I can't wait to get deeper into the backstory of our main characters. As you get to know them more and the story gets darker, bloodier & spicier, I wonder who you will ship with who. Again, thank you so much for reading.

Tuesday - No show.

Wednesday - No show

As she walked into the campus on Thursday, she hoped today would be the day. Today will be the day she will see the result of what she had in that hospital room. Since the moment she walked out of the hospital room, her curiosity had been eating her. The man she left behind, the last time she saw him, a hot soup was poured all over his back before a wooden ladle was repeatedly attacking his body that was forced to land on its knees. Since the moment she arrived home and sat for dinner, she has been curious about what else happened after she left. To see the result of what the lady did was her main point of inquiry when she came to school the next day but unfortunately, the person she wanted to see didn't come to school. He was a no-show the day after that too. Both mornings she had shown up to school with her first task being to check the F4 parking space to find none of the fancy cars parked there. Jihoo, who she tried to prob with odd questions, couldn't answer why his best friend wasn't coming to school.

"Huh" she sighed, heading to her class.

Her days at this school have really become just wasting time as Jandi entered her class. Why she was even still at this school was a bigger question. They haven't gained anything for all the time she wasted. She had gotten a world-class education but Jandi doesn't consider that to be a special reason to be proud about being at this place. If she weren't occupied with the small incident that had kept her mind busy, she would have been contemplating why she was even showing up to school anymore. But her mind was on something else. It has been since she started her work in the student council. The boys that have become the right type of distraction, everybody, that knew he had assumed she would be able to build a boundary before it slips into her life and becomes an issue, but most have forgotten how distractions don't start as clear distractions but from moments of curiosity. The girl who knew how to manage her emotions, all trusted her. The issue for most wasn't even the boys who they don't know she was doing all these things with but because they don't want her there. Bom and Mrs Kim had been the main two fighting back and forth before the group decision was made to keep her at the school and have her finish the school year. Mrs Kim had been the only one fighting to make sure Jandi not only got her high school certification from that school but also considered going to college as well. Bom hasn't been against the college part, it was Jandi herself.

" If you tell her she might consider it," Mrs Kim, leaning closer to Bom whispered. The lunch she had brought to their house, she had decided to stay and eat with them. They have been having discussions about the girl that has become busy with all the extra school activities she was doing, which Mrs Kim has used as an excuse to advocate for Jandi to finish the school year.

"If this whole thing doesn't work out. She needs a plan B" Bom eating his soup didn't respond but continued eating. He has heard this before. It has been a topic since she started grade 12 and they found nothing worthwhile at that school. The girl they all adorable beyond possible all of them had her best interests at heart but had different wishes for her life. Mrs Kim, who is convinced Jandi would be able to live a regular life if she shifts now, had no better wish than for the girl to have a regular life. For Ctrl Alt, who is aware how exceptional Jandi was, his goal for her was to be exceptionally good at what she does to a point she will make a career out of it and accomplish her goal to live in some forest. He knew enough to only wish for her to live out her dream. For the one that was her guardian angel, the one that raised her like his little sister, nobody actually knows what he wants for her. He never spoke about that. Just like everything else, that part of his wishes and emotions were locked in. They were similar in that way. Keeping all their emotions locked in some vault for nobody to see, not even the people they will die for. She learned it from him. It was one of the first skills he taught her. While she still had a long way to go, he had mastered it.

" She has done her part and deserves a life out of this you know" this one got his eyes to glance at Mrs kim for a second before it returned to his lunch. There was nobody else that believed she deserved more than what she was dealt with than him. In his eyes his prodigy deserved the world which was why he was eager to get her out of that school. She needs to be away from that school as much as possible, and away from the boys whose names he has been hearing about quite frequently in the last few months. Ctrl alt who acts like he doesn't know anything when questioned about the boys he argues with Jandi about or even the mere fact that one of them had dared to show up in this town, even Bom knew it was time to close the chapter at that school and remove her from the school and more importantly, the boys. The fact that they knew her by name, and one knew where she lived Ctrl Alt knew there was a chance that they might actually be late in removing her out of that school.

" What is the goal if you don't succeed?"

" Even if you do, she still needs to have a good life after" Mrs Kim went on while adding some of the delicious BBQ meat from her plate to his. She knew how to keep him listening.

" She needs a plan in case you aren't here to protect and provide" she knew this one would get a reaction and it did as he placed his spoon down and looked up. His lunch he hasn't been able to enjoy in peace , she has finally been able to get a reaction out of him. Ctrl Alt silently enjoying his dinner picked the remote of the Tv and lowered the news down. He needs to hear the discussion that seems to be turning serious. It has been a common talking point whenever Jandi wasn't present. But he knew that Bom didn't like thinking about possible scenarios where he wasn't there to protect Jandi. They knew he probably has a plan for when he won't be around but just didn't like the idea and talking about it.

" If she doesn't apply to college this year, it will be harder to get in"

" Think of it as a backup plan" she added, giving him her famous smile. He wasn't charmed by it. He needs the conversation to end quickly and get back to his work.

" She has the score to get into almost any college she wants," Ctrl Alt whispered. No matter how committed they were to their goal, Ctrl was team "she needs to go to college" too.

" Well she can't because most have closed applications season and have already started accepting students" Mrs Kim who has been keeping up with the dates for college application seasons and timeline was aware of the number of schools still left accepting applications.

" College might not be the best place for her for now" was the only thing Bom said before he shut down the topic and changed it to the files Jandi has gotten that Ctrl hasn't broken into yet. It was taking way longer than expected but he should have expected it to be longer since it has private information including financial information.

While the people she refers to as her family were talking about her around their lunch table, Jandi was seated in the back corners of the council office eating her lunch solo. Jihoo, in a meeting with the school staff, she was eating alone after a long time. How much she had grown used to eating with Jihoo, this was the first time she was forced to notice what it felt like to eat alone. It was an odd feeling but she couldn't tell which one it was. Eating alone or not eating with Jihoo. As with every other red flag, this one was placed in the back as she focused on the immediate issue that has occupied her mind. The orange she placed in her mouth, she enjoyed in silence as she started wondering why on earth Junpyo hasn't shown up at school for two days. Her momentary curiosity usually leads to minutes wondering about all possible outcomes. Her mind that always assumes the worst was now starting to come up with the worst possible scenarios. Thankfully she knew he wasn't dead. The carefully designed questions she had asked Jihoo, she knew his friend was just avoiding coming to school.

"He probably is bored. He said he needs to rest" Jihoo had siad while busily typing his email. Thankfully Jandi had wrapped the question with others so he wasn't suspicious about why she was asking about his friends. She knew he was alive and functioning at least. The mom couldn't have done something so drastic that he would be hospitalized or even dead. She knew it couldn't be that bad but she couldn't stop thinking about it and she only had her anxiety to thank for that.

