Welcome to Chapter Eighty Seven! I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Monday Night Raw: June 9, 2020

Dean sighed as he shuffled his weight and looked back at Angel who was laying in a ball on one of the travel cases just 'resting her eyes'. Which he knew was bullshit as he watched her snuggle up under his leather jacket.

"Fuck." He gritted through his teeth as he raked his fingers through his hair. If he thought his mind had been racing before…now he couldn't keep a thought for even a second as it raced back and forth between Seth and Angel.

With in a week, he had a best friend betray him and his girlfriend say that she loves him; god damn didn't that just make his emotions run wild.

He wanted to be pissed off at Seth but then he would remember who cute and delicate Angel's smile was while looking up at him. He wanted to relish in the joy it was to have someone as pure and good as Angel saying that she loved him but then Seth's stupid mug would come into his head.

It made him want to scream.

And just as he was about a familiar chuckle came from behind him. "Is she really taking a nap?"

Spinning on his heels, Dean eyed up Roman as he dropped his hands to his side. "Yeah, she's been through a lot lately." Not a lie.

Roman nodded his head before he turned his attention toward him. "So, uh…" He cleared his throat. "Is everything ok between the two of you? I mean did you get to talk it out?"

Dean nodded. "We're good."

He watched as Roman let out a deep breath. "That's good."

The awkwardness between them quickly dried up as they heard Michael Cole's voice ring from the TV. "Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time. A man who has been the center of controversy over the past week. He's a former member of the Shield. Please welcome Seth Rollins."

Dean gritted his teeth as a brand new theme song started to play. It was a heavy metal sounding song that didn't seem to fit the man at all.

"Not even a week and he's already got a new song?"

"Probably had it queued up for a while."

Dean nodded as he watched Seth get into the ring and shake hands with Cole. Just as he was about to settle in for the interview, he remembered that he should wake Angel up for this. She would want to hear what Seth had to say as well.

"Angel." He called as he gave her a shake. "Hey, wake up there, sleepy head." She answered him with a groan as he pulled his leather jacket up closer to her face. "Hate to wake you, but Seth's interview is on."

Dean had to admit he didn't like the way she quickly stirred herself to wake at the mention of Seth but he just shook his head and stepped back so that she could see the TV that they parked themselves in front of.

"Seth, welcome." Cole started.

"Thank you."

"There's been a lot of talk the past week…"

"Michael let me stop you before you get started here." Seth interrupted earning him and choir of boos. "Look I don't get it, I don't understand what all the controversy you're talking about, is all about. Are we talking about what I did last week? Is that the whole deal because to me, that wasn't a big deal."

White hot heat and anger ripped through Dean as his jaw clenched until he heard it tick. Not a big deal? Betraying the two men that called you brothers ISN'T A BIG DEAL! He started to yell in his head.

"I was just doing what was best for business. What was best for my business." Seth paused. "The Shield, Michael the greatest faction in the history of the WWE, created by me."

"Created by him!" Dean almost lashed out at the TV. He had heard Triple H say that Seth was the one who was responsible for the Shield but now hearing it out of Seth's mouth made him wonder if Hunter somehow brainwashed the man.

"You don't think that I have the right to destroy my own creation?"

"I'm going to come down there and destroy YOUR FACE."

"Easy there, tiger." Roman reached over and grabbed him by the arm. "We said we were going to listen to every word that he had to say. So, listen now, destroy faces later."

He gave a sharp nod before turning back to the TV. "It takes an architect, a master mind to put together a faction like the Shield. You think Dean Ambrose is in any way responsible for that?"

Here we go. "Dean Ambrose is a lunatic, given a week to his own devices, he's face down in a ditch, and Angel…She's not much better if she can love that weirdo." Seth smirked and gave a shiver. "Don't even want to know what goes on behind closed doors in that relationship."

A.A.A

Angel jumped as Dean's hand came slamming down on the crate next to her legs. "Motherfucker!" He yelled as he started his pacing.

So much for listening to everything he has to say. She sighed as she turned her attention form the TV to Dean.

"Dean…" Sat up, letting his jacket fall to her lap.

"No. He can say whatever the hell he wants to about me. Sure, I'm crazy, I'm a lunatic, I've had a rough childhood, done drugs, likes to get hurt…whatever but the fucker doesn't get to say a word about my relationship. Not one he was one of the people pushing me into it!"

"Dean man." Roman quickly tapped him on the shoulder and gestured to the camera crew that was rushing up to film them watching.

