Rise Of G-Morph And The Amazing Spider-Man by Amit Barabi:

Here is a summary for those who read this story on their phone's browser:

Eunice chooses Gwen Stacy to become the successor of the Hero Of Heroes, Ben Tennyson. Please read and enjoy her origin as the heroine, G-Morph, and her ever-growing adventure with her arachnoid boyfriend, Spider-Man. This story is mainly based on the movies The Amazing Spider-Man and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it also has some original ideas. Peter and Gwen are pairing. I was inspired by The Incredible Muffin's My Alien Academia and Ben 10: Unlimited. This story was originally titled "Wristed Heroes." This is the first story of my big planned series, Amit's Cinematic Universe, or ACU for short.

Ben 10 does not belong to me. Spider-Man and the rest of Marvel do not belong to me. Ben 10 belonged to Cartoon Network and was made by Man Of Action, and both Spider-Man and Marvel belong to Disney and were made by Stan Lee.

Author's Notes:

I hope you are having a great day because it just got better.

I forgot to explain something about Peter's motivation in the last chapter, but I will touch on it in this chapter.

Chapter 8: A New Development - Part 1.

(Multiverse-B, Earth-Prime, Mount Rushmore-Omnicity, November 3012)

Magister Kaafuu Tennyson was surprised when his grandfather did not offer him the replica of his Omnitrix, but he was not disappointed either since he never wanted it. He was already one of the best Plumbers of his era, a natural mage with a powerful Anodite spark, and was destined to temporarily lead the Plumbers next time the Omnimaster was needed in another universe. He wanted to prove himself to his grandfather ever since he learned how to speak, but as the years passed, he felt like he was stuck in the shadow of the Hero of Heroes, and accepting the replica would have sealed his individuality nearly completely. His mastery of several schools of magic and his natural abilities was his true passion anyway.

Although he had no interest in wielding an Omnitrix, it was no surprise when the Omnimaster sent him out of all people to find the man who stole from the Plumbers and invaded the new Omnitrix user's universe. He was the most qualified for the job, and his ability set made him the most suitable for the worst-case scenario.

It must have been significant if Glad'X came to Ben less than a week after sending away the replica of the Omnitrix to tell him that the invader had made a move. It was not the first time Kaafuu met the Celestialsapien gladiator, but with his growth in magic, Kaafuu could feel Glad'X's presence to a more disturbing degree this time around. He heard stories about his grandfather's relationship with this individual, and most of them were enough for the younger Tennyson to wish his invisibility worked on Celestialsapien viewers.

The most disturbing part of their interaction was when Glad'X forbade Kaafuu from using his Anodite form until there was no other choice. He had only used that form twice in duties since mastering it, and if a Celestialsapien told him not to use it until the situation called for it, he would not argue.

Peter sat on the edge of the roof of his guardians' house. It was always accessible for him because his window faced that surface, but until he acquired his powers, it was not safe to sit at the edge, which was the only spot that was comfortable enough to sit on for long periods. He had already finished his homework and started working on his two new projects, but if he wanted to complete his plan, he had to do some research.

He needed to learn as much as he could about Oscorp's interest in him and Gwen and find a way to stop those bastards before that Ally person and their partner could strike again. He raised his head in realization and looked around to see anything suspicious, but everything looked normal for his neighborhood. Had it seemed as empty as yesterday, Peter would have thought that Ally could be up for something, but the hot knife user did not make a move the whole day. Perhaps, that was what B.T. was referring to when he left that written request.

He was currently reading Doctor Curtis Connors's book, "A World Without Weakness" while comparing notes with a research file from his father's work on the Decay Rate Algorithm. It looked like his father's work exceeded Doctor Connors's, but he could still find some improvements. In the right hands, this research could push humanity to its next evolutionary age, but remembering what happened to his parents, Peter knew that his plan to take down Oscorp would hurt other people who saw the potential of that work. He will regret doing it, but he had the power to stop Oscorp from hurting other people down the line, and when you have the power to do good things...

"Peter?" His uncle saw him from the street on his way back from work. Peter looked down at the man who raised him, "What are you doing up there?"

"I'm..." Peter pointed at his papers and tried to devise a believable lie, "Homework."

"Alright," Uncle Ben said, "Just be careful."

"Sure," Peter said as he changed his sitting position to a safer one, though staying in that position for too long could become uncomfortable.

...

Finding Connors's address was simpler than Peter expected. As it turned out, he was a neighbor of his parents before Peter moved and was taken care of by his uncle and aunt.

Peter walked towards the door and knocked a few times. He was glad his strength was under control, but he still felt nervous about the next stage of his plan.

He was about to walk away when no one opened the door for several minutes, but then he heard footsteps from the other side and stood straight. He kind of expected the Doctor to be at work, but going to Oscorp Tower at the moment could complicate things and ruin everything.

"Doctor Connors," Peter approached kindly, "You probably don't remember me. I-"

"You are the intern from the other day and the son of my old late friend."

"Yeah," Peter noticed the smile on the Doctor's face and smiled back nervously, "That's right, yeah."

"I am sure that you are very nice, but this is my home," Connors dropped his smile, "I would have loved to catch up about your father, but I need to take my son to his therapy, but if it is about the internship I can assure you that the position will be yours once the office sets an appointment with you."

Curtis was about to turn around and close the door, but he stopped upon hearing Peter's next statement, "I think I know how to solve the Decay Rate Algorithm."

"Are you serious?" Curtis asked, "This is not a subject to joke about."

"I am serious," Peter answered, "I can wait until later when I get that appointment if you want, but-"

Logically, Doctor Connors would have taken Peter's offer, but his investment in Cross-Species Genetics and Norman Osborn's life twisted his arm against protocols, "Can you stay here for 5 minutes?" The one-armed man asked eagerly, "I will talk to you as soon as I return."

Peter nodded, "I wouldn't have it any other way," He knew better than most how the lack of therapy could affect a traumatized child.

...

After several minutes, Doctor Connors returned. He opened the door and allowed his guest to come in.

"Before I tell you what I know, can you tell me what you know about my parents' reason for leaving before their plane crashed?" Peter asked while his host made some tea for the two of them.

"I am afraid I can't help you much," Doctor Connors said, "I don't know why they left or where they were going."

Peter noticed a tiny twitch in the Doctor's face when he talked about their reason to leave, but it was missing when he said he did not know something about their destination. The Doctor lied about the former, but before Peter could ask about it, Curtis accidentally knocked one of the mugs off the table with the pod. Peter's reflexes allowed him to grab it by the handle in mid-air without dropping any of the tea.

"Good reflexes," Doctor Connors pointed admirably. Peter nodded before taking a sip from his tea and handing the Doctor the other mug. Curtis put the pod away and took the cup while thanking Peter.

"No, thank you," Peter replied. Even though he worked out for a while to get into shape, his fellow students kept mocking him occasionally, so any compliment was appreciated, but he still had to mission, and he could not waste time on compliments, "I have read your book. You know, it is something... So, do you think it is possible? Successful Cross-Species Genetics?"

"Yes, of course," Doctor Connors said, "For years, your father and I were mocked for our theories and ideas. Not just in the science communities at large," He clarified, "But at Oscorp, as well. They called us mad scientists. And then your father found a way to breed the spiders with a rare substance, and everything changed. The results were beyond encouraging. They were spectacular."

He paused for a moment before his voice became more emotional, "We were going to change the lives of millions, including my own, but then... it was gone. He was gone. All of Oscorp's research was mysteriously erased, and your father died with the only copy of his research," Curtis remembered countless nights full of tears at the loss of his friend, his chance to get his arm back, and the accident that took his other friend less than a month later, "And I knew that without him, I... I... I grew angry, so I distanced myself from you and your family. I even drove my wife away from me and my son... I am truly sorry."

Peter studied the broken man the whole time, and something told him that he did not lie about any of it. They were both hurt by his father's death. The only hole in this story was the destruction of Oscorp's research and the video on that Oscorp computer.

Memories from that night flashed in front of Peter.

(Multiverse-M, Earth-616, January 1999, New York.)

It happened 13 years ago when Peter played "Hide and Seek" with his father on a rainy night, and it was Peter's turn to seek.

Peter was at the bottom of the stairs and counted with his eyes closed, "Five, Four, Three, Two, One. Ready or not, here I come!" Peter gave his father another second to hide before opening his eyes and slowly walking away from his spot. He scouted the living room and quickly noticed a pair of shoes under the nearest curtain and a bulge that could be his father. He walked around the curtain slowly and quietly to surprise his father, but when he pulled the cover aside, he saw nothing but a broom and a hat. It was a decoy.

His father was always clever with everything he did, and Peter loved mimicking him. If Richard Parker could work smarter, he would never miss a chance.

Peter kept searching the room, but no matter where he searched, he could not find his father. He decided to expand his search to some closets and look for more straightforward tracks. Richard was smarter and more experienced, but he was also bigger and slower than his son, so Peter decided to search for noise. It was easy. Due to his need for glasses, Peter's other senses were slightly better than other kids, but it was nowhere near superhuman. He heard glass shattering and cautiously approached the room it came from. His father's home office.

He passed by a short table with pictures of him, his parents, aunt, and uncle. He did not know it at the time, but those pictures will forever be kept as his little treasure.

When he opened the door, his father was not the man he found. He saw a strange man who carried himself in a way that implied illness as he dropped some folders, ran towards the broken window, and jumped through as if his life depended on it. The man wore dark green armor and a matching mask with pointy ears and yellow lenses that reflected the light in the room and created the illusion of glow.

