Chapter 275

Hiccups POV:

It's been seven weeks since we got back from our Arabian adventure and since then I am happy to say nothing big has happened outside of me placing the shards from the gem of Berukaru in my mystic weapons vault where I keep the items that should not be out in the world. Turns out I was right to do so since when I opened to chest to remove them, I'd discovered the gem had reformed and was back to how it was before I shattered it so it could be used again which is not something I was going to allow. Aside from that, I'd placed the glass sand twister monster in the trophy room along with Aali's whip alongside the other trophies I got from Arabia. Other than that, I'd been working on enhancing my combat skills along with those of my family and the snake guardians who were determined to become more powerful with some of them being able to obtain human forms. It wasn't all combat though since I had to balance my life a bit with time to relax and enjoy not only my hobbies but also time with my family who were always happy to have some time together.

Everyone had their own things going on though like Brant and his training to be a warrior, Chara with her weaving practice under Arachne while continuing her combat training, my wives doing their own things and Toothless spending time with his flock. This gave me time to focus on training to be chief under my dad but to be honest I don't think it was so much training as it was my dad pushing the majority of his work onto me so he could take some time off to spend time with my mom. Seriously, he'd give me jobs such as welcoming babies into the tribe, solving trade disputes, fixing buildings, rounding up stray sheep, checking on Berks defenses, coming up with ideas to improve Berk and more. I honestly couldn't blame him though since he was getting on in his years and wanted more time to rest while also wanting to know that when the time comes to pass on the reins to me, he can do so without worrying.

On a brighter note, Chara has come far enough in her training that I felt she was ready to follow in her brother's footsteps and reenter the golden dragon armory and see if it would gift her with anything. What she walked out with was a black silk, sleeveless vest with grey highlights with the upper opening being closed by two silver buttons shaped like crescent moons so it looked pretty plain at first until we discovered its abilities. First like Brant's armor, it couldn't be penetrated with any weapon and prevents any weapons from piercing her body which helps relieve some of my worry a bit. In addition to this it could push her kunai out of any part of it so they can come out whenever she needed it but couldn't reach her belt like when her arms are tied up behind her back. This lifted a little of the worry about her a little so I was grateful for it and looking forward to seeing what it would be able to do when it was able to evolve.

Now I was running through my bamboo forest in nothing but my ninja attire, given to me by the ancient one and a blindfold while being chased by my ninja who were keeping hidden and throwing blunt shuriken at me. The point of this training was to help mestop relying on my eyes and instead use my other senses to not only sense coming attacks but to paint a picture in my mind of the area surrounding me. It wasn't easy but the Ancient one had put me through a similar training in a pitch-black cave wearing nothing but my underwear and a blindfold, leaving my skin to feel the cold around it and my feet to feel the sharp rocks beneath them. Compared to that, this was nothing, but it was still difficult since they'd set up various traps that would swing at me and I'd have to sense and dodge them while also avoiding their shuriken. To make things a bit more difficult and painful for me, if I was hit by either the traps, shuriken or ran into anything then I'd have to restart which is why this is my seventeenth time going through this obstacle course with the goal being to reach the shrine where Wind was waiting.

It was then I could sense the nearing of the shrine by the sounds of Dogame and Beruto~usu's gong and bell ringing to show how close I was to my goal. I admit this training hadn't been the least bit easy and I would need some healing when it's done since the last thing, I wanted was for my wives to see my body covered in bruises. It was then I could hear the sound of wind being cut ahead of me and I quickly dropped to my knees in a slide while leaning back and feeling the wind hit my face as the shuriken flew over it. I quickly rushed to get back onto my feet and continued running towards the shrine and hoped I'd be able to reach it without being hit this time since it was getting annoying, being constantly pelted with blunt shuriken and being hit with bamboo poles. It was then I could sense a presence right in front of me and I stopped before being blinded temporarily by the light of the sun as my blind fold was pulled off. I looked around and found myself in front of the shrine with my ninja surrounding me and smiled before I asked.

"I pass the test?" They each gave a simultaneous nod making me sigh in relief before walking up to the shrine and sitting on the steps. "Finally, I thought we'd be at this till nightfall."

I willed my spiderpack that had been sitting on the floor of the shrine to come over to me and hand me both my bottomless waterskin and my mystic ganji waters. Once they were in my hands, I opened the waterskin and poured the water onto my head to cool my body off while also washing a bit of the sweat off. It was then I heard slithering behind me, and I frowned since I knew the slither of every snake guardian under my command and this one always meant a headache for me. This was proven right when the familiar voice of my sister-in-law said.

