Welcome to chapter Hundred and Twelve! This one is long! That's what she said.

Friday: July 18th, 2014, Saturday: July 19th, 2014, Battlegrounds: July 20, 2014

Sighing, Angel leant back into the shower, letting the warm water rush down her achy body. The warmth was so soothing to both her muscles and her mind. After her and Dean got back to the hotel, there was still this strange awkwardness between them. And she knew it wasn't about the sex. Both of them had things they wanted to say about what happened at the show and didn't know how to bring it up after the sensational moment.

But it needed done, and soon.

As if on cue the bathroom door opened, and she heard Dean's heavy footsteps on the other side of the shower's curtain. Pausing, she listened to him, trying to figure out whether he was just going to the bathroom or if he wanted something else.

"Angel." His voice was low and serious.

I guess we're doing this now. "Yeah?"

"So…Um…I don't…we need to talk."

"I know." She said as she looked up at the ceiling.

"What were you thinking?" He asked not even trying to lead into the conversation.

"Well I was thinking that if I let you take that curb stomp that you would end up back in the hospital…"

"So you put yourself in harm's way? And not just the 'you really trusting that the asshole who's face you're in not to hit you' way. No, no, you could have gotten seriously hurt. A curb stomp isn't a move that you just bounce back from."

"I know." She said through clenched teeth. Why did anyone, let alone Dean think they needed to remind her of that. She saw firsthand what it did to someone.

"And on top of that, Kane almost choke slammed you, you know I couldn't have stopped that right? And Roman wasn't here tonight he couldn't have helped you either." His words Started to get harder. "You're so worried about me being 'out of commission' what about you? You haven't been trained to take a bump like that, nor are you as resilient as I am."

"I know!" She snapped. "I know everything that you are saying. I truly do, but what the hell do you want me to do? We keep having this conversation, and I keep telling you that I can't just sit there and watch you get hurt. Especially when I can do something. And tonight, for once, I could, so I did."

"You know I'm not trying to piss you off, right? I just don't want you to get hurt because of me."

Turning off the water, she pulled the curtain open so that she could look Dean in the eye. "Again I ask, what do you want me to do? Do you want me to stand on the side lines with my hands behind my back and watch as you get overwhelmed and beaten down? Do you want me to smile as you get carted away in a fucking ambulance? Tell me what you want me to do."

She saw the emotions flicker through his eyes. "I don't know…"

"Everyone is telling me that what I do is stupid and that I'm the one in the wrong for trying to help."

"That…"

"Let me finish." She cut him off. "But I have one question for everyone who tell me that, could you do it?"

"What?"

"If everything was flipped and I was the one being beaten up and you were the on the side lines, could you just stand there and watch? Could you watch as Seth curb stomped me into those steps? Could you?"

His jaw ticked. "No." He said sharply. "I couldn't, but I'm capable of helping you."

A ping of pan stabbed at her. "And I'm not."

"No…" He said before running his hand through his hair. She must not have been able to hide how much that hurt her because he quickly said. "Not that way."

"Ok." She said grabbing one of the towels and stepping out of the shower.

"Shit." She heard him curse under his breath. "Angel…"

"It's fine." She told him wanting the conversation to be over. She knew that they had to talk about what had happened, but she didn't realize how pissed off it was going to make her. She thought she would be the one apologizing and feeling bad for making him upset but hearing him tell her that she wasn't capable of helping him really hit home.

"It's not." He said grabbing her arm, forcing her to spin around and look at him. "I'm not trying to start a fight. I just… I'm just…" His head dropped down. "Do you know how torn-up I would be if you got hurt like that?" He looked up through his lashes and she saw the pain in his eyes. "I would break. I really would."

"You don't think I wouldn't…didn't."

"Angel, there is very little in this world that keeps me going, right now it just you and wrestling. I can't lose you."

Reaching up, she touched his scruffy face. "And you won't. But Dean I can't just stand back that watch. The only way to stop me from doing exactly what I did today again, is to fire me as your manager. Is that what you want?"

There was a pause, one longer then she would have liked but he did say. "No. That's not what I want. I need you out there we me. I need you to anchor me."

"Then this is going to keep happening. You can't get both."

He nodded and she saw as the corner of his lips curled up. "You're a hardhead lunatic."

"I've learned from the best."

"That you did." He pulled her into a hug. "God, how did I get so lucky."

"You were in the right place at the right time." She giggled as he tightened his hold.

"Or maybe you were in the wrong place at the wrong time."

"I mean I was punched and thrown into a table so maybe that's right."

"I still need to kick Randy's ass for that."

"I think you have."

"Not good enough."

"Why don't you focus on Seth for right now. Don't wanna be spreading that attention span to thin right?"

"True. But Randy isn't getting out it."

They stood there until the cold water dripping down her back from her hair started to get too annoying. "Dean."

"What."

"Can I get dressed?"

"Hmmm…."

"Please, I'm cold."

"I could warm you up?"

"Dean, I'm cold, emotionally drained and tired."

"Fine." He stepped backwards. "I guess we'll just go to sleep."

"You act as if we didn't just have sex like an hour ago." She laughed as she quickly put her hair up in the towel wrap thing. "In case you forgotten, just look at my neck."

"I am." He smirked.

"You know these won't go away before Sunday."

"Oh, I know."

She rolled his eyes. "I'm going to have to cover them up."

"Nah, I think you should go out like that."

He looked at him. "You think I should go out like," she gestured to the hickeys. "On live pg show?"

"Yep. I don't see what's so wrong with it."

"Well, it's a good thing that I do."

As she got dressed for bed, he stepped up behind her and whistled. "So how are you cover these up? They're pretty dark."

"I'm going to ask both Galina and the make-up crew at work to do it for me, since I know nothing about make-up.

"Smart."

As they walked through the Tampa Bay airport, Angel found herself wishing she knew more about make-up then she did, because even though she was ninety-nine percent sure they weren't looking at her, she felt like everyone was staring at the dark bruises on her neck. The feeling reminded her a lot of how she felt when she was roughed up by Randy. Only this time, no one had to guess what had happened to her. Everyone knew that someone gave her a good tending to, and by 'someone' she meant a certain six-foot four man who was walking with a swagger next to her.

With all the people she thought was looking at her, there was one she knew did see her neck and that was the flight attendant. In the most awkward ten seconds of her live, the attendant stared at her neck before asking if she wanted a drink. The little smile that she had on when she walked away made Angel want to die.

"Ro, don't worry, Angel rented us a car. Since we're going to be spending like a week in Florida, we're going to need one." Dean said over the phone as they walked towards baggage claim. "You really want to use your family cars to lug us around everywhere, is Galina going to be ok with that? I don't think so. Hey, you're lucky we didn't book a hotel room. I know. We'll see you in a bit. Bye." Hung up and exhaled.

