Chapter 205

Nobodies POV:

On top of a large mountain in the Australian Outback was a large pit with multiple boulders circling it with these boulders being anchors, holding chains that were holding the mighty rainbow serpent Ngalyod above the mountain as his power was slowly drained. Within the pit that he was floating above were multiple men, on their knees with feint smiles on their faces and their eyes glazed over while their life force was slowly drained to power the chains. One of these men was none other than Hiccup Haddock who had come to see what was going on but was tricked, trapped and forced to join the prisoners. The exiled shaman Taz and fallen champion turned spirit Darce, both of which were looking at Hiccup with cruel smiles on their faces as Taz said.

"And this is meant to be the champion of the gods." He chuckled. "He's just a fool who became too full of himself and fell just like the other warriors." Darce wasn't as convinced as he replied.

"Do not underestimate him, the gods do not choose mortals that they do not see potential in."

"With all due respect master Darce, I highly doubt he'll be able to escape this prison."

"Don't be too sure, his will is stronger than any other warrior I have ever seen in my time."

"But not even he will be able to escape without giving up his ideal life." He walked up to Hiccup and looked him in the eyes. "I do wonder where our power has taken him." He stood back up. "Ruling a large kingdom of his own while surrounded by women or perhaps on a beach somewhere surrounded by untold riches."

"That is something only he shall know." The eyes of the shadow then landed on Hiccups still form. "I can't blame you as I am also curious to know where he is right now, but it matters not for we shall soon be able to reshape this world into our own image." They both smiled and walked away from Hiccups still body not knowing what was going on within his mind.

Hiccups POV:

All I could see was darkness while before I felt the familiar warmth of the sun's rays gently caress my face making me smile and sit up while stretching and letting out a yawn. I looked around and smiled at the sight of my bedroom but frowned trying to remember the dream I had last night since I couldn't help but think it was important. Before I could think of it anymore though I was brought out of my thoughts by the sound of groaning coming from my side followed by the one groaning saying.

"Please tell me it isn't morning." I turned to my right to see a woman covering her head with a pillow, but it didn't stop some of her blonde hair from sticking out before I said.

"That's what you get for staying up so late." The women removed the pillow to reveal none other than my beloved leopardess, Astrid who looked up at me.

"I was running drills with Stormfly." I chuckled.

"Yeah, because I'm sure those tail swipes in the water followed by the spinning will be really helpful in battle." It was then the familiar hands of Blanca rested on my shoulders as she lifted herself up from behind me as she said.

"Hiccup, you shouldn't tease any of us so early in the morning." It was then a third voice said.

"Especially when we have such a busy day ahead of us." I sighed and rubbed my eyes in annoyance.

"Don't remind me my dear flower." I turned to her and saw my wife Hadasa. "The last thing I need is to be reminded that I have chief training with my dad today." Astrid then spoke.

"Hiccup, it's a great honor to go through this training and besides, we all know that your father mostly uses it as an excuse to spend quality time with you." I sighed and smiled as I shrugged.

"True and since I shouldn't keep him waiting, I better start getting ready to take on the day." I began to get up as I saw each of the girls smile right before Astrid and Blanca each grabbed one of my shoulders and pulled me back down onto the bed and when I was laying back down, Hadasa jumped onto my body pinning me down as she said.

"That can wait a few more minutes so for now, you're all ours." I smiled as she leaned in for a kiss but before our lips could meet the sound of metal footsteps ruined the moment making me sigh as I turned to see a serving automaton walking up to the bed before Astrid groaned and said.

"Remind me again why you built that thing." I sighed and sat up.

"I built that one to wake me up if I'm sleeping in and to give my to do list but sadly I designed it to come in at a specific time so I can get a good jump on the day." She rolled her eyes while Blanca got out of bed.

"Since we are all up, it may be best we all get ready for the day." She then smiled. "Starting with breakfast since we all know what the children are like if we don't get them their breakfast in time." We all smiled before Astrid got out of bed.

"I'll go wake the children up." Blanca replied.

"I'll get started on breakfast." Hadasa then much to my disappointment, got off me and off the bed.

"And I'll go to the garden to get some fresh fruit for the meal and to make some juice." I watched as each of the girls left while turning to look at my serving automaton and glaring at it before I said.