"Training hard again Hiccup?" I heard a thump as she dropped her body onto the floor of the shrine. "You know my sister and her fellow wives hate it when you overdo it since you want to protect them so much when they're capable of defending themselves." I took a drink from the waterskin.

"It's not just about protecting them Verta, it's about being prepared for whatever I might face in the world on my travels." She slithered in front of me in her half snake form.

"Oh yes, that hobby of yours where you travel the world and hunt monsters for the good of the people while your family worry themselves sick at home, wondering if you'll come back." I sighed in annoyance.

"What are you doing here Verta?"

"My sister is preparing lunch and wished to let you know for when you're done with your training exercises." I nodded.

"Alright, I'll let her know I'll be there as soon as I can." She nodded and began to slither away but turned back to me.

"By the way, you might want to do something about those bruises before going to lunch unless you want Astrid to complain about you pushing yourself too hard and then pummeling your ninja for what they did." She then giggled and slithered away but I could tell my ninja were also glaring at her as I grunted in annoyance and pulled out my mystic Ganji waters and healed my bruises before I got dressed and left for lunch.

10 minutes later

I was sitting at the table with my family, all of us enjoying the meal of rice balls and freshly cooked fish prepared by Blanca while discussing what we'll be doing with the remainder of our day. As expected, Brant had spent his day in the training room, practicing his hand to hand combat abilities since he knew there would be times when he needed to focus on his own fighting abilities instead of his weapon. Chara on the other hand had spent her morning with Arachne, doing her weaving lessons while my wives were busy doing their own things around the island with Blanca taking care of Xiu, Astrid training in the jungle and Hadasa tending to the various plants in the garden. All in all, it was nice peaceful lunch which Brant was doing his best to finish quickly, making me chuckle as I said.

"Easy there son, the foods not going to disappear if you take your time to savor it." He looked up at me.

"Sorry, but I've got plans with Robyne and I don't want to be late." I chuckled.

"She can wait a few extra minutes while you finish your meal." He nodded before he continued to eat but a little slower as Hadasa asked.

"You really seem to be getting close to that little wolf walker." She then got a mischievous smile. "Am I seeing your first love with the young wolfess?" I could tell Brant was embarrassed by how he was blushing and trying to hide his face behind his drink.

"Come on Hadasa, stop teasing the boy about the time he spends with his girlfriend." Brant looked at me with his face going so red it resembled a tomato.

"She's not my girlfriend, she's just a friend." Astrid smiled.

"I used to say the same thing about me and your father." He groaned before continued to finish before running off to find Robyne while Chara went to go play with the wolves and as they did, I couldn't help but smile which is something my wives noticed as Hadasa said.

"And what are you smiling about?" I shrugged.

"Can't a man simply smile?" The girls all looked at me before Astrid said.

"Hiccup, we're your wives so do you really think we wouldn't know something's up?" I sighed and shook my head.

"Why do I always think there's something I can hide from you girls." They rolled their eyes. "I'm just happy whenever I see them go have fun like normal kids instead of training to be warriors or studying for when they grow up and plan to travel." Blanca replied.

"It is always nice to see them enjoy being young and just being children instead of training under you and the ninja or in the library studying one of the books about foreign cultures." I nodded.

"Yeah, even when we're all on vacation they still train half the time." Hadasa then said.

"In their defense, most of the kids their age only want to spend time with them to help their parents get closer to you or use them in some way." I nodded as Blanca said.

"Maybe we should go on another trip to someplace where we've got family and know the kids won't be used."

"Well that's not going to be easy since everyone wants to use me in some way, and they won't hesitate to use the kids to do so if our trip to Arabia a few weeks back is anything to go on." Astrid then said.

"Maybe we should go see your Uncle Fergus and Aunt Elinor since their castle is pretty safe, the locals are all friendly and the last time they saw the kids was when you married Hadasa and even then they didn't get to speak that much with them with all that was happening." I nodded.

"It would be nice to see them again after so long and they don't know about Xiu so it'll be a chance to introduce them to her." They nodded. "So, we're all in agreement on this trip?" They all nodded again except for Xiu who just looked around while being rocked in Blanca's arms. "Then let's start making the plans for the trip." They all nodded before we began discussing things for the trip.

