Chapter Sixty Seven

Dean fell forward as his body quaked. He had just came harder than he think he had ever. He wanted to lay there and never move. But he couldn't, he was laying atop of Angel, still inside her.

With a low moan, Dean pulled himself away so that he was once again sitting on his knees. Only to groan as he looked down at Angel who was still panting. Her skin was flush, her lips and nipples were swollen and that spot between her legs was drenched and pouting.

Beautiful. "Are you ok?" He asked her as he moved a piece of her long hair out of her face.

With a small smile on her sleepy face, Angel nodded. "I'm good." Her voice was raspy from her screams of pleasure. Dean gave a smirk. She must have noticed before she tried to clear her throat. "I'm really good…"

Dean chuckled. "Need some water?"

She nodded. "Please…" Her eyes started to fall again.

Taking a deep breath, he forced his eyes away from the woman in front of him and dropped them to his member which was still semi hard in the used condom. Gritting his teeth, he pulled the thing off, trying to ignore just how sensitive he was.

After playing around with the thing to make sure that nothing went horribly wrong, Dean put the thing back in its wrapper and took it with him as he left to go get that drink that he promised Angel.

As he walked, he rolled his shoulders, cracked his neck and did a few squats to get his knees to pop. He felt like he just came out a hard fight and it felt great. He felt great. He loved the soreness that filled his being as he tossed the condom away and grabbed a glass from his cupboards.

He started to hum a song that he didn't know the words for, probably one that he heard in the locker room at one point. He filled the cup and brought it back to his room.

His heart twist in his chest as he saw Angel rolled up in a ball, in his bed, naked. It was a sight that he wanted to stare at forever. However, Angel gave a small cough and reality hit him again.

Quickly he walked over to the side of the bed. "Angel."

"Uh?" She mumbled into her own arm.

"Water."

"Oh."

He watched as she lazily pushed herself from the bed and put her hand out. He put the glass in her hand and made sure she had a good grip on it before he let go. She brought it to her face and took a sip. Dean smirked as some of the water dripped down her chin.

After using the back of her hand to wipe the water away, Angel help out the cup for him; which he took and chugged the rest. He then placed the empty glass on the floor next to him before climbing into the bed to snuggle with the woman who was trying to get comfortable.

Letting out a deep breath, he pulled her into his arms and tucked her head under his chin. Which earned him a long deep sigh from Angel who pressed herself back against him.

Smirking, Dean let himself drift peacefully to sleep.

The loud obnoxious noise of his alarm woke Dean from the best sleep that he had in a long time. With a snarl, he stretched himself the best he could to reach over and turn off the alarm.

After the noise stopped, he turned around and looked at the small brunette that was laying on top of his other arm. Snickering at her messy hair and sleepy face, Dean slowly maneuvered her around so that he could slip his sleeping arm out from under her.

Once he was free, he heard Angel give a sleepy moan as she rolled towards him. "What time is it?"

"I'm just getting up for my run, go back to sleep." He told her with a small kiss to the forehead.

"Have fun." Her words slurred together as she snuggled back under the blankets.

Dean couldn't help but watch her as her breathing evened and her face relaxed. Knowing that he was smiling like a fool, Dean turned away to get himself ready. He grabbed both his sweatpants and running shoes out of his bag, took a piss and grabbed on of reusable water bottles from the kitchen. After making sure that he had his phone and headphone, he made his way outside.

As soon as he got out into the desert morning air, he drew in a deep breath. Home sweet home. He gave his neck a crack and started his stretches. When his sore body was ready to go, he popped in his headphones and turned on his workout playlist. He picked a song that seemed to fit his mood, and took off down the road, letting autopilot take over.

When Dean's music turned into his ringtone, he moved over on the side of the road and pulled out his phone. Glancing at the screen, he answered it. "Hey Ro."

"Mornin'" Roman said his voice sounding gruff.

"What's up, man?"

"Not much, just enjoying the time with the family. You?"

"I would say same, but you know." He said as he started to walk the rest of the way home.

Roman chuckled. "Yeah, I know. Did you at least have a good night?"

"Yeah." He smirked as he thought back to his night. There might have been some awkward moments but all and all the night was great, amazing really. "It was good."

"Oh, just good?" There was something in his voice that said Roman was trying to say something without saying it.