When Peter saw the green goblin-looking man escaping through the window, he noticed that his father's office was trashed and every drawer was pulled out of its place and emptied on the floor.

Not understanding what he just saw, Peter turned around and called his father, "Hey, Dad? DAD!"

Richard left his hiding spot and rushed into the room with his wife. It was not like Peter to call any of them like that just because he could not find him in a game, so it must have been severe.

When the elder Parkers entered Richard's office, they immediately looked around and realized what Peter could not. Someone broke into their house and looked for something specific.

Richard quickly erased the board on the wall, placed one of the dislocated and emptied drawers on his desk, activated a secret mechanism with a pen, and took out a hidden folder with two red zeros with a matching red line crossing them. He searched the folder and saw that all the files were still in it.

Mary noticed Peter staring at his father and shifting his attention to a cracked jar with black goo inside it. She pulled Peter away from the jar and burned the goo with a lit match before carrying her son to the car. Richard joined them soon after as they drove to the house of his aunt and uncle. He watched as his parents explained the situation to his other relatives out of his earshot.

Richard approached Peter and kneeled in front of his son, "You will stay with your Aunt May and Uncle Ben for a little while."

"But I want to go with you," Peter pleaded.

"No," His father said softly before kissing Peter's hair, "We will be back soon."

Peter wanted to believe his father's words, but then his mother looked at him with a clear expression that said that this was the last time they would see each other.

"Come on, Mary, we need to go," Richard said grimly before turning to Peter, "Be good."

It was only by the next day that Peter found his uncle crying and saw a newspaper that he was not familiar with. His aunt tried to stop him from seeing it, but she was not fast enough.

They were gone. His parents were in a plane crash. Peter tried to deny it, examine for proof, turn the search for any life sign from his parents into the center of his life, and push everyone away when they tried to convince him to stop.

It was only thanks to his uncle, aunt, and two other kids who gave him comfort that Peter dropped his obsession and tried to move on.

(Multiverse-M, Earth-616, January 2012, New York.)

Peter remembered how bitter he tended to be because of it. Doctor Connors was on the same boat, and he needed his own Harry right now.

"Say..." Peter mumbled, "Let's say that it worked. Let's say that I gave you what you needed to make it work. What would people do with it?"

"I would like to get my arm back and hug my son with it. That is assuming you can help me," Curtis answered, "I will still have to research it and experiment on countless lab rats before I can morally test it on humans."

'Morally...', Peter thought. That was not one of his concerns in the last few days, but the Doctor was right, and maybe he could still help him before doing something he would regret. He already knew what Oscorp would do with it, but if he played it safe enough, then maybe he could still take Norman Osborn down without ruining Doctor Connors's life on his way "Like, how much would the foreign species take over? What could the side effects be?"

"It is hard to say, considering that none of the subjects survived so far. The problem was always the Decay Rate Algorithm," Connors explained, "I nearly had a breakthrough two days ago, but it did not work beyond making the subject suffer longer until they died."

"Maybe that note I found in my dad's papers could help," Peter suggested before pointing at a pen and some parers he saw nearby, "Can I?"

"Of course."

Peter wrote down an early draft from his father's old papers. It will take Oscorp months if not years to achieve something useful from this draft, but it would help Doctor Connors's mental state and help Peter get into that dark lab again without any suspicion by the end of the week.

Doctor Connors looked at Peter's solution to the Decay Rate Algorithm while leaning forward. He studied the written solution to most of his problems admirably, "Extraordinary. How did you come up with this?"

Peter pointed at the side of his head with the back of the pen and smiled, "I found a partially burned paper in my dad's old briefcase and completed the rest."

"Peter," Curtis said, "How would you like to start tomorrow after school? You and Gwen could probably help me... all of us a lot in just a few months of work."

"I would love that," Peter replied, "A lot of good will come from it. I know it."

"Thank you," Doctor Connors said as he examined the paper further.

"Wait, were you at Oscorp Tower today?" Peter asked.

"No, I was with my son," The Doctor stated confusedly, "Why do you ask?"

"Gwen told me that she goes to work today," Peter explained, "So, if you were here, then who was her direct superior today?"

"Oh," Curtis chuckled, "She worked today under one of our electrical engineers in the tower's basement. I think his name is Max."

Peter nodded and left the place. He hoped he could speak to his girlfriend soon.

Curtis went to his bedroom and read Peter's paper one last time while looking in the mirror at his missing right arm with newfound hope. He was finally a step closer to getting his arm back.

(Multiverse-M, Earth-616, January 2012, New York, Stacy's apartment.)

Gwen returned home after an unusually harsher day at Oscorp Tower. She had to work under an overall nice guy who loved his profession and was willing to help her and answer her technical questions, but he was noticeably needy when it came to social stuff. Something told Gwen that Max did not have many friends, but he was good at his job, and she could see him reaching a higher position in Oscorp in a few years if he learned to stand up for himself.

She loved her current work under Doctor Connors, but she knew she could get used to this substitute work in a few days if necessary. Heck, if she could get used to fighting for her life as a stone creature in less than 10 minutes, she could get used to fixing emergency generators in two or three days. She had more trouble with the itchy uniforms than with the job itself; wearing buggy and long pants outside of gym classes or weekend jogs was one thing she found herself uncomfortable with. Maybe it was a force of habit, or perhaps it was sensitive skin that made her more comfortable with exposed legs, but she knew for sure that she did not like being forced into those suits.

Speaking of uncomfortable things, she still has not talked to Peter about the incident in his bedroom and Alien V's attack. She will have to tell him even if those Plumbers will take care of things in less than a week. She would have called him, but his phone was damaged two days ago.

Her latter thoughts had to wait for tomorrow since her father came home from work early and she had to keep a straight face during family dinner.

Even though the Stacy family had no guests tonight, it was their tradition to dress nicely when they were all there. Gwen never questioned this since she was raised into this habit and saw the value of the order in it.

Gwen wore a pink sweater with a wide neckline, a knee-length brown skirt, and brown boots, and kept her hair up in a ponytail. Her Omnitrix was hidden under her sleeve.

Her mother wore an orange sweater with a high neck, black pants, and white shoes, and unlike her daughter, she had her hair down.

Her brother wore a blue buttoned shirt that he seemed uncomfortable wearing, black jeans, and brown shoes.

Her father wore a suit that would not look out of place in a court. Gwen could not remember if he wore it for one, but it would not have surprised her. Her father took most occasions in his life seriously, and she always respected him for that almost as much as she loved him. He was a great captain, and she loved that, but she loved him as her father a lot more.

"So, kids, how was your day?" George asked, "Did anything interesting happen recently?"

"I am doing great, Dad," Howard said happily, "I followed Gwen's advice, stopped watching animes, and got the best scores in my classes."

"Really?" George asked with interest while exchanging looks with his wife and daughter, "Can you give up on that hobby that easily?"

"Yeah, I found something else to spend my time on," Howard explained, "I use that spare time on helping a 1st grader with her studies. Her name is Kate."

"How did you start hanging up with a 1st grader?" Gwen asked. Howard was usually more comfortable with kids around his age, so spending time with someone half his age was surprising.

"I saw her running from a bully who must be 5 years younger than me. Kate told me that the other girl's name was Felix Rose," Howard explained, "Apparently, Felix got angry with Kate for wording a compliment wrong. You see, Felix drew a toilet with a cape that was supposed to be a crossed phoenix, and when Kate told her that she loved the caped toilet, Felix got mad and chased her with a bunch of her friends. I helped her hide for a while and offered at least some help with her studies because Felix made her so angry for a while that her grades were harmed."

"That is very responsible, Howard," Helen smiled at her son before turning to her husband, "Isn't that great, George?"

"It sure is, darling. I am proud of you, son," George smiled at his family, "How about you, Gwen?"

Gwen stared at her father speechlessly. How do you sugarcoat telling your family that an invisible woman follows you everywhere through your alien watch from another universe and that an alien cat tried to cut off your fingers and shoot you? Even to a smaller degree, how do you explain crushing on a guy who used to stalk you and nearly sleeping with him a day after he asked you out?

"Is everything alright, Gwen?" George asked, "You looked more stressed than usual in the last few days."

"Somnus."

Before Gwen could answer, a magenta aura surrounded her family and they passed out and fell to the floor.

"Oh my god!"

She got off her chair and stepped back, only to bump into what felt like a tall guy. It must have been Alien V! He came to kill her and her family!

Gwen ran back to the table while activating the Omnitrix and turned around by the time she transformed into Upgrade. She turned both her hands into cannons and made her dress swallow the Omnitrix in case the monster in front of her had the Omni-Jammer ready.

Wait, that was not Alien V. The person in front of Upgrade wore a dark blue cloak with a matching hood that had a few diamond-shaped marks of lighter blue with black outlines. His face was black with marks the same color as his diamond marks, and his mouth was full of sharp silver fangs. His four-clawed hands and three-clawed feet looked as alien as his face.

"There is no need to be hostile, Miss," The creature whispered without moving his mouth, "I am not here to harm you or your family, young successor. She can vouch for me."

"You broke into my home and knocked out my family!" Upgrade shouted as she aimed her cannon arms at his chest, "Did Alien V tell you to... who is she?"

"He is talking about me," Eunice showed up between the two, "Let him see me."

Upgrade formed finger-looking tendrils on her chest beneath her dress and used them to touch the Omnitrix without shifting her attention away from the intruder. A moment later, Eunice's hologram turned into a screen that anyone could see.

"Stand down, Gwen," Eunice ordered, "He is not working for Alien V."

Upgrade lowered her cannon arms and turned them back to normal, "Alright, then who are you?"

