It's My Life ※

"Lily, I must be going deaf," exclaimed an incredibly dumbfounded individual known as James Potter. "Because it sounded like you just told me to have sex with this, admittedly attractive, young lady."

The incredibly attractive and equally voluptuous redhead known as Lily Potter (née Evans) rolled her emerald colored eyes while retorting, "Why yes, that's exactly what I want you to do."

"But Lis, she can't possibly be any older than fourteen!" James protested.

This time it was the incredibly attractive and improbably voluptuous raven-haired girl who rolled her eyes while retorting, "I'm actually over five hundred years old, but only just barely."

"Wha–?" James gasped in shock.

"Oh, where are my manners," Lily remarked. "James, allow me to introduce you to Lady Serafall Leviathan."

"As in the Humanoid Jökulhlaups?" James queried in an awestruck tone of voice.

"What's a Jaukolhops?" Lily queried in honest confusion, having never heard the term before in her entire life.

"It's an Icelandic word, and it refers to a natural phenomenon with remarkably similar effects to my most devastating spell." Serafall admitted. "Which means the nickname truly does suit me."

"Right then," James muttered while glancing back and forth between the two women. "It would be my personal honor to service you this fine evening, even if only so you won't turn me into a eunuch before I ever get a chance to sleep with my wife."

"Lily, are you sure this will work?" Serafall inquired as she began undressing herself.

"Of course it'll work. The only question is just how well it will work." Lily admitted as she too began undressing.

"Wait, both of you, at once?" James questioned as his eyes bugged out. His surprise was quickly overcome by a goofy grin as he grabbed his wand and pointed it at himself while exclaiming, "Multicorfors!"

Lily frowned as she turned to watch as her husband's work robes began altering themselves into the form of a… "Where on Earth did you learn about such outfits, James?"

Serafall took a glance over her shoulder, only to fall onto the bed and begin rolling around in mirth, "Bondage gear?! That is totally not my kink!"

"Well, you see…" James started to say even as he began unfastening the nearest buckle.

It had been nine months since anyone in Wizarding Britain had seen James and Lily Potter, as they had seemingly dropped off the face of the planet after their shared encounter with Serafall Leviathan. In fact, the only reason they hadn't been classified a casualty in the Wizarding Civil War, was because Voldemort would have wanted to make their deaths as public and gruesome as he possibly could.

Naturally, this meant Sirius Black was quite confused and just as worried when he got a Floo Call from his best mate, James Potter. "Where the devil have you been, Prongs?!"

"Where the devil, indeed." James Potter muttered, more to himself than to his friend. "How've you been, Padfoot?"

"I thought you were dead, and all you can think to do, is ask me how I've been?" Sirius protested. "I'll ask it again, where the ruddy hell have you been?"

"We've been staying in a cottage located in Godric's Hollow…"

"What's the Floo address?" Sirius queried.

"It doesn't have one," James admitted with an amused smirk aliting on his face.

"You can't be serious…"

"I could never be as Sirius as you, but in this one instance I am telling you the God's honest truth." James remarked, while repressing his urge to snort in amusement when he heard a masculine squawk of pain coming from the room behind him.

"In that case, I'll meet you in the town square in five minutes…"

"Or you could just floo to Saint Mungo's as soon as I cut the connection," James admitted.

"Wha–?" Sirius started to say as his eyes began bugging out once more due to a combination of fear, horror and shock. Unfortunately he wasn't able to finish his question because James cut the Floo connection as soon as he saw Sirius' facial features contorting in the way they now were.

"That ruddy bastard!" Sirius exclaimed as he grabbed a pinch of Floo Powder and threw it into his fireplace. He promptly cried out the name of his destination and stepped through, "Saint Mungo's!"

"You aren't a very nice person, are you?" inquired a rather tall man with shoulder length crimson hair, bluish-green eyes and aquiline facial features. The question merely caused James to roll his eyes while making a hasty retreat from the floo aperture, with Sirius establishing his own connection mere seconds after his friend was out of collision range.

"Where is she?! What happened?!" Sirius exclaimed almost as soon as he had reached the hospital lobby.

"Well you see, when two grown-ups like each other a whole lot, they take their clothes off and perform a magic dance…" James admitted in an incredibly amused tone of voice.

While Sirius had been annoyed and worried when he first arrived, James' admission caused him to feel a quick sense of confusion that was soon overtaken by joy, "You gave Lily an Elvendork?"

Sirzechs Lucifer emitted a mirthless chuckle as he said, "It would be in your best interest to come up with a different nickname for the new Potter heiress before we reach the maternity ward."

Sirius nodded in understanding, before turning to scowl at Sirzechs and demanding, "Who the devil are you supposed to be?"

Sirzechs smirked and said, "It seems you already know exactly who I am. Now shall we be on our way?"

Sirius turned to glare at James and opened his mouth, only to be interrupted before he could start, "Your cousin Andromeda is who just delivered my first-born daughter."

Sirius gulped in worry as he said, "After you."

