Chapter 74

Hiccups POV:

I just stepped out of my fantasy mirror after using it for the first time and I had to say I was impressed with what it can do since what was a week for me inside the mirror seemed to be seven seconds outside of it. I had spent that week in the mirror lounging on a cline that rested on a beach with a cold drink in my hand as I watched the waves crash down. I would occasionally go for walks on the beach as I listened to the sweet songs of the birds mixed with the rustling of leaves and waves crashing. It was nice to finally enjoy a little down time with nothing to worry about besides to relax without anyone bothering me. I knew I'd be using this mirror often when I got back from visiting my allies if the people continued to pester me whenever I came to visit. Of course, I soon learnt I wasn't completely alone on the island since there was also a small shack with a bar where a young woman around my age, wearing a more modest ocean blue version of the outfits Madhimaran forced women to wear, was serving drinks. I learnt she always knew what type of drink I wanted and was always too happy to prepare it for me and occasionally bring it to me when I was on the cline. Besides her I occasionally saw other girls wearing outfits like hers but in different colors walking down the beach. They didn't bother me though since the most they did was give me a smile and wave which I was all too happy to return since they didn't bother me like other girls did. As for where I slept I found a small shack with a comfortable bed inside where I was able to spend my nights sleeping or looking up at the stars through a trap door in the roof. I had to say it was relaxing to be able to enjoy things with not a care in the world.

Now I was back in my private study smiling as I looked around and stretched out my limbs. I let out a sigh and made my way out of the room while thinking about how often I'd be using the mirror but I knew I couldn't stay in there forever since I couldn't live all my days in a fantasy world. I needed to be out here in the real world to help those in need, create new things, meet new people, explore new lands and study other civilizations. I knew it could still be a while before I went to any new lands since for now I wanted to enjoy my break from the travelling to new lands only to face off against some sort of evil that's terrorizing the locals. I figured I should just forget travelling and just enjoy some time with my dragons and animals since it has been a while since I last gave Bladewing a nice long back scratching, wrestled a bit with champ, played with Volcana, rested on one of Glacia's tusks as I spoke to her or given my whispering deaths a good teeth brushing. I smiled knowing I was going to have those activities and more fill my days for a while but first I needed to go see my dad and let him know I'm back. I walked out of my study and gave Toothless who was waiting outside for me a pat on the head as I said.

"Let's go see how things are going on Berk bud." He crooned as we walked out of the house.

Berks Great Hall

Nobodies POV:

It was lunchtime on Berk which is a time where those who were not in their own homes enjoying a meal with their families were in the great hall enjoying a meal with their friends. However, the Great Hall was nearly empty due to some a group of people that had arrived on Berk four days ago. This group consisted of a man who reached Stoicks height with the dark brown hair that was braided back; he also had a long straight beard of the same color. He wore a red silk tunic with silver pins that had a devilish dervish dragon imprinted on them holding his black bear cloak onto his shoulders, a gold pendent with the mark of Odin rested on his chest along with golden wristbands and rings. On his right side stood young man with the same dark brown hair tied back in a ponytail while wearing a purple silk tunic, a black wolf fur cloak on his back, golden arm bands around his wrists, a belt with the mark of Thor on the solid gold belt buckle. On the left was a young girl with blond hair that was gently braided back, wearing a light blue dress with whit sleeves that showed off her feminine allure.

These people had an atmosphere of pure arrogance around them that would make the Jorgensons look humble in comparison. The man was Chief Nigren of the Grown Hills tribe of the Silent Forests. (AN: Not a real HTTYD tribe just made them up and if you have a problem with the name cut me some slack I'm doing the best I can since I'm running out of ideas and basically running on fumes here.) The young man next to him was his son and heir Ulrik while the girl was his daughter Freya. Their tribe was one of the wealthy tribes of the archipelago due to them having one of the largest market places in the archipelago where traders came to set up for a fee and a small piece of their profits. The market did earn the tribe's wealth in other ways though as it would often attract multiple visitors from other islands who were eager to do business with the traders. It was because of this that the local businesses of the island thrived since they provided visitors with places to eat, places to sleep, help to carry their stuff, guards since there were always some pickpockets and more. It was for these reasons the tribe was so wealthy and they had no problem showing it.