1 week later

I stepped through the portal door leading into the courtyard of my Uncle Fergus's castle and smiled as I took a deep breath and smelt the air of Dunbroch and as expected, it smelt of fresh rain. I looked at my family and saw the kids looking around in wonder since this was their first time so I couldn't blame them for being a bit curious and knew they'd want to explore the castle a bit once we've settled in. I extended my shadow and allowed Toothless, Twilight, Stormfly and Liánhuā who each stretched out their wings and looked around at their new surroundings as I released Zhang Yong who took his place by Blanca before I told them.

"You guys stay out here and stretch your wings a bit while we let everyone know we're here." I then turned to Toothless. "And Toothless, make sure they don't set anything on fire, alright bud?" He growled and nodded as Twilight began to try and catch his tail that he was moving around which I had to admit was adorable despite the fact that she was now half the size of her adoptive father before I turned to my family. "Alright, everybody the rules while we're here." They all nodded before Brant asked.

"I still don't get why training isn't allowed while we're here?" I smiled down and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Because this is a trip for family bonding and some fun so no training unless it's in a friendly competition."

He nodded and we made our way towards the castle entrance but the second I opened it, I had to lift my hand and catch a flying shield before it hit my head. I looked around and saw the entire entrance hall was locked in a brawl with men pummeling each other like there was no tomorrow and how they were wearing different kilts that were had four different colored plaids showing which of the four great clans they belonged to. Seeing the men pummeling each other senseless, mixed with the different colored kilts and the bagpipers playing loudly no matter what was thrown their way, I knew it could only mean that it was time for the great games. It was then the sound of giggling caught my attention and I turned to see little Xiu giggling in Blanca's arms at the violence and I sighed knowing that it was the Viking blood in her that allowed her to take such delight in the extreme violence. It was then my Uncle Fergus brought an end to the brawls by yelling.

"SHUT IT!" That got everyone to be quiet but unfortunately it scared Xiu who began crying, gaining the attention of everyone since the cries of a baby was probably the last thing anyone expected to hear after a major brawl and of course everyone turned to the door to see me and my family. "HICCUP, IS THAT YOU LAD?" I smiled and waved at him.

"Hi Uncle Fergus." He smiled at us before looking at the crowd with a frown.

"Clear a path lads, it's not every day my nephew comes to visit with his family." They all cleared a path for us and once we reached the front of the hall, he and Aunt Elinor walked up. "Now who's this little wee one?" I smiled.

"The newest member to the family, the blood daughter of me and Blanca, Xiu." He chuckled.

"Well congrats to ya lad." He then turned to my wives. "The three of ya are still a trio of true beauties." He then turned Brant and Chara. "And look at the two of you wearing armor now, the last time you two didn't even have weapons on ya." They rolled their eyes before Aunt Elinor said.

"Fergus, we can catch up later as right now we need to finish the announcements." He nodded but the moment he turned back to the crowd, someone let out a scream and the battle started again, and he rushed to join them while Xiu giggled again until a hammer flew at Hadasa's head which I quickly caught.

"Please excuse me!" I then rushed in to join the brawl to find the one who threw the hammer at my wife.

3 minutes later

I'd been able to find the man who threw the hammer and was able to return it to him but not before using it to deliver a hard blow to his stomach and then join the fight. Now however, me and the clan leaders were being dragged back to the front of the hall with my Aunt pulling her husband and clan leader Macguffin by the ears with the other two clan leaders being held by them while Astrid dragged me back to the front of the hall by my ear. When we got to the front, all had quieted down and I knew we were in trouble when we got back to the front and tried to apologies alongside the other leaders but a glare from Aunt Elinor quieted us all down before she said.

"NOW THAT WE HAVE ALL GOTTEN THAT OUT OF OUR SYSTEM, LET US CONTINUE WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENTS." There were a few mutters but all quieted down when she raised her hands. "NOW, WE THE FOUR GREAT CLANS HAVE GATHERED HERE ONCE MORE SO THAT OUR VARIOUS MEMBERS WILL ONCE AGAIN BE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO BRING GLORY TO BOTH THEIR CLANS AND THEIR FAMILIES BY CLAIMING VICTORY IN THE GREAT GAMES!" Everyone cheered at this. "NOW TO THE FIELDS SO THE GAMES MAY BEGIN!" As soon as the words left her mouth, everyone began rushing out while Merida turned to us.

"Looks like we have a lot to catch up on." I nodded.

"That we do."

