Chapter 186

Hiccups POV:

It's been four weeks since my sand phantoms had their eggs and, in that time, not much has happened besides the usual things with me helping on Berk and enjoying some down time on my island. I'd mostly been enjoying my down time by spending time with Astrid and Blanca, enjoying some time with my animals, flying with dragons and gryphons, training a bit and designing some new automatons. Besides that, the only interesting thing that's really happened is the weather's calmed down enough for traders to begin coming around again, so we were able to do some business.

One such trader was a man named Bjork who arrived a week ago and was new to the trading profession but had heard good things about Berk and its wares, so we took a chance on him. To describe him he was skinny like most traders with little muscle

I admit he did have some good things on his ship so I browsed his wares myself while he was staying docked on Berk for a few days to recover from a small blizzard that through his ship around a bit leaving his ship unharmed but leaving him a little uneasy. My dad was happy to allow this as long as he was willing to be guarded whenever he came into the village and I couldn't blame him though since we didn't exactly have the best history with traders.

First there was Johann who turned out to be working with the dragon hunters and trying to get rid of me, then there were the three traders who were working for Johan and Dammen who dragon napped Cloudjumper to sell at an auction. So far Bjork has proven to be trustworthy and didn't put up any complaints about needing to be guarded when he was in the village and even then, he mostly stuck to the market area. I wasn't so sure about him though with my history with traders, so I had my ninja wind keep an eye on him from the shadows just to be safe.

I admit besides that things had been calm but not all was good as it was during this time of winter where the risk of getting sick was at its highest so sadly the people of Berk had been catching colds, stomach sickness' and other illnesses. We couldn't buy any medical supplies from Bjork though since he didn't have any whatsoever since he'd made a few stops along the way to Berk and traded all his healing supplies. I admit I had more than a few of the needed herbs on my island and I was happy to share them with Berks healers but the big problem was some of the needed ingredients were hard to get all year round due to where they grow. The place I'm talking about is the bottom of the ocean making it near impossible to get what was needed so we mostly relied on traders to get these supplies from villages who specialize in harvesting underwater plants. This led to me designing and creating two new automatons that were set up as a set since they were made to work together allowing me to collect as much of the plant I needed.

To begin with there's my 'Supplying sea horses' that were half the size of my head and as the name implies is made to look like large sea horses and were built to gather items. The main design of these sea horses is they have a thin spine that runs down their backs using small poles to move them left and right to help steer the way they go. At the top of each of these poles is a single luminescent stone mixed with depths sapphire allowing them to light their bodies up and shed light on the rocks or plants they were collecting. To help them move around fast I installed small fans next to the fins that rapidly spin right pushing the sea horse through the water towards where they needed to go while using their spine to steer.

As for collecting the materials, the way they worked is they have two separate fans in their bodies with on at the back of the head and one in the lower body with both spinning left so they're sucking in instead of pushing out. Inside their bodies is a glass container that allows them to safely store the item they've harvested until it could be unloaded and sent through the tail to their next container. The way they collect items is through their snouts that suck up the smaller items like sea algae and other types of sea plants that grow on rocks.

There were also the ones I built who didn't collect the resources that grow on rocks and its these ones that got a minor adjustment with how they collect items. These ones had bodies that have two sets of two fingered claws in their bodies with one set on the upper part and the other on the lower part. Beneath the lower set though is a tiny rotating saw that is pushed out and cuts the material so it can be pulled back into the sea horses' body where it is stored until it can be put away. Their tails opened at the base by flipping open like the lid of a chest using hinges I put in so their tails would open backwards allowing the items they collected to be dropped out into the next container.

As for the materials they were made of, their bodies were mainly made of gronkle iron mixed with depths sapphire in order to make sure they weren't affected by the water pressure. Their spines were made of waterproof leather making it easier to move so they could easily steer where they were going. Their tails were pipes with cranks inside them and lined with leather allowing them to uncurl and release what they had collected into the next container. Their eyes were made of peer stones mixed with dive stone, connected to my eye allowing me to see what they see while a life stone mixed with depths sapphire in their heads allows them to function.

As for the automaton they are paired up with, it takes the form of a large jellyfish with a body that's around half the size of the fully-grown sea turtles I'd seen in Hawaii. These automatons are named 'jelly fish collectors' because they are able to help gather more stuff with the supplying sea horses that they're set up with. The way it works is the sides of their bodies outer shells are fitted with five indents that are designed to fit the bodies of the sea horses in them. The inside of these bodies had large glass containers that are shaped like the bodies and could be removed with the tops being lined with bubble stone to form an air bubble inside preventing any leakages. Each of these automatons had four tentacles placed on the inside of their outer shell and around the container, that they used not only to get around but also to act for defense, grab onto things and remove the glass containers before replacing them with empty ones. In order to see I gave them four peer stones mixed with dive stone the size of my own eyes and placed in between each tentacle so they'd be able to keep an eye on the sea horses.

For the materials they are made of the jellyfish's outer shell is made of gronkle iron mixed with depth sapphire allowing it to remain underwater without being damaged by the pressure. The tentacles are made of the same material, but their joints had gears allowing them to bend while the ends have latch stone so they can grip things easily. Built into the middle of the jellyfish's outer shell is the life stone that allows it to function and circling around it is depths sapphire mixed with luminescent stones so it could act like a beacon for the sea horses.

