Usual warnings for Zee sex scenes lol
April 7th 2016 Brightedge City, Shadowcrest, 6:00 PM EDT
I spent the next several hours talking to Thorn, and honestly, it wasn't too bad. She was a sweet girl, if a little melodramatic. My Mammon persona was simple enough to keep up, and she was extremely vulnerable to flattery so the time kind of flew by.
Of course, I didn't spend the whole time on her, we drifted in and out of Tanya's conversation with Nightwing, which he was taking good advantage of to pump her for information, while most likely arranging to let her pump him for something else later. I didn't begrudge him the vampire pussy, I was going to be banging his ex later, so playing wingman wasn't a huge problem, plus he had the weirdest knack for actually digging up useful info with seemingly innocuous questions.
In the end we learned a pretty decent amount and even narrowed down where on the coast Mary might be. Nightwing stayed behind with Tanya to "continue questioning her" and Thorn and I left, heading for Shadowcrest.
As we arrived alongside the setting of the sun at six PM, I had to smile at the panic on Thorn's face. "Oh goddess. You were telling the truth. You actually know Zatanna Zatara. This is so wild, I can't believe I'm at Shadowcrest. Are you sure she'll be ok with you bringing me over?"
She was nearly hyperventilating from excitement, which was good, because it would make this much easier. According to my appraisal Thorn was a powerful latent magic user. Since her power was buried under the surface her rank was pretty low. But to be G ranked purely from untapped potential the girl had to be seriously juiced. F or maybe even E rank once we popped her cork.
The issue being that if I branded her right now I'd miss out on a ton of points I could get if I waited. Since I didn't exactly have the income here I did in Gemworld I'd decided to introduce her to Zee as an apprentice like I had Jinx. Once she was ripened up a bit I'd plant a mark on her cute little ass.
I'd still be able to fuck Zee tonight, and if Thorn 'happened' to overhear then there was nothing I could do about her developing a fixation on the dragon who she caught deep dicking her new magic mommy. Not foolproof granted, but since she already seemed a little fangirlish over both of us I wasn't too worried about it not working.
We climbed out of the car and headed up to the door. I ignored Shadowcrest probing at me. It wasn't a huge fan of me, but it left me alone mostly. It knew Zee liked me so it didn't start shit. Hell, it was C ranked but that was the whole house. I wasn't sure it could even take me anymore. With the magic that spread out I could probably blow my way out with my Primal Force if needed.
Zee came to the door looking disheveled and annoyed, but once she saw me she perked up. "N-Mammon." She corrected herself, seeing Thron. "And who is this?" Her eyes weren't cold exactly as she took in the other girl, but they weren't friendly.
"This is Thorn." I said obliviously, ignoring her irritation. "She has a latent magical ability and I thought she might benefit from talking to you." I smiled charmingly, I'd taken to keeping my mask altered so I could eat, and it made interacting easier since people could see my expressions, or at least part of them. "You ARE the most talented magic user in the city after all."
She preened a bit at that, albeit reluctantly. She knew I was buttering her up, but she also knew that her fat jiggly ass was mine to use as I pleased. I could have just made her teach the girl. The fact that I was bothering to flatter her meant I was respecting her as a partner. Well, it meant that to her. My preference not to force my people to do things had more to do with my desire not to have to micromanage than with any actual kindness.
She gave Thorn a kind smile. "Oh, well I'm always happy to talk to another practitioner. Come on in. You can head to the library, my apprentice is in there studying, I wanted to have a word with Mammon before we meet up. It's right down that hall" Thorn smiled shyly and followed her directions before my sorceress turned back to me. "Another one? Really? I have work to do Nicky. I can't spend every night with my face drenched in pussy juice. I'm not Barbie."
I snickered a bit at how true that was. My redhead had been repressing some serious pussy thirst until I broke her in. She hadn't been shy about fucking men even when I first met her, but the whole self loathing bisexual cliche had been Barbie to a T. Half the reason she'd had such a hate boner for Zee at first was that she wanted to fuck her. Now that she'd tasted cunt she was up to her ears in girls every day, even if she always made time for her daddy.
Zee, in contrast, was mainly driven by her research, even if I'd trained that magic pussy to crave me, she was obsessed enough with witchcraft to ignore it unless I was right in front of her. Which I was. I grabbed an ass cheek and yanked her against me for a rough kiss. Nipping her ear I muttered. "My poor baby. You feeling ignored? I'm not planning to fuck Thorn or anyone else today, I was hoping to spend some time with my favorite little witch."
That broke through the professionalism and drew a shudder from the sorceress. I saw her eyelids hood as she glanced up at me lustily. "You think you can take this pussy in the middle of the hall without them even knowing? You must be pretty confident in your ability to own my ass."
I grinned. Zee was a blast to fuck. Her insistence on playing the reluctant hero slut being conquered was a good time whenever we played around. I shoved a hand down her panties, hooking two fingers into her cunt as I pressed her back against the wall. "You gonna make me take it bitch?" I knew how Zee liked it. A bit of degradation made resisting more fun for her. I felt her cunt clench around my fingers in enjoyment and had to bite back a smile.
"You sick fuck." She hissed heatedly. "You think you can just paw at my pussy? Fucking scum like you make me sick, doing whatever you want to all the good girls. I won't surrender to that fat fucking cock." Her words were almost rabid with hunger and excitement, and I took the liberty of reaching up to wrap a hand around her throat.
I heard Thorn slipping back out to check what was taking us so long, and could sense her shocked stare. I'd put the choke on Zee because her roleplaying might freak the poor thing out if she heard. With my hand around her neck my little magic whore could only rasp out her venomous barbs in a low whisper. I leaned in and kissed her roughly, hissing in her ear. "Take my cock out bitch. If you're a real heroine you won't be scared of taking some thick meat."