"That sounded fun." She chuckled.

"Roman was worried about not being here to pick us up with our flight landed and then got even more upset when I told him we rented a car for the week. He didn't want us to have to spend the extra money, since we're in his hometown. Then when I brought up the hotel room, he freaked up, 'My friends are not staying at some hotel, when they can come to my house and relax and not have to worry about anything'." Dean said mimicking Roman's voice.

"He's like a mother hen."

"Worse, he's a father rooster."

"They're not very nurturing."

"No but they are protective of their flock as shit." She raised a brow at him. "You learn things from discovery channel at like three in the morning after falling asleep on a couch."

"I'm going to tell Roman you compared him to a roster."

"I'm mean you see it right? Roosters puff out their chest, make loud bellowing noises, and they will fucking take you to the ground if they have to, but they also make sure their flock is fed and taken care of."

"As right as you are, I'm still telling them."

"Good, I want you too."

"Rooster Roman Reigns."

"Fuck it even full alteration."

Angel shook her head.

After grabbing their bags, they headed to pick up their rental car, before heading out for Chateau de Reigns. Which was easier said than done since Dean put the wrong address in the GPS.

"How the hell did you miss spell the street name?" She asked as she quickly tried to retype the address in her phone.

"I got large thumbs." He said wigging them on the steering wheel.

Rolling her eyes, she set the route. "Well at least were only about five minutes out."

"We'll just tell them that it was due to traffic."

"You really think I'm letting you get out of this one?" She asked.

"I told you, I have large thumbs. It's not as if I forgot my best friends address."

"Uh huh."

"Uh huh?" he mimicked. "I'll remember this."

Arriving at the house, they parked in the driveway and quickly got their things from the trunk. "Uncle Dean!" JoJo yelled as she came running towards them with her arms open wide. The six-year-old leaped at Dean as if she knew he would catch her, which he did, dropping his bags to do so.

"Hey there JoJo." He laughed as he spun her around. "Aren't you supposed to be in school?"

"No silly, it's summer."

"Is it!" he gasped. "That's why it's so hot."

JoJo laughed as she hugged him.

"That's and the fact that you're wearing jeans in July." Roman piped up.

"Ro, you've seen my closest, you of all people should know that I wear jeans all year around."

"Yes, but I also know that you do own shorts."

"Yeah, but those are for workouts and hikes only."

While the two men bickered about Dean's leg garments, Angel made her way over to Galina who was shaking her head at them.

"So, before you change your mind, I wanna thank you for allowing us to stay in your home."

"This is nothing." Galina laughed. "My house used to be home to more than just Dean. Back when they were in FCW and everyone lived in Florida, it was like a strange frat party every week here."

"Oh?"

"Didn't Dean tell you about his time in FCW?"

"Kinda. Mostly about Shield stuff."

"Well, I could tell you all sort of stories."

"I would love to hear them?"

"Then let's get you inside and I'll pour some coffee or wine and we'll chat."

Even as excitement for what she was about to learn filled her, she shifted and could feel her laptop bag pull on her neck, reminding her of the hickeys. "Um, before we do that, could you help me with something." She asked biting her lip.

"Sure, what's up."

Sighing, she moved the strap. "Do you have anything that could cover these?"

Galina whistled as she leant in. "I'm not sure if I have anything in your skin tone, but the lady who does my makeup for some of my shoots left some stuff here and I know that some of it is way too light for me, so we can at try those."

"Can we? I feel like a human leopard." She said quickly covering her neck once more as JoJo came over to them.

"Are you talking about makeup? Are you going to do makeup?" She asked. "Can I join?"

"Why don't you finished with that suncatcher that you were making before Angel and Dean came, and then you can come and join us."

JoJo gave a pout but nodded her head. "Ok Mommy."

"What, don't you want to finish it? You said it was a gift for Grandma, right?" Galina asked.

"Yeah, I do, but I want to do makeup with you."

"And you can, just finish your suncatcher first." She told her. "That way it can dry in time for when Grandma comes over. Ok?"

"Ok mommy."

They walked into the house and got their things settled into the guest room.

"So, you're going to leave us to our own devices?" Dean said.

"If my six year old can stay out of trouble for twenty minutes so can you."

"That's giving me a lot of credit."

"I believe in you."

"Again, a lot of credit."

The woman gave him a disapproving look. "Dean behave."

"Yes, mom."

Chuckling, Angel followed Galina into a room that was basically just a huge closet with a large vanity sitting on one side. "Alrighty, let's see that neck of yours." Galina said as she pulled out a huge case of makeup.

"I thought you said that your makeup lady left 'some' stuff. Not all of her things."

"This doesn't even cover half of what she normally brings."

"Damn,"

She laughed and put the thing on the vanity's tabletop before opening it and peering inside. "If we can't find anything here to help you, then your shit out of luck." She poured our a bunch of lighter skin tone on the table.

Eyeing all of it up, Angel walked up towards the vanity and sat in the small chair in front of it. She pulled her hair back off to the one side and cocked her head to the side, allowing Galina more access for comparing and making her skin tone. "So, tell me about these frat parties that you used to have all the time,"

Galina chuckled. "Ok, so at the time, we lived in a smaller place, that was always packed full with at least six or seven big sweaty wrestlers. They would drink, watch TV, talk about work, and sometimes even practice in the house. Well, they would until I yelled at them and tell them to take the rough housing outside."

"That sounds like fun."

"And very messy. The couch in the den still has a stain on it from when Cesaro spilt salsa on it."

Cesaro. Angel's mind took a spin for a moment when she tried to think of Cesaro hanging out with Dean and Roman. He didn't seem to like them, just like most of the roster.

"Oh, and Bo Dallas broke a vase that we had in our living room."

"Wait Bo Dallas?" She asked.

"Is that not his name?"

"It is. I'm just shocked that he was someone that the boys would hang out with."

Nodding, Galina started to dab her with something else, this one was cold. "They used to hand out with a bunch of different guys that probably would shock a lot of people now."

"I think I think that anyone you would say would shock me."

"Yeah now, but back then they used to hangout with a bunch of different guys. Back then the weirdest person the hung out with was Seth. In fact, I was shocked when he started to come around, since all I ever heard about him was complaints about how he was too cocky, especially from Dean."

"Well that fits." Angel told her. "Dean told me that they didn't like each other before the Shield."

"So imagine my surprise when suddenly it was just Roman, Dean, and She sitting in the living room together."

"At least that meant it wasn't as chaotic as before."

