Chapter 129

Hiccups POV:

It's been four weeks since I returned from Camelot and those weeks have been pretty busy with all that's happened to me since I got back starting with dealing with my parents. When I got back they were anything but happy with me since the last they saw of me I was flying through the portal arch at the bazaar to go up against some threat. When they heard how I was enslaved they were not happy and they weren't any happier to hear that I got pulled into yet another life risking adventure. When I told them this I didn't think my mom would ever let me go from the hug she pulled me into out of worry and relief that I was alive. When that was over with my dad made sure to drill it into my head that I was not to leave the archipelago for at least two weeks since whenever I did I ended up in some life or death adventure. I didn't agree with him on that matter but with everything that's happened I was happy to agree to stick to my island and Berk for a couple of days for some down time.

With my down time I'd spent most of my time just relaxing while enjoying my days and catching up on my work which involved mostly catching up on projects I'd been meaning to work on. First thing I did however was take care of my souvenirs from my latest trips by putting the glass orb containing the rose that formed the demon Arbutus and the shoulder pad of Ruber on marble pedestals in the trophy room where they belonged. I'd released the scorpion automaton in my desert to run tests on it from time to time but mostly just because I didn't have anywhere to store it. The bottomless water skin however rested in my vault with my god made weapons. The gold Arthur gave me now rested in the vault where I stored currency and the chest in the vault where I kept the other chests. I'd also cleared a place in my garden for the rose and bed of flowers that was once Hadasa since I wanted a place where I knew they wouldn't be disturbed but still got plenty of sun and water. I ended up choosing a spot in the back surrounded by roses where I'd originally been planning to put a statue but never got around to it while tending my plants.

Speaking of plants, I'd been working on the plant seeds I got from the forbidden forest but I didn't grow them in my garden since these plants were not plants that I was growing to enjoy on my walks. For these plants I built a new section of the green house where I grow my crops but the two sections were separated by a glass wall with a door allowing access to it. This section of the green house was large which isn't surprising considering the plants I was growing here that may prove helpful in the future and was completed a week after I got back. I had three rows of ten of the flying plants with the petals that rapidly spin allowing them to fly, two rows of six of the punching pods as I like to call them and three rows of ten bushes with the healing leaves. Thanks to the pipes given to me by Pan they were growing quickly and healthy so by the end of the second week of my return they were all fully-grown. Gothi and the other village healers had already been ordering up healing leaves after I told the village what they were capable of and gave a demonstration of their power.

Sadly, with the amount they were ordering it would strip my bushes bare and once I told them this most of the healers accepted that they'd need to be patient. It was because of this we worked out a system in which after every harvest I'd bring them each a box of the leaves with each holding the same amount of leaves. Most of them accepted this but some of them with apprentices who were close to my age hoped to get a bit extra through their apprentices since the leaves made their jobs easier. Now when I entered the village I had to deal not only deal with Ruffnuts flirting but also the sweet talk of the healer's apprentices in an attempt to get a few extra leaves or their own bushes to grow their own leaves.

Along with my little gardening project I'd been helping look after Lumie and Arctic to help form a bond with them and I could tell they were happy to have me back if how when they pounced on me in joy when they first saw me was anything to go by. I did also spend some time joining my ninjas at the shrine in my bamboo forest meditating with Nagareboshi laying behind me to help me feel more at peace while Beruto~ūsu and Dōgame supplied a gentle tune for the meditation. I'd used the meditation time to center my mind, plan my next trip, and come up with new ideas for automatons and to try figure out the island where I could find the foreverwing. I'd gone over multiple maps trying to find where it slept but to no avail, I wasn't going to let the lack of results stop me though since I knew it was out there somewhere and I'd find it.

