New islands and new dragons

It's been three months since I first set up my island and in those three months a lot has changed on my island. My crops had grown great, fast and from what I could tell they'd be ready for harvest in a few more weeks. The garden I grew with flowers was coming along so beautifully to the point where I could just lay in it enjoy the scent of the flowers all day. As for my animals they had taken to the island like a dragon to the sky. I did round up a few wild boars and let them loose in the forest so my wolves would have prey to hunt since I didn't want their hunting skills to become rusty. The jungle I was growing had surprisingly grown fast and by fast, I mean almost completely grown thanks to the fertilizer, the pan flute I got from Pan and the island helping them flourish. My monkeys and Ikan had taken well to the forest if them spending all day, every day in it was any indication. My Jaguars were still getting used to the jungle, which isn't surprising since they may have been born in the jungle they still grew up sheltered from this kind of jungle, and had mostly experienced the forests of Berk, which were nothing, like the jungle. The tree I planted in the grove in the volcano had begun to grow to the point where it was still a small tree that only reached my knees in height even with my pan flute playing, but I could tell this meant it was no normal tree since my other trees had already nearly reached full height and there was also the fact that its sap was liquid gold.

As for me I had been drawing up plans to enlarge my base by making more buildings around the island. My dragons had taken well to their new stables, especially after they marked them and brought in some stuff to make it more comfortable for them. Damen still circled the island and was able to catch Snotlout and the twins trying to sneak onto it six times now only to be taken back to the village. I worked out a deal with their parents which was every time they get caught they pay me for the trouble. So far thanks to the twins and Snotlout I've got nine new chickens and two yaks. I still collected Damens teeth that fall out every month and so far, I had five bags full of them. As for Kal he mostly just enjoyed playing with my tidal class dragons and me when I went for a swim.

As for what's been happening with the village things have been rather annoying with both my dad and the villagers. My dad has been trying to talk me into letting some of Berks farmers use my island while also trying to convince me to build them some fishing ships like mine claiming it would be of great aid to Berk. I simply told him that for years he told me to keep my inventions to myself and that is exactly what I intended to do. It felt good to throw his past actions back at him but that didn't stop him from trying thanks to his Viking stubbornness. There were also the problems I've been having with Mildew trying to convince everyone to take over my island. Frankly I began to realize that the old man wasn't worth my energy so when I saw him at it again I had Maelstrom take care of him. Long story short Mildew ended up spending seven hours up a tree with Maelstrom circling the bottom as I continued my business in the village and when we left Maelstrom had Mildews walking stick, which now hung on the wall in the wolves' den as his own souvenir.

Another annoyance in the village was the other teens who never stopped pestering me. Snotlout kept on begging me to make him a suit of armor and to teach him how to train dragons. Most of the time I just ignored him but when he told me that I was finally good for something and I wasn't doing it did I snap. I made sure Snotlout got the message that he shouldn't mess with me but then again, I wondered if two broken arms, a broken nose, a twisted ankle and broken leg would be enough to get the message across since Jorgensons weren't known for their brains. Fishlegs was another annoyance with his requests to use my library, which as he put it held more knowledge than anyone could ever ask for. Unlike Snotlout however he was easy to get rid of since a simple glare from me and growl from the animal or dragon accompanying me was more than enough to get him to leave me alone.

The twins on the other hand were another story because they had much to my surprise gotten a whole lot worse in their desires towards me. Tuffnut would try to go trough my saddlebag looking for anything that would explode or cause damage but he never got far since I always caught him and dragged him to his parents. They always gave me a bag of bread to apologize for their son's invasion of my privacy. Even though it was annoying his sister was far worse than him in so many ways. The reason being even though he went through my stuff at least he left me alone while Ruffnut on the other hand never left my side. Honestly the second I walked into the village with a wagon load of gronkle iron, she'd rush up to me and latch onto my arm asking me how I was. She would remain there for most of the day no matter how many times I told her to get off. Even when I tossed her off she just got up and returned to her original place at my side saying I was playing hard to get.

I just ignored her now but Astrid was someone I couldn't ignore considering her constant challenges towards me. She's challenged me to a fight with every type of weapon known to Vikings but she always lost to me and I wound up getting the weapon she used as a trophy since she didn't have a helmet. The weapons now hung on the wall next to the shelves I built to hold the helmets which thanks to Astrid was filling up fast. The reason the shelf was filling up thanks to Astrid is that people kept watching us and with every defeat it brought more opponents who wanted to test themselves against me.

