Last note: Bella is a spy, and assassin. She kills, and steals. She does whatever she needs to do to get the job done.
Present:
None of us spoke as we reached the airport.
The drive between our house, and the airport seemed to blur.
Somehow Alice managed to get me into a different set of clothes, and a wig in auburn with blonde highlights.
Rose was now wearing a black and crimson wig with curls, an alpine sweater and sweats.
Alice's long hair was now hidden under a shoulder length black wig, and she was wearing a blue jacket and tan pants.
"What in the hell are we wearing?" I asked her, confused.
"We needed to be less conspicuous. So, I pulled out the clothes we used a few months ago while on the mission in Switzerland. Let's go. We still need to check in." She told me.
I nodded before pulling out my fake I.D, and passport, before heading inside.
"Go to baggage claim. Check in. We'll see each other on the plane." I instructed, as we grabbed out duffle bags, before heading inside and separating.
Rose and Alice nodded, before splitting up.
I slid on a pair of glasses, before quickly making my way.
I went to baggage claim, set my bag down before heading to the bathroom to wash my face before heading through everything else.
As I finished getting through the security point, I heard my phone ring.
I ignored it, and slid my shoes and coat back on before heading in the direction of the terminal.
I looked down at my watch, realizing that only five minutes were left before I needed to go.
Rose and Alice made it onto the plane. I sat in the correct seat, before pulling my phone out and realizing I had about forty missed calls from a lot of people.
"Miss, we're about to take off, can you please turn your phone off?" The stewerdess asked.
"Oh, yes, I was just— a-bout to do that." I replied, shutting it down before dropping it in my purse.
The moment we were in the air it felt as if we all let out a sigh of relief.
It would be hours before we made it to our destination.
When we had been an hour or so into our flight, Alice stood up and sat in the empty seat next to mine.
"Bee, we need to talk." She softly said.
"About what?" I murmured hesitantly.
"Charles called before I got on." She replied.
I raised a brow at her, looking around inconspicuously before nodding for her to continue.
"He said Edward and the guys arrived in Boston before realizing we were gone. They're all anxious." She explained.
I nodded, Uncle Charles was the only other man I trusted with my life.
He took it upon himself to keep me safe after my dad died. He's the only other family member I had.
"How long did it take for them to realize we were gone?" I asked her.
She looked down at her wrist, "Three hours." She replied.
"Have any of them tried to call you?" I asked, concerned.
"No, actually, my phone has been off since we reached the airport. Charlie got me through my apple watch." Alice replied.
"I told you not to get that shit, for all you know Jasper could be tracking you through it." I replied with exasperation.
"He's not. See, he bought me one, and I bought myself another… I call it my back up. As soon as I left, I left the one he gave me at the penthouse. The one that is connected to everything is this one. I bought an iPhone, an ipad and connected that one to this one. All my files and designs are on this one. The other one I use to play Candy crush, to draw and color, oh and look up naughty fanfiction." She replied amused.
I smiled, surprised at her ingenuity. Before nodding in approval. "Edward gave me a watch too. I bought the same one and left the one he gave me at his house. It had a tracker chip, which I knew gave him peace of mind. Sadly, today is the first day I am using this one." I replied, tiredly.
"You mean all your shit is connected to the old watch?" She asked gapping at me.
I scoffed and rolled my eyes at her. "No, I had a second phone. Like you did. Only I used the other phone to read books on Amazon, study Portuguese, and Latin on Duolingo and do brain puzzles." I shrugged.
She snorted, "Mafia books?" She asked.
I smirked at her, "What else is there to read? Mean Boss books? The Blind Date?" I asked sarcastically.
Alice shook her head at me amused, before sighing. "I'm going to miss being Mary Alice." She whispered.
I bit my lip, willing myself not to cry, "I'll miss being Isabella. But it's for the best, only those who need to know, knew. It's the sad, and hard part about being in this life, but we chose to do it." I replied.
She nodded, in sadness.
"They'll get over us and move on. Don't worry." I replied.
"What are we going to do when we arrive?" She asked, trying to change the subject.
Bless her heart.
"We're meeting with Ianah and Stavros. We've got a job to complete." I informed her.
She groaned in response, "So soon? Why can't we take a break for a few days?" She asked.
"Because the faster we begin the faster we can move. I know they'll be trying to find us. The faster we move, the harder it'll be for them to do so. They can't trace us. But they'll find a way. I know they will." I told her.
She gave me a nod before sighing again. "You're right." She replied, before moving to get up. "Will you be okay?" She asked before she got up.
I nodded, "I will be. With time." I murmured.
Keep an eye on all the names... they're hints tonwher they'll be going. ;-)
