December 20, 1938 Korea under the Japanese colonialism
The competition of Ssireum amongst the young competitors children of Korea raged like fire within this cold winter as now Sin-rak and three other boys remained seeing their names on the brackets "Very well you four you have done well to make it this far" the proctor praised as he sized them up "But there can only be one winner amongst you, so are you ready?"
"YES!" the four boys cried out.
"Alright then let the first match of the semi-finals begin between Sin-rak Kim and Yejun Kuk" the proctor ordered as the two other boys left the arena with Sin-rak and Yejun bowing to one another and then grabbed the belts wrapped around each other's waists known as the Satba as the head referee signalled the gong.
DUN! The thunderous sound of the giant golden gong shook the atmosphere.
Yejun started pushing first as he gained an early advantage over his opponent but Sin-rak dug his feet within the sandy ring stopping his opponent's movements as he pushed back his opponent onto the ground on his knees cracking him a little before picking him back up and throwing him on his legs making Yejun grit his teeth in pain. Sin-rak began his own push being much stronger and faster than the one his opponent began with as they easily reached the end of the ring but Yejun managed to stop his opponent's momentum in the last second not getting out of the ring yet, Sin-rak then began giving shoulder shots to his opponent who stumbled from each shot until his legs gave out for him to fall outside the ring DUN!
"First round goes to Sin-rak Kim!" the head referee announced as the two boys let go of each other's with Yejun remaining in his place whilst Sin-rak going to the opposite direction the two boys drank their water and were checked for any injuries before they allowed back into the ring as they met in the middle grabbing the Satba. The head ref raised his hand "Let the second round of the first semi-finale match begin!" he chopped his hand down as the gong sounded yet again DUN!
The two youths started strong as they began pushing against one another like two Bulls locking horns Sin-rak tried to push his opponent down once more but Yejun wasn't going to fall for that move again as he used the Satba wrapped around Sin-rak and took him down on his knees before picked him up on his shoulder lightly and then began pushing him back against the ring's edge but Sin-rak recovered as he headbutted his opponent and pushed him back but Yejun recovered as he kneed Sin-rak in the abdomen three consecutive times in a row and tried to push against Sin-rak but the young Kim stood his ground as he gave three knee shots of his own. The two boys remained in the middle of the ring exchanging blows and pushes until the time sounded DUN! "Second round winner neither!" the head ref cried out as the two boys left the sandy ring back to their respective corners.
Behind the scenes Momota watched the action with an inquisitive look on his face as he brought his hand to his chin scratching it 'Hmm I need to inform however compared this to Greco-Roman Wrestling a reality check it's actually much closer to Sumo but slaps and punches aren't allowed here like it is in Sumo not to mention these competitors are much leaner, could it be because this's a local competition rather than an international one? Or because this's the determined weight of the sport?' the Japanese man thought to himself before his gaze shot back to the Korean boy Sin-rak Kim.
The two young competitors returned back to the ring grabbing the Satba of the other as the gong sounded again thunderously as the third round began, the two began pushing the other to the side going for a take down but nether seemed to get the edge over the other as they kept exchanging positions from the guy standing on his knees to the guy sitting on his knees that is before Sin-rak managed to gain the edge and threw Yejun over his shoulders on his back still holding on to the Satba as he easily picked his opponent up and pulled him in for a headbutt that stunted him as Sin-rak began pushing him back to the edge of the sandy ring but just as he reached the edge Yejun smirked as he recovered and turned around throwing Sin-rak outside DUN!
"The third round winner and the winner of the match is Yejun Kuk! Yejun Kuk now moves on to the finale match!" the head referee announced.
After recovering from the shock of his loss Sin-rak left but not before having one last match with one of the other remaining boys who lost for third place medal which the young Kim won. The young boy sighed as he gazed at his third place medal seeing it as nothing more than a constellation prize "That was quite the performance you put there" a man's voice called out grabbing the Korean boy's attention his eyes widened recognizing the man.
"Your him that man with the Sumo guys" Sin-rak said.
"Yes your memory serves you well my boy my name is Minosuke Momota" Minosuke introduced himself.
"Well um thanks for the other day with the medicine my father really needed it even though many doubt he would live much longer" Sin-rak said grimly as he couldn't say much aside from this.
"I saw your performance at that Ssireum competition."
Sin-rak sighed deeply "Yeah I can't believe I fell for that trick in the semi-finale."
"You know if this sport allowed the usage of hands in combat you could easily won" Minosuke said his thoughts from what he deduced when he watched the matches take place. Sin-rak turned around not meeting the man's eyes as his father told him being pitted is no better than being picked up on, sensing the boy's shift in feelings Minosuke decided to continue "I'm not trying to uplift your spirits."