As for how they work the slots in their bodies have holes in the bottoms for the sea horses to put their tail in and these holes lead into the containers that are in their bodies. The sea horses then empty their containers by using the fans to push the contents out of the containers, through the tail and into the glass containers in the jellyfish's bodies. When their containers are fully emptied, they'd be released to go gather more until the container in the jellyfish's body is full allowing more of the herbs to be collected. When the jellyfish containers are filled completely, they would return to my submersible ship that had been given some alterations to the cargo hold so it would be able to help me collect from these automatons.

This alteration was a slot in which the jellyfish would float down into them before extending their tentacles into slots that I built into the sides of the slots pushing the tentacles into the ship's cargo hold before they begin spinning their tentacles around like a windmill. By doing this they twist some cranks that open the slot beneath the jelly fish allowing them to use their tentacles to lower the full container onto a waiting table before I give them an empty one to fill. Once their containers are fully replaced, they rotate their tentacles in the opposite direction closing the opening before they go to collect more of the stuff while I put the filled containers on a shelf I installed on the wall with special shelves to hold them and the empty ones. So far, I'd built two of these jellyfish with enough sea horse automatons to fit in their slots so ten of them and would've made more of them but I wanted to give them a test run first to make sure they worked.

This all brings us to now with me, Astrid, Blanca and Toothless in my submersible ship, after taking my new automatons out for a test run which I feel was a complete success if the shelves full of glass containers containing different sea plants was anything to go by. The reason Astrid and Blanca were with me is because I thought it would be nice to take the trip with them since the bottom of the sea is a peaceful place so we could relax a bit and Toothless is here because he worried about me.

Presently I was looking out the water as the fish swam by while Astrid and Blanca were at my sides doing the same as me and Toothless was just lying behind us napping. I rolled my eyes thinking about Toothless and mentally called him a lazy lizard, but I couldn't blame him since there wasn't much he could do in my submersible ship. It was then the ship began to surface waking Toothless up and giving us a view of my island making me smile but my smile only lasted until my eyes landed on Berk. The second my eyes landed on the village I felt incredible dread and fear as the houses were smoking and using my eagle eye, I saw that some of them had holes in their roofs and walls from fires. Seeing this I ran up to my room and out the top door as I yelled out.

"TEPHRA, HEAD TO BERK AT YOUR TOP SPEED!" As soon as I said that I had to grab the door frame due to the increase in speed.

Nightfall

I was sitting in my private study going over all I'd learnt today and to say I was angry would be the biggest understatement ever made in the history of Midgard. I learnt that while I was out testing my new automatons, Berk was attacked by a group of pirates who launched a few volleys of flaming arrows setting multiple houses on fire. Berks guard couldn't do anything to help with the enemy due to being in bed with what was originally thought was a bad case of food poisoning, but we now know it was a poison. My father and Skullcrusher were able to lead a counterattack though and while my mom and cloudjumper took care of the fires and Gobber handled the anti-siege weapons. Sadly, it wasn't enough as during all the chaos someone stole all of Berks treasure and if that wasn't enough a lot of people were left injured in the attack.

The thing that made my blood boil the most is the fact that one of the people who was injured was little Ylva who was now in Gothi's hut, unconscious with some bad bruising, cuts and a concussion while her house was nothing but a pile of burnt wood. When I found out what happened Blanca had to turn into her half snake form and wrap me after throwing her snake wrapper around me to stop me from going on a violent rampage. After half an hour her and Astrid were able to calm me down enough to think straight and talk to my parents about plans to rebuild the destroyed huts. As for the ones responsible, my father was fortunately able to catch four of the pirates who were going to be interrogated tomorrow and I was going to be there.

As for Bjork, I had a feeling he had something to do with it but I couldn't question him since he'd left this morning half an hour before I left on Tephra to give my automatons a test run. To me this was suspicious and I wouldn't be surprised if he had something to do with Berks treasures disappearing in all the chaos but I couldn't be sure. For now, though all I could do was interrogate the prisoners and find out what they know before going after the one who's truly responsible for all this pain.

I stared at the flames of my burning fire and knew that tomorrow the pirates I was going to interrogate were going to answer my questions but before they do I was going to make them regret ever setting foot on Berk. For now, though I was going to have to wait till morning so until then I needed to rest up and be ready to make tomorrow the most painfilled days those pirates have ever had. As for Bjork, if he had anything to do with this attack like I felt he did then I'd hand him over to Alvin with a few requests to ensure he didn't have a day without pain ever again. With these thoughts in mind I stood up from my couch and left the room to head to bed and get some rest for tomorrows events since things were going to be busy with reconstruction, tending to the wounded and interrogating the prisoners.

Afternoon the next day

Today has been nothing but busy for me leading all of my dragons who could help out with construction and resource collection before assigning them their posts while putting Vikings in charge of small teams to supervise them. Blanca however was busy helping out the healers tend to our wounded using some of the herbs I brought back from my test while Astrid and Stormfly helped the Berk guard patrol the island from the sky by scanning the oceans. My mom was mostly doing patrols of the island, keeping an eye on the dragons and the Vikings that were supervising them in case there were any problems.