All this brought me to where I am now which was loading up my dragon collecting ship with supplies for an expedition I've been planning. I've been using the dragon eye to go through multiple islands I've been meaning to explore to hopefully train the dragons they have. I knew these dragons might be helpful in the future with their capabilities and I needed to get away from Berk for a while since I was getting pretty dam sick of the challenges. I already informed both my dad and Gobber about my trip and they accepted it knowing they couldn't keep me from leaving. I smiled at the ship before turning to my gathered animals and dragons before I said.

"We'll be back in a few days and while I'm gone try not to destroy the island." They all let out their respected noises before I smiled and boarded the ship with Toothless following. I signaled Scaulder to start pulling and we were off.

3 hours later

We were closing in on Breakneck bog which was the first stop on my trip. I wasn't here to collect another dragon however since I already had smothering smokebreaths but their species is the reason I was here. They only used metal to line their but never used gold, jewels or chests engraved with gold and jewels because from what I could tell they thought it was too reflective and attracted predators. For this reason, they toss any gold or jewels they find into a pile which I come and collect from time to time which is a win-win situation for both me and the dragons. They win because their nest gets cleaned out and I win because I get more gold and jewels. The smokebreaths never gave me any trouble though since they know I'm a friend from when I first got Smoky and my other trips here in which I brought them the left-over scrap metal I had which I didn't give to Smoky. This ensured that whenever I came by I was always greeted enthusiastically.

We docked the ship in the usual place, which had a clear path to the Smothering Smokebreath nest. After I hooked Toothless up to the wagon with the scrap metal I gave Scaulder a smile and telling him we wouldn't be gone long before me and Toothless made our way to the nest. As we walked I heard a strange raw echo through the trees which sounded nothing like a Smothering Smokebreath and I'm guessing Toothless noticed the sound as well since he stopped and looked around while growling. When I saw this I gently rubbed his head and said.

"Don't worry bud it's probably just a passing dragon. I doubt it'll give us any trouble." He just growled before we kept walking.

It didn't take us long to arrive at the nest of the smothering smokebreaths and as I expected we were greeted enthusiastically by the dragons. A few of them swarmed around me and Toothless before nuzzling us as I laughed and Toothless tried to shoo them away while the rest of the smothering Smokebreaths swarmed the cart for the scrap metal. I smiled as they took it before I walked into their nest to see if they had any gold or jewels for me to collect. I was happy to see that they had a large pile of gold items like small Viking statues, coins, cups, vases, plates and a chest with jewel encrusted gold parts which were normally iron that was full of gold coins and jewels. I smiled at the sight before I called Toothless to bring in the wagon so we could load up the stuff. It didn't take long to collect all the stuff and I had to say that the gathered stuff would be a nice addition to the stuff in my vault which was really beginning to fill up. I still wondered what I could do with all that gold since I mostly provided for myself and when I got stuff from Johan I just gave him the shark skins I've collected. I admit the gold has come in handy when I travelled to different cities like Alexandria and the cities around Greece but that still never made a dent in my riches and in some cases I wound up with even more riches. I knew one thing for sure though and that was my kids won't have to work a day in their lives if I kept collecting riches like this. After we gathered everything we said goodbye to the smokebreaths before heading back to the ship. I smiled as I walked next to Toothless and said.

"Well bud you can say what you want about the Smothering Smokebreaths but you can't deny. They do come in handy when it comes to getting rid of left-over scrap metal and collecting more gold." It was at that moment I heard that roar again and decided it was worth checking out. "Okay bud once we've dropped this stuff off we'll check out that roar." He growled and nodded before we continued to the ship.

After we had dropped everything off in the storage area we returned to the forest so we could see what that roaring sound was. I knew it had to be a dragon since there was no way that roar could possibly belong to any other creature but what I wanted to know what type of dragon it was since I hadn't heard a roar like that before. As we got farther into the forest the roar got louder and seemed to mix with the sound of rocks being crushed. We kept heading towards the sound only to arrive at a small clearing full of boulders. It wasn't the boulders I was focused on however but the dragon that was turning them into rubble. This dragon was red, with golden or rings on its body, four horns at the back of its head and its body was long and slender like a snake with an arrow shaped tail and four legs with one pair under the wings and the other two at the back. I knew exactly what type of dragon this was even without the knowledge of the dragon eye since there was a golden statue of one impaled with a sword hanging over the fire in the great hall. It was a grapple grounder from the boulder class which is said to be able to strangle any dragon or Viking like an anaconda. From what I could tell this one was exercising its squeeze by crushing large boulders in its coils and turning them into rubble. I knew this dragon would be very helpful for restraining wild dragons who were acting aggressively, wrestling practice and turning boulders into rubble with Ruble. I signalled Toothless to stay where he was before I walked into the clearing. When I was five feet away from the Grapple Grounder when it noticed me. I saw it glare at me in warning so to show I wasn't a threat I took off my weapons and threw them aside but its glare never wavered. I slowly took one more step forward and I'm guessing that was all he needed to see me as a threat.