Sin-rak shot the man with a glance "Then what are you after?"
"Straight to the point eh?" Minosuke asked "Well that saves me sometime so Sin-rak Kim what if I told you, you could easily become a Sumo level Yokozuna with your skills if they are allowed to prosper?"
"You want me to be a Sumo Wrestler? Me a Josenjin?"
"Josenjin or Japanese born doesn't matter as long as you have talent not to mention our stable is really desperate for new members who possess quality" Minosuke said "A Yokozuna lives a life unlike those beneath them with women, riches and success."
Sin-rak shifted uneasily from the man's offer but many questions ran through his mind like 'What if he's lying?', 'What if he doesn't have what it takes to be a Yokozuna?', 'How'll he get to the heart of the Japanese empire in the first place?'
The boy was snapped out of his reflections by a palm on his shoulder looking up he saw Minosuke giving him a smile "I understand if your scared and have a lot of questions but I assure you everything will be alright because I'll be right there with you all the way, if you waste this opportunity it'll not come again it's a one time opportunity you have until the upcoming spring to make your mind boy."
Sin-rak watched the retreating form of Minosuke Momota as he began thinking about this opportunity of a new path of betterment to himself and unbeknownst to him others as well.
Present El-Palacio gym
The El-Palacio group simply stared at Dawn as Ouka decided to be the one to break this she walked over to Dawn staring deeply into her eyes which didn't show deception or even wavered "So what can you do?" Ouka asked seriously.
"Honestly I don't know yet but I'm sure something will come up soon" Dawn admitted as the others fell on their backs at this.
After a while from recovering Dawn was welcomed inside by the group as she sat down with them on their table eating lunch whilst also thinking of ideas "What if we crashed another show?" Itsuka suggested.
"Um we already did that and we're being sued" Bunny Kisaragi answered in a deadpan tone.
"Maybe try and do things on the internet like a let's play?" Hina asked.
"Actually that can work with two little girls co-up play" Tadasuke praised "You have a good head on your shoulders Hina."
Hina turned red as she played with her chopsticks "Um thanks Tadasuke but I doubt I can bare appearing on You tube."
"Well I'm sure you'll be fine rather your calm air will play off well with Itsuka's fiery tendency, you guys are a good duo of little girls" Tadasuke said before he suddenly felt sick knowing were to turn to the amnesiac ref gulped seeing Mariko with her eye smile but accompanied by a black aura.
"Ara, Ara little Tadasuke are you suggesting that I'm old?" Mariko asked in a sweet tone but everyone can feel the venom in her tongue.
"Um no I'm just saying that Hina and Itsuka are a little bit younger that's all" Tadasuke defended stuttering.
"A little bit younger?" Mariko asked opening her eyes with a fiery glare as her tone was completely venomous.
Dawn saw this as she stopped eating; she was sitting next to Ouka whom she got her attention by budging her arm against her own Ouka saw this as she turned to Dawn swallowing her food "What's up?"
"What is it with her?" Dawn whispered pointing at Mariko.
"She just doesn't like being reminded of her age is all" Ouka said chuckling.
Suddenly a gun shot was fired making Dawn scared screaming as she jumped up "Ouka you bitch we're not that far away apart from each other's!" Mariko said shedding her mask of kindness completely.
Ouka simply smirked "Please I don't remember being born in the 1970's" as these words left Ouka's mouth the dining room turned into a battlefield as the others made for it with Dawn tripping before being grabbed by Tadasuke by her…chest Dawn felt this and as soon as she was out of the line of fire she slapped him.
"TADASUKE!" Hina cried.
Dawn got up holding her chest looking over the male ref "What is it with you grabbing women's um exclusive areas?"
"It's an accident I swear!" the male ref shouted.
"Other than that these two are really easy going having their fights when we're in a pickle" Kisaragi said looking over the battle.
Dawn saw the other's neutral reaction to this and learned simply from that and Kisaragi's comment it's a common occurrence here.
"Alright let's go take a walk outside to make more ideas until these two are finished" Tadasuke suggested as the other's nodded in agreement and followed.
Outside in the market place around El-Palacio
The group along with Dawn strolled as they finally reached their destination the Don's café "Welcome El-Palacio and I see you brought a new friend along" the man said seeing Dawn as he turned red a little and chuckled "She's nice could she be a new member?"
"No Don she's here to help us in the lawsuit" Tadasuke answered.
"Oh yes I heard about it Ouka's fiery temper finally landed her on a landmine, eh?"
Tadasuke sighed deeply "Yep that outrageous oaf acting before thinking."
"Now, now Tadasuke boy don't say that or Ouka will be very angry with you" Don reprimanded.