Now I was making my way to the Berk dungeons with my dad towards the interrogation room where the pirates were being held until their interrogation could begin. It was then we came to a gronkle iron door with two men wielding spears on either side of it who stood to attention when they saw us but I ignored them and pushed the door open leading my dad in. The room was made of stone with a torch in each corner providing light and in the middle of the room were the four prisoners, all tied to chairs that were lined up while the men were glaring at us. My father walked up and said.

"Alright lads, why don't you make things easier on yourselves and answer our questions, starting with why you attacked Berk?" They all just glared at us before the second one from the right said.

"We aren't telling you anything, in our line of work secrecy and reputation is everything." My dad glared at him as he clenched his fists.

"You can talk now or you can talk later after I've removed some of your teeth." They all just chuckled as the one on the far left said.

"Please, we've been threatened with worse than that, you overweight pig." I could see the rage in my father's eyes when his weight was mentioned but before he could reply the door burst open with a man running in saying.

"Stoick, we've got some issues at the villages main barn and need your help." My father growled before I turned to him and said.

"Dad, go deal with this problem, I can handle these pieces of trash myself." He nodded before he patted my right shoulder.

"Just don't overdo it son." I nodded before he was led out of the door and when it closed one of the men said.

"So is daddies little boy going to throw a tantrum until we talk." My back was to them as they all laughed so they didn't see my eyepatch unfurl revealing the eye of the dragon as I said.

"You don't understand something." Their laughter stopped as my prosthetic took on its dragon claw form while I turned to face them to see the fear in their eyes. "My father's interrogation methods are slaps on the wrist compared to what I'm willing to do you pieces of filth." They leaned back in fear as I began walking towards them.

10 minutes later

I walked out of the interrogation room with my prosthetic back in its usual form and my eyepatch was back in place so the eye of the dragon was covered and my golden prosthetic was covered by my coats sleeve. When the guards saw me, they backed up in fear and I couldn't blame them since the scum I was interrogating did scream pretty loudly when I got the information I wanted. I could tell they were curious to know what I did to them but I just raised my hand and gave them a look that told them it was best not to ask what I did to which they nodded as I made my way out of the dungeon while going over what I learnt.

From my interrogation I learnt that they weren't pirates, they're mercenaries for hire and they were hired to attack Berk and cause some chaos but why though they did not know. They were to wait for the signal to attack by the one who hired them letting them know that I wasn't around and it was the perfect time to attack Berk. As I suspected it was trader Bjork who hired them, poisoned the berk guards food and during all the chaos snuck back onto Berk with some men to steal Berks treasure. They didn't know where he could be found exactly but they told me where I might be able to find him, a place called the 'Eastern Boar Hunters Market'. I'd never heard of it but I had the feeling my parents might have at least heard some things about it so I can go there and bring Bjork in to face punishment for his crimes while getting Berks treasure back.

7 days later

It's been seven days since I interrogated the prisoners and, in that time, I've been helping out on Berk mostly since we needed to be prepared in case of another attack. If it weren't for the need to make repairs to the village I'd have gone after Bjork right after I learnt where I might be able to find him so I could bring him in. Then there's what I found out about the 'Eastern Boar Hunters Market' and from what I've been told I was going to need to keep my guard up in that place. My parents explained it was a village of the Northern markets except with nobody leading it and instead of merchants they have a few bars and people for hire. The thing about this place though was it is the place you go to in order to find mercenaries, crooks, assassins and other low lives for when you want to cause some trouble but not get your own hands dirty. My parents weren't pleased to hear I wanted to go there but after I reminded them of what happened and all who'd suffered they let up but warned me to be on my guard.

I left on my ship with Toothless, who refused to let me go on my own, a day later after letting the girls know what was happening and although they wanted to come I told them that Berk needed them more now than I did. This got them to stay but it didn't stop them from not liking it and after seeing the place once I finished a two-day long trip I could understand why. This place was a filthy outhouse with dark alleys, thugs fighting in the streets that were covered in filth, drunks past out against the walls, women selling their bodies and other disgusting things. When we first docked I sent out my ninja, each with a scouter and an order to find Bjork but not let him know we were here since I wanted to be the one to let him know he wasn't going to get away with what he did to Berk and what he did to Ylva.

After they found him they followed him to the pub where I had them ninja stay hidden on the roof with my scouters in case Bjork either left or tried to make a run for it when I entered the bar which I knew was not a place I wanted to stay for long. I'd used my golden falcons earlier to make sure it was him and what I saw made my blood boil as he was sitting in a corner booth smiling smugly with a woman on each arm while he gloated about what he did on Berk. He claimed it was his brilliant plan to only have the mercenaries he hired attack Berk after I left so they'd have more time to cause even more chaos so he and his men would have even more time to rob Berk blind.

This brings us to now with me walking through the streets of this outhouse market towards the pub where I knew that piece of filth could be found. I walked up to the wooden door and knocked a few times before a slot was opened up with a set of eyes glaring at me from the other side before the eye's owner said.

"Password?"

"I'm looking for Bjork!" The eyes just glared at me.

"No password, no entry." The slot closed but I was in no mood to deal with this after finding out what Bjork was doing so I knocked again and when the man on the other side saw me he said. "I told you no password, no-" I cut him off by reaching in through the slot with my prosthetic and grabbing him by the neck of his shirt and pulling him right through the slot head first making a larger hole in the door and pinning his arms to his sides.

