Chapter Seventy Two

Tears brimmed in Angel's eyes. Dean Ambrose had just lost his United States Championship to Sheamus because of a twenty-man elimination match. She knew that the odds Dean was going to end up coming out on top of this match was slim, but when he was down to just a few men left in the ring she had hoped. But in the end Dean was the last one to be sent tumbling over the top rope.

Wiping the tears from her eyes and ignoring the pain in her ankle, she quickly made her way over to where Dean was laying on the floor. She almost felt to her knees as her eyes ran up and down him. The man hadn't moved since he had been hit with a Brogue Kick to the head and tossed over the ropes.

"Hey." She called down to him. "Dean?"

Taking a lot longer when she would have liked, Dean stirred with a groan as he opened his eyes and looked around. Grunting, he gave his head a small shake and brought his hand up to his face to see if he was bleeding.

When he pulled his hand back, a dark look crept onto his face. One that she expected but at the same time sent chills down her spine. After another shake of his head, Dean moved to push himself up off the floor and Angel quickly reached out to help.

As soon as her hand touched his skin, Dean froze for a moment before he ripped out of her hold and push himself up to his feet faster than she thought he could have. But she couldn't move to stop him, all she could do was stare and blink as he lumbered himself into the ring, followed by both Seth and Roman.

He's angry. She reasoned with herself even as she felt a ping of pain in her chest. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she turned herself towards the men in the ring and sighed as she watched Seth and Roman trying to calm down an almost hyper ventilation Dean Ambrose.

It looked like they weren't even making a small dent in the anger that covered the man's face as he glared at Sheamus who was holding the US title over his head while backing up onto the stage.

"What were you supposed to do?" Seth asked as Dean hit the mat with his fist. "You were this close, it was a good match."

Bow down to the, bow down to the game.

The crowd went nuts when Triple H's theme hit. Boos, cheers, and chants filled the arena.

Not sure what to expect, Angel quickly got off the floor and rolled her way into the ring behind the boys, getting to her feet just in time for the COO himself to make his way out into the stage with mic in hand.

"Last night, Evolution and The Shield engaged in an unforgettable war." Hunter started as he stared down at them. "And at the end of it, you four were extremely lucky."

"Lucky?" Seth called out. "That wasn't luck. I didn't throw myself off the stands because of luck."

"Since Ambrose has just lost his US Championship it looks like your luck is changing…"

Cringing at the salt that was just thrown into Dean's wounds, she glanced up at Dean who was leading against the ropes, mumbling cruses and things that she didn't even dare to repeat under his breath.

"…And the fact that at the end of the night tonight the three of you are going to be in six-man competition against the Wyatt Family, I'd be willing to say, your luck has run out."

As soon as they stepped backstage, Angel watched as Dean's anger exploded to the point that even Seth and Roman gave the man a wide birth. Which she didn't blame them, the man was rabid. Swinging his arms everywhere, he knocked over one of the tables that held bottle waters for the fighters and threw a metal chair across the hallway.

He let out a yell that made her jump and swung his whole body around before smashing his fist into the wall a few times, breaking open a couple of his knuckles.

She turned to look at Seth and Roman who were cleaning up their teammates mess. Taking a deep breath, she grabbed the bottle of water that had rolled closest to her and walked over to where Dean was leaning against the brick wall. Her eyes locked onto his bleeding hand that he was using to wipe his face with.

"Hey." She gave him a small smile. "Thirsty?" She shook the water in front of his face. The man didn't move, didn't even look down at her. "Um, I'll just leave this here." She sighed as she placed the water by his foot.

Standing there next to him, she looked back up at his hand. She knew that this was the worse time to even mention him getting it looked at or at least bandaged up, but she also knew that he should at least get some ice on it before the match with the Wyatts.

"Hey, I know you're not in a talking mood." She told him. "But you really should ice that." She pointed up to his hand. Nothing. Not even a grunt came from the man. "Dean?"

"I got it! Alright?" He barked as he dropped his hand off his face, his eyes snapping her for a split second before hitting the ceiling.

Angel's heart leaped a bit at Dean's nasty tone, but she waved it off. She knew he was angry, knew that he could get this way and knew that it was the wrong time to push him. "I'll get you an icepack." She mumbled to herself as she pushed herself down the hallway.

