Chapter 148

Hiccups POV:

Morning came way too early for me knowing what awaited me this day since this was the day I'd be forced to give a tour of my island to the visiting chiefs, their heirs and bridal candidates. I knew that the things I had would more than likely cause a stir with the people who'd more than likely bother me with offers for my stuff when they're not for sale. I had no doubt the Spearwing tribe would be trying to convince me to sell them some of my animals for them to hunt while chief Gilford would most likely try to buy my weather control items or god made weapons so he could take on the gods. I know I could just tell them that they weren't for sale and my gifts from the gods would only work for me but chances are they would not listen. I just hoped that when it comes to the weapons they would give up their desire after I let them hold one and learn what happens when someone other than me wields them. Chances are though they'd keep trying claiming it was all a matter of strength and will despite me telling them that it wasn't the case with these weapons. I also knew that after this tour I'd need to keep my guard up around my island since chances are it would result in some of the people trying to sneak onto it for one reason or another with the Spearwings probably wanting to do it so they could steal some of my animals as my dad warned me they weren't above it when it came to getting rare animals. When the tour was over I'd have to tell the snake guardians and all my animals to be on high alert in case they tried anything to get on my island unnoticed or try to steal any of my animals.

My morning did have a pleasant start however with the feeling of Blanca still gently lying on my chest as she slept soundly in the world of dreams. The look on her face was so peaceful with her eyes shut and a small content smile on her face as she gently breathed in and out at peace with the world. I envied her at that time wishing I could have the same peace today but I knew that I would not be able to achieve this form of peace until the visiting tribes returned to their own islands. I just hoped they didn't choose to extend their visit to try and convince me to sell to them since if they were anything like the nobles I've dealt with in the past then I'd mostly come out of this with bruised knuckles from punching them or bald from tearing my hair out in frustration. After I woke Blanca up we enjoyed a simple breakfast of fruit and dried meat together with Dagur and Mala while Toothless and Zhang Yong. As we ate I made it clear to Zhang Yong not to leave Blanca's side for anything since I didn't trust some of the visiting tribe members.

Now I was wearing my usual attire of armor, grootslang coat and third arm sash while standing at the head of my ship heading towards Berk to pick up the people who would more than likely want a to know about my dwarf made fold up ship. I figured I could give them all a quick tour while we sailed back to my island for the tour of all the environments but I had the feeling some of them might try to buy my ship from me. I wouldn't blame them if they did however since my ship is a pretty handy thing to have around when traveling since it allows one to travel in comfort and with no fear. I just hope they'd listen to me when I tell them that the ship was built specifically for me and would only answer to me but I doubted they would listen. I knew it best I just deal with it when it happened since for now I needed to just try and keep my cool when dealing with them since the last thing I wanted was to start a war with any of the tribes.

It was then my ship was closing in on the dock where the chiefs were waiting for me with their heirs, their other family members bridal candidates who were no longer wearing dresses but normal outfits that fit in more with their tribe. I let out a sigh knowing it was time for me to just deal with this so I could get this over with and get on with my day as I pulled up to dock. I lowered the gangplank and walked up to the front of it and gave them all a smile as I said.

"Good day to you fine chiefs and company, I hope you're all ready for today's tour." There were cries of agreement as I stepped aside. "All of you please board my ship so we can begin the heading to my island." They all nodded as I stepped aside and began boarding as I said. "Now while we are sailing to my island I'll be giving you all a tour of my ship." There were mutters before Chief Bassmouth said.

"I admit the ships a beauty lad but I don't see what's so special about it." I smiled at him.

"This ship was given to me by the dwarves and as such there is much more to it than meets the eye."

"Really now?" I saw a glint in his eyes that I didn't like.

"Yeah, I'll show you all on the way to my island." With that said I willed my ship to begin sailing before the sails fell down and we were off.

"Lad, who's steering the ship?" I saw everyone else was also curious to know since I could tell none of them saw who did it.

"I'm the one who's steering the ship." He opened his mouth to reply but before he could I said. "The ships connected to me and answers to my will allowing me to control it without lifting a finger." They all stared at me for a moment before Chief Gilford said.

"That's alright lad but can this ship do anything to fight in naval battles?" I smiled at him.

"You'd be amazed what it can do." I then willed the defenses to activate and smiled as the trapdoors on the deck opened up before the catapults rose while the weapon slots on the ship's sides opened up and the ballistae in the back rose and got ready to fire as we pulled up to the side of a sea-stack. "How's about a quick demonstration." As soon as I finished saying that the catapults, ballistae fired at the sea stack, which was turned to rubble in seconds, while everyone watched. "And that's only a small example of what my ship can do when it comes to its abilities." Chieftess Marrow replied.

"What else can this thing do?"

"It can also drop barrels behind it which explode on contact to deal with pursuers, when boarding a large gangplank with a metal spike on the bottom can rise from the deck and land onto the other ship and it can also launch grappling hooks at ships to pull them in and then for lack of a better term consume them." They all looked confused as Gale asked.

"Consume them?"

"It goes like this; the ship pulls them in as the front of the ship splits apart and opens up like a large mouth before there's a bright blue glow as the ship disappears into it."

"But what happens to the ship that's pulled in?"