"You have really lousy timing, you know that?" As expected the only reply I got was it raising its arm, holding a rolled-up parchment that I knew was a list of things my father and I had to do today before I sighed. "Well might as well see what I've got to do today." I took the list and stood up to start getting ready for the day.

5 minutes later

I made my way downstairs in my regular armor but just as I reached the bottom I saw a small dark green floral fury run past me but this one had little flowers tied to its ear flaps making me chuckle as the sound of a tiny voice yelling out.

"IVY COME BACK!"

I turned to see my youngest daughter, who Hadasa gave me, rushing down the stairs but she didn't reach the bottom before I grabbed her and picked her up before holding her in my arms while looking down at the little girl. She was wearing a light green dress that reached her knees, with a leather belt wrapped around her waist and little flowers stitched onto it with sandals and in her raven black hair were little white flowers that seemed to bloom with the smile on her face. This little ball of energy was none other than my youngest child, my five-year-old daughter Rana who like her mother could control plants.

"And good morning to you my sweet little flower." She just giggled.

"Good morning daddy." I smiled at her.

"Now why are you running down the stairs so early in the morning?" She pouted.

"Ivy ran away when I was putting flowers on her horns." Before I could reply a voice from above said.

"I saw what you were doing to her and have to say I can't blame her for running."

I turned to see my eight-year-old child and first daughter who Astrid gifted me with, and we had named Birgit, who like her sister had inherited some powers from her mother. She has dirty blonde hair so a mix between me and Astrid but on top of her head was tough of hair on either side that looked like cat ears on while the rest of her hair reached down to her shoulders was tied into a braid just like her mother. She was wearing her usual attire of a sleeveless dark yellow top with short fur skirt that had leather strips with metal balls on them and gronkle iron shoulder pads. Looking down at us, leaning over the railing was none other than her own dragon, a young female mimic fury with a yellow scale who was named 'Sunny' since when she first hatched, she had bright yellow scales. I rolled my eyes at her last comment and said.

"Very funny sweetie, now come on down for breakfast." She smiled.

"With pleasure." I then watched as she hopped onto the railing and before I could say anything, she somersaulted down to the ground floor as Rana clapped while I sighed and shook my head.

"This house doesn't lack stairs young lady." She smiled at me.

"Yeah, but they aren't nearly as much fun." I shook my head as Sunny glided down next to her.

"You are so your mother's daughter." She just smirked. "Now where's your brother?" Before she could reply a male voice replied.

"I'm coming now father."

I looked up and smiled at the sight of my ten-year-old child who was also my only son who was gifted to me by Blanca and like his mother, he was a snake guardian with a human form. His hair was black like his mother's but his eyes were just like mine and he wearing his usual outfit of a sleeveless kimono top that was white in color but had a black nightfury on the back with a grey snake circling it and brown pants with brown boots. Following at his side was none other than his own dragon and Toothless' adopted daughter Twilight who had chosen him as her rider. When he reached the bottom of the stairs, he looked at me and said.

"I was just practicing my morning stretches." I smiled at him since it was how he always started his day when he intended to spend it training with his mother and aunt Verta.

"Well put your stretches on hold because breakfast is waiting for us."

He nodded before we all made our way into the dining room where Blanca had set down some freshly sliced fish, scrambled eggs and bread while Hadasa had set out sliced fruits and some freshly squeezed juice in a glass jug, all on the table and I was looking forward to enjoying it all. I sat Rana down in her chair before sitting down in my own at the head of the table and piling some egg and meat onto my plate while using my third arm sash to pour myself some juice. Before I could pick up my knife and fork though I heard a man's voice whisper in my ear.

"You need to wake up Hiccup." I immediately looked around but only saw my family enjoying their breakfast, so I shrugged figuring it was just my mind playing tricks on me before I just continued with my meal.

