"Alright then Laswell, we got Rebecca recruited to our cause. Now what?" asked Soap.
"Funny you should ask. Farah and Alex are sending reports coming from Las Almas on wildlife sick with an unkown illness." said Laswell.
"Las Almas, sounds like I need to brush up on my spanish" said Leon.
"Do we know what exactly they\re sick with or what's been infected?" asked Claire.
"So far it seems to be stray dogs. Locals report abnormal appearances to them physically. You, Leon and Rebecca are to investigate the site and secure any samples for lab analysis." said Laswell.
"Any cooperation with local law enforcement?" asked Leon.
"You three will be working close with Alejandro Vargas, Colonel in the Mexican Special Forces" said Laswell.
"Hey Leon? You said you'll be needing to brush up on your Spanish? With Alejandro, you'll learn fast" said Soap.
"Good to know" said Leon.

A crowd gathers around a hazardous area with caution tape and Mexican Special Forces holding the people back.
Claire, Leon and Rebecca goes through the crowd showing her credentials.
"You Terrasave?" asked Alejandro
"Claire Redfield. These are my associates. What are we dealing with?" asked Claire
"This way" said Alejandro
Alejandro leads the three to a tarp covered body of a dog appearing to be infected with something. Looking to be covered in tumors and in a green hue.
Claire pulls out blue gloves and a face mask calling over Rebecca for help.
"When did this dog show up?" asked Claire.
"Last night. Some of my men we're working a case on some gas being shipped through here." explained Alejandro.
Claire goes for her bag to get tools to secure any DNA sample on this dog.
"Gas? You mean Nova 6?" asked Leon
"Nova 6? Is that what they call it?" asked Alejandro.
"Same gas used during a bioterrorism attack yesterday." said Rebecca.
"Oye! Jefe!"
Sgt. Major Rodolfo Parra goes over to Alejandro.
"*Spanish* Last night there was an incident at a cartel compound"
He hands Alejandro a tablet with CCTV footage of a raid that ended up with an explosion.
Claire and Rebecca finish loading up saliva vials and blood samples securely into the bags.
"Redfield to Watcher 1 samples are secured over" said Rebecca
"You three, with us" said Alejandro
"Where to?" asked Leon
"Our base" said Rodolfo
Alejandro and Rodolfo drive Leon, Claire and Rebecca to their base of operations.
"What brings you three to Las Almas?" asked Rodolfo.
"Assuming you're Mexican Special Forces, Laswell sent us" said Claire.
"Alejandro Vargas and this is my Sergeant Major Rodolfo Parra."
"Guess you're our guys." said Leon.
They eventually pull up on their base.
"Any of you know Spanish?" asked Alejandro.
"I wish" said Rebecca.
"Not since my little adventure in Spain" adds Leon.
"Si. Viajando por el mundo por trabajo y aprendes un par de cosas" said Claire.
Leon and Rebecca look confused.
Alejandro smiles.
"Not bad. Even got the accent and dialect down too. I like her already"
"Better hope Soap is right about learning Spanish fast" said Leon.
"Welcome to Los Vaqueros" said Alejandro.
"That means Cowboys by the way..." whispered Claire to Leon and Rebecca.
"Our base is your base. Whatever you need." said Alejandro
"I need a place to work on studying these samples. We're trying to figure out more on this gas and where it's coming from." said Rebecca.
"Laswell's working on getting old files declassified on where the stuff came from." said Leon.
"Captain Price and The 141 need our help on this one. Russian Ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov is using the Nova 6 gas in a series of attacks." explained Claire.
"Nearly killed us too" said Leon.
"Rodolfo, you mentioned a raid last night right?" Claire asked.
"Last night a cartel compound blew up containing a stash of this Nova 6 gas. We don't know the soldiers behind the attack. Could be men working for this Makarov you mentioned." said Alejandro.
"We're raiding a weapons deal in a few hours." said Rodolfo.
"Maybe we can help? Once TF 141 show up, we'll raid together." suggested Leon.
"Alright Vaquero. You ride with us." said Alejandro.
