Welcome to Chapter One Hundred and Ten! This Chapter I took a little bit of a liberty with and changed and ending of a match. But hey two chapters in a month! WOOT right...Right it didn't take me like a whole month to right this one. I hope you enjoy!

Smackdown: July 18, 2014

Hank!" Angel called as she walked through the Crown Coliseum with a large canvas bag full of cookies in her arms. "Hank!" She called again as the older man came into view.

Turning away from what he was doing. "Wow, where's the fire."

"No fire." She said walking up to him with her bag held out in front of her. "Just cookies."

Looking down at the bag, his eyes went wide. "That's a lot of cookies." He said seeming scared.

"Don't worry, they're not all for you." She said adjusting her hold on the bag, so that she could rummage inside for the ziplock bag labeled with his name. "These are yours."

"Oh, thank god." He chuckled as he took the bag. "I was starting to wonder if you were trying to kill him or something."

"Of course not." She shook her head. "Who else would help me get the boys on the show?"

"Whatever poor shmuck would end up with my job after I dropped dead from the sugar rush."

"But it wouldn't be the same."

"That's so sweet." He said before looking at his bag of cookies.

"Something wrong?"

"No I'm just trying to decide whether or not I wanna run this to my truck because last time everyone tried to steal them from me."

"Oh no!" She gasped. "They shouldn't be stealing your cookies, not when I baked enough for everyone." She carefully jiggled the canvas bag around. "Just let them know that they're down in catering."

"Don't worry, I will but I'm not taking any chances." He said hugging the bag to the side. "Now if you excuse me." He looked around as if he was being watched. "Thank you for the cookies by the way."

She chuckled as she watched him walk away. Once Hank was out of her view, she started to catering. She needed to drop off the main bulk of cookies before the bag snapped her arms. She also needed to check to see if Dean took the other bag down like she asked. Trying to make sure not to jostle everything around too much, she weaved her way through catering. "Hey!" She waved as she set the bag down at her feet.

"Hey Angel." One of the members of catering waved back.

"Where do you want like a whole shit tone of cookies."

"We cleared a spot over there on the desert table." They laughed as they pointed at said table. "Do you need any plates or containers?"

"Nope." She shook her head. "I brought some. Oh, did Dean drop off another bag."

"It's under the table."

"Thank you!" Lugging the bag to the table, she looked around at the cleared off spot that she hoped was big enough to hold everything. "We shall see."

Pulling out the second bag, she opened it and grabbed out the three large plastic plates that she had bought for this and set them down on the table. And thank goodness, there was just enough room for all three. She then took out the little cards that she had made to label what each of the cookies were. She then started on the dauting task of setting out all the cookies, or at least as many as she could.

"Hey there stranger." She heard from behind her. "I thought that was you, when did you become part of the catering team?" Renee asked as she leant against the table. "Did you need yet another change in job position? Three wasn't enough?"

"Oh god no. I'm perfectly fine with my management position. I'm just putting out the cookies I brought."

"You brought cookies?" She said glancing to the table, her eyes went wide. "As in bought or made all of these?"

"Made 'em." She smiled. "And don't you worry I have a bag in here with your name on it. I just have to find it."

"Why on earth did you make all this." Renee asked sounding just as baffled as everyone else has.

"Well, I had an urge to make some, and at first I decided to make some for just my parents, Dean and, I remembered I promised you some, and then I thought about making Hank some more, which made me think of Roman, Nikki and John, Jimmy and Jey, and Pagie. So, then I just decided it would be easier to make them in bulk so that way I could bring it in for catering, instead of making up bags for everyone, so here we are." She gestured to the table.

"So did this at least fill you urge?"

"Oh yeah, I was good about a third of the way through."

Renee sat her coffee on the table and reached for one of the bags to help her. "What does a 'p' mean?"

"Peanut butter." Angel said pointing to their plate.

"Ah." She nodded. "So, I guess that the 'c' stands for chocolate chips and a 'v' means vegan."

"Yep. Also keep an eye out for the one marked with an 'r'. Those are yours."

Together they plowed through the massive amount of cookies until the plates were heaping and they called it quits. "I'll ask catering where they want the extras." Renee said as she happily munched on a cookie.

Turning back to the three plates, she used her hands to wipe up some of the crumbs that were scattered on the table when something bumped into her back, making her hit into the table.

"Oops, sorry."

When she recognized the voice instantly, she gave an internal groan. "It's fine." She said turning to see Eva Marie and Alicia Fox walking passed. Which she instantly thought was a weird pairing.

"Oh, Angel!" Evan laughed. "I didn't even realize that, that was you." She said clearly lying. "I thought you were a member of catering." Her eyes went wide. "Dean didn't fire you, did he?"

She sighed. "No, I just thought that it would be nice to bring some goodies for everyone."

"Oh, how sweet of you." Eva said leaning down at the table. "Did you make sure to double check if those are really vegan because there are some brands that say their food is vegan when it's not."

"Don't worry, they're vegan."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I made them."

"You made them?" Foxy asked.

"I did." She crossed her arms. "With Dean's help."

Eva made a face but rolled her eyes. "You flew all the way from Las Vegas with all that."

"Oh no, we drove down here from Pittsburgh." She explained.

"Pittsburgh?"

"Where I live."

"Right, well that's quite a trip."

Angel shrugged. "It's whatever. After all the traveling we've already done, I've gotten used to it." She said as Renee stepped up next to her.