Presently it was morning and I'd just finished breakfast and was now on Toothless, making my way to Berk after my dad sent me a message via arrow claiming he needed to see me immediately to talk about something. When we arrived, we landed in the middle of the village and began making our way up to the great hall where I knew I could find my father. I walked in only to find my father sitting at a table locked in an arm-wrestling match with none other than Chief Mogaden. On my father's side was my mom, Gobber and Spitelout while on Mogaden's side was Thuggory holding hands with a girl by his side. The girl had long brown hair tied back in two braids that reached the end of her shoulder blades, brown eyes and wearing a yellow tunic with no sleeves and a brown skirt with brown fur boots. Standing at the end of the table much to both my happy surprise was none other than my Aunt Hildegard and Uncle Bjork but the biggest surprise was sitting on my uncles' shoulders was a child. He had brown hair with blue eyes, wearing a brown tunic with dark green pants and brown fur boot and was holding onto uncle Bjorks forehead as he watched the arm-wrestling match.

Seeing the arm wrestling match, I rolled my eyes at the sight knowing how competitive the two chiefs were before I walked up to the table with everyone staring at the match. I could see the veins in their arms pumping as they struggled to overpower the other and being so engrossed in it they didn't even realize I was there while everyone else focused on the competition. I rolled my eyes knowing how intense these competitions can be so it's no surprise how engrossed people can get when watching them. I decided to just watch since I'm curious to see who would win and I knew better then to get between the two chiefs when competing since when Gobber made that mistake he ended up with his remaining hand broken and me needing to be his hands in forge for a week.

10 minutes later

They'd been arm wrestling for what I believe is a new record in arm wrestling time with neither giving the other any leverage but I could tell they were finally beginning to tire out. It was then my dad finally pushed Mogaden's hand down winning the arm-wrestling match and bringing it to an end at last. My father stood up cheering as he yelled out.

"I WIN, I AM VICTORIOUS, I AM-"I decided it best to cut him off there and said.

"Going to give me a headache if you don't stop yelling." Everyone jumped in shock and turned to me as my father said.

"Hiccup!"

"Yes Hiccup, you're the one who called me here claiming it was urgent and I doubt it was to witness an arm-wrestling match."

"I'm sorry son we just got so wrapped into it that we forgot you were here." Before I could reply Aunt, Hildegard cut in and said.

"We can discuss that later but for now young man, come and give your old aunt a hug." She opened her arms up as I smiled and rolled my eyes before walking up and giving her a hug.

"Hello to you to aunt Hildegard." My uncle Bjork then said.

"What no hello for your uncle." I rolled my eyes. "No need to hug though since I don't want this little warrior falling off." He gestured to the boy on his shoulders. "Speaking of which." He lifted the child off his shoulders and cradled him in his arms. "Hiccup, meet your baby cousin Iron Will or Will for short." I smiled down at little Will and said.

"Hello there, Will it's nice to meet you." He just stared at me mouth gaping as he stared in me in what looked like awe making his parents chuckle as Uncle Bjork said.

"Sorry Hiccup, we've been telling him all about the adventures you told us about and the traders who come by often talk about your newest exploits so to him you're a big hero." He then looked at my arm. "I did hope that some parts of the stories weren't true." I rubbed my prosthetic arm.

"Some things have to be sacrificed for the greater good."

"Truer words were never said." He shook his head. "Anyway, we've been meaning to come and visit you but things have been busy in our village so when Mogaden told us he was coming we jumped at the opportunity." He then turned to my mom smiling. "It was a nice surprise to see my sister alive and healthy after all this time." My mom smiled back as I looked at the two siblings before I put on a straight face.

"Not that I don't enjoy reunions but I doubt Mogaden would come all this way for one." He nodded.

"True Hiccup but I believe it best that Mogaden tells you why we're here himself." We turned to face him only to see both chief Mogaden and my dad gone but before I could ask Gobber said.

"While you and your uncle were talking they left to do a boar catching contest." I rolled my eyes.

"What is it with those two and their rivalry."

"Don't ask me lad, they were this way long before I met either of them." It was then Thug walked up to me with the girl on his arm.

"Well with our fathers occupied I suppose I'll have to explain why we're here but I believe introductions are needed." He gestured to the girl. "Hiccup Haddock, I'd like to introduce you to Faye the most amazing girl I've ever met and my betrothed." I smiled hearing Thug had found someone as he turned to the girl now known as Faye. "And Faye, this is Hiccup Haddock heir of Berk and you know the rest from the tales of the traders."