She shuddered in near ecstasy, reaching down to paw at the front of my pants desperately until my cock bounced free. Zee moaned as she grabbed my dick, her eyes unfocused with lust. She started to jack my dick as she hissed out. "You like this? You like my soft little hands on your fat evil cock? You're sick. Making a good little catholic girl beat you off in the hallway like a whore. Is this what gets you off you monster?"
The whole act would have been more convincing if A, I couldn't feel her desires through my ability, and B I couldn't feel the dripping juices from her cunt running down my hand into my palm. I reached up and ripped away her low cut shirt, letting those fat tits bounce free, and I slapped one quickly, getting a ragged moan of approval. "You think a real villain will be satisfied with your hands bitch?" I growled. "Climb up on my dick whore. Mount me like the little skank you are and I might be merciful and let you go."
She almost snarled as she lunged forward, almost knocking my hand off as she fucking climbed me like a jungle gym, she yanked her pants and panties down her legs to expose her ass and cunt, and with more flexibility and energy than expected, set her pussy to the head of my cock and let herself fucking DROP. I felt my dick smash into the back of her cunt so hard it drew a harsh grunt from her like she'd just been tackled, but the grunt was followed by a moan.
She started to ride me, and I had to let my head drift back as I felt the connection between us again. Sindara had the sweetest hole of any of my girls, but no one fucked quite like Zee. Not because the physical, but because I could feel her sloppy cunt wrapping and my fucking SPIRIT while she rode me. I slammed her back into the wall, shoving my hips up into her.
She was panting and mewling and throwing her own hips back, and I grinned up at her mockingly. "You ready to give in and take my dick slut? You gonna surrender this pussy?" She already had actually, quite a while ago, but Zee still enjoyed her roleplay and I liked the spitting clawing fucks she gave me more than most sex. Her fat fucking tits bounced free as I took the pussy, wet smacking sounds drowning out the mutters of our verbal sparring.
Her eyes rolled up at the mocking. "You sick son of a bitch." She moaned. "You're ruining me. You've soiled my pussy. This disgusting fucking cunt is so hungry because of you. You like this you asshole? You like forcing good catholic girls to become cock hungry sluts? You might as well just put a baby in me and finish the job. Turn me into a fucking brood mare for your evil dragon children. You gonna do that you sick fuck? You gonna breed that witch and make her carry your despicable offspring?"
I felt her cunt practically riot around me and knew she was getting off the idea of me knocking her up. I wasn't going to obviously, not with three kids already on the way, but I could play along. "Fine." I said smugly. "Get your womb ready. I'm putting a baby in you." Her eyes widened, the game fading to be replaced by nervousness. "Wait what?' Nicky don't nut in me right now. I'm not sure my birth control will work on dragon cum."
Her cunt fluttered again as she said the last words, probably thinking about the charge it gave her. I let go of her neck and slapped one tit and then the other. "Too late. You're getting my nut. Take it bitch." My balls clenched up and I jammed myself into her deep as I unloaded into her unprotected pussy.
Of course she wasn't going to get pregnant, but she didn't know that, and I was thrilled to feel her fucking explode on my cock as she felt me finish deep inside her, orgasming like a fucking bomb over the idea of me putting a baby in her. As I pulled out of her and helped her to her feet I made sure to turn to show my still hard cock to the hall in a casual manner. Since she was G rank it was easy to tweak Thorn's desires even from a distance. Someone was going to be fingering her little pussy to this tonight. I set Zee down. "Alright." I said with a smack to her fat bubble ass. "Get dressed we have things to discuss." It would be so much easier to focus now...for me at least.
April 7th 2016 Brightedge City, Shadowcrest, 7:00 PM EDT
After I finished up with Zee and let her get dressed I made her clean me off with her mouth before putting my dick away. She rolled her eyes at me as she saw the small movement behind us indicating Thorn slipping back into the library. "Of COURSE you made sure she noticed." She staggered slightly when trying to take a step and I caught her, receiving a glare from the sorceress. "Did you have to wreck me to make your point. Not that I don't enjoy a rough fuck, but won't be able to focus through the soreness."
I rolled my eyes as I noted her glowing eyes. "Please, your pussy is a magic reactor right now. You know how my cum supercharges you. You'll be healed withing ten minutes. You're just lucky I didn't decide to take that ass for a ride again. You wouldn't have been able to keep so quiet if I had." Aside from loving my cum and the way it made her feel, Zee had a serious anal kink. The idea of letting a man stuff her ass was apparently somehow dirtier than asking me to put an 'evil dragon baby' in her. Catholics.
When we got to the library Thorn was sitting at the table, blushing brightly but trying to talk to Jinx and not meet either of our eyes. Zee smiled brightly at the two of them as we entered. "Oh, you two are getting along! Good. Jinx, Thorn here is going to be studying with me for a bit as a favor to Mammon." She shot the little goth a wicked smirk. "He has high hopes for her, and I'm going to make sure she'd ready to take it all."
Thorn's face lit up like a stop sign, and her eyes went wide as she tried not to look at anyone. She didn't argue though. I smirked. Well that was taken care of. Now that I was here though, and had gotten my nuts drained, I had actual business with my magical girl. Still, I couldn't resist one last dig. "I'm sure she'll prove up to the task. She strikes me as a flexible girl." Turning away from her, I focused on Zee. "I was actually hoping to get your help with something. You heard anything about vampires in the city?"
She shrugged. "It's Gotham, so yes." Then she grimaced. "Or, not Gotham anymore I guess. Still, fangbanging is almost a regional sport. The gloomy atmosphere and complete lack of care for the disappearance of lower class people make it super friendly for them here. We keep an eye out, but it's easy for them to avoid scrutiny. Most of the well known ones at least pay lip service to being good citizens, and they tend to police the others, so we don't fuck with them." Her smile turned a bit wicked. "Well, not MOST of us. I know a certain bird boy who thinks nobody knows about his suck buddy on the side."