The reason behind her worry wasn't given that much time to occupy her mind as she focused on if he had learned his lesson and won't bother her again. She doubted it but she had hoped for the best . And the best was to assume he had learned a tiny lesson about leaving her alone. She only needs to see his face to know if that had happened. Why she can tell with just the looks in his eyes wasn't something she thought much about. She just assumed it was because he was expressive and his eyes never had to showcase what he was feeling, at times.

" It's Thursday. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't show up the whole week" Jihoo had added, crushing her hope by letting her know the F4 were not bound by any school rule about how many days they can miss before they get warnings and punishment. There was none. They can miss as many days as they want. To be honest, it was even surprising how much they showed up to school considering they didn't have to. Having already been accepted to their prospective colleges , all of them didn't need to finish the rest of the school year for their transcripts to say graduated. It was already a done deal. So them showing up to school was a surprising fact and not the other way around.

"Huh" she sighed as she started wrapping up her lunch. She had come up with the right solution to ease her anxiety she can't place on a specific question. It was the whole scenario of what happened in that hospital room that had led her curiosity to start shifting to worry and hint of anxiety. Once her mind reminded her of all the ways Junpo could retaliate against her, she had decided to figure it out and not just sit and wait. She couldn't even wait until the end of the day to stop by the hospital. It had to be done now and she chose to make the call. It felt odd to call someone that is not part of the team on her phone but it had to be done. Her voice she had never been shy to use, it wasn't even her choice when she was assigned the term "mute" at school. Her classmates that never asked even a single question had just assumed it since she never said anything in the first weeks she was there. It was a title she didn't mind because it benefited her- she didn't have to talk to anybody. That was her favorite part of being at that school. That was until she had the misfortune of having to interact with the F4.

Her phone in hand, she had chosen to take the call in private as she walked into the empty conference room and dialed the phone of the boy which she found thanks to the access the council had to check student's general information. She wasn't even sure what she would get out of talking to him or what to even ask but something felt wrong and this was the first thing her mind came up with as a solution. Her six senses she never doubts, it always was exactly right when it warned her about something being wrong. It was a blessing she was given. She could sense when things were wrong and they were that most of the time. It has been about hours since she woke up from her happy dreams about what she did hours ago that her anxiety started lurking in the background of everything she was doing. Not knowing what happened in that room plus Junpyo being gone for two days, her sixth sense was poking at her anxiety which only gets regulated once she knows everything and has all the answers. That was how her mind works. In control at all times. Not knowing things wasn't something she can handle easily. It was part of her trauma and how she was dealing with it.

" Hey" she greeted me when the phone was picked up. Before the boy said anything, she picked on the background sounds. There seems to be some people talking in the back.

" Who is this?" It was the boy that picked up rather than his mom that usually did it because he was asleep.

" It's the girl from school" Jandi thought that was the best way to describe her and not give her name which he probably doesn't know. It was odd how he still didn't know her name. The couple of times she had stopped by, he was asleep and she was only caught by his mom before she ran away from the hospital she wasn't expected to be in. It wasn't something she should be doing. The poke at her heart, the boy covered in blood she carried across the hallway, she was extending him all the empathy she was trained to remove from herself. It was softening her.

" Oh it's you" is just his voice. It was just his voice Jandi focused on to get some clue about why it sounded odd. He doesn't seem happy or excited about the call. He actually sounded disappointed and a bit angry. That was one of her skills, reading people's emotions even when she can't see them. She had learned it quickly and thankfully the people in this city were beyond expressive that even just their voice was enough for her to figure out what they could be feeling.

" Is everything okay?' she asked as her fingers were sent to her lips which she starts paying with when she gets anxious at a situation she can't figure out.

" Well" the boy sighed and Jandi focused on some of the noises she could hear in the back. She assumed it was the mom but there was a lower tone.

" What happened?" Jandi asked, getting even more worried by each second the boy stayed silent.

" No that's not it , address it" She knew he was talking to somebody else as Jandi tried making out the voice of a man in the distance. It was two men. She easily guessed that it was two men.

" What's going on?" she asked twice before the boy turned his attention to his phone.

" Well he sent some men in suits and they are asking all kinds of questions about our house and mom's shop" the boy gave her the answer to why her anxiety has been bothering her to check on what she has done.

" Mom thinks he's going to sue us and take everything"
" they are asking questions and documents"

" What? What type of documents"

" I gotta go"

" they want me to fill out the thing"

" no don't fil" before she finished her sentence he hung up. Jandi's fingers were quick to dial again but the phone wasn't picked up. The three times she tried after that didn't work either. Instead she got a text that said "will call you later".Don't sign any documents was the all caps message she texted before she placed her phone on the conference table and sat down. She needed to sit down to take in what she just heard. This was why her anxiety has been bothering her to check on the mess she created.

"He's going to sue us' ' those words repeated again and again as she went over what happened on monday and couldn't find any way the mother could get away with this if it ever is presented to a judge. That is even if there is a judge that is not immediately going to rule for Junyo considering his best friend's family runs the court and supreme courts. Jandi didn't need to know about the court system or the law to know Junpyo's lawyer wouldn't even have to prepare to win this case. The hospital videos, that was the first thing she thought of when her mind shifted to evidence. Considering they were there collecting documents, she assumed they probably had gotten a copy of the hospital videos. Even if it's just the lobby, just the video of him walking into the room then out is strong evidence. That is when it clicked that she was there. Whatever video he had a copy of is going to implicate her. That was when her fingers were playing with her lips. Leaving her lips and focused on their own skin, her nails started to scratch mercilessly. The anxiety entered a new level when she recognized he now had her in clear video involved in a crime. Everything she has worked for, everything the whole team has worked for could disappear into thin air if that video ever makes it into the hands of the police let alone as court evidence.

She should have stopped when Bom said to stop.

She should have listened to her years of training to not compromise their bigger goal for momentary anger, which is what she has done. Her inability to control her anger at their childish games was why she was in this mess. Her natural state being blaming herself, Jandi was doing that from all directions. It was easy to blame herself for everything. She wasn't fond of herself to begin with which makes it that much easier to blame oneself for every mistake. Causing the people she had deemed to be protective of such harm, of course she would hate and blame herself for it. They never asked for her help and now she has brought them the main devil himself to attack them with no remorse.

The fact that she couldn't handle her anger and had to retaliate against them.

The fact that they could lose everything because she had to teach the spoiled brat a lesson.

And the one she couldn't shake off - that she has just ruined the boy and his family's lives . The people used had claimed she was doing the revenge for, she was the one the one to ruin their whole lives with what she has done. The boy that was a week away from being discharged. Now the family has to deal with lawyers that were the family life worth in just their watches. She had forced them to go head to head with Junpyo, the jerk that she was aware will go until the end of the earth to enjoy the power that was handed to him. He did it to those that didn't even bother him let alone like this.