"Hey girls." She said sounding very chipper, but Angel could hear the hard tone in the woman's voice. "What's up?"

"Nothing." Eva smiled. "We're just chatting with Angel about the cookies."

"Oh well if you haven't, you should try them. They are amazing."

"Maybe after our match." Foxy stated. "We wouldn't wanna throw up in the ring."

"Right." Eva smirked. "Wouldn't want that."

"Sure thing."

"Well, we really should be going, tootles." Foxy waved sweetly before flinching like she was going to hit them. The two of them walked off.

"That was strange." Renee sighed.

"It was Foxy and Eva, so what do you expect?"

"Ture." She said crossing her arms. "Did they say anything to you? Anything rude or underhanded."

"No." Angel shook her head.

"That's even more strange."

"Right." She turned towards the cookie table. She was just as perplexed about Eva not saying anything, but she had a feeling that it was because Renee had showed up. But either way she was thankful that she didn't have to deal with her shit tonight. "So, what are we doing with the leftovers?"

"Oh, uh. Catering said just leave them with them and they will take care of it as needed."

"Oh cool."

After handing the cookies off, Angel wiped her hand off on her pants and smiled. "Well, that' done."

"What else do you have to do?"

She took a deep breath as her mental list came to the front of her mind. "I have to go get changed out of my comfy travel clothes, make sure that Dean is ready to go. I also have to make sure that he went down to the trainer's room. And then I have to make sure that there wasn't any changed to the schedule and grab next week's house shows list."

"That's a lot." Renee said. "I just have to go down to hair and makeup, and let the ladies make me look all pretty for the show. And then I have to go talk to Racheal about what I'm wearing on Sunday."

Angel's heart dropped. "Shit, I don't have anything special planned for Sunday."

I don't think it's that big of a thing for this one, since it's not one of the big four."

"I hope not because at this point. I'm not going to be able to figure anything out. They'll be lucky if I have my head on my shoulders on Sunday."

Walking through the hall, they made their way to the 'main' area of backstage where all the important things were. One being the table that held all the schedules and whatnots for the week.

Grabbing one of the packets off the table and took a look at them. She smiled as she looked over the schedule for Sunday and saw Dean's match. It was really there, which almost baffled her. Even though Hank called them to tell them that they got the match, it still surprised her that the Authority hadn't changed it or added anything to it. There's still time for that.

"Oh! We're both on the morning rounds for the meet and greets." Renee said. "If we're lucky maybe they'll put our tables next to each other."

Angel shook her head. "What are we middle school girls who want to sit next to each other in class?"

"Well duh!"

"Just checking." She said as her phone went off in her pocket. Pulling it out, she saw that Dean had texted her that he was done in the trainers' room and was heading to their corner to get ready for the show. "What do you know, Dean went to the trainers' room all by himself." Angel said answering him.

"Oh? Maybe that curb stomp knocked some sense into him." Renee said.

"I don't think so. The man's been training like crazy, really pumping himself up for his match with Seth. I think he's just playing nice so that they can't take the match away."

"That sounds more like him."

"We'll that's just one less thing I have to worry about. Though that's only one thing on my long, long list."

"Well then I'll let you get too it but before that, I wanted to ask you if you would be willing to join me on the Kick Off Panel on Sunday?"

"You want me and Dean to join you?"

"No, just you."

"Just me? Why? I'm not the talent."

"So? We bring Paul Heyman on all the time."

"And you want me to live up to that. Are you nuts?" Her eyes widened. "I'm no where near as good on the mic."

"Come on, the fans love you and it'll be neat to have a female on the panel that's not me." Renee begged. "You don't even have to stay the whole time. I'll let you know when to come in and then you can come sit by me for a moment while we talk about Dean and Roman's matches and then you can leave. Simple as that. Please." She batted her lashes.

"Fine."

"Thank you!" Renee gave her a side hug. "You're the best."

"Uh huh."

"I'll text you more about it later. For now, your girl needs to get her hair and face done up."

"Yeah, go do that. I'll talk to you later."

"Oh and while I'm thinking about it, we should really hit up the beach this week while we're in Florida."

"Yeah, just one more thing to add to my busy schedule." She called back.

"You're going."

"Just let me know when."

"Good girl!"

Rolling her eyes, Angel turned around to start back to where they stashed their gear when they got here.

As she passed the trainers' room, she wondered to herself if she should stop to make sure that Dean really went. Though the thought disappeared as soon as she saw him sitting in a metal folding chair against the wall. She noticed right away that he had two new bandages on his face, she also spied the tape that peaked out from under his shirt and jacket.

"Hey there." She said stopping next to him.

He looked up from wrapping his hands and smiled. "Did you get everything settled with the cookies?"

"I did." She said bending down to look at his face. "Everything fine on your front."

"Yeah they just replaced the Band-Aids that you had put on me this morning, and tapped up my left arm, nothing new."

"Good." She said running her thumb gently over his cheek.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I've had these all week."

"I know but they didn't look as bad with just the normal band-aids. These make it look more official."

"Ah." He patted the bandage over his head eye. "They're no more official than they were before."

"I know." She sighed.

"What you got there." He nodded at the papers in her hands.

"The schedule for this week."

"What's it looking like?"

"I don't even know why they put out a schedule yet, since Battlegrounds everything is on Sunday and everything's up in the air."

