Not much to say with this one, other than the last chapter came out more rushed than I would have liked, but lucky this time around I was able to spend more time polishing things. I was watching the second movie and noticed that they threw in a cop-out when it came to the second Chimera vs. class 1-A fight which was that apparently, Asui's toxic mucus can paralyse people given enough or exposure, it doesn't say but it doesn't matter which it is as she's never stated or implied that it worked like that, she always mentioned that it stung-that's all. Even in later arcs like Joint training, they don't add any sort of recon. I can ignore the fact that Slice was buried in rubble and Chimera was frozen from the inside out with neither dying since we've seen characters survive similar if not worse injuries in this universe, this is the same universe where Bakugo fired a building levelling blast at Midoriya in their first class and aside from a few burns, Izuku was fine. Anywho, please enjoy.

Chapter 11: Baptism by Tragedy.

"There's no end to them," Midoriya huffed, turning a corner as she raced around, trying to find people in need or villains to fight, the latter being more common as it seemed like they were pouring out of every crack and crevice there was. As she stopped to try and figure out where to go, left or right, she was hit with a blast of water which her back onto her ass. Thinking quickly, she rolled out of it and got up, seeing that there were 6 more villains, all of whom were larger than her.

"Is she the one?" One asked another, all of them keeping their eyes on her as they slowly moved to surround her, with Midoriya doing her best to keep them in her field of vision and her ears open for any funny business.

"Yeah, remember, we need her alive." The tallest of them responded, having gotten their orders from Shigaraki, though it would have been nice if he had bothered to tell them why he wanted her but he wasn't dumb enough to question him. Hearing this, Midoriya ground her teeth and squared up, before immediately turning on her heel and rushing the one behind her.

"Out of my way!" She didn't pay his surprised face any attention, only aiming for it with a clean right hook which she followed left jab for his chest, knocking back as she jumped to the side, avoiding t d he rock covered counter from another of the villains. Despite her strength, Rappa had been clear that someone of her stature should make good use of their size and speed which she took to heart, dodging blows and striking with single strikes or 3 hit combos when she could. She also didn't care for any sense of formality or honour as when she leaned to the side to avoid a strike from a metal bat coming down, she countered by hooking the bat to her side, jabbing the man in the throat before ripping the weapon out of his weakened grip and smashing it across the side of his head.

With his body dropping with what must have been a bad concussion, she used the stolen weapon as her own, blocking some strikes with it from the stone feller from before whom she had been avoiding, knowing that she needed to handle them quickly, she rushed him, readying to strike him over the head with the bat with the villain pulling his fist back to strike her. He seemed confident that her metal bat wouldn't be enough to hurt him, or that the hit wouldn't be worth much if he could hit her. She agreed with this assessment and at the last possible moment, dropped to her knees and with as much force as she could muster, she thrust the bat right for his groin.

As she had expected, it wasn't nearly as armoured as the rest of him all the blood left his face as the man's transformation dropped as he fell to his knees, holding his bruised and probably in need of medical attention junk but she gave him some mercy as instead of leaving him to experience the man of his balls being struck, she backhanded him across the face, sending teeth flying as he fell over, down for the count as she quickly rose back to her feet to continue the fight.

Seeing two of their number go down, the remaining 4 kept the attack going with greater ferocity as this girl wouldn't be an easy mark. "What the hell, how is she this strong?!" One of them with clawed hands yelled as she blocked his strike with the bat, however, when she tried to pull back, she found that she couldn't. the villain smirked as he gripped the weapon harder, causing the metal to creak and moan as it bent in his grip. Forced to abandon it, she jumped back and fell for one of their traps. As soon as her foot stepped into a paddle of water, it instantly climbed up her leg to her shin, immobilizing her.

It only lasted a couple of seconds, but it was enough as once she broke free of it, she was caught by the water villain that had opened the attack, whose arms turned into water and trapped her upper body and arms. "I got her, shit that was hard." She struggled against him, proving stronger than she looked as he strained to hold her in place as he looked to another of their number. "Quick, call it in."

"Got it." The villain replied, reaching for an earpiece to contact their warp gate user. As he did that, the other two talked about the captured girl as one of them walked up to her, looking her head to toe in a way that made her feel both disgusted and angry which only made her efforts to escape more intense.

Not caring for this, the villain made his observations known, leaning his head to the side of the other one whose clawed hands turned back to normal. "Petty one, isn't she? Why does the boss want her anyway? He has that much trouble getting a date."

"I don't know, probably hold her for ransom." The other gave a flippant response. He didn't care so long as they got the job done. For Midoriya, this might have been the second worst thing they could have said while she could still hear. If she hated just 2 things in this world, the idea of being held captive again, held like a doll, robbed of her freedom and autonomy was the second biggest trigger for her.