"I almost preferred when it was chaotic." She sighed. "I never told Roman, but there are somedays that I wish that the Shield never happened." She put the sponge down and leant against the vanity. "Not that I'm not proud or happy for them but look at what happened. They moved up to the main roster with targets on their backs and make it worse by making enemies of everyone. Then Seth betrays them and leaves them broken and hurt with no one to turn to. It was like it was his plan the whole time."

"They do still have a couple of allies on the rooster." Angel said. "Daniel Bryan still at least respects them. However, I'm not sure if that's because I'm friends with his wife or something else but hey it's better than nothing."

Galina gave a small smile, but it quickly faded. "I still worry about them. Ever since the split, Roman has been so focused on winning the championship that it's become an obsession." She reached into the makeup case and fiddled around with the stuff inside. "I know it's because he's trying to prove to himself that he's move than what Seth's saying he is. But every time I try to bring it up to him, he says that I'm worrying too much about it, but I've never seen him like this. He's wound up tight, always training, sometimes he spends all night in the gym. And then there's Dean. Not that I need to tell you too much about him, but he did end up in the hospital earlier this week."

Angel's gut twisted at Galina's words. She knew that she wasn't blaming her for what happened, but it made her feel like she needed to say sorry all the same.

"it's just so hard to stand back and watch them spiral downwards."

"But they're not." She shook her head. "I get where you're coming from but I think you're seeing it wrong." She said quickly when Galina gave her a look. "It's easy to do, especially with what's happening, but please believe me when I say that they aren't spiraling. In fact it's the opposite, they're healing."

"Healing?" Galina scoffed. "How can you call the destructive paths that they're going down, 'healing'?"

"It may seem destructive but really they're doing what they need to get over all the pain and answer." She said hoping that she was making any sense. "You said that Roman seems obsessed with the championship right now, and you're right. But I think that's just what he needs right now. He needs to be completely focused on something that's not Seth or what he's done, because if he wasn't then Seth would end up filling that spot."

"I would be more understanding of it, but he's never dealt with any of it, other then what you've seen at work. I've never been able to get him to sit down and talk about what happened and that scares me. I'm worried that he's going to explode one say due to bottling everything up."

"And he might. I can't tell you that he won't, but I can tell you that I can understand why he's never talked about it. It's hard to talk about, in fact none of us really talk about it, at all. Not even Dean and I. Because it's hard to look back, really hard." She clenched her hands on her lap, trying not to let those emotions flood forward.

"That's right, I forgot, Roman and Dean aren't the only ones hurting, are they?" Galina sighed with a softness that made Angel look to the floor. "Everyone out there is talking about what Seth did to the two of them, forgetting that you were in the ring that night with them. Seth deceived you too."

It was like a flood gate of emotions opened, almost as if Angel herself had forgotten that he had been there that night, even though she was well aware that she was. She cringed as that sickening sound of the metal chair hitting its mark echoed into her head. Absent-mindedly, she ran her hand over her stomach as if she expected the bruise to still be there.

She felt a soft pat on her arm. "If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here."

"Thanks." Angel gave the woman a small smile before saying. "But to paraphrase what I was trying to say, I understand why you're worried about them, but they're doing just fine." She chuckled. "Well as fine as they could be. We're all just doing what we have to, to be able to heal."

Galina nodded with a deep breath. "Then I'll jut have to be supportive then."

"I'm sure they'll appreciate that."

"Why do they have to have such destructive coping mechanisms?"

"If I knew I would tell you."

Suddenly the door to the oversized closet opened and little footsteps came running up towards them. "Mommy, I'm finished."

The atmosphere changed in the room almost instantly as Galina stood up tall and looked at her daughter with a smile. "Did you?"

"Yep, and Daddy sat it on the counter to dry." She said practically jumping up and down. "So can I play makeup now?"

"Of course, I told you, you could."

"Yay!" She spun around to look at Angel with a huge smile. "Can I do your makeup Aunt Angel?"

"Um." She thought about what it meant to have a six-year told due your make up, but how could say no to that cute face. "Sure."

"Alright!"

D.D.D.

"The girls have been 'playing makeup' for a while now." Dean said as he leant back on the couch, beer in hand.

"Well maybe if you could control yourself, and not turn your girlfriend into a giraffe, maybe they would be done by now."

Smirking to himself, Dean clicked his tongue. "Like you've never done it."

"Not above the collar."

Dean shrugged. "Wasn't really thinking about it at the time." A lie. He knew what he was doing.

"I'm surprised that you had enough energy to do that after what happened. I mean damn."

"When are you going to learn, I'm an energizer bunny. I just keep going and going and going and going."

"I got it man." Roman shook his head. "If you're really worried about them, then go check on them, but I warn you, you might get dragged in."

Thinking about it for a second, Dean sat up, placed his beer on the table, and rose to his feet. "If I come back out with lipstick and blush, you're just going to have to tell me what a pretty girl I make."

"Yeah right."

Batting his lashes at Roman, he walked off. Following the sounds of giggling, he found the three girls in Galina's huge closet that he helped put together. "Ladies." He knocked on the door three stopped laughing and turned around to him, and his eyes widened. Both Galina and Angel were covered from chin to forehead in different colors, and he didn't know which one looked more ridiculous.

Angel had blue lipstick on, purple blush on her cheeks, as well as something with an orange tint on her nose, while her eyelids were just a clash of a bunch of different colors, he saw red, pink, green and some he thought brown but that could have just been all of the colors mixed together. Galina on the other hand had a normal shade of lipstick, some sort of brownish red color, but the lack of color on her lips was made up tenfold on her cheeks. JoJo must have mixed up the blush colors with the eyeshadow, or at least that was his running theory, since he didn't think that green was a normal blush color. She on the other hand didn't have any special color on her nose like Angel did, but she did have the same rainbow of color on her eyes.

"Looking good." He said trying to keep the straightest face that he could.

"Uncle Dean!" JoJo stood from the chair and spun around like she was in a dress or something. "Do you like my makeup? Mommy did it."

Now that he had gotten to process the unicorn vomit of the two adults, he finally looked at JoJo whose makeup looked very subtle with the only bit of color being the purple eyeshadow. "Yeah I do. Looks really nice."

"Thank you." She said with a proud smile as if she was the one who did it. "I'm going to go show Daddy." The little thing zoomed out of the room.

Shaking his head, he turned his attention towards the two women and smirked. "So how long do you have to wear that? Like what is the length of time that won't hurt JoJo's feelings?"

"About the length of a Disney movie." Galina said as she started to clean up.

Walking casually over to them, Dean looked over Angel and couldn't help but chuckle. "You got something on your face. Right about…there." He said gesturing to all of his.

