Girmov headquarters after a while
The day was over as the wrestlers left in preparation to continue tomorrow many are leaving in groups or pairs while Kaito was again all by himself sulking from another bad day. Charlie approached Carly "Hey Carly I'm going to hit the arcade, are you coming?"
Carly snapped looking towards the Hart girl with a sorry expression "um sorry I already have plans" Carly admitted looking down.
Charlie shrugs excepting the answer "Alright suit yourself" she said leaving Carly behind, Carly remained in her seat as other wrestlers started leaving one by one until they're all gone. The door that leads to Ms. X's office opened revealing Lady whom was looking around for any other people finding no one she turns back "Ms. X the cost is clear."
"Thanks Lady" the voice of Ms. X replied as the CEO got out, Carly beamed with a light smile as she got up.
"Are you ready for dinner?" Carly asked hopefully as Ms. X simply nodded "Great."
In a restaurant
The mother and daughter duo have arrived at the restaurant they'll be eating at for tonight, Ms. X had taken a big bite from the fries as the tingling feeling of the warm yellow fry made it all the way to her stomach "hmm this's good" Ms. X said as she keeps eating another bite.
Carly smiles seeing this different yet warm side of her mother, however as the two were half way through their meal the atmosphere started getting awkward as they keep looking to the side unable to meet eyes, X opened her mouth but whatever she wanted to say immediately died on her throat as she looked down.
Carly wasn't fairing much better as she glances around awkwardly unable to find subjects to talk about aside from "So are the gyms finally in?"
Ms. X expression went back to the stoned expression to that of Girmov's CEO as she coughed clearing her throat "Yeah about time too for this week's episode will start a new direction for our company and it'll help having more crowd in it."
Carly nods excepting the answer "So we don't really need newcomers right?"
X looked towards Carly with a questioning gaze smelling something fishy "No, I'll give any wrestler a chance so we'll still have our doors opened for newcomers" X plainly answered as she glares into Carly's eyes "Did you get in trouble with one of our newcomers?" X asked as this's the best reason she could think off from her daughter's question.
Carly sighs closing her eyes "Yeah that annoying girl May Hogan she keeps talking on and on like no tomorrow and it's even worst that she's my locker neighbour" she admitted before looking towards X with a hopeful gaze "Unless you change my locker placement" Carly said hopefully with the best smile she can muster.
X shakes her head "Nope I'm not changing your locker placement since it'll be ton of paperwork, some wrestlers will be breathing down my neck as to whom they want to avoid being neighbours with and I already have enough paper work for the upcoming episode."
Carly let out a defeated sigh as she drowned in her seat before her ear caught up on something "Wait you said you already have the show under control so what new direction will we be taking?"
X closes her eyes taking a deep breath shaking her head "Sorry but it's a surprise for you guys and a known knowledge for us in the management" Carly accepted defeat as she stayed silent but X decided to give her a hint about her problem "Trust me when I say maybe this girl will help you."
Carly snapped looking towards her mother a shocked expression "What?"
"I said maybe she'll help you out in something after all I once found myself in your position and well I acted and reacted just like you even" X chuckled "And look at me now the CEO of this new company so maybe you'll follow suit."
Carly didn't understand what her mother was saying but before she could ask more a loud noise is heard making everyone turn around to its direction seeing a drunken Kobayashi dancing around "Yahoo *hiccup* I'm the queen of the world" the drunken redhead said as she hiccups again and again, her companion a drunk yet less drunk than her man with short black hair and dark blue eyes dressed in a business suit chuckles (Makoto Takiya from Kobayashi Dragon maid) he gets a phone out calling a number.
After three rings the person on the other side picks up "Hello Sakura it's me Takiya" the voice on the other side sounds like a teenage girl whom sighs deeply asking an obvious question to which he closes his eyes to and scratches the back of his head nervously "Yeah sorry me and your mom went for drinks and you know your mom when she's too drunk" the girl's voice sighs again as she answers "Alright I'll be here for your mom until you arrive" the man said as he closed the line.
