Welcome to Chapter Eighty Two. I hope you enjoy this chapter. I really worked hard on it.

Payback: June 1, 2014

There was an aura around the Shield, one that no one could place but everyone could feel. It was like a strange cloud was floating over them. Angel had felt it the moment she woke up. Dean had just gotten back from his morning run and the two locked eyes, but nothing was said between them. No 'good morning' or 'did you sleep well?' no, they two of them exchange small smiles before they silently got ready for the day.

The cloud had followed them to the gym, to the diner where they got lunch and now was hanging over them while they prepared for their fight. What was normally a loud, music filled, joyful moment of the boys pumping themselves up and throwing smack talk at the wall; was now a quiet, sluggish moment.

Even now as she helped Dean into his hoodie vest, she could feel that thick aura surrounding them. The only noise that filled the area was a small groan that came from Dean as he shrugged into his vest.

She watched him as he gave a roll of his neck before fixing the collar. He then turned around so that he was facing her. Without missing a beat, she stepped forward and finagled with the zipper until she was able to pull it up for him. Eyes locked with his, she then did up the two snap buckles before stepping back too look at her handy work.

She smiled at him. He looked good, like he always did. He also looked ready.

"Is Renee going to watch the match with you?" He asked saying more in one sentence then she could have sworn anyone said all day.

She nodded. "Her and Paige depending on how her match goes."

"Good." He shifted in his spot and played with the tape on his hand.

"Are you two ready?" Roman asked.

"Yep."

"Yeah."

They answered turning towards Seth and Roman. Angel sighed as she looked at both men who were waiting for them at the entrance to their makeshift locker room. It felt weird for everyone to be dressed up in their ring gear while she wore street clothes. Her red shirt and jeans stood out against all the black combat clothes.

"Let's get you boys out there for you match." She tired to smile at them.

As they walked out into the main part of the backstage area, there was a blast of action and loudness, which took her back. It was like the mood that the Shield was in tonight had made her forget that everyone else was going to pumped up and excited for the show that was coming to an end.

As they rounded the corner to the gorilla, Angel's eyes landed on the blond-haired reporter that was sitting on the edge of one of the tables filled with bottles of water. As much as she loved Renee and was so grateful the woman had made sure she was able to watch the match with her, Angel couldn't help but feel sad as she walked up to the woman.

She could give anything to be out there with the boys.

"Hey there." Renee smiled as she hopped off the table.

"Hey."

Renee walked up and put her arm around Angel's shoulders. "Don't you worry about this one. I got her." She told the three men. "You just go out there and kick some butt."

"Thank, Renee." Roman chuckled.

"We need the Shield." A crew member called out through the backstage.

Angel sighed as she watched the boys tense, but none of them moved. "Just a moment!" She called back towards the man as she stepped up and looked at each of the men. "Go make me proud."

"Promise." Seth nodded.

"You better cheer loud enough for us to hear you out there." Roman joked.

No witty comment came from Dean as he reached out and pulled her into him. Their lips met in a quick but needy kiss. One that had the same feeling as the one they shared at Extreme Rules.

When they finally pulled away from each other, Angel have him a breathless smile. "Good luck."

He smirked at her. "It's not luck, baby."

"We really need the Shield to get into place."

Dean smirk fell as he turned his attention towards the man. "Alight! We're coming!" He barked.

"You better go before production had a fit." She laughed as she patted him on the arm.

Those piecing blue eyes looked back her. "Be good."

"I'll try."

With that the boys turned and walked away from her. Her heart sank as she watched them go. This was the first time since she started as the Shield's manager that she had to watch them walk away, with the notion that she wasn't going to be able to join them.

"They're going to do great." Renee said once again wrapping an arm around her.

"I know." She sighed. "I know."

"Well, come on we got a champ to congratulate." Renee said pointing to the screen that showed Paige holding onto her Diva's title.

Trying to shake the bad feeling from her mid, Angel turned towards the curtains with a smile on her face. As the theme music came to an end, Paige walked through.

"There she is!" Renee clapped.

"Hey there champ!"

Paige smirked as she held up the title. "Hey, girls." She spun around.

"Good job out there."

"Congratulations."

They exchanged hugs. "Thank you, thank you." Paige said as she placed her title over her shoulders.

"Girls. You might want to move." A crew member warned them as Alicia Fox came screaming through the curtains.

Tears poured from the mad woman's face as she stomped through the gorilla, smacking and yelling at anything she could get her hands on. Letting out a high pitch screech the woman took off down the hallway towards the woman's locker room.

"Geez." Renee sighed as she shook her head.

"She's nuts."

Angel nodded in agreement.

"Well now that that mess is out of the way." Paige laughed. "We have a few Hounds to cheer for, don't we? Let's grab some chairs and take over a TV."

The three of them did just that. After grabbing a couple of waters, they appropriated some chairs from an unlocked room and pulled them up in front of a TV that was stationed a bit outside of the gorilla.

"Here we go." Renee clapped her hands as the video package finished up.