Her legs kicking the chair back into the table she started her march out of the office. She knew where she was headed , what she didn't know was why. She knew he wasn't here, what was the use of going to the F4 lounge. There was no use but she had quickened and her steps up the stairs to the 3rd floor lounge. The door that was never locked, she opened slightly and quietly walked into the quiet space. Her feet reading her to the sofa set, there was so sign of anybody. Leaning to all the adjacent rooms she checked every room to find nobody. Woobin in the hospital, Jihoo in a meeting , and the other two not in school of course there would be nobody. She didn't know why she had walked to the balcony and placed her arms against it as she sent her eyes down to the cafeteria. Her eyes slowly were raised to the wall to wall window of the cafeteria that broadcasted the garden. This is where he stands, glaring at her in silence. Jandi recalled all the times she had caught Junpyo standing there just staring down at her. Like it was his ivory tower , looking down at peasants. That was what started it all and where it should have ended. She should have avoided them all and kept her silence. She should have just taken in everything until they were bored and left her alone. That was the best way to avoid the mess she has now created which needs to be solved ASAP.

" That is where he stands" she heard a voice and instantly turned around. With the tiny hint of guilt of being caught on her face which disappeared thanks to her anxiety that was the main emotion she was dealing with, she sent her startled eyes to the door and the person walking in.

" He is not here today" Yijeong added as he caught her hand she sent to her back.

" Junpyo right?' he asked as he continued with his walk. The juice in his hands, she recognized the school logo. That means he ate lunch here, was he here? That was what she was wondering about and not that he had easily guessed who she was looking for and was thinking about.

" I'll leave" she whispered as she gave him a small bow and started heading to the door.

" Did you really slap him?" Yijeong, changing his direction to the sofa set, from the balcony , asked. Jandi stopped her walk and turned around. What she needs to figure out is how much he knows and what she can get out of him. There was only one way to get a hold of Junpyo and that was when he decided to show up to school. She doesn't have any other options and her only sources of information were his friends.

" Is it because of the shoes thing?" Yijeong sitting down asked.

" Where is he?" she asked, avoiding his question. She has serious business to be worried about and not waste time on worrying about what this one knows.

" Do you want to see him?" Yijeong, sending her a smile behind the cup he brought to his lips asked. She had seen the smile and knew what was hidden behind it. Some seconds is all she needed to know Yijeong meant trouble. Everything he was not saying, including his smile, was a huge red flag. He was trouble wrapped in a pretty face. She didn't need to know him well to know that. All of them were trouble and have only added more chaos to her life.

" I will call and tell him to"

" No don't" with her hand returning to her side, she interrupted him. Her reaction was just adding more to the fire. As asked, Yiejong returned his hands from his pocket he had directed them to, back to his drink. He can't read her. To Yijeong that is what made her more interesting; the fact that he can't read her. It was his special talent. Being able to read and decipher women but this one seems to be a bit challenging to figure out. He can't decipher her looks or her intention and that was fascinating on its own. The fact that she had somehow gotten the attention of two of his friends, even that was fascinating on its own. He didn't need anything else other than that to find her interesting.

" Are you really an escort?" he took a sip of his juice and asked , yet another question he wasn't sure if she would answer.

"Yes," she whispered . This one looked like just the idea of this would repulse him from doing anything to her. She already had rough things to deal with three of the 4 boys. The last thing she needs is him to join and make her a target of all four.

" I see" Yijeong was surprised to see she didn't even have a hint of guilt or shame about what she just confused. But then again, if you are selling your body to make money, pride isn't going to be that high up on your list of things to live by. She didn't say anything else as she just walked out of the space.

While her mind was busy trying to come up with any way she could get a hold of Junpyo, the teachings were changing one after the other, filling the whole afternoon with lectures. Sitting in the back she had wasted over 4 hours trying to come up with any scenario where she could get away from all of this mess if Junpyo sued. There was no way. There was no possible way she could get away from running everything if she ever had to step in front of a judge or even be booked at a police station. There was no way out of this one. She can't beat it out of him either, that was the first thing that crossed her mind. Maybe even killing him but that wouldn't solve anything and would just make her suspect number one and the downfall of everybody in her team that has dedicated their lives for a goal she ruined because she couldn't handle some bullying. There was no way she could let him sue.

It wasn't even about her. There was no way she would let him sue the family that had nothing to even pay a lawyer to represent them for a single day let alone go against a team of lawyers that will make sure they see the inside of jail after they rip them out of every penny that is associated with their name.

The conclusion as the last bell rang was to find she will do when she finds him , she wasn't sure but wasted some time as she stayed in the council office after school, completing her tasks. Her mind focused on what she was typing, it hadn't even crossed her mind that the two council members that walked in were talking about Junpyo as they sat at their desks by her side.

" I like he just comes and goes whenever he wants"

" Well he owns the school" the two whispered, Jandi looked up from her computer her brian needed a second before she stood up and headed out the door. Only her phone in hand, she ran out of the room and headed to the elevator. Jihoo, in his office, has seen her as she ran out the room. He had so many things to focus on to worry about where she was headed. Her anxious fingers pressing down, it didn;t take long before the elevator landed her in the main lobby of their building. Her eyes didn't waste even a minute before they located the person they were looking for.

The tall figure covered by the all black outfit, with just one glance Jandi knew it was him. Her legs, ordered to be quicker, started running down the stairs. His car he was headed to, she knew she had only a few seconds to catch up to him before he left and disappeared. Her mind focused on catching up, she hadn't even thought about what she was going to say or do as she swung open the door and ran out.

" Hey" she shouted as she continued her run. Only a short distance away from his car, Junpyo just turned his eyes back. His shade-covered eyes, didn't waste that much time as they turned back to his car and he continued with his steps. This was the first time he had ever ignored her. Usually, he was the one starting the conversation and looking for her.

" Hey" she called out again as she slowed down her legs from running to walking steps. He didn't even turn his eyes her way this time. He just continued his walk.

" Are you suing them?" she asked as she stood a step away from the boy that stopped got his attention with this one. She hadn't heard it but she had seen his shoulder go down to know he had just sighed. The black hoodie covering his head , she couldn't get any view of his face which he kept facing in his car.

" Are you really going to?" when she saw him start walking, she had taken the step that separated them and asked again. She took the steps to end up standing right behind him as she could even make out the small mark on the shoulder of the jacket he had on. She had thought it was black but it was a dark green jacket that topped his hoodie.

" Now you want to talk to me? '' he whispered as he slowly turned around. The hoodie covering his head wasn't the issue but his hair that was masking his face and his eyes already hidden behind the black shades. He looked dark and not just because of the colors he was wearing. The energy he was giving off was dark. His hair he uses to hide his face, she had come to recognize why he added hoodies on top of that. It was just another masking tool he uses to hide his face away from people. She rarely had seen them all together. It was one or the other. Today, he had all three. His messy hair, his hoodie and his glasses. All were used to hide away. From what she didn't know and didn't care. She was even mad that she was forced to recognize that he was using them to hide. Even angrier when she realized she was curious. For a split second, she was curious about what he looks like when he doesn't have any of these things to hide behind. The fact that he still looked as handsome when covered up was ignored as she focused on the energy coming from him. Not just dark; he seemed a bit angry. She wasn't sure about the darkness but if she had to rely on her great observation skills that enable her to pick on people's emotions, she would bet he was angry. Why wouldn't he be? She had been the one to lead him to the hospital room. His body she remembers being covered with hot soup and attacked by the table and ladle, she could thank the layer of cloth he was wearing for hiding any scars away from view.

