar between platform 9 and 10 with harry going through with no problem.

As Harry arrived, he smiled to the familiarity before him as he saw all the witch and wizard kids getting ready to leave on the train as Harry went off following his friends until Harry stop suddenly as he felt a strange present… a strong present that he never felt before.
This feeling Harry felt was different from the time he saw Voldemort for the first time when he came back with a new body and the evil powers he held. Harry was also reminded of the time he met that fallen angel that carried holy energy that his devil side felt. But this present was different from those two this was something very new and something very dangerous.
"Be careful partner, I feel it too. I feel his present, he is here," Ddraig said as Harry soon ask, "Who's here?"
"The white one," Ddraig said as Harry looks around for the white dragon user as he looked but didn't see anyone… until he saw a person in front of him, just standing there, looking directly at him, with a smile on his face as if he was happy to see harry.
Harry didn't know what to make of this but when the guy soon left, vanishing out of site as soon as a group of student walk by. The mysterious young man went out of Harry's view for a bit but when the students were gone so was the guy. In response Harry looked around to see where he went, until he felt the presence standing right behind him. Harry froze in fear as the unknown young man spoke to him, "So you're the boy who lives… and the current Red Dragon Emperor interesting most interesting. It seems that the old man didn't lie when he said you were strong Harry Potter, but I suppose he is blind to the power you hold and what you have become."
Put a hand on Harry's shoulder as he came up and whisper in his ear, "I won't fight you, not yet anyways, as I sense you're not quite as powerful yet… still new maybe still adjusting to your new body and just awaken your hidden power… so I will give you time to prepare, so that way I can enjoy our battle together, so best be prepare for when I kill you, it better be worth it."
After that, the guy lifted his hand off of Harry and vanish back into the crowd as his unnerving presence had vanish. After that Harry turn around to see where the guy went but he was long gone, as Hermione came up to harry and ask, "Harry… what's wrong?"
"I felt… something dangerous," Harry said as Hermione didn't understand as she didn't feel a thing but whatever harry had felt, it scared him greatly.
(Later)
Harry and Hermione had taken an empty cabin far from Ron at the moment, as somehow Hermione used her devil magic to a minor degree doing like a Jedi mind trick as she had the twins and Ginny bunk up with Ron, make them think they had to stick together while on the train as well and loaded them with money so they can order anything they want off the trolley so she and Harry can be alone for the time being as Hermione ask, "So your saying that the white dragon emperor user is also on this train?"
Harry nodded to her as he said, "Yes, and somehow he knew who I was and what I am, I don't know how or why but he somehow knows I'm not human anymore."
"Then a good chance he maybe a devil as well, but until I meet him myself I don't know what to tell you Harry, other than to stay away from him the best you can," Hermione said as that the best advice she can give as harry knew that already as Harry said, "I'll try but I think he'll just follow me until I am strong enough to face him."
"He may be following the desire of the white dragon as no matter what, you and him will be drawn towards each other one way or other, that is the fate of the twin heavenly dragons," Hermione said as Harry soon ask, "But why is he following the other dragon desire, what make the white one and Ddriag so hated toward each other that make their own wielders fight each other?"
Suddenly Harry's hand glow as Ddriag started to speak out-loud as he said, "I'm afraid the knowledge of that is lost to the sands of time, we have been hating each other so much we have forgotten the reason for it, but the hatred for each other never gone away, thus the fate of you an him are tied together because Albion and I are within both of you."
"Great, as if Voldemort weren't bad enough, I have a battle maniac after me too," Harry said as Hermione soon said to him, "Don't worry Harry, even if we're at school I'll train you to get stronger, it may be tricky, but I believe we can do it."
Suddenly there was a knock on the cabin door as Harry and Hermione turn as the door open showing to be Luna and Daphne together as Hermione said, "Good timing you two, we need to talk."
"Why what's wrong now?" Daphne said as she knew there is always something up with Hermione as if it's not one thing it's another as they take a seat across from the two as Hermione was about to say something until Luna beat her to it as she said, "The white one is here already, isn't he?"
Hermione sighed as she said to the seer girl, "Yes he is already found harry so we need to be on guard."
"Don't tell me he challenged Potter to fight him?" Daphne said as Hermione shake her head and said, "Lucky no he didn't, but it clear he's targeting Harry and already know his status as a devil, so we need to keep a close eye out to find him and see why he is here."
"What was he like Harry, the one who holding the white one?" Luna asked him as Harry said, "He's powerful that's for sure, and he didn't show me his scared gear, just his present alone was almost terrifying."
