Moka's eyes opened slowly. She was a little groggy, but at least it didn't feel like she had the world's worst uti anymore. You had to take what little victories there were in the world as they came. She looked around as her vision cleared and didn't see anyone in the room, though she could hear them outside wherever the room she was in was. If she ever got her hands on that little bitch, she was going to hang her up by what ever little bit of tits she had and use her as a pinata.
She pressed her hand against her lower body. She was relieved when it was smooth and un-bandaged. That meant that Yukari had been at her, and removed all the shot. She was such an angel, a really, really horny angel, but an angel none the less. She owed her something after this, just hopefully she wasn't going to try to go through with her wants from their school life.
A door opened, and she heard Tsukune's voice, "Moka."
"Tsukune, I am so happy to see you. What happened after I went down, how did I go down," she wanted to know the truth.
"It was pure silver. Probably the purest they could get their hands on. Yukari is pretty sure that the fact that it was used for buckshot is the only reason that it was so effective on you. Look, don't worry about any of that now. I wanted to be the one to tell you. Yukari had to perform a hysterectomy due to the damage and where the shot had ended up. One she was finished pulling the pellets out your body immediately started healing, and it reformed your womb. She thinks, though she is going to perform a thorough examination, that with the old one being pulled out, the new one should be immaculate. Do you know what that means?"
She was silent for a second as it sank in, "It means there is a chance that I could, get pregnant again."
"It does. Now you won't like this part. No sake, no sex, for a month. You aren't allowed any combat or work related activities for two weeks. I want you to go stay with Mizore for those two weeks, the full month if you want. Well, saying I want it is a lie, but well, you know what would happen if we are together with nothing to do," her husband said.
"Yes, we will make rabbits look chaste. I don't like it, but a month with Mizore is hardly the worst thing in the world. How, is, how are the kids," she asked.
"Utsuki, is doing ok. Tekeshi, I don't know honestly. I am worried about his seal, that maybe something has changed it. I don't know what that could be though. He, completely lost it after you passed out. The twenty soldiers that came with Miss Cauley, he slaughtered them barehanded. It took him only minutes. He didn't change in appearance beyond his eyes, but I felt the fluctuations from his seal," he replied
"It wasn't related. That was him grieving, it's hard to explain. Did he, hurt anyone else?"
Tsukune shook his head, "Not that I know of. Regardless, I need to examine the seal entirely, instead of just the fast one I did after his fight with Deesseedra. It worries me that something may be able to modify what I put in place, and if that is possible. Are you really feeling ok?"
Moka chuckled lightly, "You have no idea how much I love the human side of you. I'm fine. God, no sex for a month. She must want to torture me or something, giving up sake is easier. Worse is being away from you for that long now. It's been a decade since I have been away from you for more than a few days, I don't know what a month is going to do to me."
Yukari chose that moment to walk in, "It won't kill you. God, you two are so weird. I know that I am actually enjoying having a break from living with Fang-fang. So I guess he gave you the rundown. I have a nurse bringing my scoping equipment, and the portable ultrasound to the room. Do you want Tsukune to stay, or go?"
"Yukari, he has had as good a look at my parts as you have. If he wants to stay, then he can. If not, I expect he will leave. I, uh, Yukari I have a question that I don't know if you actually have an answer to, but it may be important, and something that was overlooked," Moka looked down at her lower body.
"What is that," the younger woman asked.
"Will I have any eggs, since my womb regrew. I don't have the greatest knowledge, but aren't all the eggs a woman will have formed before birth? Would new ones have formed? I want to hope, but...," Yukari interrupted her.
"I actually looked into a couple of things regarding that before. I had come across the idea that a hysterectomy could be a, somewhat, safer option to the laser surgery. In fact, Nurari for some reason came along and noticed what I was looking into, and informed me that your mother's body had been almost completely destroyed multiple times before she became pregnant with you. I don't think that there is going to be much to worry about that there. I should have asked how he knew that, but something in the back of my mind told me not too,"she told the distressed vampire.
"That's a relief. Is no sex for a month really necessary? I mean, wouldn't you know after the two week...," Yukari cut her off.
"One month. No arguments. Moka, I know you are as horny as any woman would be with this hunk wearing the other ring, but not that much is really known about Shinsos medically. With the fact that there are now, three awakened we need that information. What if you do the same to save someone else, what if something happens to awaken Kahlua, we need to know just how all these mechanisms that restore your body work. Trust me, being apart that long, you are going to enjoy the reunion so much," Yukari giggled at the last statement.
Tsukune looked over at his wife, "She does have a point. Hey, you said Tekeshi was grieving earlier, but you didn't die. What was he grieving?"
