Hey everyone, thank you so much for reading. It is nice to see who is team Jihoo and team Junpyo; love all your comments.
The rumor nobody had believed, the leader of the minions had shared with his friends about how the mute girl had slapped Junpyo twice. Per usual, his minions extended it to their classmates. By the time Thursday morning came, everybody on campus had already heard about the rumor but nobody believed it. Only the minions who had seen what she could do believed it. For everybody else, it was a wild rumor that started to just bully this girl even more. Nobody in their right mind would believe anybody would dare touch Junpyo. Those that adored the prince of the school to their bones, only needed to see him that morning to get their proof that he probably doesn't even know the mute girl, let alone have enough going on to be slapped by her. Their wishes were answered when all saw his car slowly drive on the road leading to the driveway. Parked behind Yijeong's car, Junpyo had slowly gotten out of his car, his face hidden behind the hoodie he had over his head and the shades covering his eyes. There is no way he even knows she exists, most had dismissed the rumors as they kept glancing at Junpyo and Yijeong standing by their cars, having a chat. Jihoo joining them minutes later, for some he was the connecting glue as they recalled how she had been seen with him quite often these last few weeks.
" Are you good?" Jihoo, leaning his friend's way, asked as he kept his eyes on Junpyo, looking for his cigarette. The coffee he hasn't had, he needs some nicotine to start the day.
" why won't I be?" His questioning eyes rested on Jihoo. The latter, who had spent hours processing what happened yesterday, still didn't have any answer to the hundreds of questions running through his head. Junpyo, who left campus after what happened in the swimming pool, Jihoo knew there was no way his friend was taking her slaps that lightly.
" You wanted me to apologize, I did," Junpyo's fake smile was dismissed by Jihoo, who still can't accept what happened,
" You should be happy" Junpyo, finally finding his cigarette in his back pocket, sent another fake smile at Jihoo. The cigarette he placed in between his lips was quickly pulled by Jihoo.
" What now?" Junpyo asked, leaning back against his car and waiting for Jihoo to lay out his demands. While Jihoo kept his confused eyes on his friend, he was reminded of the shocking words of one of the minions who claimed that Junpyo was doing it all to protect him.
"We need to talk" Jihoo knew he needed to spend some alone time with his friend he hadn't spent any alone time with in a while. and get some answers. Yijeong standing by Jihoo had been silently observing the weird air between the two, who always fight like an old couple. The rumor that had even reached him thanks to the girl he had dinner with, Yijeong had, without even hesitation, dismissed it as crazy rumors. Now listening to the two was when he doubted if what they were referring to was the crazy rumor. it can't be. Nobody slaps Junpyo, let alone that weird girl he has been telling them all to stay away from.
" Wait, what happened yesterday?" Yijeong asked, getting an immediate reaction from both that turned his way. Their focused eyes questioned what he had heard.
" I heard a rumor that you got slapped by that freak," Yijoeng explained, giving both Ji Hoo and Junpyo a pause that forced them to realize what it means for the rumor to have reached Yijeong. That means the whole school has heard about it and is probably ready to defend the prince if the rumor is true. Junpyo, who already hated the looks he gets without rumors, being looked at was his first worry as he brushed his hair and let out a deep sigh. Both Yijoeng and JIhoo had assumed it was because people would be shocked somebody defined his rule, but no.
" It's not true, is it?" Yijoeng, sending his eyes from Junpyo covering his face and aggressively brushing his hair, turned to Jihoo.
" SHE SLAPPED YOU?" Yijeong asked, shocking himself.
"What?" his right hand sent to grab Junpyo and turn him his way, Yijoeng kept on asking. Junpyo known not to be good at lying, was his target.
" He has been bullying her for weeks" Jihoo coming to her defense was automatic as both his friends sent their eyes his way. It was easy to tell how annoyed both his friends were by his new behavior. If the rumor was true, the girl doesn't need defenders, so why Jihoo keeps doing this is even more puzzling.
" First of all, it was Woobin who had been doing that. All Junpyo does is stand behind" Yijoeng provided some correction in defense of his friend, which Jihoo seems to have turned his back against. It wasn't even about this girl, Jihoo, who had always been ready to defend the scholarship kids; it had felt like he was outside of the group for a while now.
" Do you wanna tell him, or should I, " Jihoo asked about the Friday incident that had led to all of this. Yijeong waited for somebody to explain what was going on but didn't get his answer as both that could provide him the answer turned their attention to the whisperer noises the students around the driveway started making when the girl of the hour finished her walk along the long pathway and came to the driveway.
Her earphone plugged into her ears, and Jandi's slow steps were a result of her wanting to enjoy the moment as she recognized the rumor had reached every student. This was it. She really has become an overnight celebrity. She had spent all night preparing for this moment and to be honest, she was a bit happy more than nervous about what was coming for her. By now, she was used to weird and disgusted looks coming her way. Her classmates have prepared her for this. Getting looks from these people was nothing, nor will the childish bullying coming her way. She knew that if they truly accepted that she slapped their leader, they would revert to childish bullying and never dare to openly come for her. She had spent the whole evening calculating every option before she realized there was no reason to hide or silently take anything anymore. There was no reason to live under an invisible mask anymore. The school they were done with, she didn't have to do any mental gymnastics to justify why she had decided just to not give a shit.
Waking up hours before dawn, the hour she spent exercising and reminding her body of all it has been trained to do to become her greatest tool, the adrenaline running through her veins was on a different level as she stood by the empty park and welcomed the sun rising for another day. The smile of the rising sun was all she needed to be silently reminded of who she was. The badass little devil, her neighbor knew her as, the walk back home was the only thing she needed to remember who she was. Her sweat washed away with the cold shower messaging her muscles; she had spent a few minutes staring back at her reflection, reminding herself of the fearless ten-year-old girl covered in blood that stares back at herself whenever she faces a mirror. The voice whispers it might be time to show them who you are, trying hard to convince her to walk into the world as her authentic self. Unmasking all the fake politeness, the nonstop bowing down and catering to others, quietly taking in the constant reminders of being at the bottom. It whispers to let it all go and show the world the monster hidden behind the veil.
But it was not the time. Nor was being bullied by rich kids a justifiable reason.
Being herself wasn't a privilege she has for now. She can't afford to light the place up on fire, yet but until then, the best she could do was stop worrying about any of them. The school that had wasted all her time on and the spoiled kids she had stayed hard to be invisible to, there was no use to any of it anymore. A bunch of spoiled kids and bullying? It would be too disappointing to lose everything she had built for them. Imagine being trained to hunt and kill the people that ruled the underworld of the city and losing to bored highschoolers.
Fuck them. Fuck them all - Was the attitude she had on as she stepped outside her house and headed to school.
Her leather jacket zipped up all the way, on top of her hair that was brushed and slicked back into a tight bun, she not only felt different but looked different. Her hands buried in her pocket, the girl didn't look like she had a care in the world as she walked through the crowd of students in the driveway. Her terrifying eyes forced some to turn away from her the moment she landed her eyes on their face. Some of them only needed that to believe that she really might have done it. She looked beyond fierce and she just might be crazy enough to have done it. In between the disgusted and angry faces, she had caught the admiring eyes that were amazed by her presence. Those are the students she was interested in. The ones that had to hide their smiles and glee when they learned about somebody finally daring to touch F4, not just F4 but the leader. The boy with his last name plastered across the school, the ones happy about the slap he got, it was their glee she would use to keep her head high and do what they could only dream about.