I snorted at that. "Yes, that Tanya woman certainly seemed willing to indulge him in his desires. I'm surprised he let something like that slip around you, given your prior relationship." I'd assumed based on the cheating suck that had taken place between them while he was with Barbie that he would have been interested in keeping Zee open as a potential sexual partner. Though I guessed banging a vampire wouldn't necessarily rule that out.
"Oh he didn't." She said with a snicker. "But I'm more connected to the supernatural community here than he is, and Tanya is a braggy slut. Being the bat brat's suck mommy was a decent rep boost, so she naturally told everyone about it." She shrugged. "Not my business, we weren't together so what do I care who he's messing around with. I only expect monogamy from my actual partners." Then she frowned at me. "Or I USED to."
I decided not to comment, since I doubted anything I could say would make that thought a comforting one. I just refocused on the issue at hand. " Sadly, there are a new group of vampires hoping to make our fair city their home. Mary Seward and her coterie. They are apparently inclined to beachfront property, if that helps you narrow down their possible location."
Zee cursed. "Fuck. The Queen of Blood is here? That means the Order is probably in town. Bad news. No ones like those fanatical assholes. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to kill me too. They're obsessed with human purity, and magic users are hardly better than monsters to them. Of course, some of THEM are magic users, but for some reason they don't seem to count."
Yeah, hypocritical racist fanatics weren't exactly a shock. "I had heard as much." I lamented. "We have another party dealing with the Order, so my hope is that they won't be a concern. Regardless, I will prepare appropriate countermeasures for their involvement. Do you have any sources for finding the location of Seward's lair?" It would certainly save me some time, and Magnus some effort.
It wasn't to be though, she just shook her head. "No. My sources are pretty much useless after the combination of time away and the changes to the city. Not that they don't exist, but more that no one knows what the fuck is going on. It's bedlam out there."
I'd been afraid of that, but I hadn't been expecting different. "Maybe some kind of location spell?" I said hopefully. "Mary is an ancient vampire, she must be outputting a substantial amount of power. Perhaps you could use a spell similar to the one we tried last time to find the focal points for that ritual?" As long as she could further refine my search Magnus could make a much bigger difference.
She looked thoughtful. "I might be able to manage that." Her blue eyes were still swimming with green power, and I had to hold back a chuckle at the knowledge that she had plenty of energy to burn because of me. Zee stood up and wandered over to pick up a map, bringing it back over and laying it down on the table she prepared to cast her spell before stopping and staring down at the rolled up paper in consternation.
"What?" I said cautiously. "You said you could do it right?" All I needed was a radius or something, combined with the whole sea angle there was no reason to think I couldn't figure out where Mary was. I'd seen Zee do something like this before so it should be fine.
She scowled at me. "This is a map of Gotham." I cocked my head, clearly not getting the issue. She rolled her eyes. "This is a map of Gotham, and we no longer LIVE in Gotham." I paused for a second, before groaning in annoyance. She was right. Since the merge the city had changed. I didn't know if that would effect the spell, but Zee was the magic expert, if she said it was a problem it probably was.
I frowned for a second. "Bring me some paper and a pen." She looked at me strangely but did it. I grabbed the pen and started to sketch the parts of the city I'd been in from memory. Not just a layout, but individual pictures of places I'd seen that had been changed. Once I had a few of them I asked if I could have the map, and when she confirmed she didn't care what I did to it I merged all the papers together one after the other, starting with the general layout and adding in the detailed pictures.
I had to draw out more than a few of the things actually, since while the map itself was I-rank, so were all the papers, so they had to be merged together before I could merge them into the map itself. I was just lucky I'd experimented with cascading merges already, because doing it one at a time would have been super fucking annoying. The final result was only G rank, but it would be damn useful.
[Appraisal function activated. Treasure detected. Gaze of Brightedge-G rank. A comprehensive map of Brightedge city that allows the viewer to change their view and angle, and even provides basic information about the location in question upon request.]
Eleven hundred points was nothing to me obviously, so I didn't bat an eye making it, and I figured Zee could study the thing for fun. Not to mention it would probably be useful to me in the future. When I explained what it did, her eyes got really wide and excited. Thorn and Jinx looked amazed, but they were both amateur enough of at magic to assume I just did some over the top wizard shit to make it. I wasn't worried about them learning about my ability in any case as long as they didn't learn the details.
"I...I can work with this." Said Zee excitedly. "Not just for this spell either. Can I keep this?" Her eyes were intense as she shoved her face into my personal space, pupils dilated from excitement. It was clear that she was almost as excited about the new apprentice. Poor Thorn.
I rolled my eyes and passed it to her. "Yes, here, take it." She squealed with glee and snatched the paper, not worried about it tearing, which was fair. It WAS G rank. As she turned to scurry over to another table and slam the paper down, she began murmuring to herself. She snatched up a few candles, lighting them with a flicker of her will and setting them up around the map in a configuration somewhat in the shape of a star. Reaching into pocket she pulled out a long chain with a crystal on it. I wondered if it had been there or if she'd conjured it like she had the replacement for the shirt I'd ripped.
As she swung the silver chain over the paper I saw the crystal begin to glow. With each swing the light brightened, growing in intensity as it lowered closer and closer to the map without ever actually touching the paper, the swings becoming wider and wider while still managing to barely avoid knocking into the candles somehow.