Before I could even blink the dragon was wrapped around me and trying to squeeze the life out of me. I struggled against the dragons grip barely able to free both of my arms from its coils and use them to grab onto the dragons horns. It pulled its head back but I held onto its horns tightly forcing it to loosen its grip on me as it put all its strength into trying to make me let go. This only allowed me to be completely pulled out of its coils. I was able to use its pull to fling myself over its head and land behind its head before it immediately started shaking its head around trying to shake me off. I held onto the horns tightly before I yanked its head to the side and pulled its head to the ground. I held its head against the ground for a few seconds as it struggled before it stopped struggling and its tongue hung out of its mouth. I let go of its horns before it got up as I turned around, stepped back and held out the palm of my hand in an attempt to train it. I looked away and took a deep breath before I felt the familiar warmth of scales on the palm of my hand. I turned towards the dragon and smiled before I gave a gentle scratch and took not that it was a male dragon. I looked at him before signalling Toothless to come out. He came out of the bushes looking at the Grapple Grounder who growled at him until I gave a gentle scratch and said.

"Don't worry he's a friend." The dragon simply growled. "That was a real struggle you gave me. You're a real champ when it comes to wrestling." I snapped my fingers. "That's what we'll call you. Champ! What do you think?" He just growled and nuzzled me as I laughed and rubbed his head before I lead him back to the ship and got him set up in a pen before we were off again.

nightfall

I enjoyed the feel of the salty wind of the sea in my face as the ship sailed through the waters and the waves crashed against the ships hull. I then noticed a small orange glow in the distance so I pulled out my spyglass to see what it was that was giving off that glow. I walked to the front of the ship to try and get a better view only to see the glow coming from a cave on an island. Curiosity got the better of me so I asked Scaulder to take us towards the island where the glow was coming from. As we got closer I saw that the island was mostly cliffs so I'd have to park the ship close and fly onto the island. When we were close enough I had Scaulder wait with the ship while me, Toothless and Champ investigated the cave.

I flew to the island on Toothless before we made our way towards the cave. It was then I noticed where the glow I saw was coming from. It was a small group of five fireworm dragons who were looking up at me before scurrying back into the cave. I remember reading about those dragons in the book of dragons and how their skin was meant to be as hot as the sun and how they're known to be flame eaters. I was still confused on that flame eater thing since I doubt they could actually eat flames. It was then I decided to investigate the cave and see where those fireworms had run off to. As we got deeper into the cave I noticed it was getting hotter for some reason until we came into a large cavern with what looked to be large honeycombs on the walls but they were hotter and seemed to have some sort of gel in them. I noticed more than a few fireworms were crawling around on these combs. I realised we had just entered a fireworm nest and it was the gel in the combs that gave fireworms their glow. I walked up to one to try and get a closer look but I was stopped by two very loud roars echoing into the cavern. I turned towards the opening on the other side of the cavern where two large fireworms were running out of. I knew these were the fireworm queens and I'm guessing neither of them was happy to see either me or my dragons in their nest. My dragons growled at them but I held up my hand towards them and said.

"Easy guys. We're in their nest so we have to respect them."

They lowered their heads while I turned back to the queens and noticed that the only difference between them was one was slightly smaller than the other. I stepped away from the fire combs making the queens stop glaring at me before I signalled my dragons to back off a bit. They took a few steps back before I turned back to the queens and said.

"Easy there girls. We don't mean any harm."

They just kept staring at me before I took off all my weapons and threw them aside before I slowly walked up to them. The smaller one slowly walked up to me and lowered her head before sniffing me as I held completely still as she did. When she was done she pulled away and looked down at me as I held my hand out and turned away. I was glad I had a metal gauntlet on since when I felt her lay her head against my hand I felt the heat right through the gronkle iron and leather. When she pulled away she walked up to the larger queen before they nuzzled each other. When they finished the smaller one walked up to me and lowered her head in front of me. I smiled and gave it a gentle rub before I turned around and began to walk out only to find her following me. I figured this meant she wanted to come with me. I turned to her and said.