" She's crazy" She avoided the whispers she could hear over the song entertaining her ears. As the students started moving out of her way, to let her pass through, her eyes finally landed on the F4 boys standing by their cars. Everybody around her had followed her eyes that landed on the three boys. Jihoo extended a tiny smile, hiding his nervousness. She quickly lifted her eyes to Yijeong standing beside him. With the shocked look in his eyes, she knew the news was still very fresh for this one. Her eyes moved to the next and landed on the one she had slapped. His eyes hidden behind his glasses, half of his face covered by his hair, and topped with the hoodie he had on, Jandi couldn't tell what was going on with the person she doesn't want to spend a second thinking about but can't help it. She can fake bravado through it all, but she knew he had beyond enough power and knows too much for her not to be worried about. Her emotions she could mask beyond well, her legs didn't even lose a step as she continued her walk. Totally dismissing the tension in the space and all the eyes that were on her, Jandi turned her eyes to the door head and continued her walk.
" Hey," she didn't hear the loud voice but the reaction of those around her to it.
" hey," Yijeong repeated moving Jihoo's hand away from him. He tapped Jihoo's hand and we're trying to hold him back again.
" Come here," Yijing commanded, pointing at the girl that turned their way.
" Stop it, '' Jihoo whispered but was ignored, and Yijeong repeated his command.
" Come," he pointed, and surprisingly, the girl didn't hesitate as she turned around and started walking their way. The complete lack of fear on her well-moisturized and clear face, most were amazed by just that as they followed her every step. Jihoo studying the new look on her face, couldn't even look away until he heard Junpyo's low whisper
" fuck" Junpyo cursed while sending his hand to grab the cigarette Jihoo took from him. He needs it.
" What are you doing?" Jihoo asked Yijeong.
" trying to find out if she did " The bickering of the two was cut short when she stopped her walking and stood a step away from the three. Choosing to be safe, she had decided Jihoo would be the best person to stand next to. She doesn't know or understand why, but she knows he will come to her defense, even against his friends. The weird relationship she had built with him, this was the best way to use it. Against his own friends.
" hi," Jihooo was the one to start with a small smile. The node she sent his way, only Yijeong was shocked to see.
" What's your problem?" Yijeong asked, forcing her eyes to turn his way. She contemplated for a second, would it be worth it to even respond to his questions? No, it wasn't. She just started back. It was always fun to see them lose their minds because they can't get a response or a reaction out of her.
" I am talking to you" his hand that came for her shoulder didn't reach its goal.
" Don't '' Jihoo leaned forward and used his arm to push Yijeong away.
" or what?" yijeong's question she didn't care that much about as her eyes turned to the quiet one. It irked her that she even was able to recognize how Junpyo was really the quiet one of the group. She rarely caught him in a full conversation with anybody, even his friends. The quiet and apparently awkward one of the personality she had assigned him before even hearing his voice, knowing he was the quiet type was added to the list of things that made him even more dangerous on her hate list. He looks beyond dark and haunted, she assessed, taking in all the black covering him from head to toe. How does one that had everything anybody could imagine of, look this miserable? Maybe there is a limit to wealth and this filthy rich brat had crossed over to a type of wealth and all the desires that come with it which she wouldn't even understand or would want to.
" Did you touch him?" Yi Jeong asked, knowing he won't get an honest answer from the best friends that would keep what happened to themselves. Unbeknown to him he was giving her the startling news that yet again, it wasn't Junpyo that shared what she had done like she thought he would. Maybe he was too embarrassed to even say it. It's an ego thing, she used that as the reason behind his sealed lips that haven't even said a word to anyone since he left campus after lunch.
" stop bothering her"
" You don't have to listen to him." Jihoo pushing Yijeong gave her more smiles, trying hard to convince her to leave.
" DID SHE REALLY?" Yijoeng asked, pushing Jihoo's hands away from him and turning to Junpyo.
" Did she?" Yijeong, now more baffled by Junpyo's behavior than the girl, turned all focus to the man who finally got the first sniff of the nicotine he had been dying to get into his system. He smokes with his left hand - Jandi didn't even know why she recognized that. It was subconscious. Just like how she had noticed how he touches his hair when he's uncomfortable. Eagerly waiting to see him admit to what happened, her mind was too busy fully enjoying the moment to recognize what was happening to her subconscious curiosity that had landed on the man she had by now kicked, slapped, and cursed out. The man she had expected to retaliate with all he got, her curiosity was instinctual as it tried to understand what could possibly be happening in his evil mind. Why hasn't he done anything?
" you really let her touch you?" Yijoeng asked, giving Jandi the one thing she needed to wipe away the smile she was hiding. She had forgotten how these people don't even want to be touched by her type. Their disgust for her was so low that the touch was the most shocking part, not the slap. That stung more than any slap he might have landed against her. The quick reality check she just got wiped away everything else. The smirk that escaped her lips, none of the boys had caught. Their attention was on Yijeong. All had turned her way when they recognized a movement and saw the girl that started walking away.
" YAA" Yijeong screamed for her attention but didn't get what he wanted as her steps didn't stop, nor did she turn around. Her black boots marching across the driveway actually quicked her steps away. The students walking out of her way were the only ones that got a good look at her angry eyes. The girl walking away from the F4, even the ones that hated her guts, had given her credit. Even walking away from the boys, even that was a level of confidence unseen on this campus.
"YAAAAA" his voice got louder to only shock the students around them.
" Leave her alone' even Jihoo was surprised by the new girl that had given him more shock in the last 24 hours than since he had known her. She really just walked away from them, in front of students.
Everybody that saw her halfway , had walked away from her direction as the rumors kept spreading even faster. By the time she walked into her class, she wasn't surprised to notice how her classmates had returned to their childish games. All the food and coffee they had spilled on her desk; she was happy that they gave her something to do as she enjoyed her music while cleaning her desk. The beat drumming in her ears, she had taken her coat off as she started cleaning by collecting the smashed muffins on her desk. Who pays for an entire muffin just to do this? These idiots, she smiled. Were these the childish games she really was going to lose everything for? How pathetic of her, she thought. When the first teacher walked in, she was done cleaning and sat down, unwrapping her sleeves.
The childish games they had just started, she knew more was coming her way by the time they finished two classes and were given their morning break. Her locker she headed to, she should have known something was up when her class turned quite behind her. The balloon that exploded as she pulled her locker open, whatever they had filled it in, had landed right at her chest. The sticky pink liquid had splattered across her face as Jandi stood there, taking in the giggles from behind her. The liquid that covered all her stuff in the locker, Jandi was more upset about the books that had gotten wet than her uniform she now had to change. Banging her locker shut, she quickened her steps out of the classroom. Thinking her quick steps were her running away from them; her classmates cheered. They had no idea it was for their own good. Her fast walk across the hallway, she had only caught the smiles of some of the students pointing at her shirt and not Junpyo who noticed her march and made out the turn she took. His phone hung up, he followed her steps behind.
