Chapter 242

Nobodies POV:

Akuhei sat in his throne, now looking more like his old self while growling as he tapped his fingers against the arm rests impatiently while waiting for the hooded figure to return after claiming that he'd discovered the location of one of Akuhei's former subordinates. It was then the hooded figure finally made his appearance and with him came another hooded figure who had a thin black shield that was rectangular in shape with a three crowned top in his left hand and in his right was a yajiri nari yari with one blade pointing up and one on either side of the bottom, facing away from each other. The figure bowed to Akuhei and said.

"Lord Akuhei, I am overjoyed at your return and know that should word have reached me sooner, I would have rushed to your aide." He looked to be ready to say more but Akuhei raised his hand, silencing the figure.

"Save your excuses as I already know you ignored my calls and are merely trying to make excuses to save yourself from my wrath and becoming nourishment for my body." The hooded figure looked nervous but knew running would seal his doom. "I am not without mercy though." The hooded figure looked up at these words. "The mortal who destroyed my original body is once more travelling through these lands." He then stood up and pointed towards the caves entrance. "Bring me his body and I shall forgive your betrayal of not returning immediately." The figure bowed once more.

"I shall bring you his dead body or die trying master." Akuhe held out his hand.

"First, give me your weapon." The figure did as he was told before Akuhei took the yajiri nari yari in both hands before growling as the weapon glowed blood red before Akuhei let out a breath and handed the weapon back to its owner. "This weapon has been infused with my power and shall enhance your power against Hiccup Haddock so should you fail, you will have no excuse other than your own incompetence." The figure nodded and bowed once more.

"I shall not fail you master." With that said he took off while Akuhei leaned back into his throne.

"At least he's eager to prove his loyalty to me." With that said he continued to slowly allow his new body to grow and restore him to his full power.

Hiccups POV:

It's been six days since my battle with the nue and in that time, not much has happened besides me learning another ability of my wakizashi in which I stab it into the ground, up to the hilt and then letting it go. The wakizashi would then sink into the ground that would turn to clay before a giant onikuma made of clay forms from the ground and obeys my will. As for the abilities of this onikuma, its claws were made out of hard clay that could cut through stone as if it were nothing, could move fast as a real onikma and also had the strength of one so it was definitely going to be helpful in future fights. When I didn't need it though I just had to will it to stop and the bear would fall apart, leaving my wakizashi behind with it being gently stabbed into the ground.

Besides that, I'd run into Asami once more who came to drop off a new gift for me in the form of a mask that covers my lower face and nose with the sides reaching up to my ears. This mask in general was creepy with it taking the form of a golden mouth with the lips pulled back to reveal multiple fangs like that of a beast with two tusks like fangs that reached past the upper lip, jutting out from the bottom at the corners and next to them were ones that were a little longer but not as long coming from the top. Asami told me that this mask was forged from the bones of the nue that had been melted down in the dragons' forge while the fangs were the ones that belonged to the beast. (AN: The devils grin on my pinterest page.)

All in all, this mask looked down right creepy and this made me hesitant to use it but curiosity got the better of me and I put it on which is when I began learning about its abilities. The first ability that I discovered was one I was grateful for was that like my rhino helmet, it could turn into an earring but while the helmets earring took the form of a rhino horn, this earring took the form of a golden fang. The second ability I discovered this mask had was it could open up and let out a sonic blast that could shatter a boulder at twenty feet as if it were nothing so it wasn't an ability to take lightly. It was because of this I'd been practicing it and learnt that I could control how loud the sound was and how it was spread out so I could make it cover a large area or make the blast small and strike a single target. Along with this, I learnt that these sonic blasts could actually hold lightning charges to shock my enemies so it could be even more powerful against my foes. It also had a non-combat skill in which it made my voice so loud, it could be heard for miles meaning it would come in handy for making announcements to large crowds.