"Nice to meet you Faye." She smiled.

"And it's an honor to meet you Mr. big time adventuring hero." I chuckled at this before I said.

"Please don't call me that, I'm just a guy who gets sucked into trouble whenever he visits some new land." We all chuckled at this before I turned to Thugorry. "So, what brings you Meatheads to Berk?" Thuggory then frowned.

"We actually came to ask you for your help." I raised an eyebrow.

"My help?"

"You see a group of our men have gone missing after they went on a fishing trip."

"Did you guys send out a search party?"

"First thing we did when they didn't come back but then the search party went missing."

"So, you guys want me to check it out?" He shrugged.

"Dad says since you've gone up against impossible odds before it should be easy for you." I raised an eyebrow. "And he said that you'd be well paid for bringing our people back safe and unharmed." I sighed as I looked down shaking my head before looking back at him.

"Keep the pay and give me the information on where these peoples ships were last seen." He smiled.

"Knew we could count on you." He pulled out a bag and set it on the table before he let go of Faye and began pulling out a map of some waters I hadn't explored. "This is a map of the waters where our people do the fishing and disappeared." I took the map.

"Give me some time to study the area along with making preparations and I shall be on my way." He smiled.

"Thank you Hiccup." Before I could reply I felt a tug at my hand and looked down to see little Will pulling at it making me smile as I kneeled down.

"And what can I do for you little man?" He looked up at me shyly as he asked.

"Can I see your island?" I smiled but before I could reply Aunt Hildegard picked him up and said.

"Now Will, your cousin has to prepare for a long journey so we shouldn't bother him right now." I saw Will look down in disappointment so I put my hand on his head making him turn to me as I said.

"Don't worry cuz, I'll solve this problem as quick as I can and when I get back then I'll take you to my island, give you a full tour and introduce you to all my dragons and animals." He smiled at this.

"Really?"

"I promise." I then stepped back. "But for now, I need to go and do a job for your chief." I then walked up to the map as Aunt Hildegard spoke to Will about it being his nap time before she walked out as I chuckled hearing him complain about how he isn't sleepy while I looked at Thuggory. "So, what can you tell me about the area where the ships disappeared?"

Afternoon

I was once again on the ocean on my ship sailing towards the area where the ships had disappeared and saw nothing but ocean. As I looked over the waters I went over everything Thuggory had told me about the waters where the men had disappeared. From what he could tell me, the Meatheads had been fishing in the area for generations with no problems other than a stray dragon flying past but they mostly left the ships alone unless the fishermen attacked them. Along with this the only island that was nearby was completely uninhabited with no humans, animals and not even dragon for some reason. The island had been given the name 'Slumbering woods' for some unknown reason but I knew this island warranted further investigation but only after the mystery of the disappearances is solved. On my team was simply Toothless since if it was a rogue dragon then he could simply activate his alpha mode and we could transfer them to the nest.

I looked around at the wide-open waters not seeing any sign of a dragon or anything until my eyes landed on something in the distance. I activated my eagle eye and got a better look at what was coming only to see two large ships sailing towards me fast and if how the men were all pulling out their weapons was any indication they weren't friendly. I figured they were the ones who were behind the disappearances or at least had an idea of who was and decided to stick around to see what happens. I signaled Toothless to get below deck since I didn't want them to realize who I was too soon or they might try to make a run for it and that's the last thing I wanted since I wanted to get this problem solved fast. I walked up to the ships mast and leaned back against it and waited until the ships were on either side of my own before the gangplanks were dropped while a man yelled out.

"BOARD THE SHIP LADS AND CLAIM IT FOR GRIZZLY FIST!" Multiple men boarded and surrounded me but I didn't flinch as a man with a bit of brown stubble wearing a ram horn helmet walked up smiling. "Smart move not resisting lad, you just made things easier for us to take the ship and easier for you." I looked at him.

"I take it you're the ones responsible for the disappearing ships." He smirked.