"Please she's always angry just like the Hulk" the male ref said as he took one of the seats in front of the older man "Get me something cold."
"Yes and what of the others?" the Don asked.
"The usual things" Bunny Kisaragi said as they took their seats next to Tadasuke as Dawn sat down there too.
"And what of you young lady?" the Don asked Dawn.
"Um just get me a cold cola" the blonde said, the Don nodded as he brought the drinks for the group Dawn got her wallet out but was stopped by the Don.
"Nope it's on the house" the Don said.
"No I'm not a regular here so let me pay" Dawn argued.
"I'm fine young lady just enjoy your drink" the man affirmed.
Seeing no way around it Dawn simply began drinking allowing herself to rest and think of other ways to save the gym, as she was doing that two men were talking behind them "So you heard that the Wrestling people of the market are being sued?" the first man asked his companion.
"Yep serves them right that monster redhead girl forcing us to buy tickets every time we come here and that cowgirl that almost kills everyone with her gun" the second man replied shuddering at the last sentence "Why isn't the ref doing anything about her? Hell how the fuck does he allow her to carry a real gun around?"
"Yeah that stupid ref where the fuck did they get him? The basement of his parents where he was reading porno magazines?" the two laughed as they continued.
"Yeah and then you got that mascot girl who dresses up like what a grade schooler would wear for a Wrestling ring, and not mentioning these middle schoolers that absolutely suck one of them only redeeming quality being the eye-candy to the lolicons and those into bloomers."
The two men laughed loudly as the group tensed at their comments whilst the Don's eyes were shadowed by his cowboy hat "Yep let them close down and the people of this market can see REAL women's Wrestling from the likes of Queen Elizabeth, Hornet and Fiona Fangs the pinnacle of women's Wrestling."
Dawn tensed and trampled in anger as she began increasing her hold on the glass not far from crushing it as hearing praises to her three most hated enemies didn't help make the situation any better "Ahem I would kindly ask you to leave" the Don spoke seriously.
"Huh? What did you say Oldman?" the first man asked looking at the Don's direction where he saw the El-Palacio group "Huh the losers are here?"
The second man laughed "Oldman please don't tell me you actually consider that 'show' decent?"
Itsuka had enough as got up on her seat ready for a fight "Come at me I'll show you some real Wrestling!"
The two looked at Itsuka momentarily before breaking down in laughter "Did she actually challenge us to a fight?"
The second guy caught his breath as he pointed his index finger at Itsuka "Please if you can't beat this woman that dresses like a grade schooler playing Wrestler" pointing at Kisaragi "Then you can't beat us."
"You want to try that!" Itsuka yelled as she rushed towards them before being held back by Hina and Tadasuke "Hey! Let me at them I'll not allow them to say these things about us!"
"It please calm down there not worth it" Hina begged.
"Exactly don't cause trouble" Tadasuke begged.
The two men looked at them with large sickening grins "Hmph let's leave I lost my appetite" the first man said.
"Yeah the smell is disgusting the last thing we need is for that ugly redhead to come" the second man said pretending that a bad smell exists however the two suddenly felt pressure on them as they turned around seeing Ouka and Mariko both girls giving daring looks to them.
Ouka smashed her fist inside her palm "Would you like to repeat that again?"
The two men dreaded until the first glared "If you know what's good for you monster you'll not attack us."
"Oh really?" Ouka asked sarcastically.
The first guy got his knife out as he charged at Ouka with a battle cry but the redhead easily avoided him as she grabbed him from behind disarming whilst keeping a strong hold on his arm. "Bro!" the second cried out rushing to his aide until he was stopped by a bullet shot a few feet's away from him looking up the man was greeted by Mariko's alter ego Mari the kid the Cowgirl heel of El-Palacio the man shook his head as anger overcame his expressions "Don't kid around you bitch!" he cried out with a raised fist but Mari easily avoided him as she elbowed his back and hit the back of his head with the gun causing it to fire the group cried out as they ducked avoiding the bullet.
"Please not inside my shop Ouka" the Don pleaded.
"Hmph consider this payback when you allowed these GWM ladies inside Oldman" Ouka stated as she kicked her opponent's stomach following it with a punch to the face, Mari hit her opponent's chin with her gun before booting him on the face.
The two men were next to one another as they glared at the two women who in return shot them with smirks with Mari playing with her gun "No this's not the time for this" Tadasuke whispered as he tried to stop them the referee manage to step in between the two pairs as he raised his hands "C'mon guys let's talk this out" he requested stuttering but his request was met by a gun shot from Mari the kid.
"Step aside Doggy" Mari the kid said as the pairs returned to fighting.