"Oh, do I?" She said patting at the one clean spot on her face. "Did I get it."

"Sure did."

"That for that. It would have been so embarrassing to go out there with someone on my face." She threw her arms around his neck and leaned up to kiss him.
"Whoa now?"

"What, you don't want a kiss? You've never turned away a kiss before."

"Well, you've never had blue shit all over your lips."

"You said you liked it."

"I did, but that doesn't mean I want it all over my face."

"Oh come on, I think you would look good in blue. It'll match your eyes." She said trying again.

He quickly pulled back. "I'm much more of a neutral makeup guy, don't they ah call that nude or something."

"They do." Galina said as she caught him off guard and suddenly planted a kiss on his cheek. As she pulled away, he could feel the sticky residue that was left behind. "I don't know." She chuckled as she looked at where she kissed. "I think Angel is right, blue might look better on you."

"See." Angel said sliding up to his left side.

Glancing at her, he was about to step back again but the cute look on her multicolored face stopped him. Closing his eyes, he let her reach up and kiss him on his cheek. "Happy now?" He asked when he opened his eyes and saw out of the very edge of his vision a blue mark.

"Yep."

"Good." He pursed his lips as he turned to walk out of the room, leaving behind two giggling females.

When he made his way back into the living room, he saw JoJo sitting on her Roman's lap as they watched what was on the TV. When Roman noticed him there, he chuckled and shook his head. "Told you, you would get sucked in."

JoJo laughed. "Uncle Dean you have kissy marks."

"I'm collecting them." He told her as he pointed on his cheek by where Galina kissed him.

Knowing what he meant, she jumped out of her seat and made her way over to him, he turned his head and waited for her to pick the perfect place to kiss him.

"You look so silly." She said as she giggled and stepped back.

"I do? But I got three pretty girls kissy marks."

"Uncle Dean." JoJo's face turned in a way he wasn't expecting, as she frowned.

"What?"

"You're not allowed to say other girls are pretty, Aunt Angel will get sad."

"No she won't."

"Yes she will." She crossed her arms. "Tommy called Katie pretty and Anna got sad."

Confused, he looked up at Roman, who shrugged. Great I'm alone on this one. "Why did Anna get sad?"

"Because she likes Tommy."

"Ok?"

"Well, Aunt Angel likes you, so she'll get sad just like Anna did."

Not knowing how to get out of this one, Dean leaned towards the hallway and called for Angel. After a couple of seconds, she and Galina appeared in the hallway. "Hey." He said gesturing for her to come closer. "I got a question for you."

"Ok." She walked up to the arm of the couch. "Shoot."

"Would you get sad if I said that Galina and JoJo are pretty?"

She drew her brows together but shook her head. "No."

"See?" He said looking back at JoJo.

"Why would I get sad? They are pretty."

"Because Anna got sad because Tommy said that Kaite is pretty."

"What?" She asked turning to him just like he did to Roman.

Galina sighed. "They're her friends at school."

"Ah."

"Anna cried when she found out and I don't want you to cry too."

"I won't." Angel told her. "But I understand why she would get sad. It hurts when the person you like things someone else is pretty, but it's different."

"How?"

"Uh."

Galina stepped up and patted Angel on the back, telling her that she was tagging into the conversation. "Well, Anna was sad because she wanted Tommy to think she's pretty like he did Katie, right?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, Dean does think that Angel is pretty, don't you."

"Uh, yeah." He said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"See, and Angel knows that." Galina smiled at her daughter. "And she also knows that he's not calling anyone else pretty in the same way that he calls her pretty."

"What do you mean? How do you call someone pretty in different ways?"

"That one is a little harder to explain." She pursed her lips. "Do you think Anna's pretty?"

"Yeah!" JoJo smiled. "Especially in her new dress. It was purple."

"Ok, do you think that you think that I'm pretty."

"I do."

"Do you think we're the same kind of pretty?" JoJo stared at her mom for a moment and shook her head. "See."

"I still don't get it."

Everyone chuckled.

"And you don't have to right now baby, just know that Angel won't get upset if Uncle Dean calls you pretty."

"Ok." The girl walked off.

Wow. Dean sighed into himself as he watched JoJo play happily with a toy on the table, as if this conversation never happened. He was glad that Galina had stepped in because he had no idea how she defused this. In fact, he didn't know half of what was said in the last ten minutes, it was like a blur. All he knew was that someone named Tommy was a player.

"So since you have a week here in Florida, is there anything you wanted to do?" Roman asked out of the blue. "Obviously we're going to take you to a few places but is there anything you want to do in particular."

"I don't." Dean said. "Angel?"

She shrugged. "I have no idea what there is to do."

"Beaches, museums, nightclubs, really you name it Tampa has it."

"Not to mention, we're going to Orlando and Miami."

"I'm good with anything."

Roman clapped his hands. "Hell yeah."

"He's been planning this for weeks now." Galina said rolling his eyes.

"Hey, sue me that I like to entertain people. It's kind of my job,"

"I know you do, but Dean's been here about a thousand times."

"But Angel hasn't." Roman pointed out. "And it's not every day that we get a full week to hang out in one state."

"Let him be childish." Dean laughed looking at Galina. "It's cute."

"Says the guys with three kiss marks on his face." Roman shot back making him look at him.

"You're just jealous." He tossed his hair.

"This is going to be a long week." Galina sighed

"At least we're stuck in it together." Angel told her.

"That's true. At least I won't be alone this time."

"You both signed up for this." Roman pointed out. "And you can opt out any time."

Galina's eyes went wide. "I can opt out of this? Really?"

"Shit man, why did you have to tell them the secret?" Dean joked with a glare. "Damn it."

"Uncle Dean! Swearing." JoJo yelled from where she was playing.

"Sorry."

A.A.A.

Angel shook her head as she sipped on her drink. They had finished up dinner, which was so lovingly made by Galina, who apparently was the master of meal prep and had everything prepared for the meal yesterday. Something Angel called wizardry.

Galina had already pulled JoJo away to get her cleaned up for bed, which Angel had a suspicion that she did it to get away from the boys who were talking all about the show tomorrow. Lucky.

"I mean, think about it, in about twenty-four hours, you're going to be the WWE World Heavyweight champion." Dean said with a wide smile.

Roman looked smug as he took in his friend's praise. "Yep, and you get your match with Seth, where you're going to smash him in the face so hard that his hair won't be the only thing two toned."

A certain darkness filled Dean's face. "I can't wait." He smirked. "I'm going to rearrange that weasel's ugly mug. I'm itching just thinking about it."

"Too bad that it's not a stipulation match, I would love to see you smash his face in with a ladder."