Other than that, things have been pretty peaceful and that made me worry since it was those times that I considered the calm before the storm, and the longer they were, the worse the storm. I could only hope that what I faced next was something I could deal with and walk away from with all my limbs intact since I'd need all of them to deal with Akuhei. Now I was once again making my way down a path in a rocky mountain valley with not plants other than the occasional sprouting plant that grew in rocky environments. It was then I came to a stop when I saw a hooded figure, standing in the middle of the path, holding a Yajiri nari yari in his right hand, a shield in his left and I knew it meant trouble. I sighed and brought my kappa shell to a stop before picking it up and putting it back in my weapons sash as I asked.

"Akuhei send you?" The figure pointed his weapon at Hiccup.

"He did and will reward me for bringing him your dead corpse." I released my bo staff and released the blade from the top.

"You're not the first of Akuhei's lackeys to come and try to kill me and I doubt you'll be the last when we're done here." I then got into my fighting stance. "Let's get this over with."

"You'll regret your words when you let out your last breath with the blade of my weapon impaling your body."

The figure threw his cloak off and I knew this fight wasn't going to be easy since what I was looking was an oni that was known as a Hōsōshi and they were not easy to deal with. This Hōsōshi wore ceremonial robes with a red skirt, and orange vest, with the bottom and sleeves being lined with yellow, black baggy sleeves and a white rope belt. Its face was angry red with golden fangs with two longer fangs from the top, a short curved yellow horn coming out of the forehead, shoulder length silver hair and four eyes which is one of the things that made this oni dangerous. The reason for this is they made it impossible to sneak up on this oni since his four eyes allowed him to look in all four directions, so he'd see any surprise attacks. I spun my staff around and prepared for a fight knowing that it was these times when the staff's new abilities to split up into three joints would be most helpful and said.

"Let's do this." With that said the fight began.

Nobodies POV:

Hiccup thrust the bladed head of his weapon forward towards his foe who was quick to step the side before swinging the head of his own weapon down towards Hiccup at a speed that made it look like a blur. Hiccups reflexes were able to allow him to barely dodge the weapon that caused a straight shockwave down the ground behind Hiccup, tearing up twenty feet of the path behind Hiccup. Hiccup didn't give the hōsōshi the chance to pull his weapon back up though and quick slammed his own staff down on the pole of the weapon before jumping up and swinging his body towards his opponent hoping to strike him with both feet. The hōsōshi saw this coming and leaned his body upper torso back avoiding Hiccups blow which is something Hiccup noticed and quickly landed next to his staff right as the hōsōshi backflipped to stand up straight and put some distance between it and Hiccup.

The hōsōshi then thrust his forward at Hiccup at a speed that made it seem like a blur but Hiccup was faster to react and dodged to the side while swinging his staffs bladed end towards the hōsōshi's side, hoping to at least wound it. The hōsōshi was faster to react though and stepped back to avoid the strike before returning the strike with a slash of its own but Hiccup stopped the strike with his staff. The hōsōshi smiled at this before quickly pulling his Yajiri nari yari back to him, hooking Hiccups staff with the blade that was sticking out from the left side of his weapon. Hiccup was quick to react to this by splitting his staff into duel combat sticks which he quickly spun around at a high speed in his hands before pointing them at the hōsōshi as if to challenge it. The hōsōshi growled and glared at Hiccup as his weapon glowed with the blood red magic of Akuhei with its wielder glowing with the same power. Hiccup looked at it in shock, feeling the strength of the magic that now coursed through the hōsōshi and knew that things just got a lot more dangerous.

The hōsōshi rushed at Hiccup with a speed comparable to hiccup when he uses his ox flame boots speed mode but thanks to Hiccups ninja and kung fu training to prepare him for quick opponents, to him the hōsōshi looked to be coming at him at normal speed. Hiccup activated his ox flame boots speed mode and rushed to meet the hōsōshi who thrust his Yajiri nari yari right towards Hiccups gut. Hiccup was quick to dodge to the side while continuing towards the hōsōshi before slamming both ends of his sticks into his opponents' stomach, making the hōsōshi step back but it was quick to recover and pull its Yajiri nari yaritowards it. Hiccup quickly backflipped over the side blade of the Yajiri nari yari and once he'd landed, he thrust his sticks forward once more but this time he aimed for the hōsōshi's eyes and managed to stab the two top eyes making the hōsōshi roar and back up in pain.