" What are you going to do? "She asked, her eyes focused on his hiding behind the dark glasses. Her anxiety which needed clear answers before she went down the rabbit hole of self-blame and harm, wasn't getting any relief as she can't even look into his eyes and get her answer. She knew there was no way she would let him sue that family, not just for their sake but for hers. That was not even an option. It wasn't an option she could even consider, and she would do anything. She will do anything and everything to prevent that from happening.

" Why do you care?" had been his only response as he turned around and tried to take the step to walk around the back of his car and head to the driver's side.

" Are you ?" she asked, her eyes still focused on Junpyo whose startled body had turned around the moment his all awareness was sent to the arm she grabbed. His eyes turning back had landed on her right hand holding his right arm. Is this really happening? his eyes stayed longer on her fingers wrapped around his arm. Was she really touching him? That girl that looks disgusted to even be in the same space as him was touching him. The grip of her hand wasn't tight enough but he had felt the pressure against his arm. The energy had slowly spread to his whole arm as he recognized not only had she grabbed him but had pulled him from moving away. Jandi, recognizing his eyes on her hand, slowly let go of his arm and brought her hand to her side.

" Sorry, no tou" she didn't finish her sentence as she saw his soft smirk.

" Suing them is not going to do anything for '' she swallowed the last syllable as he took the step separating them and stood inches away from her. "Huh" she inhaled as her head leaned back, to avoid his face that broke into her personal space. Her eyes rose up, didn't have a choice not to stare at his face was available for closer inspection. As always, she was forced to take in his amazing smell before anything else. His tall figure she was used to, but it still feels odd when he was closer and she was forced to recognize how tall he was. Not just tall but overpowering. She used that as the reason why her anxiety was triggered the moment she recognized the tiny distance between their bodies. Her hands were where all her anxiety was sent as she ordered her body to shut down and face him.

" I am the one who took you there." forcing herself to not back away, she sent her nervous hands to her back as she kept her eyes on him. She needs to stand her ground. No matter how bothered by his proximity, she needs to stand her ground.

" Did you get what you wanted?" leaning closer, he whispered. It was easy to assume he knew what he was doing, but he didn't. His voice lowered along with his face, which he brought closer to hers, Junpyo wasn't playing any of the games she had thought he was. As always it was easy to assume he was being mischievous and had evil plans behind it all. The energy that had slowly started shifting, the moment his voice lowered, had turned into an odd tension. His hands in his pocket, Junpyo took advantage of his shades as she scanned all corners of her face and her body language. She seems nervous. Her wandering eyes she couldn't decide where to place, Junpyo was observing her nervousness reach an adorable stage as it was becoming a bit obvious on her face. He knew she wasn't scared of him. She wasn't scared. She hated him, but she wasn't scared of him. He knew that much. She was just nervous because now he has something serious to hold against her.

" You won't gain anything from suing them. ''She responded that her eyes were fighting not to lose their focus on him. She needs to stay on topic. What she got or felt wasn't relevant. All she needs to do is get the family and, if possible, herself out of this mess.

" I thought it was about revenge" he let out a small smirk and turned around. She needs to think quickly.

" It's me you want right?' taking a step towards him she asked. Junpyo, tuning only his eye her way, kept walking to the driver's side of his car.

" I am here, so leave them alone," she added, finishing her last steps and standing by the car. Junpyo, on the other side of the car, didn't stop his walk as he opened the driver's door. He didn't seem like he was listening to her, let alone considering her offer as he got into the car.

" Junpyo '' she called his name finnlay getting all his attention as his whole body was paralyzed the moment her soft voice called out his name. His right hand on the door handle, Junpyo needed to take the moment in before he sent his startled eyes her way. She just said his name. Called him by his name. One look and he knew she was aware of the gravity of what she did. She looks bothered by having to call him by his name too. Both looked bothered by what just happened but for completely different reasons. Her moving fingers, it was her nervous fingers that can't hide their angst that caught his attention. They were the only thing moving on the girl standing still as though she was commanded to. It was her finger and her slowly flying hair that was moving. Her dark hair had brought his eyes back up to her face. Her nervous eyes stared at him, Junpyo knew he lost the moment she said his name.

" huh" he sighed as he opened the door and entered. Jandi eyes on him, she knew it was a losing game to ask him to do anything. But she had so much to lose. She had caused so much trouble that nothing else was crossing her mind. She will do anything to get him to stop from going anywhere close to a court. There was no question about it. No matter how much she hated him and hated losing to him even more. She had no option but to do what he asked.

" I" the offer she was going to propose, was silenced as she heard the passenger door by her side click open. Her eyes from the door darted to Jun Pyo putting on his seat belt. Per usual, what was happening was unsaid, as she knew what he was asking her to do. Her right hand was quick as it opened the door and she got in. The only thing in her hand being her phone, she patted her right thigh to make sure the knife was there. That was all she needed but she knew it wouldn't be used. This boy hasn't done anything to her that would warrant her pulling out a knife against him. Also putting a knife on him is not going to be a good way to get him to not sue. Her safety or where they were headed wasn't even something she thought about as the car left the school campus and headed to the main road. She just needs to do whatever and have him agree not to sue. That was all that mattered.

" Huh" she took a deep breath as she pointed her eyes to the man leaning against his window and driving in silence. His hoodie still covering his side profile, hiding his whole face away from her; Only his hand was exposed as her eyes focused on his right hand steering the car. He had no jewelry today. It was an unconscious thought that crossed her mind before she recognized the dark color on his wrist. He has bruises. There was physical proof of the attack he took days ago. If he needed another proof, he had them on his body. "Junpyo doesn't fight people '' she recalled Jihoo's words as she was forced to think that this might be the first time he even has bruises. It would be fair for him to retaliate against her. He had every right given everything she had done enough to mess with his ego, and she knew he had enough reason to attack her with everything he got. The fragile ego of people like him, she knew he could and will make her life a living hell by making him experience things he wasn't supposed to experience. She had humiliated him, so she knew he probably would start with that. That should be his first idea and Jandi, who didn't care much about herself, was ready to do even the most humiliating acts if that meant the family gets to live their lives without having to deal with his lawyers.

She sat in silence with her hands playing with themselves but not for long. She has to get him to agree not to sue the family before she does anything for him.

" Leave them alone," she broke the silence as Junpyo turned right and brought the car to the park he enjoys driving through. Her eyes from his right hand lifted to the right side of his face his hoodie was covering. If she could, she would have loved to pull it down and follow that by taking his glasses off. His voice she was waiting for, she was left waiting as Junpyo focused on the road. The silence returned; this time, he was the one to break it.