"No," Her breath rose, but so did her survival instant as seeing the hand coming to her face, she didn't see the villains, she didn't hear the battle still raging around them. All she saw was Kai. "NO!" Midoriya screamed as she did the only thing that she could in the situation, when the hand got close enough, she shot her head forward and bit down on the fingers, she wasn't able to get all of them into her jaws, or even the entire fingers, but that didn't matter as she bit down as hard as she could, cutting through the muscle and bones like they were sticks and bacon.

"Fucking hell!" The villain screamed in pain, jumping back while holding his bloodied appendage, the sight of someone-nevermind a hero student doing something so brutal was enough of a shock that the villain holding her loosened his grip on her. Enough for her to notice and make him regret as she broke free of their watery bonds before turning around and clocking him with a strike left to the chest, he could hear his ribs shatter on impact while Midoriya allowed the sound of his bones breaking to soothe her soul.

"Wha-!" Was all he managed to get out before he was blasted across the place, bouncing like a ragdoll. the last thing he saw was her acidic green eyes burning him with how much unstable power they seemed to hold.

"Ohgi!" The one making the call, who had seen all of this, called out in shock at seeing their captor expect to go down like a sack or rocks as he growled, his arms turning to steel as he attacked the bitch. "Dammit, knock her out!" The other yelled, partly out of anger, partly out of pain as they turned just one hand into a claw and rushed her as she turned to meet them, her acidic pool-like eyes holding nothing but malice, amused and cruel.

Somewhere else, Aizawa was dealing with his problems. He and Ms. Joke might have entered the fray at the same time from the same spot, but they separated early on as they wished to find their students, who before the attack happened, were largely separated. 'This attack,' Dodging a strike from a villain that looked like a cross between a giraffe and a hippo, he leapt over her, wrapping her in his capture scarp before swinging her into another group, relieving the pressure on a group of students at the same time.

Spotting a shooter in the distance, he quickly erased their quirk with a glance before jumping to hide behind a villain trying to sneak up behind him. Kicking the back of their knee, the stone golem-like villain cried out in surprise and pain from his strike which he followed up with a heavy chop to the back of their neck, knocking them out before he had to rush away. He would have wished to restrain them, having learned the hard way in the U.S.J. that just knocking them out could come back to bite them, but he didn't have time or the tools for that.

'There is a logic to this madness, keeping the teachers busy, attacking in groups.' Even with so much happening, he was still able to pick up patterns to the battles, mainly that teachers were being kept from students and close to none of them fought by themselves, teacher or student, they worked and fought in groups, such as the ones handling him as he spotted a large Oni like villain pick up a car and car-sized piece of debris and throw it at him. Thinking quickly, he rushed the incoming projectile, jumping onto it before it could hit it he ran over it and jumped higher into the air, ignoring the impact of the rock that could have easily killed him.

Still in the air, he came down on the oni with a kick, knocking them on their back as he front-flipped over them, wrapping them in his capture scarf. Once his feet touched the ground, he pulled the massive villain that must have weighed 5 times what he did, using their body as a human wrecking ball, taking out as many of the villains around him as he could before he tossed the oni towards where the shooter was. He heard a curse and a crash, but couldn't confirm if his sniper was dealt with as more villains faced him to replace the ones he had just taken out, all of which were mutants, all practically immune to his quirk.

Thanking the fact that he upped his training in the aftermath of the U.S.J. for the fact he wasn't as winded as he normally would be, he still gripped his scarf tight as his googled-covered eyes appraised the situation. 'Using mainly mutants to fight me, the league has learned since the U.S.J. but what could they want with this? What do they hope to gain from this slaughter?' He tried to figure out what they could try and gain from this blood-letting and pain as the villains rushed him, using their numbers and his situational quirklessness against him as he was forced on the defensive, evading rather than attacking.

Flipping over a villain with 8 arms, he quickly wrapped 4 of their arms together before in a flash, drawing his knife and slashing all of them. Not deep enough to put the bone, but enough to render them useful as he released his hold on them the villain dropped to his knees in pain, half his arms all but useless as Aizawa landed on his feet, giving no time to breathe as he dodged a straight kick aimed at his head by a horse looking villain who he twisted to meet, trapping their led and bringing down his elbow on their knee. He wore no elbow protection and winced from the strike but it was worth it as the attack at the desired effect as the villain's knee gave way, bent backwards as he let go and rolled to avoid a 3rd attack.

Back to his thoughts, he concluded that there was no higher purpose to be found, as while killing the students would decrease the pool of pros, he couldn't possibly see them having enough numbers to hit both exam locations. Even if they did, it wouldn't matter in the short and intermediate terms as there was an excess of pros. Taking out students before they could join that number wouldn't be nearly as effective as it would it would be to just attack the heroes.