As I watched, the light of the candles began to warp, somehow drawn toward the crystal and slowly twisting around it, forcing the shadows of the candle flames to elongate and flicker as the roamed over the map, seeming to grasp and take across the surface. As they pulled the map zoomed and scrolled as the description said it could, slowly dragging the image in closer until the crystal finally smacked down on the table hard enough to rattle the candlesticks.
This was slightly different than the last search spell, but since that one had burned parts of the map I was happy enough with the results. Zee moved the crystal, showing me an area on the coastline that was sadly still zoomed out enough to be several miles of space in the real world. I wasn't worried though. I'd only needed this much. My new pup could sort the rest out. This was more than I had expected honestly.
Zee gestured to it proudly, hands on her hips. "Hah. See. I told you I could find it. Anyway. That's all you needed right? Off with you, I need to give my new apprentice an introduction on the house and my magic style." I smiled at her rushed words, knowing she wanted me gone because I distracted her. With a goodbye to Thorn and Jinx I turned and strolled out of the house, climbing until my car as I got ready to head home. I had to go pick up Magnus. I'd left him at the house during my meeting. I hoped the girls hadn't spoiled him too much. Sadly I was pretty sure that wouldn't be the case. Getting him to leave might be tricky. Oh well, I could always merge some dog treats.
April 7th 2016 Brightedge City, Grayson Pier, 10:00 PM EDT
"You think you're real fucking cute don't you?" I asked my dog archly. The furry little bastard had basically taken over the house, and I'd had to basically pick him up and carry him out to get him away from the girls. Magnus gave a soft whine and put his head on my thigh, looking soulfully up at me with shimmering, mournful eyes as if to accuse me of wronging him somehow.
I rolled my own eyes. "Ugh. Fine, you're pretty cute. I'm not petty enough to get into a bitch fight with a dog, so consider yourself lucky. Still, you better do your best when we're searching around here. Find me an actual lead and I'll continue letting you exploit the girls for treats and pampering." Magnus yipped seriously, sitting up to give me a purposeful nod, which made me smile. This fucking dog was way too smart.
Stepping out of the car, I released the dog too, not bothering with a leash since it was dark and no one was around. He wasn't going to run off on me, he was too smart for that. Plus if needed I could catch him easily enough. "Alright." I said to prompt him. "Get started sniffing. Don't bring us too close though. I don't want to get sucked into a full on battle down here in the middle of the night. We just want to identify where they are." I'd come back once the sun was up. Fuck playing fair, I was going to kill these assholes and steal every valuable thing they owned.
Magnus meandered down the street, winding back and forth as he sniffed delicately. There was surprisingly little noise from him as he worked, despite the sniffing. Whoever had trained him had done it really well. The dockside area I was in was a strange mix of residential and seaside property.
It wasn't a loading dock, but more of a luxury dock for anchoring things like yachts. The houses nearby were also extremely well made and impressive, big expensive estates, and as walked, Magnus wound closer to first one, then the next. Finally after about twenty minutes we approached a specific mansion, a dark and glooming looking place out of a Tim Burton movie, and my dog stopped and growled again.
He started to bolt forward, but I reached down and grabbed the scruff of his neck. "Cool it, bud." I whispered. "It's too soon." I pulled him as far away as I could get while maintaining a decent vantage point and we sat down to watch the place. We were far enough away that the vampires shouldn't notice us. I watched for a few hours, seeing if anyone went in and out.
In the end I confirmed some things. This WAS where the vampires were living. Or unliving I guessed. There were a few inside, but not Mary from what I could tell. My guess was that she was out hunting. I could theoretically attack the bastards and wipe out the weak ones there, but that didn't really benefit me. It would just scare Mary off and then I'd have to track her down again.
So, as I'd planned, I brought Magnus back to the car, ready to retreat. We were far enough away that I wasn't worried about being noticed...until I was. Of course, the people who had snuck up on me weren't Nightwing. I noticed them pretty far out, and I could have fled if I'd wanted to, but I had no fear of a bunch of crazy humans, no matter how dickish they were. "You can come out." I said in a bored voice.
There was a scuffling as a series of figures surrounded my car. I looked around in annoyance. A sea of ridiculous humans in stupid red masks and goggles. They looked like the bad guys from a G.I Joe cartoon. "You dress like idiots." I informed them tactfully.
I knew who they were, of course. I'd been warned. I just didn't know what they wanted. One of their number stepped forward, the others falling back to reveal an average looking man in the same kind of rough durable clothing, but with no mask. The man was thin and had a shaved head and a scruffy five o' clock shadow. His eyes were cold and vindictive, ice blue and locked on me. "Monster." He intoned. "We warn you one time. Stay away from our prey."
It was hard not to snort at the German man. "Ah, that confirms it. You are the Order of the Van Helsings then ? I was told your organization was like the Inquisition, but less likable. Clearly reports of your affability were greatly exaggerated. I'm assuming this is where you threaten me? Stay out of your way or die?" I was curious to see what they thought they could actually do to me. I wasn't sure if they knew I was a dragon, but they had to know I was SOMETHING.
The man, Van Helsing, I guessed, bared his teeth at me in an expression that really couldn't be described as a smile. "Oh, you will die either way. If you stay out of our way, we may deign to let you delay that event while we deal with more important problems. If not..." He raised a hand, and all the masked figured raised weapons, training them on me.
Some of them were assault rifles, some were flamethrowers. I even saw a rocked launcher mixed in there. I yawned. "Ah, I see. If I don't give in to your demands you're planning to bore me to death. A bold strategy, and one not completely out of the realm of possibility. I've always been easily bored. I'm not sure the weapons will be enough though, are you confident that you can continue to be as boring as you currently are throughout the whole attempt? Because I suspect even someone like you might become interesting by mistake if you try to kill me for long enough."