"There's my password."

He just stared at me in shock while I channeled a green crystal as I put my hand on the handle and lock of the door melting them off before I pushed the door open. When I walked in everything was quiet with all the people looking at me in shock as I looked around the room and saw it was a typical pub if not filthier than what I'm used to. As expected there was a bar at the far end with a few drinking barrels stacked up behind it, a few tables set up around the place with people sitting at them, a few girls with the men wrapping an arm around them, a few targets with knives and aces imbedded in them on the wall and everyone staring up at me from my place on the platform with four stairs on it. My eyes then landed on Bjork who was staring at me in both shock and fear before I yelled out.

"UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP WITH A HEADACHE LIKE THE GUARD AT THE DOOR THEN GET OUT AS I AM IN NO MOOD TO DEAL WITH IDIOTS WHO THINK THEIR TOUGH!" Bjork must've thought he could escape in chaos by what he said next.

"YOU HERE THAT LADS, HE THINKS YOU'RE ALL WEAK IDIOTS!" Men stood up at this while I felt my spider pack slip a few smoke bombs into my hands. "I SAY THAT IDIOT NEEDS A GOOD BEATING AND WE'RE THE ONES WHO ARE GOING TO GIVE IT TO HIM!" There were roars of agreement as men stood up but I just smirked.

"Too easy!" I tossed my smoke bombs around the room scattering them and filling the room with smoke before I jumped into the smoke as the screams of the women echoed through the room.

Five minutes later

The pub was an even bigger mess then it was originally with tables over turned, chairs shattered, men lying unconscious in various positions with one man even laying beneath a dented mead barrel that slowly drizzled its contents onto him. All the women had fled the pub after the smoke bombs went off leaving only the men and a quarter of them fled realizing they didn't stand a chance against me. I had my ninja guard the door since I didn't want anyone interrupting my interrogation of Bjork who tried to flee in all the confusion but didn't stand a chance.

Now my prosthetic was in its dragon claw form and I was walking up to the leaking barrel with a goblet in hand as the sound of groaning filled the pub mixed with the sound of a whimper of fear. I pressed the goblet against the barrel and let it slowly fill up before I turned back to the pub and examined the damage I caused before I shrugged thinking it was an improvement. My eyes then landed on Bjork who was the source of the whimpering but then again, the man was currently tied up and hanging upside down with his hands pinned to the side of his body. I smirked at this while mentally thanking the dragon forge for my spiderpack since it's what I used to tie up Bjork and hang him from the ceiling. I walked up to him as I held up the goblet and said.

"I stopped drinking this stuff after I got my mead from Valhalla but I like the sound it makes when I throw it on garbage." I then threw the mead onto his face making the man sputter. "You know that stuff is also pretty flammable." I then smirked at him. "Want to find out how flammable it is." He immediately began struggling in fear but I wasn't really going to burn him, I just wanted to scare him a bit.

"Hiccup, please I was only following orders." I raised an eyebrow.

"So, you're saying the only reason you poisoned my people, set my village ablaze, robbed us blind and left a little girl I think of as a little sister seriously injured is because you were simply following orders." He nodded. "Whose orders were you following." He gulped.

"I can't tell you that, he'll kill me." I glared at him as I grabbed him by the throat while unravelling my eyepatch revealing the eye of the dragon to him.

"And if you don't you'll live but you'll be begging for death every day for the rest of your life." I channeled a blue crystal making lightning run around the fingers. "Now why don't we get started on that first punishment." I raised my prosthetic hand making his eyes widen but before I could begin reaching out he yelled.

"IT WAS BOARSNOUT!" I lowered my hand and raised an eyebrow.

"Keep talking!"

"He runs a crime ring, we work by stealing tribes' artifacts, treasures and heirlooms before selling them off to the highest bidder except for the ones that catches his fancy, he adds them to his personal collection."

"What role do you play?"

"I'm the one who sabotages the tribe defenses, hires the ones who distract the tribes and steals what we came for."

"And why was Berk targeted?"

"Boarsnoutcaught wind of Berk recently coming into a lot of treasure so he figured with the winter blizzards cutting back it meant you'd have a harder time following." I nodded. "And he wanted you out of the way since he's heard stories and knew going up against you would mean big problems."

"Where I can I find him?" I saw him hesitate so I raised my prosthetic arm. "You can tell me now or you can talk after a few bolts of lightning loosen your tongue."

"He lives on an island surround by sea stacks and whirlpools." I raised an eyebrow.

"How do his men get to the island then?"

"There's a safe route through the sea stacks that avoids the whirlpools, Boarsnoutdiscovered it years ago and used it to gain access to the island where he set up his base and even if you do get there he's got multiple anti dragon defenses." He then looked at me nervously. "You'll never be able to get there by ship or dragon." I smirked at him.

"You'd be amazed what I'm capable of and what I have at my disposal." With that said I released my prosthetics rotating blade and launched it at the line cutting him down and letting him fall into my arms.

"So, are you going to let me go now?" I looked at him.

"Yeah, I'll let you go once we've reached Berk and my father has you in his arms." As soon as he heard this he began struggling again as I carried him out and back to my ship with my ninja surrounding us.