1 hour later

I was standing in the middle of Berk with Toothless at my right while we looked around at the wonder that is Berk and smiled since it was a human and dragon utopia. There were multiple dragons flying around with building I designed to help better Berk using what the dragons do to power the things and make things easier. One of the building types is the windmills that power most of the other things I've built and use the wind created by the dragons who are flying around the village. These powered the various cranks allowing multiple buckets of water from the sea that load up the water towers that supply water for the fire prevention systems. Along with this they also powered the various other things around the village that were all designed by me to make things easier for the people of Berk. It was then I felt the ground shake followed by the sound of some sort of roar that seemed to echo through the entire area but before I could do anything I felt a hand land on my shoulder and turned to see my father, looking at me in concern as he asked.

"Everything alright son?" I nodded.

"Yeah dad, just thought I heard something, but it was probably just a dragon challenging another for a female's attention or Hookfang getting annoyed with Snotlout again." He chuckled.

"Don't worry about it too much son, we've got a big day ahead of us." I nodded and we got going to begin tending to the village.

4 hours later

We were flying over the village while I went over everything we'd done today and I had to say I enjoyed working side by side with my dad since it was mostly fixing some damaged buildings, resolving some fights and a few other things that I enjoyed doing. It was then my father asked.

"So, how's the family doing today?"

"They're doing well dad with the kids pretty much just being kids except for Qiang who as expected is spending his day training." My dad chuckled.

"You can't really blame him since he wants to be more like you."

"Do you really think so?"

"Come on son, the lad idolizes you above all others and wants to be just like you." I turned to him with a raised an eyebrow.

"Aren't all young boys like that?" He just chuckled until I heard the same voice from before whisper at me to wake up but I shook my head.

"Everything alright son?" I nodded.

"Just my mind playing tricks on me, dad."

"Perhaps, you should head home for the day son."

"What about the rest of today's work." He waved his hand.

"A quick check on the store house and checking up on the bunker while knocking down an old fence so it's nothing I can't handle." Before I could reply he waved his hand at me. "Go home, spend some time with your family after all, the wee ones aren't going to be young forever." I smiled and nodded.

"Alright, if you're sure than see you later dad."

With that said Toothless and I took off back to the island smiling since the day was still young meaning I could enjoy some peace and quiet while enjoying with my family. Getting back to the island didn't take that long but before we landed, I figured it better take a flight around the island and I steered him around the various areas. As we did, I admired every detail of my island and all its inhabitants and as I did I felt a warm feeling within my heart, a feeling that came with the knowledge that this place was more than just my home.

This place was a place I'd created myself through hard work and although the land was given to me by the gods, I was the one who was responsible for turning it into the paradise it was now. All of this was for my island's inhabitants, from my animals to my wives and children, all of whom I considered my family and like any good man I wanted what was best for them. I'd be lying if I said if I didn't take pride in all I've done to make this place paradise for all those who lived on it, but this wasn't the only place I worked hard. I spent months out on the ocean or in foreign countries taking on monster after monster, creating multiple deals with various traders to set up trade routes, meeting with royals to set up deals, hunting down pirates to ensure the safety of the people, finding and training new dragons to help the island and so much more. It was then we came to land in front of the stable and smiled as I dismounted before rubbing his head and said.

"Thanks for the ride bud." He crooned. "So now that we're done for the day, what are you going to do." Before he could reply a small roar from the door, and I turned to see Flora and Pele standing at the door with their eyes half open and on him making me chuckle and gave him one more pat on the head. "Go get em bud but be gentle with them." He just let out a sarcastic growl while rolling his eyes before strutting towards the girls making me roll my eyes and walk away to find my own family.

10 minutes later

I was in the snake guardians base, in their training room and secretly watching as Qiang was sparring with two male snake guardians using bo staffs in his snake guardian form. His form had a long silver tail that had a tip like his mother's but while hers had a large curved blade, his was like a barbed spear head, his skin paled with his face and shoulders possessing scales, his hair turning from black to silver while his green eyes becoming steel grey with slit pupils. I watched as he dodged a blow from one guardian before thrusting his bo staff forward into his opponent's gut knocking him back but the other snake guardian slammed into him from the right side throwing him down. Before Qiang could get up though both snake guardians brought the ends of their bo staffs down on his chest, pinning him to the ground. Verta who was watching from above on one of the edges with Blanca next to her said.

"Sorry nephew but that's the match to your opponents." He growled as the snake guardians removed their bo staffs and let him up but before he could say anything, I made my presence known by walking up and saying.