"The ship itself is shrunk down and put in an unbreakable bottle in a cabinet that's in my office while it's cargo reappears in storage and the crew are shoved into cells through the cells back walls." Vaatu then asked.

"This ship has cells?" I nodded.

"Yeah it does, among other things which we shall see on the tour." I then turned to the doorway leading to my map room. "Follow me please." They all nodded and followed behind me into the map room where everyone stood around the crystal map as I gestured to the room. "This room is where I store all of my maps and this magic crystal map I got from a genie." They all looked at me as Lokiroht asked.

"A genie?"

"A creature with the ability to grant wishes to those who free them but you've got to be careful since there are some bad ones who twist your wish around and turn into something horrible."

"How did you know this genie wasn't like that?"

"Because I know evil and she wasn't evil." Levi then asked.

"So, what does this crystal map do exactly?"

"Easy, when I want to go somewhere I just have to tell it and it'll show me the safest and quickest way there along with any obstacles and ships near me." He nodded.

"So, this thing can lead you to anywhere in the world."

"Only places I've been to before since part of the fun of being an explorer is discovering new places." He nodded as Ulrik asked.

"Did you wish for anything else?" I saw a greedy glint in his eye.

"Yes, I wished for something to help me train for different fights and for her freedom since she was a cursed soul who just wanted to be free."

"So, she couldn't conjure you up a fortune in gold or your own kingdom?"

"Oh no, she did offer me those along with my own army, a life of luxury and all the knowledge in the world while providing a sample of what she was offering." I shrugged. "None of those things interested me for one reason or another so I turned her down and I only had three wishes."

"Why didn't you just wish for more wishes?"

"It was one of the things she couldn't do along with bringing the dead back to life, killing someone and making someone fall in love." Rayne looked at me as if I were crazy as she asked.

"How could you not be interested in that stuff?" I turned to her. "A damn fortune, your own kingdom, a life of luxury or your own damn army!" She then looked me in the eye. "Are you crazy?" I shook my head.

"No, I just prefer to earn what I have instead of having it handed to me." They mostly nodded but some looked at me as if I were crazy before Umbra pointed to the doors behind me.

"Where do those doors lead to?"

"Nowhere special, just my ships bedroom and my guestroom." They all nodded. "Now let's go below deck and I'll show you what truly makes this ship impressive." They all nodded before I lead them all out and down the trap door to the lower levels.

Ten minutes later

We were all back on the top deck after a quick tour of the lower decks which I could only say left the people speechless from what they saw since they hadn't said a word since I began showing them the lower decks. I smiled at the sight of my island as we neared the bewilderbeast entrance to my ship shed and gestured to it as I said.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my island." We sailed through the mouth and made our way towards an empty slot where my fold up ship normally rested when I wasn't using it. "We'll begin the tour here in my ship shed before moving onto the main house where we'll decide which section of the island to visit first." They all nodded as my gangplank went down and I lead everyone onto the stone path leading to the outer hall of the ship shed, which held the way out and doors to the other ships. "Now let's get this tour started." I then lead them down the hall to see my ships.

Half an hour later

It's been half an hour since my tour of my ship shed began and now it had come to an end with me leading everyone out of the ship shed and onto the path leading to my house. I was standing at the bottom of the stairs and looking out everyone who all looked up at my house in awe while I thought back to the look in the eyes of some of the people. The majorities were simply curious about what my ships were for and their capabilities while others had a look of desire and greed in their eyes. I knew this would more than likely come back to haunt me but I figured it wasn't anything I couldn't handle but for now I needed to focus on the people. I watched as the last of the people left the ship shed and said.

"Alright everyone, we'll be heading up to my house now and before we enter there'll be rules you must follow because if you don't both you and the members of your tribe will be sent back to Berk immediately."

They all nodded before I lead them all towards my house and couldn't help but smile in pride at their awed looks as I lead them up the stairs leading to the front door. I pushed doors open to the entrance hall where Blanca was standing in the middle with Zhang Yong sitting at her side. I walked up to her as I turned back to the people and saw more than just a few of the men were looking at her with lust making my blood boil in anger. So I put an arm around her waist in greeting as I said.

"Everybody, allow me to introduce you all to my wife, Blanca." She looked out at the group and bowed as she said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all." Zhang Yong walked in front of her growling as she stood back up straight and giggled. "Don't mind him, he's just a little protective of me." Vaatu then asked.

"What is that thing?" I answered.

"This is Zhang Yong and he's a Zheng from China who acts as Blanca's personal body guard." Blanca then kneeled down and pet him as she said.

"To be honest with you all I really don't see him that way since he's more of a pet to me since I do enjoy his company." Zhang Yong just purred under his touch as I asked.

"So what would you all like to see first in my house?" I gestured around us as Chieftess Marrow said.

"I'd like to see this armory I heard that Gobber talk about." I nodded.

"Of course Chieftess Marrow." I made my way to the door leading to my armory with Blanca at my side. "Right this way please." They all followed me to my armory and when they were all in they looked around at the multiple weapons with some examining the weapons I designed from foreign lands. "You can find multiple types of weapons that are designed differently from the ones here in the archipelago." I saw Crystal lift up a khopesh and swing it around a bit before giving it a look of distain. "Is something wrong Crystal?" She looked at me.