"Yeah, that's kind of dumb."

"Kind of dumb?" She shook her head. "It's very stupid, all they're doing is wasting paper."

Dean chuckled as he started wrapping his wrist again. "I don't know what you expected?"

"I don't know. Maybe, something that would help me do my job."

"You're asking too much for the Authority."

"Yeah, I know."

"Oh, I did learn one thing." She said.

"What's that?"

"We're on the morning crew for the meet and greets, and Renee is going to try and get them to put her table next to ours."

"Great." He sighed placing the papers on the travel case next to him. "That's going to be fun."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that you and Renee can get a little crazy when you're together."

She rolled her eyes. "We're not that bad."

"If you say so."

"Between you and Roman, and Renee and me which duo is worse?"

He pursed his lips. "You got me there. Romana and I by a landslide." He smirked like he was reminiscing.

Glancing down at her phone, Angel sighed. "I got to get changed."

"Why? I like what you're wearing."

"I'm in legging and an old band t-shirt."

"I know." He wiggled his brows. "Looks good." He leaned over in his chair so that he could see her backside.

Smacking him, she shook her head. "Even if I did feel comfortable to go out in this, I don't think the legal team would like me going out in a Linkin Park shirt."

Dean frowned as he reached forward and grabbed her by the waist. "Fine, go get changed, but give me a moment to appreciate this." He spun her around and whistled before pulling her into his lap.

She giggled as she 'fought' his hold. "Behave, we're at work."

"You keep telling me this, but then you melt right into my hands when I start kissing you." He said, his warm breath tickling her ear. "Just like you're doing now."

"And that's why I tell you to behave. Because once you start, I turn into putty." She heard the deep chuckle behind her. "Dean please, I do have to get ready for the show." She felt his hands drop to her hips, holding her in place. Those strong fingers digging into her, and it sent shivers up her spine as she remembered the marks that littered her thighs after a long night with him.

After a few seconds, his hold lessened, and he clapped her on the leg. "Alright, I'll behave." Blinking she glanced over her shoulder to the man she was sitting on. The look on his face said that he wanted to do anything but behave. "You got three seconds to get up before I change my mind."

His words made her jump out of his lap, she didn't know if he was serious or not, but she didn't want to push her luck. As she adjusted her leggings and smoothed out her shirt, she heard him snickering. "I'll be right back." She took off quickly to get ready.

By the time she was finished getting dressed, the production crew made the call for start of the show standby, which means they needed to head down to the gorilla. On their way down to the gorilla, they passed everyone who was preparing for the start of the show.

"There you are!" Hank said as soon as they walked in. "Are you ready."

"Always."

"Good, good. Oh hey, they have a promo video that's going to play once you guy get to the ring." He said looking down at the table in front of him. "It's a catch-up video about what happened on Raw."

"Alright." Angel said with a cringe. She wasn't really looking forward to reliving what had happened on Monday.

"And your mics are waiting for you down by the ring. I have someone waiting on standby to give them to you. Once the video is done, they will be live."

"Sounds good."

"Ok everyone we go live in, five, four, three, two…live!" He said as he put on the large headset and sat down at the table the monitors."

Turning towards the curtain, they could hear the crowd cheering as Michael Cole welcomed those at home to Smackdown.

When Angel glanced over at Dean, she watched as a switch was flipped, and that intense, overwhelming look washed over his face. She knew he was letting out all those nasty feelings that he had been storing ever since Monday, letting out all those dark thoughts that he had been keeping on a tight leash. And she knew he would put every ounce of them into this promo.

When his music hit, neither of them hesitated as they walked out.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Angel Miles and Dean Ambrose!" Lilian said over the speakers as soon as they walked out onto the stage.

Without slowing down, she followed Dean down, up the steel steps and onto the apron. Where Dean sat on the ropes, holding them open for her climb through. Giving him a smile to day thank you, she got into the ring and met the crew member who was holding out the two mics for them.

Thanking them, she turned around and walked back to Dean who was pacing around in small circles. "For you." She passed him one of the mics.

Just as they settled into the ring, surrounded by the screaming crowd, she saw all the screens around the arena lit up as the video package that Hank had warned them about started. Filling up with dread, she kept her eyes on Dean and watched his face twist with each moment that the video played on.

"Is that all you got?" Her eyes widened as Dean's tried, beaten up voice echoed over the speakers. Then Seth's yell ran out, followed by the loud thud of Dean's head. As she felt her emotions starting to run wild again, she had to remind herself that What's in the past is in the past.

Only once Dean's music started back up, did she look back at the screen. She watched as the graphics for Battlegrounds popped up and announced Dean and Seth's match. "Well, it's certainly official now." She said as the camera's cut back to them.

"All I heard for the last two years; Seth Rollins is the smart one. Seth is the Architect of the Shield. Look at the big brain on Seth." Dean said frustration and anger pouring from every word. "And Seth is smart. Seth is smart enough to know that he couldn't beat me down by himself on Monday night, so he had his buddies; Randy Orton and Kane. Two more Authority Goons, help him out. And sure they put me in the hospital…"

Try as hard as she could, she couldn't stop herself from cringing as images of Dean being carted away flashed through her mind.

"But if you thought for one second that your little three on one attack was gonna keep me from being here tonight, and more importantly keeping me from destroying you Sunday at Battlegrounds, well then genius, you're not as smart as you think you are. So, I'll ask you this one more time, is that all you got?" He paused for the crowd's reaction. "Is that all the Authority's got? That's not a rhetorical question, I plan to find out. So, let's not wait until Sunday."