The bathroom door slammed open, she was focused on trying to wash the sticky liquid off of her. She really didn't want to change to her gym uniform at 10 in the morning so the best option was to wash it. She doesn't mind sitting with a wet shirt and she was busy taking the shirt off to notice the person who walked in. The bathroom not many people used, she had assumed somebody as odd as her was the one that walked in. Her fingers finishing the last button of her button-up shirt, she took it off. Thankfully the liquid hasn't gotten through to the white undershirt she had on. Her hands holding the dress shirt, squeezed the dirty part as she placed it under the hot running water. At the edge of the mirror, her very careful eyes had made out the tall legs which she quickly recognized as odd. Her eyes lifted up to the whole mirror, and she got her answer immediately. Not even remotely prepared to run into him here, she needed a second to assess the situation.
While she was busily calculating escape routes, her eyes hadn't lifted their fixed focus on the reflection of Junpyo standing by the corner of the bathroom. With his all-black look, he really was scary to even look at. His ghostly white face cuddled by his dark hair and the hoodie he had on, for anybody that cared it was easy to note this boy hasn't seen sunlight in years. The slow weight loss that had dug into his chubby cheek he was known for as a kid, his cheekbones and jawline that was as sharp as a knife was a result of that. Added to his ghostly look, it was all alarming, but it looked too good for anybody to care much about it. While contemplating what else he could do to ruin her day, even Jandi had spent a second, but just a single second, wondering why he looked so menacing. Even for the girl that would jump on any opportunity to kill him, his odd look was becoming hard not to notice. For those that cared it would be a major flag but there weren't any that cared. Everybody around him was a paid staff, whose lives depended on catering to his demands and bowing down to any and every request. There was nobody that dared say the word No, let alone tell him to change his ways. The only one that ever cared was Jihoo and lately, even he has been occupied with somebody else.
'Are we even now?' His low voice was the wake-up her mind needed to start functioning again as she shifted her eyes down to the running warm water. What does he want? Was the only thing that was bothering her as her frantic and ready-to-fight fingers were given her dress shirt to squeeze and pinch on. Her fingers ordered to get ready, the rush of energy she got was used on the dress shirt. His slow steps towards her, she was instantly commanded to be on standby as she moved her body slowly to turn towards Junpyo, who halted his steps and stood by the wall next to the hand drier. Only a few steps between them, the face she slapped twice not even 24 hours ago was in clear view in front of her. Her flight or fight mode activated, the first thing to always look for is any sign of weapons. His hands in his hoodie pocket, she scanned the shape to notice there was nothing else but his hands. The strength of his grip she was quickly reminded of, she was warned to not dismiss that he might know how to fight even if he was bare-handed. What does he want? Her anxiety had started sending signals that came from not knowing anything about what he could do or what he wanted?
Does he want to fight?
Is he going to give her the red card for what she had?
Is he going to tell Woobin's family?
Is he going to slap her back?
What does he want?
"Are we?" his raspy voice brought her attention from the dress shirt she was aggressively washing, up. Her head turned right, her eyes landed on him. His eyes waiting for her didn't get any response. She quietly returned her eyes to the dress shirt and running water.
"Leave Jihoo alone" This one was the one that paused her hands. More confused now than ever, she sent her eyes back to Junpyo.
" You beat woo bin, you hit me"
"That should be enough so leave him alone" he added as his right hand slipped out of his pocket. Her immediate reaction was to step away from him, Junpyo had caught her reaction as he sent his hand to lower his hoodie and brush his hair back. She is waiting for him to attack her. That was a normal reaction to have. If anybody dared to slap him, they would be paranoid at all times that he would slap or hit them back.
" I am not gonna touch you"
" I think I've said that before'' the smirk that accompanied his words was misinterpreted by the girl that doesn't know anything about the boy. His weird habits and lack of communication skills that will cost him so much, this was just the start.
"Huh" She held the tiny sting she got out of realizing that he was right. He has said it before, and she didn't need a reminder that these people weren't even willing to touch the likes of her. Thai was the second reminder of the day. Her place they didn't mind reminding her of, she really had no idea why she expected them to know better. He probably was disgusted by her touching him more than even actually getting hit. It was easier to accept his words that way than thinking he might have meant that he wasn't going to hit her.
"He didn't do anything so leave him alone" The fact that Junpyo was asking and not using the lines of evidence he had against her should have been the green flag for her to notice that this was the best option. She could just accept his offer and let it all die. This could have been it. All he was asking was for her to leave his friend alone. She had beat down Woobin and hospitalized him. She had beaten down the minions. And she had done the impossible and even kicked and slapped Junpyo. She was being asked an easy deal, to just leave Jihoo alone. But the ugly mix of anger and anxiety wasn't a good place for her mind to make decisions from. Also, it felt like a humiliating defeat to accept anything this man could ever offer. Her pure hatred had clouded her judgment to the point that even just ignoring him just to annoy him was more appealing than being logical. The fact that she could easily irritate him by ignoring him, which she had learned quickly; she would rather anger him than accept anything he had to offer no matter how reasonable it sounded. Her eyes turned to the running water she turned off, and her shirt she started squeezing. All the ways he could make her life worse if he chooses to. All he can do to make her days a living hell. Everything his family could do to erase this tiny obsession of his from existence, if he asks them to. She knew about it all. She was aware of it all as she still decided not to care."Fuck them all" was the motto she left home with and the attitude she will continue on.
Her hands tightly squeezing all the warm water out of her shirt, she opened the shirt to see if the pink liquid was all gone and it was. There was nothing but wet white fabric. Folding the shirt, she placed it in her left hand as she got ready to leave. Before she even took two steps, her body was pulled back, inches away from him as his right hand repeated the same action that had gotten him kicked.
" I know you can talk, so answer" his low voice sounding annoyed, Jandi's eyes immediately lifted up to his face that was now in her personal space. Why the first thing she was always made aware of when he gets into her personal space was his fancy smell, which she hated, she didn't have an answer for. She also didn't have an answer as to why her eyes never failed to trace every inch of his face before they were reminded of how much she resented everything about him. His messy but luscious hair, which she couldn't even believe he was allowed to have considering the strict dress code policy of the school; of course, this spoiled brat would be allowed to do whatever he wanted. It was his damn school. The thick and dark strands of hair she ignored as she focused on his eyes. The pristine and clear skin of his, she only made out the two beauty marks on his left cheek. The tiny dots looked like teardrops the heavens had marked to force all to notice the beautiful eyes the marks trailed from. Her eyes lost in trying to find an explanation as to why he was doing all this; she hadn't thought about how she was allowing his eyes the same closeup view of her face.