The alien stepped forward with a smile, "My name is Magister Kaafuu Tennyson. I am the Omnimaster's grandson," His mouth still did not move as he talked. That guy was clearly not a human, which made Gwen wonder what kind of creature Ben Tennyson was. She assumed that Ben was a human, but seeing that his grandson was not a human raised many questions in her mind, "My grandpa sent me to this universe to find a thief who stole from the Plumbers special gear that could take down an inexperienced Omnitrix user. We don't know anything about the thief, but I can guess that he is the one you call Alien V."

Upgrade turned to Eunice, who nodded before turning back into her human form via mental command, "Is there anything I can do to help other than telling you the little that I know?"

Kaafuu nodded, "Yes, but before that, in which rooms and beds do you want them to wake up?" He pointed at her family before using his magic to levitate them. Gwen instructed the Magister where to put her family members and sat down in front of him in the living room. It was weird dealing with the alien part of her life outside of her room, but that was the ideal place due to her parents and brother being asleep and the cold temperatures that Kaafuu emitted. Gwen explained every piece of relevant information from the moment she found the Omnitrix up to the present. It was weird talking to an alien who did not want to harm her for a change, and she hoped that it would become the norm for the strange part of her life. Kaafuu, for his part, was surprised at Gwen's acceptance of the conversation and professional answers to his questions, but all made sense when she explained that her father is a captain in the New York Police Department.

"Put on some warm clothes," Kaafuu instructed the blonde, "We are going to where you faced Alien V, and I will make sure he won't bother you by sunrise."

Gwen followed the order without hesitation by going to her room and changing into the white sweatsuit she wore when she and Eunice met for the first time and covering the lower half of her face with a neck warmer. She exited her room and activated the Omnitrix with Stinkfly's hologram on display.

"Is this what you want to turn into for flight?" Kaafuu asked. It was a miracle that no one had spotted her yet.

"Yeah..." Gwen replied with a hint of curiosity, "AmpFibian can't fly fast enough without turning into a living lightning, and I can't risk electrifying every electronic device on my way. Do you have a better alternative? Also, can you fly?"

"Obviously," Kaafuu unfolded his cloak and hood and revealed it to be three pairs of wings that gave him a moth-man appearance. She also noticed his outfit to be some sort of white space armor with a belt that looked vaguely similar to the one Alien V wore, but unlike the monster from her nightmares, Kaafuu's belt carried a badge and a strange pouch instead of the pen-looking device, the force field coins, a sword hilt, and Null Void projector. Kaafuu opened the pouch and pulled out of it a cyan alien drone that was way too large to be held inside that pouch.

"Turn into Upgrade and merge with my scouting drone. It has a stealth feature, so you will be invisible and soundless to humans."

"Okay, but what about you?" Gwen asked as she took hold of the surprisingly light drone that was big enough to contain her torso, and her eyes went wide when Kaafuu turned invisible in front of her, "Never mind."

The Necrofriggian and Galvanic Mechamorph flew out to the night sky with Upgrade on the lead, though the 360-degree vision that the drone provided her with allowed her to look at Kaafuu as they flew at a relatively slow pace. Kaafuu requested that speed flight to study the city for potential hideouts that Alien V could use. Finding this criminal was one of the most important solo missions he ever took, and he did not plan to rush things unless it was necessary. The only backlash that came from this idea was Gwen's Omnitrix getting close to reaching its time limit mid-flight, but Kaafuu cast a stamina spell on the alien device before it could force her back into her human form.

"So, what are you?" Upgrade asked when she suspected the mutual sense of tension, "I think I saw your species in Eunice's presentation when I got the watch, and I have heard Ratz Maher mentioning you as a potential successor to your grandfather, but I don't even know what species you are supposed to be."

"I am a Necrofriggian," Kaafuu explained without looking at her, "My species is known for stopping solar flares by eating the overflowing star plasma and cooling down the source with our frost breath. We can also eat all kinds of metals, fly, levitate, turn invisible and intangible, survive in most environments, and react to projectiles that move faster than bullets."

"Your species sounds incredible, and under military training, you must be great at your work," Upgrade complimented him, but something in Kaafuu's description missed the Galvanic Mechamorph, "What about your telekinesis, knockout power, and that thing you did for my watch? Are those powers exclusive to you? Are you a mutant or something?"

"No," Kaafuu did not bother to shake his head, "My grandfather's grandmother was an energy-based being called 'Anodite'. It skipped his father's generation and took many trials and training for my grandfather to unlock his Anodite spark, and while I never knew my father and don't know if he had this spark, I have inherited the full potential of my Anodite side. My grandfather is a master of theoretical magic, but he can't do much with it. I, on the other hand, am more capable than him in that field, but I still have a lot to learn."

"Huh..." The Galvanic Mechamorph would have nodded if she still had a neck in her current state, "I have some questions if you don't mind."

"Go for it."

"You said that you never knew your father. Were you raised by your mother?" Upgrade asked.

Kaafuu chuckled, "I can see why you would think that, but your guess is based on a wrong assumption. Necrofriggians reproduce asexually. My grandfather laid the eggs for my father and uncles, and my father laid an egg for me."

"But what about Ben's grandmother?" Upgrade felt confused, "How did he have a grandmother?"

"It is simple," Kaafuu explained, "My grandfather is a human, but when he used his Omnitrix around your age, my species' transformation allowed him to lay my father's egg."

"Wow..." The Galvanic Mechamorph was speechless for a moment, 'I hope I will never have to go through this mess. I have enough drama in my life right now. I don't want to become a mother yet.'

"I remember how small he was when I first saw him," Eunice added, "I never saw another Necrofriggian who loves his relatives that much. Can I babysit your children when you and Peter settle down?"

"Wh-what about magic?" The shapeshifter changed the subject in a slightly more robotic voice that was the Galvanic Mechamorph's equivalent of a blush or fluster, "Are there any rules I need to know about?" She then noticed their destination, "Never mind. We are here."

"Good. The place looks crowded, but I can work with it," Kaafuu said confidently, "Land in that house's backyard and then transform back. You can leave my drone there for now. I can sense that the residents are asleep. I will wait for you in the alleyway."

The teen did as Kaafuu said and climbed the fence without being seen after Eunice assured her no one was looking. She would have complimented Kaafuu for his quick thinking and strategy, had she not been stuck on the fence by her waistband for a moment and struggled to get free without losing or ruining her pants. At least she wore pants instead of a skirt, or that minor inconvenience would have been worse, and come to think about it, any struggle with that fence came from her lack of acrobatic skills and did not earn any resentment to Kaafuu.

She ran afterward to the alleyway, where she met Kaaffu in his invisible state.

"Can you stay in one place so I will know where to talk to?" Gwen asked, "Bystanders will linger if they see me talking to thin air."

"It will not be a problem," Kaafuu's invisible eyes glew magenta for a moment as he chanted words that Gwen could vaguely understand as "Cast human mask", and in seconds, his body was replaced by an illusion spell that made him look like a tall black man with dyed blue hair and a matching blue sweatsuit, "Here. Now we can act like normal friends who are telling stories to one another," His voice did not change with his appearance, but at least now, Gwen could talk to Kaafuu in public without drawing too much attention, "Now, explain to me exactly what happened after you timed out."

Gwen stared at Kaafuu's human form for a moment, but she quickly shook her head and did as he said. After describing to Kaafuu for the second time that night yesterday's events, Gwen watched the Magister examining the spot where the dumpster used to be.

"Interesting..." Kaafuu whispered while scanning the area with an alien device, "This is not the last place a Null Void projector was used that day. I detect another spot closer to your home that seems to be the last place he traveled to. Alien V's Null Void projector had to be modified because I could not detect its energy until now. I must admit that I am impressed."

"Do you think that is where his base is?" Gwen asked.

"Not necessarily," Kaafuu answered, "Your home is in a higher society area, so even if he had the money to buy or rent a place there, he would be easier to track. It is far more likely that he wanted to attack you and your boyfriend for the second time and something stopped him. But we will have to check."

"Alright," Gwen nodded, "I will get your drone and-"

"No need," Kaafuu cut her off, drew a remote controller out of a pocket that was located where his pouch would have been in his true form, and after a moment, a transparent and colorless device levitated in front of the blonde, "I will cause a minor distraction on the other side of the street. I will know when you are in the air."

With that, Kaafuu phased through the ground, and in a few seconds, Gwen saw a bunch of people walking by approaching something far away that she could not see from the alleyway. Gwen did not waste any time; she turned into Upgrade, merged with the drone again, maintained its cloaking mode, and flew into the sky.

Kaafuu, back in his true form, caught up to her a lot quicker than she expected, and since they were flying to a place they already knew, there was no need to stretch the Omnitrix's time limit by flying slowly. Flying at a faster pace felt so good that Upgrade almost wished she could keep the drone and use it for flight regularly, but before she could even consider vocalizing her childish desire, the two of them reached their destination.

"I don't get it," Gwen complained as she looked around the seemingly ordinary rooftop of one of her neighbor's buildings, "There is nothing here that could prevent Alien V from attacking me. Please tell me that I am missing something."

"He was here," Kaafuu assured Gwen. He held his alien scanner in one hand and focused his Anodite senses through the other, "He left the Null Void around the time your mate escorted you home right here..." He pointed at the spot his scanner detected, "But then..."

"And then what?" Gwen asked worriedly.

"I don't know," Kaafuu admitted as he returned his scouting drone to his small pouch.

"WHAT?!" Gwen shouted. There was no one around to hear them anyway, so there was no point in being subtle, "What do you mean? Can't you use a spell to locate him or something?!"