Hiccup took this opportunity to reconnect his sticks back into his staff and once again released the blade before thrusting the bladed end towards the hōsōshi. The hōsōshi was quick to recover and block Hiccups blow using its shield before pushing the staff to the side and then rushing forward while holding running the shield across the staff to prevent Hiccup from using it against him. When the hōsōshi was only three feet away from Hiccup, it thrust its Yajiri nari yari right at Hiccup who quickly maneuvered his body to avoid the blades but only avoided it by three inches right before the hōsōshi slammed into Hiccup and tackled him to the ground. The hōsōshi quickly pressed the pole of his Yajiri nari yaridown on Hiccups throat and began choking him but Hiccup was quick to react and let go of his staff before pushing the pole back to get him some breathing room. He then quickly activated his new sonic fang mask and let out a sonic roar that sent the hōsōshi flying off Hiccup, dropping its Yajiri nari yariin the process.

While the hōsōshi landed on the ground six feet away, Hiccup was quick to stand back up and grab his own weapon before rushing over to the downed hōsōshi. The hōsōshi began getting up but Hiccup slammed his foot down on the chest of the oni, making it grunt in pain while pinning him to the ground as Hiccup grinned behind his mask. He pointed the blade of his weapon down at the hōsōshi before thrusting it down with all his strength into the skull of the hōsōshi making it scream in agony as its body slowly began releasing black smoke. Hiccup didn't let up though and continued to jam his weapon, deeper into the skull of his foe until the screaming stopped as the body and clothes turned into nothing but dust and smoke. Hiccup smiled as he let out a sigh of relief and pulled the blade of his weapon out of the ground before putting his staff away and saying.

"Like I said, you weren't the first of Akuhei's lackeys to come after me." He turned away from the spot where his foe was defeated. "And I doubt you'll be the last." Hiccup then walked over to the hōsōshi's discarded weapon and looked at it with disgust since it was still giving off that blood red glow and knew it was dark magic. "Now what am I meant to do with this thing since I can't leave it out here since there's no telling what would happen if someone found it." A voice from behind him then said.

"I agree as I'd hate to see what happens to the poor mortal who foolishly picks it up when it's coursing with so much black magic." Hiccup turned around to see none other than Asami approaching him, making him sigh.

"One of these days, you have to teach me how you're able to show up out of nowhere after my battles." She giggled and walked up to the Yajiri nari yari.

"Sorry Hiccup, but it's a kitsune thing." Hiccup nodded before looking back at the weapon.

"So, what are you going to do with it?"

"I will take it to the dragons forge and see if they can cleanse it of the dark magic and possibly make it of use to you as Akuhei still has many dangerous yokai at his command." Hiccup nodded before Asami disappeared with the Yajiri nari yari leaving Hiccup alone.

"Well time to get back to my journey before Akuhei can send some other yokai after me in this rocky environment." With that said Hiccup continued his journey on his kappa shell helmet.

Akuhei's lair

Akuhei stood up from his throne and roared in absolute rage after watching another one of his subordinates get killed by his enemy Hiccup Haddock before his former wife took his fallen subordinates weapon to have it turned into something to aid Hiccup in future battles. The hooded figure walked in to see what it was that was troubling his master but before he could even ask what had happened, Akuhei yelled out.

"CURSE HICCUP HADDOCK AND CURSE THAT INFERNAL KITSUNE WHO I ONCE CALLED MY BELOVED!"

"I take it the hōsōshi has been defeated my lord?" Akuhei turned to glare at him but nodded. "Such is the fate of all traitors my lord." Akuhei simply muttered as he sat back down.

"I need another yokai to be sent after him."

"If I may my lord, the path he is travelling upon leads past an old abandoned mansion which an Ao nyōbō calls home."

"Do you truly think such a weak creature would be able to beat Hiccup Haddock when one of my strongest subordinates failed?"

"If we give her an item that she may use as a weapon enhance her strength and killing capabilities."

"And do you have any thoughts on what this item could be?" The hooded figure nodded and pulled out a folded-up fan.