1 hour later

It's been an hour since the announcement for the games to begin happened and in that time, we'd been led out onto the fields where the games were being held and given thrones on the main stage with Uncle Fergus and his family. During the time on the stage they'd asked us a few questions about what had happened since we last saw each other, a few questions about Xiu like if she'd develop snake guardian abilities, how far the kids had come in their training and a few other things. One thing I did notice though was how Merida was looking at Young MacGuffin and he at her which made me smile for two reasons with the first being she might have found love and the second being it gave me something to tease her about in the future like she did with me. Aside from that, I'd also considered taking part in a few of the events but the lords begged me not to since I still hold the records on multiple events and if I partook in any then the men would either drop out of the events or try beat me until they collapse from exhaustion.

This stopped me from taking part in any of the events and the kids weren't going to take part in any of the events since Brant was still too young to take part in them while Chara wasn't allowed since she was a girl and she was also younger than Brant. Now I was walking around the games, enjoying the sights and events that were happening around me while my family enjoyed the events in their own ways but under the watch of my automatons. I chuckled at the sight of Brant and Chara, swiping a few pastries from Modi while she was busy being flattered by the wall of muscle belonging to clan Dingwall. While they did this, Astrid was walking with Hadasa through the crowds to enjoy the events while Blanca who was holding Xiu, remained with Aunt Elinor who was giving her a few tips on how to handle kids when they're toddlers and can run around playing while Zhang Yong remained at her side. The dragons however were giving everyone a little show up in the sky by doing some tricks up in the air which involved twists, turns, dives and a few blasts at targets the men threw up into the air.

I enjoyed the sight of my family enjoying themselves and couldn't help but chuckle when Modi noticed the kids swiping the pastries from the plate before they fled from her. I chuckled before I noticed Merida walking through the crowd with young MacGuffin who was speaking in his regular ancient tongue but she seemed to understand what he was saying an it was making her laugh and I knew from experience that always works with girls. It was clear as day to everyone that those two were falling in love and the next thing you know my family would be returning here for their wedding. It was then I noticed something through the eyes of one of my scouters and couldn't help but chuckle and then hold out my arm, swiping a plate of pastries being carried by Hamish who had Hubert and Harris at his sides. They looked at me in surprise as I smirked and said.

"Nice try boys but I've got eyes everywhere." They glared at me as Modi ran up before I handed her the plate of pastries and swiped one for myself as she smiled at me and then walked off while I turned back to my three cousins. "You should learn from my kids; they don't overdo it and escape when they see Modi is getting wise to what they're doing." They groaned and nodded before I smiled. "And like me, they know that when an opponent's guard is down is the best time to strike." I then pulled out three of my spiderpacks legs, each holding a pastry out to the boys who stared in shock before chuckling and each taking one. "Remember, Modi has known you boys for years, so she'll get wise to your old tricks, but the solution is to simply come up with some new ones and knowing you three, that won't be hard." They smiled before running off to cause havoc elsewhere as I asked myself. "What have I unleashed on this world?" I shrugged and walked away while enjoying the games and eating my pastry.

Nightfall

We were all in the great hall cheering and having a good time as everyone sung an old song about the demon bear Mordu and how he met his end under a giant stone column. We were all having a good time with Brant and Chara dancing around with some of the people closer to their age, my wives enjoying their meal while rolling their eyes at the drunk antics of the men alongside Aunt Elinor. As for Xiu, she was in the kids room, in a crib with Zhang Yong and my ninja guarding her even though I knew there wasn't much of a chance of a kidnapping attempt but it didn't hurt to be safe. It was then I felt a hand land on my shoulder and turned to see Uncle Fergus smiling down at me alongside the clan lords as he said.

"Hiccup, we all know you probably haven't been sitting around, twiddling your thumbs or just training your kids but gone on a few adventures." I nodded.

"Yeah, a few but I took a break when I found out Blanca was pregnant since I didn't want to be away if something happens or miss the birth." They nodded before Lord Macintosh said.

"Well then don't keep us waiting lad, use that hocus pocus you have to show us some of those adventures." There were cheers at this before I let out a sigh with a smile.

"Alright, I'll start now." I turned to Uncle Fergus. "I'll need permission from your superior first though." Uncle Fergus stared at me confused.

"Lad, I'm the king so I don't have a superior." I smiled.

"What about Aunt Elinor?"

"She's not my superior, she may be my queen but I'm the one running the show while my sweet Elinor helps out from time to time, but we all know I'm the one who's really in control." I smirked and he looked at me before frowning. "She's right behind me, isn't she?" I nodded as he turned to look at Aunt Elinor's disapproving look. "My queen I can-" She gave him a look and he slumped. "Yes dear!" He then made his way over to the throne as Aunt Elinor turned to me.