Kobayashi looks towards the man with her drunk expression "Takiya who was that *hiccup* on the phone?"
"It's your daughter" he answered as he caught Kobayashi by her sleeve "Now sit down until she arrives to get you" he said as he dragged the woman on her chair where they sat down.
Carly shakes her head from what she saw turning around to Ms. X whom cleans her plate which causes Carly's eyes to widen "What are you doing?"
X looks at Carly with a calm expression "I'm cleaning up so we can leave."
Carly got up "Wait I still need to ask you something-"
"Ah!" yelled the drunken Kobayashi seeing X the drunk redhead gets up looking towards the CEO as she limbs in her direction.
Takiya notices this as he gets up attempting to stop Kobayashi but due to his drunken state ends up falling down too, meanwhile Kobayashi continues her drunken march towards X until she finally face to face with her "Hey *hiccup* are really Ms. X *hiccup*?"
X closes her eyes messaging them 'Great a drunk' she thought to herself grimly "Um can I help you um?"
"Kobayashi, Hinoka Kobayashi" the drunken woman answered "As to how you can help me well I want you to *hiccup* take it easy on my daughter in your promotion *hiccup*"
X was rather caught off guard "Um sure who is it?"
Kobayashi let's out another hiccup before getting her words in order "Sakura Hagiwara."
X's eyes widened seeing no similarities at all between this woman and Sakura Hagiwara 'wow she really drank a lot didn't she?' the CEO concluded in her thoughts "Um sure."
Kobayashi despite her drunken state felt that X didn't believe her "Hey, she may inherited more from her dad's side but she's still my daughter *hiccup* she's my daughter who haven't won a single match yet *hiccup* sometimes I ask can she really win? *hiccup* I mostly just listen to what everyone else is saying about her to know and right now she's not very hot *hiccup* and I doubt I'll hear otherwise any time soon *hiccup*."
Before X can counter an argument a call is heard "MOM where are you?" asked a girl's voice revealing herself as Sakura Hagiwara causing both X's and Carly's eyes to widen as Sakura approached her mother stopping her from falling as she sighs "Mom you promised me that you'll watch how much you drink" Sakura scolded the drunken salary woman.
'They really are mother and daughter' X and Carly thought in shock at the same time.
Hinoka looks at her daughter with a huge smile "ah Sakura we were *hiccup* just talking about you."
Sakura sighs turning towards Ms. X bowing lightly "I'm sorry if she bothered you."
"It's alright we were leaving anyway" X managed to reply as she was leaving only for Kobayashi to jump tackling.
"Hey, you didn't answer *hiccup* me" the drunk argued making X dread as she tries to parry her off.
"Hey, you let go of my mom!" Carly said as she tries to get the drunken woman off of her mother.
"MOM!" Sakura yelled as she also came down trying to parry her mother off.
Outside near the restaurant
Sayuri along with Ranma who woken up were waking side by side, while Sayuri was walking like normal Ranma was looking down fidgeting his index fingers. He swallows a lump on his throat "Um I'm sorry about falling asleep" the cursed boy managed to say.
Sayuri laughs loudly "C'mon it's alright it isn't the first time I seen it happen before, hell it even happened to me" she admitted "Hell there was that one time me and my long time rival Jackal Tojo had fallen asleep in the gym when we were having a late night training session, we were tired our clothing was torn and to top it off we fell asleep on top of each other when our comrades came the next day they looked at us weird" the former world champion looks up with a nostalgic smile on her face "Everyone started making rumours about us being an item, it took nearly half a year for it to stop hell some still believe it."
Ranma looks at the general manager with a questioning gaze that also have a bit of rage on it "Why do you find it funny? Aren't you mad that you accused of something you didn't do?"
Sayuri looks at Ranma with a calculative gaze "Yes I was but looking back at it now it was comedy gold" she shrugs her shoulders getting her sight back on the road "I guess time just heals wounds."