"You left your right-side open son; you have to work on that." All the snake guardians bowed to me making me roll my eyes before Blanca flew down from her place above and embraced me before she let go and asked.

"Shouldn't you be chiefing with your father." I embraced her and gently caressed her face.

"He gave me the rest of the day off meaning I can spend that time spending some time with my family." She smiled.

"Remind me to send him a cake for that." I smiled at her.

"Do that tomorrow as for now you're all mine." Before we could share a kiss though Qiang said.

"You're not alone you know." We immediately pulled away from each other as I turned to Qiang who was now rubbing Twilight's head. "You two really need to get a room." He turned to Twilight. "Right Hun." She just growled and nodded.

"We'll see how you two behave when you fall in love with someone." They just rolled their eyes. "Now come on, take a day off from your training so we can enjoy some family bonding for the rest of the day." He changed back into his human form.

"Alright, just let me get my shirt back on." I nodded before he walked away while I smiled.

"So proud to call him my son." Blanca smiled and leaned against my shoulder.

5 minutes later

We were making our way into the green house where the crops are grown and where I knew Hadasa was teaching Rana how to use her powers to help the crops grow. I walked in through the door and found Hadasa standing by one of the mint bushes with Rana in one arm and her arm stretched out over the plant as it slowly grew. Before Hadasa could say anything, Rana noticed me and cried out.

"DADDY!" Hadasa turned to me and smiled.

"And what brings you here so early?" She walked up to me. "I figured you'd be chiefing until dinner time with how busy Berk gets these days." I smiled and took Rana from her.

"It wasn't that busy a day and my dad was kind enough to give me the rest of the day off to spend some time with my family." Rana cheered out.

"YAY FOR GRANDPA!" We all chuckled.

"Now why don't we go find Astrid and Birgit so we can all spend some family fun together." Hadasa smiled.

"They're in the jungle, practicing their acrobatics using the trees." I sighed and shook my head.

"And knowing that daughter of mine, she's training hard to surpass her mother in skill." I chuckled "She really is her mother's daughter." I then began making my way out. "We better get going before they overdo it and collapse from exhaustion again."

Everyone gave a small giggle at this before we took off but when we reached the exit for a few seconds the beautiful landscape turned into a dry desert at night. When I blinked though everything was back to normal making me shake my head while wondering what was up with my mind today since it was getting annoying. I shrugged figuring a bit of down time with the loves of my life and my children was something I needed but first I needed to find Astrid and Birgit.

3 hours later

We were all at the top of my Mayan temple since it was a peaceful place where we were all able to enjoy some fruit while discussing how our mornings had been and I had to say things were perfectly normal with everyone just doing our own thing. Everything was relaxed for all of us with Hadasa teaching Rana how to use her powers and I smiled when she went on about how well Rana's training was coming and how she could now make some plants grow slightly larger. Blanca spoke about how Qiang had improved in combat training and with a few more weeks of training he might be able to put up a challenge for all the snake guardians. Astrid spoke about how great Brigit was coming along with her training and had become as stealthy as a trained ninja thanks to the training from both her and my ninja. My eldest daughter had the makings of a fine ninja and I knew she wanted to be one since she'd kept talking about how she'd be one since she was younger after seeing me training with them.

Now she was practicing her sparring with Qiang while Astrid judged things from the side lined with me sitting down on the couch, watching with Blanca and Hadasa on either side of me and little Rana, sitting on my lap cheering for her siblings. Now I would normally be worried in the obvious delight my youngest daughter takes in the violence between her siblings but then I remind myself that it's the Viking blood in her veins. I shook my head knowing this was going to be causing a lot of trouble with all my children since Birgit and Qiang were both already enjoying being violent, I was not looking forward to their teen years.

It was then I noticed night had fallen and knew it was time to get back to the house for a good dinner and before tucking the kids in for the night. I gently passed Rana to Hadasa before running between the two fighting siblings, grabbing them by their wrists and twisting them around and pushing the kids away from each other. When they looked at me with curiosity in their eyes, probably wondering why I stopped their sparring match before I said.

