Welcome to Chapter Eighty Four! I had a hard time writing this chapter. I wanted to show both Dean and Angel having a hard time with what happened but at the same time, enjoying their time together. I hope you enjoy!

Tuesday: June 3, 2014/Wednesday: June 4, 2014

Dean groaned as he walked off the plane, somehow Angel had talked him into coming home with her instead of going to Vegas by himself. Talking him into it was an overstatement all she had to do was bat those fucking lashes at him and tell him that she didn't like the idea of him being alone after what happened, and he couldn't help but to agree.

Which was smart, him having a whole week by himself just stewing in his own thoughts, probably wasn't the best idea. Dean's mind was already running wild and racing with thoughts that would make other wonder if he should be committed or something.

But now as his eyes landed on her parents, who were waiting for them, he regretted agreeing to come to Pittsburgh.

How are you going to face them, after what happened?

When they got within feet of them, Evelyn reached out and pulled her daughter into a hug. It didn't take long for Dean to realize that the Miles family were huggers, but this wasn't like any of the other hugs he had seen between daughter and mother. This was a woman grasping onto her child like she would disappear if she let go. Which was probably due to the fact that they had to sit at home and watch her get hit with a chair by the soon to be dead bastard Seth Rollins.

Dean couldn't even imagen what it would be like to be a parent, sitting down to support your child and her teammates, only to be forced to watch their own child get hit by one of the people she was supposed to be able to trust.

Guilt hit him hard as he clenched his fist and swayed on his feet.

Dean's mind flashed back to Angel being hurt. The haunting image of her face smashing into the mat filled his vision, as the sounds of her scream echoed in his ears.

A heavy hand came down and landed on Dean's shoulder, making him jump. Looking up, he saw Angel's father Chris standing there watching him.

Dean opened his mouth to say something, apologize, anything; but nothing came out. What the hell could you say to a man that you promised to protect his daughter only to fail? Was there anything he could say. I'm sorry, didn't seem to cut it.

Before he could figure out what to say, he was pulled into a strong hug.

His body shot tense. Sure, Chris has giving him a hug goodbye when they left after Easter, but that was a quick 'nice to meet you, thanks for coming' hug, not a hold onto you fatherly embrace like this one was.

Fatherly embraces weren't something that Dean was used to. Only getting a handful in his lifetime, Regal, Roman's father Sika, and even his old mentor Thatcher had giving him one when he needed it the most.

And now Chris Miles was another name that he could add to that list.

"Well." Angel's mom sniffled. "Let's get the two of you back to the house so you can rest."

The conversations the whole way back to the house was light, small talk that for once Dean was happy to engage in. He didn't think he could handle getting into the serious conversations right at the moment.

What you don't want to inform everyone on how you want to punch Seth's face into the point that they're going to have to surgically remodel him a new face? He asked himself.

When they got to the house, everyone piled out of the car.

Groaning and stretching his sides, Dean walked around the car to help get the bags, which Chris were already unloading and putting into a pile on the sidewalk.

Before Dean could grab a single bad, Evelyn came over and grabbed Angel's carry on and laptop bag. Something that made Angel shake her head, though she didn't say a thing as she turned around and followed the woman. Dean knew she had taken the L with grace only due to the fact that between her parents and him, she knew she wasn't going to win. None of them were going to let her carry anything.

Smirking slightly, Dean turned his attention towards his things only for everything to picked up by Chris. The man had his carryon and gym bag thrown over his shoulders while he took both Angel's and his suitcases in each hand.

"I can take that." Dean sighed as he pointed to his bag.

Chris turned towards him and nodded. "I know." He shut the trunk and walked away.

A.A.A

Angel's tense body almost instantly relaxed as she walked into her home. It felt good to know that she didn't have a anything to worry about for the next few days. That she didn't have to wrangling three…two men for a while.

"I already go the guest room ready for you two." Angel heard her mom say. "So, if you want to take a nap, you can."

