Resident Evil: Modern Warfare Chapter 14
"A nuke?!" asked Price.
"Chambers said Shepherd is prepping a nuke for launch. We only have until sunrise" said Ghost.
"Fuckin hell Shepherd. Hunnigan, General Shepherd is prepping a nuke heading for Al Mazrah, anything you can do to stall him?" asked Price.
"I'm working it, but you need to take down Makarov while the vaccine is prepped for launch." said Hunnigan.
"Rog. Bravo 0-6 out."
"A nuke sir?" asked Soap.
"Shepherd's killing two birds with one stone. Covering up his failed attempt at the Siege and killing us. All to cover his own arse." said Price.
"Containment was always the name of the game" said Soap.
"Exacatly. Which is why we need to find Makarov. Let's move!" said Price.
The two began their trek up to the top floor of the tower to reach Makarov.
Back at Burger Town, Jill and Chris still held out at the roof picking off the undead.
"Ghost, Leon? Where are you?" asked Jill.
"Jill!" shouts Chris as in the distance was a Megaton.
"What the fuck?" asked Jill
The two opened fire as the Megaton was tanking their bullets. The Megaton then throws an explosive projectile from it's body at the two. Chris grabs Jill diving for cover.
"Great. Hostile Bio weapons joined the party" said Chris.
"Nothing we can't handle." said Jill.
This was interrupted as a mimic leaps onto the roof as the creature with no eyes and back tendrils roars at them. The mimic uses it tendrils to grab Chris by his legs as Jill shoots it and frees Chris.
"Fuck! We gotta move" said Chris
The two bailed out from the roof back to the ground with the undead closing in on them.
An Armored vehicle then drives in running over the undead as Ghost, Leon and the others all arrive on the scene.
"Took long enough" said Chris
"We got a bigger problem" said Leon.
"What do you mean?" asked Jill.
Rebecca then runs up to the two.
"We're running out of time"
Nikolai flies into the Al Mazrah city limits with the others looking below the streets seeing it flooded with zombies.
"Fuckin hell" said Gaz.
"It's only a matter of time until Shepherd tries to nuke this place to hell." said Laswell.
"We need to regroup with the others to take on Makarov. All stations this is Claire, where are you?"
"Claire? We're at the Burger Town, East of the Channel 7 tower." said Leon.
"Ghost, where's the Captain?" asked Gaz.
"He and Johnny are over at Highrise tower going after Makarov. Shepherd is sending a nuke that will arrive at sunrise. The vaccine is being prepped for launch but we need to buy some time and keep Shepherd off our trail." said Ghost.
"We need to regroup with Price and Soap. Jill and I will head back to Highrise tower. Leon, Claire, Rebecca Gaz and Ghost are backup. Laswell, see what you can do to contain the outbreak. Hound Wolf, Kate's your boss now while we go after Makarov" said Chris.
"Copy. Hunnigan it's Laswell, where are my boys?"
Price and Soap head to a floor with tons of undead. The two began clearing a path killing the zombies with their assault rifles and knives as a bayonnet.
"Z-KIA" shouts Price.
Soap shoots an entire mag until he had to reload and skewer a zombie to give him time to reload.
"Undead bloody bastards"
"Keep at em Soap. Makarov shouldn't be much farther." said Price shooting his handgun in between a reload.
Soap and Price kept up the pressure, shooting at all directions keeping the undead back.
"Soap loaded a grenade for the M203 launcher and fired a round blowing up a group of zombies with it raining meat.
"Nice one Soap." said Price.
"Price, Soap, Laswell and her team have entered the city" said Hunnigan.
"Good. Cavalry has arrived" said Soap.
"Send traffic" said Price.
"John?"
"Go ahead Kate."
"I'm sending a team to your position. It's time to wrap this up"
"Rog. We're om standby"
"Be advised. You're both three floors below him. he's alone." said Hunnigan.
"Copy that Hunnigan. Let's finally nail this bastard!" said Soap.
The next two floors, Price and Soap were clearing a path. Meanwhile outside the building, Chris and Jill used grapple hooks to zip up towards Price and Soap's position as they intercept by shooting their way through the glass and clear the remaining zombies.
"What's the situation on the ground?" asked Price.
"Laswell is sending reinforcements to snatch Makarov while she spearheads the containment effort. We're burning daylight if we don't get that vaccine here before the nuke drops" said Chris.
"Let's move!" said Price.