Four days later

It's been four days since Bjork's capture and in that time not much has happened other than the reconstruction of Berk, Bjork being questioned and almost killed by my father, him revealing where I could find the island his boss is on, me using my golden falcons to take a look at the defenses, his forces and of course picking out who to take with me on the attack. After two days of planning I decided it best most of my dragons stay behind since they were still helping make repairs to Berk but Toothless would still come since he'd be mad if I left him behind.

Along with him I was also going to be taking Amr since he'd be helpful in neutralizing any men who tried to either escape or attack and destroying their defenses. I was also bringing Phlegon and his chariot since during my free winter time I'd been running some tests with them and discovered some new abilities that the chariot has that I knew were going to be a great help in this attack. First thing I learnt was crossbows can come out of the sides and fire arrows made of fire that can turn an entire tree into a charred stomp in seconds which is an ability that would be helpful when dealing with catapults and watch towers. I didn't have to worry about the flames hurting anyone though since if it hit a person it wouldn't kill them it would turn into a flaming bola that would wrap cocoon them like my bola wrapping arrows. Archers firing their own arrows at us wasn't going to be a problem since the second ability was to create a flaming shield around both Phlegon and the chariot burning the arrows. Finally, the back end could pour a liquid onto the ground that ignites when it hits the ground meaning I could use this ability to cut off any enemies.

They weren't the only ones I'm taking though since this base has a lot of men so I was originally going to just summon my own army but Verta came to me with a request that I take the snake guardians with me as they felt that they could be of more use to me in this attack. I agreed with her on that since I wanted to capture all the crooks so they could pay for what happened to Berk and what they did to Ylva who was still unconscious in Gothi's medical bed making my anger and determination to bring those responsible to justice. This brings us to now with me on my ship, Toothless at my side, Amr sitting at by the sail pole, Phlegon tied to his chariot waiting to go and my snake guardians below deck in full battle gear waiting for the attack.

I was looking ahead while gently smoking my pipe to calm my nerves before the attack while remembering master Shen's words about how I must not allow my anger to control me as that would lead to my defeat. It was then the sea stacks surrounding the ocean and I had my ship drop anchor for now as one of my snake guardians slithered up to see what was happening. I turned to the orange scaled male with his hair tied up in a bun and said.

"I'm going to take out their outer defenses and when I get back, we'll begin the full charge so tell the others we shall be attacking soon." He bowed and said.

"As you command master." He slithered back below deck while I walked up to Phlegon.

"Ready go big guy?" He neighed and nodded before I boarded the chariot and turned to Toothless. "Guard the ship while we're away bud?" He growled but I could see the annoyance in his eyes as he nodded before I took off on the chariot.

5 minutes later

I was looking down at the catapults that were set up on top of the sea stacks and saw they were all connected via bridges that went from sea stack to sea stack forming a ring and these bridges were holding up large chain nets that surrounded the island that was in the center. I had to admit that this was an ingenious guard system as it would stop any ships that were able to make it through the maze of sea stacks and whirlpools. I shook my head knowing my way of getting through that maze was going to be both effective and scary, showing these people why you should never mess with me or Berk. For now, though I needed to deal with their outer defenses and make sure I got all the men who were stationed on the sea stacks since I wanted to capture them, not kill them. I looked down at the catapults and saw there were a total of ten of them each being manned by three armed men making me smile since dealing with them would be easy with the chariot's abilities.

With this in mind I had the crossbows come out of the sides and begin firing at the catapult that went up in flames the second the arrows struck catching the men by surprise. All ten catapults were lit on fire in fifteen seconds and nothing more but burnt wood in even less time scaring the men who were guarding them and I had to say it was funny watching them run around like scared chicken. This did give me the chance to begin firing at them creating the bolas that wrapped the men up leaving them falling to the ground two at a time before any of them could react so they were taken down in minutes. Once all of them were down I looked at Phlegon and said.

"Alright Phlegon, let's land on the bridge and begin gathering up the prisoners and then drop them off on the ship." He neighed before we began heading downwards towards the bridge where we landed as I looked around at the downed men. "Time to get to work."

10 minutes later

Phlegon and I came to land on the ships top deck with the men in three separate cages being pulled behind the chariot before I got off the chariot and looked at the men in cages. I glared at them as they struggled in their bonds while I began wondering how I was going to get them all down into the ships cells since I wanted to begin the attack before they realized their outer defenses are destroyed. Before I could react, the ships deck opened up below the cages, enough for the bottoms to fall in but not enough to pull in the entire cage. I watched in surprise as the cage floor fell open dropping the men into the hole beneath it before the cages turned to dust like they normally do once they were no longer needed. I sighed knowing they were all now in cells in my ship's dungeon since that's the only place that they could be since that's how my ship worked. It was then a bald snake guardian rushed up onto the top deck and rushed up to me before he bowed and said.

"Master, a large amount of people have appeared in the ships cells." I nodded.

"It's alright, they're the ones who were manning the catapults." I turned to the island. "We'll be beginning the full attack very soon." He looked towards the island.

"Please forgive me for asking master but how will our ship make it through the sea stacks and whirlpools?" I turned to him and smiled as I reached into my grootslang coat and pulled out a chest I hadn't touched in years never feeling the need to use them.