"Too bad this isn't the indies; you could get away with bringing in a weapon and really giving it to him."

"There is some part of me that thought about screwing the match and grabbing something like a kendo stick so something and going to town."

"Damn, I wish I could be out there with you." Roman gritted his teeth.

"Don't worry, I'll beat him up a bit for you."

"Please do."

Angel took her head. "Careful, if you keep hyping yourselves up now, you'll burn out before tomorrow."

"Nah, don't you worry Babygirl, we got enough fire in our tanks to keep going."

"You might, but I'm a little tired." She sighed.

"Then tell this one to let you sleep at night." Roman said pointing to Dean.

Her face grew hot as she realized what Roman was hinting at. "I was talking about the fact that I'm tired due to all the physical and mental strain that we've been on with all the traveling and what happened this past week. I would like to leave a show just once where I don't fear that Dean's going to have to go to the hospital."

"Eh, you don't have to worry about that one tomorrow." Dean said cockily.

Roman laughed. "Yeah, you're only going to have to worry about him going to jail once he finally kills Seth."

"Oh, thank heavens that makes me feel so much better." She said sarcastically.

"Good, happy I could help." Roman laughed.

"All joking aside can I please get through at least Battlegrounds without having an aneurysm, please."

"No promises." Dean told her.

"Great." She rubbed her forehead.

"Would you expect anything else?"

"Nope." She sighed. "But I can still dream."

"Oh, come on do your really think it'll be that bad." Roman asked, kicking back.

She pursed her lips. "Dean finally had a sanctioned match against Seth, and you're in a ladder match with Kane and Randy Orton; yes, yes I do think it'll be that bad." She told them. She told them. "One way or another something stupid is going to happen and I just know it's going to be the Authority screwing one of you in some way."

"That's just par for course." Dean said. "We're used to it."

"Yeah," Roman agreed. "No matter whatever happens tomorrow, we're prepared for it."

Angel yawned as she walked up to the check in desk, which Roman and Dean in toe. As much as she knew it was stupid, she had stayed up talking to everyone much later then she should have. And she was paying for it. Coffee, need coffee. She told herself as she smiled to the crew member sitting behind the table. "Hello."

"Hey Angel. How are you?"

"Good, you?" She said hoping it didn't show just how tried she really was.

"I'm good thank you for asking." She said quickly as she flipped through the papers on the clipboard in front of her. "Angel Miles, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns." She mumbled as she checked all of them in. She then pulled out a couple of pieces of paper and handed them towards her. "Here the finalized schedule and the catering menu for tonight."

"Thanks." Angel took the papers.

"Good luck tonight."

Thanking her, Angel turned around and gestured to the boys that they were good to go find somewhere to set up.

Reaching a spot that they deemed suitable for the night, they threw their things into a pile and pulled out their headphones before getting cozy on travel cases and metal chairs. However, before Angel could even turn her music on, her phone started to ring.

She sighed when she saw Renee's name pop up on the screen. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk to her best friend, it was because she knew that this call meant Renee wanted something from her. And she didn't mind doing favors for her, but tonight she wanted everything to go as smoothly as possible. Taking a deep breath, she answered the phone.

"Hello Renee." She said making both Dean and Roman look up from their phones.

"Hey, how are you?" The woman asked a little too sickly sweet then Angel liked.

"What do you want?" She asked, trying to get to it quickly.

"I got a favor to ask."

"I kind of figured that out."

Renee laughed. "You act as if all I only call you for favors."

"During shows, it's like a ninety nine percent chance." She told her. "So what do you want."

"I want you to be part of the kickoff show panel."

"The panel?"

"Not for the whole thing, just for when we talk about Dean and Seth's match."

She sighed but said. "Sure, we can do that."

"Oh, no, no. Not we. Just you."

Angel's eyes widened. "Just me?"

"Yep, just you."

She had done her own interviews before but each time she felt strange doing it. "I mean…"

"Please. It would be like five minutes tops." Renee begged.

How could she say no. "Fine."

"Yes!" Renee cheered. "Thank you so much."

"I'm going to start keeping tallies for all these favors."

"Hey, I'll pay you back."

"I know you will."

Renee chuckled. "Well, I got shit to do, so I'll see you on the panel."

"See you then." She hung up and leaned back against the wall with an over exaggerated sigh.

"So, what did Renee want?" Dean asked.

"I'm apparently a guest on the kickoff panel."

"Oh?" He raised a brow.

"Yep, they want to talk to me about your match."

"Man, I was sure that she was asking about where she could meet me for my after-victory interview." Roman joked.

"Uh huh." Dean rolled his eyes. "She'll pawn that one off on Tom."

Not even paying attention to the two, Angel rose from her spot.

"Going somewhere?"

She nodded as she rummaged through her bag to pull out the shirt and pants that she wanted to wear for the show. "I have to go down to hair and makeup to see if they can cover this up." She gestured to her neck. Galina had helped her again this morning, but she was worried that since it didn't perfectly match her skin that somehow it would show on screen. And the last thing she needed was a bunch of people realizing why she had makeup on her neck and none on her face.

"We'll be here."

Quickly making her way down the hall to hair and makeup room, that was basically a small office that the ladies had fitted out for their purposes. She opened the door and was instantly hit with embarrassment as she asked them if they could help her. Leslie, the head of makekup smiled at her and patted on her chair.

No one in the room even mentioned the fact that she was riddled with hickeys, instead they started with their small talk, probably the same that they did with everyone.

Just as she started to relax into the chair, in watched Naomi and Paige. "We are here to get our face on!" Paige called.

"Well, you're going to have to wait just a second." Leslie told them as she made a point to show off that she was already working on someone.

"Wow." Paige gasped. "Angel what are you doing down here?" She skipped up to the chair she was sitting in. "I don't think I've ever seen you in hair and makeup. Trying to look good for someone?" Angel felt her stomach almost churn when Paige's eyes dropped down to where Leslie was brushing makeup on her. There was a spilt second that her brows drew together before a wicked smile came to her. "Oh! Well then." She cleared her throat. "I see why you're down here. No need to explain."

Angel inhaled as Pagie sat on the only empty spot on the vanity and kicked her legs around. "How are you doing, Paige." She asked trying to move on.

"Fine." She said. "How are you?"

"I'm good."

"I'm sure you are." She wiggled her brows.

"Paige, leave her alone." Naomi sighed as she made her way over. "Angel, you should just smack her one of these days."

"You should." Paige agreed. "Right in the face." She tapped her cheek and leaned forward as if she was expecting Angel to do it right then and there.

"It's fine." She shook her head. "I'll just have to get her back."

