More Evolutions
After the group finished riding across the bridge on their Rotom Bikes, they do some warm-up training before they arrive in Hulbury.
Lincoln's Raboot learned grew stronger, his Gyarados learned Rain Dance, his Lucario learned Quick Guard, his Alcremie learned Acid Armor (when the twins weren't trying to lick her), his Leafeon learned Synthesis, and his Zorua learned Fake Tears. Also, Zorau did something else; he started to glow.
"Check it out!" said Luna. "Zorua's evolving!" Sam wanted to get a close look at the evolution, considering she never saw one before. Everyone watched as Zorua started to change before their eyes, while Sam watching with awe in her eyes. When it was done, Zorua was standing on two legs, his arms and legs were longer with sharp claws at the end of them, his muzzle was longer and pointed, and going down on his back was a thick mane of spiky, black-tipped, red fur, that was tied into a pointy tail near the end of it with a blue bangle.
"That is so cool!" said Sam. Lincoln takes out his Rotom Phone, and points it at his newly evolved Zorua.
"Zoroark, the Illusion Fox Pokemon, and the evolved form of Zorua. Seeking to ease the burden of their solitude, lonely Trainers tell Zoroark to show illusions to them." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"That Pokemon looks dangerous." said Lola.
"I like him." said Lucy.
"That bangle on its pony tail, totes, doesn't go with his fur." said Leni. Lincoln looks at more information on Zoroark.
"This says he learned Night Slash after evolving." said Lincoln.
Clyde's Kirlia learned Charm, his Liepard learned Sucker Punch, his Ivysaur learned Synthesis and Worry Seed, and his Torracat and Eevee got a bit stronger. During the training, Ivysaur began to glow.
"Hey, Ivysaur's evolving!" said Clyde. Everyone saw Ivysaur growing. When he stopped glowing, Ivysaur was bigger, wider, his leaf fronds were bigger, and he had a large pink flower with white spots on his back. "Whoa." Clyde takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his newly evolved Ivysaur.
"Venusaur, the Seed Pokemon and the final form of Bulbasaur. A bewitching aroma wafts from its flower. The fragrance becalms those engaged in a battle." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"Congratulations, Clyde." said Lincoln.
"And according to my Rotom Phone, Venusaur learned Petal Blizzard upon evolving." said Clyde.
Leni's Kirlia also learned Charm, her Tsareena got stronger, her Vulpix Flamethrower, her Buneary learned Headbutt, and her Dedenne and Eevee got stronger. Also during the training, Buneary began glowing.
"Whoa! Three evolutions in one day!" said Lana. Everyone watches Buneary start to change. When she was done, they see that Buneary was taller, her ears were longer and covered mostly in pink fluffy fur, her arms and legs were longer; with her lower legs being pink, and thick rings of pink fur around her wrists, and her muzzle was slightly longer as well.
"She..is..so..BEAUTIFUL!" said Lola with adoration in her eyes. Leni takes out her Rotom Phone, and points it at her newly evolved Buneary.
"Lopunny, the Rabbit Pokemon, and the evolved form of Buneary. Once hot seasons are over, Lopunny's coat will be replaced with fur that holds a lot of insulating air in preparation for colder weather." said Leni's Rotom Phone.
"She really is beautiful." said Leni. She and Lola weren't the only ones who thought that. Raboot was staring at Lopunny with a large blush on his face, and hearts in his eyes. He looks around and sees some flowers nearby, making him run over to them, and makes a quick bouquet. He then runs over to Lopunny and holds them out to her.
"Will you go out with me?!" asked Raboot with hope in his eyes. Lopunny looks at Raboot with a blush on her face. Deciding to have a little fun with him, she bends down closer to him, and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek, making Raboot's face turn completely red, with steam coming out of his head; a few seconds later, he faints with a big smile on his face.
"Looks like someone has a crush on you, Lopunny." said Leni with a smirk, making Lopunny chuckle. After that little scene, everyone continued training.
All of Lucy's Pokemon just got a little stronger
Lana's Salazzle and Herdier got stronger, her Silicobra learned Dig, her Trubbish learned Toxic, and her Tangrowth learned Knock Off.
Luna's Pokemon all got a bit stronger, as did Sam's. Although Sam's Espurr didn't learn new moves, she did do something else. She froze up and started to glow.
"Hey! My Espurr's evolving now!" said Sam. Everyone watches as Espurr started to change before their eyes. When she was done, her body was mostly white, her ears were longer, pointed, and were sticking up; her arms and legs were longer, her hands, legs, and a curl of hair on her head were navy blue, and she had two fluffy tails that were navy blue at the base of them. Sam takes out her Rotom Phone, and points it at her newly evolved Espurr.