"Let's think of a name for you." I rubbed my chin. "How about Freya after the Norse goddess of fire." She just purred at the name before following me.

10 minutes later

I was in my quarters laying on the bed with my dragons in their pens. Freya got a special pen with a gronkle iron floor, wall and roof since I didn't want her to set fire to my ship with her skin. She wasn't the only one in her room however but there was still plenty of space left in the room. Sharing the room was a small group of normal fireworms who came with her when she decided to come with me. I just figured the more the merrier in this case. I looked up at the ceiling and began to doze off wondering what would happen tomorrow.

Morning

We were once again sailing through the waves as I enjoyed the wind in my face and the smell of the salty air. Toothless walked up next to me and rubbed his head under my arm making me smile before I rubbed his head. As I rubbed his head I looked out to the ocean wondering what we would find next. We were on our way to a place known as Clattercliff Iland which according to the dragon eye was nothing more than rocks and dirt. According to the information I got from one the dragon eye lenses there's a species of dragon known as Shovelhelms which were said to be incredible architects. I knew if I was able to train one it would be a great help when it came to construction on my island and with the renovations I was planning I knew it would definitely come in handy. I looked out to the ocean before I took out my spyglass to see if I could spot anything in the distance. I looked around the small range I was able to and much to my joy I saw Clattercliff Island in the distance. I knew we would be there in twenty or thirty minutes but I wouldn't be able to park my ship too close since a few stray boulders might land on my ship and cause damage.

25 minutes later

I was now on Toothless flying over the island after I parked my ship a small flight away from the island and from what I could see I was right to since there are tons of large and small rocks falling from the cliffs. The last thing I needed were those large rocks causing any damage to my ship or landing on Scaulder and hurting him. I just hoped I would be able to find a shovelhelm to train in all the chaos on this island which apparently has more rockslides a day than Berk has brawls a day and that is saying something when it comes to Vikings.

I had Toothless take us down so I could get a better look at the island and hopefully find a Shovelhelm dragon to train. I had him land on a rock before I dismounted him looked around only to see nothing but dirt, rocks and the occasional dead log. I walked around the area to see if I could find anything to help me track down a Shovelhelm like tracks, a scale, claw or even their droppings. These would be ideal clues to finding the lair of a Shovelhelm where not only might I be able to find the dragon but also get an idea of their architectural abilities. It was at that moment I saw something sticking out of the dirt. I picked it up and examined it in my hand and realised it was a scale of some kind. I smiled noticing it wasn't from any type of dragon I recognised meaning it might belong to a Shovelhelm dragon. I turned to Toothless and said.

"This scale brings us one step closer to a Shovelhelm bud." He just crooned before I looked around for more clues.

1 hour later

We had just arrived at a large cave which looked to be built into the side of a cliff which fortunately had a small path on the side of the cliff leading to it. I turned to Toothless and nodded to him before I walked into the cave which much to my surprise had holes in the roof which supplied light to the entire place. As we got deeper into the cave I noticed that things began to become a bit darker as I noticed a few branches and old leaves. It was then I heard something up ahead like stones being crushed with branches as Toothless growled at the sound which immediately stopped at the sound. It was then I heard large steps coming towards us and looked in the direction it was coming from only to see a Shovelhelm walking towards us with a tilted head. I smiled and reached into Toothless's saddlebag before pulling out a fish I brought with us for just in case. I slowly walked towards the Shovelhelm with my hand that held the fish held out towards it. The Shovelhelm slowly walked towards me and sniffed the fish before opening its mouth allowing me to feed it the fish. It growled in what I assumed was delight as it chewed on the fish before swallowing and looking at me before walking up and nuzzling my chest. I smiled and rubbed its head before I took a step back and held out the palm of my hand and looked away. It wasn't long before I felt the warmth of scales pressing against the palm of my hand. I turned to face the Shovelhelm I smiled as it pulled back before I turned to Toothless and said.

"We've got a new addition to the team bud." He just growled before we left the cave.

When we were out of the cave I was able to get a better look at the Shovelhelm and saw that it was a male who in colouring was aquamarine with brown stripes which were outlined with swamp green, a pale green underbelly and the top of the frill on his head was white. I smiled at him before I gave his nose a gentle pat and asked.