"Good luck." She said picking up a thing of eyeliner and swirling it around in her fingers. "However, maybe it should be us that slaps you." She looked up at her with a smirk on her face. "After your stupidly brave move that you did on Friday."

Pursing her lips together, she took a deep breath. "I'm sure a lot of people want to give me a good smack for that."

"Smack?" Naomi shook her head. "Girl, you deserve a round of applause. I'm not even sure if I would do that for Jimmy."

"That's because you're not stupid." Paige told her. "You have comment sense. Dean's lunatic side is really rubbing off on you isn't it."

"Yeah, I guess so." Angel said.

"Just be careful because that path leads to us pulling you out a pit of barbed wire and glass."

"I don't know if I'll go that far." She laughed. "But if I start threatening people with a fork, then you need to start worrying."

"A fork." Naomi questioned.

"The Jon Moxley special."

The woman's mouth dropped open. "God, he really did do v all that crazy shit that I've heard about."

"Probably and more."

"Never understood those death match fuckers." Pagie said earning a look from Leslie. "Sorry mama Leslie but there is no better word for them. They throw themselves into light tubs and thumb tacks. I've seen a few of them stab each other with needles. No thank you."

"Don't you have tattoos?"

"That's different." She said quickly. "They're not going through my cheeks."

"Oh god." Naomi gagged.

"Yeah, ew."

Angel felt a pat on her shoulder as Leslie stepped away from her. "There you go girl. You're done."

Paige jumped down off the vanity and leaned over to look at Leslie's handywork. "Damn, no ones going to be able to tell that your man sucked your neck like a wild animal."

"That's what I was going for." Angel said standing up to look at her neck. Even she couldn't tell that there were once a bunch of dark marks running along there.

"Alright, Naomi you're next." Leslie said patting on the chair that Angel was just sitting on.

"Hey." Paige whined. "Why do I got to wait." She gave a huge pout even as she popped back onto the vanity.

"Because the kickoff show is starting soon, which means she needs to get done as quick as possible."

"Good reason."

"Speaking of the kickoff show starting, I'm on the panel, so I must be off." Angel said with a smile. "Thank you for helping me out, Leslie."

"Any time."

"Don't tell her that. She'll be down here daily with new ones."

"Hey, you would have to blame Dean for that." She said switching spots with Naomi.

"Or your fault for being so hot."

"Yeah sure."

"Good luck tonight." Naomi said over her shoulder.

"Thank you."

"Oh, Angel." Paige called before Angel could leave. "Try not to get killed tonight."

Taking a deep breath, she looked over at the woman and said. "No promises."

Leaving everyone laughing, Angel felt the room and made her way back down to the boys.

After the boys admiring Leslie's work, she finished getting ready for the kickoff show. "Do you want me to come with you?" Dean asked.

She shook her head at him even as her mind was screaming YES! "I got this."

He smirked at her. "Damn right you do." He ruffled her hair. "Go get 'em."

As the security guard that was supposed to escort her to the kickoff panel came into view, she glared at Dean and smoothed her hair. "I'll meet you in catering afterwards."

"Sounds good." He nodded.

Ten steps away from their spot for the night, she felt the nerves starting to hit her hard. I got this. I got this. She told herself over and over. She had done so much over the last couple of months that this should be child's play, but even after all the interviews, all the press meeting, all the fan meet and greets, and in-ring things she had done, she still hadn't gotten used to be being in the spot light, especially without Dean.

Shaking her head, she steeled herself. I've stood face to face with Kane and with Randy Orton. This is nothing. It was like her body went 'well when you put it that way' and the nerves died down, not completely but enough to get her through the interview.

By the time they made it to the arena, the Kickoff show as already going on, and fans were packing into their seats. She looked around and watched as people excitedly found where they were sitting, showed off their signs, and took picture of the place. She could remember how that felt. She remembered being excited to see her favorite wrestlers live, could remember showing off her sign to the people around her because they wanted to see what she had made, those feelings were so cool and she missed them. But now she was on the other end of that, she was now one of the people that others were excited to see, that people made signs for. Weird.

When she got to the closed off area where the panel was already in full swing. She was surrounded by crew members that worked to get her all miced up.

"Alright Angel," One of them said. "Once we're focusing on the Fandango verses Adam Rose match, we'll have you join the panel, there is a stool waiting for you between Booker T and Christan."

"Ok." She said.

"We need to do a mic check." The crew member said into their walky talky.

"Ready when you are." Someone spoke back.

"Testing, one, two, three."

"You're good."

"Alright, everything should be good to go. Now we wait."

Waiting was already a hard part of anything. It allowed for the nerves to come back. You're fine. Renee won't let you make too big of a fool of yourself.

Fandango's music and she was quickly rushed over to the strange, shaped table.

"Hey girl, hey!" She barely heard Renee call over the singing crowd.

"Hey!" She called back as she sat on the stool that she was told about before.

"Welcome to the kickoff panel."

"Thanks for having me."

"I'm sure you know who everyone is." Renee said. "Booker, Christan, Alex, this is Angel."

"Hello, Angel it's nice to meet you." Christan put on his hand for her to shake.

"It's nice to meet you too." She said taking his hand quickly before doing the same with both Booker T and Alex.

"I know you're probably sick of hearing this," Christan said. "but I just want to say, I saw what you did on Friday and I have to say you have some guts."

"Uh, thank you." She said as she tried to fathom the fact that Christian, the Christian tag team partner to Edge was telling her that she had guts. "But I didn't really do anything."

"Didn't do anything!" Renee almost yelled. "You stood up to both Seth and Kane and you almost go a chokeslam for it."

"Standing up to the Devil's favorite Demon is no easy taste. Trust us." Christian said gesturing between him and Booker.

"Yeah, that man is scary." Booker agreed.

Angel tried to find something anything to say to that, and the loud theme of Adam Rose echoed through the arena, making it very hard to hear anything but the crowd singing along. Turning herself almost completely one-eighty, she lost herself in what was a quick match that ended in Adam Rose winning due to a Layla and Summer Ray distracting Fandango. Which She thought was bullshit. It should have been a DQ as soon as the girls hit him. But no. That's only just a huge rule in WWE, but why should we enforce it all the time.

"We are off to quite the start here for Battlegrounds on Kickoff Show!" Renee said as they got the sign that they're mics were live again. "We're edging closer and closer to the historical night here on the WWE Network. There is so much on the line from pride to WWE gold. Especially when we witness two former brothers and business partners, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins finally get their hands on each other three months after the crumbling of the Shield."

Angel's head cranked over to Renee. Three months? Seth had turned on them June second, a date that she would never forget, and that was only a little more then a month ago. Renee must have messed it up. However, before she could think about it even more, Seth and Dean's voices suddenly came over the speakers with sad music under them. It was the video package for their match tonight, and Angel wasn't looking forward to seeing it.