"Smart lad but brains aren't going to get you out of this mess."

"If you don't mind me asking, what is it you intend to do to me?"

"Oh, you'll be joining the other fools who we captured in the digging operation on Slumbering woods'."

"Digging for what?" He shrugged.

"Don't know but Grizzly Fist isn't the type of guy you wish to anger so we just do as we say." I nodded.

"Thanks for the info, you just saved me a lot of time and trouble."

I then smirked as I willed my ship to attack them and before the commander could react ropes from all around my deck came to life and attacked the men, tying them up as their comrades began to panic. I chuckled as they all began to run back for their own ships but the ropes grabbed them and pulled them back onto the ship and wrapping them up. When the crews on the ships began to pull away I willed my ship to pull back so they could be pulled in and captured with their crews.

Half an hour later

The ships were now trapped in bottles that were housed in the cupboard among the others, their cargo in the hold, the crews in cells as were the men who boarded my ship. The commander didn't go directly into his cell however since I dangled from the ropes on the upper deck so I could question him about this Grizzly Fist guy. From my interrogation of him I learnt that this Grizzly Fist character used to be one of Drago Bludvists men until he tried to take over from him. Apparently, he was to be executed but had enough men on his side to escape from his cell, steal a ship and disappear before Drago or his forces could do anything. He hadn't been heard from since but apparently, he'd come out of hiding intent on taking Drago's place by finding his own Alpha dragon to control his own dragon army. To put it bluntly I didn't like the sounds of this guy one bit and knew if I didn't deal with this guy now it would come back to bite me later. As for his reason for mining on the Slumbering Woods after seeing the map of the island I knew why he was there since it was the very island I'd been searching for. This island was the resting place of the foreverwing but how he intended to awaken it let alone control it is something I had no idea but I knew if he was successful then it meant big trouble.

It was then at that moment the island came into view and knew before I did anything that I needed to scout the area, find out what I'm up against, where the prisoners are and possibly where the foreverwing is. I smiled since I had the bells of frey in my spider pack that was on my back and knew that I should only awaken the foreverwing as a last resort or at least wait until all the prisoners were free. The last thing I wanted was any casualties when it came to the prisoners and awakening it would no doubt cause a few rockslides and possibly an earthquake so best not risk it. I turned to Toothless and smiled at him as I said.

"Let's check this place out bud." He growled as I mounted him before we took off towards the island.

One hour later

It's been an hour since I took off to scout out the island to get a feel for what was happening on the island, how many men I have to deal with, get an idea of the landscape and how best to handle this. I admit at first it was difficult to see any of the men through the dense forest but it was from this that I learnt a new ability that the eye of the dragon possessed. When this ability became active the trees became translucent while the forms of the men took on a white color revealing them to me and showing their location. It took a minute but I learnt how to switch between this vision and regular vision so finding out the location of the men and their camp was a piece of cake. From this I learnt that I was looking at around thirty opponents patrolling the forest, twenty in the camp and ten at a small dock on the other side of the island holding three ships. The camp was more like a fort with a wooden fence surrounding it with a small number of tents, a couple of cages, a small one-story hut and a larger one-story building with everything built on top of a hill. Besides that, there was a small group of people who were most likely the prisoners digging just outside under the watch of the armed men most likely looking for something. What shocked me the most was the fact that the camp was built on top of the foreverwing. To say I was shocked by its size would be an understatement since it was huge and when I saw this I was glad that it was still slumbering and I had the only means to wake it.

I knew taking the dock should be my first priority, which is why right now I had docked my ship on the other side of the island so they didn't notice it and was now flying on Toothless high above the dock itself. Looking down at the dock I knew my first target should be the one standing at the end of the dock with his back to it as he looked at the forest. It wasn't that hard to tell he was the one who would message the others on the island if the dock was attacked by sea or if he noticed me. I gave Toothless a quick head scratch knowing it was time to attack and bring an end to Grizzly fists operation and take him and his men in. I looked down at Toothless and said.

"Wish me luck bud."