"I believe that with your magic imbued into it, this item should be quite useful to her." Akuhei took the fan andsaw it was no ordinary fan, but a black war fan known as a tessen with iron sticks and edges that were sharp as blades with a lotus flower pattern on the edges and a large flower in the middle.

"Where did you get this?"

"I stole it from a kunoichi that I encountered many moons ago when I was still gathering the needed materials for your resurrection." Akuhei nodded.

"I admit, I might be able to turn this into something useful with my magic imbued into it but what makes you think the Ao nyōbō would be willing to help in the defeat of Hiccup Haddock?"

"Her kind have always been focused on one thing and that is satisfying their hunger by feasting on rotten food or humans and when we offer her a weapon to enhance her fighting capabilities which shall help her gain more food alongside a human to feast on, she shall gladly join us." Akuhei nodded as he closed the fan.

"Very well, I shall bless this fan with my power." He growled as the fan began glowing blood red within his hand before the glow faded and he handed the weapon back to the hooded figure. "Deliver this to the Ao nyōbō with the instructions to kill Hiccup Haddock and should she refuse, kill her where she stands." The hooded figure nodded.

"As you command." With that he set off, leaving Akuhei to continue draining the life of all that entered within range of his power and that range was growing fast.

2 days later

Hiccups POV:

It's been two days since I went up against the Hōsōshi and since then, not much has happened other than me coming across a real inn where I was able to get a meal and room for the night. Other than that, there's been nothing, not even a visit from Asami meaning that it might be taking time to remove the dark magic within the Yajiri nari yari. I didn't mind waiting though since I still had a large arsenal of weapons at my disposal so there was no rush in getting it and besides that, I needed to keep my guard up since there's no telling what Akuhei will send next. Now it was late afternoon and I was travelling on foot with my kappa shell helmet on my head and the reason for this is it had begun raining hard half an hour ago making it hard to see while riding the shell. This way I could not only avoid accidents but also keep some of the rain off me since I didn't have an umbrella to keep the rain from falling on me. It was then I noticed a mansion in the distance and let out a sigh knowing that it might provide me with shelter from the rain if I can convince the owners to let me spend the night.

When I got the mansion however, I figured it wouldn't be that big an issue since the place was pretty worn out with multiple holes and cracks in the walls and roof along with rabid plant life, dead leaves covering the path and cobwebs covering the entryway with the door being made of rotting wood. It wasn't that hard to figure out that this mansion was abandoned, meaning it wasn't exactly luxuries, but it was better than being stuck outside in the rain. Just to be on the safe side though, I pulled out my snake nun chucks since for all I knew, some bandits might have turned this old mansion into a base and there were yokai who turned these kinds of places into their homes. It's because of this that I kept my guard up as I slowly made my way up the worn and weed covered path with the rain falling down on me.

I reached the door and slowly pushed the door open and listened to it open with a creek from the rusty hinges and looked around the room and had to say, this place was filthy to say the least. The room was large with a few sliding doors to other rooms with a dead plant in each corner, cobwebs every corner, weeds growing through the holes in the floorboards that were also covered in a thick lair of dust. I slowly made my way deeper into the room but when I reached the middle of the room, I noticed dried bloodstains on the floor meaning something was up since I could easily tell that this blood stained the floor a few days ago.

I kneeled to examine the blood and get a better look at the stains but the second I did the sound of cutting wind reached my ears and I quickly tuck and rolled out of the way just as five, foot long silver blades shaped like thin diamonds struck where I just was. That brief description was as far as I got before I had to jump out of the way of three more blades that were launched at me from above. I looked towards the rafters to see where the blades were coming from just in time to see five more coming at me but this time, I swung my snake nun chucks into the coming blades, knocking them away from me so they wouldn't reach me. I looked to where the blades came from and saw a woman like creature wearing formal many layered kimono with the bottom lair being yellow followed by orange and then pink, all looking moth ridden and filthy, its black hair reaching its waist in a tangled mess. Covering the lower half of its face was a black fan with red lotus flower patterns on the edges and a large flower in the middle with the patterns glowing an eerie metallic grey.