"This swords not only strangely shaped but its also too light so there's no way it would hold up in battle." I raised an eyebrow.

"That swords a khopesh blade from Egypt which is shaped like that so it can hook onto shields and as for holding out in battle" I smiled. "test it out on one of your own swords and see how it holds up." Nakala pulled out her own sword.

"Let's do it to see what the big deal is."

Crystal nodded before they both raised the weapons in their hand and swung them at each other before the sound of metal hitting metal echoed through the armory as the top of Nakala's blade flew off and landed in front of chief Grant while everyone stared in awe. Crystal looked from Nakala's broken sword to the khopesh in her hand with her mouth wide open in shock before her eyes landed on me. All eyes turned to me as everyone silently asked the same question 'what was these weapons made of?' I looked at them all taking the khopesh out of Crystals limp hand as I said.

"These weapons are made of a special metal I call gronke iron which is stronger and lighter than any other metal I've ever seen allowing me to make weapons that are easier to wield and more effective." I saw multiple looks of desire in some eyes until I heard Ulrik behind me say.

"Looks to me like you've got enough of these weapons to supply your own army." I turned to reply but gasped when I saw him tossing and catching one of my bombs in his hand.

"STOP THAT!"

Everyone jumped at the sound of my yell including Ulrik who dropped the bomb forcing me to dive and stop it from hitting the ground and possibly going off. I let out a sigh of relief as the bomb landed in my hand before I stood up while letting out a sigh of relief when it didn't go off. I stood back up and glared at Ulrik while everyone stared at me as if I were crazy before I walked up to Ulrik and asked.

"Are you trying to blow us all to Asgard?" He raised an eyebrow as I walked over to the shelf that held the bombs an put it back in place. "These are not toys, they're bombs and if it went off so close to the others it would've destroyed the entire house while people would need spyglasses just to find what's left of us." Everyone gulped hearing this as Ulrik asked.

"Well how should I know what that thing is, you should've put up a sign." I raised an eyebrow.

"I did!" I pointed to the sign on top of the shelf which read 'BOMBS, HANDLE WITH CARE!' making Ulrik look down in embarrassment as Chief Nigren glared at his son along with everyone else before he began scolding him while chief Grant looked back to the entrance to my god gift vault catching my attention. "Is something wrong chief Grant?" He turned to me for second before looking back to the entrance.

"This is an impressive piece of work but what's a statue doing in an armory?" I walked up next to him looking at the entrance.

"It's the entrance to where I keep my god made weapons gifted to me by the gods of China." He nodded but I saw him open his mouth to ask something. "It's not on the tour though." There were many complaints but I ignored them as I walked back to the entrance. "Come on all there's much more to see today and it can't be seen from this room." They all nodded as Grant asked.

"So what did you do to earn the vault lad?" I smiled at him.

"I'll show you." Blanca and me lead them to the trophy room and everyone immediately began looking around as I walked over to the generals spear and the snake demons scale. "You want to know what I did to earn the vault here's your answer." Everyone turned to me as I gestured to the spear and scale before Marrow asked.

"What's the big deal about those things and all this stuff since I admit it looks interesting but nothing more."

"The things on display in this room are all trophies from my past fights and these two items are from my last adventure." Nail then asked.

"And what did you do?" I pointed to the scale.

"This scale came from a giant snake demon with a head on either end of its body while the spear" I gestured to the spear. "came from a mad man known simply as the general who drained the essence out of snakes to enhance his dark power but to be honest I couldn't be more grateful to them for taking these dark paths that made them what they were." Everyone gasped before Blanca turned me to her as she looked at me in anger.

"Hiccup, why would you ever be grateful to those monsters after all the pain they caused?" I smiled at her and gently caressed her face.

"Because without them, I never would've met you, the love of my life." Hearing this she smiled and blushed while looking down in embarrassment and nuzzling into my touch but Freya ruined our moment.

"Can we continue with the tour please since I'm sure everyone have questions about the things you have here in your trophy room?" I glared at her before I sighed and turned back to the people.

"What would you all like to know?"

Two hours later

It's been two hours since we entered the trophy room where we ended spending an hour since the people asked me to create an illusion of what the beasts I faced look like. They all asked me questions about the beasts but I just told them all their questions would be done after the tour with illusions to help answer their questions. After that we continued on the tour of my house, which took another hour since I lived in such a big house and they all had a lot of questions. Now we were all standing at the top of the volcano in front of the nightfury statue and everyone was breathing heavily from the hike up the mountain except for Mala whom I had Toothless fly up since I didn't think it was safe for her in her condition. I smiled at the people as I said.

"Welcome to the top of my volcano," I gestured to the statue of Toothless. "whenever I get a new piece for my island I come up here and the statue of Toothless calls up a crystal model of the island where the new piece goes before it's brought out of the ocean." They all nodded as Vaatu looked down into the volcano.

"Why's there an island in the middle of the lava with a tree in the middle and a dragon wrapped around it." I walked up to him.

"The seeds for the tree were given to me by the Greek god Pan who told me the seeds were special so I planted them there for protection." He nodded.

"And what about the dragon?"