Angel's head perked up at Dean's challenge. She had known that this was coming, but part of her hoped that Dean would be sensible just this once and take an easy day, but of course not.

"GET OUT HERE AND LET'S DO THIS RIGHT NOW!" He yelled into the mic making the crowd go crazy again.

Looking around, Angel tried to be one step ahead of Seth, who she knew wasn't going to take Dean's call out sitting down. Especially not with Dean acting as if Monday wasn't a big deal.

"Come on Seth."

"Ambrose, Ambrose, Ambrose." Seth chuckled as his face appeared on the titantron. She should have known that he wasn't going to come out where Dean could get his hands on him. "You just don't get it, do ya. You're so talented but you just can't seem to figure it out. Without me, you are nothing. Without me you're just some babbling, out of control lunatic, destined for an insane asylum. And I'll give you this, you got guts. But clearly, after Monday. You got more guts than brains. I mean think about it, the first time ever, Shield vs Shield, Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins. That is a huge box office draw and there is nothing, nothing in this world I would love more than to come down to that ring and curb stomp your face into the mat, again."

"Then why don't you come out here and put your money where your mouth is, huh Seth?" Angel said without thinking. "Stop hiding behind the screen. Come out here, without your goons and we'll see if you everything you say is true. We'll see if Dean is just some babbling, out of control lunatic, or if you're just lying to yourself to feed your own ego."

"Unfortunately, I can't do that. I tweaked my knee on Monday, and I'm not medically cleared, so sorry guys. It just—It's not going to happen tonight."

Angel rolled her eyes as Seth kept rambling with his 'apologies'.

"Welp, it looks to me like you're scared. And you should be scared, I'd be scared too, but Seth it's time to face you're fears. MAKE DADDY PROUD, come out here and take your beating like a man."

"Oh real clever, real clever. You keep going back to the daddy line. You think you're so tough, Ambrose. All these tough words for such a tough guy. Like you always got something to prove. But I know that you're just trying to show off to Angel, and it's pathetic."

"You know what's pathetic, Seth?" Angel asked stepping up. "The fact that on Monday Dean was beaten down by three grown men and put in the hospital, and yet here he is, ready to go. While you're sitting backstage because you 'tweaked' your knee in a three on two handicap match. Awe, poor Sethie. SUCK IT UP AND GET DOWN HERE!"

"Open your ears, Angel. I said I wasn't medically cleared. So, it doesn't matter if I wanted to come down there or not, I can't." He shrugged. "But you know what, I just talked to Triple H and he wanted me to let you know that tonight you've got a match. But not against me, against him." The camera panned over to see Kane standing there.

Looking back to check Dean's reaction, she jumped when the sounds of an explosion rang out through the arena and fire came bursting out from the four ring posts. Eyes widened, she grabbed onto Dean and looked around. It was common knowledge that Kane's little trick was only lighting and pyro that looked a little silly in the HD world that they were in now but standing in the middle of the ring and feeling the heat of the flames on her skin was surreal.

"You alright?" Dean asked as he tossed the mic to the floor.

She nodded, doing the same. "Just startled me."

"Well, that is the whole point." He said wrapping his arms around her shoulders.

"I know, still freaky though."

The titantron flashed black as the red lights died down.

"It might not be the match that you wanted tonight but hey, you got Kane."

Nodding, Dean made his way towards the ropes. Instead of going through them, he dropped down and rolled out. "I tweaked my knee." Dean mocked Seth as he rolled his eyes. "I've been working with a bummed shoulder for like two months now and he's crying over a little 'tweaked' knee."

"Like I said it's pathetic." She said rolling out onto the apron.

"It's more than pathetic." He helped her down. "It's deplorable. He's a fucking scum bag of a man." They made their way up the ramp.

With each passing step, she could feel the anger rolling off of him. Which pulled up until they got threw the gorilla where he took it out on a metal folding chair. He smacked at it, knocking it straight. Kicking at it, he threw his arms out, almost hitting two crew members who were walking pass.

"Sorry," She apologized for him as she pulled on his arm. She hoped that she could get him out of the main area, so that he could work of his frustrations without bothering anyone.

"SETH I KNOW YOU HERE!" Dean screamed. "COME OUT AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!"

"Come on Dean." She said in a calm voice. "Why don't we get you back to our corner, and I'll get you a water, maybe a snack if you want, and we'll relax until your match."

"What I want is TO PUNCH SETH IN THE FACE!"

"I know, I know. And you'll be able to soon."

After a few more outburst, she finally got Dean to settle down in a chair off to the side, near they're things. "Alright let me go get you a water. I'll be right back." She said as she walked away to get him water. She hoped that he would stay put and not going to and try to find Seth.

She wondered if Seth knew how much worse he was making things to himself by doing things like this. Every time he acted high and mighty, every time he dodged a match with him, he just pissed Dean off anymore.

She walked past a more open area where a couple of screens were for those backstage to sit and watch the show, when a loud mix of laughter stopped her. She turned to see Eva, Cameron, Foxy and a very uncomfortable looking Natalya sitting together.

"Did you see that?" Eva asked.

"Yeah, what a loon." Foxy nodded. "Swing his arm around and screaming like a which throwing a tantrum. So stupid."