It was then she folded up the fan to expose her face and I winced in horror at the sight of a horrific wrinkled face, wearing the white face of a courtier, with high painted eyebrows and blackened teeth exposed by a horrific smile. I knew right then and there that this was an Ao nyōbō, a yokai that inhabits the empty, abandoned homes of ruined families and fallen nobles where as if they are in anticipation for the arrival of some guest and should a person visit a home inhabited by one of them, they're devoured whole and this one was looking at me as its next meal. I glared at her before I readied my snake nun chucks, igniting the flames within the mouths as he said.

"I cannot catch a break today." With that said I swung the blue snake forward, launching a blue flaming ball at the yokai, beginning our fight.

Nobodies POV:

The Ao nyōbōwas quick to jump down from the rafter in order to avoid the flaming ball that Hiccup had launched at her and landed on the floor glaring at Hiccup who simply continue to rapidly spin his nun chucks. The Ao nyōbō swung the fan towards him with the fan facing down, launching five more blades at him but instead of backing up and dodging, Hiccup charged at her while knocking the blades to the floor. He then quickly began rapidly launching fire balls from the red snake which the Ao nyōbō was quick to dodge but Hiccup didn't stop launching them.

When he was five feet away the Ao nyōbō fanned the fan right at Hiccup, launching a powerful wind blast at Hiccup which sent him flying back but Hiccup regained his balance quickly and kneeled down as he slid across the floor. The Ao nyōbō continued to fan with the winds becoming stronger and pushing at Hiccup, slowly sending him back towards the other sides wall. Hiccup growled before the Ao nyōbō launched five blades at Hiccup once more feeling that this time, Hiccup couldn't dodge the blades and would die. Hiccup saw the blades speeding at his body and quickly dropped to the ground while releasing the legs of his spider pack and stabbing them into the ground, holding him in place and allowing the blades to go over his head. The Ao nyōbō in a moment of shock, stopped fanning the fan, bringing an end to the wind which presented Hiccup with an opportunity that he was all too happy to take.

Hiccup used the legs of his spiderpack to launch himself at the Ao nyōbō with the red snake of his nun chucks held high as he brought it down towards his foe with the mouth of the snake blazing with an angry red flame. The Ao nyōbō quickly closed the fan and brought it up, blocking the snake but not before the snake was able to launch a single ball of fire that passed by inches from the Ao nyōbō's head, singing its hair. The Ao nyōbō jumped back from Hiccup while growling like some sort of savage animal before unfolding the fan once more and charging at Hiccup with it raised high. She slashed her fan down at Hiccup as five blades popped up from the top and sliced them toward Hiccup who quickly jumped back to avoid the blade before the Ao nyōbō charged at him.

The Ao nyōbō continued to slash the fan at Hiccup who continued to either dodge the fan or block it with one of the snakes that made the staffs of his nun chucks. The sound of wind being cut mixed with the sound of metal striking metal, filling and echoing through the room along with the angered growls of the Ao nyōbō who tried her very best to end the life of her foe. It was then she stabbed the fan forward intending to stab it into Hiccups chest, but Hiccup stepped to the side and quickly struck the arm with the red snake which immediately clamped its fangs down on the Ao nyōbō's arm. The Ao nyōbō screamed in agony as Hiccup swung the blue snake around the arm, wrapping the chains of the nun chucks around it before he twisted it, bringing the Ao nyōbō's arm behind her back. The Ao nyōbō struggled and writhed in pain as the poison within the red snake slowly took effect and began igniting the Ao nyōbō's insides with flames that didn't burn but caused immense pain as it slowly killed her. Despite the Ao nyōbō screaming so loud it hurt Hiccups ears and her struggling was getting more violent, Hiccup held on tight knowing that it wouldn't be long before the poison finished her off.

It was as these thoughts went through his head that the poison from the red snake began to take full effect and the veins going around the Ao nyōbō's body began to glow red. The Ao nyōbō let out one last scream of absolute agony as flames burst from her eyes and mouth while her body slowly began to light up which is when Hiccup let go of her and watched as the Ao nyōbō slowly turned to ashes on the ground. When he was sure the Ao nyōbō was no more he let out a sigh before he took notice of the fan that like the Yajiri nari yari was oozing black magic. Hiccup wanted to deal with it but knew that before he did anything, he meeded to check out the rest of the building for anymore inhabitants who would see him as a meal.