"I can look a week into the past during a full moon, but we are too close to the beginning of the month for that," Kaafuu explains while pocketing his scanner and focusing on his senses, "I don't know what kind of tech he had before he stole those weapons from Armory 11, but it prevents me from sensing his mana."

"Was it all for nothing?" Gwen asked with obvious annoyance in her voice, "For all I know, he could be kidnapping my family while we were flying around the city! You've got to give me something to work with!"

"I have," Kaafuu said calmly with a smile on his face as he turned around and faced Gwen with flaming mana in his hands. Gwen prepared for an attack, but she received a request instead, "There is a sealed magic portal where you stand. Can you step aside so I can open it without chopping you in half?"

Gwen hesitated but did as he said regardless of her recent fear that he might attack her. If not for the Omnitrix, Gwen could have sworn her hair would have turned grey by now. Kaafuu threw the two magenta fireballs at the spot, and the three saw a glowing golden circle made out of runes and symbols.

"Wait, I saw it once!" Gwen exclaimed.

"I know this symbol!" Eunice announced at the same time before looking at Gwen, "What? When?" Eunice asked, "When did you have a chance?"

"I saw it a few months back on the news," Gwen explained, "This symbol was used in New Mexico where that magic hammer showed up. Why? Where did you see it?"

"Can you show up, Aunt Eunice?" Kaafuu asked, "I can't understand your conversation when I only hear one of you?"

Gwen ignored the title Kaafuu gave her friend and activated the screen to let her talk.

"As I was saying, this is the symbol of the Bifrost Bridge. I saw it the last time I came to this universe," Eunice explained, "It is like a network of portals that bind this Earth to eight other worlds in the universe. I never learned much about it, but I think it is the primary way Asgardians traveled across the universe."

"Asgardians? What are those?" Gwen asked, "Did they send that magical hammer to New Mexico?"

"Forget about New Mexico!" Kaafuu shouted in excitement, "I found him! He is still in New York, and I can get right through the portal to his current location!"

"Great. How do we fight him?" Gwen asked.

"I fight him," Kaafuu corrected the Omnitrix user, "That guy is unpredictable and dangerous. You need to go home and prepare for a desperate attack."

"I am not just going to sit back and give him a chance to escape! He sent an assassin after me and attacked my boyfriend!"

"Do as he says, Gwen," Eunice stood between them with a serious expression on her face, "He is one of my universe's best heroes, and you don't have enough experience with your powers."

Seeing the logic behind Eunice's claims, Gwen nodded, "Fine, but I need a safe way to know that he is captured."

"I can arrange that," Kaafuu agreed to Gwen's terms. There was no point in letting her worry for no reason if the threat was dealt with. He grabbed her watch and activated the communicator, "Here. Now I can contact you when the job is done. Now, go home and try to relax a little."

Gwen looked at her watch and smiled at the display.

[Feature unlocked: Communication Mode I]

[You are allowed to communicate with the secured network of the Plumbers in the current universe]

[Available contacts: 1]

"Thank you, Kaafuu, and good luck with-" She paused in realization, "Wait, is it that easy to unlock features in the Omnitrix? I have been trying to unlock new features for days, and only got the uniform modifier by accident."

"It is a lot more difficult than it looks, but the Omnimaster knew that the two of you may need this feature, so he taught me how to unlock it for you. He may haven't met you yet, but he cares for you and wants you to be happy," He shifted his look towards Eunice, "Both of you."

Eunice left her visible screen and hugged Kaafuu, and Gwen joined hesitantly.

With that, Kaafuu stepped into the circle's center and activated the portal. The runes on the ground replicated and hovered around him and a dome of light. The last thing he saw before warping to his destination was Gwen leaving the rooftop.

(Multiverse-M, Earth-616, January 2012, New York's Sanctum Sanctorum)

When the warp field faded, Kaafuu found himself in what he could only describe as the inside of a ruined temple.

The place vaguely reminded him of one of his elemental magic schools on that Four-Nationed Earth a few years back. It was thanks to his travel to that universe and that planet's master of elements that Kaafuu learned more than bending the elements of nature, but also gained control over his Anodite form.

He stepped out of the chamber that held the warp field spot and followed the sounds of injured people. The further he flew, the more bodies he saw. None of them was dead, but they were gravely injured. He used a bunch of healing spells on each of them as he went, but he could not waste time making sure that they would make a full recovery. At least their pain would be eased until he could heal them better later.

Before making the last turn to where he sensed the most powerful magic user in the facility, Kaafuu pulled a magenta glowing crystal ball out of his pouch and held it up for a second. The crystal ball darkened until its glowed vanished and it turned black. He felt his mana reserves refilling as the stored energy flowed into his body.

He turned around the corner and saw more bodies, with only one person standing. She was a bald woman in golden robes holding something that looked a lot like a Chronosapiens time-sphere. When he looked past her, Kaafuu saw a man in black in the center of the green bubble. Then, the woman turned around, and Kaafuu could see a burned mark on her forehead that he could not recognize.

The woman entered a battle stance and surrounded her arms with magic circles, and Kaafuu could now see her necklace. It looked like a golden eye with a glowing green gemstone at its center. He barely had a moment to speak before the woman fired a magic blast at him and he had to defend himself with a mana barrier, "Did you come to back up your friend, intruder?" She asked coldly, "I warn you: If you plan to cause any more damage to this place, your fate will be as grave as your partner's."

"There is no need for us to fight, fellow mage!" Kaafuu started to struggle to maintain his barrier, "I am here to arrest this criminal and bring him back to my universe for an interrogation. I am not your enemy! I even healed some of your people on my way here! Let me heal the rest, and then we can get it all settled. Some of them are still dying!"

The woman looked around and finally realized that none of her friends and students was dead, but some of them were close. She could use the Time Stone to reverse their wounds, but that would weaken her time prison on the invader, and with how little she knew about him, he might be able to escape without her full attention. It left her with only one choice to save them.

"I don't know what kind of demon you are, but I can sense the sincerity of your bargain," She lowered her arms and allowed her magic attack to fade away as the burned mark on her forehead disappeared, "I am known as the Ancient One. And you are?"

"Magister Kaafuu Tennyson of the Plumbers," Kaafuu introduced himself with a bow and pointed at the villain, "This criminal is known as Alien V. He stole advanced technology from a military armory of my organization, traveled between universes and dimensions illegally, and assaulted..." Kaafuu paused to count every mage he saw in this building, "At least 100 people from this planet."

"Can you tell me more about this criminal while healing my people?" The Ancient One asked. Kaafuu noticed her heavy breathing and could sense something off about her.

"I can, but I need you to stay in my sight while I do that," Kaafuu replied, "No offense, Ancient One, but I can't have you stabbing me in the back when they get back to their feet. Also, do you need healing? Your mana reserves are dangerously low, and what you have is so twisted that I am surprised you only have one cursed mark."

"I will take my turn last. I don't plan to die yet, but most of my people lack my quick recovery."

"As you wish," Kaafuu nodded, flew through the wall, and came back through the hallway with as many bodies as his wordless telekinetic spells could carry with the most injured being his top priority. The Ancient One stood behind the time sphere and Kaafuu levitated behind the field of bodies in a position that allowed him and the Ancient One to see each other at all times. She watched as Kaafuu used stone tablets with runes on them, elixirs waterbags, incantations, or physical contact to heal her people either in groups or one at a time. By the end of the process, Kaafuu ran out of healing items and had to use several mana crystals, and most of the mages still needed to go to the medical section of the Sanctum by the Ancient One's order. She also told those who could walk to carry the ones Kaafuu could not heal better, leaving only the Necrofriggian and the Sorceress Supreme with the invader.

Kaafuu looked at Alien V, but he could not recognize any mutual feature shared with any of the villains he knew under the mask. Whoever this guy was, he knew how to cover his tracks and hide his identity, "How did he beat all those people by himself?" He asked, "Did he use one of your portals, or did you bring him in?"

The Ancient One's breaths got heavier from using the Time Stone continuously without the power of the Dark Dimension and draining her personal source. She would recover in moments once she could rewind her body with the Time Stone or absorb some energy from the Dark Dimension again without anyone seeing her, but as she was now, she had to focus on maintaining Alien V's prison.

"I... I sensed his presence in our universe and... brought him in for... interrogation..." She said weakly, "We thought we could capture him by... working together, but he was too strong... I had to use my... two greatest weapons, but he still... How did he not kill any of my people with such power and skill?"

"Injuring so many people like that without killing them is not a miss or bad luck," Kaafuu analyzed the situation while studying The Ancient One's wounds and what he believed to be her cursed mana, "He wanted them alive, and he knew someone would come in a week after his initial arrival here..." Realization struck him like a Tetramand fist when he saw Alien V staring at him through his time prison. Alien V knew Kaafuu would come here and waste most of his supply on healing them! "It's a trap!"

Before The Ancient One could process Kaafuu's warning, she fell down to her knees from the overuse of her magic and Alien V's prison shattered. Almost as if he was aware of his environment the whole time while being frozen, Alien V tried to slash Kaafuu like he did Peter while trying to cut The Ancient One's throat with his spear in a spinning motion.

Kaafuu turned intangible and formed a mana barrier between the spear and The Ancient One right in time. This level of skill could not be achieved without his many years of experience.

Before Kaafuu could check on The Ancient One, he saw Alien V dashing past a giant jar and preparing his Null Void projector for a quick escape, but the gun-looking projector was struck by an ice spike that caused an explosive reaction.