"Meowstic, the Constraint Pokemon, and the evolved form of Espurr. If it doesn't hold back when it unleashes its psychic power, it can tear apart a tanker. Its unfriendliness is part of its charm." said Sam's Rotom Phone.
"This says that my Meowstic now knows Magical Leaf, Charge Beam, Stored Power, and Sucker Punch." said Sam.
"That's a good variety of moves there." said Lincoln.
Lola's Cinncino, Brionne, and Cherrim all got stronger, her Alolan Vulpix learned Ice Beam, and her Ribombee learned Aromatherapy. During her Eevee's training, she suddenly started to glow.
"Hey! My Eevee's evolving!" said Lola.
"But she didn't need a special stone like Lincoln's did." said Lana. Everyone watches as Lola's Eevee changes before their eyes. When she was finished, Lola was amazed by what she looked like. Her body was long and sleek, she had pale pink fur, she had sky blue eyes, her ears were longer and a dark shade of pink, as were her feet and tail, and around her neck and on her left ear were pale pink ribbons that were tied into bows, and were light blue, navy blue, and dark pink at the ends of them.
"She's...beautiful." said Lola who was stunned by her Eevee's new appearance. She continues to stare at her as she takes out her Rotom Phone, and points it at her newly evolved Eevee.
"Sylveon, the Intertwining Pokemon, and the evolved form of Eevee. There's a Galarian fairy tale that describes a beautiful Sylveon vanquishing a dreadful dragon Pokémon." said Lola's Rotom Phone.
"O-M-GOSH! SHE REALLY IS BEAUTIFUL!" said Leni. Lola walks over to her new Sylveon and stares into her eyes. Sylveon moves closer to Lola and starts nuzzling her cheek. Lola's eyes tear up as she hugs Sylveon. Everyone else tears up at the sight, even Lucy.
"That is so adorable." said Sam. Lincoln looks up Sylveon's new information on his Rotom Phone.
"This says she learned Disarming Voice after evolving, and that she also knows Swift, Light Screen, and Draining Kiss. She also has the Cute Charm ability also." said Lincoln.
"I believe the Cute Charm part." said Lola as she continues to hug her new Sylveon." said Lola.
Ronnie Anne's Wartortle learned Aqua Tail, her Rockruff learned Roar, her Foongus learned Ingrain, her Eevee learned Swift, and her Larvesta and Luxio got a little stronger. Along with Luxio's increase in power, he also started to evolve.
"Another evolution?!" says Lincoln.
"Why are we getting so many evolutions today?" asked Clyde.
"Who knows?" asked Lola as she and the others watched Luxio start to change. When it was over, Luxio was bigger, his body was almost completely covered in spiky, black fur, except his face, belly, back of his front legs, and part of his back legs. Also, he had red and yellow eyes.
"That Pokemon looks tough." said Lincoln as Ronnie Anne takes out her Rotom Phone, and points it at her newly evolved Pokemon.
"Luxray, the Gleam Eyes Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Shinx. Seeing through solid objects uses up a lot of Luxray's electricity, so the Pokémon sleeps for long periods of time to store up energy." said Ronnie Anne's Rotom Phone.
"That is so cool!" said Ronnie Anne. Her stomach suddenly starts to growl, making Lincoln look up at the sky, and sees it was starting to get dark.
"I think it's getting close to dinner." said Lincoln. They all decide to set up camp for tonight, figuring the gym was gonna be closed by now. Once they did, they all make dinner for themselves. While they were eating, a bright flash of light appears nearby.
"What was that?" asked Luna. They all check out where the flash was and see a blue backpack, along with a blue electric guitar.
"I think this is my stuff." said Sam as she walks over to her guitar, and picks it up along with her backpack.
"Your fam must've sent it over." said Luna. Just then, Lincoln's Rotom Phone rings. He looks at it and sees his mom's name on the Caller ID. He turns on video chat to see the Loud family members who are still in Royal Woods, Clyde's dads, Bobby and Maria Santiago, and a small blonde boy, wearing a green vest over a white T-shirt with black stripes, dark green jeans, and red and white sneakers.
"Hey, Simon." said Sam.
"Hi, sis." said the boy now revealed to be Sam's little brother, Simon.
"What are you doing there?" asked Sam.
"Luna's parents told me, Mom, and Dad about you being there in that Galar Region place; so they sent me here with some of your stuff, and Lisa used that Teleportation Pad thing to send it there." said Simon.
"Thanks, little bro." said Sam. "Were the 'rents mad about me being here?"
"They were freaking out." said Simon. "Then Luna's mom and dad explained that it wasn't by your choice to be there."
"Oh, okay then." said Sam.
"So what's it like there?" asked Simon.