"Yeah, why?"

"I thought your night would be better than good, since Angel is with you."

Dean stomach turned as he changed his hold on his phone. "Ah, so that explains the early morning call." He sighed. "Should I expect a call from Seth as well?"

"Wow, don't get pissy. Seth doesn't know." Roman quickly answered back. "And the only reason I know is because I just happened to glance over to see Angel opening the email that confirmed her trip to Las Vegas, and I didn't think she was the type of girl that would go to the strip by herself."

Dean clench his phone so tight he was surprised when he didn't feel it crunch under his palm. Even though his relationship with Angel was now out in the open and had been for a while know, he didn't like the thought that either Seth or Roman knew that he and Angel were spending the break with each other. It meant that they knew too much.
"So, did you call to get all the nasty details? Did you? I won't tell you everything, but I will say that Angel is laying naked in my bed after a night of me worshiping her body." He started to yell, when he got a weird look from a random old lady who was getting her paper. Great.

"Dude, I didn't call to get you railed up." Roman sighed.

"Yeah right."

"I didn't."

"Then what did you call for?"

"Can't a guy call his best friend to say hello."

"Not when it's you and me, and not when I've had my girlfriend sleep over for the first time." He said making the same old lady look up at him again.

"Dean."

"Roman."

"Man, I was just checking to see how everything went." Roman sounded grave. "And to make sure everything is ok."

Dean drew his brows together. "Why wouldn't it."

"Because…you know…you're you."

It too a moment for Dean to realize what Roman was talking about but as soon as he did, he let out a growl-like noise. "Ro, I thought we already had this talk."

"We did."

"Then why are you bringing it up again."

"Because like you said this is the first time your girlfriend has slept over."

"Ok?"

"Dean, don't you realize what a big step you just took. You said before that you weren't sure about all of this and I just don't want to see either of you two hurt."

Realization hit him harder than a sucker punch to the head. "You still think that I'm going to hurt her. After all this time?"

"I don't…I'm just worry about you maybe change your mind and…"

"Hurt her."

"A lot has changed in such a little time; I just don't want you to start freaking out over all this. I mean you've never reacted so well to change and relationships."

"You don't think I know that!" Dean yelled. "That's not new, what is new is the fact that you went from being ok with me and Angel to this again. What happened?"

"I'm scared that now that you two had sex, you'll realized that your attraction to her was merely a physical one and that you'll regret everything…" Roman barked back.

Another sucker punch to the face. "You think that I'm only attracted to Angel because I wanted to have sex with her?" He gritted his teeth. "Really? You think that I've done everything I have in the last few months because I wanted to fuck her?"

"Dean…"

"No, no, no! You don't get to smooth talk yourself out of this one. Goddam my brother, thinking about it, you think I would let my world turn upside down for sex?"

"I'm not saying that." Roman stated quickly. "I'm just worried. Remember I knew before you met Angel, I know how you can be."

"And you think I'm going to go back to that?" Yet another slap.

"It wasn't that long ago that you were 'that'." Roman reminded him. "And like I said, I just don't wanna see either of you get hurt. You or her."

"Not going to happen."

"I hope your right."

So, did he.

"You're supposed to have my back man, I understand you're worried, I really do." Deep down even he worried about hurting her. "But this is fucked up, I just a great night with an amazing girl and you had to call and ruin it. Did you ever think that possibly remind me of how I used to be and the fact that I'm not good with all this, might be the worse thing to do? As my best friend, I expect you to be there to pick up my pieces not remind me that I easily fall apart."

By the end of his rant he was seething and didn't want to hear Roman's rebuttal. "So fuck you, I'll see you on Friday."

Dean hung up the phone with such a force that he was surprised when his phone didn't go flying from his hand.

Goddamn it. He yelled in his head as he ran his fingers through his hair. Taking a moment to swig his water to rinse his dry mouth, he started back for home. But not without a heavy mind.

He knew that Roman was only looking out for his and Angel's wellbeing, but it hurt to know that his best friend was still scared that he was going to fall back into his old ways. That all he was after with Angel was a fuck, a fuck and run.

Hadn't he proved himself?