Sadly, this also led to their arrogance along with their view of other tribes such as Berk to be nothing more than a bunch of shacks and mud roads. This of course led them to be highly disliked in Berk by everyone including Stoick himself but sadly the peace treaty between their two tribes had to be signed which was one of the two reasons Chief Nigren and his children. The second reason they were here is because per their tribal customs Ulrik had reached the age where he'd be looking for a wife and as there were no girls in his tribe who sparked his fancy so he was joining his father in what he called an attempt to find a diamond in the puddles of mud known as the village of Berk. No girl on Berk was interested in him though since besides his snobbish attitude another thing is that they all knew what kind of wife he wanted and it wasn't the type any of them were willing to become. He wanted a good little wife who'd be good arm candy out in public while at home would cook, clean, sow and do what she was told by him. His sister was just like him in the arrogance department believing herself to be better than the common riff raff of Berk and the only reason she had come was because she wanted to meet Hiccup Haddock as the traders had told a lot of stories of him and his adventures. To her he sounded like a dreamy prince with so much power to protect her and give her the life of a queen, the kind of guy she felt she deserved to marry. She was hoping to meet and charm him so he'd start courting her before they settle down for the rest of their lives and live happily ever after. She was rather disappointed to find out he'd left for a couple of days to help out a foreign friend but her family was going to be here for three more days and she was hoping he'd be back within those days so she'd at least know what he looked like and if he really was worth her time.

Presently Stoick was sitting at the main table with Gobber and Spitelout on either side of him while Ulrik and his sister sat across from them while their father did some business. They were all quietly enjoying meals with their eyes on their food except for Ulrik whose eyes were on Astrid who was quietly eating at one of the tables with the other teens. The reason is when he first saw he saw the perfect bride for himself with her beauty and strength since he wanted a wife who could defend herself along with cook, clean and raise the children while he was out doing his chiefly duties. He'd seen she was a vicious warrior when he saw her training but learnt she wasn't looking for any boy to settle down with.

He had tried to charm her which at first, he thought would be no problem as he was the son of a wealthy chief and heir to a very rich tribe, add to the fact that he'd yet to find a girl he hasn't been able to charm on his home island or any other island he liked his chances. Sadly, she shot him down at every turn be he wasn't worried as he was able to turn to his father for help who was now offering a bridal price to her parents and should they turn him down without a valid reason he'd take it as a declaration of war. As for her attitude his father told him how his mother was exactly like that when her and my father first got married but it wasn't a little training by the tribe's women couldn't fix and after a few weeks she hung up her sword to be a housewife and later on a mother. He was sure Astrid would be the exact same as his mother and all the other shield maidens who were married into their tribe. It was then that the doors of the Great Hall were slammed open by a very angry Nigren who stormed in with both of Astrid's parents following behind. Stoick stood up and met with Nigren in the middle of the hall before asking.

"Nigren what's going on?" Nigren gestured to Astrid's parents.

"These two have insulted my family and my tribe!" Stoick raised an eyebrow.

"How so?"

"I offered them a generous bridal price for their daughter and they turned me down."

"Well I'm sure they have an excellent reason." Stoick understood why but he wouldn't dare voice it out loud knowing that telling Nigren his son was an arrogant, stuck-up fool would only result in a war but at the same time he wanted to avoid angering the Hoffersons since they were old friends of the Haddocks.

"They better have an excellent reason or I'll take it as an insult and declaration of war if they don't let my son wed their daughter." Every Berkian shook in fear at this knowing how many allies their tribe had while Ulrik smirked knowing that either way he won before Jacob said.

"The reason she's being courted by someone." Nigren raised an eyebrow.

"Who?" Stoick then blurted out.