"This is a No Holds Barred Elimination match. There will be no count outs and no disqualifications." She heard Justin Roberts announce. "The first team to eliminate all three members of the apposing team will be declared the winners."

Evolution's theme played.

"Boooo!" Paige said loudly making everyone in the hallway look at her.

"What is Batista wearing?" Renee asked. "One of these things is not like the other."

"That's for sure." Angel nodded as she looked at Batista's blue outfit, from his tights to his socks and his arms bands.

After a moment of silence, the Shield's theme played and Angel's heart leap in her chest as she watched her boys walk down those steps.

"There they come the Hounds of Justice!" JBL yelled.

"This is going to be a collision. No Holds Barred Elimination" Cole said as he pimped out the twitter hashtag.

"Wait a minute, did you notice that Angel Miles the Shield's manager is with them tonight." Lawler was the one to notice.

I wanna be. Angel felt Renee pat her arm.

"That's probably a good thing, seeing that anything can happen tonight." She was shocked the JBL was the one who justified her absents.

Taking a deep breath, she watched as the boys got into the ring. "I hate this." She had forgotten how much the camera cut from the fan's views. She had gotten to spoiled being ringside that now the fact that she could glance between Seth, Dean, and Roman whenever she wanted to drove her nuts.

"The match hasn't even started and you're already bouncing in your chair." Paige pointed out. "Are you going to make it?"

"Probably not." She said truthfully.

The ref tried to control the match, tried to push the men back into their corner. But both teams had none of that. They just stood there bad mouthing each of each other. Realizing that it wasn't going to work, he called for the bell and all hell broke loose.

Angel watched wide eyed. She thought that it was hard keeping up with the action when she was there, now with the way the camera crew cut and moved between everything it was almost impossible.

All she could figure out from the mayhem was that Dean was fighting with Randy, Seth was hitting on Hunter and Roman had thrown Batista out of the ring.

"Holy shit!" Paige called as she shifted in her seat. "What a start."

At some point, the ring cleared so all she could see was Seth and Hunter. Trying her hardest she scanned the screen for just a glance of either Roman or Dean. That's when the camera cut to Randy pushing Dean out into the crowd.

"That didn't take long." She sighed.

Just as Randy and Dean started to lay fists into each other, the camera cut back to Seth landing on his feet after some move before hitting with a kick to the side of the head.

"Where's Roman!" She said frustrated as the camera cut back and forth from Dean and Randy to Seth and Hunter.

"Fighting in the crowd somewhere."

The somewhere was answered as finally the camera cut over to Roman and Batista for a split second before going to Dean throwing a punch at Randy, then a shot of Hunter laying on the floor.

"I can't stand this!"

"Angel settle down."

When she was about to get up out of her chair the shot stayed in one spot long enough for her to see Seth jumping off the barricade to land on Hunter. Which mean all three men were fighting out in the crowd somewhere and she was just catching glimpses of it.

The scene then cut to Roman and Batista just in time to see Roman sending Batista into one of the light panels on the stage, bending and knocking the thing over.

"Oh god."

"Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose had made their back into the arena. Right here in front of us at the announce table." Cole called as she watched Dean hope over the barricade and stock his way over to Randy.

She heard him give out a little growl as he slammed Randy's face into the announce table before it cut away to Seth being thrown against another barricade in the crowd.

"Dean Ambrose the eccentric member of the Shield has the Viper under control."

Good just let me see it! She yelled in her head as the screen cut five times in the last second, showing everything and nothing at the same time.

"This is hard to follow." JBL laughed.

"No kidding."

Suddenly everyone was back down at ringside. A feat that she wasn't quite sure how it happened.

Just as she was about to cheer on Roman for throwing Batista into the steel steps, her eyes widened in horror as Randy hit Dean with a spinebuster onto the barricade.

"Oooo." She saw Renee cringe out of the corner of her eyes.

When finally, a wide shoot was shown Angel almost jumped for joy. She could most of the action, from Roman taunting and parading around Batista who was laying on the ground, to Dean punching Hunter in the head over and over as the man held onto his belt. The only person she couldn't see was Seth. But as Randy stood there with a smirk as he stared at the floor, she figured that that was where the man was.

"Wow." She heard Dean worried noise come through the TV as the camera cut closer to him just in time to watch him spill over into the timekeepers' area. Her heart fell as they zoomed into to capture the pain in his face as he rolled around.

"Ambrose as been taken out, Rollins been taken out…" Cole said as the men around the ring seemed to gather themselves.

All of a sudden it looked like a normal was about to take place. Seth was up in the far corner, Hunter and Randy were in their corner while Roman and Batista were in the ring.

"What just happened?"

"I have no idea."

"So, after that, they're just going to pretend that they didn't just have a massive beat down and start a real match?" '

"I guess." She shrugged as Roman tagged out to Seth.

Seth quickly climbed up to the top rope before hitting Batista with a huge punch from above making the man double over.

