Resident Evil: Modern Warfare Chapter 9
Price leads the team back to the room where the cartel and Konni lieutenants.
"Where's Makarov? Where's the Nova 6?" asked Price.
"Fuck you cabron!" spat the cartel lieutenant.
Price then starts punching the cartel lieutenant over and over again.
"I'd give him answeres if I were you mate" said Gaz.
"Where's the Nova 6 gas?" asked Jill.
"Makarov will taike your worlds piece by piece" said the Konni Lieutenant.
"This is getting us nowhere"
Price then pulls out a handgun and shoots the cartel lieutenant in the head.
"JESUS CHRIST!" shouts Jill.
"Last chance, where's the gas? Where's Makarov?" asked Price.
But before the lieutenant could say anything,
"Captain, his phone" said Gaz tossing it to Price.
Price answers as he listens in.
"I know you are listening Captain Price. You'd think I wouldn't notice my men not reporting in without reason? Come find me in Al Mazrah.*Russian* Hell awaits"
Price kills the Konni lieutenant and shoots the phone.
"Who was it sir?" asked Gaz.
"Makarov. Vladimir Makarov. He's heading to Al Mazrah. Probably using the remainder of the gas to infect the whole area. Laswell we're running out of time, we need to know where Nova 6 came from so Chambers can come up with a vaccine" said Price.
"I got a location. Took a little bit of convincing and urgency but the CIA allowed me to access the files." said Kate.
"Where to Laswell?" asked Jill.
Kate placed the files on the table in the briefing room.
"Rebirth Island. Originally used to create Nova 6 until we raided the island in 1968. Until we fast forward to 1984 when the island was repurposed for the sole reason of testing it. There's a lot here no one is supposed to see which was why almost everything here was covered in black ink." said Kate.
"How far is it from here?" asked Chris.
"Turns out it was close by all these years. You could get a good view of Verdansk from there." said Kate.
"Alright. We got Rebirth on one end and Al Mazrah on the other. We cant be in two places at once." said Leon.
"Actually we can and we will. One team will head to Al Mazrah and find the bunker keeping Nova 6 and blow it to hell, before Makarov infects the area with it. The other will head to Rebirth Island, gather intel to send to Rebecca for re-engineering an airborne vaccine to counter the effects and then blow up the labs and factories so no one can use it ever again, then exfil out to regroup at Al Mazrah." said Laswell.
"Who's going to the prison island and who goes after Makarov?" asked Soap.
"I'll go." Gaz volunteered.
"I'll go too" said Claire.
"Hey! You sure about this?" asked Chris.
"I'll be fine Chris. I'll be in good hands." assured Claire.
"The Sergeant will guarantee her safety Chris. But for now this is out chance to go after Makarov and save millions of lives." said Price.
"Chris, everyone here has crossed paths with each other to stop this Makarov and end his use of Nova 6 for Bioterrorism. Price is right. We need to work together and trust one another." said Jill.
"Alright. I trust you Gaz." said Chris.
"Good. The gang's all in on this." said Leon.
"He's right, we're not 141, Los Vaqueros, DSO, Terrasave and Hound Wolf on this. We're a team. All of us." said Price.
The briefing room.
"Gaz and Claire will infiltrate onto Rebirth Island with Nikolai as their ride in and out off the island. You both will head to a lone building that seems to power the island with the exception of the Chemical Engineering factory and office. Once you do that, head to the bioweapons lab gather intel and send it to Chambers so she can get to work on creating the vaccine. Soap will provide you both with enough C4 to destroy everything tied to Nova 6 once and for all. Once that is complete, head to the prison facility at the island's center and exfil for evac. It'll likely be nightfall by the time you're done so make sure the lighthouse signal is on so you can signal Nikolai for extraction." briefed Laswell.
"Ghost, Soap, Kennedy, Redfield Valentine and Los Vaqueros will assist with the apprehending Makarov. I'll have Echo 3-1 and Farah en route for additional support." said Price.
"Gonna be a good chance we have to fight our way through zombies Captain" said Leon.
"Not one undead is to leave Al Mazrah. We need to keep this contained before we get nuked as a last resort" said Jill.
"I'll have Hound Wolf on site to lead a counter offensive against the infected." said Chris.
"Sounds like a plan then." said Rebecca.
"Let's gear up! We're wheels up in 10" said Price.