"Hiccup!" Everyone turned to Stoick who quickly regained his composure. "My boy has been courting young Astrid for over a month now after he rescued her from Snorre the chief of the Thunderheads who intended to use her for his own sick pleasure." Astrid visibly shuddered at this as Nigren stroked his beard.

"Oh yes I heard about that attack from a trader." He then smiled. "So it's only courting right now?" Jacob chuckled.

"Well it may only be courting now but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into a betrothal soon with how those two act around each other." He turned to Astrid. "Right Astrid?" She gave an uneasy smile.

"Yeah, I'm really crazy about that handsome, dragon riding warrior." Nigren then said.

"Well then does this boyfriend of yours take you on his trips from time to time." Before she could reply Jacob cut in.

"I don't allow it since I trust the lad but I feel his trips are too dangerous for my little girl to go on." He then waved his hands in the air. "Seriously the lad fights monsters, insane magic users, bandits, beasts and Odin knows what else on his trips and you expect me to allow my daughter to join him on these trips when the last trip he returned from cost him an arm?" Nigren turned to him and nodded.

"That's understandable but remind me again why I can't meet the lad now?" Stoick answered.

"He's visiting some foreign place known as Arabia to help out a friend of his."

"And when should he be back?"

"With that boy of mine nobody can ever tell when he'll be back but chances are he'll be gone for another three weeks." Nigren nodded.

"Very well then." He turned to his children. "Well come now children, Ulrik you have sword training in the forest and Freya, you have singing lessons on the ship." With that they left but the second the doors closed Gobber walked up behind Stoick and Jacob before hitting them both on the backs of their heads as he asked.

"Have you two been bludgeoned in the heads too many times?" Jacob answered.

"Gobber I know saying my daughter is courting someone was a mistake but I panic." Gobber just glared and turned to Stoick.

"And what about you Stoick, saying the man she was courting is Hiccup."

"I know Gobber but the Grown Hills tribe are strong with many allies and the last thing we need is to be dragged into a war with their lot."

"And what are you going to do if Hiccup comes back while they're still here?" He smirked. "I'd love to see how you explain everything to Hiccup and then talk him into actually pretending to be in a relationship with Astrid." Stoick sighed and rubbed his temples as Jacob said.

"Oh, come on Gobber what are the odds of Hiccup being back so soon." It was at that moment the doors to the Great Hall opened and a smiling Hiccup followed by Toothless walked in as he said.

"Hey everyone I'm back from Arabia." Everyone stared at him for a moment before Gobber turned to Jacob and said.

"I'd say the chances are pretty darn high." Jacob just turned to him before slowly turned back to a smiling Hiccup.

1 hour later

Hiccups POV:

I was sitting across from my father, Mr. Hofferson, Spitelout, Bucket, Mulch, Sven, Gobber and Astrid but now my father was missing two teeth and Mr. Hofferson had three cracked ribs all of which were caused by the me beating them until Gobber and Spitelout were able to pry me off. I admit I may have gone a little overboard but could you blame me, they just told me that they let a visiting chief and his heir know me and Astrid were courting when I'd never dated anyone in my life. To throw salt into the wound the visiting chief was the stuck-up chief who treated Berk like it was beneath him and his children were the same only now from what I could tell the son has gotten way worse than before. I sighed and leaned back in my chair as Toothless crooned and I asked.

"So please tell me why I should agree to play along with this for three days." Mr. Hofferson answered.

"To avoid a war with a powerful tribe, protect my daughter from life with a jerk and helping out the tribe." I shrugged and stood up.

"Alright but you owe me big time." They nodded before my dad said.

"This does mean you two are going to have to act like a couple." Astrid then said.

"So, meals together, walking through the village hand in hand and cuddling on benches as we whisper into each other's ears?" The men nodded before Gobber said.

"Well that would do nicely but you need to kick it up a bit from time to time to really sell it." I raised an eyebrow.

"Like what?"

"A little kissing, some romantic flights on one of your dragons, maybe quiet picnics, visits to your island-"Before he could continue I cut him off yelling.