Before Ranma can say more a loud noise is heard curious Sayuri follows it seeing her boss Ms. X being tackled on the floor by a drunken redhead while Carly and another girl are trying to parry her off. Immediately Sayuri rushed in catching the woman easily lifting her up "wah *hiccup* let go of me."
Sayuri sighs as she wraps her arms around her head knocking her out with a sleeper, Sayuri then slowly puts Hinoka down as Sakura approaches Sayuri bowing lightly to her "I'm sorry for the trouble."
Sayuri nods excepting the apology "Alright just take her away."
"Yes, again sorry" Sakura apologized as she went to the taxi that she brought to take her drunken mother home.
Sayuri returns her gaze at Ms. X whom was being helped up by both Carly and Ranma "You okay boss?"
X brushes the dust off of her uniform nodding "Yeah I'm fine no need to panic" Sayuri nods as the group go their separate ways.
Carly's apartment building
Carly was walking with a bit of caution not only because of the late hour but also due to her previous experience last time she did it. Thankfully it appears that her nemesis's have learned their lesson as to not attack her outside since there has been no sign of them yet. Quietly Carly reached her floor only to become stiff seeing someone in front of her door, the light's seems to be broken as the figure is covered in darkness.
Gulping her spit and taking a deep breath Carly gathered up her courage getting her phone out using the flashlight upon seeing the figure Carly's courage disappeared as dread took its place seeing one May Hogan beaming a huge smile "Surprise!" May yelled making Carly fall on her knees shaking in defeat "Um are you alright locker neighbour?"
In another route
Gohan was making his way back home with a bit of dread washing down on him, his meeting with the newcomer Jasper Jones is still fresh on his mind. 'How does she know about the Super Saiyan form or what a Saiyan is? I doubt any of our friends would ever spell the beans and the Nations won't spell any information like that to non-trusted officers, but the thing she said about her past life is rather interesting, maybe Dende can help me with that?' the half breed thought to himself as he finally reached his home being a restaurant called the Son family diner.
"Welcome" said a woman with long black hair styled in a ponytail and onyx eyes dressed in a traditional Chinese dress being coloured blue and red outlines with a white apron on top, upon seeing Gohan she smiled widely "Ah Gohan your back, how's work?"
Gohan musters up the best smile he could as he answers "It was great as ever mom."
His mother nods "It's great that your taking this seriously."
"Gohan your back?" asked another woman's voice revealing herself as a young woman with shoulder length black hair and onyx eyes dressed in a similar attire to Gohan's mother only it's green instead of blue and also has a white apron on top.
"Yeah Grandma Gine I'm back" Gohan greeted his grandmother before adopting a serious expression "Hey is uncle Raditz here?"
The duo of women sigh a little "Yeah he's back after another power measuring contest with Vegeta, he's in the living room upstairs where your aunt Launch is treating him" his mother answered in a deadpan tone.
"Okay thanks" Gohan said as he went upstairs and opened the door that separated the Son family home from the restaurant and just as his mother told him Raditz being a huge muscular man with long spiky black hair and onyx eyes was sitting on the coach being treated by a woman with long blonde hair and green eyes dressed in a green tank-top and brown shorts along with a red ribbon wrapped on her head.
"ow watch it woman" Raditz yelled at the woman whom only becomes more pissed.
Raditz becomes fearful as the woman presses her nose against his while keeping an enraged expression on her face "Listen here bob I wasn't the one who gave you these wounds, right?"
"Yes dear" the Saiyan stuttered as he bours sweat from his skin.
"Then shut up and bear it" she whispered with venom.
Gohan takes a deep breath grabbing a nearby spray cleaner and sprees a little at the woman's direction "Hey what's the-" she tried to yell but it was held back by her sneeze as she sneezed it caused her hair to turn blue, her eyes to black and her angry expression was replaced with a perplexed empty expression.
She looks around wondering "Oh what's going on?" she asked curiously.
"Um aunt Launch can I talk to uncle Raditz alone?" Gohan asked as the now named Launch simply nodded leaving the two men alone.