"Thanks Mom." Angel smiled as she turned toward the woman who was placing her bags on the couch.

Angel's heart fell as her mom met her smile. Tears built in her mother's bright green eyes. As if she realized that Angel was staring at her, Evelyn dropped her eyes to one of the cushions on the couch and fluffed it.

"If you're hungry, there's spaghetti on the stove." She turned her attention the other cushion gave it the same treatment. "Though I have to put the garlic bread in. That'll take about ten minutes."

"Mom." Angel tried to stop her mother's rambling.

"Oh! I'm going to be heading to the store here in a bit so if you guys need anything, just made a list and I'll pick it up."

"Mom." She tired against to gain the woman's attention when her Dad and Dean came through the door.

"Honey, would you be so kind and take those up to the guest room for me." Her mom smiled sweetly at her husdand. "I'm going to preheat the oven for the garlic bread." Without another word the woman took off towards the kitchen.

Glancing back at Dean who looked just about as taken back as she was, Angel shook her head and chased after her mom. "Hey, Mom."

"Huh?" She called as she messed with the stove like she hadn't used it almost everyday since they bought it five years ago.

"Can you look at me?"

Evelyn glanced over her shoulder. "Sorry, honey give me a second." She fumbled some more with some of the buttons. "Dean does like spaghetti, right? I forgot to ask."

Angel sighed. "Dean will eat pretty much anything you place in front of him. Mom will you please look at me for just a moment."

When she finally looked at her those tears that were building in her eyes were know threatening to overflow. "What is it?"

Angel took a deep breath. "Ever since Dean and I arrived you've been holding something in." She stepped up to her and grabbed her arms. "You're allowed to let it out."

The woman's watery eyes widened for a moment before she pulled her into yet another bone crunching hug. As she held on tight, Angel could feel her mom cry against her shoulder and guilt hit her.

There was no excuse that a child could make for making their parent cry like this.

"We were so s-scared."

Angel nodded knowing that she was talking about what happened last night. "I'm sorry, Mom."

"How could he do that to you three?" She asked the question that everyone was trying to figure out.

"I don't know." Tears started to build in her own eyes. "I don't know, Mom."

"But we intend to find out." Dean's voice rained over them, making them pull back to see him standing there with his arms cross over his chest.

Angel watched as her mom turned towards the man with a smile on her face. She nodded. "How are feeling, Dean? Do you need anything. We got Tylenol but if you prefer Advil or something else, I'm going to make store run and I'll pick it up while I'm out."

Dean shook his head. "I'm fine, Evelyn. Don't worry too much about me."

Angel chuckled when her mom when to fight back. "Trust me, Mom it's easier to just let him do what he wants."

The woman scoffed at him like only a mother could. "You need to take better care of yourself."

"So, I've been told." Dean said looking at her.

The rest of the day went on without anything too exciting happening. Once the garlic bread was finished, they all sat down to have dinner, in which her parents dominated most of the conversation. Something she knew that both of her and Dean were happy about.

After they ate, or more accurate after everyone else eat and she played with the pile of noodles on her plate, her mom when shopping just like she said she would and her dad excused himself to his office to work on some paperwork that he brought home.

Which left both her and Dean alone. On a normal night, this might have lead to some cuddling on the couch, making out in her room, maybe even some quick heavy touching; but she knew right now neither of them were up for it.

"I'm going to take a nap." She said as she scrapped the left-over food into the trash.

Dean nodded from where he leaned against the island. "God that sounds good."
"Wanna come join me." She looked over her shoulder.

"Nah, I'm going to use this time to get in quick workout because I don't think I'm going to get much of one if your mom has anything to say anything about it."

She chuckled. "Just go easy on yourself, ok?"

He shook his head. "I'm just going to work out the stiffness from the flight."

She placed her plate in the sink before making her way over him. Stepping up on her tip toes she gave him a quick peck. "Alright, you know where to find me if you need me."