After grabbing two icepacks, one for him and one for her; Angel met them down in catering as Roman told her to do.

"Babygirl!" She heard Roman call to her as she walked into the room. Turning, she saw both Roman and Dean sitting there at a table that was as far in the corner as possible. Which was probably for the best.

"Thanks for eating without me." She picked as she plopped herself down in the empty chair next to Dean.

"Sorry, the stomach called and we had to answer."

"Where's Seth?"

Roman shrugged his shoulder. "He said he had to take a phone call."

She nodded her head and glanced over at Dean who was sitting there, leaning on his good hand while the other one played with some chips that were left on his plate. "Here." She placed one of the icepacks next to him.

She then leaned forward and grabbed the nearest vacant chair, pulling it closer so she could prop her foot up on it. There was a rush of relief as she undid her boot and placed the second icepack on her throbbing ankle. After getting used to the coldness that was seeping into her sock, she turned to look back at Dean only to see that the man hadn't moved at all and that the icepack was still sitting where she had put it.

Biting her lip, she debated whether or not she should push him anymore. "Are you just going to let it melt?" She tried to laugh a little bit.

Nothing.

He needed to ice those knuckles, or he was going to have a bad time during their match with the Wyatts. "Dean?" She reached out for the man only for him to rip away from her for the second time that night. Only this time he stood up as quickly as he could, knowing his chair over as he did.

"Imma get some air." He bit out as he ran his fingers through his hair.

Angel froze as she watched her boyfriend stomp away from her, only breaking her gaze when she heard Roman sigh.

"God damn it, Dean." He rubbed his hand over his beard.

She put up her hand. "Its fine, I should have known better. We all know how he can get." She remembered back to the last time he said he was going to 'get some air' only for him to disappear for hours, when she found him drunk off his ass in the hotel bar.

"He's one hell of a bastard when he's pissed off." Roman agreed. "He likes to get stuck in his head and take things to a whole new level, but he shouldn't be taking it out on you of all people."

As Roman stacked their plates up on top of each other, sigh echoed near the table. Hoping that it was Dean coming back, Angel spun around the best she could in her chair only to see Seth standing there like there was something on his mind.

"Seth?" She questioned worrying about what the phone call might have been about. She hoped that everything was ok at home.

"Huh?" He glanced up.

"You alright man?" Roman asked.

He gave a slow nod. "Yeah, where did asshole go?" He pointed to the chair that Dean was sitting in a one point.

"He needed 'some air'." Roman told him.

"Ah." Seth sat down. "You think he'll be up for the match against the Wyatts?"

"With him, who the hell knows." Roman sighed. "I just hope that he hasn't left the arena."

Luckily, he hadn't. Right before their match was about to start, he came waltzing down the hallway, looking like the 'air' he had gotten didn't help at all. Well at least he was back and looked like he was ready to go.

However, he wasn't the only one who seemed off. Angel glanced over to Seth. Ever since he came back from his 'phone call' seemed to be deep in thought.

She just hoped that both men could shake what was going on in their heads for the sake of the match tonight.

"We're here." She heard the start of the Wyatt Family's theme hit as the arena grew dark.

This was it. She glanced around at the boys. Yet another match with the Wyatts.

Seth and Dean lined up as they waited for the music to cut off. Angel went to follow suit only to be stopped by Roman once again. "Want a ride?" He asked as he crouched down in front of her.

At first, she was going to say no but when she took a funny step to turn to face the man, pain spiked up. "Thanks." She said with a blush as she climbed up on the man's back.

Out of the corner of her eyes she could have sworn she saw Dean glance over at her but when she looked back at the man, he's eyes were fixed right ahead of him. Strange.

Roman must have noticed it too because he gave her good leg a squeeze and turned his head up to her the best he could, giving her a look of apology for his best friend.

The Shield's theme started, and they made their way through the crowd for the second time today. This time wasn't as rushed as the first, but still Angel felt like she was getting whiplash as she bounced on Roman's back.

Unlike their first time out, when they got to the barricade, Dean didn't come back to help Roman get her over the barricade. Letting out a huge sigh, the Samoan turned around so that she could sit on top of the thing, before he jumped over and quickly helped her down.