Raditz breathed in a sigh of relief looking towards Gohan with a calm expression "Thanks Gohan you saved me."
Gohan nods as he takes a seat next to Raditz on the sofa "Can we talk?"
Raditz adopts a serious expression "Did something important happened?" the adult Saiyan asked since Gohan only talks to him when something occurred, since according to everyone else Raditz isn't good with regular things only action stuff.
Gohan nodded as he recalled his meeting with Jasper, Raditz expressions varied from surprise to suspicion until he finally took a thinking pose absorbing what he heard "hmm I have to say I'm surprised this woman knows what the Super Saiyan is or even what Saiyan's are, but how does she know? The only ones that know about it are the Dragon Warriors and those martial artist in Ryozanpaku as well as some secret organizations."
"This got me thinking more about her claims about her past life" Gohan said recalling the woman's outrageous claims as he continued "Like I remember that you, grandma Gine and Vegeta said that Planet Vegeta wasn't the Saiyan's original home which got me thinking even more about this place called Alma Torran."
"Alma Torran?" the voice was heard belonging to Gine.
Gohan looks towards his grandmother with confirming gaze "Do you know it?"
Gine thinks deeply "I remember there were some old writings about the Saiyan's original home but the Tuffles or maybe Freeza destroyed them."
"What did they say?" Gohan asked.
Gine thinks harder "All I remember is that there was a war between two deities one represents light and the other darkness that destroyed the world and the Saiyan's were able to escape that fate and settled in Planet Plant."
Raditz nods folding up his arms "Yeah, I heard that too but not much else" the adult Saiyan looks at Gohan with confirmation "I'll talk to Piccolo about this so he relies it to Dende or" he gulps as sweat again bours out from him "Mr. Popo" Gohan and Gine also stiffed just hearing that guy's name is enough to scare them due to his training methods "If they can deduce anything just to be safe meanwhile you avoid talking or just fake ignorance whenever that woman talks to you."
"Yes I understand" Gohan confirmed knowing this.
"Hey Gohan" yelled a little girl's voice revealing herself as a little girl with long black hair and onyx eyes dressed in a blue t-shirt and yellow trousers. She smiles widely "So what kind of fights took place today?"
Gohan shakes his head smiling "None it was only that one time Ranch it won't happen again."
The now named Ranch bouts "Dang it I really wanted to hear more about how wrestlers fight backstage."
Raditz sighs as he looks at his daughter "C'mon Ranch why do you care about this sport? Like you have us right in front of you martial artist Saiyan's" he yelled the second sentence proudly as he took a pose.
Ranch just shrugs "Well because human fights are more intense due to them not being high level dad and being able to follow the action as well as the way they work" the little girl admitted breaking her father's pose.
"Ranch" Raditz said defeated looking down.
Gine giggles at this as she smiles "Alright everyone dinner time."
Kaito Marx's apartment
The only male member and jobber of Girmov found himself on the couch of his lonely apartment he has a saddened expression watching the tv an episode of male wrestling and now are doing an interview after an intense match with the victor.
On the tv are his former co-workers Griffin Knights being questioned by the press. The one being questioned the most is the victor a man about two years older than Kaito having long spiky blonde hair and blue eyes dressed in red tights with blue linings and matching boots along with red wrist bands. This guy is Syrus Lance he was and still is one of the best guys in the gym his skill, strength and technicality had made many vote him as the next in line for the being the gym's ace but the only thing that stopped him was their coach Kazuma who reportedly didn't approve of his attitude which Kaito agrees with. Now Kaito didn't really have what one would call a good relationship with his former co-workers for they bullied him, spoke their minds openly about how much he sucks, how he got through nepotism rather than earn his way like they did and want him kicked out(which happened after 18 losses in a row) but out of all of them Syrus was Kaito's biggest bully.