It started out tame enough, showing clips of their interview with Michael Cole, when they talked about what the Shield was and how it was made up of the four of them. Then it cut to what she didn't want to see, the video that Angel had burned into her mind, just from a different angle, the 'Plan B promo' as the people online called it. She had to admit that it was edited well. Making it feel like it was a trailer for an action movie.

The last thing that happened was that it turned into a compilation of what has been happening ever since the Shield broke up, Seth winning the Money in the back briefcase, Dean stopping him from cashing in, before ending with what happened on Friday.

"Stop!" Angel cringed as her own voice echoed over the arena. While on the screens she threw herself on top of Dean.

"Angel Miles is protecting Ambrose. She's protecting her boyfriend." Michael Cole said.
"She's nuts." JBL called back.

"You've become an nuisance." Seth voice said as the video showed her backing off from Kane.

"Enough." Hunter said stopping them.

"Your girl just bought you two days, see you Sunday."

"Tonight, for the first time ever, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will collide." Renee spoke as the video ended. "And we have invited a special guest here to talk about, Angel Miles. Hello and welcome to the panel."

"Thanks for having me."

"So, Angel before we getting too deep into everything, how are you feeling about this match? You were a big part of what happened."

"How do I feel? Well that's kind of hard to explain. It's been bittersweet, you know." She said looking around at all of the members of the panel trying to gage how well she was doing.

"How's that?" Alex asked.

"Now don't get me wrong, I'm really happy for Dean, that he finally got this match. He's been so desperate to get his hands on Seth, but it's kind of heartbreaking that it had to come to this, two brothers fighting against each other." She Explained. "One feels betrayed and hurt while the other seems to feel nothing about what happened."

Christian nodded. "Yeah, I get it."

"That's right Christian, you found yourself in a similar situation throughout your career, in reference of course to Edge." Renee said. "What does a situation like this do to the psyche of the Superstar."

"Well with any team there is individual ego, every single guy wants to prove they're the best. Personally, when Edge and I split up and faced each other for the first time. I was willing to do anything, I mean anything to win and prove I was the best. I see that in Seth Rollins, and the Authority saw that in Seth Rollins too. There's a saying, 'if it don't make dollars then it doesn't make since' and Seth Rollins is money in the bank."

Angel was taken back by Christian's words. She surprised to hear that he seemed to be on Seth's side with all of this. "I don't agree with you." She said. "As shocking as it may be." Everyone chuckled. "You said that you think that all this is to prove whose the best, but I don't see that, in this case. Now I can't speak for Seth, but I know that for Dean his isn't about pride. Seth hurt him, and now Dean wants to hurt him back."

There was a resounding agreement to that part, before Alex spoke up. "So, Angel we all know which side you are on, but some might wonder if it wasn't for the romantic link between you and Dean would you still be on his side?"

"Uh." She blinked as she tried to process his question.

"I mean, sure no one likes when their group is split up, but Seth seems to be the bigger man in this. He's moved on. He has his eyes set on what he can do with the Money in the Bank contract, meanwhile Dean had just laser focused on Seth, doing everything he can to be a torn in his back." She realized that she must have been giving the man a death glare because he put his hands up and said. "Not that I'm on Seth's side in this. I'm mearly speculating what some might see."

"Would I change who's side I would be on if I wasn't dating Dean? No." She said simply. "I wouldn't. I was the Shield manager, and I know I wasn't with them for a long time but we became friends quickly. We were together almost twenty-four seven and I felt that brotherhood that they raved about. Even without my 'romantic link' with Dean I would have still been in that ring with them, I would have still tried to stop Seth from hurting Roman and Dean, and Seth would have still hit me with that chair. Nothing would change."

"Something might have." Christian said with a chuckle. "Dean might be worse. There's something that tells me that you have a big influence on him and what he does, so without that link of yours I think Dean might have completely cracked."

"Some say he has." Booker added.

Angel shrugged. "And they would be wrong because this is nothing."

"Should we be expecting anything big for this match?" Christian asked.

"We'll see." She said. "It all depends on how Dean feels when he gets into that ring."

"True." Renee nodded as she took over the panel. "It's always about emotions when it comes to both of them."

"That is one way of putting it."

"Well then, Angel I wanna thank you for joining us on the Kickoff Panel."

"Thank you."

"Is there any final words you have about the match tonight?"

"I just hope that Seth doesn't' try to underestimate Dean tonight, because he'll regret it."

"Oh boy." Booker T laughed.

As Renee quickly turned the topic over to the Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt match, a crew member gestured for her to leave. Which she didn't while nodding goodbye to everyone, trying not to interrupt. Moving quickly to the far side where someone came up to take off her mic. By the time they got it off and make sure everything was good to go, Cameron and Naomi's match started. Which meant the real show was right around the corner.

Which only added to the anxious feeling that was creeping up the longer she stood there waiting for a member of Security to escort her to the backstage area. She had a feeling that they were waiting until the kickoff show was done so that they could walk everyone back, which made her thankful that Dean's match wasn't until about the halfway mark in the show.

When the kickoff show wrapped up, the four members of the panel quickly scrambled towards her. "Good job out there." Renee smiled at her. "Maybe I should see if you can become a permanent member of the kickoff show with me."

"Thanks but no thanks." She said quickly. "I wouldn't be able to be an unbiased party."

"Who is in this place. Have you heard JBL."

"Still, I don't think I'll be a good fit."

"Fine, I understand."

It wasn't until everyone had their mics removed that they were escorted backstage. As they walked through the crowd, people called and cheered for the different panel members.

"Oh hey." Angel said leaning into Renee. "I have to ask, did you mean to say that the destruction of the Shield was three months ago?"

"Huh?"

"When you were introducing Seth and Dean's match, you said that they finally get to get their hands on each other for the first time since Seth broke up the Shield, three months ago."

She watched as Renee thought about it. "I'm not sure, that was part of the bulletin points that I was told to cover."

"It was?"

"Yeah, every little promo thing that I do for the show, I have set points that I have to talk about and that was one of them"

Angel cocked her head. "They do know it's only been one month, right? June 4th."

"I would hope so, but that the same time who the hell knows."

Puzzled about why the Authority wanted to make sure that Renee talked about how it's been three months since the Shield broke up, Angel racked her brain. April? April was three months ago. What happened in April. WrestleMania? That was back when they fought against Kane and the New Age Outlaws, that's when they were on the same page. Stronger than ever. Why bring up back then?

Unless that's when Seth started to talk to the Authority? She shook her head. There was no way. She couldn't believe that. No. No. A couple of weeks before his betrayal, that she could understand, but not months. Even then his betrayal came out of the blue.