"I'm good from here." She told him as she limped along the outside of the ring.

She felt Roman watch her for a moment as she made her way to the steel steps under where Seth had climbed the ropes. Even though Dean didn't say anything about it she was pretty sure that WrestleMania rules were in play.

Which she was fine with. Every time these six men got into the ring together, where was strange feeling in the air, one that you could cut with a knife and one that made her hair stand up on end.

Sitting down on the steel steps she got herself comfortable as she watched the boys stare down the Wyatts.

The match hadn't even started when the Wyatts rushed across the ring and started the attack on the Shield. The brawl didn't stay in the ring for long as Seth and Roman took both Harper and Bray to the outside and tossed them around for a bit. Leaving just Dean and Rowan in the ring.

With only two left in the ring, the ref called for the bell to ring and the match started with Rowan racking Dean's face. That dark look that had been on Dean's face the entire night came back full force as he grabbed Rowan by the beard and pulled him to the corner.

He then jumped up on the second rope and started to wail on Rowan over and over, only stopping when Rowan pushed him off. Landing on his feet, Dean went back in for the attack only to picked up for what looked to be a Powerslam. One that Dean was able to get out of.

With a growl like noise, Dean took out Rowan's leg with a punch to the back of the thigh before using the moment to tag in Seth.

Angel watched as Dean got out of the ring only after holding Rowan for Seth to land a punch to the gut and she noticed two things. One, his eye landed on her only to snap quickly away again and two, his right hand was swollen and bruised from hitting the wall earlier, just like she feared.

She made mental note to make sure he iced it tonight and not to take no as an answer.

Looking back up to the match, Rowan had tagged out to Harper. The greasy looking man grabbed Seth and tried to hit him with a suplex, but Seth counted as he flipped himself around and landed on his feet. A small smirk appeared on his face as he backed up quickly so that Dewan could tag right back in.

As Dean hopped over the ropes, Seth gave Luke Harper a kick to the gut making him bend over before both he and Dean grabbed him for a Double Suplex. The two didn't stop there, while Harper laid on the mat, Seth quickly took off, used the ropes for momentum and landed a knee the man's face before Dean hit him with an arm drop not even seconds after.

Pin and a kick out.

Strangely as Harper got to his feet, instead of trying to drag Dean back to his corner, the man rammed Dean right into the Shield's corner, which judging by the looks on Seth and Roman's face confused them as much as it confused her. This was the last place the man wanted to be.

Which was proven as Roman tagged off of Dean who was struggling to get Harper off him, making Roman the legal man and anything that was happening to Dean almost pointless at this point.

Getting into the ring, Roman hit Harper with a huge upper hand making him yell out. Then after dealing a little bit more punishment on the crazy eyed man, Roman tagged Seth in.

Quick tags just like normal. She nodded to herself. Maybe this was going to be just another six man tag match…though with Bray involved who knew.

The match got turned around and now it was manhandled Seth. Hit after hit before he finally hit him with a Suplex and went for the pin. Seth kicked out at two.

Apparently annoyed with his lackies' work, Bray ordered Harper to tag him in. Which the man did. Now it was Bray and Seth in the ring. And the whole match turned into a slow beat down of the poor man.

Bray kicked Seth in the gut and Seth screamed out. Angel clenched her hands as she watched Seth flip around while holding his gut. After last night, that hit must have had his ribs signing and his stomach flipping.

Smartly, Seth rolled out of the ring and landed on the floor on all fours. The urge to go over and check on him racked her but between the fact that she had put herself in WrestleMania rules and that by the time she got over there the match would have changed, she stayed right where she was on the steel steps.

And it was a good think she did because Bray instantly got out of the ring and threw Seth back in.

"Come on Seth!" She called to her teammate who was lying face down on the mat, looking at if he was still trying to catch his breath.

Another failed pin and Bray tagged out.

Rowan entered the fray with a headbutt before pushing Seth back into a corner. However, they were only there for a second as he then Irish Whipped the man across the ring. When the big man tracked after Seth, Seth was able to get his foot up in the last second kicking Rowan in the chest.

As if that hit ignited something in Seth, he jumped up onto the second time and leaped for what looked like a Cross Body or a Neck Breaker only to be caught by Rowan. Seth called out t both Roman and Dean as he tried to tag out before Rowan put him over his shoulder.