It all started after Kaito's fifth match where he was out right knocked out giving his opponent a TKO victory in order to try and help enhance Kaito, Kazuma booked him in a match with Syrus hoping that Syrus's technicality would put Kaito in a much better light in the fans eyes by letting Kaito have his moments but Syrus wouldn't just let him win and at the same time humble Syrus a little however unfortunately for Kaito, Syrus was originally considered for the IWGP world championship picture but Kazuma denied him that massive opportunity despite the NJPW producers opting for him.
The match was a complete disaster as Syrus refused to follow Kazuma's wishes for he saw Kaito as the reason for being denied an opportunity for a shot for the biggest golden prize in the country and owned Kaito through out the match dedicating it to humiliate the jobber further than already after that Syrus cornered Kaito trying to shove his thumbs in Kaito's eyes in order to poke them out, Kaito terrified booted out of the ring giving Syrus a count out victory which only served to enrage Syrus more. Ever since then Syrus took every shot at the jobber's expense and to make it worst he had the entire gym(safe for Kazuma) in his side for they saw how much of polar opposites the two are.
Syrus was born to a working class family that had difficulty in living expenses and thus Syrus had to use his body to ensure his future, he struggled, fell but risen up again refusing to go down. Kaito was born to legendary wrestling parents and lived a comfy life. Syrus did everything in his power to be recognized by promoters to sign him to the big leads as he didn't sleep like regular people as he was busy going from one Indie arena to the next traveling through the country using his small almost broken car. Kaito was recognized and signed up to the big leads because of his name. Syrus was an incredible wrestler who managed to win the fans over by giving back more than he was given. Kaito was a complete joke a man who was given everything yet gave so little in return. Syrus was a confident man whom confidence can turn into overconfidence. Kaito was polite and reserved.
Seeing all of these differences it didn't take anyone to decide who to side with especially given that Kaito was an acclaimed underdog which didn't sit well with the others since Syrus was a real life underdog. Syrus's bullying varied from small insults to messing up the jobber's stuff, after Kaito's latest defeat it was Syrus who spearheaded his firing.
Syrus is sweaty yet has a proud smile on his face "Mr. Lance this was an incredible match you out there, are the NJPW producers reconsidering putting you back on the world title picture?"
Syrus licks his lips as he gives another confident look "Of course they have been speaking with me about this for almost 6 months. I'm going to be in it for real this time" he then gives a challenging gaze to the camera "So watch out Okada and keep that belt warm because I'm coming after that it and I'll have it around my waist."
The reporters take pictures as Hikari Kuruma steps up "Mr. Lance I have a question, and it isn't about you or the Griffin Knights."
Syrus looks at her with a curios gaze "About what then?"
The woman simply speaks "It's about Kaito Marx" as soon as the name left her lips Syrus's eyes became murderous as the reporters struggle to remain on their feet's.
Syrus gets up from the wooden bench being surrounded by his juniors as he clutches his fists tightly and presses his teeth together "What about that loser? Why do ask about him?" he asked yelling loudly in anger "He isn't here anymore so why are you asking about him?"
Hikari gulps down from the amount of rage that not just Syrus but the other members are releasing "Um…I meant as what are your" she gulps again "Thoughts about him in a female exclusive federation?"
Suddenly the aura of rage disappeared making the reporters calm but Syrus still looks angry "Well he deserves it."
"Huh?" Hikari asked.
Syrus gives her a glare that makes shake in her boots especially as he approached her menacingly snatching the mike from her hand. Syrus looks to the camera "Now listen closely because I don't like to repeat myself" he said the final sentence looking menacingly at Hikari whom is now cowering in fear "Stop it already about Kaito this or Kaito that, he's nothing more than a spoiled man-child who was born with a silver spoon attached to his lips" he continued "He's a living insult to me and every wrestler out there, he was given a great resume yet did very little with it. He did nothing and I mean nothing but disappoint all of wrestling fans out there by taking spots that don't belong to him, they belonged to guys who are desperately making their way to the top and actually care about the fans" he then takes a breather "Now as to what I think about him in Girmov?" he smiles "Well I say karma finally caught up to Kaito, as I said he disappoints the fans by making their favourite wrestlers look like idiots who are beating up a sleeping Puppy making many wrestlers myself included lose big shots that we have been dedicating our entire lives to" he then breathes deeply "Now he can make joy to the fans by being the girl's league's punching bag I know I'll toon in to episodes where he's featured just to see him receive his comeuppance for all of his crimes against wrestlers, fans and wrestling in general."