As Roman hit Batista in the back of the head with an elbow, Angel's eyes widened as she noticed Dean climbing up on the apron. When did he get there? She wondered, happy to see him up and ready to go.

In the ring, Seth went to town on Batista. That was until Batista revered an Irish Whip and threw Seth into the far corner so hard that Seth flipped up and round on the ropes before falling on his face on the mat.

Batista covered and Seth kicked out.

Angel drew in a shake breath as watched Seth being beaten up in Evolution's corner. He was talking everything that Batista and Randy were giving him.

"Why are they fighting fair?" Paige asked. "This is a No Holds Barred match. Roman and Dean could run in there and help Seth."

Angel couldn't understand it either. Why were they chancing it?

Seth changed the game as he landed a kick to Randy's head, which stopped the man's momentum dead in his tracks.

Seth covered and Randy kicked out.

Not fazed by the kick out, Seth grabbed Randy and pulled him over to the Shield's corner before tagging in Dean, who quickly got into the ring and joined Seth for a Double Suplex.

"There's your boy."

She smiled as Seth and him went for their one, two hits. Seth with a knee to the head and Dean with his strange but effective arm drop.

"Ambrose." Cole chuckled as Dean stomped down on Randy's stomach while holding his feet in the air.

"Eccentric as you say." Lawler added.

"The Lunatic Fringe…" Cole paused as Dean stomped Randy again. "He's a strange bird but effective and Angel Miles his girlfriend seems to like him enough."

"They're talking about you girly!" Paige gave her a nudge.

"Well Angel is as crazy as he is." JBL chuckled. "Have you seen the way she puts herself into danger to protect the Shield?"

"I have. Angel has actually been hurt doing just that at the last Pay-Per-View Extreme Rules." Cole pointed out. "She tried to help Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as they fought through the crowd with Triple H and Randy Orton when Dean landed on her as he fell down the stairs."

"Yeah, she was out here limping for a few weeks after that."

"This one's for you!" She heard Dean's voice interrupt commentary as he put Randy into his favorite submission move. "Come on Randy. Come on."

"This guy loves to trash talk." Cole laughed as Dean raked at Randy's face.

After hitting Randy with a short clothesline, Dean went in for a pin that Randy kicked out of. Keeping ahold of Randy, Dean pulled him back into the Shield's corner and let Roman tag in.

When Roman tried to continue the fight that Dean had left off, Randy got the better of him and dropped him to the ground before tagging out to Batista.

The crowd booed as out of nowhere Roman plowed the man over with a huge clothesline.

"Reigns just blasted Batista, I mean absolutely blasted him." Cole shouted as Roman jumped up for a sweet looking Elbow Drop.

Cover and a kick out.

Batista made it to his feet only for Roman to hit him with a headbutt that must have had the man's head spinning as he walked back towards the Shield's corner with his hand out like he was about to make a tag.

Though the only tag made was Roman to Dean.

Dean got in and raked Batista's face against the ropes before talking off across the ring to build up more speed. However, when he came back across, Batista met him in the middle and scooped him up for a Spinebuster.

"Come on, Dean!" She clapped her hands as Dean kicked out of a cover.

Batista tagged out to Hunter, the fresh man in the match.

Angel stomach fell as she watched Hunter smash Dean's face into the turnbuckle before sending across the ring. Using his instincts, Dean got his boot up just in time for Hunter to run right into it.

The hit gave him enough time to slide over to corner and tag Roman back in.

"They really do, do quick tags."

She needed as Roman and Hunter stared each other down.

Like a trigger, the fight started with a lock up, and a shoulder tackle.

Another stare down happened making the tension in the ring now palpable through the tv. Now it was Hunter's turn start things off with a knee to the gut. Roman hunched over as Hunter pushed him back against the ropes before sending him off with an Irish Whip.

At the last second Roman revered the move, making the COO hit the rope. Roman gave a yell as he tossed Hunter over his shoulder before hitting him with a clothesline. Roman then grabbed Hunter by the arm and twisted him around before pulling him back into the Shield's corner.

As soon as his back hit the turnbuckle Dean tagged in.

Dean started in on Hunter for a bit before tagging out to Seth.

The crowd went nuts as Seth hit Hunter with one Suplex after another. He then went for a cover only for Hunter to kick out.

Didn't matter, Seth kept in control as he made yet another tag to Dean.

"Frequent tags by the Shield." Cole called as Dean got in and pushed Hunter into the corner.

Dean brought his boot up and stepped right onto Hunter's face applying all his weight as he lifted himself up onto the ropes. "Come on Hunter! Who's the man now, huh?"

Angel shook her head at the man as he took off across the ring, used the turnbuckles to turn him around before rolling himself into Hunter, smashing his head between him and the turnbuckles.

Dean pulled Hunter out of the corner and pinned him. But Hunter kicked out. Dean then did something he didn't do very often, go for the top rope. He readied himself for what she expected to be his Arm Drop only for Hunter to get his leg up just in time to hit Dean I the face.

