Chapter Seventy Five

"So, here's the itinerary for the first couple of day." Angel nodded as she listened to the tour coordinator talk. "Things are subject to change just like any normal show. So, take this with a grain of salt. I've also taken the liberty to add all the interviews and tours that you've booked the Shield for."

"Thank you." She ran her eyes over the thing.

"If you have any questions fill free to ask." The man said as he cleaned up his things.

"Will do."

"We'll see you on tour."

As the coordinator walked away, Angel felt her stomach fall. She was so nervous about the upcoming tour. The European tour. They were heading across the sea for two weeks. Two weeks on nonstop work, with brutal matches every day. And she was super scared that she would screw it up.

She knew that she had every ready to go, all the hotel room and flights were booked. She had meet and greets, interviews, and tourist trips all planned. But she was still nervous that something was amiss. Even though she spent last night checking over everything. Her mom had to pry her laptop out of her hands just to get her to go to bed or she would have stayed awake all night long. However, she didn't really mind, she needed to go to bed because she needed to spry tonight.

Tonight's show was going to a hell of a show. After last week, Seth, Roman and Dean were ready to get their hands onto Evolution and she was ready to let them. They also knew that Evolution wasn't going to be easy to lure out.

So, they made a plan.

A plan that started with a Shield promo, which was something that Angel was surprised that they got. Though that didn't matter, they were going to call out Evolution and demand a rematch at Payback.

Angel smiled as she thought about the next part of their plan. The demand of a rematch would mean that at least Hunter would have to acknowledge the call out and when that happened…they would attack.

Rounding the hallway, Angel stopped dead in her spot. She blinked at the sight in front of her as she tried to figure out what she was seeing. Frozen in her spot, she watched as Stephanie walked away from Seth who was leaning against the wall outside of the Authority's makeshift office.

She knew there was a huge chance that this was just a coincidence, but something seemed off. Seth took a deep breath and pushed hair out of his face before looking around. As soon as his eyes landed on her, a smile came his face. "Hey! You're meeting done?"

Taking back by the sudden change in his mood, Angel nodded and waved around the schedule for the next couple of weeks.

"Good. That's good." He nodded as he glanced at the floor.

"Is everything ok?"

"What?" He cleared his throat. "Oh, yeah. Yeah, everything's fine." She raised a brow at the man. "Just a lot on my mind. You know between tonight and this tour…"

He was lying. She could tell almost instantly that something was bothering him; and it had nothing to do with tonight or the upcoming tour. She had noticed these little changes in him since last Monday; after that weird phone call.

She nodded her head even though she was worried about the man. There was nothing she could do for him right now, if he didn't want to talk about it then she wasn't going to pry.

The sound a loud clap made her jump and look back at Seth. "So, are you ready for the show?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "We've got some plans to work out."

Taking a deep breath, Angel looked around at the cheering crowd. It had been a long time since they had been able to do an in-ring promo and she was quite nervous.

However, she had seen the praise on social media for her promo on Friday. The fans had seemed to love her emotional outburst, but that's all it was an emotional outburst. She didn't even know what she was saying at the time.

This promo wasn't like that, it wasn't a random blow up. This was important, they had to do it right if they were going to get their plan to work.

Taking a deep breath, she glanced over to where Dean was standing holding the mic in his hand as they waited for the show to come back from commercial.

When the Shield's music finally died down and the lights came up, Dean looked around before he fixated his glare on the stage; obviously ready for Evolution to come down at any moment.

"Last week you saw something you don't see very often." Dean started. "and you're not likely to see it again very often in the future. You saw all three members of the Shield laid out, flat on our backs. Yeah we got the crap beat out of us." He smirked. "But it's cool, it's all right. We might go down, but we don't stay down." Angel nodded as Dean's voice turned into his typical sing songy tone, where he likes to go from yelling to calm in the same sentence.

"And if you're keeping score at home, you'll find that we're up much more then we're down. Tonight, we're standing tall in this ring and make no mistake about it…" He pursed his lips and pointed at himself. "let me make myself very clear, right now…WE WANT EVOLUTION!"

The man started to pace as he pasted the mic off to Seth. "Let me make one thing perfectly clear, we are not running from Evolution, we are running to Evolution."