He crooned before I hopped off him and spread my wings silently gliding into the forest before landing in one of the trees making the branches rustle. I'm guessing the guard noticed this since he began walking up to it to investigate as he took out his sword while I slowly and silently lowered myself down the tree. When he was right in front of it he looked around at the surrounding woods making me smile since by this point I was right above him in the perfect position to attack. I held my prosthetic arm above his head and let out a puff of my knockout gas that covered his head and before he could even react his body collapsed against the tree. With him out of the way I jumped the rest of the way to the ground and smiled at his unconscious form and said.

"One down nine to go." I then turned to the remaining men had their weapons out while patrolling the docks with six on the dock itself while the remaining three were standing on the walkways to the ships as I smiled. "Too easy." I then walked out from behind the tree while readying my ox flame boots by setting them to speed mode. "Let's take care of this fast." I slowly walked up to the beginning of the dock smiling and catching the attention of the men who immediately began approaching as the one at the front who was holding an axe said.

"Don't move prisoner." I just held my arms up as if I were surrendering making him smile. "I don't know how you got past the men in the forest but you can't run from us." I smirked.

"Why would I run from you when I can run at you?" He cocked an eyebrow before I ran at them with my ox flame boots speed making me a blur as I swiped all the weapons of his men behind him and then running back to him at the front holding them all. "Here hold these for me." He just stared in shock as I dropped the eight weapons into his arms leaving him unable to move right before I delivered a solid punch to his face with my prosthetic knocking him out cold. "Gotcha!" I then looked at the remaining men who were now grouping together as they charged at me but I held up my hand. "Sweet dreams." I then let out a large cloud of knockout gas that they charged right into and sliding out the other side unconscious. "Too easy." I then looked at the ships. "Can't risk any of these men escaping so better sink these ships but first better makes sure these men aren't discovered." I closed my eyes and willed my ship to come while going over a plan to deal with those in the camp and the forest. "Looks like I've got my work cut out for me this time." It was then my ship came into view making me smile. "Well at least it's just normal people and not some demon bent on world domination or some maniac with dark magic intent on revenge." It was then my ship came into view making me smile. "Time to get to work."

2 hours later

It's been two hours since I took the docks and that time has been nothing but busy for me with everything I've had to take care of. The men I captured on the docks were now unconscious in cells while the ships they were guarding were now with the other two ships I captured in bottles. The men in the forest however were in cells but it took an hour and a half to deal with them since there were so many but luckily my ninja was able to easily take them down while my Anubis warriors brought them back to the ship. While this happened, I stayed up in the sky with Toothless keeping an eye out for any men that were getting too close to my Anubis warriors when they were transporting the captives. Fortunately, this didn't happen since whenever one of my ninjas would take them down before they could do anything or even react. Now the only men remaining were in the camp where all the prisoners had recently been moved back into for what looked to be a break from their work.

Presently I was standing on a tree branch at the top of a tree with my ninja's on other branches while Toothless sat at the trunk of the tree. I stared at the camp where the remaining enemies were in and where they were holding the captives looking for any weakness in their defenses. I knew there was nothing I could do as long as the prisoners were there since they gave their captives a way to stop my attack or awakening the foreverwing. It was then I noticed that the cage they were in was held right up against the wall and a plan began to form in my mind on how I could get the prisoners free without their captives knowing. Once the prisoners were free then I could take on the enemy troops with no trouble or worries about the people being caught in the middle and getting hurt because of it. With my plan in mind I turned to my ninjas and said.

"When the prisoners are free escort them to the docks and make sure nothing happens to them." They gave a simultaneous nod before I turned back to the camp. "Let's get this done."

I released my hook and hooked it onto a branch before lowering myself down to the ground while my ninja just jumped down silently landing. I patted Toothless on the head and signaled him to stay here but to be ready to take off and attack if something comes up. I could tell he didn't like it but he gave a nod making me smile before I begun making my way down to the camp while doing my best to stay of sight, which is something, my ninja had no trouble doing. When we reached the part of the wall that I knew the prisoners were behind I smiled as I pressed my golden prosthetic against the wall before pressing my hand against it and making it intangible allowing me to stick my head through it. I looked around at the prisoners who were all just sitting around with their wrists bound in shackles making me frown before I noticed one of the Meatheads I knew sitting near the wall. I slowly walked through the wall without anyone noticing and walked up to him but he kept his head down looking at the ground. When my shadow landed on him he looked up at me and then his eyes widened but before he could say anything I covered his mouth and whispered.