"WHAT'S GOING ON?" a Cop asked.
"Uh listen officer the thin-" Tadasuke tried to explain.
"Ref using a gun in a match is illegal" the Cop said.
Tadasuke sighed since it's the second time this happens he turned around to the fighting pairs with Ouka and Mari having the upper hand over their opponents with Ouka easily overpowering and beating down her opponent with strikes and lariats whilst Mari was strangling her opponent with a rope. "Stop you two this's isn't a Wrestling match" Tadasuke said trying to stop Mari from strangling the man with her rope.
"I GIVE! I GIVE!" the man yelled "Just let me go" he pleaded trying to undo the rope.
"Hmph that's the right answer Dog" Mari praised as she forced him up and began spinning him around wrapping the rope around his entire body before kicking him towards his fallen partner who was focused on Ouka that he didn't see him.
"Wah!" the two yelled together as they spun around the floor until they got out of the door before getting up and running for it.
Ouka smirked as she dusted her hands whilst the crowd that formed began cheering "Yep fellas you can get to see more of this in our place El-Palacio make sure to be there in our next show" Ouka announced.
"What just happened?" Dawn asked.
"It's nothing new for these two either the only difference is they didn't fight each other's" Kisaragi said.
"Alright guys let's go get us-" Ouka was about to speak until a cough cut her off turning to the direction of the cough Ouka was greeted by the Don who didn't look happy as he simply pointed at the mess she and Mariko caused letting out a sigh the El-Palacio group began their clean up duty.
As they were cleaning up Dawn was moving up a box that was rather heavy until she tripped on some water that was used to mop the floor the blonde tried to get her footing but fell and the contents of the box also scattered "Queen Bee are you alright?" Hina cried asking as she rushed towards the fallen American.
"Yeah ouch what's in this box anyway?" Dawn asked as she went to pick the fallen contents of the box she picked up what appeared to be a photo curious Dawn looked at it, it was El-Palacio gym but it looked more alive than it is now with many Wrestlers standing before it posing for a group photo one person in particular got the two's eyes "Is that Azumi the ace of Heat?" Dawn asked pointing at Azumi who was standing next to Ouka and Mariko.
"Yeah it is Azumi, what is she doing here?" Hina wondered.
"It's not just her most of these girls are in Heat or scattered in other places" Dawn pointed out, just then someone snatched the photo looking up the two were greeted by Ouka who looked somewhere between angry and sad.
"Oldman I thought I told you to burn this" Ouka said in an almost whisper of anger shooting a glare at the Don.
The Don sighed before shooting Ouka with a pitied look "Ouka you can't easily just burn this away."
"Yeah I can just watch" she stated grimly as she reached an oven and turned the fire on before getting the photo out and just as she was about to burn it, it was snatched out of her hand by Dawn "What do you think you're doing?"
"Look I may not know what's going on entirely but I can get a few things and I'm highly against burning this because I can tell it was from a great time" Dawn answered as she shot a gaze of confirmation towards Ouka.
The redhead simply sighed as she left "Fine keep it if you want."
"HEY NO SLACKING! THIS'S YOUR MESS TO BEGIN WITH!" Tadasuke cried out.
The redhead simply chuckled as she shot her signature teasing look at the male ref but it still lacked some of the usual spark behind it "C'mon a referee's job does include cleaning after a match not to mention your my manservant."
Tadasuke fumed as the redhead excused herself and left them to clean the mess after letting out a defeated sigh the rest of them finished the cleaning as Dawn sat down she still held on to the photo that Ouka wanted to burn gazing at it with a weird sense of nostalgia "Thanks for saving it" a soft voice of gratitude spoke turning around Dawn saw Mariko as she instantly tensed.
"Your not going to pull a gun right?" Dawn asked fearfully.
Mariko shook her head "Nope sorry about that it's just happens when I get into my ring persona Mari the kid El-Palacio's number one heel."
'She's a little like Lyra but Lyra doesn't use guns, doesn't enter her persona outside training or Wrestling or is sensitive about her age' Dawn thought to herself calming down a little "Yeah I kind of understand what you mean and no need to thank me for saving this photo it's a beautiful photo that needs to be immortalized."
"Indeed you have a good eye" Mariko praised.
"Yeah can we see it?" Itsuka asked as she was tired and wanted to rest "I mean Ouka up and ditched us when she saw it."
"Well it's nothing new for her" Tadasuke stated sarcastically before receiving a slap from Mariko "Ouch what was that for?"
"Little Tadasuke you have a lot to learn about women" Mariko stated in her moth-ahem big sisterly tone shaking her index finger with a smile.
"Yeah like not touching the private parts" Dawn added.