Angel smiled to herself as Seth push himself out of the hold and hit Erick Rowan with an Enzuigiri.

Seth tagged out to Dean before rolling out of the ring.

"You ok?" Angel quickly leaned over the stairs to look at Seth who was once again clenching his stomach.

"Yeah." He grunted. "That kick really knocked the wind out of me."

"That's my boy!" Roman called above her making her look up to see Dean throwing hit after hit at Rowan.

Her face curled up into a smile as she watched Dean hit Rowan with that beautiful drop kick of his, only to hop right back up and knock Harper who was trying to get into the ring, off the apron. But he didn't stop there as he launched himself over the top rope and landed right on Harper.

Maybe this was just what Dean needed. A chance to get out his anger and aggression. And what better way than on the Wyatts. She thought as Dean got back into the ring, He ducked under a wild swing from Rowan, bounced off the ropes and came running back…right into a punch to the face that made him stumble backwards.

Right before he went through the ropes, Dean caught him and pushed off them to blast Rowan with a clothesline that knocked both of them to the mat.

"Come on Dea…" She went to cheer only to get cut off by Dean screaming loudly. Though it wasn't in pain. This scream was a battle cry, a warning. Smiling, she watched as he grabbed Rowan's legs and put him into a Figure Four. Though before he could do any real damage, both Bray and Harper got into the ring to defend their teammate, which only ended in a stale mate as Seth and Roman did the same.

Dean must have realized what was happening around him before he rolled out of the room and stood next to his brothers.

The ref cooled both teams off a bit and pushed everyone back to the corners, everyone expect Dean and Rowan. After making sure that no one was about to run back out, he stepped back and the match continued.

Rowan instantly grabbed Dean and kicked him in the gut before pushing him back into the corner so he could tag out to Harper.

Both men in the ring they backed away from Dean who looked to almost be hung up in the corner. Using both Rowan and Harpers might, Rowan ran over and smashed Dean into the turnbuckles before throwing him out into Harpers big boot.

"Good god!" Angel gasped as Dean laid unmoving on the mat.

Harper didn't let Dean rest though, as he reached down and put the man in a headlock. One that she though was almost pointless since it seemed like Dean was out for the count, he wasn't even answering the ref question. However, when the ref finally told him that if he didn't answer he was going to have to call the match, Dean's head perked up and he started to thrash around trying to get his feet.

Reaching back, Dean grabbed the back of Harper's head and dropped down, so that the man's chin slammed right against the top of his head. The move left both men groaning and holding their heads.

One hand on the top of his head, Dean got to his feet and started throwing punches with his feet hand. He then took off to use the rope for momentum for what looked like a kick, only to get his foot caught and to be thrown face first into the mat.

Harper rolled Dean over and went for a pin. Dean kicked out.

Just like last time, she could hear Bray telling Harper to tag him in, which the man in the ring did almost instantly.

Once the tag was called, Bray jumped down off the apron and pulled Dean who was laying on his belly over, so his head dangled out of the ring.

Backing up with a cruel smirk on his face, Bray raced forward and kicked Dean in the side of the head. Angel brought a shaking hand up to her face as she watched Bray pull Dean back into the ring and go for a pin.

"One!" The ref called as Dean kicked out again.

Three brutal matches in the last twenty-four hours and Dean was still able to kick out at one. She was both proud and worried for the man.

Bray tagged out to Harper, who hit Dean in the gut before tagging out to Rowan. Both men forced Dean to the ropes and hung him up so that he was leaning between the top and middle ones before ranking his head backwards.

Rowan then hit him with an elbow to the head which sent him stumbling around the ring.

"Come on Ambrose." Seth called as Rowan Irish Whipped Dean across the ring twice. Though after the second time, Dean got his foot up making Rowan walk right into it. Using all his might he kicked the man two more times.

Now it was Rowan's turn to stumble back to his corner to tag out to Harper. Though instead of getting out of the ring, Rowan made his way back over. Dean dropped down, bring the ropes with him at the last moment making Rowan dump himself onto the floor.

Angel smiled before remembering that Rowan wasn't the only one in the ring that Dean need to worry about.

"Look out!" She called as she pointed back at Harper who was following in Rowan's footsteps.