Angel jumped slightly and looked back as two large hands gripped her shoulders. She looked back at Dean who was still twitching and looked as if he was fighting everything in his being to stay in one spot.

"You ok?" She asked quietly hoping that the mics around the ring wouldn't pick her up as she leaned her head against his arm. The only answer she got was those blue eyes landing on her face as his lips curled up into a sinister smile.

"If they got any guts, if they are half the men that they think they are, they'll accept our challenge for a rematch, and we will run through Evolution!" The arena got amped up by Seth's words, sending the crowd into cheers, while Roman paced and Dean's fingers gripped harder into her.

"And when they show up here tonight, we're going to hunt them down. They're good. Evolution is good. Let's not take that away from them. These are former world champions; these are men who main evented WrestleMania…Evolution's good. Yeah, we get it you're real good. You were really good…" Angel blinked as Seth tone and demeanor changed just like it did before. It was like there was something more that he was trying to get off his chest. However, just like in the hallway, his mood changed so fast it was almost alarming. "Because you're not the Evolution that you once were because you can't evolve into what it takes to beat the Shield."

Everyone glanced up at the stage, just waiting for Evolution's theme to play, everyone but Roman. "You alright, Big Man?" Seth asked, the mic barley picking him up. "I see you pacing back there, you got something to say?"

"He's mad, he's a little angry." Dean smirked as Roman finally grabbed the mic. "That's our cue." Dean said as he pulled Angel away from Roman who stepped up in front of the camera and stared dead at it.

"A week ago, you victimized my brothers, you toyed with my manger. A week ago, you ambushed me, you bloodied me, you RKOed me, you Pedigreed me, and you Triple Powerbomb me." Angel's stomach turned as she remembered everything that he was listening… "And all of that made me realized, is that all you got?"

Angel jumped as Dean laughed loudly into her ear. "Gotta love that man."

"Because if it is, you have a serious problem. And we're going to teach you that our brand of Justice, we can server it cold. We can serve it so slow. We're going to teach you to believe in the concept of payback, we're going to teach you to believe in the Shield, and me personally, I'm going to teach you individually to believe in me!"

"Your turn, darlin'" Dean gave her a pat on the shoulder as he stepped away.

Exhaling, Angel stepped up and took the outstretched mic from Roman. The crowd was still cheering loudly from his speech as she brought the mic to her face, though before she could say a word the titantron turned on.

She looked up expecting to see Evolution or at least Hunter standing with smirks, but instead it was a limo pulling up into the arena.

"What do we have here?" Seth asked.

"If they step out of that limo…" Dean threatened as the driver door opened and a man got out. He walked around the far side of the car and opened the back door. Angel held her breath as she watched Hunter get out followed by Randy and Batista

Instantly, the boys' mood picked up because all three of them knew what was coming, however none of them moved. "Boys!" She called into the mic, letting the whole arena hear her. They all turned slowly towards her, almost eerily as they waited to see what she was going to say. She smirked at them. "Sick 'em."

As if she pushed a magic button, they took off out of the ring and up the ramp, leaving her behind. As they disappeared behind the stage, Angel couldn't stop herself from let out a chuckle. "Happy hunting!"

She dropped the mic without any care and made her way out of the ring. The entire way up, she kept her eyes on the titaintron, just like everyone else in the arena. On the huge screen, Hunter was signing something that the tour coordinator had handed him while Randy and Batista awkwardly stood behind him. After passing the clipboard back to the man and giving him a nod, he looked back and patted Randy on the chest. "Let's do this thing."

Enthralled with what was going to happen, Angel stopped on the ramp as she watched the scene that was playing out. The three men had no idea that they were about to be hit by a very angry train called the Shield.

She could feel the smirk appear on her face as she waited with bated breath for the boys to appear. Then it happened, Seth's battle cry echoed through the speakers as a blur attacked Hunter. Followed by Roman and Dean who took on the other two members of Evolution. Roman grabbed Batista and smashed him against a road case and Dean knocked Randy down to the floor, his head hitting sickly against the metal framing that sat next to where the limo pulled in.