Unlike her, his eyes weren't that good at hiding what they were curious about as they lowered their gaze down. She was the one trained and equipped with all the skills to hide any and every emotion while her blank-looking face was being examined by the one who couldn't hide any of his. The moment his eyes landed on her lips, they were ordered to be lifted back up to her eyes that were waiting for his. All the unknowns of what he wants and every evil thing he is capable of doing were what she blamed for her anxiety that was waving a red flag. The unfamiliar place she was getting pulled to, it was easier to point at her anxiety that got triggered by the simplest touches from anybody that wasn't part of her circle. Her body ready to jump into a fight and even be on kill mode whenever touched by anybody that wasn't given permission to, she blamed that as the cause of her skin that was sending signals from where his cold hand had grabbed her. Occupied with something else, her mind placed the wish of her skin to be free of what was causing discomfort, in the back seat. The years of training she received to know how to handle tension and perfectly mask her anxiety, she chose to ignore as she chose just getting away.
" Huh" she took a deep breath as she tried to move away, and his hand tightened its grip bringing her back to his side. Both their eyes landed on where his cold fingers were wrapped around her arm. His long fingers, which she would never admit to how soft they felt, were touching her skin. The shirt she had taken off exposing her arm, Junpyo hadn't intended to but had finally touched her skin. It took one look into her eyes for him to know this was a first, and she wasn't even remotely happy about it. She had already cursed him out for even trying it when she was clothed. How much she detested him, he could easily feel. Her eyes were shy from showing him how much she was disgusted by the fact that he had dared to touch her. The puzzled Junpyo was getting his daily dose of how there is a possibility that people can be disgusted by being touched by him.
" Just listen for once," following his low voice that sounded like a command, her eyes landed on his face. Did he just tell her what to do? Something she didn't like was being commanded what to do. Especially by the likes of him. Anybody that knew her, knew this girl didn't like being told what to do.
" Don't touch me" Her words didn't have a curse with them this time, but they were just as impactful as last time as they left him startled and paused for a second. So he wasn't imagining it? She really could talk. She really had a voice, a sweet voice that shouldn't accompany such a violent and hatred-filled girl. The death stare he got with her warning, Junpyo wasn't even remotely concerned about how she could slap him or kick him again if she wanted to as he followed the wish of whatever was commanding him to irritate her even more so he could hear her voice one more time.
" Huh" the deep sigh she let out and her eyes closed, Jandi was trying to manage her body that was commanded to attack as his hand landed back on her arm and pulled her back. She was given a direct order to slap him but she was choosing not to with everything she got.
" then leave him alone" his whisper was even more triggering as her body was placed ever so closer to his. His head lowered as he spoke right at her ears, his raspy voice was accompanied by the strands of his hair that flew down and almost touched her face. She couldn't wait for the day she would be allowed to grab a handful of this hair and use it to drag his body around. Her gloved fingers buried in the full head of hair, she couldn't wait to use it to smash his head to pieces. Her blood thirsty thoughts had slipped into a new territory as in between the blood covered wishes of all she could do, she couldn't help but wonder if the dark hair loving left and right in front of her would feel as soft as it looked. The citrusy smell of whatever shampoo he uses now added to his perfume, she added both to the list of things she was irritated by as Jandi dismissed all and she focused on her arm she needed to free.
" Let me go?" Her calm voice was a manufactured fake reaction to all the anxious and rage-filled nerves that were running through her whole body.
" You can slap me but this is off limits?" tightening his grip Junpyo asked, reminding her of his body she had attacked multiple times. Her sharp eyes focused on his face, she was doing everything she could to not raise her right hand begging to land another slap across his face. His well-defined face she wanted to smash against the wall he was standing next to. How many hits against the thick wall would it take before she saw any blood coming down his face? Would he fight back then?
" Just leave him alone. Is it money that you want?" as though she needed another reason to be enraged about, he gave her one more.
" If you and your gang are planning on doing all this for that. I'll just pay you," he added, finally noticing a hint of emotion on her face. The small smile that escaped her lips was involuntary. She had forgotten about how he thought she was just an escort girl who was a member of a gang and probably getting close to Jihoo to get information in exchange for money or just flat out money from him. Junpyo who had seen what she had done to woo bin, knew her gang was capable of threatening or even kidnaping Jihoo to try and get money if not rob him when the perfect opportunity hits. Is he really concerned for Jihoo? Was this all just for that? She quickly dismissed it as nonsense. He really was throwing money at her to make her do what he wants.
"Fuck Off" her curse was sent to irritate him, but it had failed. His tight grip, she escaped, it wasn't all because of her effort but his hand that was stunned to react to her attempt. His grip he had loosened was a result of how much he was shocked and enthralled by how good her voice sounds when she curses. As unusual, she was the one to leave first as she quickened her steps out of the bathroom and headed to her class. The burning sensation of where his hand had touched, she placed the cold dress shirt on, thinking that would work. The tantalizing feeling wasn't coming from the outside but from right underneath her skin. The cold shirt held against it, didn't do much compared to the distance she created with every step she took away. It was distance and getting a minute away that helped calm it all down.
Please, even when she didn't believe in God, she prayed for a day without any sight of Junpyo as she returned back to class. Her focus she tried directing to the files on the laptop, she wasn't given the chance as her mind kept trailing back to what happened in the bathroom. Why does he not slap her back? Her mind started there. She had dealt with many powerful men before and none accepted being humiliated without attacking back. Their big egos and narcissism they live on, she expected the leader of F4 to have slapped her or done something to her in that bathroom. The fact that he hadn't done anything was even more puzzling. He is probably planning something big? Something more than just hitting her or humiliating her. That was what her brain concluded. The whole school that knew of what she did, of course he is planning something major to make sure everybody learns to never ever dare. He is going to make an example out of her. What is he plotting? She spent her classes on that question and praying she wouldn't run to him when the lunch bell rang and she walked out into the hallway.
The one who she should have prayed to not run into should have been Jihoo, who was waiting for her presence in his office to ask all the questions that had occupied his mind since he witnessed the unthinkable things he saw yesterday. Eventhugh so curious, he had waited until she started eating her lunch before he walked into the meeting room and sat at his usual seat, in front of her. The sandwich he grabbed as lunch, he didn't even think much of it as he focused on Jandi. Her wet shirt wasn't fully dry, she had decided to put it on and cover it with the cradigon she had on.
" So are we going to talk about what happened yesterday?" Jihoo asked, glancing up at her hands that lowered the water bottle she placed back on the table. Completely lost and worried about Junpyo and what she did yesterday might have caused her, she had forgotten about this one.
" You slapped Junpyo," Jihoo, leaning forward from across the table, whispered. The shock that was still on his face, Jandi was finally getting how momentous what she did was. The fact that he had to whisper it. His stunned eyes that were focused on her, waiting for a crazy explanation, she was getting an honest answer to how big of a deal what she had done was. If Jihoo was this stunned by it, oh God what has she done?
" You said he ordered them to attack me" She found an easy deflect as she sent her nervous hands to the orange she started peeling all of a sudden.
" he also burned my shoes and ordered them to begin all of this" she added, focusing her eyes on the orange she was peeling.
" Woobin started all this, not him"
" You're defending him now" her sharp eyes landed on him as Jihoo sat back. His back resting against the chair, he knew he had to be careful about what he was saying.