"Then it's best to assume he may be formidable on his own, if he used his gear, it may take all of us to push him back," Hermione said as Harry soon ask, "How powerful is his scared gear, I mean what is it and what does it do?"
"They are the Divine Dividing, to the name itself, it divides his enemies' powers by half and take it for himself, as for what they are," Hermione said until Luna spoken up saying, "They are a pair of beautiful white and sky-blue wings. They are quite lovely when flying around on them."
"Yeah, and thankfully he can only use this power every ten second if he ever touches you to use this power, and thankfully I think it can only be used on one person at a time," Hermione said as Daphne said, "So if he starts anything, it's better we hit first and avoid his touch."
"Precisely," Hermione said as suddenly before anyone could say anything else, the door to the cabin open up as stand there was 'Tonks' as she said to them, "Wotcher there you lot, and finally found ya Hermione."
"Do you need something Tonks?" Hermione ask as she wonder why Tonks was there as the pink hair woman said, "Just came to get ya, you got your round to make as Perfect."
"Oh right, I almost forgot that?" Hermione said as she was annoyed by this as it seemed she was made perfect as well when she didn't ask to me so long as Ron was the male Prefect for Gryffindor. No doubt Ron had something to do with it, if he did, she'll resign and explain to the head of house she didn't want to become "Perfect" and let someone else be it instead, as she stood up and said, "I'll try to be back soon as I can, don't know when that would be."
"Good luck Hermione," Harry said as she nodded and went off to do her rounds as Perfect as Tonks looks at them and said, "Don't worry loves, I'll join you later to keep you company, and keep an eye on ya. After all we can't just leave a handsome young man with a bunch of ladies to do who knows what now, can we?"
Giving a wink to Harry, and a sexy flirty wink at that, as Harry blush to that as Tonks left soon after with Hermione as she give a nod to Harry as well, but he didn't know what to make of it as was she giving a sort of approval or something else as after that harry was left alone with the two girls as Daphne said, "Well Potter, not even at Hogwarts yet, and already have girls falling for you, you naught boy."
"I… I didn't do anything," Harry said as Luna said to him, "You don't have to worry so much Harry, many girls had had their attention on you before. But as both a Devil and the current generations Red Dragon Emperor now more would be drawn to you because of your Aura."
Harry Sighed to this as he thought to himself, 'Just another think I have to worry about.' As Harry sit back in his seat as he turned to the girls and had a think that ran through his head as he soon said, "If you girls don't mind me asking… why did you two become devils yourselves?"
"Why do you ask?" Daphne asked her eyes showing suspicion on Harry's question.
"Just curious I suppose seeing as she told you first and foremost." Harry admitted as he was somewhat curious as to why Daphne the Ice Queen of Slytherin would want to become a Devil.
"You know the story." Daphne began as she leaned back on her seat a bit. "You got a new broom, Hermione was worried about it being a trap, she told a teacher, and then the fallout between you, her, and Weasley." Daphne spoke with a calm tone in her voice. "She was upset obviously, and I just happened to be there, so I asked what was wrong." Daphne said with a calm tone of voice. "Originally, we were academic rivals, and we sort of just clicked for a bit." Daphne explained as she was detailing the time between the silence treatment between the Golden Trio where Daphne and Hermione became friends.
"One evening I overheard her talking to someone and I heard her talking about Sacred Gears and things happening." Daphne said as she looked over to the window. "Then, well in a very un-Slytherin like manner I tripped." Daphne admitted as she was embarrassed about all of that. "I ended up meeting Hermione's biological father and learning about my own Sacred Gear, Sword Birth." Daphne said as she then sighed a bit. "I also found out that they were Devils or in Hermione's case a Cambion, but I was more focused on the Sacred Gear aspect." Daphne spoke as she then sighed and directed her attention to Harry. "See my family suffers from a hereditary blood curse that slowly kills us off and at the moment my younger sister, Astoria, has it." Daphne said to which Harry started to see where this was going.
"I learned of two possible cures for her, another Sacred Gear called Twilight Healing that allows the user to heal others of almost any ailment." Daphne said listing off the two healing methods for her younger sister. "The other is to reincarnate her as a Devil and have the Devils own natural biology do the work instead." Daphne said and thus Harry saw what Daphne was aiming for.
"You're trying to find this Sacred Gear or a similar one or become a high-class Devil for your younger sister." Harry said as he realized exactly what Daphne hoped to achieve.