Shaking her head, Angel remembered that she was just awkwardly standing on the ramp. She got backstage and noticed that there was a beat down had turned into the Shield being pushed away by refs and officials. Shit. She sighed. Anyone how was anyone could see that this could get out of hand fast.

Without another though she raced down towards the loading dock. However, by the time she got there everything, but the limo was already cleared out. She drew her brows together and looked around before heading back to their corner, however it was just as empty as the loading dock.

Worry filled her as she tried to figure out where the boys would have ran off to. She didn't see them in either catering or the trainers' room when she ran past them. Pulling out her phone she quickly called Dean and prayed that she didn't hear it buzzing away in his bag next to her.

"'Ello" Dean answered.

Relief rushed her. "Where are you?"

"Outside, we got kicked out of the arena."

"Of course, you did." She sighed.

Dead chuckled as she heard Seth and Roman talking very loudly in the background. "Where you at?"

"In our corner."

"We got them good." She heard Seth. "Did you see their faces?"

She leaned against the wall as she listened to the boys playing around outside. That's when she noticed the sign for the staircase. Cocking her head, she pushed herself away from the wall and walked over to the door to the stairs and smiled as her eyes landed on the metal door in front of her. It was one of the side-exits that was only used during games.

"Where did you say you are?"

"Outside, in the parking lot." Dean sounded puzzled "Why?"

"Walk around to the side of the building." She told him.

Dean told the other two to follow him as she pushed open the heavy door. Propping the door open, she watched the corner of the building until she saw the three Shield members come around the bed.

"Hey!" Roman called.

"Smart thinking."

Dean hung up his phone as he walked up to her with a huge smile on his face. "That's my girl." He patted her on the head.

"Now what?" Seth asked as everyone made themselves at home.

Angel shrugged. "Not sure, but I think we should keep our heads down low. If the Authority sees you, they're probably going to throw you back out."

Roman nodded. "Yeah, we need to bide our time, until they make their move. There's no way they're going to pass up answering our call." She agreed with him; there was no way that Evolution was going to sit there and take the beat down and the call out. Their egos were too big for that.

"Alright, so we wait." Though, they didn't have to wait long.

"Here we go!" Angel sat up from the floor where she had been laying watching the show on her phone. Almost instantly she had three men gather around her, just in time to see and angry looking Evolution come out onto the stage.

The show then cut to a quick video showing what had happened earlier before going back to the three men who were now in the ring. Hunter looked stoic as he leaned against the ropes, while Randy and Batista paced around behind him, calling for the Shield to come try something.

Angel wanted to laugh at the display, she knew they were only doing it because they though the Shield was stuck outside.

Randy was the one to start things off. "Alright, listen Hunter I don't know if you've had enough but I've had enough. Dave, I know that you've had enough. It's time to take the gloves off, it's time to start treating the Shield like we need…we need to kick their ass Hunter." Randy stuttered over his own words. "And I know they were your boys way back but I truly believe with all my heart and all my soul…"

"Heart? Soul?" Dean snickered. "This is Randy talking right?"

"…That it is time to put the Hounds of Justice to sleep."

All three men around her started to laugh.

"Put us to sleep?"

"I like to see you try Randy."

"Big talk from the man who lost."

Hunter took the mic and turned to Batista who was throwing a hissy fit. "I've had enough. I have enough. Enough. They're calling us out…." Even Hunter looked taken back by it.

"Alright, maybe it is time. Maybe it is time to take the gloves off. May it's time to finish this thing with the Shield. At Extreme Rules they proved how good they are, but I already knew that, it's why I brought them here, Randy. It's why I coddled them, it's why I protected them. It's why I fed the rooster to them. To make them into something and I did."

As the words poured from Hunters mouth, she felt the energy in their back corner grow stale, felt the whirlwind of anger that came from the three men hovering over her. They most certainly did not like the fact that Hunter was taking all the credit for their success.

"They got a little too big for themselves. And I thought that I could salvage something out of that. And maybe I was wrong. Maybe I was wrong. You know I've been a little disappointed in them since Extreme Rules, tonight that little so called attempt of an ambush was pretty much the last straw. The Shield had no idea, they're undisciplined, they're like a bunch of little kids with sticks, waving it around at whatever is in front of them. So, it's going to end."