Alien V only had enough time to place himself between the small explosion and the giant Jar, and when he slammed against it with great force, Kaafuu noticed a familiar aura surrounding the criminal. It stunned the Necrofriggian for no longer than a second, but that second was all Alien V needed to kick the base of the jar and roll out of the way as the jar fell in front of Kaafuu.

The Magister turned intangible and flew backward in case the magic he sensed in the jar could overcome his intangibility. He did not phase through the floor in case Alien V would exploit this opportunity to escape, and that turned out to be a mistake as the jar's hole glowed and the worst pain he felt since his first encounter with a cursed weapon. Kaafuu screamed in pain as he felt his mana reserves draining at a quick pace and sensed his soul coming next. It was the most painful torture he experienced in the 100 years he had lived, and there was nothing he could do to escape it as he was locked in place and forced back into his tangible state.

Alien V stood there and stared at Kaafuu's torture for several seconds before aiming his spear at the Plumber, "Die, Tennyson!" The weapon glowed red and he fired a red beam at the Necrofriggian's armored chest and ran away.

The blast knocked Kaafuu out of the jar's range next to the nearly unconscious Ancient One. She turned Kaafuu to his back, searched in his belted pouch for the last mana crystal, and placed it in her new ally's hand before passing out.

Kaafuu absorbed the mana from the small crystal like a sponge absorbing water. Some of his power was restored and his soul healed, but he could no longer use larger spells in this fight without risking his life. Had he turned into his Anodite form, that magical jar would have killed him for sure. He levitates back to his feet and quickly ejected The Ancient One with his one non-magical healing item that could help her without abandoning his mission: The Volcaptailian emergency serum. This serum gives its user temporary access to solar absorption, regeneration, curse recovery, pyromancy, and strength, and its primary ingredient is the volunteered blood of one of Kaafuu's masters, Flam'ord, the Dragon Emperor of the Volcaptailians and the Flame God of Magarock's floating continents. He did not know the nature of her illness and suspected that she would have died otherwise, but he knew for sure that she was an ally and that the serum could only help her condition.

As Kaafuu flew as fast as he could by combining his natural levitation, wing-flap, and well-timed intangibility, he avoided using any of his mana to enhance his flight speed. The mana crystal he used to mitigate the effect of the giant jar saved his life and brought him back to the fight, but it was a weak one, and he was still short of mana and somewhat exhausted from the unpleasant experience.

When he caught up, the Magister saw Alien V fighting on the floor above some of the recovered Wizards that Kaafuu healed earlier, led by the only other person whose mana was twisted more than The Ancient One. The man had silver hair and orange robes. Tennyson could feel gravity shift all over the place when he got closer to the master of the mystic art. The man tried to make Alien V lose balance by changing the meaning of up and down rapidly and tried to use mirror-looking swords to cut the invader every time he saw an opening, but Alien V kept adapting, blocking, and countering with his weapons in graceful skills.

Before Kaafuu could use Somnus to make Alien V fall asleep, he was forced to use a wind spell instead to catch a mage whom Alien V knocked out and threw at a spiky wall made by the same mage in a failed attempt to impale the invader, and when the Magister returned his attention to the battle, he saw all of the weaker mages on the ground with broken limbs and their orange-robed master with a black-photonic blade in his heart.

"No!" Kaafuu shouted while clapping his hands upwards, "Somnus!"

He could feel the spell taking place, but Alien V simply laughed at the attempt, "Silly child," Alien V mocked as he threw Master Kaecilius at the Necrofriggian and put his latest victim's ring in his pocket, "Your small crafts cannot harm me. It was my pleasure to exterminate this scum of a wizard from this world, and when I take down the girl, not even the Omnimaster will be able to stop my plans for..."

Before Alien V could finish his sentence, Kaafuu fired a powerful gust of freezing wind at his enemy that was mostly blocked by the sacrifice of the coin shields, made several sharp moves with his arms that caused the floor beneath Alien V to collapse under his feet, and then punched at the ground floor in a quicker pace that launched several fireballs at his target. These moves were considered weak by comparison to most of his arsenal, but they required more skill than energy, and in his current state, Ben's grandson could not afford to waste his mana on greater schools of magic.

Alien V fell to the floor below without any way to smooth his fall as his feet were frozen before he could register that the floor broke under him and was then forced to endure several minor burns from Kaafuu's next attack. He broke the ice on his feet without damaging them with his Osmosian Spear and noticed that his sword was nowhere to be found by the time Kaafuu levitated at a safe distance and caught his breath. The Plumber felt a small portion of his mana recovering with every other breath. When he had enough in him, he charged at the seemingly weaker Alien V. The criminal tried to impale Kaafuu with his Osmosian Spear. Still, Kaafuu formed an ice sword in one hand to knock the spear aside and charged his other fist with mana at the last possible moment before impact with Alien V's chest produced an orange shockwave and launched Alien V against a wall next to the door to the chamber they both used to enter this building. That mana-infused fighting move was known as the Rock Cracker from the Revonnah Kai magic school.

When Alien V did not move, Kaafuu encased him in nanite-based chains from his belted pouch. That technology was designed to restrain any humanoid creature weaker than a Tetramand and shock them if they overpowered the material. He picked the spear from the floor and was about to store it in his pouch, but at that moment, Kaafuu heard a crackling sound, and the chains fell to the floor as Alien V was surrounded by a coat of lightning and an aura of energy that Kaafuu had never felt before.

"You know, you should not use energy to lock someone who uses an Osmosian weapon," Alien V's voice modifier was damaged by the last strike, but it did not stop him from mumbling something and firing a lightning bolt at Kaafuu.

Kaafuu's armor was designed to mitigate many kinds of attacks, and his magic training could help him either absorb a portion of the attack instead of suffering whatever his armor could not tank or block the rest at the expense of more of his mana. Intangibility was not an option for him when it came to lightning. He was about to do the former, but before the lightning bolt could strike him, a flaming magic barrier shielded him from the attack.

Kaafuu did not need to look back to figure out who saved him.

"I do not know what you did for me, Magister, but you have my thanks," The Ancient One walked beside Kaafuu. Her mana did not feel as twisted as before and the injuries she sustained were healed, "Did you learn anything of value about our enemy?"

"He is most likely an Osmosian, but something is not right," Kaafuu explained, "He uses that species' most unpredictable weapon and performs one of their feats, but his aura says something else. Either way, don't let him grab you, and avoid using electricity."

"Great detective work, Tennyson. It has been a while since I killed one of Ben's relatives," Alien V said sarcastically through his damaged voice modifier before delivering a death glare and switching to a more serious tone, "Too bad you will not live long enough to report it!"

Before any of the mages could reply, Alien V's whole body glowed red as he charged at them. Kaafuu could briefly see Alien V transforming into a Biot-Savartian and pulling the spear in his direction via the species' magnetic field before he turned into a Chimera Sui Generis and punched Kaafuu before he could let go of the spear.

Kaafuu turned intangible in time to phase through the floor and avoid further harm, but his intangibility did not spread to the spear, and it was back in Alien V's grip. Alien V then threw a punch at The Ancient One, who tried to block it with a magic barrier, but there was still enough force behind the attack to shatter said shield and inflict head trauma. However, it left Alien V open when Kaafuu struck him with another Rock Cracker that pushed Alien V back and forced him back into his human-looking form.

The presumed Osmosian glared daggers at the pair and gripped his Osmosian Spear so tightly that his hands started to bleed. He growled through his voice modifier and raised his remaining weapon before he started spinning it overhead at incredible speed. Red energy spiraled around him like a red tornado and his blood-red eyes glowed as if they belonged to a demon.

The intense wind indicated certain doom to the recovering Ancient One, but it also refilled Kaafuu's stamina and mana reserves immensely. Due to his strong affinity for wind magic and heavy use of general spells in many battles, Kaafuu made sure to learn from Nature-Loving schools of magic that turned his inhaled breaths and surrounding winds into energy sources. Kaafuu started moving his arms in what looked like a random manner, but he was actually drawing symbols of as many relevant spells as he knew from every school of magic he had mastered. That combined spell was the only thing that could stop Alien V's ultimate move, but it might cost him his life in his current state.

The Ancient One got behind him as quickly as her head injury could let her, "How can I help you stop him?!"

"MAKE IT WINDIER!" Kaafuu shouted.

She did not question him. She drew power from a dimension of eternal wind and summoned the Winds of Watoomb at Kaafuu's back. Normally, that spell was enough to counter the velocity of a rocket and move in a straight line, but when it hit Kaafuu's back, it turned into a golden, blue, and magenta hurricane that kept his form from the Ancient One's view. She saw both Alien V and Kaafuu's hidden form levitating under their own authority. The hurricane exploded and revealed Kaafuu's entire body glowing magenta, his cloak opened into glowing wings, another pair of insectoid arms grew under his original duo of arms, alongside a short reptilian-looking tail, and his Plumber armor was replaced by a blue-colored plate armor that one could find in fantasy stories. That was Kaafuu's Anodite form.

The Anodite used his extra pair of arms to quicken the spell casting, and in a moment, hundreds of symbols appeared in front of him. He inhaled and waited for the right moment. He had only one chance to do it right.

Alien V glared at the Anodite as he finally charged his Osmosian Spear with enough kinetic energy and brought it down in full force, "CURSE YOU, TENNYSON!" A mountain-buster beam was fired from the spear's blade at Kaafuu who exhaled as hard as he could. Instead of a frozen stream of air coming out of Kaafuu's mouth, there was a shout of immense force that took the form of a berserker rainbow-colored dragon the size of a To'kustar fist.