" He's your friend after all" she sent another shot hoping it would silence him. She caught the smirk that escaped his lips as he folded his arm.
" Is it really about the shoes and Friday night?" Jihoo asked, trying to poke. How quick her eyes looked back up at him, Jihoo's intuition was commanding him to start being suspicious.
" No I just enjoy being unconscious lying almost naked on a gym floor, surrounded by 4 boys that hate me" she knew what she was doing as was trying to use guilt to silence him from finishing anything. She was really good at what she does and always stayed in control of any uncomfortable conversation.
" He apologized"
" That's not how it works."
" how does it work?" Jihoo , for the first time in a while, was pushing back. The all smiles and welcoming Jihoo she had come used to, she wasn't getting any of that today. The Jihoo that followed her out of the swimming pool and spent the rest of the lunch break with her. He had provided her the safe space then. No questions asked and all with a smile she had enjoyed lunch and went on with their work giving her the day. Today, the Jihoo sitting in front of her needed answers.
" Are you really defending him?" she asked, pausing her fingers digging into the skin of the poor orange in her hands.
" He is my friend" Jihoo took in her small smile in silence.
" Why are you friends with assholes?" the orange placed on the napkin she had next to her water bottle. She sent her scary eyes to Jihoo.
" Is Junpyo the asshole?" Jihoo asked, proving to her how he wasn't even remotely intimidated by her scary eyes. He actually liked seeing any hint of emotion, even if it's anger on her face.
" If he was an asshole before, do you know what he's going to do now that you have slapped him?" Jihoo asked. If he hadn't been able to get an answer from his best friend. The girl he was trying to proctor had made it harder to even defende after what happened yesterday.
" the whole school knows about it" he was giving her a hint of where his concern was. It was all about the magnitude of what she has done and all the drama it will create that will harm her.
" What is he going to do?" she asked, hiding her nervous hands and trying to see if Jihoo knows anything.
" I don't know. Nobody has hit him before so i don't "
" Wait?" she interrupted him
" Yeah" he responded to her questioning eyes.
" I don't think anybody has hit him before , let alone slap him" Jihoo wasn't sure how to take in her blank reaction that was followed by a tiny smile . No matter what , she can't help but be happy that she was the first one to ever have slapped him.
" Are you happy about that?" Jihoo asked, unable to hide his smile which was a direct reaction to the hint of happiness she displayed for a second.
" You have guts, I will give you that " he sent another smile and in turn his smiling face was having an impact on hers. The small smile on her face, she really was happy about what she did.
" You probably left him traumatized" his words she laughed at would later be used as an excuse as to why Junpyo hadn't done anything to her yet. Maybe he was too stunned and traumatized to even accept it.
" He deserved it" , hiding her smile behind the piece of chicken the fork she held brought to her lips, she added, waiting to see if Jihoo would agree.
" huh" Jihoo chose not to say anything.
" Was it that shocking?" She asked.
" YES. yes it was"
" Seriously he has never been hit before"
" Like not even by his mother" Jihoo went on explaining as the two couldn't even help but start smiling and laughing at what she had done. Jihoo mimicking her slaps, they went on enjoying their lunch. Minutes spent on just taking in how shocking what she had done and the history she had changed.
" It was shocking but not more than seeing him hit the idiots" Jihoo halfway done with his sandwich as always was honest with his emotions.
" What do you mean?" Jandi who hadn't spent even a second thinking about the way Junpyo had punched and kicked the leader of the minions asked.
" Junpyo doesn't fight people"
" at least not since elementary school"
" like he gets into fights but never raises his hands to hit people"
" Why is that?" sending her eyes to the orange piece she started separating , she asked.
" because it's so beneath him?" the smirk on her face was whipped away as quick Jihoo's words reached her ears.
" he's too drugged out to react" Jihoo raising his eyes to her shared something he wasn't sure he should have had. His best friend she will never get to even have a conversation with, Jihoo had assumed it wasn't that bad to share it with the girl that probably will graduate and go on about her life without ever having a single conversation with the person he was talking about. That was what he thought.
" he's been on serious medication since we were kids to control his anger and stuff"
" I don't know why I am even telling you this." Jihoo taking a sip of his water was finally recognizing how he was breaking a friend code. The emotionless face of the girl that had stopped even moving as she took in what he was saying was all he needed to know the weight of the private information he was sharing so casually.
" Let's just say he doesn't react to things,"
" That's why I was shocked when I saw him kick" he added while he calmed himself down by reasoning that there would be no way what he shared with her would reach his best friend that might not be happy about Jihoo talking about his issues behind his back.
" Maybe thats what am more shocked about and not what you did"
" Hu" Jandi just sighed, taking it all in and giving him some silence and quiet time to reflect on the realization he just had.
" I mean seeing you with that laptop and then daring to slap Junpyo was life changing" the silence he broke they started with a happy note as both started smiling.
'You are dangerous' Jihoo knew nothing about what he was talking about.
" They deserved it"
" Well Junpyo apologized but i guess you're justified since he did so much"
" You like him too much" her words forced Jihoo to start laughing
"He's my friend, more like I love him too much"
" He's lucky to be your friend" the words she was not filtering thanks to his smiling eyes and laughs that had made her too comfortable to just talk, she was sent the first warning to be careful.
" You are too, since we're friends" Jihoo knew he needed to thread very lightly as he waited for any reaction. He had used the perfect opportunity to ask a very serious question.
" We are not friends"
" I just work for you" she corrected him, which unannounced to him was for his own good.
" so what do I have to do to be considered a friend"
" I don't do friends" she knew she had to shut it down once and for all.
" why not?"
" why do you want to be friends with me"
" I would love to have a friend who can use a laptop to beat somebody" both started laughing as they remembered what she had done.
"And we are friends"
" We eat together. We spend enough time together. I help you, and you help me" he went on listing as Jandi sitting back just went on enjoying the list he was creating. He was too sweet, she smiled, and that was when the flags that were being waved in front of her were ignored. The fact that it was so easy for Jihoo to make her smile. To create a safe and calm space where she could let her guard down and show a human emotion, a positive human emotion like smiling. Jihoo had come a long way in just weeks as she was even considering his efforts as sweet. He was the kindest and sweetest of them all, but for Jandi to think of him in that way, even for a fraction of a moment, was alarming for the girl who can't afford to have friends. Especially a friend like the handsome and wealthy boy smiling at her, knowing damn well he wasn't also allowed to have friends like her.
" How am I not your friend, come on"
" I say we are friends" he finished his rant and returned to the tiny portion of his sandwich that was left. As he focused on his food, Jandi was in a foreign land his smiles had transported her to where she was lost, wondering what being a friend really meant. What does being friends with Jihoo mean? What do friends do? Are they really doing friend things already? If they were, would he be considered her first ever friend?
" Does that mean you won't let your other friends attack me?" she asked
" Well, if we are friends, I could tell them not to bother my friend" Jihoo, sitting back sent another smile. He was going to use every poorly presented to him.
" If you just work here, then I don't think they will care" his friends had already warned them not to bother her, Jihoo was just doing this to get her to admit what they were was more than just her being his assistant.