"Exactly, with either or my sister can live a full life fall in love and grow old." Daphne said as she made her desire clear. "But unfortunately finding such a Sacred Gear user was hard enough with my own family's resources alone, it could take me a whole lifetime to find it so I covered my assets and agreed to become Hermione's knight so that way if I can't find that Sacred Gear, I can at least recruit Astoria into my own peerage when I get one." Daphne said as Harry could somewhat understand why Daphne did what she did. She made a sacrifice for someone she cared for, and he could respect that for he would do the same.
"What about you?" Harry asked as he looked to Luna curious as to why she chose to become a Devil.
Luna smiled to Harry and in turn gave the most basic answer she could give. "Because it sounded fun." Luna said causing Harry to look at her like she was not right in the head.
"Well, she seems to be the interesting sort." Ddraig said as it was not every day that he met someone like Luna. Needless to say, Harry was slightly worried over what possibly made-up Luna's mind.
(Scene Break Hogwarts Great Hall)
The rest of the trio was relatively uneventful save for one minor bit where Harry encountered the Thestrals. Ron could not see them, but Hermione could and while feigning ignorance she explained to Harry what a Thestral was in private. From what Harry could understand they were docile yet carnivorous creatures who can only be seen by those who had witnessed a death. Hermione admitted that even if she had not seen Harry die, she still would have seen the Thestrals. The magic that kept the Thestrals hidden do not affect Devils seeing as they are said to embody all the evil in the world or some tripe like that.
The students were now all gathered in the Great Hall for the opening feast with all the students in their respective houses. All of the first years had been sorted and thus came time for the announcements and then the feast. Or at least that was what everyone thought at first as Dumbledore stood up.
"Now before we begin our announcements for the year, we have one more sorting to take care of." Dumbledore said as Harry felt he was not going to like how this turned out. "We have one new student who will be joining us this year for his 5th year." Dumbledore announced as this got everyone's attention. "Please help me in welcoming you Gemini Lestrange into our school." Dumbledore said and thus the doors opened and the boy, Gemini walked in as Harry was wide eyed over who he saw. This was the same boy from the station as he made his way to the front of the great hall.
Needless to say, that reactions varied especially with his surname. For Harry he was shocked that the Death Eaters may in fact become an even greater threat with the White Dragon Emperor assuming he sided with them. Ron was horrified to learn that Bellatrix Lestrange of all people had a child. Finally, one Draco Malfoy was shocked to learn that he had a cousin assuming that this boy was in fact Bellatrix son and not her nephew on her husband's side via his brother.
Gemini took a seat and then had the hat placed on him for his sorting. "Hmm now this is quiet the straightforward mine power for the sake of power." The Hat began to speak into Gemini's mind as he was calm about this. "Most curious and this Generations White Dragon Emperor but yet there is more." The Hat spoke as he read through Gemini's mind. "But this is concerning you know where you came from yet care little for it a mix breed in all known circles of blood purity." It spoke as Gemini began to grow impatient with the sorting hat.
"Can you just get on with it?" Gemini demanded more then asked as his patience was not a luxury he gives very often.
"Impatient aren't we very well." The Hat spoke as he began to peer in deeper. "Hmm it takes a great deal of ambition to reach the goal you seek but for you its only about strength and power a form of self-improvement some would argue." The Hat began considering the first house he would be bound to by blood alone. "But no, your ambition may be great but it's the ambition of a brute some would say so the house of Slytherin would not be home for you." The Hat spoke as he considered Gemini. "You do not seek knowledge as a Ravenclaw, nor do you have the loyalty for Hufflepuff, yet you do have her sense of hard work." The Hat continued but then saw what he was looking for. "Ah but this is where your ambition and hard work comes to power the Red Dragon is but a steppingstone for you for a much larger foe one who is said to be undefeatable." The Hat said and thus began to laugh at this. "It takes a profound sense of bravery to face such impossible odds and knowing your own dislikes I'd recon that your mother would find this to be insulting to her." The Hat said as thus it was time to announce it.
"If it's what I think it is, more power to me." Gemini said as he was not one to turn away a chance to give his mother a heart attack.
"Quiet, may you be welcomed as the first Lestrange in the house of, GRYFFINDOR!" The Hat announced the last bit aloud and thus everyone gasped when they heard this. Neville was horrified by the decision, Ron was not happy, and Draco was smirking a bit.