The collision of both attacks annihilated the upper floor and roof of the Sanctum Sanctorum and Alien V's mask and armor while shaking what was left of the building and its surrounding neighbors.

Kaafuu fell to his knees and hands in exhaustion. This spell could take down a common To'kustar if used correctly. It has many names due to its having roots in multiple cultures, but Kaafuu's favorite was always Dragon Wrath. Using this spell on such low mana levels could cost the life of the user if they do not have a way to recover quickly, and only those with the blessing of an adult Volcaptailian and mastery of multiple schools of magic could use it. Thankfully, he had his Anodite form and the power boost from The Ancient One to secure his survival. However, survival does not mean getting out of something unscathed, and if he reverted to his Necrofriggian form before he recharged, he would have died.

...

When the smoke cleared, Kaafuu saw Alien V leaning on his broken spear and limping toward the portal room. Kaafuu took several deep breaths to regain some of his strength. He barely had enough power to stand up, let alone fight, and from what he understood, those portals, or rather, warp fields, required magic to utilize, and Alien V... had... no... magic...

'Oh no!' Kaafuu realized too late as Alien V stepped into the room, put on the ring he stole from the mage he killed, and activated the warp field.

The Ancient One was unconscious again, but even with that head trauma, Kaafuu knew she would recover soon thanks to the serum, and he could sense that everyone else was alive and would be here soon to help her. He fought enough on an empty tank, and as much as he hated waiting and letting the bad guys escape, it was his best option. He could send his scouting drone through the warp field, but if it gets destroyed and someone picks the parts before he can come for it, he would cause the kind of leak that the Plumbers are supposed to stop. He already demonstrated alien kinds of magic to this place in front of magic users who could attempt to copy him. He would have to take a resting move this turn if he wanted to secure the enemy's king.

Several mages arrived in less than five minutes. Kaafuu gave them a brief summary of the battle and ordered them to cast the same wind spell that The Ancient One used to recharge his mana reserves and bring her to a sunny place.

Once he recovered, the Anodite reactivated the warp field and traveled to where Alien V did, but when he got there, he saw three other active warp fields, two inactive ones, and several open doors outside of the building he found himself in.

Magenta mist came out of the Anodite's mouth and hands as he punched the floor and froze it in seconds. Ten giant ice spikes grew from the frozen floor and shattered in a display that revealed ten ice golems. Each of these golems had taken a form similar to a Loboan or a werewolf and had a glowing orb of mana where their hearts should have been. Once the mana runs out in an hour, they will turn into motionless ice statues and either melt or shatter after some time. It was a complicated spell for one that took no incantation, but it allowed the caster, who must have an affinity to ice magic, to create a squad of sentient soldiers who would think for themselves but obey their creator's every command.

"SEARCH THE BUILDING AND BLOCK EVERY EXIT!" Kaafuu ordered as he sensed through all of the warp fields, "HE COULD NOT GET FAR!"

Alien V could be anywhere, and with this location having too many civilians around it, he could not find the criminal even after a few of New York's mages followed him and searched outside in public. Kaafuu, for his part, could only tell when and where the warp field opened, and to his frustration, Alien V had opened all of them at the same time with four of them to different locations on Earth and one to another world that emitted a lot of heat.

(Multiverse-M, Earth-616, January 2012, New York's Sanctum Sanctorum, an hour later)

Kaafuu had fully healed everyone in the medical rooms of the Sanctum Sanctorum and in the massive portal chamber of the other location, which he had learned to call Kamar Taj. That was the primary HQ for this planet's mages due to its six warp spots around each other.

He was exhausted from healing so many people and fixing a whole building without breaking the illusion that kept its destruction from being at the center of public attention, so he took a nap in the medical room.

Kaafuu's eyes slowly opened in one of the medical rooms of the Sanctum Sanctorum. His mana reserves were not quite full, but that was better than the close calls during his battle. He had a massive headache, but he could sense that his effort kept everyone alive.

"Easy there, Mister Tennyson," The Ancient One told him as her gloved hands pushed him lightly against the bed, "I restored some of your stolen energy, but the rest was lost in the jar of souls. I don't know what you are supposed to be, but you recovered faster than any man I met before."

"I need to get back to my universe and report it to the Omnimaster," Kaafuu said professionally while phasing through The Ancient One's hands and floating above the floor, "Thank you, Ancient On-"

"Astrid," She corrected him, "You saved all of my people and me. I think you deserve to know my name, Magister. I know what caused my mana, as you called it, to twist, but I could never understand its applications until your potion fixed it. I feel better than I felt in... many years, and I will forever owe you for that."

Kaafuu nodded, "I will remember that in my report," Kaafuu said coldly, "I may need your help now. Alien V can't escape this universe via his Null Void projector, but he has one of your rings. Can you track him like you did before you brought him here?"

Astrid shook her head, "He stayed in the universe for too long and used one of our Sling Rings to escape. He could be anywhere in the Nine Wrelms by now, and we could not find him until he travels to another universe and back, but we will search the globe for him. Our intelligence department lacks manpower, but we will do our best to help you."

"I need to go soon, but I would need to know whatever I can about those Sling Rings."

(Gwen's room, an hour later.)

Gwen shivered in her bed at the lowering temperatures. She knew the nights were getting colder and that her short gown did not do much to mitigate the cold, but the heater and her blanket were usually enough. That cold, however, was so freezing and intense that she could not stay asleep. She opened her eyes and turned on the light to get up and turn up the heat, but when she saw the figure standing next to her bed, a tape that appeared over her mouth out of nowhere was the only thing that prevented her from screaming.

"I was hoping you would stay asleep for a little longer," The figure said, "But since you woke up, we might as well talk."

Gwen tore the tape off her mouth and took several deep breaths, "Are you crazy?!" She hissed, "You could give me a heart attack, Kaafuu!"

"You are a healthy young human who has turned into a regenerating alien more than once. You will be fine," Kaafuu whispered coldly, "But your health condition is not the reason I came here."

He levitated into a sitting position to be at eye level with the blonde and gestured for Gwen to do the same. She sat on her bed with her pillow and blanket on her thighs as they were pressed against one another and moved up and down in turns, both so her legs wouldn't freeze from Kaafuu's sub-zero body heat and so he could not see anything up her short nightgown.

"I faced Alien V," Kaafuu said outright. His statement froze Gwen even more than the coldness he emitted, "We fought, and I injured him and took most of his gear, but he escaped."

Gwen looked at Kaafuu with wide eyes. His voice did not convey any particular emotion, though that could come from him not being a human. She did not wish to judge someone who probably handled the situation better than she could have, but she still had to ask him some questions, "D-Did you- Did you learn who he was or anything else before he escaped?"

"I thought I learned what he was," Kaafuu shook his head, "But I noticed some inconsistencies in my logic. I will have to return before sunrise to my universe and report everything to my grandfather and check every archive and database to narrow Alien V's identity before anyone else can come here."

"Wait, so is he just going to stay on the loose until you or someone else comes here to arrest him?!" Gwen could barely keep her voice down.

"Shh," Kaafuu placed a finger in front of his sharp teeth, "I found some allies in the last few hours, and they are searching the city for him. I will make sure another Plumber gets updated and comes here in less than 24 hours. You still have some time to sleep, so make it count. You don't want anyone to suspect anything."

Before she could reply, Kaafuu cast Somnus on her and she fell asleep.

...

When Gwen woke up to her alarm clock the next morning, Eunice assured her that Kaafuu's visit was not a dream and he left a written report with most of the details from last night. She opened it and read the details of Alien V's escape. He also sent her the global map of every warping spot and a brief explanation about Sling Rings so she could avoid those spots if necessary.

"He is still dangerous, but at least he is on the run," Gwen sighed. In many ways, it was relaxing. With Alien V out of her hair for now, Gwen could finally deal with her favorite source of drama in her life, and with her new sense of relief and optimism this morning, he better be in the mood.

She dressed up, brushed her teeth, ate breakfast, and said goodbye to her brother and mother before heading to school. Her father was already on his way to work.

When school started that Thursday morning, the biggest news was about the earthquake last night, but only one student knew what caused it. Several teams started to investigate, but no facts were published. Only some crazy theories ran around the school about a man with mechanical tentacles that caused earthquakes whenever he moved and conveniently disappeared when people looked around or a group of elemental demons made out of sand, wind, lava, and water that tried to eat the planet's core and were banished to another dimension by a wizard with magic glasses. Every crazy theory was quickly dismissed since none of them made any sense and lacked any evidence. The last one sounded like an idea for a bad superhero movie that would hit way too far from home. It was the day's most spoken topic.

Gwen was eager to find Peter and speak to him. She had to speak with him about what happened two days ago, and she did not know which stressed her more, finding a way to explain her secret to him without driving him away or discussing the fact that they almost slept together shortly after he took her first kiss. The latter seemed like the obvious choice since it is the normal topic out of the two, but it still scared her, and the former involved Peter's safety and could be more relevant if Alien V knew that she lo- liked Peter and could use him to get to her.

Telling Peter about Alien V and the Omnitrix would assure his safety, but there was also a chance that he would blame her for getting hurt in the first place if he learned that Alien V came for her or see her as a monster if she had to show him her powers but to keep her boyfriend safe, Gwen would take the risk. He may not take it well despite his mutation and his will to keep her safe two days ago, and if that happens she could lose her chance to tell him how she felt about their experience in his room and how much she had grown to care for him.

'Yes, that is what I am going to do,' Gwen thought, 'I will talk to him about our kiss, and then I will drop this bomb on him.'