His arms wrapped around her, holding her against him lightly. There was a small spark in his eyes that made her think that maybe Dean was up for something. But as quick as it came the quicker it was replaced with the dazed anger that had been in them since Monday.

After giving each other another kiss, this one was a little longer than the last one, they parted, and both walked up stairs to the guest room. As she made herself at one in the queen size bed, Dean grabbed out a pair of shorts, a wife beater and his sneakers out of his gym bag.

Fighting the sleep that was trying to take her as soon as her head hit the pillow, she watched as Dean got changed into his workout clothes. Only to let out a small gasp when he took off his shirt. Though this time it wasn't because of his toned physic. His torso was covered in bruises.

She had seen them this morning and last night but each time her eyes landed on the dark patches of skin her heart leaped in her chest and she felt like crying. A small broken noise came from her as traced the darkest one that ran up his back with her eyes.

Hearing her, Dean turned around and drew his brows together. "You ok?"

"I just…" She sighed. "Your bruises."

Dean looked down at himself and sighed. "We've been through this, they're just bruises, darling. I'm always covered in them."

"I know. It's just not normally this many."

Dean walked up to the side of the bed and leaned over her, their forehead touching. "Even if my whole body was covered, if every bone in my body was broken, I wouldn't stop." He smirked. "It takes a lot more then that took keep your man down."

"Tell me something I don't know." She gave a weak chuckle.

He kissed her as he stood up. "And just think of how bad Seth's going to look when I get my hands on him. He's going to look a whole hell of a lot worse than this." He put his arms out wide before walking back to his bag and pulling out his water bottle.

"Now get some rest." He ordered her. "You look like you're three seconds away from passing out anyway."

With one more kiss, Angel rolled over and fell asleep.

D.D.D.

Dean huffed and puffed as he tired to keep his breath up with the punishing pace, he had set for himself on the treadmill. He had the thing inclined as high as it would go and going faster then he normally would go.

His legs felt like they were ready to give out on him, his ribs felt like they were stabbing him with each movement, his lungs were on fire and his sweat burned eyes. But he didn't stop. He deserved every second of the pain that he was filling. He wanted the pain.

It kept his fucked-up mind away from those dark thoughts. He could handle the ones about how he was going to get even with Seth. He welcomed those, no matter how gruesome they got.

What he couldn't stand was the feeling he got when he thought about either Angel or Roman. Seth betrayed you, not them. He tried to tell himself over and over. But the doubt still lingered there.

What if they're playing you? What if they have a plan to strip you down one person at a time? Frist Seth, then your best friend, and then your girlfriend.

NO! He yelled as he pushed himself even harder. They wouldn't do that to him. They wouldn't. Roman was his family, the first person in all of WWE to step up and try to be his friend instead of call him a lunatic. He was Roman's Uce, a word that meant close friend or brother in the Samoan culture.

My family is yours, Uce.

What?

Uce?

Yeah, what the hell does that mean.

Brother.

He could remember the first time the man had ever called him Uce. And it wasn't something that the man said all the time. Only when he knew Dean really needed to hear it.

You don't know Angel that well.

He knew that she wouldn't hurt him like that. She was the type of person to wear her emotions on her sleeve. He could always tell whatever she was feeling. And just the way she looked at him before, he could see how much she cared about him. Could see the worry as he told her that he wanted to work out.

There was no reason to worry about them.

There was no reason to worry about Seth either.

He shook his head. That wasn't true. Unlike him and Roman, they didn't instantly click. No back in FCW they were enemies, they tore each other apart to the point that they couldn't even be in the same locker room. If it wasn't for Roman being the middleman between the two of them, they probably wouldn't have ever became friends.

Friends? Were we ever truly friends? Dean asked himself.