" Did you do that to woobin for him?" Junpyo focused on the road and asked his own question.

" Yes' ' she responded, forcing a smirk on his face. She really was nicely responding now that he had something against her.

" Is he your friend or something?" his slight head moved towards her , she leaned forward to catch his face but still failed. The dark fabric completely hid his face.

" No" she responded as her eyes quickly returned to his right hand which tightened its grip on the steering wheel.

" he doesn't have to be my friend to care about him" she added the clarification he didn't ask for.

" Your friend beat him to near death," she added, knowing she was walking a thin line by bringing that up. Neither of them was able to recognize it yet but it wasn't just Jihoo that provided her a space to say what she wanted. If she sat down and analyzed it, it was the one sitting next to her that actually lets her be her truest self and say what she wanted to say with no worry. With Jihoo she liked and respected there are filters to how she acts and what she says. With this one, there was no filter. There was no reason to hide anything. He had already seen enough and she could care less about what he thinks about her. That was the main difference. With Jihoo, she cared what he thought. Specifically what he thought about her, with this one, her goal was even to be more mean and as angry as she could. In her truest, anger and rage-filled form was how she interacted with Junpyo.

" What does that have to do with you?" he asked and finally, she got a slight view of his face as he turned towards her when he heard her small smirk. The dark shades sitting on his nose, Jandi was forced to focus her eyes on the rest of his face and not on his eyes she couldn't see.

" of course, you would ask that" her smirk got bigger.

" You seem like the type that would walk over a person dying because it has nothing to do with you," she added her hands opened and sent to adjust her jacket and sit properly. Her smirks came from realizing why she even thought she could talk to him and convince him to change his mind. This jerk doesn't care. He doesn't care about anything. That was the repeated message she has gotten about him from the people that knew him the best. Even when she blamed him for F4, Jihoo had defended his best friend by claiming Junpyo never cared enough to participate.

" am sure you enjoy sitting back and watching him torment people"

" You talk as if you know me" was his soft response to her claim. His focus on the road, Junpyo opened the window by his side. He needs some fresh air.

" I don't need to know you or intend to" his smile she had missed was thanks to his face that was covered, and her whole attention on the tall trees by her window. Her anger he had just triggered, she had found it claiming to focus on the tall trees and the beautiful green view of the park they were driving through.

" You've always stood behind them, staring and being entertained"

" you make a lot of assumptions about people you don't like" his response to her claim was quick. Her angry eyes were even faster as they turned red and landed on him.

" I am not making assumptions. I went to the same school as you for 4 years"

" and it's not that I don't like you. I hate everything about you" she added, ignoring her own mind that was warning her to control her anger that was trying hard to take over. Her rage he could easily trigger; she wasn't yet aware that this was the main reason she was in the mess she was in, to begin with. Her eyes turning to the trees, she took deep breaths to regulate her body and stay in charge of the anger she was pushing back into its cage.

" You don't even know me," was all Junpyo said. That was the only thing he could say while his busy mind was trying to find why she hated him this much. Her issue with him seems deeper than something about some shoe burning. Her anger was visible in her voice, the anger was deeper, and he couldn't find a single reason. The girl he had only been aware of months ago, he was left baffled by how much she knew about him while he wasn't even aware of her existence.

" I have better things to do than spend a second trying to understand why your messed up mind does all the shitty stuff you do" her direct words had gotten the first smile out of Jun Pyo.

" Then why are you here?"

" Are you going to sue them?" She asked, turning her eyes his way. She was thankful the conversation turned back to the main point before it derailed to sensitive topics that could bring up issues. Or her anger taking over and finally attacking the person her hand has been beginning to slam using the steering wheel every time she heard his smile.

" You are after me so leave them alone," she added, offering herself.

" Just do what you want with me and leave them alone" her eyes focused on him, Junpyo turned her way. He needed confirmation of thr seriousness of her words, and one look into her eyes, and he knew she was dead serious about what she was saying.

" You know too much already so I am sure you want something from me" she reminded both of everything he knows and hasn't shared with any of his friends. Junpyo, choosing to swallow his frustration, sat in silence. The cold air from the window was where he tried to focus as he drove in silence. The tall trees they were cruising through were the right escape from what he had heard minutes ago. He never seemed to care whether people liked him or not, but this seems too personal to not care about it. The minutes added up, Junpyo was provided enough time as he decided to adopt the evil character she was making him out to be and play along.

As the car started driving through the thin road that leads to the gate, Jandi knew where they were headed. The house she had seen when Jihoo made them stop by. Her eyes from the thin road turned to Junpyo. He can't be foolish enough to do something in his house, with witnesses. Maybe the people that work for him are paid enough and will not say anything. Her mind busily started calculating how much you have to be paid and what contract you had to sign to live with these people. The exit strategy she was supposed to be thinking about, but her mind didn't even get to that as the tall gate came into view. No matter how much she fought her brain, it couldn't stop from being wowed by the metal gates that automatically opened when the car got close. He didn't have to press anything or call for anybody as the sensor attached to his car had forced the meta gates to part. Her eyes focused on the tall trees surrounding the road, she was waiting for the view to clear so she could see the magnificent garden on the right side. And just like she remembers it, the trees had cleared to showcase the majestic garden that had left her breathless the first time she saw it. The property which's values she can't even estimate, she couldn't even imagine how much it would cost to own this big of a land and turn it into such a beautiful garden.

It wasn't his idea, she concluded as Junpyo didn't seem the type to care and have such a place built. His family home she knows about, she was a tiny bit curious whose house this was. When the realization that he could own his own house crossed her mind, she turned her eyes his way. That would be ridiculous. His family has a mansion, a summer home, a winter vacation cabin, and a condo and he gets his own house? She was asked to answer her question about how much she doesn't understand these people's wealth. Even so, owning this place would be too ridiculous for him and just him. "Why do you even care?" The question that crossed her mind shut everything down and forced her to return to silently admiring the garden they drove past as they headed to the house. One of the maids Jandi saw on the top of the stairs, she focused her eyes on the maid that hadn't seen that there was a person in the passenger seat. The tinted windows had blocked the view as they had assumed it was just Junpyo returning. The moment the car drove through the gate, all in the kitchen had seen it, and she was chosen to go and greet him and see if he needed anything else before he locked himself in his room. The rest of them were busy arguing over the type of fish they should have for dinner.