"That's Damen, he used guard the Golden Fleece but when it was stolen he lost purpose so the gods gave him to me and I gave him the job of guarding the tree before Aelius joined him in guard duty." Zeva then asked.

"Who's Aelius?" I smiled at her as Aelius flew from the lava letting out a mighty screech and came to land the nightfury statue.

"That is Aelius!" Aelius leaned his body down and nuzzled my chest while I chuckled. "Aelius here is a phoenix and also one of my trees guardians." I then walked up to the edge of the volcano. "From this height you can see the entire island so pick a spot you'd all like to see next." Everyone walked up next to Blanca and I looking at the view. "My island has many different environments along with many different buildings so take your time on deciding." Everyone looked out in amazement.

Three hours later

We were all now in the bamboo forest section of my island sitting in the temple as we all rested our feet from the long walk we'd been doing. As I sat there listening to everyone talk I went over what we've done so far since the volcano where I told them to pick where they wanted to go. We'd explored my Mayan jungle where Sea Breeze swung around on the many vines and branches while screaming in joy and scaring the macaws out of their feathers, which I collected for crafting later. Her swinging and screaming came to an end though when she accidently grabbed on a vine, which was actually the tail of a patrolling Ah Tabai who was not happy to be yanked down from the branch and to the ground by his tail. It took a steak and me playing my calming flute to keep him from ripping Sea Breeze apart for what she did since if there's one thing he hates it's having his tail pulled. After that incident we continued the tour of my jungle introducing its residents to the people but I did not like the look the members of the spearwing tribe were giving them. We then continued the tour with a visit to my temple, which left people gasping when we reached the top but they all liked the view of the jungle.

After that I decided it best we went to a place where nobody would be able to bother us and went to my desert enjoying a stroll down the path that ended with a break at my gazebo. When we got there many of them wanted to jump into the water of the oasis with chief Bassmouth actually doing it the second he laid eyes on it. Sadly Nylene was taking a drink when he jumped in causing her to get an early bath when the water turned into a wave that hit her. When Bassmouth rose from the water he was greeted with the snarling face of a sopping wet Nylene inches from his own before she let out a roar making him swim back while Blanca and I laughed at the sight but everyone else was focused on Nylene. After that I introduced them all to Nylene and explained to them all what she was and how she came to be mine and what she does. I left out my sand phantoms since I had the feeling it was better to keep them a secret for now. We ended up taking a half-hour long break so everyone could rehydrate since none of them were used to the intense desert heat.

Then we went on a walk through the forest for a nice quiet walk among the trees, which everyone was grateful for after walking through the intense desert heat. It was during this time everyone was introduced to my wolf pack who were patrolling the forest for any trouble. I could see some of them were a little uneasy around Adal considering he was the son of Fenrir but they all calmed down when Blanca gave him a gentle head scratch and he laid down on his back asking for a tummy rub. Some of the people found it adorable especially when Blanca and I hopped on to rub it making him kick his hind leg in pleasure. After a few more moments of that I took them to the coliseum and gave a demonstration of its capabilities along with an explanation of what the different settings were used for.

We paid a visit to the griffins' roost where Plutarach lead a few of my other griffins down from their nest to show them to the guests but I made it clear to everyone not to approach them. Chief Lokiroht decided to ignore my warning claiming he could handle any beast, which resulted in me needing to bring out my calming flute to keep my griffins from tearing him apart before we all had to take off as fast as we could while I kept playing. We then made our way to the Irish hills grass fields, which everyone was happy to see. Since there wasn't much to be seen in that part of the island so that part was over quickly and the only thing we saw was my crystal cave but I didn't tell any of them what the crystals were for since the last thing I wanted was for them to try anything with them.

When that was done we made our way to my Great Planes checking out the teepee and also took some time to admire Aylen and Phlegon running across the fields. I couldn't blame everyone for staring though since they looked pretty majestic as they ran across the grassy fields with the wind flowing through their manes. We then went for a walk through the Indian desert where I showed them my spirit cave and everyone got a look at my dust coyotes running across the land. After that we went for a visit to the Hawaiian beach where everybody enjoyed the tropical breeze that brushed through our hair and some found my Hawaiian shrine to be an interesting piece of architecture and got a fright when Moana crawled out of her underwater nest. Then came the trip to the African Savannah where I gave them all some time to relax while I played with Mfalme who was happy to see me while Davu watched from his nest in the Baobab tree.

Now I was sitting on the stairs of the shrine looking at the people with Blanca leaning on my shoulder as she gently petted Zheng who was resting his head on her lap. While everyone spoke with everyone I listened to the sound of Shogoro beating his gong shell while Beruto-Usu shook his head ringing his bell head. I smiled at the reaction the people had when they saw them lying on the steps of the shrine while Nagareboshi galloped through the woods since he preferred to keep away from the large group. I would've shown them the mine but the last thing I wanted was for anyone to get their hands on my special minerals or accidently cause some of the minerals to activate causing an explosion. As I looked around I took notice of someone hiding in the forest and smiled seeing it was none other than my sister-in-law watching us. I wasn't surprised though considering I'd been seeing the snake guardians all over the island during the tour in their snake forms but nobody ever noticed them. I was glad since this meant I had a little extra back up if anyone tried anything and they would be caught by surprise since I never told them anything about the snake guardians and I didn't intend to tell them anything about them. It was then Chief Luna walked up to me and said.