Van Helsing let out a harsh laugh. "Monster, there will be no 'long enough'. You will die here tonight, a victim of your own hubris, and as the life fades from your abominable eyes, your last thought will be to curse your own name. For you could have avoided th9s fate, if not for your arrogance. If I don't end you tonight, I myself will die in the attempt. Let it not be said that Van Helsing knew fear when facing a beast."
I snorted out a laugh at that, dropping my formality as I responded. "Yeah, that's super impressive and hardcore, or at least, it would be if you were actually here. Since these are all golems you rigged to explode on death though, the noble sacrifice rings a bit hollow."
Van Helsings eyes widened in shock. Honestly I had to give him credit though. If I hadn't had my appraisal skill I wouldn't have even noticed his little plan. Rigging up the golems to detonate might have seemed like a reckless and easily avoided plan, but it was actually kind of genius. The non zero chance of it killing me wasn't really the important part though. The masterstroke was that even if it failed, the golems would be eradicated, and I would have been free to assume the Order had been wiped out. They'd have free reign to operate in the city undetected until they were ready to strike.
"I have to admit." I said conversationally. "I was wondering how you'd been active for so many years without being wiped out. I mean really, you'd think vampires would be better at holding a grudge. But seeing this little plot of yours I kind of get it. You're ruthless detestable bastards who do anything to get results. I respect that. Not enough that I won't kill you if given the chance, but I respect it all the same. However, now that your little plot has been uncovered, don't you think it's time for you to go?"
The antagonistic baring of teeth faded into a mask of blank neutrality. "Oh?" He said calmly, all trace of hate and vitriol and condescension gone. "And why would I do that." I smiled internally. This was an actual opponent. Someone harsh and brutal and disciplined, not to just to others but to himself. As I suspected, being able to survive the anger of a faction like the vampires for so long wasn't a fluke.
"Because you aren't stupid." I said in a moment of surprising honesty. "You were willing to burn these golems knowing they couldn't kill me, because you wanted the anonymity of being 'dead'. Now though, I already know that these things aren't you. Wasting them on me will annoy me at best, and at worst spook the vampires, who we both know are nearby. Forcing them to move without getting anything in return and wasting resources in the process? No. That's pointless."
He tipped his head in acknowledgement. "You are...less foolish than expected, creature. Often monsters of your pedigree become stupid and proud." His smile this time was small and sharp, flickering into existence like a switchblade. "A true adversary then, for after our enemies have been vanquished." He shrugged. "Or perhaps before, should the opportunity arise. You are not wrong, however. These decoys could be used on an unwary target. Wasting them here would be foolish."
Deciding to return him dumb question for dumb question I smirked. "Oh, and how do you know that I won't kill them anyway to eliminate future trouble?" The answer was obvious, of course, but he'd wasted my time so I felt like I should waste a bit of his. This whole thing had been unnecessary and I was definitely petty enough to make him miserable over it.
He seemed to understand because he rolled his eyes, turning to leave even as he spoke. "Because breaking some toys isnt worth ruining your own plans. You don't want to alert them either." He waved back over his shoulder as he walked away into the darkness. "Farewell creature, may we meet again when you least expect it."
I rolled my eyes, pulling out my phone and firing off a text to Silver. I wasn't going to chase them down and try to deal with them, but I didn't want my proxies wiped out either. The Court had already been infiltrated, even if they didn't know it. It would be annoying to take control directly or wait for a replacement organization before I could arrange for the city to become properly mine.
I turned to Magnus, gesturing off at the vanished golems. "Can you believe these assholes? Man if they had burned up the paint on my car I'd have showed their asses what a monster is." Magnus snorted in disbelief and I glared at him. "Hey, I don't need your attitude dog. Don't think that just because you're cute sometimes I can't do anything to you. Unless you want a flea bath every day for the rest of your life you better behave."
Despite him being kind of an ass at times, I really liked this dog. The way his eyes widened in alarm was pretty hilarious, and as I let him into the car he hoped up into the seat, facing ahead angelically as if to show he could be good. I reached out to scratch behind his ear gently for a second before I got back into drivers side to head back to the hall.
We knew where the vampires were, next step was to actually arrange for a raid. Honestly, I could probably take them all solo, with the exception of maybe Mary, who Tamlin considered dangerous and who might be C ranked herself. Still, if I just showed up and went nuts I'd break all their stuff. It made more sense to gather a posse and hit them in the daytime when we could eliminate them with as little fuss as possible. That meant I had to do some prep work. Time to merge some new vampire killing toys.
April 8th 2016 Brightedge City, Hall of Nevers, 10:00 AM EDT
After the arrival of the depleted promethium stockpile (dad finally got it shipped out) I was back up to around five million GP, which meant I had plenty of points to make a weapons cache. I'd also managed to stockpile a serious chunk of items in Gemworld, and after contacting Zee for a location, sent Cherry to go pick up a bunch of useful vamp hunting items I could use for merging.
Naturally, I wasn't stupid enough to waste a ton of points making single use objects, so I went with quantity over quality. My new weapons and items were still pretty useful, but I was limiting them to G rank, which should keep costs down even if I pumped out a decent number of the things.
The base materials were easy to gather luckily. A few flash bangs to act as a foundation, a few stakes, some crosses, a couple of bags of paintballs, and a few tanks of flamethrower fuel. Basically every basic weapon form that is useful against the undead. From Gemworld I had a decent bit of magic sunstone and some Garnet that would let me work in some blood based effects.
Since they were so good at this kind of thing, I even let Amy, Cherry, and Barbie sit in with me while I worked. Dinah of course needing to sit things out given the already stern talk they'd given me about 'reckless endangerment'. I swear, knock one bitch up and suddenly everything you do is under a microscope. Well...three bitches. But they only knew about two of them right now anyway so I didn't count Mordiel.