"Keep quiet, I'm here to break you all out of here but the last thing we need is the guards finding out." He nodded and whispered back.

"But how are ye going to do that lad." I smiled and lifted up my prosthetic.

"For now, let's just say a lot has happened with me since my last visit to your tribe." He nodded as I walked up to the back wall and pressed my prosthetic hand making it intangible once more.

"What are you doing lad?"

"Making a way out!" I then took his hand and pulled it to the wall and smiled at his gasp as it went through it. "Don't worry, it's safe." He nodded before I walked through it fully and pulled him with until he was fully through and looking around the area in shock until his eyes landed on my but before he could ask me anything I held up my hand silencing him. "I'll explain everything later but for now I need you to help me get everyone out of this camp so I can take down the men."

"But how're we going to get out of here with no boats and men patrolling the forest."

"My ship can get you all out of here and the men in the woods have already been captured by me and my ninja." It was then he noticed the five-ninja staring at him but before he could say anything I once again held up my hand. "I'll explain later when everyone is safe." He nodded before we got to work.

Half an hour

All of the Meatheads were now safely on my ship being guarded by fifteen of my Anubis warriors while my ninja kept near the camp in case of trouble and to pick off any men who went searching in it. While all this was happening, I was silently and stealthily making my way through the camp to the hut where I'm sure I can find Grizzly fist. This was easy since most of the men were searching for clues outside the fortress to where the prisoners went while the others were looking in the cage for how they got loose without any of them even noticing. With my ninja's out front taking down the men who entered the forest their numbers were now down to only five guards and Grizzly Fist who was still in his cabin. Along with this fact my ox flame boots speed mode made getting through past those who were on guard was a piece of cake and making it to the unguarded back of the hut a quick and easy task. Before I did this though I told my ninjas that as soon as I'm in the hut they were to capture the remaining men and take them to the ship since I didn't want any casualties on either side when the foreverwing woke up. The hut itself really wasn't anything special on the outside since it was a cube shaped one with a door at the front, a window in both the left and right walls with shutters that were shut tight and the entire thing was made of wood.

I looked around and smiled at the sight of no guards nearby before I made myself intangible and stuck my head through the wall to get a look at what was inside. The hut was pretty much empty except for a large table in the middle, a bed pushed against the wall in the right corner, a torch stuck onto the left wall and a large man with his back to me. I knew this guy was Grizzly Fist since he was wearing a bearskin cloak with the upper part of the bear on his head and heard him muttering about Drago Bludvest. Hearing this a plan formed in my mind making me smile as I slowly and quietly walked through the wall as I heard him say.

"I know there's an alpha dragon somewhere on this island Drago and when I find that Alpha I'll force it to serve me and then I shall be able to form my own army and take command of this world." It was then I decided to make my presence known by saying.

"It's actually a lot closer than you think."

He immediately turned around to face me with a sword in hand allowing me to get a look at him. His arms were incredibly hairy, even by Viking standards and his face was just as hairy with his chin covered in stubble. As for clothes besides the bearskin cloak on his shoulder he wore a dark brown leather tunic and boots with dark brown pants and a black belt with a metal belt buckle that looked like a bear's head. This showed me that he took his name seriously but I was brought out of my thoughts when he growled and asked.

"How'd you get in here?" I smirked.

"I have my ways."

"What are you doing here lad because if you aim to cause problems for me then you won't leave this house alive."

"I simply want to know what you're doing here since I heard the name Drago Bludvist." He growled.

"I used to be one of his men until I tried to take over but before that I heard him talking about an alpha dragon known as the foreverwing hidden an island." He growled. "I've had my men search this island from top to bottom and nothing until one of them said it might have hidden itself below the island."