"Now what should we name you?" I rubbed my chin in thought before the shovelhelm began digging up using his mouth and pulled up a stone which he quickly crushed with his teeth before I snapped my fingers. "I've got it how's about Stone tooth?"

He growled in acceptance at this before I scratched the back of his head making him rumble in pleasure. After that we lead him to the ship to settle into his pen after informing I that this was only temporary and we'd be back on our own island soon. I knew Stone toothwould be very helpful for the upgrades to my home with all the construction I was planning and if the path to the cave and the architecture of the cave itself was any indication he would be great help. After we were all settled in I did another sweep of the island and saw a few more Shovelhelms flying around along with some other species but they all just ignored me at the time. I even found an old dug up jeweled chest that some Shovelhelms must have dug up out of curiousity. It was full of gold coins and jewels so I was able to add some more gold to the riches on my ship. To be honest with all the gold I've collected I'm pretty sure I've become one of the richest people in the archipeligo but the archipeligo is a big place with a whole lot of people so you never know. These were the thoughts that were going through my head as I lay in bed stairing up at the roof of my cabin since when I got back to my ship it was nightfall so after we all enjoyed our dinner we all turned in for the night.

Morning

We were once again out on the ocean with me standing up at the front of the ship watching Scaulder as the wind whipped into my face along with the occasional blast of sea water. I admit I enjoyed the feeling of the water and wind in my face since it reminded me of all the places I've seen when I've travelled. The ocean always reminded me of the long trips I did to get to these places but it was at that moment I saw something moving on the top of the water in the distance. I took out my spyglass to get a better look at it. My eyes widened at the sight I saw. It was a dragon with light faded blue scales that wasn't swimming but moving among the waves with the grace of a dancer. I called to Scaulder to change direction towards the dragon so I could get a better look at it and possibly train it. As we got closer I couldn't help but admire the way this dragon seemed to just dance among the waves as if it were a performance and it was beautiful. When we got close I signalled Scaulder to stop at a distance so we wouldn't spook it since that's the last thing I wanted to do. We parked the ship thirty feet away from the dragon so I could still admire it but not spook it.

As I watched the dragon dance across the waves I did my best to take in all the details of its moves across the waves with such grace. It was at that moment that it took notice of the ship and glided along the waves towards us with its eyes never leaving the ship. When it was close it looked over the railing of the ships side at me and Toothless who was right next to me. Seeing my opportunty I slowly walked over to a basket where I kept some fish I caught and took one out before offering it to the dragon. It tilted its head in curiousity before it took the fish in its mouth and swallowed it before crooning at me. I smiled at it before I grabbed another fish and once again fed it to the dragon before I tried to pet its long snout. The scales felt moist and smooth underneath my hand as it cooed at my touch before I pulled away and stepped back and held up the palm of my hand before turning away. It wasn't long before I felt the warmth of the dragons snout against the palm of my hand. I turned back and smiled as I admired the dragon who I now noticed was female. I also saw that she had two coral shaped horns and a relatively long snout, three small fins set on her long neck, her wings had wavy white patterns all over, a large tail fin and instead of legs, she had two front flippers. I smiled at her beauty and knew if I couldn't find a job for her I could still enjoy watching her glide across the waves. I looked up at her and said.

"How's about the name 'Marina'? A beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

She crooned at the name as I smiled before a large wave hit the ship making me fall over and cut my hand on a nail that was sticking out. Marina crooned at me as I just held up my bleeding hand. She turned her head at it before she licked it and to my surprise the wound began to heal before it was like it was never there. I looked up at her and smiled before I rubbed her snout knowing that this was definitely going to come in handy in the future with wounds. It was then I remembered reading about this Marina's species from the dragon eye. Marina's species was known as tide gliders, which were often sought after because of their saliva's healing capabilities. I gave her another smile before I spent some time getting to know her and introducing her to my other dragons.

6 hours later

We just arrived at an island, which was so feared by Vikings they named it 'Dead-End Island' and after looking at the shoreline I understood why. There were rocks sticking out everywhere and the wreckages of ships covered the only rocks I couldn't see. I lay anchor a good distance away from the rocks since the last thing I needed was to scuttle my ship on the rocks. I figured there might be something worth taking from the ships that weren't so fortunate.