"Earth to Angel." Renee called. "What's going on in that head of yours?"

"Thinking."

"About the three months thing."

"Yeah," She sighed. "It's just weird, and anything that seems off just doesn't sit right with me anymore. It's like we're part of this on-going joke that everyone else is in on."

"If it makes you feel any better, I'm not in on it either."

"Yeah, that kind of does make me feel better."

When they finally got backstage, they parted ways. Renee needed to head down to the broadcasting truck, while she needed to head to catering, to meet Dean.

However just as she started pass the interview spot that was set up near catering, she heard Seth's voice echo. "I'm smiling Tom. You should smile too, it's a historic night my friend. Because tonight is the night that I finally put the dagger into Dean Ambrose and finish him off once and for all."

Oh really? Angel crossed her arms and stopped off to the side to watch the interview. "You see since I dismantled the Shield, he and Angel have been like little cockroaches, you know what I mean, just skittering around, and you try to stomp them out, but you just can't seem to kill them. Tonight, that little cockroach Dean Ambrose, he gets squashed. Before I do that, I want to take a second to answer the question that Ambrose so arrogantly proposed to me, you know the one, before I curb stomped his head into oblivion. The answer is no, no that's not all I got. And Dean Ambrose knows me better than anybody, he knows what I am capable of and tonight he's going to get everything that he bargained for out of me." Seth started laughing before his eyes peaked up to look right in her direction. "What are you doing here?"

Taking a moment to realize that he had addressed her during his interview she said. "Just watching."

He gave a humorless chuckle. "You think for a second that I believe that? Where's Dean? Where's he hiding and what crazy scheme do you have planned?"

"What? Dean's probably in catering where I told him that I would meet him." She said honestly. "I was on my way there when I saw you giving this interview, so I stopped to hear what you had to say."

Seth looked around. "Yeah sure."

"You know Seth, you seem a little paranoid." She laughed. "Dean's not here. I was coming from the kickoff panel," She pointed behind her. "And like I just said, I saw you giving an interview, so I decided to stop and listen."

Shaking his head, Seth stepped forward, until he was in front of her face. "Whatever, watch all you want, maybe you'll learn what a real man looks like."

The absolute audacity. "I already know." She said looking him up and down. "Six foot four, two hundred and twenty-five pounds, blue eyes, brown hair, and just a little unstable."

"You seem proud of that devil may care attitude that you got from working with the Shield." She gave him a smug smile as an answer to that. "You would be smart to watch yourself though, because that attitude can get you in trouble. Like it did on Friday. You're so lucky that I didn't curb stomp you, and that Hunter stopped Kane from choke slamming you."

"That what everyone keeps tell me."

"Thing is Hunter is a bit busy right now. Running the whole show, you know."

Angel blinked. "Are you threatening me?"

"I'm just say that you should be more careful."

"Or what?"

"Or…"

Angel leaned once Seth stopped. She knew that he didn't want to outright threaten her on live television, but she was going to push him as much as she could. "Or what?"

Seth opened his mouth, though before he could say a word, something came plowing into him hard and fast. She had to take a moment to realize what it was Dean.

"What are you going to do to her? What are you going to do to me?" Dean asked over and over as he pummeled Seth over and over.

As if they were the ones lying in wait, the officials were on Dean instantly. They trieed to pull him back, but Dean wasn't finished. He pushed everyone out of the way and went back after Seth. The two of them tangled together and fought until they booth ended on the floor up against the travel cases.

"Get off him Ambrose."

"Hey"

"Come on!"

"Ambrose!"

When even more officials showed up and focused on Dean, who to their credit was who started the fight and was being the aggressor, Angel pushed her way int the chaos and tried to pull them away from him. Which allowed Dean to get away just long enough to smash Seht's head off the travel case.

"Wow, Dean!"

"Stop."

"Quit it."

They screamed at him as he grappled with a light that was set up to help illuminate the interview spot. As they struggled to get under control, the light came crashing downright next to Seth.

Mixed up in the confusion, Angel found herself being pulled and pushed around until both her and Dean were pulled off to the side in chokeholds.

"What are you going to do? Huh, Seth? What are you going to do?" Dean still yelled.

"GET HIM OUT OF HERE!" Hunter's voice echoed through the hallways as he appeared in front of them. "GET THEM OUR OF MY VENUE!" He grabbed Dean's face. "GET THIS PIECE OF CRAP OUT OF HERE!"

"WHERE YOU GOING TO TAKE ME?" Dean yelled matching Hunter's tone. "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET RID OF ME!"

"YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SCREW THIS UP!" The officials and security guards forced them down the hall while Hunter kept screaming.

"YOU CAN'T GET RID FO ME THAT EASILY!"

"Come on you lunatic."

"Walk."

"Get going."

"You really are crazy."

"Hey watch it!" She yelled as of the men pushing them towards the exit grabbed her arm a little too hard.

"Get off her!" Dean thrashed about. "If you hurt her…" They were suddenly pushed out into the hot summer night, both of them stumbling a few feet before getting a hold of them.

"Good riddance, you loon." They heard as the door closed and locked behind them.

Catching their breath, they both looked at each other, then the door. "Great."

"Fucking Seth." Dean kicked at something on the ground. "That arrogant prick."

"And he thought that I had a scheme up my sleeve." She sighed, knowing that the officials and Hunter showed up way to quickly to be a coincidence. "I can't believe I played into his hands."

"It wasn't you, it was me." Dean said. "I was watching the show on the TV in catering and saw him talking to you and just exploded."

Which was exactly what she thought happened. "So, now what?"

"We need to find a way back inside."

"Yeah, but how? I'm sure they'll be on the lookout for us, and all the side doors are locked."

"True, but they forget that we have a man on the inside." He pulled out his cellphone.

She raised a brow. "I'm surprised you still have your phone on you."

"Yeah, well I hadn't decluttered my pockets just yet, since you know I didn't expect to have to deliver a full on beat down before my match."

She chuckled. "Does it still work aft that chaos?"

"Not even a scratch." He smirked.

"That's lucky."

Sticking out his tongue, he played with phone before bringing it to his ear. "Come on Ro, come on. Fuck!" He hung up and shook his head. "Damn it, of course, this is the one time he doesn't have his phone on him."

"You know there's a show going on, maybe he's busy."

"Yeah, well…he should stop that." He said trying to call him again. "Pick up your fucking phone!" He yelled before hanging up again before instantly redialing. "Shit. How long until my match?"

"I'm not sure? Twenty, thirty minutes?"

"Welp, let's hope that the big lug answers his phones on time."