"I take it that's what you've been forcing people to dig for."

"Yes, and still nothing but I'll find it and when I do the archipelago will be mine."

"How do you know it's on this island though."

"An old journal I found in an abandoned village on this island that was wiped out by the scourge of Odin that spoke of it and showed that it slumbers on this island."

"So, you aim to wake it up without the bells of Frey?"

"You mean those accursed bells that would wake up the beast?"

"So, you've heard of them?"

"They were mentioned in the journal and I've lost a lot of good men searching for them only to come come up with nothing."

"So how do you intend to wake it up then?"

"It's nothing a large sharp metal spike can't cure since my men weren't able to find me those bells."

"Can't blame them since they were pretty hard for me to find." He looked in my eyes.

"You have them?" I nodded.

"Yeah I do but you do not want to wake the foreverwing." He pushed the sword to my throat.

"Give me the bells lad or your head will be mounted on my wall." I faked a fearful face and pushed his sword blade away.

"Alright, just give me a second to get them out of my bag." I reached behind me while having my spider pack push them out one by one before I placed them all on the table making Grizzly Fist smile.

"I've been waiting a long time for this." I slowly backed up to the wall as I made myself intangible.

"I advise you not to ring those bells." He glared at me.

"Like I'd ever take advice from a runt like you." He picked up the bells and shook them causing a ring that seemed to echo through the house but I knew it echoed outside as well for it was only a minute before the ground beneath us began to shake causing Grizzly fist to drop the bells. "What's happening?" I just smirked as my spider pack grabbed the bells off the floor and put them back into the skull.

"Next time you awaken a sleeping dragon, make sure you're not camped out right on top of it."

With that said I ran through the back wall as I released my spirit bow and took out a fire arrow and loaded it so I could signal Toothless to come. I let the arrow loose into the sky causing a large explosion and I knew it caught Toothless' attention since it was then I heard the telltale whistling sound before Toothless came to land in front of me. I immediately mounted him and took off before the foreverwing could fully get up since that would most definitely cause more than a few problems. As we flew I looked down at the camp as Grizzly fist charged out of his hut and looked around for anyone only to see he was completely alone in the camp that was now collapsing. It was then the foreverwing head emerged from the front and I was able to get a proper look at this legendary dragon. Its skin looked to be made of wood with what looked like long branches on top of its head and below its chin resembling hair and a beard. Along with this it had such gentle and kind eyes like that of a grandparent but the thing that caught my attention the most was the fact that it had a forest growing on its back. I knew that this dragon needed to come with me back to my island where it wouldn't be bothered or else it could go on a rampage destroying entire islands with its size. Knowing this I looked down at Toothless and said.

"Come on bud, we've got to calm this big guy before he hurts anyone." He growled before we flew up to the side of the foreverwings head catching its eye. "GOOD MORNING, LISTEN I KNOW YOU'RE PROBABLY DISORIENTED AND GROGGY AFTER WAKING UP AFTER SUCH A LONG SLEEP BUT IF YOU COULD JUST-"The foreverwing cut me off by turning to me and letting out a roar that threw us back down to the ground but Toothless quickly recovered and stood his ground. "And here I thought you were grumpy after your naps." He just growled as the foreverwing turned its body to fully face us. "Show him who's the king bud." He growled and nodded as his body glowed blue as he let out a loud roar that echoed through the entire island as a few intense seconds past before the foreverwing bowed its head in submission making me smile before we flew up to the face as I said. "Alright bud now let's get this big guy back to-"

I was once again cut off by a scream from above and looked up just as I was tackled off Toothless and to the ground below, which fortunately wasn't that long a fall but it still hurt. When my body stopped rolling I looked up to see Grizzly fist getting up and glaring at me with his sword drawn. He breathed heavily as he said.

"When I came out my men and prisoners were all gone, you're doing I presume." I smirked and shrugged.

"I didn't want the prisoners getting hurt or your men getting in the way so I had them dealt with in advance." He glared as he stood up and readied his sword.