Once again Dean dropped down and now it was Harper's turn to hit the floor.

"Go get them." Dean mumbled as he tagged out to Seth.

The crowd cheered loudly as they realized what was to come. Without missing a beat Seth took off and threw himself over the ropes on top of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, plastering them both to the floor at the same time landing on his feet.

Giving a little battle cry, he tossed Harper back into the ring before taking out Bray and getting back into the ring. A slingblade and corner splash later, Seth was standing on the top rope ready to do something amazing surly, but Harper rose to his feet and pushed Seth back.

Angel's eyes widened as Seth crashed to the floor in a pile of limbs.

"Seth!" Angel went to get up.

"Stop!" Dean barked back at her. "Stay." He gritted his teeth as he gave a hard glance over his shoulder.

Seconds later, Seth was getting to his feet, using the announce table to get his balance. Though that was until Harper Suicide Dived right into him. Seth hit the table behind him and fell off.

"Oh god." Angel panicked as she inched to follow both Roman and Dean who went to go after their teammate only to be stopped by the ref.

"Get back into your corner."

"This isn't time for that." Roman pointed out as, yell from Luke Harper echoed through the arena as he ripped the announce table apart and threw a chair across the way.

After pacing around a bit, Harper grabbed Seth and rolled him back into the ring for a pin. Only for Seth to kick out at two.

The match went on with Seth trying his hardest to defend himself and being outsmarted at almost every turn. Those this time, when Harper tried to pin him again, Dean was the one who broke it. Landing hard on Harpers back.

"Dean!" Angel called as Rowan climbed into the ring.

Dean turned around and went right after the man with wild hits that knocked him to the mat. The two men rolled together to the outside of the ring only for Dean to get double teamed by both Rowan and Bray.

Dean tried his best to fight off both men, only to be thrown over the announcers' table.

Not caring anymore about staying in the Shield's corner. Angel raced across the way stopping only to checking on Roman who was leaning against the barricade from when he was knocked off the apron by a punch in the face by Rowan.

"I'm good." He nodded.

She gave a small smile before taking off once more towards Dean. "Dean!" She called as she pushed past JBL. "Dean." She pushed away from the wires.

Dean laid there face down, his body twitching as he tried to catch his breath. "I'm fine." He said with a sharp tone. She watched as he pushed himself up onto his hands and knees and crawled out from behind the table.

As she fought to help the man, she looked up just in time for Roman to set up for the Superman Punch only to get grabbed by Rowan.

"Shit." Dean pushed himself up to his feet. "Stay back." He took off to help Roman while Seth took out Harper.

Angel quickly hopped backwards so that she was standing behind JBL as she watched both members of the Wyatt family being tossed out of the ring. There was a part of her regretting leaving the Shield's corner now. As she watched the two men get to their feet and look at her with those dead eyes.

Like a flash two figures dressed in all black came soaring from the ring in unison and knocked the men across the table.

For the first time all night, Dean's eyes locked with hers for longer than a second as he gestured for her to go back to the corner, which she did as Seth and him stood between her and the two men who looked like they weren't getting up any time soon.

"Superman Punch!" She heard Cole as Roman landed the hit right to the side of Bray's face.

The crowd cheered as Seth and Dean got back into the ring. Everyone knew what was about to happen. Angel stopped halfway to the corner as she watched the boys set up for the Triple Powerbomb, but as Roman called for the move, Evolutions' theme hit.

Everyone in the ring stopped and looked back at the stage.

A cold chill went up Angel's spine as she watched the boys stand in the middle of the ring looking back and forth from the Wyatts to Evolution. They were trapped.

From behind Luke Harper and Erick Rowan came running towards them. Though showing just how cleaver they were, all three members of the Shield dunked under the wild wings before Seth and Dean hit the two men with powerful drop kicks that send them crashing into Evolution who were trying to get into the ring.

But that wasn't where it ended. Seth and Dean looked at each other before going for yet another double Suicide Dive. Knocking Harper, Rowan, Randy Orton, and Batista down to the floor.

She stared in awe at the mess of bodies that sat at the bottom of the ramp. Two of which were her teammates. When out of nowhere Triple H came rolling out of the ring holding the side of his face. Angel stepped back and gasped as she looked up to see Bray taking down Roman with Sister Abigail. As the man went for the pin, she cocked her head trying to figure out what was going on.