The car that stopped in the middle of the driveway, was the first clue the maid got that something was different. He usually parked it at the corner. She got the second one when the passenger door opened. Her eyes had to close and open again, the maid zoomed her eyes on the girl that stepped out of the passenger seat. The shock visible on her face, the maid turned her eyes to Junpyo, who leaving the driver's door open, started walking around the car and to the stairs leading to the door she was standing by. Junpyo looked just as he did when he left, shades on, messy hair cuddling his face, and topped by the hoodie. He didn't turn around to acknowledge the girl that came out of his car, nor did he even look at her as he started heading up the stairs. The maid, still with a shocked face, turned her eyes to jandi who slowly started following him behind. Looking left and right, Jandi only needed seconds to notice where the cars were parked and which exit was the closest. She wasn't aware that the metal gates that surrounded the house couldn't be opened without a code , not even from the inside. There was no exiting this property without somebody helping her. All the cars parked locked, she knew the one he left behind might be the right one to use but she knew somebody probably was coming to park and lock it. Her exit plan was what she focused on as she finished the stairs and came to the side of the maid standing there eagerly waiting to see her up close.

" Welcome Miss" the maid with a big smile on gave Jandi a bow. Jandi's sharp eyes scanned the uniform they wore before she focused on the girl's smiling face. As always, she returned the bow with her own and a small smile.

" This way" the maid led Jandi to the direction Junpyo was taking. She wasn't doing it to help Jandi but to get her to walk first so she could follow behind and scan the mysterious girl that had returned to this house. Her boots on, the maid focused on her legs covered with the black leggings she had on, then her school uniform. One thing was for sure, she was a student at the same school. Her hair tied into a lower bun, the maid scanned for any jewelry and found only the bracelet on Jandi's left hand. Her nails scratched her fingers, even the maid caught that before she returned her eyes to Jandi's face that turned her way.

" huh" she gave her a small smile. The mysterious girl was carefully scanning every corner of the lobby they were walking through that led to the welcoming living room and then the small dining area, which the maid knew he was leading them to. The maid, ignoring Jandi, that was taking mental pictures of the room, returned her focus to her phone she pulled out and the group message she started typing. The people that missed Jandi's presence last time, she knew they would jump up from their seats and run to see the girl. This might be the most exciting thing to happen for their week, she knew all will be excited to hear the girl has not only shown up again but is officially in the house.

As they walked into the dining room, she slowed to see what would happen. Her curious eyes were sent to Junpyo, who walked to the chair he usually sits by and pulled it. Because he wasn't saying anything to the girl or directing her, the maid was realizing how much he really doesn't care about anybody. The mysterious girl didn't seem like she needed it either as she continued her walk to the grand table and chose to pull the seat right in front of him. Jandi's focused eyes have avoided looking at the wall-to-wall glass door of the dining room that opens to the outside eating area surrounded by flowers. She needs to focus. She had ignored all the breathtaking views of the house she had seen so far as she forced herself to focus on the goal. She needs to make him agree not to sue. She has claimed she will do whatever, which was why she was there, back in the house she had sworn she would never return to. She had also claimed she would never be impressed by anything related to this man, but here she was being forced to not even look at any of the things around the magnificent one-of-a-kind house.

As Jandi pulled the chair and sat down, the maid standing by the entrance of the dining room, stayed there taking mental pictures before she left running. More than the stuff they have to serve because a guest was there, she was excited to tell all that she had seen. The most interesting fact was the confidence and scary look on Jandi's face as she sat down and focused her eyes on Jun Pyo. Jandi didn't look even remotely scared of their young master, and that was new to the people that bow down at his feet. She needs to rush and report all that she has seen, but most importantly, she has to return with the snacks and tea that will be served. That will be a great way to sneak and listen to what was the reason this girl has shown up at this house again. While she quickened her steps to the staff kitchen, Jandi's eyes were given what they had been asking for as Junpyo took off his glasses and threw them on the marble and glass table that was custom designed by a famous artist that only made two pieces. One sits in the blue house, and one is here.

Janid , who was fighting not even to question what type of table it was, let alone who it was designed by, focused all her attention on the glass and his eyes. His dark eyes, his black eyes hidden behind the blinking thick eyelashes of his, looked off. A bit sickly, she guessed as she assessed the rest of his face she could see. Did he get sick because of being beaten? That would be too hilarious, she thought to herself as her curious eyes went on examining his face. Her hands she placed on her lap, her fingers playing with themselves as she wished somebody would rip his hoodie off and tie his hair away so she could see his full face and get a clear assessment of whether he was sick. Her eyes scanned every inch of his face, the silence of the dining room wasn't a problem until she noticed they were just sitting there staring at each other. The window open at the corner welcoming the nice breeze of the afternoon was the only thing moving as she forced her eyes not to back down from him that was challenging her to a stare down or so she thought. As always, she had underestimated his eyes, which slowly made her conscious of the foreign place she was in. She was in his space. Everything around her was foreign and not where she belonged.

" What do you want from me?" she asked, choosing to get this over with as quickly as possible. his arms he crossed, Junpyo sat more comfortably. Her hands he couldn't see; he was sure they probably were fighting each other as she forced herself to look calm and in control of the situation which he knew she had no control over. It was fascinating to see how good she was at masking her emotions. It was a talent, and he has never seen anybody do it so well. She was like a trained robot that doesn't show anything on her face. The fact that she had gotten in his car , come to his house and was not sitting in his house while she hated him as much as she claimed, Junpyo knew both were aware of how much of an upper hand he had in the situation. It has to be a serious deal for her to be here.

" If you don't sleep with them, what do you do then?" His first question forced both back to the conversation they had at the fundraising. The first time they even had a back-and-forth conversation that lasted more than a minute, and where he was able to have her respond to his questions. His curiosity about what she does, Jandi was being given her first clue that he might just be curious but she wasn't an optimist enough to accept that being the only thing. As always, she was prepared for the worst and that comes with calculating every possible way he can use any information she might give him. Was he going to hire her and do things? Was he going to force her to sleep with people? Or even worse? Her mind was going through all possible scenarios before she answered.

" We are escorts, I am sure you know what escorts do. '' She chose to keep her answer vague. She needs more information on why he was asking specifically about her job. The first thought that crossed her mind but was instantly dismissed was him wanting to do things to her or with her but that was immensely whipped away before she even laughed at herself. This spoiled brat has communicated enough times that he doesn't think of her as enough even to touch let alone. She had to stop herself before she laughed at herself as she was quickly reminded of the supermodel-looking girls that throw themselves at him for him even to be curious about the likes of her. What she wouldn't put past him is the fact that he could be evil enough to have her hired and do things together with people so he could just humiliate her. That was what she landed on as her eyes looking for any hint into what he was thinking about came empty-handed.

" Why do you do it?"

" Why do you think so?" she responded with a question. Her hands were crossed Jandi wasn't aware of her body that leaned back against the chair, and she sat comfortably as she waited for his response. She was busy trying to figure out how he was able to have such an innocent and curious look in his eyes while he was planning ways to punish her for retaliating against him. How does he mask his true intentions behind such eyes?

" I don't know. Some people like entertaining others, enjoy sleeping around, or want rich men "

" You think I am doing it to sleep with rich men?"

" I don't know. That's why I asked" his response came with a hint of frustration.

" Money"

" I do it for Money '' the weird smile that accompanied her response, Jandi was trying hard not to accept that he is this removed from reality.

" Why not other jobs, then?"