"First I deal with you and then your dragon before taking control of the foreverwing." I sighed and shook my head.

"You really have no idea who you're dealing with do you?" He paused to think.

"Come to think of it I never did get your name." I pointed my prosthetic at him.

"It's Hiccup and I'm the one who's taken on demons, sorceress', sorcerers, a titan, monsters and I'm also the one who took down Drago Bludvist." The disk launcher rose out of my prosthetic. "And I'm also the one who's going to ensure you and your men are locked up tight for the rest of your lives." He glared at me.

"Do you honestly think you can beat me?" I launched one of my hovering disk bolas at him. "What the heck?" He was immediately hit and tied up while dropping his sword and began to float up.

"Yes, I do!" It was then Toothless flew down and landed next to me crooning in concern but I just patted his head as I looked at him. "Don't worry bud, I'm alright but we've got a lot of work to do with the big guy, the Meatheads and the captives." He crooned at me as I mounted him. "Well we better get started." He growled and we took off stopping only for a moment to grab Grizzly Fist.

three days later

It's been three days since we took down Grizzly fist and despite not too much time has past a lot has happened with my dragons and I. First thing we did is get rid of Grizzly fist and his men by dropping them off on Outcast island till the defenders of the wing could come and pick them up which was a day later and the last I heard they'd been dealt with. Then there's the people we rescued who were dropped off back on their own island and reunited with their tribe but through all this I made sure the foreverwing who now goes by the name Roots kept his distance by either flying or floating in the water since I didn't want to cause a panic. When we got back my alphas helped him settle in just outside of the bewilderbeast nest where he sleeps most of the time resembling a piece of land. Along with this my trophy room now held the pelt Grizzly Fist wore and his belt buckle as a reminder of this adventure but I also had to the remains on Roots back to remind me. I spent half an hour with my dragons cleaning up the remains of that camp off him but it was from this I learnt that the other hut that Grizzly Fist wasn't staying in was actually where he kept the gold and jewels that the people dug up all of which was now in my vault.

When all of that was taken care of I then had to deal with the Meatheads who were still on Berk and my mother who was eager to study Roots. It's a good thing that alpha is a heavy sleeper or else my mom would've woken him up with all her running around on his head and back while she gave me a headache with all her questions. Of course, she wasn't the only one who was giving me a headache as the Meatheads were doing a pretty good job of it themselves with all of their questions. Shortly after I got back and informed them that their people were safe and the culprits behind it now behind bars they began pelting me with questions about the adventures I had since I visited them. When I gave them a tour of my island things only got worse since they asked even more questions about the places I showed them and the animals I introduced them to. I was beyond happy when they stopped asking me questions and just enjoyed the islands scenery and along with the tour.

I could tell Thuggory and Faye enjoyed the view of the jungle from top of my Mayan temple if how they sat there looking at the sunset was anything to go by. My uncle Bjork preferred my grassy planes claiming they were a good place to just forget about the world and watch the clouds go by which I had to agree with while aunt Hildegard preferred the bath to relax since she'd go into it and we wouldn't see her for at least an hour. Chief Mogaden spent his time wondering my inventions room or in my boat house studying the different inventions while asking me to explain how they worked and what they were for. Then there's little Will who adored all of the animals and dragons after he saw they weren't going to hurt him and spent all his time either playing with them all or at my side. I always found it adorable when little Will would ride on Lumie's back while playing hide and seek with Kal who would pop up and spray him with water. I knew that despite the peace chances are these next few days were going to be busy.

AN: Hey guys I know some of you might not think much of this chapter but cut me some slack a lot's been going on here with me. Along with this my ideas for the archipelago are pretty low so I'm sorry but it isn't easy and I wanted Hiccup to pick up the foreverwing and get it out of the way sooner rather than later. Anyway, I've received a lot of questions asking why I didn't have Toothless join the battle in Camelot and the answer is Merlin kept him back knowing it best not to interfere unless absolutely necessary. So, until the next chapter please keep your reviews friendly, stay safe during these tough times and have a nice day.