"NO!" I slammed my hands against the table. "Nobody is allowed on my island without a good reason." Everyone leaned back in shock at my anger before I took a breath and leaned back. "That island is my own private get away from my past, where I can enjoy a peaceful life without being reminded of the torment I suffered on Berk at the hands of my own people, where I'm able to create without people destroying my hard work before I even get to test it, a place where I can train without people insulting me and laughing at me when I fail-" My dad held up his hand.

"Alright Hiccup we get it, you like your privacy but can't you just allow it this one time?" I look down and squeezed my fists before looking up at them.

"Only if the situation calls for it." They nodded before I stood up. "Well now that that's out of the way I have work to do back on my own island." I began walking to the door but Gobber put a hand on my shoulder stopping me as he said.

"Perhaps it's best you and Astrid take a walk around the village arm and arm as you tell her about your latest trip." I raised an eyebrow to question him. "Nigren and his kids might still be out there so you need to be careful lad." I nodded before he gestured Astrid to come forward but when she reached me I saw she hesitated so I held out my arm towards her and said.

"I don't bite Astrid." She nodded and slowly hooked her arm around mine as we made our way out of the great hall and down to the village as she asked.

"So how was your trip?" I shrugged.

"Oh, you know the usual, just some bandits and stuck up nobles for me to deal with." She looked at me confused.

"Bandits?"

"Yeah they crashed a party that was meant to allow young suitors to try and win the princess's heart after serving all the guards a drink that knocked them out."

"What were they after?"

"Oh, you know the usual stuff such as the valuables the guests were wearing along with the secret locations to the secret treasuries of the kingdoms." She nodded.

"You know you never did say what your friend needed help with."

"She needed help dealing with some arrogant idiots' heirs who planned to get to her father and riches through her." I then remembered why we were doing this. "I'm guessing in the past few days you've had to deal with something similar with Ulrik being here."

"You know Ulrik?"

"From when we were kids and from what I've been told he's only gotten more arrogant over the years."

"So, he's always been this way?"

"No when we were kids he wasn't as bad in comparison to what I've been told he is now."

"He sounds like Snotlout is now."

"Oh no he wasn't that bad." She looked up at me confused. "He was way worse than Snotlout." She giggled at this making me smile. "So, what's his sister like?" She frowned.

"She's like her brother and thinks Berk is nothing but shacks and mud roads."

"I am not looking forward to seeing them again."

"I can understand that but I have a feeling Freya is going to be worse than her brother when it comes to you."

"Why do you say that?"

"She's heard a whole lot of stories about you from the traders and she seems to be pretty eager to meet you." I groaned at this.

"Aw great another fan girl for me to deal with." She looked up at me in concern.

"You don't sound too happy about this."

"Astrid I rarely get any peace when visiting other lands, I've been to due to fan girls swarming me or men wanting to test their skills against me."

"Sounds rough."

"You have no idea."

Nightfall

I was now lying in bed after a long day of talking to Astrid, meeting some of the villagers, helping Gobber in the forge and of course dealing with chief Nigren and his children. Honestly, they were so annoying to deal with and I am not just talking about Ulrik and Freya but their father as well. Nigren was curious about the places I've been to and what the local traders offered along with what currencies they used and if there were any traveling traders. When I told him there were a few places that had traders who would travel he demanded I take him to said places to negotiate with the traders coming to his island from time to time. I turned him down saying it would take too long to get to said places, the majority of the traders only spoke their native tongues and that they wouldn't travel so far from their homes with all the risks. This didn't stop him though since he began pestering me for maps to the places, asking me to take some of his men there to perform as a translator and of course asking me to act as a negotiator to convince them that setting up a trade route would be worth it. I turned him down flat out saying I had enough on my plate as it was but he told me he'd be willing to pay me whatever price I gave but told him I couldn't be bought. He just smiled at this before saying every man has his price and he was going to find out what mine was but his children were bigger pains than he was.