"Hiccup I heard your island had quite a few dragons living on it but so far we've only seen that dragon guarding the tree, that nightfury of yours, that one in the savannah and the ones living in the pens so could you tell if there are anymore?" I looked at her.

"There are plenty of dragons but they're all sticking to the nests for now since I didn't want them scaring anyone." She nodded as she asked.

"So will the nests be on the tour?" I shook my head as Blanca answered.

"The dragons don't like strangers wondering around their nests so it would be dangerous." She nodded.

"What about that large mountain surrounded by the forest with the orange leaves." I knew if we went there then the snake guardians would be found and I didn't want that so I answered.

"No, that parts off limits till it's been fully explored." She nodded as we continued to enjoy the peace.

Half an hour later

The tour was finally over and we were all once again standing in the entrance hall with everyone looking up at Blanca and me as I kept my hand around her waist. I smiled at the people before I said.

"AND THAT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN BRINGS AN END TO OUR TOUR, I HOPE YOU'VE ALL ENJOYED IT AND IT HAS MADE YOUR TRIP WORTH IT BUT IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK THEM NOW!" Chief Grant then asked.

"Do you think you can make my tribe some tools out of that gronkle iron you used to make those tough weapons of yours?"

"What kind of tools do you want?"

"Just some carving tools like hammers, chisels and other such things."

"I'll see what I can do." He nodded.

"While we're at it do you think you can tell me where my tribe could find some of the materials used to make the statues around your island."

"You'd have to go to Greece or Rome to find the material but it'll be worth it since they have some of the finest architects and sculptors I've ever had the privilege of meeting." He nodded as he said.

"Thanks lad." Levi then raised his hand.

"Yes Levi?"

"I was hoping to ask if you'd be willing to sell some maps to the places you've been to."

"And why do you want those?"

"Well as you know my tribe are nomads of the sea and I was hoping you'd be willing to allow us knowledge of how to get to some of these places since from the illusions that you showed us the majority are like nothing we've ever encountered." I nodded.

"Give me time to think about it." He nodded as chief Bassmouth said.

"While we're on the subject of sea travel lad I have to say I found those ships of yours to be quite impressive in design and was wondering if you'd be willing to sell some of their designs." I raised an eyebrow.

"You want to buy the designs to my ships?"

"And some of your ships themselves, especially that ship the dwarves made for you."

"I'll consider selling the designs but the ships themselves are not for sale, especially my ship from the dwarfs since that one has seen me through many a storm as have the others but the main reason is the ship the dwarfs gave me is connected to me and shall only answer to me so it would be useless to you." He nodded.

"Just promise me you'll think about selling me the designs."

"I promise." Sea Breeze then walked up.

"Yeah my question is, do you think I can visit your island while my tribes on Berk since I really had fun in your jungle and was hoping to enjoy swinging around in there a bit more?"

"As long as you give due notice before coming, kept under watch while on my island, respect the land and animals, remember the rules and don't touch any of the frogs than I suppose it's alright." She just raised an eyebrow.

"I get the first few rules but what's the big deal about the frogs?"

"Their skin is covered in a powerful toxin that could result in sickness, paralysation or death." Everyone's eyes widened.

"Why in the world would you have those things in your jungle?" I shrugged.

"They complete the ecosystem." I then turned back to the people. "Any other questions?" Umbra then walked up.

"Would it be alright if I came to your island and used some of your homes facilities like the library." I nodded.

"It'll be fine as long as you're escorted while you're here, don't try to steal anything, ask permission to come and respect the islands inhabitants." She nodded.

"I understand." Chieftess Marrow then stepped up.

"How much will you take for some of those weapons in your armory and the designs for those bombs of yours."

"I'll be happy to negotiate a price for the weapons but the designs for the bombs are not for sale."

"And why not?"

"The key to those explosives is a mineral known as spark stone which can only be found in my mines and is not something to toy with."

"Well then why don't you just sell me some of this spark stone?"

"Because in the wrong hands it could cause so much damage that who ever was messing with it would be nothing but splatter on the wall." I could see she didn't like it but accepted my answer with a nod before Geode walked forward.

"Do you think I could have a small sample of each of the minerals in your mine for study?" I shook my head.

"Absolutely not, some of those minerals are incredibly dangerous if you don't handle them correctly and can cause immense harm if they're set off." He looked saddened at this. "I will however be happy to provide you with a few samples of my other minerals from around the world and a copy of my notes on the minerals I keep in my mine." He perked up at this and smiled.

"I'd love that."

"Then I'll bring the samples by tomorrow sometime." He nodded.

"Thanks a mill." Chief Nigren then asked.

"Do you think you can give me the designs for some of your inventions?"

"Depends on what designs you want."

"Well if that's the case then do you think you could give me the designs to that bath house and ship shed of yours?" I raised an eyebrow.

"And why do you want the designs to those buildings?"