Angel gasped as Dean fell like a rock from the move.

Hunter tagged out to Batista, who instead of getting into the ring, jumped down off the apron and pulled Dean out. Batista let out a growl as he threw Dean into the barricade. He then picked the man up and hit him neck first onto the thing.

"Oh god!" Angel jumped up from her chair knocking the thing over as she watched Dean hold his neck and struggle to breath.

"Angel!" Renee and Paige warned her.

Angel shook her head, preparing herself to run out there as Batista laid Dean in the ring with his head sticking out on the apron so that he could kick him in the side of the head. She cried for them to stop hitting him in the head as Batista kicked him again and Hunter hit him over and over.

Batista grabbed each of Dean's feet, tucking them in to his arms as he stood up. With a quick movement, the man in all blue fell back onto his back, dragging Dean up and forcing him to hit his neck against the bottom rope.

Dean bucked around as he felt his throat.

Cover and a kick out.

Batista tagged out to Randy who got in and started stomping on any part of Dean he could. His legs, his arms, his hand….

She hated this. She hated this when she was at ringside, hated it even more now that she was watching it through a screen.

Randy kept punishing him with stomps to the gut that mimicked the ones that Dean did earlier to him before he tagged out to Hunter.

Hunter stalked over to Dean before sitting on the man's chest and delivering punch after punch to the man's head and if that wasn't enough, he then hit him with a knee to the head before going for a cover.

Dean kicked.

She was in aw when Dean was able to fight back and throw Hunter out of the ring. However, that seemed to be all the gas in his body at the moment as he fell right now to his stomach.

"Come on, Dean!" The three girls cheered.

"He's crawling!" She heard Randy warn Hunter. "He's crawling."

"Dig deep!"

"Come one!" She heard Seth and Roman calling toward him.

Hunter came rushing in, kicking the man in the head stopping any sort of momentum that he had. After hitting him with yet another knee to the head, Dean went spilling against the ropes, only to catch himself before launching himself right at Hunter with a huge clothesline.

Both men where down.

Hunter just laid there as Dean flopped around like a fish as he tired to crawl his way back to the Shield's corner.

"Come on!" She prayed as Dean inched closer.

"A tag!" Cole yelled.

Relief rushed her as she watched Roman race into the fight, while Dean rolled out onto the floor.

As Roman cleared house, taking out everything in his way, mainly Batista who was now the legal man for Evolution, Angel kept her eyes on the spot where she last saw Dean. When the camera's cut back to a wide shot, her couldn't help but let out a small breath as she saw Seth over by the barricades. Though she couldn't see Dean, she knew that Seth was making sure the man was ok. Thank you, Seth.

Drawing her attention back to the fight, she watched as Roman hit Batista with that beautiful Drive By kick. Roman paraded around the ring pumping himself up for what was to come. He quickly back himself into the far corner and a huge smirk appeared on the man's face.

'Locking and loading' his fist Roman pushed himself out of the corner and hit the still stumbling man with the Superman Punch.

"Cover, cover!" All of them called as Roman did just that.

However, before the ref got to the count of three, Randy jumped into the ring and broke the pin by attack Roman.

Dean and Seth were almost instantly in the ring taking on Randy and Hunter who came to protect their teammate. And once again chaos broke up in the ring.

Dean hammered on Randy while Seth took on Hunter and it wasn't long before the fights spilled out of the ring. In the far back, Angel watched as Dean tossed Randy into the barricades. While in the front Hunter did the same to Seth.

The camera then cut back to Dean who was fighting with Randy to get control, both men trying to hit the other one against the steel post of the ring. Randy won the fight as Dean's head hit the metal.

Angel had very little time to worry about him as the screen the cut to Seth being dumped into the crowd once again.

"Here we go again." Renee sighed as the camera followed Hunter and Seth back to the tech area.

Hunter had control of Seth completely as he hit his head off of one travel case after another. The carnage only stopped when they did a quick cut back to show Dean smashing both his fists into Randy's back.

When it went back to Seth and Hunter, Angels eyes went right to Hunter who was fighting with something.

"What is that?" Cole asked the question that was on the tip of her tongue.

"Don't matter." Lawler answered as Seth climbed up onto the travel cases and made his way around to attack Hunter.

At last second Hunter brought whatever he was fighting with up and hit Seth with it. The noise echoed through the speakers. Her mouth fell open as she watched Seth just lay there, like he was out cold.

"What the hell was that?"

"I think it was a monitor."

"Oh god really?"

Once again, her eyes were forced to look away as the screen now showed Roman pulling apart the Spanish announce table. Though before he could get even the second monitor off the table, Randy and Hunter came to shut him down.

Hunter threw Roman into the steel steps as Randy finished clearing off the table.

"Reigns is just down and out, and I have no idea where Rollins and Ambrose are."

Fear went though Angel as she watched what was now the slow, methodical pace of the three men standing. They weren't in a hurry to do anything, which meant that they weren't worried about Dean and Seth coming to stop them.

