Edward!?
The day at the Cullens was really nice. We watched movies and talked a lot.
I didn't even have to use my note to communicate, thanks to Jo. That was really practical.
But I also thought a lot about Edward that day.
What did I have to lose?
"Nothing ... report to him!", Jo informed me.
Alice, Rose and Esmé looked at me hopefully. We were just sitting together on the couch in the living room.
So I made a decision. I took my cell phone out of my pocket.
Hello Edward,
please don't worry. I'm not mad at you for not being able to tell me. But I think maybe we should talk when you get home from hunting. Have a good time.

I saw that Alice, Rose and Esmé had gotten up to read what I was writing. Jo was still holding my other hand, so he saw it in my mind.
I pressed 'send' and looked at the relieved faces of the others.
"That was a good decision, Bella. He really loves you! And that you want to talk is only understandable. He knows that too!"
Had Alice just said that Edward loved me?! Wow ... I had already heard Jo say it when he showed me the situation at the airport. But Alice saying it now made me kind of happy. Yes happy that it was so obvious - after all she was his sister.
Then, when I saw the confirmation in Esmé and Rose's eyes, I couldn't help it - I started to beam.

And now everyone began to beam around the bet.
Yes ... Jo was right. I think I really love him.
When my cell phone vibrated a short time later and I quickly opened the text message, the girls were behind me again, reading along.

Of course we will talk. I'm really sorry. I wanted to tell you myself, I just didn't know how. I hope you're not mad at me for finding out this way. And don't worry about me reading minds - yours are more than sweet.

'The door, Bella!' Jo interrupted my thoughts and I looked at the patio door.

I jumped up, let go of Jo's hand, and ran into Edward's arms.

We went into his room together and lay down on his bed, I snuggled up to him as close as I could.
I was about to reach for my piece of paper and write something.
"Bella, you don't have to write anything on a piece of paper. Already forgotten, I can read minds!"

Edward chuckled.
"I'm so sorry, Bella! Really, I wanted to tell you all along. I was just afraid that you would run away from me, not want me anymore, or worst of all be afraid of me."
'How could I be afraid of you, Edward. I love you! Besides, I have known for a long time that there are also good vampires. After all, Jonath saved me.'
We continued to talk all afternoon.
When I asked Edward why he was back from hunting so early, he told me that he was in a hurry because he really wanted to see me again.
That made me very happy once again.
When asked why he came to my room at night, he replied, somewhat ashamedly, that he liked to watch me sleep.
I couldn't really be mad at him for that! Then an idea came to me ...
"Do you really want me to?" asked Edward immediately.
Less than ten seconds later, Alice was standing in his room.
"Bella, I already called Charlie and told him we were having a slumber party. I also told him that the men would not be home for the weekend. Charlie was thrilled and suggested you stay over until Sunday, and I could see you'd be happy about it, so I agreed. I'll head over to your place really quick to get your stuff. You two cuties just lie here quietly!"
I was speechless, Edward chuckled.
"Yeah, she's always like that, Bella!" he said.
Alice had already disappeared again!
"Are you really okay with this," he asked hesitantly.
'I would love nothing more, Edward.'
This weekend seemed to be the most beautiful of my life.
Edward looked like he was glowing inside, he was so radiant!
I had to chuckle, then I kissed him stormily.