Angel blinked as she realized that they were talking about Dean.

"Totally, I mean what is he even so pissed about?" Cameron asked as she clicked her tongue. "At least he's got a match."

"Right, and did you see the total disrespect he had for Angel? He acted like she wasn't even there. Talk about a loving boyfriend."

"Guys." Natty sighed. "Quit being so rude."

"We're not, we're being honest." Eva told her. "God, I don't know what it's going to take for Angel to see that Dean doesn't care for her. That he's just using her for some fun and then when he get's bored, he'll drop her."

Cameron smirked. "Oh really? I mean I could see Dean doing that, but Angel didn't strike me as the 'fun' type of girl." She said using air quotes. "She seems more like a prude to me."

Angel's whole being froze and her eyes locked onto the back of Cameron's head. No. There's no way that Liam was able to talk to her. She told herself. She knew that it was just a coincidence but Cameron or anyone from WWE for the matter using the word prude rubbed her the wrong way. It bounced around in her head like a bullet, setting off all sorts of alarms.

"Oh, hey Angel." She heard, making her look up. "We were just talking about you."

"I know." She said trying to push down the feelings that were trying to break out.

"I was telling everyone about how cute those pictures you posted from Japan are." She said as if she didn't know that Angel had been there the whole time, listening to them. "I wish you would have been able to get some pictures of you and Dean together, but hey sometimes that doesn't work out."

Angel nodded as she waited for the 'but' that was going to come.

"However, they were still really good." She kept going. "My favorite is the one of Dean walking down the path that's surrounded by all those trees."

"Mine too." She said crossing her arms.

As if she had just played into her hand, Eva smirked. "Oh well I have the perfect title for it. 'Dean's true feeling' I think that fits perfectly for a picture where he's walking away from you."

"Eva!" Natty gasped as the other two snickered.

"That's a good one." Angel said running her tongue along the inside of her mouth. "I'll keep that in mind. I don't normally have a habit of titling my photos, but thanks."

Eva shook her head as her smirked died. "I feel so sorry for you. You know if you need help, we're here for you." She said gesturing to the others. "Just say the word and we'll be there."

"What would I need help with?"

"You know what." Eva said. "We all see the signs. His anger, the way you apologize for his actions, the fear in your eyes when he gets all wound up…"

"Are you trying to say that Dean abuses me?" Angel mouth hit the floor. "Really!"

"No, of course not." Back tracked. "I was only hoping that you finally came to your senses and realized that he's not good, and that the only reason you were staying with him was because you were scared that he would snap."

"Fuck you."

"Hey." She put her hands up. "I'm just…"

"Trying to help?" She scoffed. "If you wanna help then how about you stop spreading rumors about my relationship. Because I'm getting FUCKING SICK of all this." She inhaled deeply trying to calm her answer but that was easier said than done. After all the shit with Liam this week, she wasn't really in the mood to deal with this. "Or how about you take the time that you invested into ruining my relationship and turn it to learning how to wrestle because I saw your match with AJ and let me tell you…practice would do wonders for you."

She knew she hit a nerve when Eva stood up.

"I…"

Angel stopped her. "I don't really care what you have to say, because I've heard it all before. 'You need to wake up and see that he doesn't love you,' 'he's using you,'." She scoffed. "You know what, I changed my mind, instead of focusing on your wrestling, why don't you use the time to get some new lines because girl all you are is a broken record." She said looking around. "Well as much as I would love to stand here and listen to you talk shit about my boyfriend, I've heard enough, and I have things to do. So, I'll catch you on the flip side." She waved before turning to Natty. "It was nice to see you Natty."

"Yeah, you too."

With a half-smile, she turned to walk away.

"Reby Hardy and Hellena Heavenly."

Even as she wanted to keep walking, Angel stopped and looked over her shoulder. "What?"

"Reby Hardy and Hellena Heavenly. Two of Dean's exs. You should look them up."

"Why would I do that?"

"They're his exs."

"So, it's not like there's a rule that says he's not allowed to have relationships before me."

"No but both those relationships have ended pretty badly, and I just thought you should know what you're in for."

"Thanks." She was all she could say through clenched jaw. Without another word, she walked away. Anger rushed through her. She couldn't understand why Eva was so interested in ruining her and Dean's relationship. What did she get out of it? The satisfaction knowing that she could twist people up and play them like puppets? Well if that was true than wouldn't she give up when she realized it wasn't working.

"Hey!" Someone called as she felt two hands grab her shoulders. "Gotta watch where you're going, darlin'. You almost ran me over."

Looking up, she saw Dean standing there looking down at her. "Sorry, I was lost in thought."

"I saw that." He said. "Everything ok?"
"Yeah, everything cool. Just a lot going on up there." She tapped her head.

"You're telling me." He sighed.

She shook her head, trying to knock out everything Eva said. "What about you? Everything ok? You're up quicker then I thought you would be."

"Yeah, I'm good." He dropped his arm and stepped to the side, out of the way. "Yeah, well as much as all this drives me up the wall, I know I can't really be too mad about tonight. My match with Seth is now official, and I get to punch Kane in the face."

"Just keep on your toes tonight." She told him. "Seth has a plan, and we both know it."

He nodded. "Seth always has a plan."

"And after Monday we can't risk another curb stomp." She said looking up at him out of the corner of her eye. "Right, Dean?"