Sick to her stomach, she watched as Hunter picked Roman off the floor. Evolution set Roman up for the Triple Powerbomb. Tears brimmed in her eyes as she watched the man go through the table.

Now there was an eerie calm to what was supposed to be a high energy match. That was until Evolution stepped together to put their fists together to mock the Shield. The crowd went nuts for something she couldn't see and suddenly Dean came flying through the air, launching himself at the three men.

Bodies hit the floor every which way.

"Where did he come from?"

"Does it really matter?"

"Nope." She shook her head. She didn't care where he came from, she was just glad that he was safe and still good enough to throw himself around.

Another surprise came as Seth somewhere came flying across the ring, planting himself right onto of Hunter and Randy who had tried to crawl away from the mess that Dean had made.

The show cut around to show each of the men holding onto their stomachs and limbs before cutting back to Dean who was helping Seth to his feet. He pointed towards both Randy and Hunter who were once again trying to escape.

Angel shook her head at the screen as she watched, Dean hammered Randy against the barricade. Hunter put an end to that, he grabbed Dean and pulled him up the ramp before hitting him headfirst into the metal part of the barricade.

When Hunter stepped out of the way of the camera, she saw Dean leaning there, both arms wrapped around the thing as he tried to catch his breath while fans patted every part of him that they could reach.

In the background of the shot, Angel could see Seth being beaten towards the stage while Batista turned his attention towards Dean who was trying to get himself off the almost fence like barricade.

"Set up a chair!" She heard Randy call as the man leaned over Dean.

Her eyes widened as he grabbed Dean by the arm, making him unable to protect himself before giving him a huge kick to the stomach.

A chair came into play, she wasn't sure how, but Hunter had one and hit both Seth and Dean in the back with it. But the punishment wasn't done there, as Randy set up a standing chair before grabbing Dean. Angel's heart thumped in her chest at the same time Dean's back hit the chair.

"I can't watch this any longer." She said going turning to leave.

"Angel, where are you going?" Renee asked.

Angel whipped around just in time to see Hunter hit Seth with a Pedigree onto the chair. "I'm going to go help my boys."

R.R.R.

Renee sighed as she grabbed Paige's arm as the woman stood to go after Angel.

"Renee what are you doing?" Paige asked. "We're supposed to be making sure she doesn't do exactly what she's doing."

Renee shook her head and turned back towards the TV. She knew that there wasn't any stopping her now. During the time that they had known each other, Renee had gotten pretty close to the younger girl. Close enough to know that when Angel was determined there was almost no stopping her. However, this time she saw more then determination on her face. It was a look that Renee had she had only seen one other time. It was way back in February, back during Elimination Chamber, when Renee had told Dean that Angel was stuck in the supply closet and he demanded her to show him where.

No one not even a metal fucking door could stop Dean then and nothing short of one could stop Angel now.

"Wait a minute, that's Angel Miles up on the stage. That's Angel Miles the Shield's manager checking on Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose."

A.A.A.

Angel dropped to her knees right next to Seth. She ran her eyes along the man to see if he had any visible injures before reaching over him and taking his hand in hers. "Seth?" She gave his hands a little squeeze hoping to get one back. "Seth, can you hear me?"

"Yeah." He said squeezing her hand.

She nodded her head, knowing she wasn't going to get much more out of the man. Her eyes darted over to where Dean was contorted in a weird way as he tried to keep his weight off his back. She crawled over to him and did the same things she did for Seth.

"Dean." She said taking his hand in both of hers bring it towards her face. "Dean, can you hear me?"

Dean's entire boys seemed to jackhammer off the floor for a moment before those blue eyes snapped opened and landed on her. "Angel?"

"Hey." She smiled down at him.

"W-what… the hell… are you doing ou-out here?" He asked the words shaking on his lips.

She went to apologize for not listening to him, but a huge hit from the ring drew her attention away. Her eyes widened as saw Evolution all surrounding a man dressed in all black. Roman. She gasped as she scrabbled to her feet. However, before she could move, Dean pulled back on the hand he was holding.

"Don't" He ordered

"Sorry, Dean." She ripped herself out of his grasp before racing down the ramp towards the ring.

As she made her way down to the ring. Hunter smashed Roman's face against the steels steps that Batista had brought into the ring. Tears started to pool in her eyes as she watched Randy and Batista walk around Roman with Kendo sticks in their hands.

Sliding under the bottom rope, she raced over and grabbed Hunter's arm. She pulled as hard as she could on the man making him stumble backwards and away from Roman, he was holding still for the two men beating him.

"Look who decided to show." Hunter smirked as he looked back at Randy. "Welcome. Are you enjoying the show?"

Batista hit Roman with the Kendo stick in his hand.

"Did you come to join in the fun?"

Randy hit Roman.

Emotions of all kinds built in her as she glanced from Roman who laid like a sacrifice over the steel steps to Hunter who she still had a grip on.

"You bastard." She spat at him.