"The Shield, you want a rematch as Payback, you want a rematch for the match you already won, then so be it. You will get your rematch but this one will be different, because this one the gloves are off and Evolution will do what we do. We will take you apart, one by one."

"We will start… let's just start with that pretty little manager of yours, Angel Miles." As soon as Angel's name left Hunter's mouth a growl like noise vibrated from Dean. "Angel, you know has really proven Stephanie and I wrong. When we paired her with the Shield back in February, we thought she wouldn't last. She was spineless, weak, pathetic…she literally shook in her boots. We thought she would be here maybe a week or two. Hell, we thought that Ambrose was going to be the one to scare her off." Hunter chuckled. "Boy, were we wrong." He raised a brow at Randy who smiled back at his boss, one that made her feel uncomfortable. "She did in time grow a spine, but we'll see how long that lasts when we force her to watch as we take apart the man she loves, Dean Ambrose."

Hunter turned towards Randy. "You remember the guy who said, 'do we look humble to you?'" He said in what she thought was supposed to be Dean's low, gravelly voice but instead just sounded like he was constipated. "No, you don't yet, but you will. And when we're done humbling you Ambrose, we're going to move to the Architect of the Shield. Seth Rollins. And I'm going to pull that little hummingbirds wings off myself and when we're done with him, we're going to move on to the Big Dog to Roman Reigns."

"I've had enough of this, if you have?" Dean stepped away. His body twitching with each movement. "I'm ready to go TEACH Evolution that we mean businesses this time. That we are also taking the gloves off…"

Seth and Roman looked at each other and nodded.

"Try and keep up, Babygirl." Roman smirked as the three men took off down the hall.

Not having time to turn off the video on her phone, Angel tried her best to keep up as they booked it through the arena, avoiding all the crew members and officials that tried to get them to stop. Not bothering to use their normal entrance, they pushed through the bottom on that came out to the left of the ramp. With Seth leading the way, they charged towards the ring where Hunter was staring dead at the camera.

"You will fail to adapt at Payback…And you will…." Seth rolled into the ring and grabbed Hunter by the legs pulling him straight down to the mat, interrupting the promo.

Trying to stay back out of the way, Angel watched the mayhem that was going on inside the ring. When Hunter came spilling out over the top rope, she quickly got out of the way and jumped up onto the steel steps. Randy and Batista were soon expelled from the ring as well. Which meant that the Shield was standing tall in the ring.

"Come on!" Dean called as he hit the ropes.

Hunter answered the taunt and tried to get back up on the apron, but both he and Roman knocked the man down.

"We don't have to wait until Payback for it!" Seth yelled as the Shield's theme started playing.

As Angel ducked into the ring, Batista's voice echoed over the speakers. "I've had enough!" He yelled. "I've had enough!" The man was making his way back down the ramp with a very nervous looking Hunter and Randy behind him.

"I've had enough of you, I've had enough of you, I've had enough of you and you." He pointed at each of them.

"Yeah well we're not very fond of you." Dean smirked. "Boo-tista."

"Reigns you're the Big Dog, I've had enough, you and me tonight." Batista threw the mic to the floor.

Roman nodded. "It's ON!"

"He's going to have a rude awakening." Dean said patting Roman on the chest.

"Roman vs a washed-up Hollywood star?" Seth smirked. "I know where my moneys at."

Angel took in the sight in front of her and couldn't help but smirk. Batista seemed to believe that he was in change of what was going down, but little did he know, he was just playing into their hands.

D.D.D.

Part one of their plan had worked out just beautifully. They managed to get their rematch with Evolution at Payback and give them a few more bruises while they were at it. Dean smirked at himself as he recalled the shiner that was standing out on Hunter's big misshapen nose.

"You got this one, man." He heard Seth trying to pump up Roman. "Batista is a walk in the park."

Turning toward his two best friends, Dean realized that Seth talking to deaf ears. Roman was in his own little world in that head of his. He was leaning against the wall next to the door with his hands on his vest in that lone ranger, bad ass style that he liked to do. His eyes armed on the ground as they waited for their theme music to start.