He wasn't sure anymore. Looking back at it, it always seemed like Seth had a plan, it was were his nickname the Architect came from. And he had betrayed him once before. When he stepped off the apron and left him there to die by the Wyatts hands.

Thinking about it, they should have never got back together after that. Seth said it was to teach him and Roman who to take care of shit on their own, but he should have already known that there wasn't any real big beef between them.

Meaning Seth did it because he was pissed off because of what happened during the match when Dean knocked him off the ropes, trying to save his ass and when he went after Wyatt, for going after Angel.

He had no idea that Roman was going to come after him, had no idea that Seth was going to be able to tag out at the time. Yeah, he could understand Seth for being angry for what had happened. But to be able to just stand there and watch your two 'best friends' get beat up….

I should have known then that he didn't really care. That he was using us.

Anger flared in him once again and he went to pick up speed when he heard someone call out his name, making him almost trip over his own two feet.

"Dean? Are you down there?" It was Angel's mom.

"Um, yes."

"Ok, just making sure I didn't turn the lights out on anyone." She called back.

Surprised that he wasn't being yelled at for pushing himself too hard, Dean slowed the machine down until it stopped and got off. Grabbing both his water bottle and towel off the floor next to the treadmill, he took a swig and wiped off his face before he made his way up the stairs.

He knew he over did it as his legs shook with each step.

When he got to the top of the stairs, he tuned off the light and looked around to see Evelyn going through some bags in the dining room.

Her head perked up at the sound him of shutting the door.

"Enjoy your workout?"

"Um. Yeah." He answered.

As much as someone could enjoy beating themselves up by running.

"That's good." She hummed.

Dean blinked and couldn't stop himself from asking the question that danced on his tongue. "You're not going to yell at me?"

The woman looked up and gave him a look that reminded him too much of Angel. "Why would I do that?" She asked. "I don't know your body, or your limitations. Dean, it would be silly if I yelled at you. Know if I find you laying on the ground because you can't move due to working out too hard, then I'll yell at you."

He nodded felling foolish that he had snuck around.

Evelyn looked up at him once more and cocked her head. "Something wrong?" She asked with a telling smile on her face.

Dean shook his head. "Nope, I'm good. I'm just going to go upstairs and get changed…"

"You do that."

Felling even more like an idiot, Dean shuffled his way up the stairs and into the guest room, where he was greeted with an image of the still sleeping Angel. She was all curled up, her hair was messily laying over her face as she gave a small snore.

He stood there as he watched the woman in front of him.

She wouldn't betray you like that.

A.A.A.

The next day, Angel woke up bright and early, the pains of falling asleep before the sun goes down.

Sighing, she rolled over and grabbed her phone that was at twenty percent due to the fact that she forgot to charge it. It was five in the morning. Letting out a small curse she flopped back into the bed dramatically when her arm hit something arm and large.

She looked over to see her hand had landed on Dean's bare bicep. Shit she had woken up even before Dean, which was a first.

Her eyes ran over the sleeping man as she got the feeling, he did this every morning. He soothed her back to sleep as his alarm went off and then he watched her. Maybe he didn't, maybe she was just fantasizing. But if she looked half as good as he did right now, when she slept then he was missing out if he didn't look for even a few seconds.

Dean was laying there in complete abandonment, his limbs thrown every which way. Sometime during sleeping he pushed the blankets off of him that or h didn't bother getting under them all the way but either way his torso was sticking out for all to see.

She sighed as she watched his chest rise and fall. Those dark marks stood out against his tan skin.

Not stopping the urge, she reached over and ran a finger right next to one of the bruises on his chest. It wasn't the worst one on his body, it was just a small patch of broken blood vessels that ran around the side of his peck.

Her eyes then moved to the bruise this one was darker and longer; it ran almost the length of his side. Again, not bothering to stop herself she traced it as well, watching as his muscles moved and felt under her touch.

"It got a bruise a little father down in you wanna trance that too." Dean chuckled his voice husky from sleep.