"Hiccup, you won't have to if you do not wish to but I'm sure everyone would appreciate finding out what you've been up to in the time you've been away." I smiled and nodded.

"Gladly, Aunt Elinor." I brought out my golden spider and began showing them the adventures I'd gone on since the last time I was here.

5 days later

It's been five days since we arrived, and those days had been spent enjoying a little down time with my family and my relatives which was pretty good. We'd enjoyed a couple of activities together like some strolls through the fields, enjoying some of the games, watching my uncle train the men which was more of him beating them senseless and of course more than a few hours spent up in the sky on our dragons. We ended up spending more time up in the sky together than expected but who could blame us since the lords had heard about my golden dragon armory through Brant and Chara when they asked about where they got their weapons and armor. They knew they weren't normal weapons after seeing Brant's spear used in a sparring match against some of the clan members who wanted to see how strong my adopted son was after training under me and my ninja for so long.

As expected, the Clan lords all wanted me to give them the chance to access to armory and see what they'd get, but I turned them down since the fewer people who knew the power of the weapons from my armory, the better. The reason for this is it would no doubt bring more than a few people to my island, who would want their own weapon from my armory and not all of them would intend to use them for good or to protect their people. The clan lords swore not to tell anyone where they got the weapons but I then told them that either way, them being in possession of these weapons would bring people after them and their clans which got them to back off for now but I could see the desire in their eyes. This is the first reason me and my family spent a lot of time up in the air, but we also did it to avoid a lot of the men who wanted to test themselves against us in combat.

Now I was on the back of Toothless and we were flying at full speed through the forest, dodging the trees and other obstacles for a bit of an adrenaline rush along with a bit of flight training. I admit I love my family, but I also loved it when it was just me and Toothless since it meant we could do some dangerous maneuvers that I couldn't do with my kids since they could be in danger while my wives wouldn't like it. I smiled at the feeling of the wind flowing through my hair and blasting into my face as Toothless soared through the air and I could tell he loved it just as much as I did. It was then a familiar sight caught my attention and I sighed before having Toothless as we came closer to it until we came to land in front of it and the familiar thing we'd come to land in front of was none other than 'The crafty carver' or the witches home. Toothless growled at it, but I smiled and rubbed his head as I said.

"I know bud but it wouldn't hurt to visit her and make sure she's not doing any spells and she might have something I could use like last time since I still use the items I bought from her last time and I could use some new doorstops." (AN: Last time was chapter 72 guys.) He just rolled his eyes. "Come on, she had some good items at reasonable prices last time, and it wouldn't hurt to just drop by to be nice when she's only got that crazy talking crow to talk to." He warbled as I smiled. "Don't worry bud, I'll be fine." He just lay down as I walked up to the door and walked in and was greeted by the smell of wood and multiple bear themed, wooden items before a voice from next to me said.

"Now here's a familiar face." I turned to my side and jumped in surprise when I saw the witch smiling at me. "It's been a while lad, and how have you been?" I smiled at her.

"I've been good, have a family now including a new baby girl." She smiled.

"If that's the case how's about this little beauty?" She pulled out a small wooden bear on a wooden plank with wheels. "A good gift for the wee one." I smiled and nodded.

"I'll take it but think I could take a stroll through the store to see what else you got." She smiled.

"Just holler if you see anything you like." I nodded and began browsing for anything I could use or the family might like.

1 hour later

We were on our way back to the castle and in my spiderpack were five new bear shaped doorstops, the toy the witch sold me and a large wooden bear head the same size as mine with a mouth that can be opened and closed, I figured I could use it to store my sugared dates in my private room. We came to land in the courtyard where some of the men were having a few sparring matches but stopped to greet us as we came into land in the middle of the courtyard. I smiled as I dismounted Toothless and began making my way to the castles Great hall to let everyone know we were back from our flight. I walked in to find my wives, talking with my Aunt Elinor and Merida with little Xiu sleeping soundly in Blanca's arms before they all turned to us as I smiled and said.

"We're back!" They smiled at me as Merida asked.

"Good flight?" I shrugged.

"Good as any other I guess." I grabbed an apple from a tray being carried by a passing servant who simply smiled and nodded. "Stopped by the Crafty Carvers and picked up a few things." Merida and Aunt Elinor immediately snapped their heads to me.

"You went ta visit the witch?" I nodded before she quickly stood up, throwing her chair back as she did so, waking Xiu up who began to cry as she rushed up to me and grasped my shoulders. "Ya didn't buy a spell from her did ya?" I shook my head.