Almost instantly Dean's whole demeanor seemed to change, sure the anger that was in the man, was still there, Angel could see it in his eyes. But now he stood in one spot, staring at the TV as he swayed on his feet and rubbed his collar.

"Roman Reigns, the golden boy." Seth paused again. "You'll never see anger or fury in a man like that you've seen in Roman Reigns. But without someone to harness that, to control it, he's nothing; he's worthless."

Angel rose form her spot on the travel case and joined the two men.

"Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns are nothing without me. They owe me every ounce of success they have ever achieved."

"Seth, many people will argue that the Shield was about three and then four individuals who came together to form an awesome team, not just about one man."

"You know, I guess will find out later tonight when the uh, the pathetic remnants of the Shield have their last hurrah out here against the Wyatt Family." Seth snickered. "But let me ask you a question Michael, why is this such a surprise? I took the Shield to very top, as high as we could go. We beat everybody, we conquered the world, Michael."

"Yeah we did, as a team." Roman finally spoke up. "As a god damn team…"

"At Payback, we beat Evolution in a clean sweep. And in very experience in life you should learn something. You know what I've learned from Evolution? I learned to be a success in this business you have to evolve, you have to adapt."

Angel couldn't help but get hyped up while the crowd chanted 'you sold out'.

"No, no, no. I bought in. I bought into the evolution of Seth Rollins. And another thing, another thing that you won't admit, and that none of you will admit. It took a lot of guts to do what I did last week."

Dean nodded his head. "We agree on one thing. It did take a lot of guts to do what you did. But I'm going to beat them out of you." His voice was a snarl as he talked through his teeth and around his tongue that had been darting around on in the inside of his mouth.

"And everybody is fixated on the fact that I stabbed my brothers in the back. That I betrayed my 'brothers'. And maybe to Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose we were brothers but to me we were just business partners and I severed a business relationship."

"BULLSHIT!" Dean yelled as he pointed at the TV.

"You know, for two years every night I came out here and I put my fist out and I said 'believe in the Shield'. And every night what I meant is what I'm going to tell you right now. Is that you and everybody else better start, believing in Seth Rollins!"

Seth sat down with a smirk on his face.

"So that's it, Michael. That's all you want to hear. Oh wait? I heard earlier tonight that Dean Ambrose said that he was going to let me say my piece and then they were going to come out here and kick the hell out of me. Welp," Seth stood up and threw his chair out of the ring. "I've said my piece."

Just like that Dean and Roman turned to move as if they couldn't help it. Following slowly behind, Angel gave them enough room to be out of the way if anything happened.

She could hear the crowd cheering and yelling as they pushed through the entrance to the right of the gorilla. Not bothering to let anyone play their music or anything. They didn't come down here for the fan fair, they came out to do just what Seth said, beat the hell out of him.

Both Dean and Roman marched to the ring as Seth undid his jacket and tie. And the sight had Angle's stomach turning. As much as she was on Dean and Roman's side it was hard to watch the two men going after their former Shield brother.

However, before the two of them could get into the ring the lights went out and the Wyatt's creepy flash of images played on the screens around the arena.

"No." She gasped trying to make out anything in the darkness.

As quick as the lights went out, they came on and she saw Roman and Dean in the ring with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.

Where's Seth? She glanced around as the four men in the ring started to brawl. Her eyes found the man standing on the outside of the ring, cheering on the two hillbilly men. Once both men were preoccupied did Seth get back into the ring.

"Oh no you don't." Angel frowned as she quickly rolled in. Standing up, her and Seth locked eyes. "Where do you think you're going?"

A dark smirk appeared on Seth's face as he put his arms out like he was daring her to do something. "Oh, hi there, Angel." He waved. "Forgot that you were here." His voice dropped. "Just like everyone else does. Riding on the coat tails of the Shield or should I say the dick of Dean Ambrose."

Her body moved before even knew it. And if ti wasn't for the stinking of the palm of her hand and the loud slap noise, she wouldn't have even realized that he had hit Seth across the face.

Seth's hand rose to his cheek as his eyes darkened into the glare. "Why you little…" He snagged her with his free hand.

"Get your hands off her." She heard Roman call as Seth suddenly pushed her from his grasp.

Angel fell to her knees and tried to roll out of the way as both Roman and Dean ganged up on Seth, who quickly made his way to the ropes. As they both went after Seth, she noticed another figure getting into the ring, Bray Wyatt. Rolling over towards the corner of the ring. She watched the fight that was going down.