Angel blushed as she was caught. "No, you don't."

"Yeah, I do it's called blue balls."

She smacked his arm and she sat up. "You're bad."

"To the bone."

Angel smile at him before looking down at her hands that sat in her lap. She was both surprised and happy that Dean's humor was back. After Monday, she had expected to Deal with grumpy Dean for a while.

"It's not everyday you wake up before me." He yawned as he sat up against the headboard next to her.

"Yeah, well it's not every day I fall asleep before the sun goes down."

"True." He tousled his messy hair.

The two sat there, side by side and for a moment the mood changed as if by a switch. The small smile on Dean's face fell and she could see the wheels in his head turning. Almost like he took until now to remember what had happened.

He shook his head and stretched. "God, I must stink." He said as lifted his arm and sniffed. "I didn't shower after my workout last night."

"Ew." She batted at him. "You mean you came and snuggled up to me while you were all sweaty…" She faked a glare.

"Sorry, I just saw you laying there, and I couldn't stop myself." He snickered as he threw the covers off of him. "At least I changed out of my shorts."

"There's that." She chuckled as she eyed up the slightly tent in his favorite pair of sweat.

She was surprised when she heard a groan come of the man beside her. "Keep looking at it like that and being stinky won't be my only problem." He told her as he adjusted himself.

Heat filled her face as she looked away. "Just go take a shower."

A deep chuckle came from the man as he leaned over and kissed her. "Yes ma'am."

D.D.D

Dean let out a sigh as he leaned back in the dining room chair that he was sitting in. He had only been up for like two hours and he was exhausted. After last night, he was trying to stop those thoughts from invading his head, tried to make sure that his mood didn't ruin this time with Angel and her family.

But it was so difficult. Any time the conversation lulled his mind wondered. It got so bad that at one time he glanced down to see him holding his fork tightly in his fist. He prayed that no one else saw it.

After everyone ate, well after he and Evelyn ate; Angel's dad went off to work this morning and Angel didn't really eat. She just sat there picking at her food for the second meal in a row. The most she ate was a handful of strawberries that they picked from the greenhouse this morning.

After they ate, Angel excused herself to go make a call. Apparently, it was work related and judging by the scowl on her face it was something to do with Seth.

"Always something." Evelyn stood up from her chair and started to clean up.

"Never a dull moment with WWE." He said. "Need help with that?"

"Thank you." She smiled up at him. "Wanna grab Angel's plate? Imma put it away just incase she wants it later."

Dean nodded and grabbed the plate before following her into the kitchen. "She didn't eat much."

Evelyn nodded. "Yeah, she seems to lose her appetite when something bothering her. She did it since she was little."

"Never noticed" He thought back through the last few months.

"She's good at playing it off."

While he helped her wrap up the leftover, Angel's voice echoed from the other side of the room.

"What the hell does that mean?"

Dean perked up and looked over his shoulder.

"Wonder what that's all about?" Evelyn told him.

Dean didn't waste time as he quickly left the kitchen to see Angel sitting on the couch, leaning over so her elbows were on her knees and her face was hidden by her long hair. "That makes no sense. Yeah I'll hold."

"What's wrong?"

She looked up as she put the call on speaker. "They're trying to tell me that I need a lawyer to take Seth off my client list."

"What?"

"I think they're trying to mess with me. I've seen Paul Heyman do this before and it says in the handbook that I can add or subtract clients at any time, I just have to let the higher ups know."

Dean gritted his teeth He almost couldn't believe that the higher ups were pulling this kind of his but then he remembered that Stephanie and Hunter were part of those higher ups.

"Hello is this Angel Miles." A voice rang over her phone.

"Yes it…" Angel went to take the phone of speaker when Dean reached down and snatched the thing away. After pushing the button that said speaker, he brought it to his ear.

"No, sorry this is Dean Ambrose."