"No but I did buy some nice doorstops, a toy for Xiu and a wooden box shaped like a bears head which I intend to use to store my sugared dates." She raised an eyebrow.

"Don't ya think your wives will get cramped in there?" I chuckled.

"Not them, it's a type of fruit that I enjoy snacking on from time to time."

"Is any of it enchanted?" I shook my head.

"No, I asked her not to put any magic on the items since I'd prefer they just be normal items that I can put around the house." She nodded.

"Good, I've tried her spell before, and they aren't things to be taken lightly."

"Yeah, I remember the story you told me and still can't believe it ended with your mother and brothers naked and surrounded by the great clans." Two voices laughed from above before one said.

"I'd love to hear how that happened." We looked up to see the voice belonged to Brant who was standing next to Chara and Twilight, both looking down at us from the railing of the upper floor as Aunt Elinor smiled.

"Then come down and we'll tell you." I nodded.

"Having heard it myself, I have to say it's a pretty good story." I then chuckled. "Especially the bit where all the clan members have to walk back into their castle without anything covering their lower bodies." I saw the kids smile before I turned to Blanca who was rocking a still crying Xiu. "But first, let's take care of little Xiu." I walked up to Blanca who gently passed her to me, and I began rocking her while shushing her and saying. "There, there sweetie, daddies here and he won't let anything hurt you." She calmed down a bit and stopped crying as I sat down and looked at Aunt Elinor. "Can you begin that story since this little one could use a nap time story." She smiled as the kids sat down with Twilight taking her place by Brant.

"Well it goes like this." She then began the tale of how she was turned into a bear by a spell Merida bought from the witch in the hopes of changing her fate from being married off to one of the sons of the clan lords.

Nightfall

The kids were in bed peacefully sleeping soundly and who could blame them since they'd laughed at so many parts of Aunt Elinor's story about how she'd been turned into a bear, especially when Merida told them about her reaction to eating nightshade berries and worm filled water. They especially loved the ending when Uncle Fergus had to take a rowboat after the ships to get the boys who had boarded one of the clan's ships that was leaving. I had to admit it was a pretty good story since it had a few funny moments, a bit of adventure and a good lesson about how we can choose our own fate if we're brave enough to look within ourselves to find it and see what it is. Now I was sitting in the Great Hall with my wives, Aunt, Uncle, cousins and the clan lords while we all enjoyed a drink and talk about what the plans for the future were. It was then Uncle Fergus turned to me and asked.

"So how many more days do we have the pleasure of you and your family being here with us lad?" I shrugged.

"I'd say another week if it's alright with you."

"Sure, you can't stay longer lad?" I shook my head.

"No, we need to head back so the kids can continue their training or else they'll run the risk of getting soft and if they do that, their training will be twice as tough until they're back to full strength." I saw Uncle Fergus and the lords shiver, and I couldn't blame them since they had watched me train under my ninja and knew how tough it was.

"That is something I can understand lad but still saying goodbye won't be easy." I nodded.

"The feeling is mutual Uncle Fergus." We then continued to chat, but the sadness remained, even though it was barely noticeable.

1 week later

We were all walking through the portal door leading back to our homes portal room and smiled at the sight of the familiar room since as much as I loved travelling but there was no place like home. I frowned remembering saying goodbye to my relatives and the three clan lords since as sad as the goodbyes were, this one was a little worse since Lord Dingwall had brought me into a hug and the man hadn't brushed his teeth or bathed in a week. I shook my head knowing it was time to unpack and settle back into our daily lives with me tending to the island, Blanca taking care of Xiu, Toothless acting as Alpha while raising Twilight, Astrid helping the Berk guard, Hadasa tending to the plants, the kids training under my ninja and Xiu just being adorable. Still though, it was nice to go on vacation and just enjoy myself with no worries or issues and it was also wonderful to see Brant and Chara take time off from being warriors in training to just being kids so we'd definitely be doing it again sometime, but for now I had things to do.

AN: I know it's not too exciting, but I felt Hiccups kids should have a chance to stop training and just enjoy a little down time and simply be kids since you're only young once. Anyway, two reviews for the last chapter, don't get me wrong I appreciate the reviews I have received but I'd appreciate a few more since I do love to read them since it helps me be a better writer. Anyway, please just leave me a review if you have the time and if you have any thoughts about where Hiccup will be off to next whether it be for adventure or vacation, just let me know and I'll see what I can do. Till then have a nice day and stay safe everyone.