"Good man," James agreed as they began walking towards the stairs leading up to the First Floor, which housed both the Creature-Induced Injuries and Maternity Wards. The proximity of these two wards made sense when you considered that there are actually several different magical creatures who are capable of interbreeding with human beings, such as Giants, Veela, Werewolves and of course, Devils.

Serafall Leviathan glanced up as her daughter's father entered her recovery room, followed closely by another individual that looked far too serious for his own good. She then proceeded to blink owlishly at James when the man spoke, "Padfoot, allow me to introduce you to my Lady Titania, her friend Lord Oberon, and of course you already know the enchanting Peaseblossom."

"We're still undecided on whether Eirlys is Cobweb, Moth or Mustardseed," admitted a far too amused Lily Potter.

Sirius rolled his eyes and exclaimed, "You two are daft if you think I'm letting you call my new cousin one of those nicknames!"

"Eh?" Lily questioned, "But it fits with the whole mischief-making theme you four had going on in school, doesn't it?"

Sirius rolled his eyes and enunciated the words, "Eira Wen a'r Saith Corrach."

"Well yes," Serafall admitted, "I did draw inspiration from that title and the Evans family naming theme when deciding what to call my little Snow White."

"Snow White then," James agreed. "I can live with that."

A bright flash of pink light erupted within the front garden of the Potter family's cottage in Godric's Hollow, with Serafall sort of fading into existence inside of the semi-permanent teleportation glyph located beneath her quickly materializing body. The visual effect greatly resembled the Energy-to-Matter aspect of a Subspace Transporter from Star Trek.

She wasted no time in entering the family's home after regaining control of her body, but came up short when she saw what Voldemort had done to her daughter's father. The monster, and she used that term loosely, who called himself a 'Dark Lord' had somehow managed to replicate the process known as Drawing and Quartering using nothing more than his spell arsenal.

James may very well have lived long enough to watch as his entrails were lit on fire, but he certainly didn't survive having his heart pierced with an iron stake, and there was no possible hope of reincarnating the man without first locating his head, which must have been hit with a reductor curse. "Dammit, James! You just had to go and jinx yourself, didn't you?"

That was when Serafall heard the shouting coming from the next floor. Shouting which was accompanied by the bawling of not one, but two, upset and terrified baby girls. Serafall quickly ascended the steps so that she could reach the family's nursery.

"I'm not letting you take the girls, Hagrid!" exclaimed Sirius Black as he stood between the crib containing his two goddaughters and the truly massive individual who answered to the name of Rubeus Hagrid.

"Then yer leave me with no other choice," Hagrid admitted with a sorrowful expression as he brought one of his hands up in preparation to deliver a decisive blow to the much smaller and far more fragile wizard, only for his eyes to bug out when a small and delicate object impacted the back of his knee, causing him to lose his balance and fall on his rear end. "Wha–?"

"Titania, fancy seeing you here," Sirius greeted in a worried tone of voice.

"I'm not allowing either one of you to kidnap my goddaughters!" exclaimed a truly irate Devil King.

"But Dumbledore sent me!" Hagrid protested.

"I don't care who sent you!" Serafall countered as she walked up to the cradle holding the girls and began casting diagnostic charms on them, which is what allowed her to discover the presence of a magical signature she had never encountered before. The problem was that this parasite had latched itself onto Lily's daughter, Rose Potter, instead of attempting to connect with the girl whose date of birth actually did match the terms of Sybill Trelawney's ridiculous prophecy.

"The Headmaster's already made arrangements ter have the girls live with Lily's sister…"

"Then you can go ahead and leave so as to inform the Headmaster that I'll be filing a grievance against him at the next available opportunity," Serafall informed the man as she pulled the girls into a mother's embrace and turned to face the two men. "Unless you think you can stop me from leaving with the girls?"

"Er, well…" Hagrid started to say, only for a low guttural growl to be heard from outside the house, informing the two men that Serafall had not come here alone, and that her companion had clearly heard what she had just said. "Now that I think about it, it would be best if I reported ter the Headmaster."

Serafall watched as the other man quickly Apparated away, before turning to glare at Sirius and asking, "What of you, Black?"

"I wasn't planning on stopping you from leaving with the girls." The man admitted. "In fact, my only reason for being here was to ensure you were able to collect them before any nosy busibodies helped themselves to your daughters. Now that you have them though, I do have one loose end to tie up."

A very bemused Serafall watched as Sirius apparated away to who knows what location so that he could pursue whatever course of action it was that he had just mentioned to her. Sighing to herself, Serafall quickly made her way over to the fallen form of Lily Potter and enacted a teleportation glyph over the woman that took all four of them back to her manor in the Underworld.

Build Comments: This stands as the prologue for an idea that has been flitting around in my head for some time now. Serafall would have ended up being quite OOC in this idea, had I been able to continue it past the prologue, but that is largely due to the maturity one needs in order to raise their own kids. Lily may or may not have been brought back as Serafall's Queen, as I am unsure how I planned on playing that out, but if I did bring her back, she would have been relegated to a role similar to Grayfia in the Sitri family due to the complications involved with having family for the Maou.