"I figure I could build a few bath houses on my island for my people and the ship shed would draw more people in since they'd have a place where they know their ships would be safe drawing in more business." He shook his head. "You would not believe the number of times a ships been stolen because it was left on the dock alone or the guards were fooled." I looked at him for a moment before I sighed.

"I'll think about it." I then looked out to the rest of the people and opened my mouth but before I could say anything he cut me off with.

"I'll pay you well for the designs and I'll pay you even more if you come back to my island with your dragons and build them yourself to speed up things." I turned back to him.

"I'll think about it."

"Remember lad, money is no problem with me nor is anything else you might want since I can guarantee you'll find it on my island." I opened my mouth to reply again since he was beginning to annoy me but before I could a familiar glowing green chain flew from the second level balcony and landed in front of him making him back up as the familiar voice of dear sister-in-law said.

"He said he'll think about it and that's the end of it." I turned and watched as Verta hopped down from her place landing in front of me. "Don't keep trying to persuade him with stuff because you're only going to succeed in annoying him." Chief Nigren stepped back a moment before he glared at her.

"And who do you think you are to talk to me like that lass?" He went for his sword. "I could have you killed for threatening me." He pulled out his sword as Verta readied her whip but before a fight could occur I activated my ox flame boots speed mode and ran between them making them both step back as I held my hands out.

"Enough you two, this is an entrance hall not an arena." I lowered my arms and turned to chief Nigren. "Please forgive her chief Nigren, she's a little on edge with new people on the island." He looked at me and nodded as I turned to Verta. "Verta keep your anger in check since I don't want any trouble with the other tribes my dear sister-in-law." She just growled but Blanca put a hand on her shoulder and whispered for her to calm down to which she nodded as Blanca lead her back to the stairs while I turned back to the chief. "As I said before I'll think about your offer chief Nigren but for now I need time to consider it so I as that you please be patient." He nodded and backed up as Chief Gilford then walked up and asked.

"How much will you take for the son of Fenrir?" I turned to him.

"Excuse me?"

"I said how much will you take for the son of Fenrir."

"Why on earth would you want Adal?"

"He's the son of Fenrir so he's bound to be powerful and help me in my fight against the gods when I take them on." He then smiled. "And I'll take those other wolves to since I think my men could use them as mounts while I ride the son of Fenrir." He then looked up in thought with a smile. "I'll be a legend that'll be remembered throughout ti-" That was as far as he spoke since I'd released my star sword while using my ox flame boots speed mode to run behind him and hold my sword to his throat.

"Let me explain something to you and do my best to make it perfectly clear to you." I pressed the blade closer to his neck. "The gods have gifted me with many things for my services to them and I am not going to betray their kindness by helping you harm them so don't bother asking me to sell Adal or any of my god made weapons like my star sword which I currently have against your throat, understood?" He nodded as I smiled and pulled my sword away and back into my arm as I walked back to Blanca. "Any other questions?" Chief Lokiroht walked up with a glint in his eye and said.

"How much for a few of your beasts lad?" I expected this question but that didn't mean I was ready for it.

"What?"

"How much for a few of your beasts lad?" He then smiled. "I'd love to get my hands on those jaguars in the jungle with those fine pelts of theirs or those birds with their colorful feathers." His eyes then landed on Zhang Yong who was looking down on us from the top of the stairs. "I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the pelt of that large cat of yours." He then looked down. "I'd also like some of the griffins you got flying around since they look like they'd put up a challenge while I could use your wolves for hunting dogs." I opened my mouth to reply but before I could he continued with. "Then again I'd be fine with settling for some of those exotic dragons you have." He then looked me in the eye. "So what'll the price be lad?"

"Nothing since as I said before they are not for sale." His eyes widened a moment.

"If you're worried I won't be able to afford it then don't be because I have-" I held up my hand silencing him.

"It's not about the money it's about the animals considering I raised the majority of them from infancy while my dragons are my friends and I think of all of them as members of my own family." Before he could reply Vaatu said.

"Family?" I turned to him as he rolled his eyes with his arms crossed. "Please they're just mindless beast who're only good for supplying good pelts, food and good sport when we're hunting them down." I felt my blood boil at this. "Why don't you just save us all some time and sell them to us since we'll keep bugging you until you give in." His eyes then turned to Blanca and Verta with a look of lust making me clench my fists in anger as he turned to me. "If you don't sell then don't be surprised if something should happen to that pretty little wife of yours." I'd heard enough and launched my prosthetic hand at him grabbing onto his neck surprising him as I growled.

"Never, ever threaten my wife or the blood eagle will seem like a slap on the wrist compared to what I'll do to you." I then reeled it back in forcing him towards me allowing me to glare into his eyes after the dragons that made up my eye patch opened up to reveal the eye of the dragon. "Do I make myself clear?" He tried putting on a brave face but I could see the fear in his eyes as he nodded making me growl out. "Good!" I then let him go making him drop to the floor gasping for air as he crawled back to the crowd. "Now if those are all the questions for now I'll escort you all back to my dwarf made ship and return you all to Berk for the evening." There were nods as I turned to Blanca. "I'll be back soon." She nodded before we shared a kiss and I left to deal with the visitors.