Trying to figure out what to do, she pulled herself up by the ropes. Though before she could make it to her feet, John Cena's theme started.

Mouth falling open, she turned towards the ramp to see Cena racing down towards the ring.

Baffled by what was going on, she watched as he tossed Bray out while Roman and Dean threw out Harper and Rowan.

As the crowd cheered on what was happening, Dean quickly made his way over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you ok?" He asked keeping an eye on Cena. "Did Seth hurt you?"

She shook her head as the Shield's music started to play.

Roman came over and shrugged his shoulders. "Um, does this mean we have a tag partner?" He asked.

"Not sure." Dean glanced over his shoulder again.

D.D.D.

Dean quickly pushed Angel backstage as he kept his eyes open for either Seth or the Wyatts. What just happened out in the ring had rubbed him the wrong way. And no it wasn't because The Wyatts came out. He had almost expected that.

What had him bugged out was John Cena coming out.

He knew that Cena had a problem with Bray just like them but to come out to their rescue….

"Dean, Roman." Cena's voice hit him, making everyone stop and turned towards the real golden boy of the WWE. "I would like to talk to you guys."

Dean sighed as he gave a crack of his neck. "Yeah, so talk."

John nodded. "I know that we haven't seen eye to eye in the past."

"You can say that again." Roman stepped up lone ranger style.

"That being said…" The man stepped back slightly. "We seem to have a common enemy tonight, in the Wyatts. And I think it's best for us to team up to take them down."

Dean raised a brow. "You want us to believe that you want to join up with us?" Yeah right.

John Cena nodded his head. "I do. The two of you teaming up with me, I think we got what it takes to take on the Wyatts."

Dean turned towards Roman and shrugged his shoulders. "What do you get out of this?"

"What do you mean?"

"Dean." He felt Angel grabbing his arm. He leaned down towards her but didn't take his eyes off Cena. "Dean, watch what you say." She warned him. "We do need to find a partner for the match tonight and I hate to say it but Cena might be the only one who will step up to help us."

Dean sighed and stood up, letting his four inches that he had over the man do some talking. "Alright, what do you have in mind." He forced the words out of his mouth.

"We do what we do best." Cena said crossing his arms. "Bring the ruthless aggression down on the Wyatts."

"I like that." Roman nodded.

"Yeah that's good."

After shaking hands with the man and making their team up official, John went to 'prep' for their match.

"See you out there."

"Wait, John." Angel stepped forward. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Dean blinked at her question. Wasn't it just her who said that he might be the only one who was willing to step up?

"The Authority isn't going to be happy that you're helping us."

John nodded as he drew in a deep breath. "I appreciate what you're doing but I've never liked the Authority myself, so to hell with them." He clapped her on the shoulder and didn't that just make her face light up. "Like I said, I'll see you out there."

Dean's eyes locked on the man as he walked away. He knew that they needed another guy out there with them, but some part of him just wanted to say fuck it, he and Roman can handle it. He didn't want to invite someone else into their corner. That was just another person that could…stab them in the back.

A.A.A

For the second time tonight, Angel found herself up on the top entrance of the arena, gritting her teeth due to how different this all felt. She hated being up here with only Roman and Dean. And it was almost to the point that she was going to ask them if they just wanted to come in from the ramp, but then again the boys had already had so much change on them, why should they change this?

This time while they made their way to the ring, Dean didn't leave her in the dust. He even looked back to make sure she was still behind him a couple of times, before stopping to let him use her to get up and over the barricade.

Making their way towards the steel steps, he stopped and waited for Roman to join them before getting into the ring.

Angel walked ducked into the ring and made his way over to Dean who was rolling his left shoulder and giving his neck a crack as he paced around the ring.

During one of his laps, she smiled up at him and patting him on the chest when he paused in front of her. She could feel his heart racing under her hand. "You got this." He nodded and took her hand, giving it a small squeeze.

"Another shot at the Wyatts." Roman said walking up to them.

Just then John Cena's theme song started and the crowd went nuts with both boos and cheers. The most polarizing Superstar in all of WWE.

"Here he comes." Dean sighed as they turned towards the stage. She could see the look in his eyes that said he wasn't happy about their team up.

"Remember he did come down to help." She tired.