2 hour later

When I assumed there were some treasures on those sunken ships on the rocks but boy was that an understatement. I found so much treasure on the ships that I was running out of room to put it all and with Scaulder able go and raid the ships that were underneath the water I knew that all this would definitely be a sizable addition to my vault. It was so much I had to use one of the empty pens to store some of it since there was so much. As for the things I found there were gold coins, statues, plates, jugs and so much gold I was afraid it would sink my ship. There were also chests of jewels and other various treasures like books, charts, maps and so much more all of which would be a great addition to both my vault and library. These were just some of the things I found on the wreckages of the ships around the island but now I'm going to investigate the island itself. Toothless and me were on the top deck ready to go wit Toothless all saddled up while my other dragons were lying in their pens relaxing. I turned to Toothless and asked.

"You ready to go bud?" He nodded before I mounted and we were off.

1 hour later

We had been flying over the island for a while now and I have to say it had no shortage of dragons since I had seen nightmares, Terrors, Nadders, Zipplebacks along with the occasional Timberjack and Changewing. I understood why so many dragons chose to call this island home since the rocky shoreline made it impossible to make a dock for any village to be made and impossible for anyone to just come and go as they pleased. I had Toothless land in a small clearing for a break since we had been flying over the forest for a while and I figured he could use some rest since he also helped search the ships for all their treasures.

Once we landed Toothless lay down as I pulled out a fish for Toothless and some dried boar meat for myself from the saddlebag. I lay against him and looked up at the sky and watched the clouds go by. I enjoyed the sight as the clouds went by and just lost myself in my thoughts about what place I should go to next since I had been planning to return to the Mayan jungle and Egypt to use my amulet to make quick ways home. It was these moments I felt at peace like when I was up in the sky with my dragons but I was brought out of my thoughts by what sounded like something sniffing nearby. I looked around until my eyes fell on a dragon I recognized as a Snifflehunch from the dragon eye. They were known to have a fire that was hot enough to melt nearly anything from any stone to any type of metal.

Toothless stood up and looked at it before getting in front of me ready to defend me if it was aggressive. The Snifflehunch just walked up to Toothless and began sniffing him probably trying to see if he was a threat. The Snifflehunch pulled away and gave a dragon like smile before letting out a small growl as Toothless let him pass but kept a close eye on the Snifflehunch. It walked up to me and began sniffing my body and starting at my chest before it circled around me and began sniffing the rest of my body before it walked back to my front and nuzzled my chest. I smiled and rubbed his head before I took a step back and looked at it so I could get a better look at it. This Snifflehunch was a male with yellow, orange, blue and green scales so all in all it was one of the most colorful dragons I'd seen next to a Changewing. It was then I decided to train this Snifflehunch since he seemed friendly enough so I stepped back and held my hand out as I turned my head away. It wasn't even ten seconds before I felt warm scales against the palm of my hand. I turned to face the Snifflehunch pressing its nose against the palm of my hand and I smiled at him. He pulled at me and tilted his head before I asked.

"Now what should we name you?" He then began to sniffle a bit before turning to a rock and letting out a fiery sneeze, which was so bright, I covered my eyes but when I opened them back up the rock was completely melted. "Wow now that's hot." I turned back to the Snifflehunch. "I could definitely use that type of firepower in the forge to melt down the metal in the furnace. That's it! We'll call you Furnace." He just growled in approval before I stroked his head and mounted Toothless before we made our way back to the ship.

Three days later

We finally arrived back at the island and as always my dragons and animals greeted us. We got introductions out of the way before we began unloading the ship and by the time we were done unloading the treasures we found I knew I was without a doubt one of the richest people in the archipelago. Unfortunately I knew I could never let it get out or I would never be left alone since there would no doubt be thugs wanting to attack my island for my treasures or greedy fathers wanting me to marry their daughters so they would have an easy way to get their hands on my riches. It was one of the reasons I kept to myself but I knew one day I'd like to meet a nice girl and start a family of my own but I knew that was still a long time away. For now I needed to help my new dragons settle in, modify my forge to be able to withstand the heat of Furnace's blasts and build a new cavern for Freya to start her nest.

AN: Hey guys I hope you all enjoyed the new chapter since it's the last one for the year, as I will be taking a break to spend time with my family. Until next time please review and be kind with them. Also I finished writing my novel and am trying to find a publisher while also working on my blog which I will try to put a link to on my profile page so check it out if you can. Merry Christmas all and I'll see you all next year.