Moka didn't answer immediately. She wasn't quite sure how to explain it, and didn't know if she could explain it well enough that Yukari would be able to help her. She wasn't that great with the mental stuff.
"Tsukune, you know that Tekeshi has always idolized me right," she asked.
Tsukune thought for a second, "Don't most boys? I kind of idolized my own mother as a child."
"Right, however, it is a little different. He not only idolized me, but the image he has built up of me. How many fights have I lost since he was born," she continued.
"None."
"And he knew that. I became almost like a Valkyrie in his mind. Martial perfection. He felt like nobody could defeat his mother. He just saw me get taken down by a little girl with a shotgun. He isn't mourning me, he is mourning the idea he has had of me all his life. Thankfully, he will be able to get over it, I just don't know how easily,"she finished explaining.
Yukari nodded, "It isn't unheard of for similar things to occur in other species. The worst can devolve into cases of Oedipus Syndrome, though I think that is outside the scope of Tekeshi's personality. At least I never got the impression he wanted to cuckold his old man."
"Yukari, what the hell," Moka said as the witch fell into a fit of cackling.
"I couldn't help myself. In all seriousness though, he will come out of it better since he has Utsuki. I do want him to have visits with me for the next few weeks just to make sure he is doing ok mentally. Oh, have you two been working on getting along with Tamiko," she asked as she got herself under control.
"Tsukune here is still resisting, but I am starting to. She isn't a bad person, she just had a really bad bit of luck. I know she has been having sessions with you, so I know she wants to get over the past she had, and wants to actually have a loving relationship with her daughter," Moka replied.
Yukari frowned, "I have never been fond of curses. To do something that can last a lifetime, is just, I really don't have a word to describe it. It's been hard going with her. She wants to improve, but her personality changes are so unpredictable, that I am almost at the end of what I can do. I have been talking to Utsuki about her interactions with her, and, it's much the same. I don't know what to do."
Tsukune was rather unsympathetic, "I say that the only thing to do is to let her deal with it herself. Who else can."
"Tsukune, you have to let it go. There were extenuating circumstances to them deciding to abandon her. At least they wanted to try to find a place where she would be safe. Regardless, you and Moka are her guardians. They gave up all their rights regarding her, to you. They have done what they thought was best. Forgive them and move on, remember there is a good chance they are going to be your son's in-laws," the witch was not about to let it rest on that note.
"Maybe they did, but she is their daughter. She isn't a thing to just be given away in fear or hate. They gave her life, that is something that parents must take responsibility for. They must guide their child into becoming the best that they can be, regardless of their feelings. If they have to give them away, then what are they worth as people," with that he stood and walked out, not willing to continue the discussion further.
"This whole situation has him really messed up, doesn't it,"Yukari asked when the door closed.
Moka nodded, "He thinks he isn't letting it show, but he can't hide it anymore. It's been getting worse since we found out about Ruby. I don't know about leaving him alone like this, I'm afraid without me around, he, he will lose whatever bit of sanity he is clinging to. Yukari, once again, is all this necessary considering what I am?"
"Unfortunately it is. Does he do anything but work anymore," the younger woman responded.
"Me, but that isn't the answer you are looking for. Not really. How would we get him to stop though. Without me he wouldn't be willing to go on a vacation. Wait a minute, Kyoko. He hasn't seen her for a long time, not with the whole Tibet thing she is involved with, maybe we can get him to go visit her for a month," Moka said as her mind stopped on the idea.
"She is in a Tibetan Monastery, not a Ritz Carlton. They don't really allow visitors that aren't there to join them. Of course, that might actually be a good place for him to clear his mind for a while. Do you have anyway to contact her even though," Yukari did see some wisdom in the suggestion.
Moka had to think for a while, "Not directly. I would have to contact the Japanese embassy, have them relay a message, and hope that she is able to get to a nearby vill... oh my phone's ringing. You have to be kidding me, she still has her phone active?"
"Who does?"
"You ever hear the phrase speak of the devil," Moka shook her head.
Yukari couldn't resist laughing, "You can't be serious, Kyoko is actually calling right when we actually need to talk to her. Well answer it."
"Moka speaking. Kyoko, how have you been. Yes, I can believe that, Tibet has a lot of cold areas, especially in the mountains. Oh, you are coming back. How do you get thrown out of a monastery? Weird mushrooms, and dancing naked in the halls. Well, that may do it, first question though is where did the mushrooms come from? A new convert. His parents sent him for what? So he didn't go to prison for molesting his classmates? What is this world coming to. Yes, you can stay at our place until you can get back to working and find an apartment. In fact, I am going to be staying with Mizore for a month due to an injury, and I wonder if you wouldn't mind if I sent Tsukune there to meet you so he can get a rest from the headmaster responsibilities. We haven't spoken to you in years, he will be happy to see you. I love you too Kyoko. Bye."