Dean shook his head as they stepped out of the way so Cena could do his entrance. "Nah, he came down to get his hands on the Wyatts." Dean ran his tongue around on the inside of his mouth. "It wouldn't have mattered who was in the ring at the time."

Cena's theme was cut off by the Wyatt's and the arena grew cold as the lights turned off. Stomach turning, Angel moved closer to Dean who had turned to watch the trio slowly come down the ramp.

"Boys." She heard Cena say in the dark. "Don't you think it's time for the little lady to get out of the ring."

A snort came from Dean as the lights came back up. "As much as I hate to agree with the man," Dean leaned back towards her. "I think he's right." He nodded towards the side of the ring.

She reached out and patted both him and Roman on the back. "Good luck." He told them before stepping away just in time for the Wyatts to get up onto the apron.

Giving one last look at the scene in the ring, a weird since of Deja vu hit her, six men staring each other down in the center of the ring. The only thing that broke the feeling was the fact that she wasn't staring at three men dressed in all black, nope the one on the far right was in green and khaki shorts.

Tension grew and Angel knew what was going to happen, she slid out of the ring and before her feet hit the ground the sounds of an all-out war started above her. Though it quickly moved to an all-out war around her as Cena, Harper, Roman, and Bray spilt out of the ring, leaving Dean and Rowan alone inside.

With only two men in the ring, the ref called for the match to start. Though Angel could bearly keep track of what was going on inside the ring because outside, she had both Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt to worry about.

Her stomach fell as both men turned their attentions to her for a split second. "Hello, Little Lamb." Bray's voice sent a chill down her spine.

"Hey!" Roman's voice cut through. "Don't look at her." He warned them as he grabbed Bray by the hair and slammed his face against the announce table before turning to Harper and giving him and upper cut.

"Thanks." She took a deep breath.

"Don't mention it." He smiled at her as he guided her around the side of the ring.

Once they got to the steel steps, Roman let her go before climbing up to join Cena on the apron. She watched as he two men gave each other a strange look before turning their attention towards the match.

Shaking her head, Angel took her spot on the floor next to the steel steps and looked up just in time to see Dean hit Rowan in the far corner with a Cannonball. The move caught her off guard, a Cannonball wasn't in Dean's normal repertoire but then again this wasn't a normal fight.

With Rowan dazed from the move, Dean got up and made his way over to where Harper stood and stiff armed in right in the face, knocking him to the floor. He then launched himself over the top rope, landing right on the man and plastering him to the floor.

Giving Harper less than a second glance, Dean got back into the ring, ducked under a wild swing from Rowan before bouncing off the ropes and landing a drop kick. The man was on fire.

"Go Dean!" She cheered as he followed Rowan towards the ropes in front of her.

The bearded man got to his feet, just in time for Dean to force his arms around the top rope so that he could rake his forearm across the man's face.

She noticed as Dean gave a glance over to Roman, who then instantly reached out as far as he could so that he could tag in while Dean still held Rowan against the ropes. The ref called the tag and Dean turned himself around so that he was using his whole body to keep Rowan in one spot.

"Dean get out!" The ref yelled as Roman got into the ring.

Dean just smirked at the man and waited until Roman had ahold of Rowan's arm before even budging.

Rowan and Roman kept the match going and it seemed like Roman was manhandling the bigger man at least until Rowan was able to hit him with an elbow to the face.

"Come on Roman!" She smacked the apron as Rowan tagged out to Harper, who received a very creepy reaction from the crowd as they seemed to mimic his strange groaning noise.

Harper grabbed Roman for a Suplex, only for Roman to block it not once, twice but three times before turning the tables and hitting a Suplex of his own. He went for a cover only for a kick out at one.

A huge punch to the face had Harper stumbling back into their corner, which Roman took to his advantage as he rammed his shoulder right into the man's gut, smashing him into the turnbuckles.

"Tag!" The ref called as Dean tagged in of Roman's back.

"What the?" Cena glanced between Roman and Dean.

Dean got quickly in and walked his way into the corner only to be met by Roman who grabbed him. Angel watched with wide eyes as Roman used his might to send Dean flying into Harper, like Dean was a weapon.

As strange as the move seemed to her, Dean didn't bat a lash as he grabbed Luke Harper, pushed him against the ropes before forcing his left leg through the top and middle one. He then took off across the ring once more to gain up momentum for yet another drop kick, this one aimed right at the man's knee.

Keeping his attention on that leg, Dean grabbed it and twisted the man around with it.