"I admit." Said Amy in fascination. "I only vaguely remember how vampires work. Before I went to Gemworld I read Dracula like everyone else and saw some movies, but it's been a long time, and fictional monsters, or ones I thought were fictional at least, faded from my mind when there were real ones to be slain. Can you walk me through the thought process for each of these choices?"
I shrugged. "Sure, nothing complicated. First up is the flashbangs. I'm planning to merge in the sunstones to create sun bombs. Probably won't be strong enough to instakill the older ones, but most people have trouble concentrating when they're suddenly on fire. Especially if they were just sleeping. Flamethrower? Second verse, same as the first, add more fire. Probably gonna mix in some holy oil or something."
Cherry snickered at that. "The paintballs are less contradictory to that effort than they might sound. I'm guessing you're going to make holy water of some kind? The cross makes sense to me too. What I'm curious about is the stake. Like...staking a vampire already kills them doesn't it?"
"Sadly, no." I said with a grimace. "Not directly. I talked to Siegfried about it. Staking a vampire is a way to kill them, but only because it completely immobilizes them to be decapitated. He also said older vamps are immune to the effect, or at least highly resistant, so pounding in a stake for Mary isn't likely to work, nor her oldest courtiers. I'll explain the deal with the stakes in a minute. Lets test out the sun bomb process first. Cherry how many flashbangs did you get?"
The grinning ghostly girl hauled a bag up off the floor to let it thump onto the table. Opening it, she slowly laid out twenty or so flashbang grenades. The grenades stood upright on their own, dark green and thin with a blue stripe in the center of a cylinder that had holes punched out along the sides to reveal a fuse. I used appraisal.
[Appraisal function activated. Treasure detected. M84 Flashbang- H rank. The standard issue stun grenade of the US SWAT forces. Upon detonation, releases a loud bang of 180 decibals and a blinding flash of more than a million candela within five feet of point of release.]
I whistled at the specs. Not overwhelmingly effective on their own, but this was definitely the secret sauce. I raised an eyebrow at Cherry. "Where the hell did you get a bag of SWAT issue flashbangs?" She smirked wickedly and I held up a hand. "No, wait. I know where you got them and I'm almost positive you're just trying to piss off Barbie. Remind me to lock you two in a room and let you go at it for a few hours until you're friends."
Despite the scoff, I considered Barbie's faux casual glance at Cherry's ass when I said that a good sign. "Anyway." I said, dragging their now wandering attention back to me. "These are perfect. I have an ass load of sunstones that can work for material." Pulling out an H rank sunstone I tossed it toward the first grenade and triggered the merge, focusing on exactly what I needed. I only bumped it to G rank, but given the materials and what they were already made for, it was an easy change.
[Appraisal function activated. Treasure detected. Daybreak grenade- G rank. A special tool created for the destruction and disabling of vampires. The Daybreak grenade releases a burst of concentrated sunlight into the room for twenty feet from point of release, accompanied by a special high frequency burst of noise triggered in a register only the undead can hear.]
I grinned as I picked up the new device. Made of bronze and filled with glowing yellow liquid that bubbled ominously, the Daybreak grenade was everything I'd hoped it would be. I passed it to Barbie, giving her the rundown on what it did, and she looked ready to try the thing out right in the room with us. I gently took it away from her with a smirk. "You can have dibs on using the first one, but why don't we do the rest of them first."
Barbie clearly adored weapons and devices, which should have been obvious given her whole schtick as batgirl. I saw her pocket a few of them, but honestly I'd made extras anyway, with all the other weapons we wouldn't need twenty of the damn things. The next few items were easy enough to make. I didn't have holy oil or anything, but I had crosses, and sparing a few of them to merge with the paintballs and the tanks for the flamethrowers.
[Appraisal function activated. Treasure detected. Holy paintballs- G rank. A series of paintballs imbued with sacred energy, enhanced effect against unholy entities such as vampires and demons.]
[Appraisal function activated. Treasure detected. Cleansing fire flamethrower- G rank. A flamethrower modified to emit holy flames. Particularly effective against profane entities such as vampires, demons, and evil spirits.]
Perfect. I upgraded the rest of the stock we had of each. I knew the paintballs wouldn't be as effective, since despite being G rank as a group they were individually weaker than that. Still, I wasn't fucking upgrading every single paintball to G rank, points aside that sounded annoying. I could probably have kicked them all up to F rank and gotten a similar effect, but honestly combined with the other items the mild burning effect should work fine.
Reaching into the bag, I pulled out a stake. "Now." I said as I held it up. "Like I told you before, I have an idea for the stakes that I think you all might be interested in. Part of the reason stakes are effective against vampires is they represent life, which is antithetical to the unnatural undeath caused by vampirism. Same with the sun. It's a symbolism thing. Mary and the others are probably going to be mostly too strong for normal stakes to work on them. Which is why I'm going to try this." Pulling out an emerald, I triggered the merge and then appraised the result.
[Appraisal function activated. Treasure detected. Lifebound stake- G rank. A stake infused with the power of life itself. Antithesis of death, the lifebound stake is particularly useful for destroying necromantic constructs and the undead. Designed to find the heart of its victim, the stake is an excellent counter to master vampires, able to immobilize them for centuries if left in place.]
The result of the merge looked...weird. As I explained what it did to the girls I stared in fascination at the greenish white wood shot through with veins of glowing green emerald. The object practically dripped with vitality to my eyes. Which gave me an idea. I reached out to grab the object, focusing on my own magic, and then I SHOVED a bit of Primal Force into the mystical structure of the weapon.
With life energy already coursing through it, I had a pretty good starting point. I'd been a powerful vitality based dragonkin for a while, and I was still that, though I was also so much more. The green lightning of my Primal Force supercharged the stone veins in the stake, making them intensify and shift subtly, changing the nature of the object until...