" And you think he will listen to you."
" Who ? Junpyo?"
" Junpyo is my best friend, he will stay away from you if I ask him. '' Jihoo hadn't thought much about why what he said was how he convinced her to agree.
"Does that mean we are friends now?" he asked eagerly, waiting for a response. Jandi, who started collecting her stuff, didn't respond. She was calculating everything including what Junpyo had asked her. She needed some minutes and she got that as they cleaned after themselves and headed to their desks. Jihoo following her behind, was reading his text as he started walking as the door she held open. His eyes from his phone lifted up to the girl that was standing in front of hi,m blocking the step he was going to take.
" Okay" was all she said before she turned around and headed to her desk. The smile that took over his face, Jihoo excitement filled eyes couldn't help but follow her every step away from him. How more adorable is she going to get?
The friendship he had asked for, even Jihoo, who had all the people skills didn't know what to make of their friendship they just agreed to build. Locked in his office he couldn't help but smile every time he thinks about it. From their lunch break to the 3-afternoon classes he had, Jihoo had a great day as he couldn't wait until class was dismissed and he got to challenge what she accepted so easily. The council office he ran into after the last class was let out, he found her at the corner, shredding all the student registration information she had been tasked to print but wasn't useful anymore. Half an hour spent in a meeting, all were dismissed and headed home, leaving the two that always were the last by themselves. Following their tradition, Jihoo had walked her to her class and waited by the door while she headed to her desk and locker and collected all her stuff. Her backpack was stuffed with all her stuff, she only had the book she was planning to read in the bus at hand as they started walking down the hallway to the elevator.
" So the fundraising thing on Sunday, You're coming right"
" Do I have a choice?" she was the one that pressed down. Jihoo waited until she got on before following her steps. Being a gentleman was part of who he was, and never had he failed at treating her as he treated the women in his family, who he had the utmost respect for. He was trained to do so.
" well consider it work."
" it is for a good cause."
" Is it?" she asked as they started their argument about the event scheduled for Sunday afternoon she was being forced to attend with him. The elevator ride, walking the long hallway to the main door, and even their walk across the driveway was spent arguing about it.
"Rich people always find the best excuse to justify their insane wealth using donations"
"Why do you hate rich people so much?' Jihoo, who had brought his car to the main driveway when he went out to the bathroom, pulled out his key.
" I don't hate rich people, and you are not rich."
"Again, you are wealthy," she corrected as she chose to stand a few steps away from his car he pressed his key and opened it. He has a nice car.
" I wasn't talking about me , I was saying in general."
"You hate rich people, don't you?" leaning against his car, he asked. This was his favorite moment of the day; when he gets to just talk to her about the most random stuff at the end of his day.
" I mean you have the right to; it's a free country."
" Is it?" she asked in a whisper which he clearly heard. With every layer of her identity he unravel, Jihoo is left stunned at her views and thoughts he gets hints of here and there. He knew she was smart. She was beyond smart, but the intelligence that came from being so informed about the political, economic, and social state of the country, which he only got hints of here and there, was the one that left him stunned. On the other side of the spectrum, real-life experience had been the one to inform her view just like his. But the difference was, while he read about the state of the world, she had experienced the worst aspect of it and was living through it.
" Also, if I am wealthy, what is Junpyo?" knowing they have a common target they could enjoy talking and smiling about, he threw his friend as bait. With the confused look on Jandi, Jihoo was enjoying how she didn't have an answer to his question.
" Can we not talk about the jerk, please"
" You must hate wearing that uniform, considering how much you hate him"
" I am going to burn it when I am done," Jandi's words Jihoo believed as they both started smiling, knowing well what she said was an honest response to his question. Her tendency for violence Jihoo was getting a tiny test of, he was intrigued just thinking about her lighting her school uniform on fire just because she hated the name sewn on it.
" So it must have felt good to have slapped him"
" I could only imagine what it feels like to slap somebody like Junpyo" Jihoo was being very careful and strategic with his questions he was using to get to an honest answer.
" I am sure it did something for him to burn my stuff and have me be bullied," she asked, crossing her arms and proving to Jihoo, once again, that she wasn't one to easily be played by his games.
" do you think it was just to feed his ego or just enjoy causing pain" she added
" You have to ask him that, but I don't think he would have apologized if it was about ego"
" He would have done everything else but apologize if it was about ego, don't you think?"
" I don't know. I don't spend time thinking about him"
" well, you have to to hate him this much" he knew he got her with that one as her startled eyes just zoomed in on him.
" I don't " She silenced her words as she noticed Jihoo eagerly waiting for her answer.
" Why are we talking about him?"
"because he was an easy example of the type of wealthy people you were talking about and not me"
" It's funny, all the things you do to differentiate yourself from them while you are being raised to be the most powerful man in the country"
" I am not" he chose not to go further and get himself in more trouble. Also, she was right. She was right most times which makes it a bit annoying to be her friend.
" Do you think we will still be friends if I ever become president?" The air quoted the word president and his hands didn't even go down as he was blessed to witness the first full smile and even laugh out of the girl.
" why is that funny?" Jihoo wasn't even sure if he asked the right question as he just studio back and started taking mental pciture of her lips she covered with her right hand as she tried hard to stop herself from laughing.
" You really live in your own world," between her smiles, she added as she turned her face around to hide her small laugh.
" Why?" Jihoo, leaning left, was trying hard to see her laugh as she was trying to hide. She was too adorable when she turned all shy and hid away.
"Why?" his questions she ignored as she turned back; hiding her mouth with her right hand. His smiles and inviting eyes she was prepared for, Jandi quietly stood there trying to remove her smile and the joy his question had brought her.
Maybe it was hearing her small voice as she tried to hide her laughs, maybe it was seeing her shyly hide away her smiling face from him, Jihoo had just unlocked another dream of his he has to accomplish soon. Making her laugh. The hint of color on her cheeks, her smiling eyes, Jihoo was convinced she hides them away because she knows how instantly cute they turn her. His enchanted eyes he couldn't take away from her, Jihoo had leaned back against his car to get a good look at the girl staring back at him with her bewitching eyes that were smiling at him.
"I should go '' Jandi was the one to recognize the change in his gaze. Turning her eyes away and towards the long road she has to take to the gate, she repeated.
" I can drop you off at the station," Jihoo offered as he pulled his hands out of his pocket and started taking off his coat.
" Since we are friends now" he added as he threw his coat into the back seat window.
" I don't need
" That's what friends do" his puppy eyes his weapons he sent them her way.
" If you drove I wouldn't mind getting a lift" he added with a smile escaping his lips the moment he recognized she was thinking about it.
" It would save you time , you know" That was the convincing after. Jandi, who had a serious list of things she needed to do, could benefit from cutting her commute time short . Jihoo that was throwing things out to see what will stick was startled when he noticed her walking his way.
"Really" he asked. Unable to believe she was agreeing to this, Jihoo needed a second more before he opened the passenger seat and started throwing everything on the seat to the back seat.
"Sorry about the mess, " he apologized, holding the door open. The wide smiles on his face, he wasn't even trying to hide how happy he was about what was happening. His infectious happiness, even Jandi was trying not to react to his joy filled face. How could he be this happy because he was giving her a lift?