"That's hogwash he's blooming Bellatrix Lestrange's son!" Ron cried out but was then glared at for his words. Gemini simply ignored him as he passed by and took the empty seat that would provide him with ideal isolation.
Ron had been ignored of course as Dumbledore stepped forward to address the students. "Now than before we begin the feast a few starting announcements." Dumbledore began as everyone paid attention while Ron was made to shut his mouth. "For starters, Professor McGonagall will be stepping down as the Professor of Transfiguration and the Gryffindor Head of House to focus on her responsibilities as the Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts." Dumbledore began surprising many when he said this. "But worry not joining our staff and taking her place is a Ms. Kuroka Toujou." Dumbledore announced as Kuroka stood up and waved at the students as all the boys began to go wide eyed at her and some were even drooling a bit. "She has agreed to step in as the New Professor of Transfiguration and Head of Gryffindor starting this year." Dumbledore said which needless to say the boys in Gryffindor were all cheering while a few students were making plans to switch to her classes if possible.
"The next bit of announcements is for the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts." Dumbledore announced to which everyone paid attention. "In response for our failed attempt to acquire such a professor the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforce, Amelia Bones has sent to us on loan one of her Aurors to handle the position until such a time we may acquire a more permanent teacher for the role." Dumbledore announced as soon Nymphadora Tonks began to step forward. "So please give a round of applause for Auror Nymphodora Tonks." Dumbledore announced as she let the use of her name go for this instance as students began to applaud her while some of the Hufflepuffs seem to recognize her.
"Finally, another addition to our staff is one Fleur Delacour." Dumbledore began as the boys who remember her from the previous year looked ready to jump out of their seats. "You may remember her as the Champion for Beabauxens the previous year. She will be joining us as a Teaching Assistant for Fillius Flitwick." Dumbledore said and thus the students were all happy to have Fleur back but not for innocent reasons.
In turn the announcements came to an end as the feast began for everyone. Food appeared and in response they all dug in to start eating.
(Scene Break that evening Gryffindor Common Room)
After the feast came to an end everyone began to make their way to the Common Rooms for a good night's rest. Classes began in the morning and thus they all needed to go to bed early. Making his way up the steps to the dorm rooms Gemini ignored all the looks he got in the common room. Of course, he eventually got to his designated dorm only to find one Ronald Billius Weasley in his way. Opting to ignore him Gemini saw Ron step in front of him to stop him. Trying again Gemini tried to walk around Ron only to be stopped by him again.
With a sigh of annoyance Gemini began to address the red head. "Can I help you?" Gemini asked as he looked to Ron with a raise brow.
"Yeah, you can go back to the snake pit where you belong Lestrange." Ron snapped as he glared at Gemini who didn't seem bothered.
"Hmm strange I could assume the hat put me here." Gemini said looking to his red robes as proof of being in Gryffindor.
"I don't know what you to pull the hoodwink on the hat but you're not fooling me!" Ron yelled causing Gemini to sigh to this.
"I see then... ok I'll cut to the chase either you can get out of my way so I can go to bed... or I can toss you down the stairs to get into the dorm... your call." Gemini said giving Ron the opportunity to step aside.
"I'd like to see you try." Ron said and thus Gemini smirked to this.
Next thing Ron knew he was punched in the gut causing him to hunch over when Gemini grabbed him. "You asked for it." Gemini said as Ron quickly realized Gemini was NOT bluffing.
(Meanwhile downstairs)
Everyone was getting settled when they suddenly heard a scream of terror the stairs followed by the painful screams and bangs of someone coming down the stairs. Looking to the source they saw Ron rolling down the stairs getting bruised and bloody as he went until he eventually hit the floor. Not long after Gemini came down as Ron started to get back up slowly and painfully. Once Gemini got there, he stomped his foot down on Ron showing dominance as well as the fact he threw Ron down the stairs.
"Ok does anyone else have a problem with me being here?" Gemini asked almost daring the students to voice it but seeing what he did to Ron no one dared to speak up. "Good I didn't think so." Gemini said and thus he stepped on Ron as he leaned in closer to him. "Listen up Ronald the next time you want to play tough guy ask yourself, is this really worth it is humiliating myself by getting my ass throttled truly worth it?" Gemini said before turned around to walk back up the stairs spinning on Ron's back to do it. Ron in his part cried in pain from the act as Gemini had clearly shown he was not one to mess with.
Everyone stood there in shock over what just happened as they all looked to each other and then back to the stairs. One thing was clear Gemini Lestrange was not someone they wanted to annoy.