"I'm the bastard?" Hunter laughed as another hit rang out. "The only bastard here is your boyfriend."

Her body moved, acted on its own as her arm swung out and she punched Hunter in the side of the jaw as hard as she could. But the man didn't budge, his eyes never faltered. Her hand was now stinging from the hit that she put all of her might into and he wasn't even fazed.

"Good try." He ran in tongue on the inside of his mouth. "Dave!"

She felt Batista's hands grab her shoulders as Hunter took the stick in his hand. She tried to struggle against his hold as both Hunter and Randy took turns hitting Roman over and over and over. By the time they stopped the assault, her tears were streaming down her face.

Instantly, when Batista's hold loosened up, she pulled herself out of his grasp and threw herself next to Roman. "Hey." She said through her tears as she grabbed his hand.

"Babygirl, get out of here." He told her as he crawled away from the steps.

She shook her head as she noticed Randy coming back with a chair. However, as she went to stand in front of Roman, a tattooed arm came and pushed her out of the way.

She watched in awe as Roman somehow had the ability to hit Randy with a Superman Punch. Though before he could get out of the way, Hunter and Batista were on him again with those sticks.

"Stop!" She called rushing to help him, but once again he pushed her away before he took the chair shot from Hunter. Roman rolled out of the ring and onto the floor.

And she followed. Her eyes locked on the three men who were clearing the ring she tugged on his arm. "Roman, come on get up." She pleaded with the man.

"Angel, leave."

D.D.D

Dean rolled onto his side and watched the massacre of his best friend that was going on down by the ring. God, Roman was taking shot after shot to his back all while trying to protect Angel who had done what he had feared.

The moment he heard her voice, he thought they had lost. But then he realized that he was still on the stage and that all pins must take place in the ring, which meant the match was still going. As registered that Angel was out here during the match, his mind sent up so many red flags. His priority went from kill Evolution to get Angel out of here safety.

Crawling his way towards the small wall of half broken lights, Dean tried to find some sort of weapon. Something that he could use but other then a road case and a coil of wire there wasn't much to go with behind the thing.

The sounds of a metal chair hitting someone, a noise he knew oh too well, rang out closer than it had before, meaning that the fight had worked its way up to the stage again.

Leaning out from the behind the wall of lights, he saw Hunter, Randy and Batista as they practically beat Roman up the ramp.

Drawing in whatever energy he had left, he launched himself at Randy.

"Get away from him!" He growled as he pushed the man off Roman. He tired his hardest to keep each member of Evolution away from his teammate, but the three on one became to much and soon he found himself under all three men, smashed into the stage.

Not having anything in him to fight back against the three men, he couldn't stop himself being draped over the working light wall. He felt himself being pulled forward until just his feet were caught on the thing. Knowing what was going to happen, Dean took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

Sudden rush of movement came and his suddenly his body hit the floor. Pain ricocheted up from his head, up his spine and down his legs. He was going to be need more then a good night's rest to work this one off.

"Dean!" Angel's voice brought him back once again from the brink.

He looked up to see her hovering over him with worry and tears in her eyes, his mouth opened to tell her to get back, but his eyes caught something that had him in awe. My head's playing tricks. He said thinking he got hit few too many times in the skull.

Surly Seth wasn't standing on the top of the set looking down at the members of Evolution who had gone back to picking on Roman.

"Oh my god?" Angel brought her hands up to her mouth.

"You see him too?"

Seth jumped and landed on all four men. As they came crashing to the ground, Dean grabbed onto Angel's foot. He didn't want her going anywhere near that pile of men.

"Angel." He called to her, his voice hoarse. "Angel leave, please. Get backstage."

She shook her head with her eyes locked on the carnage that laid right beside them.

"Angel!" He barked drawing her attention. "Please."

A.A.A

Angel heard Dean begging her to leave but she couldn't. She was frozen in her spot on the stage as she watched Seth and Batista somehow take the match back down to the ring. Was this fight ever going to finish?

Batista speared Seth before grabbing him for the Batista bomb. Though as soon as he was up on Batista's shoulders, Seth managed to keep the momentum going and used it to push himself out of the man's hold.

Batista turned around, when Roman launched himself across the ring and into the man with a Spear of his own.

"How?" Angel questioned as she looked around to realize that none of the men were up on the stage anymore.

"One. Two. Three."

"Batista had been Eliminated!"

Her eyes widened as her head snapped back towards the ring to see Seth and Batista laying next to each other. Seth had just eliminated Batista, which meant that it was three on two now.

However, any hope she had was drawn away as Randy hit Seth with an RKO. Randy covered and just as she thought Seth was eliminated, Roman came out of nowhere again, saving him.

Not happy, Randy grabbed Roman and pulled him threw the ropes, setting him up for a Vintage Randy Orton, or the elevated DDT. But before the man could even get Roman all the way through the ropes, Dean came in with a chair and hit Randy in the back.