"Alright you two, time to call it a night and head home for dinner." I then looked at them both. "And I want both of you to take a bath to wash off the sweat before you come to the dining room as I will not have either of you smelling of dried sweat while we eat." They groaned as I turned to the stairway. "Let's get going." For a second, I swore I saw some giant serpent appearing in the sky roaring in pain as someone yelled out.

"WAKE UP HICCUP!" Before I could react, I jumped in shock when a hand landed on my shoulder and turned to see Hadasa looking at me in concern as she asked.

"Is everything alright beloved?" I nodded.

"Yeah, it's just my mind playing tricks on me so nothing to worry about." She rubbed my cheek as I leaned into her touch before I took her hand.

"Don't worry my flower, I'll have some medicine after dinner." She smiled and nodded before we took off towards the house but as we did, I had this nagging feeling at the back of my head.

2 hours later

Our dinner was a delicious serving of roasted boar, fresh bread that was made earlier in the day, freshly harvested vegetables and yak butter parfait for dessert. Like all the dinners that Blanca and Hadasa made, it was absolutely delicious so it was a pleasant meal filled with small talk about various things including Qiang going on about how he wished he could accompany me and my dad around the village while we did the chiefly duties. I couldn't blame him though since when he was first born my dad slapped me on the back and told me how I had an heir for when I retire from being chief. Because of this I'd talk to him from time to time about how one day he'd take my place as chief of the village, responsible for keeping both the island and its inhabitants safe and ensure the village flourished.

He took my words to heart and trained hard claiming if he was to protect the village, he'd need to be strong enough to take on any opponent who threatened it. Along with this he could often be found in the library, studying through various books on multiple subjects since I told him a good needed to be smart as well as strong as there are times when brute strength isn't the answer to problems. I had to say I was proud of my son and the man he looked to be becoming but I made sure he took breaks and just enjoyed his day by going out to play with the others his age and with Twilight.

Now the kids were in bed and I was on my way to the bedroom wearing an alpaca fur bathrobe and brown pants beneath it while using a towel to dry my damp hair after a bath that wasn't as relaxing as I expected it to be. The reason for this is halfway through it I opened my eyes to find an elderly man standing in front of me and yelling at me to awaken from my slumber before it was too late. When I blinked though he was gone and chalked it up to my mind playing tricks on me again, but I couldn't help but feel that I had met that elderly man before although I had no idea where. After that I just chalked it up to my mind messing with me and the old man just being someone, I saw on the streets on one of my many expeditions across the world.

It was then I entered my room to find the girls sitting down on the bed in their nightgowns, obviously waiting for me to come in as I smiled at them. Before I could do anything though Astrid asked.

"How was your bath babe?" I put the towel down in the laundry basket as I replied.

"It was refreshing, and it really helped relax me." I hung up my bath robe. "I am ready for a goodnights sleep." I heard the girls giggle behind me before Astrid said.

"I'm afraid your sleep is going to have to wait a bit longer." I turned to face her and ask what she meant only for her to show up right in front of me and wrap her arms around me. "We decided since we couldn't have you to ourselves this morning, tonight you're all ours." I smiled and allowed myself to be lead to the bed and laid down with the girls gathering around me as I mentally prepared myself for a good night but it was then the roar seemed to echo through the area as the room shook but the girls didn't notice but I could tell my shock showed since Blanca asked.

"Something wrong Hiccup?" I shook my head.

"Just my mind messing with me again." She nodded before Hadasa said.

"Well I guess we'll just have to help your mind focus on something else." I smiled as she forced me to lay back while her bed rob slide from her shoulders but it was then I saw a necklace around her neck and my mind flashed with the image of the old man flashed before my mind.

"Hadasa, where did you get this necklace?"

I reached up and grabbed before my mind flashed with images as the world around me shattered like glass leaving me in a void of darkness while things flashed into my mind. When the darkness I found myself, kneeling on the ground with my arms chained to the ground while a large serpent in the sky screeched in pain as chains that anchored it to the ground, glowing brightly as they did so. It was then everything that happened came back to me and I realized what they had done to me and to say I was not the least bit happy with what they did. They had trapped me in a dream that was made to be the life I always dreamed I'd have, a life with children of my own and where I didn't fail to save Hadasa from her the fate of becoming nothing more than a flower. (AN: Chapter 126.) I felt my rage reach levels I never thought I'd be pushed to but to imprison me in a way that I could only be freed by giving up my ideal life. I then remembered the old man and recognized him as Koen who must have been helping me somehow but that is something, I'd have to talk to him about later.