"Dean, stop!" Angel jumped from the couch as she tired to grab the phone out of his hands. But he just used his height and build to move so she couldn't reach it.

"Dean Ambrose?" The voice on the other end questioned.

"Yep, and I'm calling on behalf of my manager, Angel Miles."

"Um." He could hear the woman swallow. "What can I do for you?"

"I'm trying to figure out why you guys are making her jump through hoops just to be able to stop working for a man who assaulted her with a CHAIR."

"I-I'm sorry." She stuttered. "I just put on this case, I'm not sure what's going on."

Dean felt a little bit of guilt him as he listened to the woman's timid voice. "Well, Angel was calling to have Seth removed from her clientele and she was told that she was going to need to get a lawyer and do this whole legal mumbo-jumbo. I thought managers had full control on who they worked with and who they didn't."

"They do."

"Then why would someone tell her she didn't?"

"I don't know, Sir."

"We're going to fix that now, aren't we?" He let his voice dip down low.

"Ah yes Sir." She answered quickly. "Let me pull up her file and I'll change that. We're dropping Seth Rollins am I right?"

"Yes."

"Alright, then all Angel has to do it come in and sign the form saying that she agrees to the change."

"That's all?"

"That's all."

"So, we're not going to get a phone call saying that you were lying to us, now will we? I would HATE for Angel to have to work with a prick who ATTACKED HER."

"N-no sir."

"Good, have a nice day."

He hung up the phone and tossed it back at Angel with a smirk.

"Dean." She sighed at him. "You didn't have to do that."

"Didn't have to but wanted to. Though I do think I scared the fuck out of some poor girl who had no idea what was going on."

Angel shook her head at him.

A.A.A.

"So, any plans to spend the day?" Angel heard her mom ask as she walked past her and Dean sitting on the couch watching some sort of cooking show. "Anything fun or are the two of you going to sit on the couch all day and watch the food network?"

"What did you have in mind?" She asked knowing her mom had something up her sleeve.

"It's nice out, why don't you guys go out." She smiled turning towards Dean. "Dean I'm not sure what you're into, but there are a few museums, we got a zoo, an aviary, and if you really want there's a casino. I mean it's not really anything like Vegas, but we got one."

Dean chuckled. "What does the Pittsburgh native want to do?"

"I've done most of it already." Angel sighed as he pulled out her phone and Googled things to do in Pittsburgh. "Like she said there's lots of museums. Um if you want to see flowers, we can go to the Phipps Conservatory…"

Dean gave her a look that just said no as he leaned over to look at the list on her phone. "What's Randyland?" He asked as he pointed to a picture of a colorfully fence filled with signs.

"It's hard to describe but it's like someone's back yard turned into a colorful art exhibit." Angel said as she clicked on it.

"Looks interesting."

"You wanna go?"

"Sure, why not." He shrugged.

"Randyland is cool but it's not really an all-day trip so why don't you guys hit up the aviary since you'll be over that way?" Her mom suggested.

"Weird art and birds?" Dean nodded. "Sounds like a date."

"Here we are." Angel said as they turned the corner to see a super colorful building standing out like a sore thumb.

"Holy shit." Dean chuckled as they got closer. "You weren't kidding when you said colorful." He dipped his sunglasses down. "Shit that bright."

"Just you wait." Angel sighed as they walked through the fence.

She watched as Dean looked around with a slight smile on his face. She wasn't sure if he really liked the place or if he was just taken back. He took a step forward and frowned before looking down at his feet.

"Sand?"

"Yep."

Kicking the sand up with his boots, he walked over to a strange sculpture that was of half a manikin holding a hat while another head of a different manikin sat in its broken stomach. "This is some trippy shit."

Angel smiled at him as he went from one strange art piece to the next, stopping for a moment to appreciate it before moving on. At one point he got to the wall off mirrors which was just about twelve mirrors hanging up on the wall.

As they both looked into one of the mirrors, Dean leaned over and rested his chin on her head.