He thought he did. He took it slow with the woman, when he wanted her from day one. He could have had her on their first date when she was drunk, but he walked away. And he wasn't a stranger to the whole drunk fucking. Hell, even the fact that he took her on a date was something that he thought put a tally in his column.

Though the more the thought about it, the more his chest started to clench.

It wasn't a secret that he was a creature of habit. He might be one of the most unpredictable fighters when in the ring, but say it once, say it a thousand times, he didn't like change. So why would it be such a big leap to think he might go back to the way he was? Back to what he knew so well.

Slowing his pace even more as he let out a sigh. He was starting to feel bad about yelling at Roman, he was in the right to be worried. Dean had never been in a serious relationship, so it must be a little strange for his brother-in-arms to come to terms with. But it still pissed him off that Roman thought he was only after Angel for her body.

When have you been after more? He asked himself as he debated calling Roman back to apologize.

In all the time that Roman and he had known each other, Dean had never been after more than just a piece of ass. He didn't want the messiness that came with feelings, didn't want to work on his trust issues. But then Angel showed up and all that went out the fucking window which apparently not only confused him but Roman as well.

Scratching his growing beard, his mind quickly changed to the woman that was waiting for him at home. She had messed up his world so much, made him think and do things that he didn't even think he was capable of.

When that familiar claustrophobic feeling hit him, Dean sighed as he put a hop in his step to help work out the feeling. This feeling was why he didn't like change, didn't like getting close to people.

When anyone asked about his ticks or the way he felt. Telling him it was like claustrophobia was the easiest way he could describe it. Though people got the wrong impression because he wasn't scared of small or crowded places. Although he didn't really like being in them but that had to due more with his size than anything else.

And though he couldn't really say what triggered it or what the feeling truly was, he knew that he had it ever since he was younger and that his way of dealing with it changed with time.

When he was younger, he would run away any time he felt it creeping up on him. Didn't care what he was in the middle of, school, work or just chilling at home, it didn't matter. As soon as his chest grew tight, he was out.

When he almost screwed up his whole life and walked out on a training session way back when, he realized that running away wasn't an option anymore, he needed to find other ways to get around it, hence the chest rubbing and the twitching. If he would have known that they would have become permit, he might have thought of cooler ways of working out his feelings. But hey, the fans seemed to like it. Added to his lunatic persona.

As quick as the feeling hit him, it went away as his mind rolled from the change that Angel had brought into his life to her face. Her beautiful face that seemed to always carry a blush and a smile. Her tantalizing hazel eyes that held her emotions so raw that it was anyone looking at them could feel them too. Her little nose that flared when she was mad. And god her lips, soft and pink. However, Dean preferred them glossy, swollen and red from his own lips.

He didn't care what came with his and Angel's relationship because he would never regret it. Never.

A.A.A

Angel sighed as she rolled over in the bed, her sore body complaining as went from her back to her stomach. As she let her eyes open, so many thoughts rolled through her mind. What time was it? Where was Dean? Was there anything in this apartment to eat?

Slowly stretching herself out, trying to rid of the tension in her limbs. Her back cracked, her arms were sore, and her legs shook and felt like she had gone on a ten-mile hike the night before.

A deep chuckle hit her and she turned around on the bed than her body wanted to. When her eyes landed on soft blue ones she relaxed. "Dean?"

"Were you expecting someone else?" He raised a brow.

She shook her head as she sat up on the bed. "Just didn't realize you were there."

"I just got back." He told her as he sauntered up in his sweatpants and hoodie. Was there anything that this man didn't look good in? She wondered as she watched him sit down on the side of the bed.

His eyes seemed to run from her face down her body, but not in a hungry lusty way more like he was checking her over. When his eyes stopped for a moment, he sighed. "How do you feel?" He asked as he reached out and touched her thigh.

A spark of both pain and warmth shot through her as she looked down to see Dean's fingers slowly grazing against a dark bruise. "Dean, it's fine." She smiled at him, knowing that he was worried about 'hurting' her. "A small bruise is worth last night."

With that his eyes flashed up towards her and he smirked. "Oh? You enjoyed yourself?"

"Did you hit your head, you were there last night, you didn't hear me?"

The smirk on his face grew. "Oh, I heard you. I think my entire building heard you."

She blushed at the thought and gave his arm a smack. Though before she could say anything, Dean chuckled and jumped to his feet. "Hungry?" He asked.