"We're coming back from commercial." The crew member that was with them said as they heard the fans starting to perk up again, right before their theme song hit. Cheers roared through the doors as everyone looked back at Roman who pushed himself off the wall and gave them a nod.

"Let's go this thing!" Seth cheered as they stepped through the door.

At the top of the steps, Dean stepped out of the way letting Angel go around him as he waited for the big guy to come out. Not a word was said as they pounded fists, but that was all he needed. That one gesture told him everything he needed to know about his best friend. Which was on reason they both melted so well. Just one look, a nod of the head and he knew that the man was pissed off and ready to beat some ass.

Smirking to himself, Dean started down the steps after Angel who had gotten hallway down the stairs before he caught up to her. She must have felt him walk up on her, because she turned around slightly and smiled at him.

He had to fight against his own lips curling upwards as he nodded at her. She nodded back and looked forward once again. He shook his head at himself, here he was heading to war and somehow Angel was still able to get under his skin and make him almost loose his hard-ass persona. He should be pissed not smiling sweetly. His mind should be filled with the brutal punishment that he wanted to inflict on Evolution, but instead she was dancing through his mind. His eyes should be on the prize, the match that was just ahead of them, but instead he was staring at the way her ass swayed in those tight black jeans.

Get your head in the game, Ambrose! He yelled at himself as they got into the ring. However, he didn't have to worry about getting in his head in the game because when Evolution's theme started all the sweet thoughts and urges washed away. The only things that were running through his mind were ones that he wanted Angel nowhere near.

Batista got into the ring and started to circle around Roman, each waiting for the other to make a move. Which ending up being Roman. He went for the normal lock up only for Batista to duck and grab him around the waist.

For those who didn't know better, the match looked even as the two men exchanged blow after blow, but for those who had the proper trainer, there was small subtle movement that told a different story. Roman was in control of the match. Even as the man was being plowed into the corner, it was Roman's show and he proved it by throwing Batista into the corner.

"Shit…" Dean whistled as he glanced over to Seth.

Batista smartly rolled out of the ring before grabbing Roman's foot and dragging him out with him. Which only meant one thing for Dean; it was show time. He carefully watched as Hunter and Randy stepped up closer to the fight. They were doing the same thing he was waiting for the moment to jump in the action. One wrong move from either fighter and it was going to be a full on brawl.

Dean smirked at himself as he met eyes with Randy. Make your move. He warned as Roman bounced Batista's head off the steel steps in front of him. He kept the two men on the far side of the ring in his sights as Roman took the match back into ring.

It hadn't been five minutes in and Batista was already showing signs of wear and tear. Dean had a feeling that he was regretting challenging Roman. Weight for weight they were even, but strength and gusto, Roman won hands down and 'The Animal' was starting to learn that.

"This is what he wanted." He smugly called to Hunter as Batista stumbled to his feet. Step back into his spot next to Angel, Dean watched as Roman went for a leaping corner slash only for Batista to duck out of the way, making Roman smash into the top turnbuckle.

"Ouch." He rubbed his own check.

The hit allowed Batista get the upper hand in the match he knew Roman into the corners over and over until Roman ended up hitting his shoulder of the steel post.

"Come on." Seth said through clenched teeth. "You got this."

Batista hit Roman with a Headlock Takeover before going for a pin, which Roman kicked at one. However, Roman wasn't able to get to his feet intime to avoid that boot to the head that sent him reeling.

"Shut up." Dean caught Dave Batista glaring at the chanting crowd, and he couldn't fault the man, they were chanting "Boo-tista." Although he could fault him for letting it get under his skin and distracting him from the match and that due to said distraction, Roman was able to take control with a hit to the gut and headbutt.

"Come on, come on!" Seth clapped his hand as Roman pushed Batista back for an Irish Whip. "Light him up."

The whip was beautiful, but the comeback wasn't. Batista caught himself on the ropes and hit Roman with another boot to the face. Surprisingly Roman was able to stay standing after such a hit and it was really more surprising that Roman was able to come back with a huge clothesline that knocked Batista to the mat.

"There you go!" He clapped.