"Watch that right foot!" Cena called out to him as Dean set in a Half Boston Crab. "Nice, settle in, settle in, come in now!"

Angel couldn't help but smile as she watched Cena cheering for Dean. For the first time since she started to work here and really for the first time ever, she was able to root for both the Shield and Cena at the same time.

"Wow." Dean calling out in shock made her turn back to see that Harper had kicked Dean off his leg and forced him into the Wyatt's corner.

A quick look of panic filled his face as he looked around at the two men waiting for him, though as quick as it showed up it went away as he started to swing every which way. Escaping from the corner, Dean raced over to attack Harper before he could get one up on him only to run face fist into a big boot.

Angel gasped as Dean laid there out of it as Harper grabbed him for a pin. Though before she could even call out to him that he needed to kick out, Dean's body jolted from the mat.

Harper tagged in Bray Wyatt and suddenly the match changed completely as he grabbed Dean for a body slam.
"Come on, Ambrose!" Bray taunted as he grabbed Dean's hair. "Come on, Ambrose!" He got Dean to his feet and leaned down to look him in the eye. "Come on, Dean. You can do it. Little Angel over there is cheering for you." He said giving Dean a small rap against the cheek.

Both Angel and Roman hissed as they saw fire light up in Dean's eyes before his hand came out and smacked Bray across the face. Bray quickly lashed back with an uppercut that sent dean falling back into the ropes.

While in the corner, Bray stomped down on his chest a couple time before tagging out to Rowan. The two men quickly switch spots and Rowan brought that boot of his up and smashed it against Dean's face, holding it there.

"Come on Rowan!" The ref started his count.

When he finally let up, Dean rolled out of the ring.

Angel quickly made her way down the side of the ring and turned so that she could see Dean on his hands and knees. "Get up!" She yelled as him as Rowan got out of the ring. Clenching her teeth, she watched as Rowan picked Dean up and threw him into the barricade.

"That's a boy, Rowan." Bray called as he clapped.

Rowan turned his face towards his leader, taking in the praise before reaching down and grabbing Dean once again. Angel eyes widened as Rowan looked back over his shoulder, she knew where this was heading.

Scrambling out of the way, she watched as Rowan tried to Irish Whip Dean into the steel steps next to her, only for Dean to reverse the move. Even though she was ready for it, Angel couldn't help but jump as Rowan came slamming into the steps.

"Angel, get back in the corner." Dean ordered from his place on the floor.

Making very slow steps backwards, she watched as both Rowan and Dean quickly pulled themselves up into the ring as if they were racing each other and then she realized they were. They were racing to make a tag, a tag that Rowan was able to get first.

Bray charged into the ring with authority and kicked Dean in the side before throwing him into the corner.

The beatdown as quick and painful to watch, each man was able to get their hands-on Dean. Until Harper slowed things down with a headlock.

Almost instantly as Dean laid there the crowd started to chant for Cena. The old 'let's go Cena' 'Cena sucks' combo.

The energy flowed through both the crowd and men in the ring as Dean fought to his feet. Once to his feet, Dean dropped right back onto his knees, making Harper's chin hit off the top of his head.

And though the man let him go, Angel had to wonder which one the move hurt more as Dean held the top of his head while he broke out his chop, punch combination. Getting back into the fight, Dean went for a kick, only for Harper to catch it.

There was a moment that Dean realized what was about to happen before Harper sent in face first into the mat.

After kicking out of a cover, Dean crawled his way to the rope and fell out of the ring with a thud.

D.D.D

Dean groaned as he held his head and rolled around on the floor. He knew he had to get up and get back in the ring but after that last hit, his head seemed to have other plans.

"Come on, Dean. You gotta get up." Angel's voice hit him reminding him yet again that he didn't place the WrestleMania rules in place. Need a better name for that. He thought to himself. They had used the no leaving the corner rule so many times now that it was more of a every match rule and not just WrestleMania. Hell doesn't matter what we call it, she doesn't fucking listen anyway.

He cocked his head back to look at her, just as a big calloused mitt covered his vision. Next thing he knew, he was in the ring with two large fits digging into the side of his head. Gritting his teeth, he grabbed onto the man, who he knew was Rowan's wrist and tried to pull them off his head.

After a bit of time fighting against the hold, one of the hands slipped down his face and grabbed onto his jaw, wrenching his head back in an awkward angle.

"Fuck." He growled as he grabbed onto Rowan's hand. He grabbed both his pointer finger and his middle finger in each and pulled and twisted as hard as he could, not diving a damn it be broke them.