"Yeah, right." He ran his fingers through his hair. "So, what was taking you so long."

"Huh?"

"When you left you said you were running down to get waters and that you'll be right back. So, what kept you?"

"Oh, I was chatting with some of the girls." She said not really lying

"Figures." He smirked. "You forget all about little old me once you're with the girls."

"Not true." She shook her head. How could I forget about you when all we talked about was you? "I could never forget about you." She grabbed his arm. "You're imprinted in my mind. I just wanted to give you some space and time to calm down."

"Uh huh?"

"I swear."

"Soon I won't be the only silver tongued one."

"Nah. You got me beat by a long shot."

"I've had twenty-eight years of practice."

She raised a brow. "That long? Wow, most babies don't start talking until around a year old, but you were started straight out of the womb."

"Ha ha, smart ass."

"I feel bad for your mother."

"You and everyone who I ever met."

Angel both really loved Smackdown and hated it, all for the same reason. Instead of being three hours long it was only two. Which meant that they didn't have to be at the arena that long just waiting but at the same time that meant the end of the show snuck up on her. Just like this time.

Practically running down the hall, they made it to the gorilla just in time for Dean's music to hit. Rushing out through the curtain, Dean handed off his jacket and they started down to the ring. Struggling slightly to put it on, Angel followed behind, while she listened to Lillan announcing them for the second time today.

Dean wasn't as gracious as he was last time. He didn't wait for her as he climbed right into the ring.

Unlike last time, Dean wasn't as gracious as he climbed right up onto the apron and into the ring without waiting for her.

She walked up the stairs and ducked through the ropes, which was easier said than done with Dean's oversized leather jacket that was hanging from her smaller frame. After standing up and trying to fix the thing, she walked over to Dean who was hyping himself up.

"This thing is heavy." She said as she stopped next to him.

His eyes flickered from the ramp. "You didn't have to put it on."

"No, but you handed it to me, and I didn't feel like 'carrying' it."

He shook his head, as the loud pyro went off on the stage and Kane's music started. "Time to get out of the ring, darlin'"

"You don't have to tell me twice." She said walking to the ropes, next to Lillan who had just finished up announcing the big red machine.

"Me either." Lillan said as they both hopped down from the ring. "Though you are braver than me. I would never hang at ringside for a match like this. Nope, I'm going to hang out in the timekeepers' area where I'm safe and sound."

"It's Dean and Kane."

"Where I'm mostly safe and sound." She corrected as she walked off.

Taking a deep breath, she looked up into the ring to see the ref 'holding' Dean back as Kane got into the ring. When he got into the middle of the ring, she braced herself for the blast of fire that was about to come from the ring posts. And even though she knew it was coming, she still jumped and gripped onto the apron.

Before the red lights had died down, Dean rushed Kane. Basically throwing himself at the man, hitting him over and over until Kane could do nothing else but try and escape the ring through the ropes. As Dean stood tall in the ring, the crowd went nuts. They all knew what was going through this man's mind, and their cheers grew louder as he took off to build momentum the Suicide Dive.

However, the crowd wasn't the only ones who knew what Dean was up to, right as he ducked to throw himself between the ropes, Kane got his arm up just in time to catch Dean in the face with his elbow.

Stunned, Dean crawled his way back into the corner, while Kane climbed back in. "Ring the bell!" The ref called, knowing that Kane wasn't going to stop and wait.

"Get out of the corner, Dean!" Angel yelled as Kane marched up to him.

Just when she thought Kane was going to reach him, Dean sprung to life and quickly switched their positions before he started to lay into the big man again. Hit after hit, Kane didn't seem to be able to keep up with Dean's flurry, that was until he went to the ropes for his standing arm drop. Kane dropped him in midair with another elbow to the face. This one rocked him so hard that he didn't move from where he landed on the mat.

"Get up!" She smacked the mat as Kane came around and delivered a big boot to his shoulder knocking him to his back. "Dean, get up!" With another stomp, Kane grabbed Dean by the left arm and dragged him towards the ropes across the way.

Shit. Angel sighed as she quickly walked around the ring to see Kane wrap his arm around the middle rope, so that it cut into his shoulder as he wretched it backwards. A cold chill went down her spine as Dean screamed out in pain. Kane only let up to break the ref's count before going back to do it again.

Trying to keep out of the way, she stepped up onto the steel steps and cringed as Dean's face was twisted in pain. When the ref pulled him away this time, Kane did step back and slid out of the ring, right next to her. Her eyes widened, but he didn't seem to even notice that she was there. Or more likely he didn't care that she was there. He turned towards Dean and hit him with a big right hang right to the side of the face. The hit was so loud that the crowd gasped as Dean fell backwards from the ropes."

"Move."

Looking away from Dean, Angel's eyes landed on Kane who was standing there looking down at her through his mask. Taking a moment to realize what he wanted, she hoped off the steps, allowing him to use them. Frozen, she watched him walk up the steps, duck through the ropes and walk right up to Dean who was still on the mat.

Holding her breath, she stood there and watched as Kane tore Dena's arm apart. Watched as he pulled him around the ring by it, used it to throw him back to the mat, stomped on it again. All of Kane's attacks were aimed at his weaker left arm.

As Kane yanked on said arm, Angel came to terms that it was never going to heal. Not without Dean taking an extended time off and he wasn't about to do that anytime soon. Not when Seth had the briefcase.