" You can adjust the seat if you want" as she slowly sat down and brought her backpack on her lap, Jihoo slowly closed the door. He really was the gentleman one, she recalled how Junpyo had told her that Jihoo was the one that opens doors. It was better to think about that than how happy Jihoo was and that she really was in his car, which smelled like him.
" Sorry for the mess" Jihoo getting into the driver seat apologized again.
" It's not messy" she corrected as she pulled her seat belt and clicked it on. Using that opportunity to make out all the documents scattered on the back seat. The coffee and energy bar on the cup holder.
" The end of the year is busy so a lot of things to do and plan" catching her eyes that scanned the back seat, he started explaining. Both their eyes landed on his phone that started ringing.
" I'll call him later" Jihoo , pressing to lower the ringing voice gave Jandi a smile. Returning his smile with a fake one, she returned her eyes to the photo that accompanied the caller ID. Junpyo's name at the top of the screen was ignored as she focused on the picture of the smiling boy who looked completely different than the one she knew. Although his hair wasn't as long as it is now, it made it easy to tell which one was Junpyo. His lips parted for a big smile, which was as new as the color on his face. A genuine smile that was a result of a moment of pure joy. It is one of those pictures where you could literally hear the voice of the person laughing while the photo was taken. His sparkling eyes, the white sweater he has on, Yijeong and Woobin fighting him weren't even noticed as her eyes zoomed on the one. He can't be the same person, her memory of the face she slapped, her eyes lifted to his dark eyes that often looked menacing but not in this picture.
The striking eyes who's smile she was questioning, she wasn't aware of how they were looking at her from his car that was parked under the 30-minute drop-off zone, next to the school bus. Neither her nor Jihoo had caught the car that was hidden behind the tree and the person in the driver's seat that had been witnessing every interaction of theirs since they walked out.
" Hey Junpyo are you guys on your way" Yijoeng asked as Junpyo pressed up on his phone that was ringing.
" Jihoo is not picking up" Junyp, who hadn't lifted his eyes from His best friend's car he saw Jandi get into, responded. His best friend not picking up his call wasn't even in the top three of his concerns. The smiles he saw the two exchange, Jihoo had been making her laugh while Junpyo had been sitting there, witnessing it all. Not only was she having full-on conversations with his friend, which he had asked to stay away from, but she was also laughing with Jihoo and was now in his car.
" He is probably with his girl. I don't think he's coming" Yijoeng who was trying to explain, wasn't being listened to by Junpyo, who started his car as he saw Jihoo start driving. His tight grip on the steering wheel and his feet he placed by the gas pedal he can't wait to step on.
" So it's just me and you. I will text you. Party starts at 11" Yijeong went on while Junpyo waited for the car he couldn't lift his eye away from, increasing the distance between them. Once Jihoo car was enough distance away from his, Junpyo stepped on the gas chosing to drive to the other gate on the east entrance of the school and head home. He needs to get away from this palace. His condo 15 minutes away was the goal as he stepped on the gas. The shortcut he always takes, the drive through the thick trees, was claiming but not enough for him to forget about what he saw minutes ago.
Not the fast drive nor the cold shower he took were able to take his mind away from the smiles he saw. His medication he could use to silence it all; he took just one which he swallowed with the cold water from the kitchen faucet. The empty fridge that didn't have anything but ice, his hunger was silenced with the pill he took as he ordered the window and curtain of his bedroom to be shut and he buried himself in bed. The bed he planned to use as an escape from the one he doesn't want to think about, the moment he slid into it he was reminded of her body that was lying on it days ago. The new bedsheet, pillows, and bedding...were useless as he was fighting his mind to stop thinking about her. Her hand that had slapped him, her cursing voice, the kicks she landed on his chest, her peaceful lying in his bed, all were nothing to the smiles she was sending his friend. His hair brushed to cover his face, he switched his position left and right. The blanket lifted up to cover his face, was lifted down when he felt suffocated. Junyp scratched his head begging it to shut down and give him some hours of peace. Lucky for him, his request was answered in minutes as the medication spread through his body shutting it down.
The 5 hours of deep sleep he got. Junpyo took a cold shower and was out the house heading to the club Yijeong had texted him. His day-to-day car changed to a different one, Junpyo had ordered his driver to be on standby in case he drank himself unconscious, which he was planning on doing. The undisclosed and private club he was driving to was a good hour away from his side of town. The sandwich he picked from one of his favorite cafes by his house, was his dinner. With the sandwich and juice, along with the quiet drive on the bridge, Junpyo was enjoying his long drive and the fresh air brushing against his skin thanks to the window he left open. His hair tied back, he didn't have to do much to dress fittingly for the club they were invited to. The black shirt and jeans he had on were perfect, along with the custom leather jacket he had thrown on the passenger seat. The accessories he had on were always the icing on the cake of the simple outfits he wore. It never mattered what he wore anyway. He didn't have to do much to get girls crawling at his feet. The playboy of the group, Yijeong and the fuck boy of the group, Junpyo, the two were a perfect duo any club would like to have. The amount of money about to spent on bottles alone was going to be insane tonight.
Junpyo, planning to get wasted until he can't think anymore, wasn't surprised by the warm welcome he got when he pulled into what looked like a storage building. The two armed men that greeted him knew exactly who he was as they ordered him to follow the golf car in front that will lead him to the VIP parking spot designated for him. Everybody else who was beings searched head to toe, even his car wasn't searched for anything as he was let in.
" Welcome sir" The man on the golf cart had waited until Junpyo got out and locked his car to greet him and offer to take him to the entrance. One look at the place and Junpyo remembered he had been there a couple of times. The small drive to the entrance, Junpyo handed the man some hundred bills, whatever he had in his pocket, as he walked past the door. Welcome, the two security guards by the door gave him a small bow as they directed him to walk through the metal gates and head into the entrance.
"It's okay," the security guard responded to the loud noise of the machine and Junpyo who turned around.
" You're clear to go," the man added, leading Junpyo to the double door down the hallway. The dark hallway was setting the right mood to what was past the soundproofed underground club's double metal door. Welcome, Junpyo was greeted by the man that opened the door for him.
" Regular table," the man leaning closer to Junpyo whispered, letting him know what table Yijeong had reserved. The flickering lights of the club, the rich smell of the perfumes, alcohol, and cigarettes, and the base of the music streaming from the speakers, Junpyo ignored all as he started passing through the crowd of people dancing. Neither the skimpily dressed girl dancing to the slow movement of the men behind them nor the ones making out, Junpyo hadn't even looked up at anyone once as he continued his steps to the table at the corner. He needed to get some alcohol in his system quickly, and that was the first order of business as he took his jacket and sat down. The node was the only thing he extended to the friend Jihoo introduced him to. The five girls across the table, the one who had offered to pour him the drink while Junpyo lit up his cigarette. That was the starter of it all as the conversation around the table turned to creating the weirdest mix of drinks, and the waiter delivered the bottle he was ordered to bring as the girls started making the drinks.