Tadasuke looked down letting a defeated sigh out "Your not letting this go are you?"
"C'mon Ms. Queen Bee Tadasuke didn't mean it" Hina spoke in defence.
"What's up with the photo anyway?" Kisaragi asked bringing them back on track.
Dawn simply showed them the photo as the four gazed at it with wounder "Hey is that Azumi the ace of Heat?" Itsuka asked in surprise.
"Yeah I meant to ask you Mari-sis why is Azumi in this picture?" Hina asked in curiosity.
Mariko closed her eyes as her expression tensed in sadness "Well because Azumi used to be an El-Palacio Wrestler" the Don answered on behalf of Mariko.
"Really? When?" Tadasuke asked.
"Yes and it was back when El-Palacio was a federation filled with potential and dreams" the Don looked up as he recalled memories from long ago "Everyone came from all over the country to see that place."
"Wait how could they all fit inside the garage?" Itsuka asked interrupting.
"There was no shows in the garage, the garage was the training ground the real shows were held in arena's" the Don answered much the fours shock "Anyway the promotion began gaining more and more followers because of this little lady" the Oldman pointed at a girl in the middle she was big and muscular with short crimson hair with an antenna and green eyes carrying a crimson championship belt on her shoulder with a big wide smirk.
"She's not little" Itsuka stated the obvious.
"The Don means she's young" Kisaragi told her in her deadpan tone.
"Oh that makes more sense" Itsuka said in realization.
"Um is it just me? Or does she look familiar?" Hina asked.
"Yeah she looks like Ouka" Tadasuke said with widened eyes.
"Naturally sisters can look similar" Mariko stated breaking her silence as the information was processed and digested by the rest of them.
"Huh Ouka has a sister?" Tadasuke asked in shock before speaking again "Where is she then?"
"Yes Ouka does have an older sister her name was Ranka Shumisen she was the champion of El-Palacio with unrivalled strength and a work ethic that drew the best out of every opponent she faced she remined on the top when she reached there" the Don answered before becoming grim "But people started getting bored of Ranka being on top and El-Palacio started losing their fans in order to save their promotion the talking heads decided to get behind an up newcomer that earned her place that newcomer was Azumi" the four fresh recruits along with Dawn gasped in shock "However they knew Azumi could never defeat Ranka in a match so they went against their beliefs and worked the match so Azumi can emerge victorious."
"What's a worked match?" Tadasuke asked Dawn shot the young man with a questioning gaze that the others did except Mariko and the Don "Did I say something wrong?"
"Yeah aren't you supposed to be a referee?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah I'm a referee but what does that have to do with this?" Tadasuke retorted.
"A worked match means that a certain person is already decided to win by the heads and the competitors obey the orders regardless of what they think and who can really win" Kisaragi revealed "That also includes the referee who ensures the winner is the chosen one."
"But that's not fair it's cheating" Tadasuke cried out "How can anyone go with this?"
"A lot of reasons come to mind little Tadasuke" the Don revealed "In this case Ranka loved El-Palacio like her family she didn't want it to fade or being held down so she swallowed her pride as a Wrestler allowing Azumi to defeat her it was big and long awaited but it was also the beginning of the end to El-Palacio the president got sideways with his vice who left and formed Heat, Azumi who was a newcomer was not ready for the responsibility she carried on her shoulders as the company's ace and champion especially lacing up the boots of an incredible woman like Ranka Shumisen both in the ring and outside of it, depts started increasing and the rise of new gyms only added more pressure especially Heat who raided the talent out of El-Palacio the only ones that remained are Ouka and Mari."
The others gasped in shock whilst Mariko looked down as her chest tightened of the events that were recalled and Dawn eyes widened with an agape mouth 'It's a lot like what happened with Queen Bee but it's still different.'
Tadasuke collected himself as he looked at Mariko "What about Ranka?"
"She left no one saw or heard of her ever again after the match with Azumi" Mariko answered.
"Wait when you and Ouka told me and Hina El-Palacio was a rising new federation was that a lie?" Itsuka asked.
"Well not completely Ouka thought it'll be a good idea to rise El-Palacio from the ground up with a rebirth and I agreed" Mariko answered "We went as far as challenging GWM's world woman tag team champions Payne Fox and Queen Elizabeth after they squashed the Candy pair to win the titles they accepted the challenge when Ouka crashed one of their press conferences and me along with Ouka were in our heads that we can beat them with her prowess and my heel tactics but we were wrong we ended up being squashed ourselves with Ouka eating a pinfall from Queen Elizabeth."
Dawn's eyes were cloaked by a shadow as she found herself in a never ending train of memories that doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon "Wait Itsuka and Hina you guys joined El-Palacio after that?" Tadasuke asked.