He takes another breather "It also shows how even now he still riding his parents cocktails unable to prove himself since Sayuri Rogue is the general manager, now we all watched and enjoyed Sayuri's boats with Akio Marx but it's obvious he's in Girmov because Sayuri signed him up so he doesn't cry like a baby whom makes a temper tantrum because nobody wants to play with him" he stops hearing ooh's from his fellow Griffin Knights "Now like I said Kaito has his work cut out to him since he showed us his 'all great' wrestling skills by losing to Ms. X one of the weakest female wrestlers the world have seen, Kaito I don't like you and I don't care if you feel otherwise about me or not however I'll tell you this you better keep the girl's beds warm if you wish to stay there" he stops before continuing " As it's obvious you'll only be kept there in exchange for 'certain' favours but don't worry because I'm sure Rogue is going to pat you on the back and calm you down saying stuff like: you're the best, you could have won that match if your opponent wasn't a bitch. The way a parent calms their spoiled kids" he looks at the reporters with a glare that penetrates them making them shake in their boots "That's all and don't you ever let me hear that name ever again, got that?" the reporters simply nod as Syrus leaves.
Kaito shuts the tv off as he holds his face with both of hands not caring that there was still some time left in the episode, even now after all this time Syrus's tongue always finds a dent in Kaito's determination and pierces it like a knife twisting. The jobber goes to his bed laying on it as he forces himself into slumber.
Carly's apartment
"What are you doing here?" Carly asked May whom has a sombre expression on her face.
"I'm here as a surprise visit I heard you liked them" May said with a nervous smile as she fidgets her fingers.
Carly looks angrily at her "Who told you that?"
"Your friends the Won sisters" May answered honestly.
"And you just believed them?" Carly yelled making May flinch as she whimpered in fear.
"They seemed friendly" May argued in her defence politely.
Carly sighs deeply in rage "You can't just trust anyone you moron" she yelled making May's eyes widen from fear "I knew you were annoying but I didn't know you're an idiot."
"I-" May tries to explain only to be interrupted by Carly.
"You know what I don't care and I don't have time for this I'm tired so take your huge mouth and peanut sized brain elsewhere because your fired!"
"You don't mean that right?" May asked hopefully trying her best not to break down crying.
Carly eyes are red from being enraged "Just go and bother someone else and yes I mean it I'm the CEO's daughter."
"I'm sorry I just wanted to apologize and be friends with you but if you want me out I'll go" May said looking down as she walks away trying her best to remain calm but few tears fall on the floor making Carly's eyes widened "I'll go bye" May said running off before Carly could stop her.
The CEO's daughter looks down sighing "I'll leave her alone for now knowing her I'll see her tomorrow" the Stylish Tiger told herself as she entered her apartment.
What Carly didn't know is that their was a man hiding in the shadows watching this as he presses his ear piece.
Unknown location
An octagon ring is set in the middle of what appears to be a cave, the ring's ropes are made out of electric wires which have intense visible electricity dancing around it. Inside of the ring are two women fighting the first is a young girl with short brown hair and hazel eyes dressed in a black two piece attire with red linings (Cao Rin Shen from fighting beauty Wulong), the second is an adult woman with long black hair styled in a ponytail and matching black eyes dressed in a red/purple leotard (Cao Chun Yan from fighting beauty Wulong). The girl is down breathing heavily as her body is full of cuts and pumps, her eyes are swallowed and is coughing blood her opponent the adult woman doesn't seem the least bit hurt as she stands above her with a smile and gaze that screams superiority. The girl looks sniffing "Big sis please stop" she begged.