Rowan called out in pain as the hold on him loosened just enough that he was able to fight to his feet. Turning around he glared at the taller man and changed his hold from his fingers to his beard. Keeping a good hold on the rough stringy hair, he used his best weapon again the man and headbutted him three times before going for the ropes.

However on his way back, Rowan was able to scoop him up and plant him with a Sidewalk Slam.

God damn. His back sang out as he felt a heavy weight cover him.

Much to his body's chagrin, he kicked out.

After the spike of pain settled into just a deep ache, he rolled over onto his side and looked around the ring to see Bray had tagged in. Great.

Not able to fight it, he let himself be picked up by Bray. His eyes catching the wicked smirk on the man's face before he was rushed headlong into the turnbuckles.

"Oh Dean!" Bray said as he leaned in close, so their foreheads were touching. "I heard what Angel said tonight. She loves you… She really loves you." He laughed. "You don't deserve her love. You don't deserve her love and you know it."

Dean didn't register the slap until after Bray had stepped way. He's trying to get under your skin. He told himself. Don't listen to him.

But he's right.

Fighting with his own mind, he couldn't move out of the way as Bray ran at him, using his own body to slam him into the corner even more.

Grunting, Dean shook his head. "G-get it together, Ambrose." He looked up at the man who stood in the middle of the ring with his arms out wide. Like a snap of a rubber band, Bray took off across the ring before barreling back at him.

Taking in a deep breath, Dean forced his body to move at just the last second, so he could get his feet up to stop Bray in his tracks.

"Come on, Dean!"

"Dean!"

"Get moving."

He heard his teammates call as a shot of adrenaline raced through his body, giving him just enough energy to climb to the top rope. Eyeing Bray up, Dean readied himself for the arm drop and pushed himself off the ropes.

Just as he was about to hit the move, Bray's arm shot up and grabbed him, stopping all momentum he had from the move. Dean cursed as his bod was lifted into the air before being slammed down onto the mat.

A.A.A

"Come on." Angel pleaded for Dean to get up even as she saw his eyes glaze over. The man was out and Bray was going for a cover. The crowd started to go wild as the ref dropped for the count, it was like they knew what was coming.

"One. Two."

A blur of black raced across the ring as Roman broke the pin.

Angel's eyes darted back and forth from Dean who was rolling out of the way and Roman who was going berserk on Bray. The man only stopped when both the ref pulled him off.

A yell came from across the ring and then suddenly Roman came tumbling out of the ring next to her.

"Roman!" She called as the man smacked against the floor. Kneeling down, she grabbed the man's shoulder and tried to get him to look at her. "Are you ok?"

The man let out a groan as he played with his chin. "Yeah." He mumbled. "I'm alright."

Angel jumped as the crowd around them started screaming. Heart pounding about what she might see in the ring, relief washed over her as she saw Dean rolling out of the ring, joining Roman on the floor.

Still holding onto Roman's shoulder, she leaned over and rubbed his bicep. "How are you doing there?"

"Ask me that again in like ten minutes."

As she took care of both Dean and Roman, she kept an eye on Cena cleaning house. Which his momentum was stopped dead by a freight train named Erick Rowan.

"Ouch," She hissed as she felt Roman move under her hand. She let her hand slide off the man's arm as he rose to his feet. "Go get him." She called after the man before turning all her attention to Dean.

"It hadn't been ten minutes yet but I'm asking anyway, how are we doing?"

Dean let his eyes open and he let out a hissing breath. "Well I'm alive."

"That's good." She softly chuckled at him.

Sooner then she thought he should, Dean rose to his feet and dragged himself up onto the apron. She couldn't help but notice as the man held onto his side.

Her worry from Dean was quickly forgotten as she watched the Wyatt's beat up on John Cena. She thought back to the last couple of weeks that Cena had been threw and she knew that there was no way his body was hundred percent. Just like them the last couple of pay-per-views had been brutal a steel cage match and a last man standing match.

"Come on, Cena get up!" Dean called. "Get up! Don't tell me that Hollywood is making you soft?"

At first Angel was shocked by Dean's harsh words, like it or not for this fight John Cena was his teammate, but then she realized that this was Dean's way of firing Cena up. He like everyone else knew, Cena worked best when the world was against him.

"Come on Cena."

Bray punished Cena, left and right. Every move her cringing and wishing, praying that the man was able to get out of the ring soon.