"That's how you do it!" Angel and Seth cheered along.

Everyone stopped cheering as Batista crawled over to the ropes, near where Hunter and Randy stood. "Look." Dean slapped Seth on the chest as he gestured towards where the two members of Evolution were checking on their teammate, while climbing up on the apron.

"Oh no." He heard Angel gasp as both he and Seth jumped up as well. Once up on his feet, his eyes locked with Randy and Dean wondered if this was going to be the end of the match.

"You better watch yourself." Seth warned.

Roman moved to the middle of the ring with his arm out. "What are you going to do?" He asked the two men in front of him. "Come on."

A.A.A

A sigh of relief came from her before she could stop it as both Dean and Seth dropped off the apron. She was glad that the match didn't devolve just yet into a brawl…yet. She knew it was going to happen, if Batista won, Dean and Seth would jump in to protect their bother, if Roman won, Hunter and Randy would start a beat down on Roman. That is if the match even finished. She had a feeling this was going to be yet another DQ.

Once again, the worry about a DQ came to her as Roman set Batista up for his Drive-by kick and Randy and Hunter stepped in the way. She glanced around, expecting to see Seth and Dean making their way over to defend their teammate, only to see the two men racing across the ring for their twin Suicide Dives. They hit the two men hard and knocked all four of them into the barricade.

Angel's stomach twisted as she forced herself to stay out of the way, which was harder than she thought it would be due to the fact that both Seth and Dean's heads hit against the barricade.

When she saw Seth hop to his feet and start to wail on Hunter, a little bit of anxiousness went away. She felt bad that her attention was taken away from Roman's match as Seth and Hunter came around the ring with fists flying but she was just barley able to get out of the way of as Hunter sent Seth right over the announce table.

She wasn't going to stop herself from checking on the man this time, but she was stopped by Hunter standing in front of her with a huge smirk on his face. "Aren't you going to make sure he's ok?" Hunter asked in a mocking tone. "Aren't you going to be their mommy and check all their little injuries and booboos."

When Hunter's eyes went from her to the ring, something seemed to click in the man's face. However, before she could glance, Hunter stepped forward and pushed her out of the way. She stumbled against the announcers' table before she swiveled around to see Hunter grabbing at Roman's foot, pulling him out of the ring.

Roman looked as shocked as she did when he turned to face the man, only to get a boot to the gut. Angel's cringed as Hunter set up for a Pedigree. Here came the beatdown… However, before Hunter could hit the move, a noise came beside her which sounded like someone running across the table. When suddenly a black blur flew past her, she realized that Seth had raced passed her on the table before leaping on both Roman and Hunter.

The bell to end the match rang out as Seth attacked Hunter.

Almost instantly Angel's heart sank as she watched the looming chaos and mayhem start. Pushing herself away from the table, she walked up to Roman, who was still leaning against the barricade from when Seth jump onto him and Hunter.

"Hey, Big Guy." She placed a hand on his shoulder. "How are we doing?"

"I'm alright." He said rubbing the shoulder that he plowed into the steel pole. "Sore…" He stopped in mid-thought as he quickly threw his arm out and pushed her back a few steps right before Hunter came crashing into the steel steps.

All of a sudden, all three men of the Shield were standing in front of her staring down at their boss with vicious glares.

"Get 'em in the ring!" Dean screamed as he pointed into the ring.

Seth manhandled Hunter into the ring as Dean and Roman followed. Angel was in shock as she watched them standing over the three laid out members of Evolution. However, it didn't last long as yet another brawl started up.

Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw someone come out onto the stage. Looking up, she saw Stephanie standing there looking very angry. "GO!" She screamed as suddenly as the male locker room emptied.

It felt like she was living a horrible flash back as she watched the boys trying to meet and fight off the locker room head on. It was the same exact group of men who came down the last time.

She went to move when Seth and Dean were thrown out of the ring in front of her. Leaving only Roman laying on his hands and knees with middle of the ring while everyone around him took pot shots at him.

Everything suddenly chanced as Hunter got out of the ring and walked over to the timekeepers' area and grabbed a chair. The men in the ring grabbed Roman and held him up like he was a sacrifice to the man.