"Yeah me and It found and joined El-Palacio after that match" Hina answered.
"Is it the same with you Kisaragi?" Tadasuke asked Kisaragi tensed a little as she turned back silently confusing Tadasuke, Hina and Itsuka before leaving herself "Please don't tell me I said another wrong thing?"
"No not this time little Tadasuke" Mariko answered as she gazed where their Bunny masked Luchador was "I myself don't know why Kisaragi joined."
"Really?" Itsuka asked.
Mariko nodded "Yeah it was someday when Ouka came back with this new girl wearing a Bunny mask all what Ouka told me is 'This girl doesn't want to die again'."
The three of them were taken back by the comment until Dawn raised her head "I got an idea."
"What is it?" Hina asked hoping for salvation in this time of need.
"How about a crossover event?" Dawn asked "I mean you guys only have these matches amongst the five of you if we bring in some new people it'll rise the interests of the people."
"This's a good idea but who'll do the crossover?" Mariko asked "I doubt anyone will be interested in us."
"Just leave this to me I'll get you guys opponents" Dawn assured.
"I don't mean to be rude but do you even know where to begin?" Hina asked.
"Yep I already know one person who'll help" Dawn answered.
Later Girmov
"Nope not doing it" Lyra answered honestly as Dawn was shocked.
"But Lyra don't they remind you of Queen Bee?" Dawn asked trying to get her old mentor on board.
"Yeah but I doubt they can keep up with me you know how I get in the ring more than anyone Dawn" Lyra pointed out.
"Well I'm sure either Ouka or Mariko can keep up with you."
Lyra looked at Dawn "What about you why don't you compete for their sake if you want to save them?"
Dawn tensed looking down "Because I can't not anymore my match with the Cowgirl couldn't save Queen Bee so I doubt my match with anyone there could save them."
Lyra put her palm on Dawn's shoulder as she lightly slapped it "Think about how you'll do this before asking for help" was the words Lyra spoke before leaving Dawn behind.
Night time Dawn's residence
Dawn laid down on her couch looking up the ceiling as her mind rested for the first time today the sound of a musical ring snapped the blonde out of her reflections looking where the ring was the blonde sighed seeing it's her phone picking it up Dawn decided to see the identity of the caller first before answering. Dawn's eyes widened seeing a name that hadn't called her in years 'Mom' she was so caught that she forgot to answer allowing the musical ring to continue near the end of it until she shook her head snapping herself the woman accepted the call before putting it on her ear "Hey mom?"
"Oh you finally picked up I thought you'll miss the call because of these pumps that could have made you deaf" the voice of the woman was as stern as she remembered accompanied by her snarky backhanded comments.
"Um what is it?" Dawn asked informally but her tone was that of fear and some shock.
"Oh darling we need to work on that speech pattern it seems this barbaric sport had ruined more than just your body" her mother remarked with disgust "Anyhow your father told me about your call to him this day in your time how you plan to leave this sport" she allowed herself to chuckle "It took a rather longer time then I would have preferred but your finally passed that rebellious phase of yours and came back to your senses" Dawn remained silent allowing her mother to continue "When will you be coming?"
"I-I don't know" Dawn simply answered a sound was heard in the other end which Dawn can tell was that of disappointment.
"Well please inform me so we can start working getting you back on the right track to college then a respectful office job with good money and retirement plans and of course a good husband to raise a nice family" her mother said "Bye."
"Bye" Dawn said as the line was cut off she buried her face in her hands as she screamed in anger "Even now she's still trying to control me!" she let her anger out on a pillow that was on the couch as repeatedly punched it after letting her frustrations out Dawn picked up her phone again going to her favourite contacts calling Lyra three rings were heard until the mentor finally picked up.
"Hey what's up?" Lyra said tiredly Dawn looked down whimpering "Dawn?" Lyra asked worried.
"Mom called me" Dawn admitted.
After a long silence Lyra decided to speak "So what did she say?" Lyra asked being Dawn's mentor and confident since her lowest days Lyra did learn much about her trainee both professionally and personally one of the latter category biggest problems is Mrs. Johanna Sawyer Dawn's mother who was as old school and close minded as one could be.
"She said that she's glad I passed my 'rebellious' phase and talking about getting my life back on track" Dawn answered looking down with subtle rage.
"Well I don't see why not" Lyra said.
Dawn looked up glaring "What is that supposed to mean?"
"Well you made it clear you don't want to Wrestle and do you have any other plans of your own" Lyra stated Dawn tried to argue but whatever she wanted to say died on her throat "I thought so unless you have an argument to present and any fight to do for that argument just allow your mother to do what she wants, bye."