Five hours later

I was laying in bed with no clothes with Blanca who also unclothed laying on my chest as she gently stroke my chest while I just held her and looked at the ceiling while gently stroking her hair with my real hand and resting the back of my head with my prosthetic hand. We were both also covered in sweat after our latest activities, which Blanca was the one to begin with after she led me into the bedroom when I'd just finished taking a bath. As I stared at the ceiling I couldn't help but look back on my day and how it turned out in the end after I dropped off everyone back on Berk except for Dagur and Mala who were sleeping in their own room. After I dropped everyone off I could see the looks in some of their eyes, they were looks of desire, greed, hunger, envy and so much more but I knew they all meant trouble in the future. It was these thoughts that kept bothering me and I'm guessing how I felt showed on my face since Blanca gently caressed it drawing my attention to her as she said.

"I thought I got your worries off your mind for the evening." I sighed.

"What can I say, I'm not as easily calmed when I think there's trouble brewing."

"Those people really bother you don't they?" I nodded.

"I've dealt with their kind before and if there's one thing I know it's that things are never easy with them and because of this there's always trouble that comes with them." She gently ran a hand down my cheek as she looked into my eyes with concern.

"Hiccup, I can tell there's more to it than you're letting on." I ran my hand through my hair.

"It's just mainly what Vaatu said that worries me."

"About how he seemed to threaten me?" I nodded. "Hiccup, I'm touched by your concern but you need to stop worrying so much since I think can handle him." She then got a mischievous smile. "After all he simply sees me as weak girl instead of" I watched as her hair, lips and eyelids changed color while her scales formed while her tail formed and slithered out from beneath the covers. "a magic using snake guardian." She giggled as I let out a short chuckle.

"I'd love to see the look on his face if you showed him your true form."

"As would I but I can tell you're hiding something else from me."

"It's Ulrik and his family." She slowly transformed back to her human form as she looked down.

"I should've known." I raised an eyebrow as she turned to me. "I saw the way you looked at Ulric and his family along with the brand on the back of Ulrics neck." She gently placed her hand on my cheek. "Are you the one who did that to him." I nodded.

"The last time him and his family were here he kept bothering Astrid and when her parents turned down a marriage contract between him and her his father threatened war but my father and Astrids father got out of it by claiming me and Astrid were courting." I let out an annoyed sigh as I looked to the ceiling. "They didn't know I was back from one of my trips and hoped that with me gone then they'd have no problems but I then walked into the great hall letting them know I was back before they told me what happened."

"You weren't too happy with what they did, were you?" I turned back down to her.

"I was furious and attacked them but they were able to convince me to at least pretend to be in a relationship with Astrid to keep Ulrik and his family at bay."

"Seeing the annoyed glint in your eye I take it they caused some trouble." I looked up and shook my head.

"You have no idea." I looked back at her. "Freya would not leave me and Astrid alone whether it be asking Astrid about me or constantly flirting with me while telling me how she'd make a far better wife than Astrid." I groaned and rubbed my forehead with my prosthetic hand. "I couldn't get a moments peace when on the island and if it wasn't her it was her father who was always trying constantly asking me questions about the places I've been concerning their currency, what they used to trade and if there were any traders he could convince to set up shop on his island." I lowered my prosthetic. "And if that wasn't bad enough he tried to convince me to sell him maps to the places along with taking his men there to act as a translator for them and when I kept turning him down he told me every man had his price and he'd find mine." She gently stroked my hair calming me down as I looked down at her.

"Well I don't think you have a price he can afford." I smiled at her before I frowned as I sighed and laid my head back.

"Then there's Ulrik who kept pestering me for information about my dragons, asking me to train him one and then came the day he pushed me too far." I saw the worry in her eyes.

"What happened between you two?"

"He came to me with a caged and muzzled Devilish Dervish wanting me to train it and when I turned him down again he offered me a challenge."

"What was the challenge?"

"Me against him in a sparring match, if he won I'd train the dragon for him and give him both Toothless and Astrid." She nodded.

"And if you won?" I smiled.

"He'd give me the dragon, all the gold he has, he stops bothering both me and Astrid, his father leaves me alone and now I can go to their island and be treated with nothing but respect plus I got to brand the back of his neck as a reminder to him not to mess with me."

"He had it coming if he was willing to treat a dragon so cruelly." I nodded and caressed her face.

"I have the feeling him and his family along with members the other tribes might be causing some trouble."

"You're talking about the bridal candidates aren't you?" I looked at her. "I saw the way they were looking at you and I have to admit some of those girls were rather pretty." I smiled down at her.

"Don't worry, about those girls." I once again ran my hand through her hair. "They all pale in comparison to you my precious white scaled beauty." She giggled.

"You're too sweet but you know I wouldn't mind it if you took another wife or two." My eyes widened but before I could ask what she meant she continued. "Hiccup I'm a snake guardian and with my people it's not unusual for a male to have multiple mates but as to how many it depends on how powerful they are and their ranking among us." She then looked down sadly. "Most of the males who went through this only saw the females as a way to show their rank and power which made them arrogant and as expected it lead to them being killed in action." She then looked up at me. "I know you're not like them and if you do take on more wives you'll do it for love and not to simply show your power and masculinity." She then leaned forward as she whispered. "It's one of the many things that made me fall in love with you." She then leaned in and caught my lips in a sweet kiss that lasted a few seconds before she pulled away as I smiled at her and gently caressed her face.

