Chapter 3 "Daemon"

Part 1 Shinji

Shinji woke up seeing a familiar white seeling of the hospital. It was something that had used to seeing back then. He felt his head spinning around as he was trying to get up and remember the events that occurred last night.

"I was going to pilot the Eva and fight Sachiel but what happened ? It didn't as bad as last time right?" Shinji tried his best to piece the different images that were flying on his head and find an explanation for what happened yesterday.

But when he pieced the all the images together a chill run through Shinji mind as he remembered exactly what happened piece by piece.

When the Evangelion was finally rose to the city Shinji prepared for the battle. Despite the fact that he felt like home with all the LCL in the entry pod he couldn't help but feel disgust to the fact that he was back to the place which he mostly hates. He could also feel Yui trying reaching out to him or at least a part of her that wasn't insane enough that it couldn't form two words. But he tried to dismiss it for now he had more importantly things to worry such as the angel that is infront of him.

Before the angel the angel could fire his first shot, Shinji charge towards him to catch him quickly.

The angel was smart enough to notice what his enemy was going for so he raised his AT field as fast as possible.

Shinji felt like he was hitting against a wall made out of granite. He couldn't break it through.

Through the communicate vox he could hear Ritsuko telling him to use the prock knife but before she could finish her sentence he had already pulled out.

He charged again to the angel and with more trying put it in his actions he managed to crack the last sort of defense the angel had.

He managed to stab the angel , Shinji was even sure that stub had even pierce through the side of its core.

But soon Shinji hopes came in to crumble as the little like teeth that were around the core biggen and lock the knife in place.

Shinji tried again and again to push the knife forward but the damm thing couldn't move.

Shinji quick realize his mistake the stub wasn't fatal enough to kill and his enemy had baited him to come closer in order to assure a good kill.

Before Shinji could do anything Sachiel aimed for his enemy's belly and blasted of with everything he had.

Shinji felt an enormous pain in stomach like the world best boxer had punch him in guts . Shinji fell backwards.

Sachiel didn't give his enemy a second chance as he quickly went over his body and blast his face again and again.

Shinji's immense pain was unspeakable he couldn't think anything at the moment because his body and mind was so focus on easing the pain. He tried to raise his left hand but the angel disarm him without a second chance.

The pain continued if didn't something now he will die . But the more the pain came to him the more he felt the environment change around him. Tried to remain focused but with each blast on the face he felt like he wasn't in this place.

No, he was back at GeoFront and the only he could see was the blasphemous beast trying ripping and tearing the remeans of the unit 02 . She was dead, dead by his inaction and cowardness .

The only thing Shinji could do now is scream out of rage, sadness, grief and sorrow as the only thing he could see now was a white light infront of him.

As Sachiel aimed for the final blow in the Eva's mouth the unexpected happened. The robotic jaw that was just for show opened and bite quick the right hand of the angel without giving the angel the opportunity to free it .

The angel tried to use the other hand to fight back but it was stop by the Eva as he was grabbing it hard.

The Evangelion tried to use the the angel's hand as a leverage to stand up again.

Now they were face to face once more and while Sachiel tried to free himself the Eva used the one horn it had as weapon to impel the angel's flesh and continue biting to the hand with ferocity and anger.

The Evangelion was grabbing the angel's arm so hard that it manage to rip it some seconds later and then push the angel in to some buildings.

Before Sachiel reposition himself the Eva charged again but this time it manage actually push the knife forward to the angel's core. Thus killing the angel for good.

But despite the kill it had assured the Evangelion still continuously stabbed and ripped parts of the agnel apart .It was like it he did it at of pure pleasure and self satisfaction . It felt like the Evangelion took pleasure in angel's pain like it's existence was an offence to his .

As the stabbing and tearing stop the Evangelion grab the remains of the angel and drag them across it's way to return to the Nerv headquarters. Like hunter dragging his trophy back home .

As Shinji dress up and headed to the exit of the Nerv hospital he couldn't help but think the last actions he did last night.

Unlike before where his mother would finish the job for him as a last resort his mother internationally gave him the power he needed to achieve his goal like helping hand not a saviour like last time . He was 100% sure that this was all his doing.

Shinji in his previous life never was an aggressor (the red head was usually the one who fitted that role perfectly) so it took him as a surprise to act this way. But he could still feel the emotions that run through his head that night. Hatred, sadness, pain he could feel even now deep in to his head ready to come out when the find their chance.

"Was I always like that ?" Shinji thought to himself as he didn't remember to have acted this way before. He could feel them like shadow behind his head.

He recalled that the emotions emerged when he remembered that cursed memory. The more he remembered the more he want to scream again.

Evangelions were really dangerous weapons in everyone hands . If the angels were those perfect beings created by God then the Eva were demonic monstrosities created by the Devil itself.

A.N: The reason why I wrote "Daemon" instead of regular " demon" is because the demons in Warhammer 40k they are written as "daemons" ( probably they did it for copyright reasons but it might also have to do with their origin) but for some reason the "a" isn't spell . So after that is cleared would like to say "thank you" to all of you for liking the story didn't dump it because quickly. I didn't expect you guys to like this writing style that much I had the fear that you hated or get confused.