Ulrik was constantly asking me about my dragons, wanting to know how to train them, what the best species was and told me he wanted one to show the power of his tribe. I told him if he planned to make offerings to buy any of my dragons or animals then to save his breath but it was what he said after that made me feel uneasy. He told me he already had a dragon in mind for his mount and just needed me to train it for him but if I was willing to part with Toothless he'd happily take him off my hands. I had to resist the urge to punch him through the wall when he said this but I knew it would be more trouble than it was worth if I went through with the desire.

Then there was Freya who would not leave me alone since the moment she saw me and it was damn annoying for me to deal with. When she saw me sitting at the table alone after Astrid had left to have a quick word with her parents she immediately sat next to me and wrapped her arms around mine greeting me. After that she began begging me to tell her if everything the traders had told her was true about my travels and battles. I asked her to clarify what she had heard and was able to confirm a few of the beasts I had fought but not all of them and sadly the ones I did confirm were enough to get me a smile and a twinkle in her eye that I didn't like one bit. She then asked if I could give her a tour of my island tomorrow but I told her nobody is allowed on my island before she fluttered her eyelashes at me asking if I could make an exception for her. Thankfully Astrid arrived at that time and was able to scare her off which I am grateful for but I knew this wasn't the end of it. For now, though I needed to rest a bit because these next three days are going to be very difficult with the visitors.

Afternoon the next day

I was enjoying a nice peaceful walk through the village with Toothless since Astrid decided to go out into the woods to practice her axe throwing and I accepted that. When she told me this Ulrik was passing by so I called her told her to have fun and be careful before calling her sweetie and kissing her on the forehead. When I pulled away she was going to ask but I gestured to Ulrik who was nearby and she nodded before telling me she would, called me dear and walked off. I was brought out of my thoughts by seeing Ulrik walking towards me with some men who had what looked to be a large crate that was covered by a large wool tarp and being carried on a wagon. Ulrik then walked up to me smiling and said.

"Alright Hiccup I've got the dragon I want and all I need now is for you to train it for me."

"What?" Ulrik signaled the men to pull the tarp off and I froze at the sight of a muzzled and tied up black-scaled dragon with brown horns that I recognized as a devilish dervish in a cage was what was on the wagon.

"My men caught this dragon under my command so it could be my mount but as you can guess the training hasn't been going so well which is why I'm here to hire you to train it for me." I turned away from the dragon to face him.

"Excuse me?"

"Don't worry I'm willing to pay you your weight in gold for your services." He held out a large bag of gold. "This will be an advance on the job." When I saw the bag of gold I felt my blood boil.

"Not interested so let that dragon go."

"Oh come on Hiccup if this isn't enough I'm willing to pay more."

"Why is it that people don't understand that money has no meaning to me?"

"Come now Hiccup in this gold pouch are fifty gold coins." He held it out to me but I just glared and slapped it to the side sending the coins to the floor.

"I don't want your damn money man and there's nothing you can offer that can get me to train you a dragon." He stared at me mouth gaping before smirking.

"Well then how's about a wager." I cocked an eyebrow. "You and me in a sparing match and when I win you train this dragon for me along with handing over your nightfury, you give me and my family a tour of your island along with any animal of yours that interests me and the girl your courting of Astrid Hofferson ends and she becomes my betrothed." I nodded before I said.

"Fine but when I win you hand over that dragon to me, you leave Astrid alone, forget any thoughts on going after her or riding a dragon, you hand over the gold you have, you leave me alone when it comes to training dragons for anyone, your father leaves me alone about setting up new trade routes, you stop insulting Berk, I'll be allowed to come to your island with my dragons and animals and be treated with nothing but respect by your people and the visitors plus when you lose I get to brand the back of your neck to show I've beaten you." He smiled and nodded before I smirked. "Just to make things a little more even I'll also take on any guard you choose to fight alongside you." He was quick to say.

"Done!"

"Old dragon kill ring in two hours, I'll be waiting." He smirked.

"You better be ready to hand over my winnings runt." I just glared.

