Kurt pulled into the parking lot of Scandals, he looked around and noticed several different vehicles but did not see a minivan. He did see a car that he recognized, and it was Sam.
"Kurt, I'm glad you called me" Sam said.
"I'm glad you can make it." said Kurt.
Kurt remembered that Sam was dating Quinn who had a very early curfew because she got pregnant last year. Sam hadn't asked too many questions about what they were doing there, he knew Kurt had heard of this place from someone. Sam understood he was there for backup after what it happened to Kevin, he understood that Kurt might not want to go to some places alone. Sam and Kurt went inside the bar. Kurt looked around trying to remember who exactly he was looking for; a teenage a boy tall with brown hair. That happened to describe a lot of people that were there.
"Let's get something to drink before we hit the dance floor." Sam suggested.
Kurt and Sam both ordered Diet Cokes. Kurt's eyes wandered around the room, he thought Sam was trying to talk to him, but he wasn't paying any attention. Instead, he was focusing on who was on the dance floor. Someone stood out, he took a step forward to be just a little bit closer. He knew he recognized this boy; it was David Karofsky. Sam saw who Kurt was looking at and his eyes widened in surprise at who it was.
"Karofsky? What is he doing here?" Sam asked.
Kurt asked Sam: "Did you watch Brittany's Internet show?"
Sam said: "I saw the show, but I'm still surprised to see him here. Did you know he is gay? You don't seem that surprised."
Kurt replied: "I may have."
A teenage boy approached, who was tall with brown hair and green eyes, and asked Kurt to dance. Kurt said yes and then other boy grabbed his hand and took him to the dance floor. Sam watched Kurt and the other boy dance. Sam wanted to keep eyes on him the entire time, but he had something else he wanted to do as well so he headed in the other direction. The green-eyed boy started grinding up against Kurt, so Kurt started to move away. Somehow Kurt found himself up against the wall and the other boy was now putting his hands on his shoulder.
He was about to whisper in his ear when someone pulled him off Kurt and said: "I'm going to borrow him"
The other boy said: "No, I don't think so."
Sam said: "Yes, I am. Come on I have something I want to show you" he said to Kurt.
They went into the bathroom and Kurt asked Sam: "What do you want to show me?"
Sam showed him a cell phone with a video on it. The video was of the homecoming assembly and it showed Kevin walking into the is auditorium with Amy Wilson following behind. Kurt couldn't tell what Kevin was talking about to Amy, but then she ran off and Kevin sat down by himself.
Kurt asked: "Is this your phone? If not, then how did you get it and whose is it?"
Sam was about to tell Kurt where he got the phone when the bathroom door barged opened and a big guy asked with three people behind him said angrily: "What are you doing with my phone?"
"Yes, where did you get his phone and what are you doing here with him?" asked the green-eyed boy, who was one of the people standing behind the big guy. Kurt looked at Sam and then looked at David Karofsky and Sebastian Smite and what was obviously some of his other friends.