"I admit the thought is tempting but for now I'd just like to enjoy having a single wife." She smiled.

"I understand but remember the offer's always there." I nodded as she snuggled into my chest allowing me to once again wrap my arm around her as she slowly fell asleep while I looked at the ceiling and thought that for now I needed to just relax and enjoy the peace before the problems came tomorrow before I joined my wife in the world of sleep.

Berk

Nobodies POV:

What Hiccup didn't know was that on Berk there were a few people who were still awake and planning to cause a few problems for him. One of these people was Chief Lokiroht who was currently on his ship looking over a rough map on a table with a few men including Vaatu and Zeva. He looked around at the men and smiled as he said.

"Alright men this is a rough sketch of the lads island." He then placed different colored stones on different sections. "These are the place you are to go to find the targeted animals and remember do your best to capture them all alive since killing them is my privilege." Vaatu who'd been examining a knife in his hands smiled.

"I'm looking forward to hunting those beasts down." Zeva then said.

"And I'm looking forward to being able to wear those furs of theirs." One of the men then asked.

"Won't the lad be angry if he catches us on his island?" Chief Lokiroht looked at him as Vaatu said.

"Don't worry, I'll be keeping him busy in the old dragon kill ring while you all sail to his island and capture his animals." They nodded as Chief Lokiroht said.

"Tomorrow we strike the island and get the animals."

Meanwhile on another ship the bridal candidate from the Moon Cutter tribe, Stella was busy examining her face in a mirror as she smiled. She originally volunteered to be the bridal candidate so she could marry Hiccup and get away from Nocturn for a bit but now she desired to sink her claws into Hiccup more than ever or to be more precise, his riches. She was amazed by what he had and knew he must've gathered quite the fortune from all his travels plus his island was incredible. The kind of life on the island was the kind of life she felt she deserved, a life of luxury and relaxation, the life of a woman with a rich and powerful husband. While Hiccups out on his adventures she'd enjoy relaxing on the island and the different luxuries it had such as the pool, the library, the beaches and other things.

She'd mainly be dipping into his fortune to buy herself some things that were her right to since if she married him the fortune would also belong to her. Her mind then thought back to Blanca and she growled knowing that she'd be an obstacle but it wasn't she couldn't handle after all she has yet to meet a man she couldn't control. She'd studied her aunts' techniques in manipulating people for the good of the tribe for years and eventually formed her own style of manipulation but she preferred to use it to get what she wants. She's used it mainly to control men and getting them to buy her stuff, do her chores or simply pamper her in various ways from cooking for her to massaging her feet. She knew Blanca may present an obstacle but manipulating married men was something she was no stranger to and felt that Hiccup would be no different than her other targets.

Other than these people the only other tribe that was thinking of plans that would no doubt cause Hiccup trouble for the rest of their stay was the members of the Grown Hills tribe. Chief Nigren was lying in bed wondering how he'd convince Hiccup to give him the designs for his buildings along with helping him convince the traders to move to his island. His original plan of making Hiccup his son-in-law went up in flames when he discovered Hiccup had already married but he hadn't given up hope of getting what he wanted since he could still try to negotiate with Hiccup and if that failed he'd have some of his men steal the plans.

Like his father Ulrik was lying in bed while also making plans that would lead to trouble for Hiccup in the future, as he hadn't forgotten the last time he and Hiccup met. He subconsciously rubbed the back of his neck where the scar was from when Hiccup branded him and not only humiliated him but ruined his chances of getting not only his own dragon but the Hofferson girl who'd have made a fine wife after training. He sighed knowing he couldn't challenge Hiccup to another fight knowing Hiccup would more than likely wipe the floor with him without even breaking a sweat considering what he did in the Great Hall. Ulrik knew Hiccup was holding back considering he wasn't even bothering to use any weapons and only his one arm and one eye. Ulrik knew if he wanted to get what he wanted which was Astrid as his bride it would take time to come up with a plan, time which fortunately he had since they'd be staying on Berk a few more days to get a few things in order and for his father to try get what he wanted from Hiccup.

While these two were making their plans Freya was making plans of her own on how to ensnare Hiccup and make him leave Blanca. She admitted that when she first met him she thought he was handsome, rich and she was curious about what his island and after seeing his island her desire for him only grew to new heights. She didn't know how she was going to deal with Blanca or the other girls who were after the position of his bride but she wasn't going to give up so easily as if there's one thing she'd inherited from her father it was his stubbornness. Freya lay back in her bed hoping she could dream up a plan she could put into action tomorrow since for now she needed her beauty sleep.

AN: Hey all I'm sorry if the tour wasn't exactly that descriptive but if I went into detail on every section and room on the island then I wouldn't finish till new years and I highly doubt any of you want to wait that long. Also if you're wondering yes Ulrik is going to be causing some trouble later on involving Astrid but if you're wondering what it is I'm not saying so be patient. Anyway in the next chapter we'll be seeing a bit of trouble, compliments of the other tribes so until then I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and will review kindly if you review at all since I'm a little disappointed at the lack of reviews. With all of this said all I have left to say is stay safe and have a nice day guys.
