Gigantamax Alcremie
As Lincoln heads through the Soothing Wetlands, he sees Lana with her new Tangela, battling a Quagsire.
"Okay, Tangela! Use Mega Drain!" said Lana. Tangela releases a stream of green energy which hits the Quagsire, draining it of a lot of its energy, and knocking it out. "Good work, Tangela!"
"Thanks, Lana." said Tangela. A tone comes from her Rotom Phone, making her pull it out and look at what's on it.
"This says you just learned a move called Vine Whip." said Lana.
"Yes! A new attack!" said Tangela. As Lana looks around for another opponent for Tangela, he sees Lincoln watching her.
"Hey, Lincoln!" said Lana as she runs over to him with Tangela following after her.
"Hi, Lana." said Lincoln. He looks at Lana's new Tangela. "You got a new Pokemon?"
"Yeah." said Lana. She tells Lincoln how she caught him, and all the moves he knows.
"That's awesome!" said Lincoln, making Lana smile.
"So, what are you up to, Lincoln?" asked Lana.
"I found enough Max Mushrooms to make Max Soup with." said Lincoln. "I'm heading over to the Master Dojo to get some made for Alcremie."
"Can I come with?" asked Lana.
"I don't see why not." said Lincoln. Lana returns her Tangela to his pokeball, and she and Lincoln start heading towards the Master Dojo. They soon reach the front doors and were about to head in before they hear Lola calling out to them.
"Hey!" said Lola.
"Hi, Lola." said Lana.
"What are you two doing here?" asked Lola. Lincoln tells her about his intention to give his Alcremie some Max Soup.
"So, have you been training your Pokemon?" asked Lincoln.
"Or have you been digging for more pearls?" asked Lana as she notices Lola's sand-speckled gloves.
"I've been doing both." said Lola in a defensive manner. "My Pokemon have gotten a little stronger. My Cinccino didn't learn anything, but my Cherrim learned Leech Seed, my Ribombee learned Struggle Bug, my Vulpix learned Confuse Ray, and Aurora Beam; my Brionne learned Bubblebeam, and my Eevee learned Baby-Doll Eyes."
"Oh, that's good." said Lincoln. Lincoln and the twins enter the Master Dojo and see Master Mustard and Ms. Honey talking to each other. They turn towards the Louds when they hear them entering.
"Hello, kids." said Master Mustard.
"Hello, sir." said Lincoln.
"What brings you kids here?" asked Master Mustard. Lincoln reaches into his backpack and pulls out the Max Mushrooms he obtained in the Forest of Focus.
"Can I get some Max Soup made for my Alcremie, please?" asked Lincoln.
"Of course." said Ms Honey as she takes the Max Mushrooms from Lincoln and goes into the kitchen with them. Fifteen minutes later, she comes out with a large bowl of Max Soup and hands it to Lincoln.
"Thanks, Ms Honey." said Lincoln. He then releases his Alcremie from her pokeball, while struggling to restrain the twins, and hands her the Max Soup.
"What's this for, Lincoln?" asked Alcremie.
"That stuff will give you the ability to Gigantamax if you drink it." explained Lincoln. Alcremie looks at the bowl for a few seconds before drinking every drop of its contents. Once she was finished, Lincoln quickly returns her to her pokeball before the twins could lick her.
"Hey!" the twins responded.
"Thanks, Ms Honey." said Lincoln.
"You're welcome, Lincoln." said Ms Honey. They talk about what their group's been up to since they last saw each other, including their victories at Turffield Stadium before leaving. Once outside, Lincoln thinks back to Lucy's battle with Bede.
'If Bede's Pokemon are all psychic types, then I'll want a Pokemon that can easily handle them if we meet up somewhere on the road.' Lincoln looks at his Rotom Phone's Pokemon Storage Box and decides to switch his Alolan Sandshrew for his Zorua.
"What are you doing?" asked Lana.
"I'm gonna keep Zorua with me in case we run into that Bede jerk while we're travelling." said Lincoln. "He seems to use mainly psychic types, so a dark type would easily have an advantage."
"I hope you mop the floor with that meanie, Lincoln." said Lola.
"I intend to." said Lincoln. He looks up his new Zorua's information on his Rotom Phone. His new Zorua is a boy, he knows Scratch, Leer, Torment, Hone Claws, and Fury Swipes; and he has the Illusion ability which turns him into a Pokemon he has with him. Before Lincoln started training him, he notices a Pokemon Den that had a light coming out of it.