"This is how!" I opened the chest to reveal the statues of Sekhmet and Ra. "These statues may not look like much, but they are one of the deadliest and most powerful weapons in my arsenal." He raised a scaled eyebrow as I smiled. "Just watch!"

He nodded as I walked up to the head of the ship and placed the statues in their slots before the walls of the indents closed, holding them in place. The wings of the ships golden nightfury head rose up from their place reflecting the light of the sun onto the statue of Sekhmet that slowly filled with light before two beams shot from his eyes and into the statue of Ra that also filled with light. I smiled as the statue of Ra fully activated right before the beam of light blasted out of the statue, through the mouth of the golden nightfury and towards one of the sea stacks that held one of the charred remains of a catapult. When the beam died, I smiled as the wings lowered before I turned back to the Snake guardian who was staring in shock as I asked.

"Any doubts about the power of the statues now?" He shook his head making me smile. "Good, now tell everyone below deck to get ready for the fight." He nodded and returned down the trapdoor as I turned back to the sea stacks smiling, knowing that when they collapse into the whirlpools, they destroy them and with my statues they didn't stand a chance. "Time to finish off the defenses and bring an end to this threat to Berk." With that said I willed the wings of the golden nightfury so my statues could fire again.

8 minutes later

My statues were back in their chest that was safely put away in my spiderpack while I looked out at the coming island that had one large mountain in the center and a rocky landscape that resembled Dark Deep. Behind me at the back of the deck was my chariot with Phlegon ready for us to begin the attack with Toothless standing next to it ready to begin attacking enemies with his plasma blast. Amr was right at my side waiting for us to dock so he could begin the attack while my snake guardians were below deck ready with their weapons, just waiting for the front of my ship to open so we could begin the attack. It was then I was brought out of my thoughts when I noticed men were doing something on the edge of the islands cliff and using my eagle eye, I saw they were preparing catapults aimed at my ship. I released my African club knowing my ship might be unsinkable, but I couldn't risk what those catapults launch scaring Phlegon or hurting those of us on the top deck so it better to hit them back and do damage to their artillery.

It was then I was once again brought out of my thoughts by shining orange lights in the sky that were coming towards my ship and I sighed seeing they were flaming boulders launched from the catapults. I watched as they came down and saw most were going to either hit the side of my ship or the water, I ignored them and focused on the ones that were going to hit my ships deck. I rushed to where the flaming boulder was heading before I pulled my African club back and then swung it forward hitting the boulder, sending it flying back towards the island. I rushed to another part of the deck using my ox flame boots speed mode and struck another flaming boulder back towards the island while the other boulders landed on the side of the ship or in the water.

I used my eagle eye to see what happened with the boulder I hit back and smiled when I saw the men scatter as the flaming boulders came to crash on the catapults that originally fired them. Some of the men were quick to recover though and reload the remaining catapults with new boulders and immediately launched them without bothering to light them. I smiled and got ready to strike them back and knew that this was just a warmup and that the real battle hadn't begun yet, but it would the second we docked. I struck back another boulder and this time it hit the side of one of the guard towers, taking a good chunk out of it making the entire thing collapse onto two of the remaining catapults. I saw the remaining catapults were abandoned making me smile knowing that I wasn't going to have to deal with any more boulders to slow us down and willed my ship to go full speed while I got into my chariot and got ready to head off with Toothless next to me.

A few seconds later we docked on the island and as my ships front dropped to form a bridge from where my snake guardians me, Toothless and Phlegon took off with me in the chariot. I saw my snake guardians charge out of the ship and I knew right at that moment the real battle against these crooks had begun before looking around for targets to strike. I saw this place was well defended with a few ballistae, guard towers, a few archer huts where archers were peeking out of windows, some remaining catapults and of course men charging at my ship. I growled remembering all the damage that was done to Berk because of the man these men worked for and knew it was time to pay back the favor by doing some damage to their own base.

Nobodies POV:

The enemy soldiers ran with their weapons ready to greet the enemy who dared to attack their base but stopped when they saw the snake guardians who were charging at them, never seeing such creatures before. They didn't let their shock last long though as they took notice of the fact that the snake guardians were all armed and were charging at them fast. The men ran at the snake guardians and Amr who was at the front of the snake guardians with his paws burning the ground with every step he took. When they met the men flew back from the blows of the snake guardians who were occasionally pushed back by the men before another snake guardian slammed into the human or grabbed them with their tail and throw them into another man. Amr was hitting them hard as well blasting any man he saw with his black flames making them drop to the ground, unable to move so no chance of them continuing the fight.

Hiccup, Phlegon and Toothless were also aiding them from above anyway they could with Toothless using his plasma blast while Hiccup steered Phlegon and using the chariots abilities to cause damage. Hiccup steered Phlegon towards the archer huts and began having the chariot fire flaming arrows towards the roofs and smiled as the buildings quickly caught fire as the men ran out screaming in terror. Hiccup then turned his attention to a tower where men were firing arrows down at the battlefield from above and growled before letting out a whistle to get Toothless' attention who dropped two men onto two other enemies as he turned to Hiccup. Hiccup gave him a hand signal and pointed towards the tower before he growled and nodded while diving towards the tower and let out a plasma blast at the bottom of it destroying the support. The men who were in the tower screamed in terror as the entire thing came down making the men beneath it scatter to avoid being crushed by the tower.