1 hour later

Hiccups POV:

It's been an hour since I took down the Ao nyōbō and that time had been spent exploring the very large mansion and in that time, I'm happy to say that I've had no run-ins with any more yokai but did find a couple of antiques that now rest in my spiderpack. Along with this, I accidentally fell through the floor into the basement where I discovered a small fortune in gold, jewels and other such items that was most likely from the people the Ao nyōbō devoured which joined the antiques in my spiderpack. After examining the full mansion though I had to admit that it was a dump, but it would make a good shelter for the evening and made my way back to the entrance hall to handle the fan. It was then I walked in and found Asami sitting in front of the ashes and smiled as I said.

"Hello Asami."

"Hello Hiccup, I came intending to deliver the now cleansed Yajiri nari yari but it looks like I have to take yet another item to be cleansed of dark magic."

"Don't blame me, I just take out those who wield them." She nodded as she took the fan into one of her tails.

"I have left the Yajiri nari yari against the wall there." She gestured to a wall where the weapon stood. "I have been told it is mainly to be used against spirit yokai and now possesses a great power, imbued into it by the dragons forge and can only be used once." I turned to her.

"What's this power?"

"I don't know, all the forge master said was you would know when it is time to use it." I sighed.

"Guys like him never give straight answers." She nodded.

"It's what they do." She then gave me a bow and vanished with the fan, leaving me alone in the room.

"Well better get a fire started and get some dinner ready." With that said, I got to work on settling in while picking up the Yajiri nari yari and putting it in my sash on the way.

Akuhei's lair

Nobodies POV:

Akuhei roared in rage after witnessing Hiccup defeat yet another yokai who had a weapon infused with his power which should have made it impossible for her to lose but once again, Hiccup not only defeated her but also handed the weapon over to his ex-love. She no doubt intended to take it back to the dragons' forge and not only have it altered to serve Hiccup Haddock but also turn his own magic against him. This time the hooded figure was outside the cave knowing it best to keep away from his master, should he decide to drain him of his life force in rage. For now, though all he could do was remain calm and plan his next attack on Hiccup Haddock which might actually succeed in killing the mortal.

4 days later

The hooded figure stood in the middle of a mountain path and looking down at a large group of glowing spirits with faces resembling those of hyenas, bodies of leopards and the back end of the bodies being nothing more than streams of blue fire while they were the size of wild boars. These creatures were known as Jami's, manifestations of the ill will of the mountains and forests which the hooded figure had just awoken to kill Hiccup Haddock. The reason the figure believed them capable of ending him is because they are capable of possessing and inhabiting human bodies, infecting sickness and disease upon their human hosts and he doubted even Hiccup Haddock could fight illness with a weapon. The jami all restlessly growled and moved from side to side, eager to hear why this hooded figure had awakened them from their slumber. The hooded figure raised his arms, silencing them all before he said.

"I have awakened you because a mortal named Hiccup Haddock approached." They growled and snarled at the mention of a mortal. "Kill him!" They all growled, howled and roared in joy at the aspect of killing a mortal once more as the hooded figure vanished into the shadows with a cruel smile on his face believing that not only would these yokai succeed in killing Hiccup but also make his death a slow and painful death.

1 day later

Hiccups POV:

It was late at night and I was making my way down a mountain path with the only light shining to light my way being the light of the full moon shining down on me and illuminating the path through the tall trees that lined the path. Still though, as I made my way down the path, I couldn't help but feel that there was someone watching me as I made my way towards the edge of the forest. It was then I saw ghostly blue glow from my side and quickly tuck and rolled forward, just as some sort of flaming creature rushed over where I was once standing. I was greeted by the sight of some sort of ghost with a hyena face, leopard body and a lower body made of light blue flames and immediately knew it was a Jami that was glaring at me with glowing yellow eyes. It let out a loud roar and it was then the area around me was lit with light blue flames showing I was now surrounded by multiple Jami and sighed before I pulled out my Yajiri nari yari and although I hadn't had the proper chance to train with it, it might be my only weapon that's effective against spirits. Fortunately training with a normal Yajiri nari yariis something I'd done before and considered myself skilled with this type of weapon so remembering my practice, I pointed my weapon at the nearest jami and said.