"I'm going to enjoy branding your neck." Before I looked at the caged dragon and gave it an apologetic look before I turned away and began walking to the old kill ring.

2 hours later

I was standing in the middle of the kill ring with no shirt on or any form of armor unless you counted my prosthetic arm, which was crossed with my real arm in front of my chest or the leather strap across my chest that held a sheath against my back and stabbed into the ground in front of me, was a simple gronkle iron sword. I looked around at the crowd that had come to watch the fight and saw that it was mostly Berkians but there were also some members from the Grown Hills tribe who surrounded the bars. It was then Ulrik holding a sword and a heavily muscled man holding a mace walked through the gates into the ring smiling before noticing my sword and asked.

"Is that the famous star sword I've heard so much about from the traders?" I shook my head and picked up the sword.

"No just a normal gronkle iron sword from my armory but I only brought it incase I'd need to use it in the fight." I picked up and put it in the sheath on my back before getting into my fighting stance. "Let's get this over with quick now because I have better things to do than shut you up."

The muscled guy charged at me with his mace raised as he let out a battle cry while Ulrik stood back and watched with a smile. I just gave him a glare before turning my attention back to the man with a mace who was readying the mace to bring it down on me. I just stood there calmly as he raised his mace behind his back but as he got closer I kneeled down and used my prosthetic to punch him in the gut. He dropped his mace behind his back as he fell to his hands and knees trying to catch his breath. I looked down at him as he looked up glaring at me before I asked.

"Did you honestly think it'd be that easy?" I then raised my foot and brought it down on his head in a downward kick knocking him out cold before I turned Ulrik who was now staring at me with a gaping mouth. "So are you just going to stand there gaping like an idiot or actually do something?" He growled before charging at me with his sword at the ready as I sighed. "So predictable!"

I just drew my swords and used it to block the oncoming blow and snapped the sword in two without even moving from where I was standing. Ulrik looked at his now broken sword as I pointed my prosthetic fist at his gut before launching it sending both him and my fist that was lodged in his gut into the wall leaving a dent in it. He was down for the count as I reeled my arm back while silence filled the area before I heard my dad laugh and then yelling.

"That's my boy!" He then let out another chuckle. "Took down his opponents without even moving from the spot he was standing in." Everyone then cheered as I made my way to deal with the crowds and collect my prizes that were waiting for me on the other side of the bridge that lead to the ring.

2 days later

I was going beyond insane with everything that I've had to deal with these last two days. Ever since my victory against Ulrik and his man I had almost nearly gotten no peace in the village whatsoever from both my tribe and the Grown Hills. The Berkian and Grown Hills tribe adults all wanted to put themselves up against me again more than ever, the teens were begging me for advice on combat, most of the children were each begging me to take them on as an apprentice once more. Then there was Ulrik who continued to bug me for a rematch even after I branded the back of his neck when he first demanded one. He had kept his word about leaving Astrid alone and didn't bother me about training dragons for him or anyone.

His father had also lived up to his own side of the deal and stopped pestering me to help set up trade routes between his tribe and foreign lands. Sadly he was now trying to talk me into being a bodyguard for his daughter since there were often kidnapping attempts on her and when he wasn't trying to convince me to be a bodyguard he was trying to convince me to move to his island and train his men as a general who he was willing to pay a weekly salary of my weight in gold. I of course turned him down but that didn't stop him from pestering me about it but Freya was worse.

She'd never leave me alone and constantly be at my side whenever I was alone with just my dragons. She constantly pestered me for details on my arms capabilities, what my hobbies are, where I learnt to fight and more. Then there was her constant flirting with her constant eye-flutters, sweet-talking, compliments, begging me to take her to my island, her sticking to my sides, the constant gifts of baked goods, telling me how people think she'd make a good wife and more. I tried telling her that I was happily in a relationship with Astrid but she'd just say how a guy like me deserved a women who would actually be there for him at all times but I pushed her off telling her that Astrid knows I like my space. Of course I wasn't the only one who was suffering at her hands since she was also annoying Astrid. She constantly asked her if her and me were having any problems, asking what I saw in her, if she'd been to my island and when she found out that the answer was negative she'd tease Astrid about it. Fortunately Astrid replied that she knew how much I liked my privacy and space and she both respected and accepted that about me.