"COME ON, YOU BETTER SQUEEZE HARDER THAN THAT KANE!" Dean yelled out as Kane held him in a lock that wrapped his arm around his leg.

Thankfully he was able to fight up to his hands and knees, as the crowd stated to cheered for him. Though Kane still had a hold on his arm. "Come on Dean! Get out of there!" She yelled.

Grabbing Kane by the 'hair' on his mask, Dean used it to hold his head in place as he headbutted him over and over until he finally loosened his hold. Trying to make it to his feet, Dean was stopped with a slap to the face, and the hit sent him stumbling backwards. Dean ended up in the corner again, however this time he wasn't able to get out of the way as Kane came for him. Smashing him into the corner, Kane grabbed his Dean's arm and threw him across the ring and into the turnbuckles.

"GET OUT OF THE CORNER!"

As Kane came back around to try his corner smash, Irish Whip combo for a third time, Angel clench her fists, only to gasp and jump in cheer as Dean got his feet up just in time to catch the man in the face with both boots.

Using the momentum from the hit, he pushed himself up so that he was sitting on the top turnbuckle. He then reached forward and grabbed Kane's mask, using it to pull him in, he tucked his head under his arm and stood up. Pausing for just a second, he launched himself off the ropes and into a twisting Tornado DDT, planting Kane headfirst onto the mat.

"There you go!" She cheered as Dean got to his knees. "Keep on him, don't give him a moment to breath." She said as he worked out his left arm. She could tell by how slow and meticulous that he was moving it, that it must be really bothering him. Not surprising.

Rising to his feet, Dean blocked a swing from Kane before unleashing his own. Trying to cut him off, Kane hit him in the gut with a knee. However, it didn't keep Dean down as long as he would have hoped because as he took off towards the ropes, Dean back up in time to meet him there, stopping whatever attack was coming.

Hitting him a few more times, Dean hung Kane up on the ropes, leaving him there so that he could take off to build up momentum for a drop kick to the chest.

As Kane fell to one knee, Dean quickly slide out to apron before climbing up in the corner. And she couldn't help but note that he was still holding his arm very close to his body. Preparing for whatever idea was running through Dean's head, she brought her hands up to her face and watched as Kane rose to his feet. Her eyes bounced from the man standing on ropes, to the man in the ring as she waited.

With a growl, Dean leapt from the ropes, pushed his feet forward and hit Kane smack dab in the middle of the chest with a Missile Drop Kick, knocking him straight down onto the mat.

Though as the crowd went wild for the hit, Angel's attention locked onto her boyfriend. His mouth was open wide as he rolled around on his back, holding his left arm. Letting out a frustration yell of pain, he rolled over onto his knees. Looking as if he was trying to hype himself up by smacking himself on the face as he turned towards Kane. He went to grab him, but Kane just pushed him away.

Catching himself on the ropes, Dean came back trying to hit his lariat, but Kane caught him with a hand around the throat. Raising him up for the chokeslam, Dean somehow got out of it, landing on his feet and stumbling over the ropes. In a move of quick thinking, Dean grabbed the top rope and dropped down, sending Kane falling over the top and down to the floor.

Angel clapped for Dean as he let out a battle cry before racing across the ring. "Get him!" She called just as he dove through the ropes landing right on Kane. Both men went crashing to the floor.

Scooting around the camera crew and Kane, she made her way over to Dean who was laying on his back with his left arm nuzzled into his side. Kneeling down, she reached out to squeeze his right arm when he lifted it into the air and waved her off. "I'm good." He said between breaths. "Get back."

Nodding, she stood up. "Remember about Sunday." She told him even as she clapped her hands and stepped back. When her back touched the barricade, she felt the floor of pats to her back, but she paid them no attention as Dean dragged Kane towards the ring.

"Get him back in the ring!" The ref called as Dean smashed Kane's face off the apron.

Kane seemed to come alive and suddenly kneed Dean in the gut. When Kane adjusted his hold on Dean, Angel's eyes went wide. "No! No, no, no, no." She begged as she realized what he was setting up, and she didn't like it one bit. "Kane, please don't."

Her words were in vain as the demon sent Dean careening into the steel steps so hard, knocking them about a foot away from the ring. Gasping along with the crowd, she stepped forward, only to be cut off by Kane who marched over and knocked the top step off the bottom one.

"Oh, this is going to suck." She heard a fan call as Kane grabbed Dean by the hair and forced him over to the single step. He smashed his head against the metal, making her flinch and look away. She couldn't watch what was about to happen.

Though when the fans started to cheer, she couldn't stop herself from glancing back to see Dean fighting out of what looked like was going to be a Tombstone Piledriver. "Come on, get out of there." Dean dropped down over Kane's back and quickly pushed the man forward, right into the steel post.

When both men collapsed at her feet, she went for Dean, who was crawling his way towards Kane.

"Inside, Six!" The ref called.

"You got four more counts to get in that ring, or it's a double count out."

Nodding slowly, Dean rose to his feet and used his good arm to push her back while he lined himself up with Kane. Stepping out of the way, so the Dean could focus on the match, when she felt something push past her. And then suddenly Dean was on the floor with Seth standing over him with that stupid briefcase in his hands.