"I haven't seen much of this place, but I've seen a lot of Pokemon." replied Sam. "Check out mine. Hey, Linc, show my Meowstic and Toxel." Lincoln points his Rotom Phone at Sam's Pokemon.
"Cool!" said Simon. Lincoln then showed Simon all the Pokemon they have. They also show their families their new Rotom Bikes and demonstrate their turbo boosts, much to Lynn Jr's amazement.
"I want one of those bikes!" said Lynn Jr. "I'd be unbeatable in races with one of those bad boys!"
"Once we find a way to get back home, we'll bring our bikes with and let Lisa study one of them; maybe she can reverse engineer it and make you one like it." suggested Lincoln.
"Thanks, bro." said Lynn Jr. After that, the group says goodbye and hangs up. After they finished eating, they clean the dishes and put them away; after that, they begin setting up their tents. While most everyone was settled into their sleeping bags, Ronnie Anne was looking up at the starry night sky.
"Can't sleep?" Lucy says from behind Ronnie Anne, scaring her.
"Stop doing that!" said Ronnie Anne.
"I can't promise that." said Lucy. "What's on your mind?"
"Just thinking about all the cool stuff that's happened since we've been here." said Ronnie Anne.
"Yes, it's been quite an adventure so far." said Lucy. She hears rustling coming from the bushes. She sees a tall, cyan Pokemon with a black tail with two eyes on it walking out. Lucy points her Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Wobbuffet, the Patient Pokemon. To keep its pitch-black tail hidden, it lives quietly in the darkness. It is never first to attack." said Lucy's Rotom Phone. Lucy pulls out a pokeball.
"If it likes to live in the dark, then I would like to capture it." said Lucy. "Eevee, go." She throws Eevee's pokeball and releases her. "Eevee, Tail Whip." Eevee runs at Wobbuffet and wags her tail into it, weakening its defense. Wobbuffet rubs its head with its arm and its defense increases. "Quick Attack." Eevee runs at Wobbuffet with incredible speed and rams it. Wobbuffet suddenly glows orange and Eevee gets knocked back. "What was that?" Eevee struggles to get up.
"Rockruff, use Bite!" said Ronnie Anne. Her Rockruff suddenly comes out of nowhere, and bites down on Wobbuffet's torso, making it flinch.
"Thank you." said Lucy. She then looks to Wobbuffet recovering from the damage it just took. "Hurry, Eevee; use Tackle." Eevee charges at the Wobbuffet, and rams its chest, knocking it onto its back. Lucy quickly takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Wobbuffet. The pokeball hits it and sucks it in. After it wiggled around a few times, it clicks, indicating Wobbuffet's capture. "Success. Wobbuffet is mine." Her new Wobbuffet's pokeball suddenly disappears to storage.
"Woot, wooot! Good work, Lucy." said Ronnie Anne. Rockruff and Eevee both yipped in victory, then they both started to glow.
"Our Pokemon are evolving." said Lucy. Everyone else comes out of their tents after hearing the commotion. They watch as Rockruff and Lucy's Eevee start to change. When they finshed, Lucy's Eevee's body was longer, completely black, except for yellow circles on the sides of her legs, around her ears, on her forehead, and tail which was smoother. Lucy takes out her Rotom Phone and points it at her newly evolved Eevee.
"Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokemon, and the evolved form of Eevee. On the night of a full moon, or when it gets excited, the ring patterns on its body glow yellow." said Lucy's Rotom Phone.
"Wicked." said Lucy. "And this says Umbreon learned Snarl after evolving, and she has the Synchronize ability like Leni's Kirlia has." Everyone looks at Ronnie Anne's Rockruff and sees she was standing on two legs, she was taller, and her fur was red and white, and a thick mane of white fur was stretching out of her back and over her head, plus it was black-tipped; and also her eyes were glowing red.
"Whoa." said Ronnie Anne as she takes out her Rotom Phone, and points it at her newly evolved Rockruff.
"Lycanroc Midnight Form, the Wolf Pokemon, and the evolved form of Rockruff. It's invigorated by powerful opponents—the stronger the better. A full-force headbutt from one of these Lycanroc can shatter giant boulders." said Ronnie Anne's Rotom Phone.
"She sounds like she'd love a good fight." said Ronnie Anne. "And this says she learned Counter after evolving."
"Man, we've gotten a lot of evolutions today." said Clyde. After the excitement died down, everyone, including Ronnie Anne and Lucy, went to sleep. The next morning, after everyone had breakfast, cleaned their dishes, and packed up their camp; they get on their Rotom Bikes, and pedal down until they reach a small tunnel. They head down it and come out the other side to see they finally reached their destination: Hulbury.