[Appraisal function activated. Treasure detected. Primal Stave- F rank. A weapon of earth and might and life. Bane of the dead.]
It had changed. I didn't get the points for that obviously, I never did when upgrading things I already owned. Still, that would be a nice little trump card. We only had about ten of these stakes, but I could effectively make F rank items for G rank prices, which meant we would be much better able to protect ourselves. Not just the girls either. If Mary was C rank she would be a bitch to take down. I didn't think an F rank item would kill a C rank vampire, even one specced for it, since I knew for a fact she had some resistance, but I also doubted she'd enjoy the process of taking the business end of the weapon.
With the leftover crosses I managed to merge some new ones that were a bit more attuned to vampiric enemies, but honestly it was mostly just aiming their potential a little better. Crosses weren't inherently magical in as much as they channeled the power of faith, so tweaking the target of that power was about the best I could do here. Passing out everything to the girls, I grinned at them all. "So, anyone have any other ideas? These things should be enough to take out as many vampires as we find."
Barbie looked extremely excited by the weapons. "I can even go in costume. Killing things isn't ok with me, but vampires are dead anyway, I have no problem taking out a monster." She spun the stake in her hand in the same way I'd seen on a few episodes of Buffy, and I had to mentally remind myself we were busy as my cock stiffened. Note to self, vampire slayer roleplay with Barbie.
Amy giggled at the enthusiasm. "Of course darling, we'd be glad to have you along. You're so loyal and driven." She stepped up next to Barbie, giving my redhead an affectionate hug. "We're lucky to have such a devoted and courageous retainer. I'm so glad we're friends Barbara!"
I had to stifle a laugh at the way my redheads face turned almost the same color as her hair at the comment. Cherry looked like she was trying not to snicker too, but I think she was afraid Amy would pull her into a group hug if she made a sound. Despite the sweetness of the moment, I couldn't help but applaud my wife. She was much better at managing people than expected.
She didn't use the same overbearing style as I did, preferring to catch flies with honey (unless those flies were an uppity greek bitch trying to take what was ours I supposed), but she was able to cover for my blind spots. "Alright." I said, cutting them off. "I think now that we have our weapons our best bet is to move out. It's the middle of the day so they'll be sleeping or at least weakened. Let's go fuck up some vampires."
April 8th 2016 Brightedge City, Grayson Pier, 12:00 PM EDT
"Huh." Said Cherry from beside me. "This place is less swanky than I would have expected. Like I know our house is pretty amazing and there was no way it could compete, but still, I expected more than this." Most of the girls I brought along this time were E rank, with the exception of Amy of course, but Cherry was still at the F rank and allowed to come anyway.
Aside from her ghost abilities, the Soul Shredder was a legit D rank weapon, and being able to bond with it gave her the ability to do serious damage. Walking through walls and having a super dangerous sword was pretty much peak combat efficiency. I'd also brought Barbie, Sindara, Waylon, and Sally (Waylons sweetie, not my new goth in training. I wasn't going to waste the work of snagging the pretty witch to be by putting her against vampires).
The whole crew was strong enough to be seriously effective, though I'd left out Strega because I was concerned her blood manipulation would be more of a hindrance dealing with vampires than a help. Barbie, of course had to snipe at Cherry when she brought up an opinion, and immediately disagreed. "I think you're just too used to the luxury. This is a pretty fancy house, it's not the vampires fault they can't compare to our daddy."
Cherry, usually unperturbed by the redhead, shockingly sneered back at her. "Our daddy? I think one of us cares more about him than the other. Have you even made any time for him lately? Or have you been having so much fun with all that muff diving you don't need him anymore? Maybe you should just give up on him entirely and be the live in pussy polisher. I'll let you practice your tongue work on me even. You can get me ready for him."
I was honestly surprised by the venom in her voice, but when I looked over I caught a quick wink from my little ghostie. Someone was playing matchmaker. I smirked internally, knowing I'd be getting a nice rough fuck from Barbie out of the angst. I'd make sure to pound some worship into her when I did it too. I could have two devoted redheads praying to me by the time I was done.
Sure enough, despite being brilliant, Barbie was easily riled by Cherry. "How dare you!" She hissed darkly. "I care way more about him than you do you sociopathic whore. Just because I keep the other girls entertained doesn't mean I PREFER them. No one is as good as my daddy. But he's busy sometimes, and I enjoy the company."
"Alright." Said Amy soothingly. "That's enough girls. Barbara, no one is upset that you spend time with the other girls, but if you're feeling ignored I'll make sure you get the evening to yourself tonight with Mammon. Charise, don't tease her, you know she adores him. It isn't nice to start arguments." She reached up to put an arm around each of them. "Really girls, this silly rivalry is pointless. We're all one big family. When are you going to put this grudge aside."
Cherry was the picture of innocence, but Barbie looked like she was sulking. Finally, the redhead sighed. "I...I guess at this point it's a silly grudge. We're both his. I'm still upset about what she did before, but I know Mammon is too smart to let her run amok like that again. I suppose I can try to at least be a bit more reasonable. If she promises not to take shots at me."
My specter's face melted into a happy smile as she agreed, and I saw Barbie roll her eyes as she caught on to the plan. It wasn't important right now though. "Everyone have their weapons?" I asked, forcing them all to focus back on the matter at hand. "Once we're all strapped for sure Cherry will go in and scope the place out." I fixed her with a pointed glance. "Be careful. Just do a once over to check the numbers, stay invisible if you can. Also if you catch some of them in the open maybe drop a Dawnbreak grenade in the room as you bail."
