As Yua, Amiya, and the doctor were on their way to a small town in Iberia, Yua was feeling ecstatic. It was a very long time since she had gone on any sort of family day out, even if it wasn't with her father and Amiya from her time. The last time that Yua remembered having a day out was with her father and mother on vacation, a few months before the Seaborn invaded Terra and her father disappeared. Yua knew that there had to be a connection between the two, first her father vanishing then a few days later the Seaborn invading many different nations. She had to find out why, but for today she just wanted to spend time with Amiya and her father.

Once they arrived at the small-town, Yua parked up the vehicle as she was the driver. Once they got out, they had a look around to see what there was to do. The doctor then spoke to the pair "So what do you girls want to do first? Any suggestions?" Both Amiya and Yua thought for a moment; Yua then spoke "I just want to have a walk around town, father. I just want to enjoy peace and quiet away from the landship." Both the doctor and Amiya had no problem with this; Amiya was just happy to be spending some time together with them, and the doctor didn't mind doing something that made his daughter happy. Deciding to agree with Yua's idea, the trio set off. Unbeknownst to them, however, a pair of eyes were watching them "Well, this is convenient." The person said to themselves.

As the three were walking through the town and enjoying the sights and sounds, Yua was thinking to herself, "This is so peaceful; no sea, no death or destruction, just peace. This is what I want to bring to this time." The Lung never had much of a chance to enjoy peace in the future. It was always fighting monsters, seeing both operators and innocent people die, and struggling to survive. Having this peace was complete bliss to the girl; even if this Terra still had problems of its own with catastrophes and oripathy, just getting to enjoy moments like this was priceless. This put a genuine smile on Yua's face, and Amiya could notice this. "What's making you so happy, Yua?" she asked her. Yua looked at her and replied, "Just getting to enjoy time like this, it means a lot."

Amiya knew that Yua probably didn't get to enjoy much of this while she lived in the slums of Lungman. Amiya couldn't imagine how difficult it must have been living there, and then Yua losing her mother to oripathy. She was going to do whatever it took to make sure her sister felt like a part of her family, even if they weren't related by blood. Meanwhile, the doctor was just watching the two of them talk and smile with each other, hoping one day when he had cured oripathy, he could see the both of them achieve their dreams and ambitions; he would do whatever it took for that to happen.

After a few hours, the doctor asked if they would like some lunch. Yua replied, "I just want a bit more time to myself, father. I will join the two of you soon." Accepting her answer, the two of them left to give Yua some space. Seeing a small hill, Yua walked up it and sat down once she reached the top; she then took out the amulet that her mother had given her before she left for the past. Yua opened it and saw the same picture of her mother, her father, and herself when she was really young. She owed her mother so much, Ch'en had given up everything so she could have this chance. Yua wanted to thank her so much. "I miss you, mother," Yua thought. Even though the Ch'en from this time wasn't the same, she would find some way to pay her back.

While Yua was thinking, however, she then felt something pointed at the back of her head; it was probably a weapon. A voice then spoke to her: "Well, what do we have here? I'm surprised that you aren't with your dad and Amiya." Yua knew who it was: "W! What is she doing here!" This caught the lung off guard; she wasn't expecting the sarkaz woman of all people to be here. Yua tried to turn around, but W warned her: "Don't think about turning around; you do, and I'll blow your head off." Yua could tell W wasn't joking by the sound of her voice; she was deadly serious.

Realizing that antagonizing W was not the best option, Yua stayed where she was. She stuck her hands up in the air and asked W, "What are you doing here, W? Why do you need to point a gun at my head?" W replied, "Well, after the incident with Amiya, Doctor Kal'tsit sent me away on a mission for a few days until the heat died down. I was just resting for the day until I went out and finished it tomorrow." Then, W added, "Then I saw you three here and thought of getting a bit of payback." This explained why nobody had seen W since it was revealed that Yua was the doctor's daughter; Kal'tsit wanted things to die down before she returned. W must still be angry that she can no longer control the doctor or the herself, Yua thought.

W then noticed an amulet in Yua's hand that she was holding up and grabbed it. Yua turned around on reflex and shouted "Give that back! It belongs to me!" Yua then had a gun in her face and very angry W looking at her. W said with incredible venom "I warned you not to turn around, do one more thing and I will shoot you girl, I swear it." Yua knew that W would do it if she tried anything else, ignoring her the first time was a bad idea, W wouldn't let her off again so she stayed still with hands in the air.

The sarkaz then opened up the amulet and saw a picture, studying it she saw the doctor, what must have been a young Yua and a blue-haired lung woman. "I swear I have seen someone like this before, but where?" W thought to herself. After a few seconds, it clicked "Wait a minute! This looks like that Ch'en from the LGD! But isn't she a bit young to have a daughter the age of Yua? And Ch'en here looks older, just what's going on here?" After some more thinking W's eyes widened and she started to laugh. Yua couldn't understand why W was laughing, but after she stopped, W looked Yua straight in the eye and told her "You are from the future, aren't you girl."