It was then Hiccup noticed men running in the same direction towards cart full of weapons that was being wheeled out to supply the men with arms to fight off the snake guardians. Hiccup steered Phlegon over the cart as he pulled out one of his bombs and threw it over the side of his carriage just as they flew over the cart. The bomb didn't land in the cart, but it did roll underneath it before it went off throwing the cart up into the sky while the weapons went flying as men dived to the ground to avoid being stabbed by the weapons. Hiccup laughed as a ballista was launched at him from the side activating the shield and turning the giant arrow into ash before it even got close to the chariot.

He looked and saw there were five ballistae with a catapult between each of them all lined up and aimed towards him making Hiccup smile as he steered the chariot towards the end of the row. When he was right at the end he turned the chariot to the side over the heavy artillery weapons while willing the chariot to open the back letting loose the burning liquid that fell down onto the ballistae and catapults setting them ablaze as the men who were manning them fled. Hiccup looked down at the chaos and knew he'd done enough damage with his chariot and it was time for him to get up close and personal with his enemies alongside his snake guardians. He looked towards Phlegon and yelled.

"PHLEGON, WE'VE DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE WITH THE CHARIOT SO HEAD BACK TO THE SHIP AND I'LL HANDLE THE REST ON THE GROUND!"

Phlegon neighed before Hiccup jumped from the chariot before spreading his wings and gliding down while Phlegon began flying towards the ship. Hiccup came down to land on the ground kneeling before quickly standing up as a man wielding a sword charged at him with his sword raised high. Hiccup didn't bother trying to avoid the blow and simply caught the man's arm with my real arm as it came down towards him before he twisted the man's arm making him scream in pain as he turned around and drop the sword into his prosthetic hand. Hiccup struck the back of the man's legs making him drop to his knees before Hiccup asked.

"Where's Boarsnout?" He growled.

"I'm not telling you anything." I lifted his arm higher making him cry out in pain as he held up the man's hand in his prosthetic hand in front of his face.

"You might want to reconsider that before I place this on your face." Hiccup channeled a green crystal and leaked acid onto the sword melting the part it was holding making the man's face pale. "So are you going to answer my question or would you like a drink from my prosthetic." He quickly replied.

"Boarsnout is in the mountain in the farthest cavern and the entrance is between the two archer huts at the base of the mountain." Hiccup smiled at him.

"Thanks, and sweet dreams." Hiccup let out a puff of my knockout gas into the bandit's face making him cough before falling unconscious while Hiccup looked around at the battlefield for the entrance until his eyes landed on the cave. "Time to end this." He then turned to the battlefield and shrugged. "Can't hurt to deal with some crooks with my snake guardians first though."

Hiccup turned his arm into its dragon claw form before he released his snake whip and quickly swung it at the nearest crook who was wrestling a spear from one of the female snake guardians. The whip wrapped around both his arms before Hiccup pulled back bringing them both together and yanked the man away from the snake guardian as he swung his whip around bringing the man with it. The man screamed in terror until the whip let him go, sending him flying into one of his comrades who was about to bring his sword down into the back of a male snake guardian. Hiccup then turned to the sound of screaming and found a man coming at him with a mace held high above his head making Hiccup smiled before he cracked his whip at the mace hitting the handle, breaking the spiked ball off. Hiccup quickly cracked his whip again hitting the man in the chest sending him flying back into one of his comrades who was running from a snake guardian.

It was then Hiccup cracked his whip at the spiked that was once part of the mace and grabbed it with his whip before he swung his whip to the side throwing the ball at the support beam of a small tower where some archers were held up. The ball smashed the wood as if it were nothing causing the tower to come down as the men screamed in terror while Hiccup just smirked. It was then turned around quickly to give a man who was trying to sneak up on him a kick in the chest causing a flaming ox to burst out his back and drag him away as he screamed in pain and terror. Hiccup then turned around side stepping and avoiding the blow from a man who had just tried to bring his axe down on Hiccup who rolled his eyes before he delivered a hard punch to the guys face knocking him out cold. It was then another man charged at him from the side with a spear end pointed at Hiccup but before he could reach him a snake wrapper was thrown at him from his side and wrapped around his body. The man fell to the ground struggling until the automaton sunk its fangs into his arm paralyzing him while Hiccup turned to the snake guardian who threw it and gave him a nod of thanks as he said.

"You and the others handle the remaining men," He turned to the entrance of the mountain. "I'm going to go after their leader." The snake guardian nodded while Hiccup began walking towards the entrance as he yelled out. "TOOTHLESS, AMR TO MY SIDES!"

Toothless flew down landing next to Hiccups right while Amr emerged from Hiccups shadow and walked up to Hiccups left and joined him on his walk towards the entrance. As they walked Hiccup took out two of his bombs that were full of his knockout gas before he raised his eagle shield to block the coming arrows fired from the two huts on either side of the entrance. He then folded up his shield and quickly threw the bombs right through the windows of the two archer sheds before they went off filling the huts with knock out gas that leaked out of the windows as the men coughed and collapsed inside. Hiccup smiled as he said.

"Let's do this thing boys." With that said they made their way in as Hiccup switched out his snake whip for his lion gauntlets.