"You would like the take a picture?" Someone asked as they came up behind them. Angel turned around to see the woman who was working at the front of the gate. "Sorry didn't mean to sneak up on you two, it's just this is where a lot of couples like to take pictures." She said pointing at the wall.

"Oh, thanks but…"

"Sure." Dean said as he put an arm around Angel's shoulder. "Thanks." He said as he pulled his phone out and handed it to the woman.

Angel blinked up at the man as he pulled her closer, she was dumbfounded. Normally Dean wasn't one to like his picture being taken. Sure, he did it with fans but that was to make them happy.

Trying to hold back her delight, she bit her lip and smiled.

She heard the camera on his phone go off a few times before the woman handed back his phone. "There you go."

"Thanks." Dean said again as he took his phone and looked at the picture.

"How did it turn out?" She was curious.

"Pretty good." He showed her the photo.

Her heart thumped in her chest as she looked at the shot of the two of them together. However as much as she appreciated him being up for a picture, her curiosity of why got a hold of her. "Thought you didn't like photos?"

"I don't." He answered plainly. "But we don't have any picture of the two of us together. So, I thought why not."

Angel could have sworn she stopped breathing at one point as she watched him walk away while playing with his phone. That was the first picture outside of WWE that they had together. Of course, they had picture of them together as the Shield or screen shots that people had made from the show but nothing with just them as Angel Miles and Dean Ambrose.

They spent a little more time at Randyland before making their way to the National Aviary. Dean bought their tickets and they made their way into the building.

"Where do you want to start?" She asked looking down at the map in her hands.

Dean leaned over her shoulder. "How about we just made a circle." He said tracing a path with his fingers.

"Alright, then Tropical Rain Forest is the first stop."

They walked around the place, looking at all the different birds. At one-point Dean had to duck as a bird flew right over his head making her laugh.

"He was going after me." Dean jested.

"I don't think so." She shook her head. "Maybe he thought you were a tree. You're tall enough to be one."

"Shut up." He nudged into her.

After making their whole way around the building they made their last stop which was the penguins. Angel couldn't hold her delight as she got close to the glass. "They're so cute!" She squealed as she watched one of them swim around.

Dean stepped up beside her. "So, are you going to go into the tunnel?" He asked as he pointed to where a few kids were standing inside of a tube that got you right up and closer to the birds.

"That's for kids."

"You're small enough to be one." He said getting back at her for the tree comment. Rolling her eyes at him, she turned her attention back to one of the penguins that was making laps in the water. "Fine I'm going."

Her eyes widened and she spun around to see Dean walking over to the entrance to the tunnel. She laughed as the man practically had to crawl to get into the thing. When he disappeared, her eyes locked onto the tube inside of the exhibit and waited until she saw his head pop up.

She shook her head at him as their eyes met. He looked so dorky in the thing, he had to hunch over and narrow his shoulders to fit. He looked around with that goofy smiled on his face before turning he gestured for her to join him.

Sighing, Angel quickly made her way over to the entrance to the tunnel and made her way until she saw the bottom half of Dean.

"You're going to have to move."

Dean's chuckle reverberated around the thing as he made as much room as he could for her to peek her head up. There wasn't any room in the tube, her body pressed right against his as she looked around at the penguins.

"We're going to get stuck."

"Nah." He smirked.

"You say that now."

"Look." Dean pointed over to two penguins that were standing about as close as they were. "You think that's the Dean Ambrose and Angel Miles of their world."

She laughed at the notion. "I don't know." She pondered. "He's feathers are too nicely groomed to be you."

"Hey!" He poked her in the side making her jump. "There's nothing wrong with my hair."

She tired her best to look up at him. "Yep, nothing."

"What does that mean?"

"Like you said, nothing." She said as she quickly made her way out of the thing.