Dawn held the phone as the line was cut off sitting down the blonde sighed deeply as something fell out of her pocket she went down and picked it up seeing it's the photo from earlier, unable to stop herself from gazing at it Dawn was absorbed in it as the photo by a mind game of her own the El-Palacio members turned into Queen Bee members as a single tear went down her cheek. Shaking her head and creasing the tear away Dawn looked up with a new found sense of determination getting her phone out.
Tomorrow morning Girmov headquarters
"In the latest news Girmov Wrestler Queen Bee spoke last night regarding the squash match she had this last Friday episode of Xtrema with Death Carpenter stating 'I was blackmailed by Ouka Shumisen of El-Palacio into this scheme of hers. Now that her match with Carpenter had gone nowhere I want justice to be done justice which I'll take with my own hands in a match it'll not only be me but my fellow Wrestlers affiliated with Girmov will help me take vengeance by defeating her allies'" the reporter spoke on the news that was turned on by the tv.
"What seriously?" Reiko asked "Does that mean we're going to take revenge?"
Ayah yawned tiredly "I really don't want this it's too much work taking revenge."
"Hmph I doubt this's true; she's just making up excuses" Mantis stated.
Lyra looked at this as a smirk appeared on her face 'So this's your choice Dawn?'
The door opened revealing Dawn who looked calm and ready as the others simply looked at her with varying looks those of curiosity, those of confusion and those of non-belief a clap was heard as Queen Elizabeth appeared with a smirk "Well Dawn this's quite the lie you told."
Dawn didn't seem to mind the insult as she simply gazed at Elizabeth with her smirk which didn't hold contempt or hatred behind it "What makes you say that? That redhead blackmailed into her scheme."
Elizabeth glared subtly as she pressed her face against Dawn "Stop playing around it doesn't suit a loser like you what could that weakling hold against you?"
"She knows my real ring name and I want to shut her up" Dawn answered simply.
Before Elizabeth could press further "Queen Bee" Lady called appearing before them "Ms. X's office now if you please."
Dawn entered X's office as the blonde looked as calm as she did whilst X had a glare on her face pressing her nail against the desk "So what's up boss?"
"I want to know what the hell are you doing?" X asked.
"Whatever you mean?" Dawn asked.
X laid back on her chair as she brought her hands up "The tweet about Ouka Shumisen of El-Palacio."
"Okay let's just say this's a bit personnel and I know you can't turn back from this" Dawn said with confident.
"Hmph don't underestimate me just because I don't run a corrupt monopoly anymore it doesn't mean I lost any of my edge" X stated "You better clean this mess of yours or else."
"Else what? I'm getting out of the business this's my real last match and event a good send off for me" Dawn said "I already have planned this ahead."
Meanwhile at El-Palacio
The gym for the first time ever in forever was swarmed by reporters as Ouka posed for the camera's while the others were too nervous or lost save for Mariko who also enjoyed the attention posing for the camera's. Kanae along with Natsuki stood before Ouka as the green haired woman had a mike in her hand whilst the black haired man held a notebook "Ouka Shumisen is it true you blackmailed Queen Bee into this scheme of yours?"
The redhead smirked "Yep but now that my match with Carpenter didn't go well I have no use for her so I'll expose her secret but since I'm a noble face Wrestler I'll give Queen Bee the chance to shut me up if she can beat me in a match."
'No noble face Wrestler would use blackmail' Natsuki told himself in his thoughts before smacking himself.
"It's not just me and Bee this will be a joined team fight whoever wins the best three out of five matches will win a total of 5000 yens" Ouka stated as she pointed at the camera "So Queen Bee you better have your squad ready you coward."
Hidden from the camera's Hina gulped as she watched the exchange "What is Ouka thinking? We don't have that much money or do we hold any dirty secret against Queen Bee" the little girl whispered in fear.
"She doesn't think she just acts on instincts like an Animal does" Tadasuke said in a long tired sigh.
"Hmm I doubt this perhaps this's a joined cover plan by the two of them" Kisaragi deduced.
Tendou dojo
"Queen Bee of Girmov had accepted the challenge of Ouka Shumisen and revealed the people who'll join her in the series of matches" the reporter stated before coughing "Queen Bee will have Sakura Hagiwara, Bice Conte, Carly X, Lyra Booker and finally herself against Hina Asano, Itsuka Makihara, Bunny Kisaragi, Mari the kid and Ouka Shumisen. The team that wins best three out of five matches wins 5000 yens."
"5000 YEN!" Nabiki cried out "Why wasn't I told about this? We could have easily just thrown Saotome in and we would win."
Ranma didn't say anything as he kept eating his food "Now we go to the remains of the burned down Furinkan high with Tenzo."