That was until she realized, the bell to call the match was never rung and Roman and Bray were the legal men.

Glancing back at the pile of bodies, she saw that Seth and Dean weren't in position to break the pin. Doing the only thing she could think of, Angel jumped up on the apron and went to duck through the ropes, but she was too late… The ref called for the bell and the match was over.

She looked in horror as Roman laid flat on the mat and Seth and Dean were resting next to the ring with their heads down.

The match was lost, but that was the least of their worries now.

She gasped as she watched Triple H and Randy got into the ring and went after Roman and while on the outside of the ring Batista grabbed Dean and slammed his face against both the steel steps and the barricade.

Darting her eyes back and forth at the boys she realized that she was standing there once again helpless while her teammates were being beaten up.

Tears welled in her eyes as the sound of the steel steps being smashed into echoed loudly. Her eyes snapped over to see Dean laying sprawled out next to the steps and Batista standing tall, which only meant one thing, Dean was the reason for the noise.

As she used the barricade to make her way towards Dean, her eyes caught the sight of feet coming up and over the corner of the ring. Turning her attention towards what was going on in the ring, she gasped as saw Randy setting Seth up for a that rope assisted DDT only this time, he was using the top turnbuckle.

D.D.D

Dean looked up from his spot on the floor as he heard Angel screaming for someone to stop something. Blinking a few times to get the dots out of his vision, he saw that she was standing on the apron trying her hardest to push Seth's feet from the top turnbuckle.

"Stop!" She yelled once more as she swatted her hands at Randy.

When was she going to learn to just stay back, to stay out of the fight? He gritted his teeth as he watched Randy's hand come down on Angel's chest pushing her from the apron.

Eyes widened. Dean made a quick move that his body wasn't ready for and caught her before she could hit the floor with any real impacted, which only meant his already sore back took the blow itself.

Groaning he leaned up to check on her only to see Dave Batista leaning over him with a smirk on his face. Shit. He cursed as he quickly and carefully pushed her off him. Using the time that he had to make sure she was nowhere near what was about to happen, he wasn't able to stop as Batista scooped him up.

The man squeezed the hell out of his aching ribs before smashing him down on something hard.

"Ah!" He couldn't stop the yell that came from him as he arched forward, trying to get pressure off his back.

His senses seemed to turn off. His eyes went blank as he stared up into the lights, his ears blocked out all of the noises from the crowd and his body went numb other than the throbbing pain that had his back in spasms.

All he knew is that when he came to, Angel was sitting next to him as she barked orders at the medic team.

Talk about Déjà vu.

As if today couldn't get any worse, he, his teammates, and his girlfriend all had to basically relive a moment none of them ever wanted to think about again. And wasn't that just the fucking icing on the cake.

R.R.R.

Roman sat there and watched as his best friend yelled and threw things at the medic team as they tried their hardest to bandage up his ribs.

He let out a sigh and gave a shake of his head. "Deano, settle down and let them do their thing."

Dean's head snapped over to him with a dark glare, the same glare that Seth and he had dubbed the 'Moxley glare', because it was the one they got when Dean let himself fall back into his old ways.

"The quicker you stop throwing shit, the quicker you can get out of here." He said stupidly trying to reason with the man.

"Save the fucking fatherly bullshit for you kid." Dean gritted his teeth.

It was Roman's turn to glare at the man sitting across the room. "I would watch yourself if I were you. Seth and I might be used to you being an asshole like this but if you're not careful you might say or do something to the wrong person and regret it."

As if on cue, Angel and Seth came walking back into the room. "I brought waters." She announced as she made her way over to them.

"Thanks, Babygirl. But I don't think water is going to cut it tonight." Roman smiled down at the petite brunette as he ran his tongue over the new cut on the inside of his mouth. "I'm thinking we hit up the closest bar and close it out."

"Sounds like a plan." Seth smirked. "Sounds like a fucking great plan."

"MOTHERFUCKER!"

Everyone turned their head toward Dean who was now standing, towering over the staff member who had somehow fucked up. "Calm down Dean and let me disinfect it."

"You can disinfect my boot once I shove it up your ass."