When they finally made it out of the tunnel, she turned around to see Dean stretching out every part of his body. "I told you that thing was made for kids."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Do you really think that's him?"

"I don't know honey, you can ask."

Angel glanced over to see a little boy pulling on his mom's shirt as he stared up at Dean. Oh, looks like we have a fan. She smiled down at him. Without a word to Dean she walked up to the mother and child.

"Couldn't help but overhear but are we a wrestling fan?" She asked the mom.

"We are."

Angel crouched down to the boy's size and smiled at him. "Do you know who I am?" The boy nodded. "Are you a fan of Dean Ambrose?"

The woman nodded and patted the boy's back.

The boy nodded as he slunk backwards.

"Wanna say hi?"

His eyes lit up as he turned his mom. "Can I?"

"Sure."

Angel stood up and turned back to Dean who was still stretching. "Dean!" She called getting his attention. "We have a little fan who wants to meet you."

Dean cocked his head until his eyes landed on the little boy. "Hey there." He smiled as he took off his sunglasses and put them on the top of his head.

The boys face grew red as Dean knelt down next to him. "Hi." He said shyly.

"So, you're a fan of mine?"

He nodded. "Yeah, I have your action figure at home."

Dean cocked his head. "Do you?"

"Yeah! And I got the Shield's mask for my birthday." He said the shyness disappearing. "My mommy gave it to me."

"Did she?" Dean looked up at Angel. "Did you know that Angel made those masks?"

"No." The little boy turned with her with awe. "You made my mask?"

She knew that the boy meant his actual mask and not just the designs for it but she couldn't help but nod. "Yeah."

"Cool!" He jumped up and down.

After posing with the little boy for a picture, Angel stood up and watched Dean talk to him.

"Sorry about this. He noticed him a little while ago and we've been kind of following you around to see if it was really him." The mom sighed.

"Don't worry about it." She shook her head.

"Alright, sweetie say thank you to Dean and Angel."

"Can I ask one more question?" He glanced from Dean to his mother and back.

"Sure, bud."

"Why did Seth hurt you?"

Angel inhaled sharply as she looked at Dean how's face fell. "You know, I don't know." His eyes dropped to the floor. "I don't know."

After apologizing again, the mother pulled her kid away.

Angel sighed as she knew this was the end of the outing. They both had been having so much fun that they had forgotten about the real life. But now it had caught up with them.

Not even here Seth and you're messing thing up.

Dean got up off the floor and put his sunglasses back on, though they didn't hide the anger that was present on his face. "Ready to head back?"

He nodded.

Their ride back to the house was very quiet, she knew what was on his mind as he trapped his finger on the zipper of his leather jacket and gave his neck a crack.

D.D.D.

Dean wanted to smack himself for the way he let just the mention of Seth's name ruin his date with Angel. But he couldn't help it. The little boy's question had set his mind right back to where it had been before.

Why did he hurt me? Dean asked himself. Kid I've been asking that question since Monday.

They pulled up to the front of Angel's place and without a word they both got out and made their way up to the front door.
"Oh! You're home early." Evelyn looked over at them from her spot on the couch.

Angel nodded her head. "Yeah, we got through the aviary faster then I thought we would."

"Did you at least have any fun?"

"Yeah." Dean answered. He did truly he had fun, enough fun that he had started to forget about Seth. But then the man just had to weasel himself right back into his mind.

He noticed Evelyn's eyes on him as if she was trying to decipher something, causing him to look away. He didn't want to explain that they had come back because his emotions got the better of himself.

But they did, Deano. He said to himself. Why avoid the truth?

Maybe because I don't want my girlfriend's parents to think I'm a crazy as everyone else does. He fought his own mind.

Dean shook his head as he heard Evelyn say something about Angel's dad coming home in an hour.

"Think I can squeeze in a workout, then?" He asked as he between the two women.

"Yeah." Angel gave him a small chuckle. "Just don't…"

"Push myself too much." He finished for her.