"Roman!" She cried. "Get out of there! Come one." Her voice cracked as she watched Hunter raise the chair high into the air. Before it could hit the man, Roman broke out and hit the man with a Spear. However, she couldn't feel any relief as everyone started to gang up on him.

Not again. She shook her head. I'm not allowing this to happen again. Her body moved before she could even realize what she was doing; and the next thing she realized, she was standing in the middle of the ring pulling on Axel's arm trying to get him off of Roman.

"Fuck off." He waved her away, pushing her back towards the ropes. As she stumbled back, she tired to catch herself on the ropes like she had seen Dean so many time, but her hand slipped off the top rope and her body twisted as she came crashing down onto the floor. She hissed as her body bounced against the floor and she went sliding into the barricade.

D.D.D.

Fuck. Dean gritted his teeth as he rubbed his jaw and watched his best friend get dog piled. "I think it's time for some equalizers." He said looking over at Seth who was already holding a metal chair.

He smirked as he grabbed the metal chair from behind him. Without another word, both of them jumped into the ring and hit anyone and everyone in the way and soon no one but the two of them stood in the ring.

Still pissed off, Dean surveyed the remanding men in the ring and his eyes landed on Fandango who was laying right smack dab in the middle of the mat. Throwing the chair down on the mat, he reached down and grabbed the man. Lifting him up onto his feet, he tucked Fandango under his arm. "This is for messing with us." He said looking right into the wide camera not caring in the slightest if that was the one that they were using at the moment. He then threw his whole body into the DDT, hitting Fandango headfirst on the chair.

Stepping back, Dean let Seth take the main stage as he grabbed Axel and lined him up with the chair. Smirking Dean watched as Seth kicked him in the gut before taking off to hit the ropes. This is going to be brutal. And brutal it was as Axel's head came crashing down onto the chair.

Proud of their handy work, Dean grabbed the chair and started to pace around, that was when he noticed that Heath Slater was getting back up onto his feet. Dumb move. "Looks like we've got a straggler." He said pointing the chair at the man. "You should have stayed down." He warned him as Roman leaped up into the air and hit him with a Superman Punch. "I told you, you should have stayed down."

Roman threw the man out of the ring.

Yet, their task wasn't done, there was still one man left in the ring; Ryback. Poor sick fuck. They stepped backwards as Roman got into the corner of the ring and stared down Ryback. As soon as Ryback was up onto his feet, Roman launched himself out of the corner and plowed right into the bigger man's midsection.

The hit was so beautiful that it fueled Dean's adrenaline even more. Letting out a yell, he walked over to stand over the top of Ryback before proudly signing him a cross in the air. The man was condemned. It was only so long until Roman to call for the Triple Power Bomb.

Come on! Dean paced, name called and gritted his teeth. He didn't even know what was coming out of his mouth when he screamed at the crowd, he just knew that the fans were lapping it up.

Then came the battle cry he had been waiting for and within seconds Seth and he got Ryback up on Roman's shoulders. After getting into positions, the three of them used all their might to send the man straight down; the impact making all three of them bounce.

"That's what you're in for!" He screamed at Evolution. "We don't have to wait until Payback! We'll gladly give it to you right now."

Their theme hit the speakers, which meant two things one that even those backstage thought that they had one this one, and that the show as coming to a close.

Knowing that the camera crew was waiting for their fist bump, Dean paced around the font of the ring, ready to be joined by his bothers. However, that's when he noticed a small crowd of people in the front row calling for him.

"Dean!"

"Dean look over here."

"Dean!"

He ignored them at first, thinking that it was just a couple of fans trying to get his attention but then he heard one of them say something about Angel. Glancing over, his eyes landed on three men and a lady who were pointing to the floor. Cocking a brow, he looked down to where they were pointing, and he noticed Angel sitting there resting against the barricade looking as if she was out of breath.

Eyes wide, he quickly rolled out of the ring, landing next to her. "Angel, you alright?" He asked as he gave her a check over.

She nodded her head. "I'm…"

"Axel knocked her out of the ring." One of the fans that called him over head.