"She did what again," Yukari was trying to stifle laughter again.
Moka was smiling too, "Apparently some rich punk kid got sent to the monastery she was at after he got very inappropriate with some unwilling female classmates. He managed to smuggle some magic mushrooms with him, and in an attempt to get in her pants gave her some claiming they were a good snack. The kid doesn't get lucky, she loses her robe, and somehow mentally ends up in a dance club. Apparently she ended up giving the very shocked head priest, lama, whatever they call him, a very awkward lap dance. They then decided that she would be better off returning to her home country, and the kid was turned over to the authorities for smuggling illegal substances and attempted rape. Poor Kyoko, she really can't catch a break."
"Are we sure this is real life, because that sounds like a bad manga plot line. Still, even at your mansion it should help if he is getting to see some family that he hasn't seen in forever. I know how close they are. Isn't that jeep still here, Tekeshi could even go during a weekend and see her, he hasn't seen her in even longer. When you come back, it might be a good idea to get him back into a heavy training regimen with you. It might help him come to term with things," Yukari said quietly.
"I will, he needs it, I'm going to need it. I, am worried about his mental state, especially since it was his ex-girlfriend who shot me. I don't even know what that may be doing to him. It can't be anything good."
At some point the two teenagers had gone to get cleaned up, and then met back up in the clearing that had at some point just became their hangout. Tekeshi trained there, Utsuki and him took classes from Madonna there, and just went there when they had nothing else to do. It was mostly peaceful, which is why they they were there now. Even Deesseedra had taken the hint to stay in her and Utsuki's room.
Utsuki sat with her back against a tree, and Tekeshi was laying with his head in her lap. They weren't saying anything, not having anything they could think of. They were just enjoying each other's company. Tekeshi had started to calm down, and Utsuki wanted to make sure he didn't get worked up again for a while. Yet there was something she wanted to ask him, but didn't know how to.
"You have something on your mind," Tekeshi asked without opening his eyes.
"I do," she didn't elaborate on it though.
"Is it something about me," he prodded.
"Somewhat," she replied.
Tekeshi opened one of his eyes, "Is it about, what I did today?"
"No," she shook her head.
What she wanted to ask him, was to teach her to fight. She just didn't know how to ask him. He was her protector, and she knew he wouldn't want her to put herself in danger.
"'Suki, are you ok? It seems like this is really bothering you. What is it," his open eye locked on her face.
"I don't know how to ask, but, I, I want you to do something for me. Nothing dirty or anything like that. I, just...," she trailed off.
Tekeshi opened both eyes and sat up at this point, "You don't have to hurry. I don't plan to ever go far. When you are ready to ask, just ask."
She sighed, "I, want you to teach me how to fight for myself."
"Ah," Tekeshi looked at her sideways with one eye, "I don't think that I am the best person to do that. How I fight is more suited for a big, heavy person like myself or Heavy. I might could teach you a little bit of sword work, or even how to shoot a gun, but I really think you would be better looking for someone else to tech you to actually fight."
"Oh," she was a little disappointed with his answer, "Who would you suggest then?"
"I don't know. Maybe Madonna, or Anne. I don't want you to have any dealing with Tomoe and fighting. I am not looking forward to her returning to teaching me. Why all of a sudden though, you don't like fighting," he asked as he put an arm around her.
"Because I want to stand with you, I don't want to only ever rely on you. Ever since that first day I met you, you have always been protecting me. I'm changing, I am not the weak little human I was. I don't know how strong I am physically, or how strong I will get. I also don't know if it is making me tougher. I want to find out though, and I want to be able to protect myself when you aren't around so you won't have to worry," she pressed into his side, loving the feeling.
Tekeshi took a deep breath, "I understand. Maybe Deesseedra ate a martial artist at some point. I just, I don't think that I am the right person. Hey, turn this way."
"Wh..." the deep kiss surprised her.
It was just as good as the first time by the stage. Everything seemed to cease around her. She didn't care if she never came up for breath, and passed from life in the arms of the man she loved. This was something she never thought she would ever have in her life. Never even have a chance at.
They finally broke the kiss and looked into each other's eyes, "Utsuki, I don't care if I have to protect you for the rest of time. You mean more to me than anyone else, and you know how loyal I am to those I feel belong to me. My sword, will always be there for you. I am bound to you even beyond how much I love you, and even if you told me not to, I would stand for you."
"I know. I just, wait, I belong to you? So am I your property," she said giggling.
"There is nothing more valuable that I possess."