The adult woman takes a thinking pose before snapping "No" she screamed as she delivered a kick to the girl's face making her cry out in pain, the woman laughs before looking at the wired ropes adopting a sadistic smile as she approaches her little sister grabbing her by the hair as she screams.
"Ah please stop" she cried out.
The woman ignored the cry as she approached the wired ropes dragging her sister by her hair, the little girl saw the electrified ropes as her eyes widened figuring out her sister's plan "No sis please I'll do anything just please stop!"
The woman ignored the cries and pleas for mercy as she finally approached the wired ropes "ENOUGH!" ordered a man's voice sending chills down the woman's back as she looked up seeing a man hidden behind the shadows the only thing that can be seen on him is his grey business suit "Chun Yan what did I say about using your sister as a testing dummy?"
Chun Yan just grits her teeth as she jumps off of the octagon, the man snaps his fingers as the servants shut off the electric ropes while others escort the younger girl out the man sighs "Great who disobeyed me and allowed this fight to happen?"
The servants are stiff as one answers "Master we tried our best to keep Ms. Yan from doing this but she killed many of us using the Cao eight point star Kenpo."
The man tch's "I'll teach her a lesson later" before he could lament more on his rage his ear piece picked something as he presses it "Yes, who's with me."
"Master it is I Ninja star eight number 1-543" the man answered from the other side before continuing "We can carry out your plan now."
The man's mouth twists into a sick smirk "About time get prepared."
"Yessir."
The man shuts off his ear piece looking towards his other servants "Be ready for carrying out our first part of the plan."
The servants stiffed taking a military pose "Sir yessir."
Next morning Sakura's apartment
The former idol struggled as she slowly opens her eyes adjusting to the sunlight while her alarm is ringing loudly, she finally finds the strength to wake up looking gloom. Her mornings were getting harder and harder to adjust too since as a wrestler she's required to wake up early for the training sessions which are absolute hell, nonetheless she grits her teeth and bare it for the sake of Sweet diva's tarnished pride the former idol gets up going to the bathroom.
After a while the former idol comes to the kitchen in order to prepare herself breakfast but something gets her eyes in the kitchen.
Her mother Hinoka Kobayashi is wearing a cooking attire watching a tv program.
"Next we pour some flower on the plate" the cooking host said as Kobayashi continues following the instructions.
Sakura is rather surprised seeing this since they don't cook food in this apartment of theirs they just heat things up in a microwave or a toaster "Hey, Sakura" Hinoka called snapping Sakura's back to reality "Could you help me out with this next step."
"Sure" the former idol said as she came over the two continued following the steps the cook host on tv kept saying until they put the thing inside the oven, Sakura gaze her mother a questioning gaze "So what is this about?"
Hinoka takes a deep breath trying to muster up a smile which doesn't succeed "Well I have been thinking about helping you build up some muscle for your next match whenever it happens" Sakura's eyes are widened at this answer "So I looked up ways to improve and one of which was certain diets and today's cooking show's episode happens to be making it today."
Sakura holds her chest since well despite being mother and daughter the two aren't close, they aren't estranged but yet are far away from one another with Hinoka's working schedule and her dedication to her job and Sakura's busy schedule as an Idol the two barely talk and just acknowledge each other's. Hinoka didn't even attend a single one of Sakura's concerts something that the Idol feels strongly about which isn't helped that her other friends families are always there with the exception of Nanami Kanno but that's a story for another day. This made Sakura a bit envious of her friends since they have families that celebrate them while she the main vocalist only family is her mother whom is never there.
Her thoughts are snapped as the oven suddenly starts heating up, Hinoka opens it op immediately as what ever they were cooking exploded in her face as she squirms around trying to wash it as she did that she knocked the remote control as the channel changed into the sports channel.