Instantly he regretted that they used the Triple Power Bomb on Ryback. Gritting his teeth, he helped her up onto her feet, make sure to keep an eye on her face for any winces. However, she was either ok, or she had gotten better at hiding it.

When the two of them got into the ring, they were instantly joined by Seth and Roman who gave her a pat on the shoulder, in their own way of asking if she was fine which she answered with a smile.

"Let's give them what they want." Roman said as he was the first one to put his fist in followed by Seth.

Smirking, Dean scooped Angel up onto his shoulder before putting his own fist into the mix. "You wanted to make me humble." He shook his head. "Do I look it yet?"

"Dean." He heard Angel chuckle above him.

"What darlin' don't like my smack talk?" He glanced up at her.

"It's not that, I just don't think you could look humble if you tried."

"Well that's true." He gripped her thighs a bit harder and giving her a wink.

"Save the flirting until later." Seth fake gaged as the lights dimmed saying that the show went off air.

After the crowd's cheers started to fade and Evolution went backstage with their tails hanging between their legs, he let Angel off his shoulder and four of them made their way out of the ring.

Still trying to keep some part of his hard persona up, Dean glanced down at Angel who seemed to be walking perfectly fine, but he was still worried about her. "Axel knocked you out of the ring?"

"It wasn't really on purpose." She sighed.

"What the hell were you doing in the ring?" They started up the ramp.

Angel gave a wave to a fan who had a sign that said 'Angel's the best Diva' on it. "I don't really know." She said between her teeth. "I kind of just moved."

He shook his head as he turned around on the top of the ramp where Seth and Roman were standing waiting to give the fans one last fist bump.

"What happened with Angel?" Roman asked they stared out into the crowd.

"Axel knocked her out of the ring."

"She was in the ring?" Seth questioned as they turned around and headed into the gorilla.

Dean nodded his head as he played with his apparently busted knuckle. "Apparently."

"Why the hell would you get into the ring while all that was going on?" Roman turned to look at Angel like she was nuts.

"I was trying to help." She said like it was no big deal. "I got flash backs to the last time the entire locker room ganged up on you and I didn't want a repeat."

"And you thought getting into the ring and pulling on Axel's arms was your best plan?" Seth laughed. "You really are prone to danger, aren't you?" He turned and patted Dean on his shoulder. "How many times does this make it?"

"Does this make what?" Angel asked.

"How many times have you gotten yourself into a stupid spot?"

A small blush came to her face as she pursed her lips together. "I mean…how long have I been your manager? You take that time and multiply how many enemies you have plus each match that I've been part of and I think you'll get and estimated answer."

Dean laughed as he threw his arm around her. "Alright, you little smart ass." He pulled her into his chest. "I think if everyone is feeling up to it, drinks are in order after tonight."

"Oh yeah." Roman nodded.

"Just remember we got flights tomorrow."

"All the more reason to drink." Seth laughed.

BrookeWorm3: I'm glad that you loved the last chapter, I hope you liked this one as well. Angel's promo was so hard to write. Because I couldn't tell if it sounded normal. Like something someone would really say, so I'm glad that you liked it.

Labinnacslove: They did need that moment together and many more.

Canadice; God, if it were real life. Don't even get me started, lol. I'm glad you liked it though. It makes me really happy and keeps me motivated to keep writing. This story is the longest thing I've written. Ever.

Katara melody Cullen: I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for the review like always.

Guest #1: I'm glad you liked the chapter. I know Seth isn't acting himself...

Bloody-Asphode11: Hi, this might be a little long because I'm going to try to answer all your reviews right here. I'm always in awe when people reread the story because it's very long and even I can't seem to get myself to do with, at least not without editing every chapter again because I hate my writing...lol. Moxley might come out to play. WINK. I want to write a Moxley but it's hard because I can't just watch all the episodes and ppv whenever I want to with AEW. If you saw it in the show, then the fans see it in the story. There are camera's everywhere backstage. Set up just to show the random stuff that happen behind scenes. I mean did you see Moxley vs Kenny Omega? That was very wow! I mean i loved it but not everyone feels the same.

Guest #2: I'm glad you liked the chapter. You'll just have to see about that foreshadowing. And i'm glad you liked the hot part of chapter. I try. Really I do.