This was just plain wrong, and it was then my eyes landed on Taz, the man who put me in that state in the first place and I clenched my hands into fists while grinding my teeth in pure anger. I pulled the chains holding my prosthetic with all my strength breaking a link and once it was broken the chains it was linked to and the ones holding my real arm turned to dust as I let out a cry of anger. Taz turned to face me as I rushed at him and slammed my prosthetic fist into his gut throwing him back and onto the ground as he coughed up some blood. I didn't give him the chance to get up though as I slammed my foot down onto his chest pinning him to the ground as I growled out.

"Do you have any idea, what you did to me?"

"I put you in a prison that you would never wish to leave but then again you would never know were imprisoned to begin with." He growled and tried to push my foot off. "How could you have escaped like you did?" I smirked.

"I had some help from a friend on the outside." He then smirked at me.

"You aren't the only one who has a friend to help you." I sensed an attack and cartwheeled forward, off him and turned to see Darce whose shape had taken the shape of a human body that said.

"Your escape doesn't matter Hiccup; we'll just deal with you now." It was then I remembered the stones the chains were connected to and knew what had to do and released the legs of my spiderpack and immediately began firing the crystals rapidly at the stones before stopping and both of my enemies laughed as Taz said.

"You fool, you couldn't hit either of us." I smirked.

"I wasn't aiming for either of you, I just wanted to break the chains holding the other one who no doubt wants some payback for imprisoning him."

They looked around and realized my crystals had shattered the boulders after being struck so many times meaning the runes weren't going to hold Ngalyod. It was then Ngalyod let out another roar that echoed through the entire area before we all looked up just as the giant serpent pulled its body once more but this time the chains broke. They fell to the ground and we all had to move quickly to avoid being crushed by the giant chains that I'm grateful to say missed the men who were chained to the ground while we were on the ground after jumping out of the way. The chains turned to dust seconds later as Ngalvod looked down at Taz and Darce with a glare that was so hot it could turn a giant iceberg into a foot-wide puddle in seconds. Before any of us could react, he bit his own tail and began rapidly spinning as an orange portal that looked like the top of a tornado formed within the circle, he'd formed by biting his tail. It was then I watched as Darce was lifted from the ground as he struggled to get back down to the ground as he screamed out.

"NO, I WILL NOT BE SENT BACK TO THAT WRETCHED PRISON ALONE!" I watched as he grabbed onto Taz's leg and began dragging him along with him towards the portal as Taz screamed.

"LET ME GO, THIS WASN'T PART OF THE DEAL!"

Those were the last things he said before they were both pulled into the portal while I watched and once, they were both pulled into the portal it slowly closed before Ngalvod let go of his tail and looked down at me. I looked into his eyes and saw a multitude of colors like those of Arvendale's fire shimmering in them before he nodded in what I assume was thanks and then took off back into the sky and vanished. I just smiled before the sound of groaning caught my attention and turned to look around and saw all the men who had been held prisoner were coming out of it while the chains that had been holding them turned to dust. I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair and said.

"This is going to take a lot of explaining." With that said I made my way towards the men to begin the explaining to them what happened.

AN: Hey guys, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter more than the last one and I must admit I can't blame you guys since the last chapter was rather forced. The reason for this is I was forced to redo multiple parts multiple times due to load shedding happening here in South Africa, so I kept losing data and it was frustrating and along with this my ideas for Australia are very few. Anyway, I'm sorry about that so please review kindly to this one and will be willing to give me some ideas for gifts Hiccup can get from the Australian gods.

If you're wondering why the snow woman didn't show up in Hiccups fantasy life, it's because Hiccup knows she's happy and with her mother on the other side. With all this said, I ask that you be kind with your reviews and I'll see you all next time and keep in mind that if you come up with a gift ideas that can be used, the easier the next chapter will be for me to writ and the faster it'll come out. Till next time, have a nice day.