"Now in latest wrestling gossip aside from Syrus Lance thoughts on former Griffin Knights member Kaito Marx being in Girmov, the story continues of Sakura Hagiwara from Idol success to wrestling failure" the photo of Syrus and Kaito is replaced with Sakura being caught in the Boston crab by Chinatsu in her first debut match "Sakura Hagiwara have now wrestled a total of 20 matches and yet isn't anywhere near winning many think that the Idol would quit after a few more losses I know I would."
"I agree Hagiwara can't even beat rookie talent let alone a pro such as Rio Kazama so she better save face and leave" the other host commented.
Sakura's expression changes to rage that the media is mocking her goal that she's determined to achieve "And don't just take are word for it, see this video which started trending about one of the Idol's relatives thoughts on the matter" the video is that of the drunken Hinoka speaking her thoughts to Ms. X which makes Sakura's eyes widen however before the hosts can continue the tv is shut by Hinoka whom looks at her with a nervous smile.
Sakura turns around leaving "Sakura I was drunk I" she sighs since Sakura left refusing to listen running away "I was trying to help" she whispered sadly.
Girmov headquarters
Kaito is sitting in front of his locker as Dynamite Rin is laughing at him "Wow you must really pissed that guy off huh Marx?"
Kaito just sighs looking down as Syrus's interview yesterday became trending wrestling gossip which of course reached his new work place, the jobber tries to mentally prepare himself for the rest of the day as his female companions would pick on him about it.
Before Rin could press more Carly came over to the jobber "Hey Kaito have you seen May?"
"I-" Kaito was about to argue only to hear the question "huh?"
Carly sighs "I said did you see May? After all you're the early bird here."
Kaito blows on his hands rewinding "Yeah, she looked upset as she packed her stuff."
Carly's eyes widened "She what?"
"She packed her stuff saying she was fired" the jobber answered as he sighed "She seemed nice and strong how did she get fired is beyond me but she really was broken about it trying to be brave but I saw tears in her eyes, I really going to miss her."
Carly remained in her place realizing what she has done 'Oh no, what have I done?'
"Carly X to the office" Lady's voice snapped the Stylish Tiger as she followed her to her mother's office.
Carly found herself seated in front of her mother whom has an angry expression on her face "So I would like to know what happened between you and the newcomer May Hogan?"
"Why do you think it's me?" Carly asked gulping down while she was indeed at fault dealing with her enraged mother isn't on her to do list.
X sighs looking at her daughter "Well when the day started two things occurred the first is Kaito being in the centre for what one of his former co-workers said about him and the other about May looking rather upset for a girl of her nature, it even was weirder when she was packing her stuff handing over the locker key to Ryuji saying she was sorry for going out of line he tried to ask her more but she ran off saying she was fired" X emphasised on fired looking at Carly directly in the eyes making her daughter flinch "Of course I questioned all of management members and they said they didn't fire her which got me thinking that one of the wrestlers did, after a few questioning and crossing I came across you my own daughter."
Carly sighs seeing she was caught "I met her yesterday in my apartment and I didn't want to deal with her so I told her she was fired she started crying and I tried to talk but she ran away" she admitted "I decided to give her some time to cool off and talk to her tomorrow which is now."
X sighs "Carly you might be my daughter but here you are another employee you can't just fire anyone."
"I-I know it just that-" before Carly could argue further Ms. X's phone vibrated.
X curios opened it seeing a message from an unknow number the message read: 'Ms. X come meet me or else' there was attached picture which X opened. The eyes of the CEO widened seeing the picture of a captured and cuffed May on a chair the message continued 'Or your federation's reputation will be damaged further by having a dead wrestler.'
A/N: dun, dun, dun. What do you guys think about the twist? I was suffering greatly from writers block but thankfully I managed to overcome it. I named Kobayashi Hinoka since she doesn't have a first name as far I was concerned in her media. Syrus Lance is an OC by me that'll be a major part of Kaito's development and went so far to make his design and hints of his backstory to be the opposite of Kaito even in his name as L is pronounced like M in Japan I was going to make his first name starting with C but I didn't any Japanese male that starts with C. thanks for reading and have a nice day.