Ranma spat his rice out as he stared at the tv along with Nabiki and Akane. The tv screen changed showing the location of their school being gone with what little walls left standing having burned marks all over "Thank you Kaeda as you can see everyone a mysterious fire appeared on this school as people in the neighbouring area didn't call the fire department until after the flames went up to the roof it took a lot of effort and over 16 trucks with hose to finally put the fire away when questioned by the department why was this this reported sooner before it got out of hand? The witnesses answer was simply it was not out of the ordinary, the only survivor within the building and the instigator was none other than the schools own Principial Hagane Kuno himself the man was questioned by the department on the cause of the fire to which he replied he was trying to do a science experiment by using materials he recently bought and claimed he was conned the Cops had determined the man as the potential instigator and will be held behind bars until further evidence can be gathered" the camera panned out showing the Hawaii fanatic Principial having burned clothes that were torn and eaten by the fire as the Cops force him inside the back of the car "For now it's estimated that the students along with the staff will be transported to new locations."
Day of the event El-Palacio gym
A large sea of people walked through something that no one would have ever considered to happen to El-Palacio on any day but today was not like most days it was a special day today the El-Palacio members will not be facing each other's but rather challengers from Girmov the company whom they hijacked last Friday.
As the crowd took their seats three certain women took had seats in front of the ring "Hmm this's going to be fun NOT!" Queen Elizabeth said as Hornet and Fiona shared a laugh.
Sitting across from them was Azumi who simply looked at the poster featuring the Wrestlers who'll be competing focusing on the main event Queen Bee and Ouka mostly on Ouka 'Can you prove yourself at long last Ouka?'
Inside the locker room Queen Bee was ready as she wore her attire looking at herself in the mirror before breathing and out 'Aright Dawn this's it let's go with a boom instead of a spark.'
The door was knocked as the girls allowed the knocker in being Ouka also dressed in her attire being a black leather top with a zipper, a black/red leather pair of shorts, a white collar, black boots that reach above her knees and one black fingerless glove on her left hand "Hey you guys alright there?"
"Yeah we're fine thanks for asking" Sakura replied smiling.
"You come" Ouka ordered Bee who nodded the two went inside a corridor ensuring no one else followed them Ouka shot Bee with a gaze "So what's the secret I'm supposed to hold against you?"
Bee smiled "I'm glad you understood what I was going for as for the secret it's about a little girl with a boring story do want to hear it?"
"Yeah we made it this far what's up with the girl? What's her name?"
"Her name is Dawn Breaker."
*The late tonight show with PJ Black*
A Chibi version of PJ Black sat inside his cartoonish looking studio as he greeted the readers "Hello there everyone thanks for your support of me to get more screen time event though it's to interview the characters me doing the interviews still counts as me appearing and having more screen time ahem anyways today's guest is an early OC by Awesome ax10 and she became a favourite please welcome Charlie 'The Hitgirl' Hart."
The crowd cheered as the lights shined on the walking Chibi Charlie as she finally took her seat before Chibi PJ "Well I didn't expect to get my turn this early but then again that's what happens for being a popular oc."
"Indeed alright I believe you know the drill questions of professional and personnel types the latter of which from Epiclot 214, ready?"
"Yeah bring it."
"Alright how long have you been Wrestling?"
"If this counts training then I was training since 15 and I debuted at 16 so three years at best."
"Do you have any dream opponents?"
"Plenty but if I had to choose a specific one I'll go with Tigress the great."
"What's the toughest match you had so far?"
"The one with Kris Howell she played me like a fiddle I was so ashamed I did a 50 squats as punishment."
Chibi PJ gulped at this before snapping himself back "What do you do for fun?"
"Watching Wrestling matches and learning from them, playing video games and hanging out with friends like Carly and May."
"What do you think makes a great Wrestler?"
"A good work ethic, the ability to have great matches with both the best and the worst opponent's you get thrown at you and being professional."
"Do you have any interests besides Wrestling?"
"Well long distance running and movies."
"Alright now to Epiclot's 214 questions, What is it like being the latest Wrestler of the Hart family?"
"Well it does give you a lot of privileges but it also tough especially since you have the eyes of hardcore fans on you all the time along with that of the dungeon's trainers and graduates."
"Why were you interested in tearing down GWM to make a name for yourself?"
"Well the monopoly was the ultimate force of evil during their reign and I thought that by tearing them down I would finally be able to prove myself more than worthy of both my name and my blood."
"Alright then who were you going to take them down?"
"By recruiting face women in my side like the Candy pair and working closely with Tiger Mask."
"Well as we now know this won't happen so what are your goals now?"
"Become the best Wrestler I could be by any means necessary."