As for the Devilish Dervish who is now named 'Reaper' due to his scythe like tail was now happily living on my island but his training was not easy. I had to use the flute I got from the Hindu gods to calm him down when I first let him out of the cage after I freed him from the restraints. Seriously the second he was free from his cage he tried to maul me to death but Champ tackled him to hold him while I played my flute to calm him. Even after that it took a few hours to train him so I could get close to him without being snapped at. Still I was training him to help gather wood and harvest some crops like my wheat that would be ready for harvest in three more weeks and I hoped to have him trained by that time.

Now I was on the dock smiling at the sight of the Grown Hills tribes ship sailing off into the distance with the Chief Nigren and his people on it. Berk was finally free of those stuck-up tribes people while Astrid and I were free of pretending to be a couple. For me this meant I could enjoy full days on my island once more without the need to spend most of my days on Berk with Astrid at my side for the most of that time. Sadly before they left Freya told me when I finally decided to drop Astrid or as she referred to her the, nobody girl that I knew where to find her before giving me a kiss on the cheek and boarding the ship. Her father told me to consider his offers and then boarded the ship while his son just gave me a glare before rubbing the brand on the back of his neck as he boarded the ship. As soon as their ship was out of sight I smiled before looking up at the sky and sighing as I said.

"Finally!" Everyone turned to me. "It felt like they'd never leave!" I felt a hand land on my shoulder and turned to see my dad.

"I know it's tough dealing with those kinds of people son but it's all part of being chief."

"I know but you just made it more difficult with that role you got me to play." It was then Mr. Hofferson walked up.

"Well I'm glad you played along Hiccup and I can never repay you for what you've done for my family." I looked at him and shrugged.

"Don't mention it." It was then I smiled. "By the way-" I grabbed both him and my father by their beards and yanked them down so they were eye level as I glared at them and growled. "If you two ever drag me into a situation like this again then so help me I will drag you both into the middle of the Arabian desert and leave you there with nothing but a small flask of camel urine for sustenance, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?" They both quickly nodded before I gave a single nod. "Good!" I then shoved them both off the dock and into the water where Gobber looked from them to me before he said.

"Lad, you really need to get your anger under control." I smiled at him.

"Now where's the fun in that?" I then began walking down the dock only to be cut off by Astrid who was looking down and rubbing her arm. "Is there something wrong Astrid?" She looked up at me.

"I just wanted to say thanks for pretending to be my boyfriend."

"Don't worry about it Astrid, I know the feeling of dealing with people like Ulrik."

"Well still I did enjoy spending some of that time with you." She pulled me forward and kissed me on the lips shocking me before pulling away. "That's for all the help you gave me." I just stood there wide-eyed as she turned around and ran but when she was out of sight I shook my head.

"I'll never understand women." Gobber walked up and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Lad they are a mystery to all us men so don't try to figure them out since the only thing you'll get out of it is a headache." I nodded before I mounted Toothless and we took off to do what was needed back on my island.

AN: Hey all I hope you liked the chapter and if you didn't then I'm sorry but I'm running on fumes here with the ideas as I said before. I'm thinking it might be time to begin Race to the edge or travel to a new land and I have put up a Poll for you to vote on so please vote. Keep in mind though if I start on Race to the Edge I will skip a few episodes for obvious reasons and if it's travel to a new land then write down where you want to see him go in either a review or PM me. Also I've been looking back at some of the ideas I had and noticed some holes in one involving the Stormcutter Cyclone so I'm going to go back and rewrite those chapter this weekend but only change it to make Cyclone a girl and if you have any name ideas let me know. Till next time, have a great day and enjoy life to the best of your abilities and don't forget VOTE ON THE POLL BECAUSE YOU ONLY HAVE TILL MONDAY EVENING!