Unfortunately, just like yesterday, Peter and Gwen had no classes together and their breaks took place at different times. One of their school's policies pushed students to interact with people they were less familiar with by mixing different groups at the time during the breaks from class to help to adapt to new people. Since the school knew of the growing dependency on social media, it did not pretend that students who liked talking to their friends could not speak to them after school and meet. The idea allowed Gwen to have a rich social life among the other students, and one of the school's cheerleaders told her something interesting about her boyfriend. However, ever since she kissed Peter, his broken phone and the school's arrangement prevented her from speaking to him before work.

Her only chance to meet him would be right after school was over, and as planned, she saw him talking to someone in the hallway after his last class.

Earlier that day, Peter was assigned to the basketball hall for an art class. The room for art projects went through some maintenance, so the art club had to share space with the cheerleader squad and basketball team.

He helped a friendly girl with dark hair who looked somewhat younger than him design a new sign for the hall. The girl was not as pretty as Gwen, but calling her ugly would be a lie. The two girls seemed to have a preference for grey outfits, but Gwen's outfits always carried some elegance to them. She had dark brown hair that could be mistaken for black in the right light and was mostly held in two buns and left two strands of hair at the sides of her eyes. She wore glasses that along with her hair, made her eyes challenging to see from most angles and no makeup. She wore grey, dull, and oversized sweatpants and a matching grey sweatshirt under a dull pink wind vest. Her white shirt under her sweatshirt matched her white sneakers. She either prepared to get paint stains, could not afford prettier clothes, or did not want people to notice her, because Peter could barely pay attention to the girl until she spoke to him.

"Flash says that you and Gwen Stacy are together," She asked Peter, "Is it true?"

Peter raised his head, "Why? Did you want to ask me out or something?" Peter answered with his own question, "I don't think we ever spoke. What is your name?"

"Ashley," She answered, "And no. It is just that her brother helped put my little sister in her place, and I wanted to thank him."

"So, do you want me to pass it to Gwen so she would pass it to her brother? What did your sister even do that you are glad that she was 'put in her place'?"

Ashley sighed, "We both like drawing, but Felix is not so good at it, and when someone complimented her and rightfully did not understand what she was trying to draw, my sister harassed that child and tried to victim-blame them for the whole thing. Gwen's brother came in and told my sister to back off, and I think she started seeing her actions in a different light. Can you please pass it to Gwen or her brother when you see them?"

"Yeah, sure," Peter nodded before he realized something, "Wait, your sister's name is Felix? That is a boy's name."

"My dad has wanted a son," She explained, "So he named her like one."

Peter looked at her with wide eyes, "Geese, that's harsh. Is this why she is mean?"

Ashley shook her head, "No, but her name is similar to that actress who plays the antagonist from "Phoenix Slayers" and she sees the character of the Cross Queen as a role model, but you know what little siblings are like, right?"

"I am an only child," Peter answered. He tried to sound cold, but he still had his amazing charm.

"Oh, sorry," Ashley apologized, "I probably shouldn't have dropped my family drama on you. Can you pass me that brush over there?"

"Sure."

As soon as Peter turned, he heard a shout from a familiar jerk, a ball slamming against a plastic object, and a splash. When he turned around again, Peter saw a bucket of paint spilling all over the sign that he and Ashley worked on for the last half an hour.

"You did that on purpose, Flash!" Ashley yelled. She tried to hide her anger, but Peter recognized her attempt. It was the kind of anger that encouraged a quick vengeance, and he never had the power to act on it... until now.

"No, but I should have," Flash said smugly as one of his friends picked the surprisingly clean ball for him and threw it back into the hands of the bully, "You better watch your back." He and his friend returned to their game as if nothing wrong just happened.

Peter could have imagined it, but he thought he saw Flash smirking at him when he said that to Ashely. It reminded Peter of his conversation with Flash the other day. Flash claimed that he wanted them to be friends again, but he also wanted Peter to become like him. Did he hurt Ashley because they were friendly and waited for Peter to turn his back on her? Was that his way of forcing Peter to play his stupid game?

"Are you okay?" Peter asked as he picked up the can of paint. Before Ashley could reply, Peter saw Flash throwing the ball at Ashley again with a clear intention to hurt someone from the corner of his eye. He quickly shifted his body and caught the ball with one hand. Had he not acted, the ball would have hit Ashley's kidney. He ignored the random student who cheered him for his catch and looked at Flash with wishing a smile forming on his face to match the idea forming in his mind.

"Give it up, Parker!" Flash ordered, and when he saw hesitation, he made a "hand it over" gesture with his middle fingers.

Peter looked at Ashley, who appeared amazed by his quick reflexes, and handed her his camera, "One sec'," He walked towards Flash slowly and could barely hide his smile at what he was going to do to the bully, "Why won't you take it from me?"

Flash laughed while his friends chuckled. The two teenagers stood less than a meter in front of one another with Peter holding the ball in his right hand.

"That's right, Flash. Take it, man." One of Flash's friends encouraged him.

"You've heard him," Peter said, "Go ahead. Take it."

Flash tried to reach for the ball, but before he could touch it, Peter moved the ball behind his back at incredible speed and caught it in his left hand in the blink of an eye. Flash tried to catch the ball again, but Peter repeated the action and held the ball in his right hand again over his head, where the same trick could not work for a third time. Flash tried to grab the ball as quickly as he could, but Peter spun the ball around Flash, which caused him to follow and turn around with his back to Peter while searching for the ball that he believed fell on the floor, and before he could realize what Peter did, the brunette bounced the ball on Flash's upper back to his hands, much to everyone's amusement.

Peter smiled at the humiliation Flash was suffering, and when his Spider-Sense alerted him that Flash was about to tackle him, Peter pretended to throw the ball at his victim's face and made him stop before he could reach him, "Just take it," Peter said with fake sympathy, but Flash was just smart enough to glare at him without moving.

"Alright, how about this?" Peter decided to throw his former bully a bone and covered his eyes but beat the purpose of his gesture by exposing one eye, "Alright, how about that?" He turned his back on Flash and held the ball with his fingers in front of the other teen. When Flash tried to take the ball by pulling it toward himself, it looked like the strength of Peter's fingers was enough to keep the ball in his hand.

"Do something," One of Flash's friends called out.

"Stop playing with him!" Another shouted.

"Take it from him!" A third student exclaimed.

"Come on, Flash," Peter whispered, "Take it. You can't be that weak."

Flash stepped back, half-beaten and annoyed, and Peter bounced the ball a few times to taunt him, "Alright, bring it!" Flash challenged Peter angrily, "Come on, Parker, Come on!"

Peter ran a lot faster than anyone expected, pushed Flash aside, and jumped for a high zero-ranged score, but Peter only joined everyone's shock when the glass backboard.

...

Peter and his uncle sat at the school principal's office half an hour later. The teen's face faced the floor at the realization that he could hurt someone had he not practiced control over his new powers, and he still damaged his surroundings. He could barely listen to the school principal's "The Reason You Suck" and "We Are Very Disappointed With You" speeches. He did not need the guy who ordered poorly scheduled clean-ups in the nurse's room and screwed the ring to a glass board to tell him that breaking things was terrible. He already knew that. He was far more concerned about his uncle's disappointed look.

Thankfully, when Peter pointed out the design flaw of the backboard, there was very little Peter could be blamed for. That thing could break any time someone hit it with a ball, so the school was forced to pay for the damage, but Peter was forced to clean the basketball hall after school starting the next day for a week as a punishment.

...

The two Parkers walked down the hallway.

"They are not gonna make us pay for the backboard," Peter hurried to say something to calm his uncle down.

"I don't care about the backboard," Uncle Ben said with well-controlled anger before switching to a clear lecturing tone, "Was that true?"

"What?" Peter asked. He was not sure which part of this scenario was unclear to his uncle.

"What I heard in there just now," The elder Parker clarified, "Did you humiliate Eugine?"

Peter hesitated for a moment before he answered, "Yeah, I did," He paused for a moment, "But..." He did not know how to explain it without exposing that he betrayed what the man in front of him taught him most of his life.

"But what?" Ben asked.

"He deserved it."

"Did he?"

"Yeah."

"Is it because he hit you?" Ben did not believe him. Something else must have happened, but he wanted Peter to say it. "Is it?"

"Yeah, but not just..."

"So, all of this is about getting even," The passive-aggressive tone was clear "If so, I guess you must feel really good about yourself, right? Am I right or wrong?"

When Peter did not give him the answer he hoped for, Ben assumed his nephew was not as justified as he initially thought, "Yeah, I thought so. Well, thanks to this little escapade of yours, I had to change shifts at work to come here, so you have to pick up Aunt May tonight at 9:00. Understood?" Peter tried to look away, so Ben had to make sure he had his nephew's attention, "Is that understood?"

Peter nodded, "Yeah, yeah."

"Okay, good," The older man said with a lack of satisfaction with the scenario when he noticed the girl standing several meters behind Peter, "She looks familiar," Peter turned around and they both looked at Gwen, "She is the girl on your computer who came over the other day, isn't she?" When he saw the worry on Peter's face, Ben knew exactly how to punish his nephew, "He's got you on his computer," Gwen looked away for a moment in embarrassment as Ben added a blatant lie, "I am his probation officer."

"Have fun with that, and don't forget Aunt May," Uncle Ben whispered as he left.

Peter chuckled at his girlfriend, who seemed in an oddly good mood after hearing his uncle.

She had her hair down and did not wear her signature black bow, and Peter noticed a small amount of makeup on her pretty face that hid his girlfriend's tiredness from him. She wore a black T-shirt with white sleeves and a V-shaped red neckline that matched her short and black jeans mini-skirt and had long black boots that were the only indication that the cold weather even affected her. She also wore another one of those bracelets on her left wrist.