After making sure that Roman was out of harms way, Dean threw the chair onto the mat and grabbed Randy. Angel's eyes widened once again as she watched Dean plant the man right on top of the chair with a Dirty Deeds before coving him as quick as he could.

"One. Two. Three!" The crowd went nuts.

"Randy Orton has been Eliminated."

Three on one. The air caught in her throat as she started down the ramp. The boys could do it. All they had to do was pin Hunter and it was over.

Something she knew was easier said then done as she watched Dean fight to get back up onto his feet. The man looked like a baby deer trying to learn how to walk. Once he did get up onto his feet, Dean grabbed Hunter by the head.

"Come on, Dean." She cheered as he pulled the man towards the middle of the ring. However, before he could do anything his whole body jumped up off the mat as his face twisted up in pain.

Angel cringed as she watched Dean double over from the pain. Hunter had hit him with a Low Blow aka he hit him below the belt. She couldn't believe that Hunter would stoop so low. Yes, the move was legal in this match that didn't make him any less of an asshole for doing it.

Shaking her head, she watched as Hunter used the moment he got from the move, to grab Dean for a Pedigree, only for Roman to come charging in with a Superman Punch.

"That's it!" She said quickly walking around the ring to where Dean had rolled himself. "Cover him!" She called just as Batista came out of nowhere and hit Roman with a Spear.

She gasped as she tried to figure out what just happened. Batista was eliminated from the match, meaning he was supposed to be sent to the back so that he couldn't interfere with the match, and yet.

She glared at the man who was finally listing to the rules, she helped Dean up so that he could lean against the barricade. That's when another person she wasn't expecting to see caught her attention, Randy Orton.

He was walking along the side of the ring, looking as if he was trying to find something. She watched intensely as he lifted the skirt from around the ride of the ring and reach under. "Oh no." Her eyes widened as he pulled out Hunter's sledgehammer.

"Shit." Dean groaned from beside her.

She felt him tense as Randy gave the hammer to Hunter. "Dean don't…"

It was too late the man pushed himself up and into the ring, and right into the sledgehammer. A cry ripped from Angel as Dean took the thing to the head for the second time this week. She rushed over to ringside as his body fell straight down.

Grabbing the man's hand, she kept her eyes on what was going on in the ring. Roman was slowly making his way back to his feet while Hunter watched him like a hawk with that hammer in his hand.

Just as it looked like Hunter was about to make his move, something came flying out of the air, knocking into the COO. The something was Seth.

The hit made Hunter stumble which gave Roman just enough time to like up the shot. Spear!

"Cover him!" She begged as Roman did just that.

"One. Two. Three!"

Ding. Ding. Ding.

The air was pushed from Angel's lungs. The Shield had won! They pulled off another impossible victory. In fact, they had won by a clean sweep.

Covering her mouth, she looked around at the scene in front of her and she couldn't help but cry.

"Hey." She heard a weak gruff voice. Looking down she saw Dean laying there looking up at her with his hand raced towards her face. She took it instantly and placed a kiss on his bruised knuckles. "We won…why the tears?"

"I can't stop them."

The corner of his mouth curled a little bit as he rolled himself farther into the ring, giving her room to climb up onto the apron. Being as careful as she could, she walked around the strewn bodies until she got to Roman.

"Big Man, you ok?" She said as he moved the hair from his face.

"A little worse for wear." He coughed as she forced his body to spin around, his eyes landing right where Seth was half hanging out of the ring. "Buddy?" He called even those his voice wasn't more then a whisper.

She tired to help the man as he crawled his way over towards Seth. With a shaky hand, he reached out and grabbed the man's pant leg. Seth raised his head and the two men looked at each other.

"We did it." Roman said as he reached out for Seth's hand. Seth took it and spun himself around with it.

"Yeah, we did."

Angel took a moment to kneel beside Seth. "How are we doing?"

"I'll let you know once my head stops spinning." He clenched his eyes. "I should be fine, go check on lover boy."

Giving him a small smile, she went to do just that when she stopped dead in her tracks. Roman had crawled his way over to Dean and had grabbed his hand just like he did Seth's but there was something more in this. The two men locked eyes and leaned into each other.

"We did it, Uce." Roman chuckled. "We did it."

"That we did, my brotha."

She bit her lip as she watched the two best friends check on and congratulate each other. All three men were best friends, but Roman and Dean were certainly something more. They were as they called each other, brothers. Family.

"Excuse me." Seth said as he gently pushed past her. "Come on boys, let's give the people what they want."

Roman nodded as he used the ropes to get to his feet.

"I don't know if I can stand, the world is spinning too fast for me." Dean said as he tired but failed to get up. Both Roman and Seth quickly grabbed the man and pulled him to his feet. Something which wasn't an easy feat.

Once he was up, Angel took her place next to the man and he slung an arm around her. "You're not going to try to lift me this time, are you?"

"Nope." He said as he wobbled up next to Roman. "Not that dumb." Using her as a crutch, Dean reached out and placed his fist out to meet his brothers.