Hiccups POV:

As we walked into the cave, I slammed my gauntlets into the walls making sure they each took a few big mouthfuls of the wall before we continued to make our way in. Not ten seconds after we entered did we encounter a group of six men who came charging at us with their spears pointed at us but we just kept walking as I held up my gauntlets as I channeled a misty white crystal in each of them making the manes spin and eyes glow. I slammed the two gauntlets sides together hard creating the sonic blast that not only echoed through the entire compound but also threw the men back onto the ground on top of each other knocking them out. I just ignored their unconscious forms and continued down the tunnel wanting to get this over as quick as I could but with every step I took the images of Ylva and Berk came to my mind and my anger grew even though I didn't show it on the outside.

We continued down the tunnel going down various twists and turn encountering various guards who were quickly dealt with whether it be by me using my lion gauntlets, Toothless with a plasma blast or Amr using his black flames I didn't care. There was only one thing I was focused on was finding the room Boarsnout was hiding behind so I could capture him and bring him back to Berk to face justice for what he did to my people. As we walked though, I made a mental note to go through the various rooms we walked past since they might have somethings that could benefit Berk or some old artefacts belonging to our allies who'd like them back.

It was then we came to the end of the end of the tunnel with a large wall that was guarded by three large men each heavily armored with the one on the right holding a mace, the one on the left was wielding a metal spear and the one in the middle held a large axe. I glared at them as they tensed with their weapons in hand as I smirked before holding up my gauntlets and they charged at me with their weapons ready to kill. I shot out three balls of hard stone right at the men on the left and right side hitting their bodies with the first two balls denting their armor and making them grunt in pain as they stopped their charge before the third balls hit them in their faces knocking them out cold.

The remaining man ignored his fallen comrades and continued his charge with his axe held high and swung it right down towards my head, but I made no move to dodge the coming blade. When it was a foot away from my head, I quickly lifted my gauntlets with the blade landing in the mouth of my right gauntlet while the handle landed in the mouth of my left gauntlets mouth. The gauntlets immediately ripped the axe from the man's grip as they began chowing down on the axe as if it were piece of meat they were eating. I smiled at the man who stared at me in shock, but his look of shock turned to one of horror as I pulled my right gauntlet back slammed it forward into his stomach sending him flying back right into the door. The man simply gave a simple 'ow' before the door fell back and into the room as I walked towards the entrance and said.

"Toothless, Amr watch the door and make sure nobody gets in or out without my say so."

They growled and took places on either side of the door as I walked in stepping over the body of the unconscious man who I punched into the door. I found myself in a large room with a small firepit in the middle of the room that was providing the light allowing me to see everything that was decorating it. On the right side of the fireplace was the pelt of a grizzly bear while on the left was the pelt of a white grizzly bear, both set down on a wooden plank floor while on either side of me were golden Viking statues of maces and talons pieces. (AN: Picture the statue the twins got from Johan in the dragon flower episode but in gold) I noticed the walls had been smoothed down as well with wooden carved support beams holding up the roof in each corner with two against each wall and stuck up on the wall between the pillars were the skins of different sharks. Hung up on the wall below these skinswere paintings of landscapes and people with tapestries next to them while on the floor were a few small or medium sized golden statues.

My eyes then landed on what was on the other side of the fire and my blood boiled since there was a couch that was covered in multiple animal pelts and there sitting in the middle was a man with a nose that looked like a boar's snout, a brown moustache beneath it, a bald head with hair on the sides and his body was wrapped in a red velvet cape. The man himself was looking at me in shock and fear while pushing himself against the back of the chair and I knew right then and there that this man was Boarsnout. I collapsed my gauntlets and walked towards him right through the flames of the fire in the pit making his eyes widen as I hopped out of the flames and said.

"Boarsnout I presume." He just stared at me and asked.

"Who are you?"

"I'm the guy who's not too happy about you having his hometown attacked and robbed blind." His eyes widened.

"You're Hiccup Haddock." I nodded. "How did you find me?" I smirked.

"Your pal Bjork sold you out to me."

"But Bjork is loyal to me so why would he tell you?"

"I can be very persuasive when I want to be." As I said this I had my eyepatch open to reveal the eye of the dragon to him. "Now about you having Berk attacked and robbed." I took a step forward.

"Wait!" I paused as he quickly pointed towards some bags in the right corner. "That's all the loot we got from Berk, I was just going to start counting it when you and your forces came." I turned back to him as he gave a shaky smile. "And I'll pay you whatever you want to let me go." I glared at him.

"I'm not someone who can be bought nor is this about the money you stole." I grabbed him by the collar using my prosthetic hand and lifted him up making the cape drop and reveal that much to my surprise the guy was a midget but my shock only lasted a second before I glared into his eyes. "This is about the people on Berk who you hurt, the homes you destroyed and the little girl who's like a little sister to me and how now thanks to you her family home is destroyed while the girl herself is laying in the healers hut unconscious and covered in injuries." I tightened my grip on his collar. "I'm going to take you and all your men to face justice for your crimes." I then pulled his face close to mine making sure I was glaring right into his eyes. "But this is one of the few times I am tempted to kill you right here and permanently free the world of another piece of trash." With that said I dragged him out of the room as he begged me to let him go but all his please did was give me a minor headache that I found annoying and made me want to knock the man out and a few second later I used my gas to do so.