" Are you really asking this?. because it pays more and it's less work" Her smile came from knowing that he probably doesn't even check the charges that get made to his card whenever he is at such places. He probably never even sees the receipt of the crazy night they spend at clubs surrounded by every type of girl, including escorts.

"Isn't it dangerous?" this one quickly removed her smile away from her face. Her eyes fighting against accepting the emotions visible in his eyes, she chose to ignore them and focus on answering his question.

" I know how to fight"

" Is that why you learned? 'He asked, giving her the right excuse for why she knows how to fight or have protective hyungs.

" Yes" she responded with a follow-up.

" I get protection from the people I work for too," she added, hoping that would answer any question he might have about Bom.

" they will hunt and kill anybody that harms me" her eyes were clear with their message as she sent it to him. It was a warning and Junpyo received it as such. He didn't have to doubt her, he knew her words were true. The look in Bom's eyes when they picked her unconscious body up, he clearly remembers how Bom looked ready to kill him with his bare hands.

" I thought he was a gang member"

" Yes,he is'' she was happy to catch the little hint of fear she saw in his eyes by what she said. Being gang members was the easier way the team had agreed to use as an excuse for anybody that questioned them. People are usually scared to ask any further questions or dig deep when they know a whole gang is involved. Having used it before, Jandi was happy with where the conversation was going. A gang member, involved with people who will kill, works as an escort... she had hoped that would be enough to let him back off. Not because he was scared but because she was such an unwanted member of society to even deal with. Why waste your time with such filths, was what most claimed. Quickly remembering how to make herself even more of a repulsive person, she changed her claim.

" He has connections"

" That's how we get clients. Sometimes they get me, clients that pay 4 or 5 times to sleep with young girls; we make good money," she added as her smiles were kept to herself. She was proud of herself and how much lower she was willing to portray herself if it meant he would be disgusted enough to let her go and let her be. That was the only thing she focused on.

" There are so many rich people willing to throw so much money at you if you are open to doing things"

" I'm sure you already know; you're part of that club" she made sure to send an arrow aimed right at him. Her eyes on him; he didn't seem phased by what she said. He actually hasn't moved in a minute. His eyes were glued to hers, he hadn't said anything or reacted to anything she was saying.

" Some people have too much money to know what to do with," she added as her eyes lifted to the two maids that walked into the space. She followed the cart they were wheeling as it was brought to the table, and they started laying out all the different desserts on the table. The tea and lemonade were just made, jandi could smell both as they were placed on the table.

" Tea or '' the maid next to her gave Jandi a bow and started asking for her choice. Jandi's focus was on the other maid that had walked to Junpyo's side and started making his plate and pouring him the lemonade. She already knows what he likes.

" Water is fine," Jandi whispered, giving the maid a small smile.

" Do you want bottled water, water with ice, sparkling water, minted water? What type of water? The maid, leaning close to Jandi, asked.

" Just that , I will just drink that, '' she pointed at the lemonade. Why does one have so many options for water, rich-people!

" Here you go" The maid placing the glass of lemonade by Jandi's side gave her a big smile. Both maids weren't able to hide how they were scanning Jandi.

" thank you" Jandi responded with a bow. It felt odd to be served and treated like this. The uncomfortableness she felt was all over her body as she gave them small bows. Unlike her Junpyo hasn't even recognized they were there. Both, having completed their task, slowly started walking away from the table, the carts they were rolling; they took their time looking at the two people they were leaving behind.

" Who is she?"

" I have no idea. I know she is a scholarship student and apparently F4 target" they went on whispering as they turned around and kept glancing at Jandi, who was running around and looking at them every time she noticed they were looking at her. She hadn't failed to give them a bow whenever she caught them. This was the first person that ever bowed down to them.

" She is so cute"

" Did you see her smile"

" She is beautiful but in an odd way"

" you should have seen how she was walking" that was what the two focused on as they left the room. The fascinating new girl had all their focus for the day. It will be by night when they will get to their young master and what on earth is happening with him to have a girl in his house. The smiles she was giving them have wiped away the moment the room returned to just her and the young master. The lemonade she wasn't planning on drinking, Jandi forced her eyes not to even look at the exquisite set of desserts laid on the table and just focus on her task. Even the design of the lemonade glass and the delicious-looking fresh lemonade, jandi forced her eyes to ignore. The in-house baked slices of bread, the sample cakes, the chocolates imported from France, the fresh-cut fruits, the cheese plates, ... all the other things she couldn't even name were removed from her curious thoughts as she directed her focus on her goal. Silencing her inner curiosity and emotions was what she did best, and her eagerness to want to try these things was eliminated and she was forced to stay in the mess she created that could land her in jail. Not just her; the whole team will be in prison if not killed. It was not the time to think how good it was to be beautiful to even touch strawberry shortcakes by her side tested.

" Does Jihoo know about it? " Junpyo broke the silence. He didn't look that interested with all the food in front of him either. He has never been into food to care and today, out of any other day, he had better things to focus on than food. The girl sitting across the table had all his attention and focus.

" Do you think he would be my friend if he did?" she responded with a question, and for the first time, he recognized an emotion on her face. She seemed disappointed. Her eyes landed on her hands, Jandi couldn't even think about what his reaction would be if Jihoo learned about what she does. The job she had proudly exaggerated and shared with Junpyo; she knew she couldn't whisper it to Jihoo.

" It's Jihoo, he would '' Junpyo didn't know why he had to say that hoping it would make her feel better about it.

" Why don't you tell him?" hoping this would be the perfect time to get some answers from him, she asked.

" It's not my place"

" I am sure you will tell him once you trust him enough," he added, getting her eyes to lift back to him and stay on him. His eyes she hadn't been able to figure out, they were more puzzling as they finally left her and headed to the opened window.

" It's funny how you hate me for it but the only friend you have is a member of F4 '' his small smirk , Junpyo returned his eyes her way. She didn't have an answer to his claim. He was right. The only person close enough to be considered her friend was a member of the group she had promised to not only abolish but destroy its members one by one.

" You did

" If you're offered other jobs' ' he cut her before she said anything about Jihoo was special. He doesn't want to hear it. He has seen it.

" Would you take it? Since you do it for money" While she took in his question, her eyes shifted to his right hand, which was lifted up and started brushing his hair behind his ear

"Jihoo might offer when he knows you do it for money," he added. The right side of his face became clear, Jandi stayed silent for a second as she questioned why he was even asking or even remotely cared about what Jihoo might do. Is he still scared she will take advantage of Jihoo?

" Once I graduate, I have nothing to do with Jihoo" Her response was meant to highlight how she doesn't want to deal with any of them after her life at that school was done. Whatever she was building with Jihoo, she was planning on ending it when she graduates it, and she wasn't shy about sharing that. She had brought it up even to Jihoo.

" I am counting the days to when I don't have to wear this"

" You don't have to if you don't want to," he offered a fake solution to the main problem she was pointing out.

" No, you don't have to. We have to" she corrected him.