"Dean!" Angel yelled as she grabbed at the man's arm.

Roman winced as he watched Dean rip himself out of Angel's grip for like the third time tonight. When Angel stumbled backwards with a small hurt look on her face as she looked up at her asshole of a boyfriend, he had to stop himself from going over there and punching Dean right in the face. But that would just make matters worse, and probably end up with both men brawling it out and getting a huge fine for fighting backstage.

"Fine." The medic sighed as he threw his stuff down the table and march out of the room mumbling something about stupid hardcore wrestlers.

The room grew deadly quiet as Dean turned away from the wall where he had just pinned the medic to. That was the first time Roman noticed the small gash under the man's eye. Dean looked around before scoffing and rubbing his hand over that gash slightly.

"I'll meet you by the car." He grumbled as he grabbed his leather jacket and walked out of the trainers' room.

"Dean…" Angel sighed but the man didn't stop around didn't even look back at her.

"Man, he's really gone this time, isn't he?" Seth sighed as he turned back from the door. Roman nodded in agreement as he quickly gathered up his stuff.

The three of them made their way out of the trainers' room before heading to where they stuffed their stuff. Not a word was spoken between them as they got ready to head out.

When they got to the car, Roman was almost surprised when he saw Dean standing there leaning against the trunk of the car with his headphones in and his Shield hoodie on. At least he had the decency to not make them look for him tonight.

"Who's ready for drinks." Seth asked as he pulled out the car keys and popped the trunk.

"God damn am I." He gave his neck a rub as he tossed his bag one armed into the trunk.

When he opened the back door to get his ass into the car, Roman heard Angel stop Dean, but the bastard didn't answer her. There was a part of him that wanted to tell her to just stop trying, that this was how Dean got and there was nothing she could do about it, but then the other half of him realized that he couldn't keep making excuses for the way his friend acted. Not if Dean was truly serious about this relationship.

"Dean?" She tried again.

Still nothing.

Against his better judgement, Roman looked over the car to see Angel's defeated face quickly turn into one of annoyance. Then as quick as she could, she reached out and pulled one of Dean's headphones out of his ear. "Dean, I'm trying to talk to you…"

Dean's eyes snapped down to the woman a 'Moxley glare' on his face. "What!" He hollered. "What the hell do you want?"

Angel's eyes widened for a moment, making Roman tense. Though when he thought tears were going to start welling up, Angel's jaw clenched. "Listen here, Dean Ambrose." She said in a low voice. "I get that you're pissed off, I really do. But news flash, NONE OF US are very happy tonight!" Her voice rose sharply only to fall once again. "But do you see any of us treating each other like trash like you have all night? No, you don't."

"I was going to ask you if you wanted to skip the drinks, go back to the hotel, and 'relax'." She said with a glare that mocked Dean's. "Or if you wanted me to give you a back massage or ask Nikki and Brie for more Epson Salt, but you know what forget it." She threw her hands out. "Do whatever the fuck you want. Go to the bar, drink all night, I don't care. What I'm going to do is go back to the hotel, take a shower, and go to bed."

Roman smirked as she didn't give Dean the time to register anything she said. She just turned around and stomped off. Leaving the prick in the dust.

Good for you, Babygirl. He snickered as he looked at Dean who was standing there blinking at the spot that Angel was just standing in. "This is what I was talking about." He told the man as he got into the backseat.

Samcoo 12: I'm glad that you like the story. I keep having to go back and reread and sometimes rewrite parts just to make sure that the story has a nice flow to it. Angel is growing more confident. More Dean and Angel moments coming.

NotRob: I don't know if I'll go to AEW with Dean and Angel but I have thought to do a Moxley story.

Silentmayhem: Hi there! I'm glad you're liking the story. Don't worry I have ideas about Angel doing more for the company. I really do. You'll be seeing them soon.

Skovko: I like your idea! But maybe not with a crowbar maybe a barbed baseball bat? Lol

Katara Melody Cullen: Thank you as always

BrookeWorm3: I wasn't even trying to tease this time. Lol

Canadice: You don't sound like a asshole. It's kind of cute to see a bit man beat himself up because he's upset and worried about his partner. More Romance coming soon!

Guest: Thank you! I hope you liked this chapter too.