"Bring it on mut!" It growled at me before charging at me.

Nobodies POV:

Hiccup smirked at the sight of the jami charging right at him probably thinking that the weapon in his hands wouldn't be able to harm it while the others watched. When the jami was in range, Hiccup quickly stabbed the head of his weapon forward right into the yokai's chest making it roar in pain as its body shone brightly before it burst in a small fiery explosion. From this explosion a crystal bead that was the size of an eye with a small light blue flame within it fell to the ground but Hiccups couldn't examine it as he could tell the other jami weren't too happy with what he'd just done. They all made this clear by letting out hostile roars and growls before charging at Hiccup with their teeth bared and claws at the ready to tear him apart.

One jumped at Hiccup from his right side but he quickly swung his Yajiri nari yari down on the jami, stabbing the side blade into the skull of his foe who did the same thing as the first one and burst before turning into an orb with a flame within. Hiccup then swung the Yajiri nari yari to the right and kept it going to form a half circle, killing four more jami as he did so before he raised the weapon up and slammed it down behind him, impaling another one through the body. Hiccup then charged forward at another one of the jami's that charged at Hiccup in return but when he was in range, Hiccup thrust the end of his Yajiri nari yari into the chest of the jami. As the jami body began lighting up, Hiccup continued his charge and slammed it into the ground and pole-vaulted up, over the body as more jami came at him.

As he came down, he slammed the blade of the Yajiri nari yari down onto another jami with the blade going right through the head of the jami. Hiccup then quickly pulled it back up in an upward slash towards another jami, slicing the head in two to kill it before Hiccup looked around to see how many more jami were left. He didn't get that much time to count though since another three jami charged at him, but he quickly stabbed the one in the middle, in the stomach. Before its body could explode though Hiccup lifted it up, spun around and threw the body into the two charging jami, stopping the two right as it exploded, killing all three of them. Hiccup took a short breath before he swung his weapon at another jami, stabbing it in the side before he kept swinging, stabbing three more by either stabbing them with the side that became free after the bodies exploded or by slashing their heads with the head blade. Hiccup didn't realize it for a moment, but he'd actually created a whirlwind with wind that was sharp as razor blade and a pull that succeeded in pulling every remaining jami in, to their doom. When Hiccup realized this, he stopped spinning around and slammed the bottom of the Yajiri nari yari into the ground and looked around to find himself, now surrounded by the crystal orbs. He smiled at the sight and said.

"Well that's a ton of spirits who aren't going to making anyone else ill." He then looked around at the marbles. "Better gather these things up since there's no telling what they'll do if I leave them alone." Hiccup put his Yajiri nari yariaway andpulled out an empty leather bag, not wanting to risk putting them in his spiderpack and began gathering them into it and once they were all collected, Hiccup looked down into the bag and asked himself. "Now what am I going to do with these things?" A voice from behind him replied.

"How's about handing them over to me since I might be able to have them turned into something at the dragons forge." Hiccup sighed and turned to face none other than Asami standing there.

"Are you just going to show up every time I've defeated an enemy?" She smiled.

"It's how I do things and it gives me the chance to collect materials for the dragons forge." Hiccup nodded and tossed her the bag which she caught with her tail.

"Not sure what can be made from those weird orbs." She giggled.

"Hiccup, I thought you'd figured out that the dragons forges power mixed with its master's skill, they can make a weapon out of anything." Hiccup chuckled.

"Well I'm looking forward to seeing what can be made from those things." She smiled.

"As am I." With that said she disappeared and Hiccup continued his journey.

AN: And that brings an end to another action-packed chapter and yes, I know the fights aren't very exciting but I figured you guys knew by now that I'm not very good at writing the combat scenes. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and will review kindly and would like it more if you actually remembered to review since reading them gives me something to do. Anyway remember, have a nice day and stay safe.