"I could eat." She told him as she swung her legs over the side of the bed, realizing that she was still completely naked. "but first I'm going to get dressed."

"Awe." Dean whined. "I thought I was going to get the pleasure of seeing you naked all day."

She shook her head as she stood on her wobbly legs and made her way over to where Dean had put their bags. Rummaging through them, she grabbed out a pair of jeans and a T-shirt that she had picked up on one of her shopping trips with Renee. It was a black shirt with three wolves howling at a moon.

Dean raised his brow at it as she quickly got a pair of underwear and a bra out as well. "What the hell is that."

Angel sighed. "Renee made me get it. Said that it reminded her of the Shield."

"I got that." Dean sighed.

After getting dressed, she followed Dean out of the bedroom and into the living room, where she saw a box of Dunkin Donuts sitting on the table. "Dunkin?" She questioned.

"Don't like it?"

"No, I do, I just don't think I've had Dunkin Donuts since joining the WWE."

"Thought I would spoil you." Dean laughed.

Angel opened the box and looked at her bounty, before picking out a crème filled one and slumping into the couch. Dean followed her movement, before wrapping one arm around her shoulder. "So, what's on the agenda today?" She asked.

"Whatever you want to do." He said as took a bite of his chocolate frosted donut of choice.

Angel leaned back and thought about it. Whatever she wanted? This was her first time in Vegas, there was so much she wanted to do. But then again, she didn't know anything about the area. She just knew that there was a lot more than just the strip to check out. But she didn't know what or where.

However, she did have a local as tour guide today. "I want you to take me to your favorite place."

"You get to choose, and you still make me pick?" He chuckled. "How do you do that?"

"I'm gifted." She smirked.

Dean pursed his lips as if he was thinking about her request. "Alright, but if we're going to do this. You're going to want to get changed into something a bit lighter."

Angel looked down at herself. Lighter.

After eating, Dean took her once again in that wonderful car of his through the back roads of Las Vegas, until there was nothing around them expect desert. He then pulled up to a spot that had a few other cars parked in it.

"Ready?" He asked.

"I hope so." She was second guessing her choice as she climbed out of the car in the hot sun. Dean joined her after grabbing his backpack and two water bottles out of the trunk.

"Here." He tossed her one of them before strapping the bag on.

Catching the thing, Angel turned around to see a huge mountain of red rocks across the wide desert road. "What are we doing here?"

Dean came around and pointed at the mountain. "Rock climbing." Angel swallowed hard as she looked at the mountain in front of her. "Don't worry, it's not that high."

"I mean you are six foot four and I'm five two, there's a big difference between what I think is too high."

Dean laughed as they started to lead her across the street. "It's not that hard of a climb."

"What about for someone who's really never rock climbed?" She asked still staring at the huge pile of rocks.

He shook his head. "Angel, it's really not that bad."

"Promise?" She finally glanced away from the mountain and looked at the man walking beside her.

He threw his free arm around her. "I promise."

Dean kept to his promise to her at first. The climb was pretty easy, like climbing really tall steps but after a while her legs started to twitch and started to feel like jelly.
"Just a little farther." He laughed as she stumbled on her hands and knees. "It will be worth it."

"I hope so." She sighed as she took his hand to get up an even higher step.

A few more steps up and Dean leaned against one of the large rocks. He handed her the water bottle with a smirk on his face.

When she cocked her head at him, he pointed over her shoulder. Sipping the water, she turned around and the air was knocked from her lungs.

"So, was it worth it?"

"Wow." She stared at the scene in front of her. It was amazing. She could see for miles of red, orange, and yellow sands that led up to the red clay mountains that wrapped around then. It was so peaceful.

"You asked me to take you to my favorite place well this is it." Dean walked up beside her.

She leaned against him. "Alright it was worth it."

Just then her muscle twitched, and she had to shift her weight all to one leg. Which he must have noticed because he wrapped his arm around her and lead her back to the rock that he was leaning against before.

D.D.D

Dean's body went tense as Angel leaned against him. His eyes darted over to see her looking out at his favorite view with half lidded eyes. And for the first time since Roman called him his brain seemed to turn off and relax.

At this moment he realized two things, one the man he once was, was dead and he had a new favorite view.
