Dave, Sam, Sebastian, and Kurt stood outside of Scandals for a few minutes trying to decide where to go. They ended up going to Jack's house, Sebastian's cousin, which was a weird choice since two of them had never been there. Sam had two younger siblings they didn't want to wake up, and no one wanted Kurt going home to his house by himself on the odd chance Puck might show up there like he said.

Jack's house was big, there was plenty of room for them all to sleep. Jack's parents wouldn't care who showed up as long as Sebastian was with them, they knew about what happened to Kevin. They were very understanding people. Soon afterwards the boys were in the large living room, laying on to two foldout couches. Sam had insisted on sleeping in the same room as Kurt, there was no way he was leaving either Sebastian or Dave to be alone with Kurt. They all tried sleeping but they were just too wide-awake because all that had happened. David was the first to break this silence and finally say something.

"Do you think there's any chance any of us will sleep?"

Kurt replied, "I don't see that happening."

Dave said, "In that case, I got a question for you Sam?"

Sam replied, "Okay I think we all have questions, but I guess I'll answer yours first."

David asked, "Are you and Kurt together, are you gay?"

Sam answered, "No I'm straight, I'm with Quinn."

David said, "Since we all seem to be answering questions honestly and I'm feeling brave enough to ask today. Kurt did you see me on Brittany's show? What did you think?"

Kurt responded, "I was very surprised with Brittany. Really not what I expected her Internet show to be like. Dave, I knew it took a lot for you to go on her show. You have come so far but you had been out for less than a day then you ask me out. I am flattered, but all last year you bullied me and that continued up until less than a week ago. You said you were friends with Puck up until what, an hour ago. When did you know exactly what he did to Kevin? Did you know before you went on the show? Did you know when you asked me to play football with him?"

David replied, "On Tuesday, after I knocked your phone out of your hand and before Puck picked up the phone and went to go find Kevin, Puck asked me if I was going over to Jack's and were any of the other football players going to be there. That's not unusual for all the football players to want to know who's coming before they all decide to go. I think maybe he wanted to make sure I had an alibi. I didn't know what he was going to do. He didn't say if you got plans, I am going to beat up Kevin. There were only a couple things that made me think it was Puck. On the day we all found out that Kevin was in the hospital all the football players showed some sort of concern, even Adams who doesn't like Kevin. The other thing was, one day I heard Finn telling Puck that you been questioned by the police and as soon as Puck walked away from Finn, he laughed, I should've known then." David stopped talking for a minute and the room was silent.

Then David said, "Puck wasn't the nicest guy in the world, but we've been friends, or I thought we were friends for a long time. Even when he was blackmailing me, I never thought he would go that far. Did you? He was friends with your friends, and he is best friends with Finn, and your friends with Finn now."

Kurt replied, "Last year Puck was bullying me, he even threw balloons with pee in them at me and threw me in the dumpsters. I didn't think anything would surprise me, but then he joined the glee club, dated Rachel, and apologized. Well, at least to her, then Puck dated Mercedes. After that, he started sticking up for me with some of his friends. I thought Puck had changed, or that Puck wasn't a complete Neanderthal anymore. I guess some people don't change they don't get any better, they get worse."

Sam said, "I don't know Puck all that well. Finn told me that He, Puck and some of the other football players used to bully Kurt, some of the other members of the glee club, and a lot of the other kids at school. He also said that Finn and Puck did not do that anymore. I never would've been friends with someone who would be that mean to someone else for no reason. I didn't realize that Puck and Finn were that bad, I'm sorry you went through that Kurt."

Sebastian said, "I'm going to ask the questions David and I want to know the answers to. Kurt are you really going to go out with Kevin when he gets out of the hospital? Are you only interested in an exclusive relationship with Kevin or somebody else because you can date Kevin, Dave and Me? It doesn't bother me if it doesn't bother you."

Kurt responded, "I don't think I've had more than three conversations with Kevin, none of which I had known that he was gay. From the policeman, I've found out that he texted me to meet him and to go on possibly a date. Now I'm supposed to figure out if I want to date one of three boys or all three boys who I don't really know."

David replied, "It's not like I want to marry you tomorrow or need a huge commitment. Jack is talking about having a big dance party here if we win the championship game in three months. I'd like to have somebody dance with."

Sebastian said, "I'm have a having a New Year's Eve party, you're all invited. Most of my friends will be bringing their girlfriends and boyfriends, I'd like to have someone there who is my date too. He doesn't have to be my exclusive boyfriend or anything. I would like someone who would kiss me at midnight."

Kurt was silent because he had to think about this. He thought about it for a while before he finally spoke.