Once no one was in earshot, Peter spoke up, "He's playing a character. Do you remember my uncle? He doesn't know that we- mmmm."

Peter was cut off when Gwen pulled him forward and kissed him on the lips like she expected it to be their last positive interaction. Peter pressed Gwen closer to him by the waist while she felt his chest through his shirt to make sure there was no painful reaction from him, and when she did not get that kind of reaction, she tried to feel his back but was interrupted by his backpack and skateboard. She spoke only after they parted for air, "Yeah, I remember, and I already told you that I am fine with those pictures," She took another deep breath before she continued, "But I like it when you are with me for real a lot more."

"Yeah, I prefer it, too," Peter agreed and refused to let her go for a little while.

"Can we talk somewhere more private?" Gwen asked with some reluctance, "I think we should talk about the other day, and I don't have a lot of time before work."

"Sure," Peter said, releasing her as they exited the school.

...

They sat in the backseat of Gwen's car not very far from the school with Gwen practically sitting on Peter's lap. There was more than enough space for them to sit apart, but the urge to be around one another overcame any shyness either of the teens possessed.

"I didn't stop what happened in your room because I didn't want... it... to happen," She answered the question before Peter could ask, "We were going so fast after kissing that I freaked out, but I thought about us ever since I left."

"I thought about it a lot, too," Peter reassured her.

Gwen chuckled, "Of course, you would think about it. Guys always do."

"Oh, come on," Peter protested, "You just said you thought about it more than I did. I also thought about how scared you looked after those guys attacked us."

Gwen was silent for a moment she thought about what could have happened in Peter's room whenever she did not think about Ratz Maher, Alien V, school, or work, and the latter two took a lot more effort for her to focus on, 'I have no high horse to ride on in this conversation,' Her eyes went wide at her choice of words, but before she could rephrase her mindset or come up with a way to soften the hit, Peter spoke.

"I still don't remember what happened after you left my room and before I saw you in that alley, but I won't blame you if it leaves a scar."

Gwen attempted to lift Peter's shirt to check his wound but stopped when she saw him flinch. He didn't want her to see that his wound had healed, and Gwen wasn't sure if telling him that she knew would make things better.

Instead, she decided to ease them both with the news from last night. Maybe she could tell him enough without ruining what they had, "About that, they trailed him last night, took most of his gear, and almost caught him, but he escaped without revealing his identity."

"Did your dad learn what that Alie guy wanted from us?" Peter asked with full attention. He hoped that Alie was not associated with Oscorp or Osborn, but it made too much sense. Peter found out what Osborn did to his parents and Gwen claimed to be close to him, so Osborn must have tried to eliminate them and only backed off when Peter showed his value.

"My dad?" Gwen asked in confusion and unintentionally allowed the conversation to take a different direction.

"Yeah, he is a cop, right?" Peter asked, "Didn't you mention it once?"

"He is a Captain, and I mentioned it to my friends many times," Gwen corrected him, "First you didn't know that I had a car and now you didn't know that my dad was a Captain? What kind of a stalker were you?"

Peter looked away at the mention of his old habit and how ashamed he was for his previous status in Gwen's life, "I didn't do it often," Peter admitted in a mumble, but he returned his gaze to Gwen when she held his hand.

"I never hated you for stalking me, but it held me back from wanting to know you better," She confessed, though she could have sworn she saw a guy with brown hair and as tall as Peter following her a few times outside of school in the two months before she got found the Omnitrix, "I know it makes us both messed up, but I like you, and I know that you like me. This is why I am glad we are past that."

Peter whispered, "You're probably the most normal part of my life right now."

The two of them smiled at one another and leaned closer until their lips met. Gwen could not tell him about the Omnitrix now without ruining the moment, but maybe she could still give him a useful warning.

...

After a considerably extended and passionate makeout session in her car, Gwen told Peter that the one he dubbed Alie was after her for reasons that are not related to him, but when she refused to tell him why, she settled on telling him that "Alie" was spotted in specific locations in New York that they should both stay away from. Peter found her claims lacking, but something told him his girlfriend did not lie.

After the young couple parted at Peter's home, Peter got a text from Doctor Connors and missed the beeping sound from Gwen's wrist when she drove away. Doctor Connors wanted Peter to start today.

...

'Damn it!' Gwen slapped herself mentally for not taking the opportunity to tell him the truth. She felt so selfish for keeping from Peter important information after he proved his will to fight for her.

Gwen waited until she got home before she looked at the message, but Eunice told her that it was about the new Plumber who was going to search for Alien V and about her last visit to that universe. When Gwen asked if Kaafuu was going to be involved again, Eunice told her that Ben's grandson was busy taking over for him and had to deal with an older case about a crimelord named Deesknee who tries to diminish the Plumbers' authority on one planet and brought suffering to many small businesses without any trace to his involvement.

This explanation sounded weird, and Eunice's flickers indicated bad news, but her words did not.

When she made it to her room, she listened to the message while picking her clothes for work. The message was written, but it also had the audio of the sender, and when it was finished Gwen could barely move and realized why Eunice flickered.

"This is the high commander of the Plumbers of Multiverse-B, Universe-Prime. After the unfortunate incident of thievery from our eleventh armory, I have sent Magister Kaafuu Tennyson to your universe to investigate, capture, and if necessary, kill the criminal known as Alien V.

As you probably know by now, Kaafuu suspects that Alien V is an Osmosian (a human-looking alien that can absorb matter, multiple forms of energy, and DNA) survivor of a cult named 'The Living Death' that invaded your universe nearly 1,000 years ago and killed many of our best officers.

Alien V demonstrated mastery of Osmosian weapons, energy absorption, lightning manipulation, and transformation. Suspicion of association with The Living Death arose when he claimed responsibility for killing Gwendolyn Tennyson and performing magic similar to that of the cult.

I would advise you to stay with your genetically enhanced boyfriend and share your secret with him if you find him worthy of your trust and stay away from the warping spots that Kaafuu had mapped on your global map.

Unfortunately, as much as I trust Kaafuu to finish what he started, his information about the possible return of the Living Death and his previous obligations forced my hand to send a more suitable officer to keep you safe and eliminate the threat that killed my cousin.

The new Plumber on the case had already visited your homeworld and traced Alien V to another world named Muspelheim, but the criminal's trace kept finding dead ends. We will discuss your safety and your training under Unitrix as soon as my investigation leads me back to your world.

Until we meet, Magistratus Benjamin Tennyson, the Omnimaster."

"Ben Tennyson is here?!" Gwen shouted. Thankfully, no one else was home. She read the message several more times to be sure she heard it right.

Author's Notes:

In the movie, Curtis's book was called "Science of Life" in the movie, but that name sounded too nerdy, even for me, so I changed it to something that sounded cooler and fitted the Doctor's personality and arc better. After all, he speaks a lot in the movie about how he wants to create a world without weaknesses, so why not name his book after that?

Writing conversations between Curtis and Peter is probably the most difficult part of this story due to the different contexts of their dynamics. Remember that Peter had no interest in hurting Oscorp in the movie. The only part more difficult for me to write was the battle between Kaafuu Tennyson and Alien V, but I will talk about it in a moment.

I planned to show one of Gwen's nightmares, but that would force me to change this story's rating to M, and I think I am already scratching that barrier.

Some of you asked me on Discord about how I plan to change things between this story and my version of Infinity War, and to that I say: Stronger continuity, consistent magic rules, characterization, world-building, no Ant-Man, Falcon, or Wakanda, and the list goes on and on.

Speaking of magic, I could probably make a whole YouTube series about how magic works in my story, but all you need to know for now is that it would allow me to write the scenes with magic users more easily in the long run.

Also, I named The Ancient One Astrid because it gets annoying to write her title all the time, and when I checked, I could not find her canon name, so ACU Ancient One is now called Astrid.

The fight between Kaafuu and Alien V was rewritten so many times that I lost count. Kaafuu had to lose Alien V and act competently, but other than that, I had no idea how I wanted to lead to the conclusion. Oh, and Kaecilius had died before he and his followers could betray Astrid, so that is going to make some changes down the line.

I only regret not flashing out Kaafuu's past, but he will return enough times in the vast Amit Cinematic Universe to drop more hints.

Some of you probably wonder why Kaafuu did not bring more plumbers with him. My reason is that it would have taken another few hours to get the approval, and since Alien V injured so many wizards, I would say that he made the right call to rush in and save all of them.

Ashley Rose is not an original character, but her younger sister, Felix, is. She just did not have a name, and like with Astrid, I did not want to keep calling her "the girl" when the actress who played her gave such a great personality in just two scenes. I named her after an Instagram artist named "Ashes_Archive". She makes amazing Spider-Man costumes, and she allowed me to name "the girl" after her.

Edit: I just learned that Ashley Rose was called Missy Kallenback, but since it took more than five minutes of research to discover, and her name was never mentioned in the movie, I am keeping my version of her name. If she gets a larger role in this series, it will probably involve Howard since she is only 9 months older than him and has already shown interest in thanking him.

The chapter was supposed to continue up to Uncle Ben getting shot, but I saw how long this chapter got and decided to keep it for the next one.

If you want to support my writing, you can do it on P-atreon. There is a link in my bio and the description of most of my YouTube videos. This chapter is the longest I have ever written, even before adding to it the third part of Ben's Old Records, and I can only write on weekends now because I don't have time during the rest of the week, so any support on my P-atreon can encourage me to write more often on my free time.

Next time on the Amit Cinematic Universe: A New Development - part 2.