By the time the clock passed midnight, Yijoeng and everybody else had left for the dancefloor that had turned even darker. Junpyo and the girl that had been pouring his drinks were left alone on the table by the corner, perfectly designed to be hidden.
" I hear oppa has tattoos" her right hand which had been tracing his chest, shifted to his arm. His body she was allowed to discover, she was taking every advantage as her fingers landed on his biceps which she trailed all the way to his shoulders.
" did you?" His eyes from his drink landed on her well-moisturized and enticing leg she placed on his lap. The slit of her dress ending right at hips, it had left all of her right leg resting on his lap, fully visible.
" I want to see" her sparkling eyes she returned to him, Junpyo could thank the dark room and the flickering light that had made her shiny eyeshadow even more prominent as they forced him to focus on her beautiful eyes. Her face inches away from his, even when intoxicated, he could make out the distinct smell of her perfume that was mixed in with the Champaign Yijeong had spilled on the table. Her sensual body was only covered by the thin soft silk dress she had, she placed it ever so close to his side as she gave him a soft smile.
" I love tattoos," She whispered, raising her lips to his ears. The dark red color of her lipstick he got a glimpse of when the light flickered, Junpyo bit his lower lip as he focused his attention on her body she moved closer while she sent her hand to his hair. Half her body rested on his side, Junpyo placed his arm behind her to support her. He was enjoying the alluring curve of her body held against his which he could easily make out, but not more than her fingers sunk into his hair and gently massaging his head. It's like she already knew his weak points.
" Do you have any?" he asked, allowing her to do what she wanted as her right hand slowly dug into his hair and started pulling some out of the hairtie. Her soft lips landed a kiss on his ear as she answered his question with a whisper.
" I have one" Her voice was beyond seductive as it sent the tiny electric shock that started at his ear, down his back. His hair she was slowly playing with, the slow whisper of her sweet voice, Junpyo was focused on those until her left hand grabbed his arm behind her back and started directing it to her bare back the dress wasn't covering.
'Here' she whispered as she placed his cold hand on her warm skin, right at the end of her spine. Her alluring fingers were careful as they helped him trace the design of the tattoo on her back. The flickering red light of the club had a goal of its own as it hit her body resting on his. Moving her head away from his ear, she brought her tempting eyes to his. her eyes had a request of their own as she forced him his left hand touching her warm skin to make out the shape of her back.
"Can I see yours?" she asked as she left his hand on her back and sent both hands to his shirt. His black shirt tucked into his pants in the front, her fingers slowly traced the belt loop he never uses. Her eyes didn't even leave him for a second as she used his silence as an answer and her fingers slowly snuck under his shirt.
" How many should I look for?" she asked as she bit her lower lip. Her fingers enjoying their slow trace across his muscles, it was easy to tell she was excited by the well-toned muscles she had found under his shirt.
" How many do you want?" leaning her way Junpyo, whispered. His raspy voice which was known to be deadly when this low, had done its trick as her eyes landed on his lips she followed as he sat back against the comfortable couch.
" this might help" his left hand still on her back pushed her lightly. She followed his push with no hesitation and landed on his lap. Thanking the dark room and the private space, she moved her right leg to the other side as she sat on his lap. Her dress lifted up, the flickering light was perfectly showcasing her shining legs now sitting by his sides as she adjusted herself to sit comfortably. The girl was on a different planet as she took in the view of the man she was sitting on. Nobody needs a reminder of how good this man looked but what he was doing to her needed to be outlawed as his lewd eyes traced her body while he bit his lower lip.
" Oppa stop" she whispered as she gently landed her body on his, her head resting on his shoulder. Every curve of her body he could feel against his, he let his left hand on her back adjust her to sit comfortably.
" Stop what?" he asked, turning his eyes to her face buried on his shoulder. The erotic movement of her body he was causing, his left hand didn't stop tracing the spine line down her back. His firm hand tracing down her soft skin, both were enjoying the little movement she was making to follow his hand. Her face slowly turned his way, Junpyo waited for her eyes that instantly lost to his dark ones that were commanding her to lose whatever control she had and give in. The smirk that escaped his lips, everything he did was more tantalizing than the one before as she was fighting not to be the one to give in. She had thought she had any power to but no. Whatever energy she had was gone when his left hand slipped through her dress, pulling her closer to his chest she was exploring. Before he even did anything about the tiny moan that escaped her lips, she landed her lips on his. How quickly both her hands ended up behind his neck, Junpyp had no idea. The soft and flirtatious play they had been enjoying for minutes was gone as the kiss instantly turned aggressive. Her hands digging into his hair were as demanding as her body grinding against his as Junpyo let her take charge of their interlocked lips. The alcohol they had been chugging didn't seem like it had quenched any of the thirst that just took over the two. Their locked lips welcomed each other's tongues that were searching for some of the ecstasy they will get from their burning bodies that were aching to be unclothed. His hands on her back weren't as adventurous as hers that went down his chest and pulled his shirt up. Her energy Junpyo matched, her hands tracing the structure of his muscles were welcomed with no question. Their lips she parted slowly, she lowered her eyes to his chest.
" I see one" she whispered as her hand landed right underneath the shirt she had lifted up, on the tattoo by his right side.
" There's 8 more" leaning her way he whispered.
" Do I have to find them all?" returning her face to his, she leaned left and whispered in his ear.
" Maybe we can do a better inspection somewhere" Her well-kissed, full lips landed on his ear. That added to her hand that dug into his hair, Junpyo closed his eyes as he tried to find any reason why he should say no to whatever she asks.
" somewhere private" her kisses traced down from his ear down to his neck.
" Should we?" his intoxicated mind was being even more diluted by the sensuous kiss she was placing across his neck.
"Uhhhh" was her only response as she continued her kisses. As her lips returned to his ear, Junpyo opened his eyes to land on the view that would sober him up quickly.
His head turned up, his eye landed on the VIP section on the first floor above. Ignoring the suited men with their backs towards the balcony, his eyes focused on the girl sitting by one of the old men. The black dress she had on, her hands around the old man that was laughing, both were ignored as Junpyo focused on her face that had turned to the table he was at. Her sharp eyes even from the balcony above had zoomed on Junpyo and the girl he was making out with for the last few minutes. Her head turned to the table by the corner of the nightclub floor, even through the dark room, it didn't take her much to figure out who he was. The black makeup of her eyes focused on him, while her carefully lined red lips started laughing at whatever the man she was holding onto said, her attention that was solely focused on him seemed intentional. She wanted him to know she saw him. Better yet, she didn't move her terrifying eyes from her target as she gave Junpyo enough time to recognize her. She wanted him to know she was watching him. Their eyes that had a language of their own, the message she wanted to send was clear. The flickering light of the dark club was adding to the sensation that took over as it even drowned out the music blasting in the space. Even his body wasn't able to feel the warm body crawling against his skin as the girl on his lap continues with her kisses he wouldn't remember. Having accomplished their goal, Jandi's smiling lips and bewitching eyes slowly turned around to the man next to her but not before she witnessed the girl sitting on Junpyo's lap returning her lips to his, locking them for another round of kisses.