" We live in two different worlds," she added with a small smile. The first genuine smile aimed at him, and Junpyo had no option but to take a mental picture of it. The first time he heard these words, he hadn't paid that much attention to them, considering how much he wasn't aware of the reality of what she was saying. The two worlds they were living in, Junpyo would have to pay heavy prices to realize.

" You're sitting in front of me; what world are we divided by"

" I am sitting here not because I want to, but so you wouldn't play a petty game that will ruin a whole family's life and land people in prison" she brought it back to the main topic.

" It's funny how Woobin could have killed him and gotten away with it, but the moment you get some soup on you, you care"

" I didn't have anything to do with that kid"

" Did you tell Woobin to stop when he was beating him to death?" she asked, startling him. The sincere and serious she was asking, she was looking for a clear answer that might be able to help him redeem himself from the depth of hell she thinks he belongs in. This was it. This was the reason he couldn't seem to understand the girl that was never scared to call him out. Her cursing and slaps were nowhere close to what her words could do when she asked him the simple questions while her careful eyes hunted for any lies he might use to get away with it. He was never able to get away with it or even dared to try. If not her sharp words, her scary eyes were enough. They were enough to leave him baffled and stunned by who on earth this girl was to be this bold.

" He won't be able to sit properly or play sports for the rest of his life" Jandi wasn't sure why she even had to share this to get him to understand what was done fully, but it felt like the right thing. For some reason, her six senses were aware of how he was seriously listening to her words. This was the opportunity for her to try and use her words to have him back down. His empathy she had dismissed as useless, as he doesn't seem to care; maybe this was the right time to pull at his empathy and use that to convince him of what she wanted him to do. Have some kindness from the boy and his mother, whose lives he could easily destroy.

" He had multiple surgeries that bankrupted the family, and in so much medical debt they will waste their whole life paying"

" Do you know what it means to have a lifetime of debt?"

" And Just because your friend had a tantrum," the smirk on her face, Jandi still couldn't believe that was the reason the boy was in the hospital. Her eyes focused on Jun Pyo. She didn't know when she recognized the small moment of guilt she was able to witness on his face. She was left even more confused by his eyes. She only had given her a second to see it before even his face was turned to the opened window in the distance.

" I wasn't there" Junpyo knew that wasn't even close to a valid excuse, not even close. Even Jihoo hadn't bought that one, let alone this girl.

" And when he slapped me or burned my shoes? '' she added, crossing her arms and waiting for a response. He can't use the same excuse because he was always there, standing behind. Always staring right back at her, waiting for her to react. She had always caught him staring right at her.

" It wasn't you who told them to drug me and strip me to do God knows what," She questioned this one, getting a reaction out of even her controlling mind who has been able to silence her anger. I wasn't angry that she felt. For a split second, she felt a tiny hint of pain that was instantly removed. She can't afford to feel any pain. The fact that he didn't even consider her human enough to do that to her, the pain from that was removed before it was even registered. She can't afford to feel sad about being considered inferior to them. That was given. She would be more shocked if they considered her human and valued her emotions. That would be the odd situation, not the one where they could do anything to her without thinking her even being human enough to feel pain or any other emotion.

" Huh" she sighed as she sent the energy starting to itch at her skin to be silenced by her fingers. She didn't need them to consider her human just like them anyway. The only people she cared about were a handful of the people she ate and sleeps with who will die for her. Those were the people who she cared about. Everybody else could treat her as a sub-human animal and she wouldn't give a damn. The world has been treating her like such since she could remember so it wasn't any different coming from this spoiled brat.

" I only asked them to talk to you. '' His right hand pulled his hoodie down, Junpyo whispered. Jandi, not recognizing how another layer of his cover he had reoved, focused on the hair he brushed away. His luscious hair had a way of getting her attention, per usual.

" Does it matter?" her question forced him to look up . His right hand brushed most of his hair away from his face, it returned to his shoulder to sit crossed with his left one. His glasses, hoodie, and even his hair were all finally away from the face he had been hiding. Avoiding wasting that much time on his face, Jandi took some seconds to send her eyes to the right side of his neck she saw tapes on. There were medical tapes across the back of his neck.

" Is that why you always look like you are ready to kill me ?' he asked, forcing her eyes to leave the dark marks on his neck and return to his face. Specifically, his eyes that were asking her to be honest in her response. Were they asking? They seemed like they were pleading.

" Would it make it all better if you did?" he added, leaving Jandi confused about where the conversation had landed. The silence that returned seconds after he asked, the room felt heavier than ever as both were forced to sit with the question he had asked that was still hanging in the air. Her curious and baffled eyes asking for clarification, Jandi would regret as she took note of how something had softly changed in even how he was looking at her, let alone the words written all over his body. Her eyes were forced to stay on his; she wasn't ready for his walls he softly lowered and let her curious eyes in to find the answer they were looking for. She wasn't sure at what point his tall and overpowering body started looking broken and frail. When the energy from his black fabric-covered body matched the subdued look on his, she wasn't aware of when the shift had happened as the seconds in complete silence went on. Her eyes pulled to whatever she was curious about; Jandi wasn't ready for what she would witness hiding behind his eyes that had failed to learn how to pretend in front of her or even want to.

Maybe it was the flicker of the light from the chandelier hanging above, later on she would dismiss it as it being a glimmer of light as she caught the flicker of the small movement of water in his eyes. The silence of the room couldn't get any louder as even the soft movements of the curtain of the opened window could be heard. The silence of their quiet breaths removed from the space; it turned dead silent the moment she was given a glimpse into what he hid behind his hauntingly beautiful eyes that never failed to draw her in. The red flags that were always saved for her to avoid his eyes were none as there was no time to be warned about the danger of where she was being pulled into as her body was forced to stop moving and focus. Her nails pulling at her skin, even though they had slowed as her confused eyes stayed glued to the gloom that had taken over the separating them. There were no words that needed to be exchanged. The oxygen she was breathing felt cooler than ever as it went down her lungs had slowed down with every inch her eyes were pulled in deeper and forced to relish in the dark agony that hides behind the pretty face of the boy she had wished to choke and kill with her own hands.

" at least we have one thing in common" he was the one to break the silence as he quickly removed his eyes from her view. It was deliberate as his eyes didn't return to her as he changed their view to focus on the table. His right hand going to his hair, he started brushing the dark strands of the smooth hair to his face. His right hand from his hair was sent to the table as he quickly stood up. Her eyes followed his every movement, Jandi had caught as his right hand pulling his hoodie back to his head; adding another layer of cover.

"We both want me dead" he added with a smirk that she caught. Her eyes that were searching for his dark ones; she had seen his weird smile before she got a glimpse of his eyes hiding behind his hair before his frantic right hand brushed his hair to the sides and he started walking away from the table. That was it. The fraction of a second was the last time she saw his eyes before he turned around and quickened his steps out of the room. The soft sound of his steps disappearing, the silence of the room returned as Jandi was left in the empty space all by herself.