Then as if a miracle happened, Cena rolled out of the way of Bray's Senton.

"Come on!"
Everyone cheered as he crawled his way across the ring.

"Cena!"

Cena jumped for the tag with Roman and rush of cheers broke out as the ref called it. Roman raced into the ring at the same time Cena rolled out.

Angel watched as Roman made quick work of everyone as she walked over and knelt down next to Cena. "Hey."

"Hi." He gave her a weak smile.

"You alright?"

He nodded. "Got the wind knocked out of me, but I'm fine. Shouldn't you be looking after your boys."

Angel shook her head. "Tonight, you are one of my boys."

"Well I'm honored by like I said, I'm fine."

Sighing, she pushed herself off her knees and looked back to the ring to see that chaos once again rained around them. Both Roman and Dean were fighting. Dean was literally clinging onto Rowan as he punched the man in the head, while Roman slid out of the ring, gave Bray a huge uppercut before he took off wards Harper who was laying on the bottom rope.

Excitement rushed through her as she watched Roman jump into the air to hit Harper with a hard kick to the side of the head.

"Angel move!" Dean called.

She turned to see him holding Rowan down on the rope just like Harper was. Quickly stepping backwards, she turned to see Roman racing around the ring. As Roman leaped into the air once more, Dean let go of Rowan and backed up letting the man in the green jumpsuit get the full power of Roman's Drive By.

Dean then jumped him out of the ring before climbing out onto the apron. However, Rowan was able to grab onto Dean's leg and rip him from down. Angel gulped as Dean's chin bounced off the apron.

"Dean!" She raced over to him, sliding on her knees as she got to where he was crumpled on the ground. "Hey, Dean look at me." She begged as she tried to push on the man's shoulder. "Dean?"

"God damn it!" A blast of anger came from him as he picked his head up.

Angel's eyes widened as she saw a red smudge on his hand. "You're bleeding."

"Yeah," He sighed. "The fucker broke me open." He patted at his chin. When he moved his hand away, Angel saw the bleed gash and shook her head. "We're going to have get that looked at."

"It's just a little blood." He tired to play it off as his eyes catch something up in the ring.

"Dean." She warns him, but its not good as the man pushes himself up and into the ring. "Why do I bother." She asked herself as she get up from the floor and moves herself so she's half leaning on the steel steps.

Worried about the cut on Dean's chin, she watches him take off and Suicide Dives onto Rowan.

However, her attention his quickly pulled from Dean as she watches Roman turned around into a Super Kick from Harper. Cover and a kick out.

Holding her hand over her heart, she watches as Roman moves into the corner in front of her. Winking at her, Roman stands up, turns around and locks his sights on Harper.

Just as he started looking like a bull eyeing up the matador, Roman shot himself out of the corner and Speared Harper.

"Cover! Cover!" She cries as he does just that. "One. Two. Three!"

They won!

Excitement and energy rips through her as she raced up into the ring. Clapping her hands, she watches as Dean and Roman embraces in a hug.

This win meant a lot to them. More then probably any other win before it. Because they just proved to themselves that they didn't need Seth. That they were going to be fine.

Tears pooled in her eye as she stood back and let the boys hold their hands up in victory. "That's right!" Dean yelled. "That's how its done!" He gave Roman a high five before turning towards her.

She shook her head at the man as he walked over with a huge, dimple showing smile on his face. As he got closer, her eyes landed on both his bleeding chin and the bit of blood that was on his cheek.

"You got something on your face."

He nodded as he wrapped his arms around her. "I can feel it." He said leaning in. "Will you kiss bloody old me?"

Laughing, she brought her hand up and wiped his cheek. "Of course. I can't deny you a victory kiss."

The kiss was quick, but it held heat in it and astonishing amount for a man who had just went through a battle. It was so hot that when he pulled away, she had to remember what she was doing.

"Congratulations."

"Roman, Dean." Cena called out to them.

Angel turned and looked at the man who was walking over towards them before stepping away from Dean.

They all looked at each other before Cena reach down and grabbed both men's arms lifting them high in the air. A sign of respect from a veteran.

After the crowd cheered for a bit, she let the three men walk around the ring, hyping themselves up, egging on the fans before tapping both Dean and Roman on the shoulder. "As much as I hate to ruin the celebration, we really should get that looked at." She said pointing up to Dean's cut.