She grinned at me widely before vanishing in a flicker of mist. I chuckled at the theatrics, but settled in to wait, watching the house for any sign of a disturbance. My little ghost was too useful to lose, if things went bad I could always just blast my way in. That would be a waste of planning and equipment though, and I doubted it would come up. Cherry had been able to rob the Opal vault, so this should be a piece of cake.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Sindara looking at me nervously. "I've been doing a bit of research, and I think I, might be able to help out with this. If you want to let me try." The gorgeous living lich hadn't been doing much since we got back from Gemworld, and I knew it bothered her, so since we had to wait anyway I figured I'd let her show her stuff.
She held out her hands, murmuring for a minute or two under her breath. The words were...weird. Faint and indistinct, but not like they were too soft, more like they were somehow insubstantial. Like the vibrations were dissolving into nothingness. Finally, she opened her eyes, which blazed green, and held out her hands. The shadows nearby collected into a series of pools, and out of each pool rose a black crystal skull.
The skulls were lit with ghostly green fire, and they drifted through the air lazily, bobbing up to float at about eye level with Sindara. She turned to grin at me, looking a bit shaky. "These." She said gesturing to them. "Are a new kind of construct I've been researching. Obsidian demiliches. It's a unique kind of being that I was able to create by mixing my living lich abilities with my bloodline. They absorb lifeforce when they bite something, as most demiliches do, but they're also much more durable."
She looked so proud of herself I had to smile. Reaching up to pat her head I gave the things an appraising once over. "They're terrifying." I said matter of factly. "That's fantastic. I kind of wish I'd had a chance to send them in before Cherry." I paused to think. "Actually, how far can they go from you? Can you send them in with a bunch of grenades to drop?"
Unlike Cherry, I didn't care if the demiliches got crushed, so exposing them to the vampires after they woke was fine. She looked excited by the possibility and we spent the five minutes we had to wait for Cherry to come back pulling the pin on the Daybreak grenades and letting the liches hold the clip down with their teeth. Took a few tries and I got bit, which actually kind of hurt, but finally we got them all ready, just in time for my ghost to reappear.
"I'm back." She said quickly from behind Sindara, who almost jumped out of her skin. She hid her smirk as the Opal girl whirled to glare at her for the scare. "Ok, so good news and bad news time. Good news, they ARE asleep. I even peeked into some coffins. They're there and unconscious. Bad news, they're ALL in coffins, so the bomb thing wasn't a viable idea. I considered dropping one into a coffin, but only taking out one vampire with seemed like a waste of the twenty grenades we have since theres fucking fifty of them."
I winced. "Yeah, that'd do it. Good plan though." I pondered for a minute or two. "Ok, how heavy are the coffin lids? We talking heavy wood caskets, stone lid crypts, shitty wooden boxes shaped like a ring pop?" I gestured at the demiliches. "Like could one of those things open one without using their teeth?"
She shook her head. "Wooden caskets, but big ones. I don't think one of those could get an angle. Though I guess it might be possible to knock them over? I guess they would have protection though."
"Fair enough." I said thoughtfully. "Alright. Sindara? Can these things make noise?" At her affirmative I finally got a plan together. "Alright, perfect. So here's what we do. Send the three skulls each with a grenade in there. Have them try to scream for attention. If that doesn't work then try knocking over a coffin to make some noise. Once the vampires open to check drop the grenades. Try to hit as many as you can get with the three you have. Once we spark up a few of the bastards we bust in and hose the place down with the paintballs, then do a once over with the flamethrowers to get the ones we missed. That should take out the little guys so we can focus on the big fish." I patted the stakes on my belt.
To my surprise, even as the demiliches entered the house, Barbie raised a hand. "I can help too actually. The sun is a star, and my bloodline magic is star based. I should be able to fire blasts of concentrated sunlight with a bit of time to tee it up. Won't work on more than one of them, but it WILL work. At the very least it should hurt like a bitch. Think you can give me the time?"
That was a pleasant surprise, and I told her I'd make sure she got to test it out, and that she should work with Zee on the ability and others like it when she had the chance. Which was about the time there was a huge flash of light, followed by two more, from inside. Grinning at the girls, I bolted forward toward the house, making sure to dragon shift to my full hybrid form as I did.
I hit the door at speed, smashing it apart, inhaling as I did, and spat a ball of green fire at the first figure I saw, planning to destroy another vampire before they could process what was happening...only for my flames to smash into a new figure, a massive black furred werewolf, and roll off the monster, almost harmlessly.
There was a musical laugh as a redhead appeared from behind the beast, patting his head. "Good boy." She cooed, then turned to me. "You know, that wasn't very nice. You killed almost a dozen of our fledgelings. Would have been more without our...friends here." She gestured to the surrounding room, which was filled to the brim with fucking werewolves.
A quick appraisal told me that they were exactly what I thought. Fear constructs. The fucking Fear host had partnered up with the vampires faster than I'd expected. I looked around, but he wasn't here. Or at least, if he was he hadn't been at the meeting like I'd thought. Either way, he clearly didn't require proximity to function. I sighed. "Miss. Seward I presume. I don't suppose I could convince you to just leave town?"
She laughed again, still musical, but scornful as well. "You? No. I came for a reason, and I absolutely won't leave. But don't worry. You aren't going to be upset about it for long. Because you're not leaving here either." She flashed me a fang filled smile. "Part of my payment for these lovely servants, I'm afraid." As the girls made it through the door behind me and pulled up short, I grimaced and got ready for a fight. We might have to pull our of here. If we did, I'd make it a point to find and kill that fucking Fear host before we met the vamps again. Asshole caused me nothing but problems.
Fun times. Next chapter we get to see our boy throw down with a powerful vampire as well as figure out that some of the things that have been happening in town are connected in ways even he didn't expect. As usual hope everyone enjoyed that chapter and the next 10k words are available on pat-reon at that site /malcolmtent