Yua's mind went into complete meltdown when W told her that "Oh no! She knows! She knows! I'm screwed! I'm screwed" Yua was turning incredibly pale; this was one of the last people on Terra that Yua wanted to know that she was from the future. W was loving this; she really did know everything about the lung, and she could use her how she pleased. W then grabbed Yua by the collar and told her "I will be keeping hold of this amulet, just as an insurance policy, I trust you understand what this means don't you." All Yua could do was simply nod. W then spoke again "Good, so I trust you that our little "arrangement" is back on, understand?" Yua could only nod again, W let go and then turned to leave. Before she left, the sarkaz spoke out to Yua "Not one word to anyone understand? When I am finished with my mission and whenever you are free, you will do exactly as I tell you, girl, remember that." W then left Yua with her thoughts "I'm still not free from W, and I can't do anything. Otherwise, everyone will know I have been lying to them...I'm trapped!"

After some time, Yua reunited with the doctor and Amiya. It had been a while since they last saw her. They were going to search the town they were in to look for her but called it off when they found her. The two of them noticed something was off with her, Yua had lost her smile from earlier. They tried to talk to her but she clearly didn't want to talk to them, she kept waving them off that she was fine. "Something has happened, Yua was not like this earlier. What could it have been?" Is what Amiya was thinking when they were on the way back to Rhodes Island. Yua didn't want to be in that town anymore and wanted to head back home, Yua was just focusing on the road and was ignoring the others. Amiya wanted to know who or what upset her sister. She wouldn't try pushing it today, and that could only upset her more. "I'll speak to her tomorrow, give her some time to calm down, maybe she will speak to me then." is what Amiya hoped.

Once the trio arrived back at Rhodes Island, Yua simply parked up the vehicle and left without saying goodbye. The doctor and Amiya were a bit hurt by this, but they knew best not to push her. Once back in her room she flopped onto her bed and groaned "Dammit, why did W of all people have to find out, now I'm at her beck and call, and I can't do anything because she has my amulet." This was the worst case for the girl. Things could not get any worse for her.

A knock was then heard at her door, and Yua spoke "Please not right now Amiya, I know you care, but I'm just not in the mood." The knocking at the door continued, and this just kept getting on the lung's nerves. Yua then got up from her bed and went to the door. She would tell Amiya that they could speak another time. When she opened the door, however, it wasn't Amiya who was there, but Gladiia, one of the abyssal hunters. Gladiia then spoke "Hello Yua, Doctor Kal'tsit sent me to speak with you, can we talk?" This was something that Yua didn't expect. What did Kal'tsit send Gladiia here for? She welcomed the abyssal hunter inside so they could speak.

Once they were both comfortable Gladiia then spoke to Yua "I know this may come as a surprise, but I have something to tell you, Doctor Kal'tsit wants you to be part of the abyssal hunters" Yua did not expect this "What do you mean Gladiia? Are you saying I'm part of your team now?" Gladiia responded, "If you so wish, Doctor Kal'tsit recommended it, you seem to have dealt with seaborn before, so the offer is there if you wish to take it, I have already informed the other abyssal hunters." Yua took some time to think about this. The abyssal hunters could turn into seaborn at any given moment, but they could also help prevent the future from happening. At least if she is with them, she can monitor the abyssal hunters and try to stop them from turning.

Seeing the positives and negatives, Yua then spoke to Gladiia, "I accept your offer, Gladiia, i will join the abyssal hunters." The aegir nodded. "Then welcome, Yua, tomorrow morning I want you to join us in a training session, I want to see your fighting capabilities first hand." Yua nodded. While she knew she was nowhere near the level of the abyssal hunters, she wanted to see how she matched up to them, also to find out if they had any weaknesses she could exploit if it came to it that she had to fight them in the future. Gladiia then got up and spoke, "Very well, I will now take my leave, I shall see you in the morning, Yua." The aegir then left Yua alone in the room.

Once outside, Gladiia was thinking to herself while she was on the way back to join her fellow abyssal hunters "Yua seems to have really taken the interest of Kal'tsit, Not just because she is the doctor's daughter, she must be hiding some incredible secrets, I must keep an eye on the girl." As she got to the room, Gladiia remembered one other thing."Those dreams that Skadi is having, could Yua be connected somehow?" Gladiia had told Kal'tsit about Skadi, She had been having odd dreams lately.

Strange dreams of countless death and destruction, seaborn killing everything indiscriminately, and a silver-haired figure, is is what Skadi had been telling her. "Tomorrow I will try to get more out of Skadi, for now I will need to see if Yua is friend or foe..."