"What's in there?" asked Lana.
"Let's go see." said Lincoln. They all head to the den and enter it. They look around and quickly spot a Dynamaxed Torpeko.
"It's a Torpeko." said Lana.
"Just like the one that Marnie girl has." said Lola. Lincoln looks at Morpeko's information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says that Morpeko is part dark type, so Alcremie should have an advantage over it." said Lincoln.
"Yeah! Use Alcremie!" said Lola.
"We can see what her Gigantamax form is like!" said Lola.
"Hey, yeah!" said Lincoln. He throws Alcremie's pokeball and releases her from it. He then returns her before the twins could start licking her. He then uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge Alcremie's pokeball and then throws it, releasing her in her Gigantamax form. They all look at Alcremie with awestruck looks on their faces.
"That's Alcremie's Gigantamax form?!" said the Louds. They see that Alcremie now looked like a large, five-tiered cake. The bottom layer had light orange frosting with yellow and orange stars on it; the second layer was pink and had a design that looked like a purple ribbon was wrapped around it and on the bow was a green clover design, the third layer had blue frosting with orange flowers on it, along with what looked like an arch made of berries, the fourth layer had pink frosting, along with pink hearts on it, and the top layer was Alcremie and she was wearing a blue ribbon around her waist.
"It's the cake of my dreams!" said Lola as she and Lana were drooling. Lincoln got over his awe and focused his attention back on the Dynamax Morpeko.
"Okay, Alcremie! Let's try your G-Max Move!" said Lincoln.
"Ready when you are!" said Gigantamax Alcremie.
"Use G-Max Finale!" said Lincoln. Gigantamax Alcremie summons three glowing globs of frosting from the sky, and they fall on the Dynamax Morpeko. A pink and blue swirl of energy rises up from the ground beneath it, sending frosting scattering all over, and doing super effective damage. It was too much for the Dynamax Morpeko to handle and its energy explodes, paralyzing it in place. Seeing this, Lincoln takes an empty pokeball from his pocket and uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it and throws it at the Morpeko, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking, indicating a successful capture.
"You did it, Linky!" said Lola. Lincoln smiles and his new Morpeko's pokeball disappears. Lincoln looks at his new Morpeko's information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says my new Morpeko is a boy, he knows Thundershock, Tail Whip, Leer, Power Trip, Quick Attack, Flatter, and Bite. He has the Hunger Switch ability which changes his forms in battle between Full Belly Mode, or Hangry Mode." said Lincoln. As he puts his Rotom Phone away, he notices the twins weren't near him. As he looks for them, Alcremie gets his attention.
"Lincoln. If you're looking for your sisters..." Gigantamax Alcremie started to say as she gestures towards the bottom of her body. Lincoln looks and sees Lana and Lola eating the bottom layer of Gigantamax Alcremie.
"This...is...so...delicious!" said Lola between bites.
"Yeah!" said Lana as she took a large bite. A few minutes later, the twins were lying on the ground, patting their bellies.
"That was so good." said Lola with a look of content on her face.
"I'm full for the rest of the day." said Lana before letting out a belch.
"I'm too full to respond to that." said Lola. Lincoln returns his Alcremie to her pokeball and they all exit the den. Once outside, they see the rest of their group was there.
"Hey, dudes." said Luna.
"Hey, everyone." said Lincoln. The group notice that Lola and Lana were lying on the ground with frosting on their lips.
"What's with them?" asked Ronnie Anne. Lincoln told them about his Alcremie's Gigantamax Form and how the twins reacted to it.
"A cake the size of a house?!" replied Clyde.
"Yeah." said Lincoln. He walks over to Lola and picks her up, while Luna picks up Lana.
"Let's set up a tent for the twins and let them rest for a while." said Luna.
"Good idea." said Lincoln. Once they do so, they all talk about their progress with their Pokemon.
"So when are you gonna train your Zorua?" asked Clyde.
"Once the twins are up and about." said Lincoln.
"I hope you mop the floor with that Bede person next time we see him." said Luna.
"Totes." said Leni.
"I will." said Lincoln. He and the twins got a taste of Alcremie's Gigantamax Form, the twins in more ways than one. What will the group do as their journey continues?