Angel's eyes ran down the line of men and she smiled. They did it!

Once the lights feel to let them know that the show was over, they let their arms down and each of the men stumbled backwards. Dean and her tumble towards one side, Seth into the corner, and Roman straight backwards. Now with the two hundred and twenty-five-pound man was completely hanging on her, Angel couldn't keep both of them standing. Pulling her with him, Dean fell down against the bottom rope with a groan.

"You ok?" He asked as the lights came back up.
"Yeah I'm good." They untangled themselves from each other.

"Are you guys ok?" The ref asked.

Everyone nodded as they pushed themselves once more to their feet.

A rush of energy washed through them as they started to celebrate their win. She watched as the boys, battered and bruised, egged on the crowd, climbed the ropes and yelled. Just like the always did after a hard-fought battle.

The only difference is she could see the pain in their eyes as they moved, could hear the gravel in their voices as they spoke. The match really did a number on them.

The celebration quickly spilled out of the ring, where Seth climbed up onto the announce table as Dean swung around a Kendo stick.

Shaking her head, she rolled out of the ring and joined the boys on the outside, just in time for Seth to toss around a piece of the broken Spanish announce table.

"Angel!" Dean called to her as he waved her over. Brows drawn together, she turned and walked over to him and Roman. She watched as both of the men climbed up onto the remaining table.

Ah. She said know knowing what he wanted. He wanted her to join them. Reaching up to grab onto his arm, she pulled herself with his help onto the table before carefully stepping around the monitor.

When Seth joined them, Angel sidesteps so she was in front of Dean making room for the madman who was swing around another kendo stick. If Seth slipped at all with that thing, he was going to hit JBL or Michael Cole.

"Let's do this right!" Dean yelled from above her as his arm shot out over her shoulder. Seth and Roman instantly joined in the fist pump as the crowd in front of them went nuts.

She had to practically force the boys backstage as they were too pumped up by their win. But they had to get going for their interview for Fallout. They weren't going to be late this time.

"How the hell did you even get up onto the set?" Dean asked Seth as they walked.

"There's a ladder."

Dean pursed his lips. "Huh. Kind of takes the mystic away from the moment."

A hardy, groan filled chuckle filled the hallway as they got to the curtained off area where the interviews were being held.

"Right on time." The stagehand said as she pointed up the steps.

They each climbed the stairs a bit slower than normal. By the time they each took a seat and sat down the energy that was just surging through them from the win was now falling. She could see the effects take its toll as Roman downed half his bottle of water, Seth put his hair up, and Dean just leaned forward and face planted against the table.

"At the podium the Shield."

"Guys, you had a brutal battle with Evolution just a month ago at Extreme rules, though seemed tonight that it was even more… brutal. Can you talk about the match tonight and the brutality?"

Did that even classify as a question? Angel wondered as she rubbed Dean's back.

"It was umm." Seth voice was low. "It was war, I mean there's really no other way of putting it. You know we go out there with a game plan every single night. But at the end of the day its really all about survival. And at the end of the day we were the ones with our hands raised. So, we're survivors' man, that's all we got."

Dean's head perked up. "The biggest difference between us and them in this whole scenario is WE DON'T FREAKIN' CARE, MAN, we don't care. We'll take it to a whole different level, and it doesn't matter. You know if things start get a little hairy, they start to slow down, start to second guess themselves, and questioning the decisions that they're making. They're asking themselves, 'do I really want to be here, right now'? We want to be there. We want to be in the nastiest, ugliest fights in the freakin' world…" Dean said sounding a little off. She started to worry about the hit to the head that he took. "And we were." He smirked. "We got what we wanted and that's why we won."

As if all the energy that he had left has just been used up by his little speech, his head slowly fell back down to the table.

"Everything hurts. I think my triceps is torn." Roman said making her lean across the table at the man. "I got hit with at least fifty stick shots, chairs. Pain is temporary, our pride and honor is forever."

Dean leaned back up. "That's good. That sucks that there's already a t-shirt that says that…" He glanced at her. "There is already a shirt that says that, right?"

"I think so."

"Fuck…"

"Dean."

"I mean fudge."

Katara Melody Cullen: I'm glad you enjoyed Angel playing dirty. Lol That was a fun part to write and to imagine!

Labinnacslove: Don't worry about her design too much. I have plans for them.

BrookeWorm3: Seth most certainly will get it here soon. We all know what's about to happen.

Canadice: Here's more! Well it helps that I am using a day to day world because thought it's eighty two chapters for us, which is a long time it's only really like five months for them.

Samcoo 12: I'm glad that you're liking the story. I was scared when I started to write this that people were going to think she's boring and too innocent but I'm glad that her growth is being seen as well as Dean's.

Guest: So I realized that more then one guest can write a review so I can't just assume I know who this is, so if this is Sonia then hi again if it isn't I'm really sorry. But thank you for your review. I'm glad that you're like the fluff moments. And I was trying to give Seth one more night with his team before he does what he's going to do.