"Seth, you mother…" she gritted her teeth as the bell ran out to call the DQ. "Tweaked your knee, huh?" She called as he marched over to get between Seth and Dean, only for Kane to once again get in her way. Looking up at the big man in front of her, Angel wondered how far he was really willing to go. If she pushed past him, would he just grab her arm to hold her back or would he stop her by putting her out of action. She couldn't read him, but who could with that mask on.

From behind Kane, she could hear as Seth hit Dean repeatedly, but all she could see was his leg twitching with each hit. Giving one more glance up at Kane, she decided that she would take her chances and moved to step around him, which he surprisingly let her do. Baffled that he let her around without a fight, she paused and just started as Seth threw Dean into the ring.

Shaking her, she rushed pasted both men who stood on the sidelines and slide into the ring and over to Dean.

Before she could say anything to him, Dean shook his head. "Get out…get out of the…. fuck." He gripped his arm. "Fucking hell, Angel get out of the ring!" He yelled at her.

The sounds of metal broke whatever retaliation she had for him, and she looked up to see both Kane and Seth pushing the bottom steel step into the ring. "Oh no." She groaned.

Beside her, Dean rolled over onto his stomach and looked up at what was going on. "Shit." He said as he braced himself so that he could get to his feet.

"Dean, don't!" She called as he launched himself at Seth with wild swings. However, his attack was quickly broken up by Kane. Dean tried to come back, Kane grabbed him by the throat.

"Stop!" Angel cried out as she stood up and moved to step up onto the steel steps. She hoped that Kane wouldn't just plant Dean on top of her. "Let him go."

Once again surprising her, Kane didn't throw Dean at her, he twisted his body and chokeslammed down onto the mat in front of the steps. Without a second thought, she hopped off the step and went over to Dean who was reeling from the hit.

As she looked over him, a shadow loomed over her. She turned around to see standing there. "Is that all you got?" Seth asked as he reached down and slapped Dean in the face,

right where his bandages were. "Huh?" He slapped him again and again.

"Stop it." She said pushing his hands away. "Stop."

Seth rolled his eyes at her but did step back. "Hey, Kane." He said patting the step. "Put him up here."

Before she knew it two hands came down and grabbed Dean by the shirt. "Hey! Stop! Let him go!" She tried to fight Dean away from him, though she would have a better time trying to wrestle a slab of meat from a lion at this point. Kane set Dean up on the steps just as Seth wanted.

Spinning around on her knees, she saw Seth reach down and grabbed Dean's head forcing him to look up at him. When then let go and moved to bounce off the ropes, Angel did the only think that she could think of to stop the curb stomp that she knew was coming, and she threw herself over top of Dean, covering his head with her body.

Turning her head the best she could, she looked up at Seth who stopped in mid-stride to look at her. "KANE!" Was all he said, and Angel felt herself being tugged backwards.

Landing on her back, she fought against the leather jacket and scrambled to her feet and rand over to plow into Seth who was once again stepping up for the curb stomp. Tangling around each other, they both fell into the corner of the ring.

Seth snarled in frustration. "You are becoming a nuisance." He said, pushing her off of him. "A real pain in my ass." His eyes flickered upwards and he smirked.

Her heart dropped when she felt a large presence right behind her, right up against her back. Turning around, she looked up to see Kane standing there adjusting his glove. Putting her hands up, she stepped backwards, and panicked when he moved with her until her back his against the turnbuckles.

Everything seemed to fade away as her eyes locked onto the hand that was coming towards her, aimed right at her throat. "I um…I." She didn't know what to say, what to do.

"KANE, that's enough!" Everything came to a halt as Hunter's voice rang over the speakers. "That's enough. Why don't you and Seth come backstage. We would want anything to happen before Sunday, now would we." He said in an even but threating tone.

Kane body sagged as he turned around and looked towards the stage where Hunter's image was up on the titantron.

"That's right." Hunter said with a smile. "And Seth, didn't you want to save some for Battlegrounds?"

"Right." Seth smirked. "Battlegrounds." His ran over to her before stepping over Dean's body which was still draped over the steps. "Your girl bought you two days. I'll see you on Sunday."

As soon as both men were out of the ring, Angel's body lost all strength and she fell to her knees. Chills ran down her spine and dizziness washed over her as she felt the adrenaline rush from her.

"Oh and Angel." Hunter's voice came again, making her look up at the titantron. "Sorry about that." Was all he said before the screen went back to showing what the cameras were showing, which was a shot of Dean laying there from over her shoulder.

Snapping back to reality, Angel made her way over to Dean, who was thankfully already starting to stir. "Easy there." She said as she tired to help him off the steel steps. "Let's get you backstage."

BrookeWorm3: He did nearly rip Liam's head off and there was a small part of me what wanted to let him but we can't have our boy end up in jail. Maybe we'll see more of Liam and he'll get what's coming to him.

Labinnacslove: Trust me, I have the prefect place for where Dean says it. I know it's taking longer then what you wanted but I think it'll make people cry because it made me cry just thinking about it.

Katara Melody Cullen: Liam is a douchebag, and I really wanted Dean to punch him but he would end up getting in a lot of trouble for that and we can't have our boy going to jail. Angel punching him out be great. Maybe we'll see him again.

Sonia: Hey! Everyone thought he was going to say it but not yet. It's coming up. Well sorta. I'm glad you liked the chapter!

Canadice: I'm so glad that you liked it! I did a little dance when I got your review. Don't worry their will be more. The world is going to open up for them here and we'll see more outside of work, but inside work is just so important to the story so it's hard.