D.D.D

As soon as they were backstage, Dean had medics around him. And much to their credit they were keeping a step back, like they were waiting for him to come to them, which was shocking. He knew that as soon as he got broke open, the medics were going to be on him. Blood wasn't something that WWE played with.

When the red stuff stars spilling, the shareholders heads it the ceilin' Dean smirked at his own joke, making his chin hurt from the movement.

"Dean, Roman, Angel!" Renee called from down the hall. "Can I get a word with you?"

He heard Angel sigh as she turned towards her friend. "Does it have to be right now?" She asked as they stepped out of the main part of the hallway.

"Please." Renee begged. "It's for Backstage Pass."

There was a look of distress on Angel's face. He knew she knew that Backstage Pass was live on WWE Network, but he always knew that she was worried about him.

"The medics can wait a couple more minutes before they get ahold of me." He said as he draped his arm over Angel's shoulder.

"Are you sure?" Angel winced as she looked at his cut. "That looks pretty bad."

"Yeah, I'm sure."

She squinted her eyes at him real quick before turning back to Renee. "Real quick."

"You're the best." Renee smiled.

"Remember that."

Find a spot to do the interview, they waited for the Backstage Pass to que Renee.

"Roman, Dean, Angel; you stated earlier that your main goal tonight was to go after Seth Rollins and although you were victorious over the Wyatt family do you think your main goal escaped you tonight?"

"No." Angel was the first to speak up making everyone look down at her. "Our main goal is to get back at Seth for what he did, but who said it had to be done tonight?" Dean smirked at the woman as he ran his finger around on his bottom lip. "See this isn't a matter of if…we're going to succeed, it's a matter of when."

"Sweet pea." Roman quickly took over the interview. "We're not trying to get to the finish of the movie right off the get go. This is going to be a long, drawn out ordeal. We want him to suffer. We're going to take that black heart of his and we're going to carve it out."

Dean let out a chuckle as he played with is quickly swelling jaw line, only to realize that Renee had turned the mic on him. "Uh Yeah. I think if he sweats a little bit. What do you think he's thinking about right now. Every time he stops at a red light huh…"

He couldn't help but get a little excited at the thought of Seth being parinod about them. Always looking over his shoulder, wondering when he they were going to attack. Both Roman and Angel said it best. This wasn't over and it wasn't going to be over quickly. They were going to get their hands on Seth and when they did. Boy oh boy it wasn't going to pretty.

"He's checking his back nonstop that's what he's doing. Because he doesn't have anyone like us around, he doesn't have boys."

"Hey." Angel whined.

"Or girls."

Shook his head as he felt the blood running down his neck again. It made him wonder how bad the injury was. He hadn't seen it yet. He knew that Angel thought it looked bad but she was a little biased not to mention she was the type of person that a bleeding papercut was bad to her.

He needed someone else opinion. "Does that look nasty to you?" He asked Renee as he lifted his chin up for her to see his wound.

She glanced at it and nodded her head. "Yes." She looked again. "Yeah."

"Oh yeah!" Roman leaned down to look the cut. Dean laughed at his best friends' reaction. "Yeah!" He let Roman push his head back to get a good look.

"Ew." Angel gagged. "I knew we should have gotten that looked at."

"Um…" Renee tried to get their attention back. "Triple H also said tonight that the shield was going to be no more."

"Oh." He raised an eyebrow at the question. "My best friend, I'm not going to hang out with my best friend anymore, I'm not going to work with my best friend anymore, I'm not going to FIGHT with my best friend and partner anymore because Triple H said so. Because the Authority said so. Where is he getting these rules from anyway?"

"How many miles have we traveled together?" He asked Roman.

"Countless?"

"How many cars have we crashed together?"

"What?" Angel perked up.

"Sh…" Roman shushed him.

"Don't worry darlin' it was way before you joined us."

She nodded her head. "Well I'm sure about that because I would have been in the car if not."

"Anyway, how many late nights have we had? How many fights have we been in together? How many times have you knocked me out and put me in the hospital or something really stupid? Because when we have problem, we get it out and say it to each other's faces like men. We don't stab each other in the back."

"No, Hunter. He can take his rules and he can shove them up his ass. Believe that…"

"Thank you." Dean bowed as they walked away from the interview.

"And we're good." The camera man with Renee said as they stopped recording.

Renee quickly walked over. "I got to go because I got another interview to do, but I want to say thank you so much. And Dean…Go get that looked at like now." She said as her face twisted into disgust.