However, there was another reason he could think one, one stemming from how the public reacted to Iida's death in Hosu, how they negatively responded to U.A.'s perceived-no, his failure to stop his student from going. "All they wish to do is spread carnage, and kill as many as they can." He glared at them as he came to the most reasonable conclusion he would. That this was as much an assault on their public trust as it was on the heroes themselves.

"I need to get to my students," Spotting the glint in the distance, he didn't hesitate as he dived for cover, mere moments after seeing it, the sniper fired and nearly killed him as the bullet made from ice flew through his hair, 10cm above his head as he rolled to a stop behind the remains of a wall. 'Dammit!' All he could do is pray that his students could last long enough for help to arrive.

"Boomerang Man!" Itejiro Toteki looked up right as his teacher jumped into the small space he and others had taken to hiding in, the woman looking far worse for wear than when he last saw her with her costume being torn, her gauntlets being bent and several scarps and bruises lining her arms and face. But she was alive which he'll take. "How bad are things?" She asked him, no humour to be found in her normally pleasant and jovial tone.

"Pretty bad, Ms. Joke. That Moonfish guy has been nothing but a walking force of nature since he got here. None of us can get close to him." He replied, with the sounds of steel-like teeth scarping, digging and cutting happening not far from them as another group tried to distract him as they caught their breath from their last attempt. An attempt they paid for as Ms. Joke's eyes pan over them and she sees out of the 13 people present, 4 of them are badly injured, leaving just two people to tend to them as one of Eraser's kids, Sero if she was remembering it right, was wrapping up Makabe's side, his costume bloodied.

Feeling her gaze on him, the stone-skinned student brushes it off with a wave. "It's not as bad as it looks, Ms. Joke. We can still fight." He winced as Sero tightened the tape, the younger student apologetic but Makabe gave him a nod to say he didn't mind it.

Despite his words, Ms. Joke was still sceptical about his condition, but she had to take him by it as at the moment, they needed people to defeat these villains and quickly, she had already seen far too many bodies on the way here. "What about ranged attacks, are they effective?"

Sero snorted, the woman getting a feeling he was glaring at the entrance of their hiding spot. "We tried, the bastard might be crazy but it's not stupid, and he's insanely quick at dodging or just using his quirk to block." He wished that it had been that simply as the only silver lining was the other villains were holding back as it was clear that this guy was a nutcase that would attack anything that moved.

"Then it's a good thing I'm here, even if he knows what my quirk is, it won't save him. Once I have him, take him down hard." Ms. Joke replied, getting affirming nods from both her students and Sero.

"Sure thing." Toteki stared.

"You got it, we need to stop him and go help everyone else." Another of the students present added as they started to form a quick strategy to handle the death row inmate.

Waving through smoke, keeping hold of each other, Yaoyorozu's group found that their progress was held back by the fact they couldn't even tell where the villain or villains were. Despite the fact they had people with them who needed protection, that didn't make it any less painful to hear shots ring out seemingly every 20 seconds. When another shot rang out, taunting them and their powerlessness, one of the students snapped. "Dammit, we should be going after that fucker, he's killed at least 20 people!"

"We can't, this gas is blocking our view, we can barely see our own hands!" Another reminded them, hence why they were holding hands like kindergarten brats going on a field trip.

Yaoyorozu, despite being a first-year, took charge to stop their in-fighting. "Our priority is getting these people out of here before he can find them." She reminded them, her eyes going to the terrified people with them, the few that she had managed to get gas masks to that were still awake. With the others, they had to choose to leave the bulk of them behind, hidden in spots where she hoped this shooter wouldn't find them. "If we must fight him, then we will."

While Yaoyorozu was better equipped to either handle or bury her emotions for the moment, her classmate wasn't so lucky as he kept twitching, his eyes trying to find where the shot came from, where the victim was as his sweat-covered face and quirk, harsh breathing getting worse with each. "He's…he's just…killing them, but," He seemed almost confused, but Momo couldn't fault him as she was equally as shocked and sickened by this tragic turn of events. That being said, they couldn't afford one of them falling apart.

After finding somewhere to hide and take stock of things, Yaoyorozu reached for the blonde Frenchman's hand, grasping tightly. "Aoyama, you gotta stay focused on the here and now. For their sakes, alright?"

It didn't look like he had internalised her words, but he heard them and at least tried to calm himself down, wiping away his seat with his cape as his arm was covered with his costume's plating."…R-right." As he looked up, he saw a glint in the smoke ahead of them, his eyes widened as he realized what it might be and he jumped a surprised Yaoyorozu. "Get down!" Not a moment too soon as a bullet went flying through where her chest would have been, instead harmlessly passing through his cape, saving her life but the lead found its mark in someone else, hitting someone in the arm.

"He got me!" The student cried, holding at his injured limb as more shots came, it the last one was a fluke, this was an assurance that the villain they had been avoiding had found them as with their next 5 shots, he managed to take 3 others with the 2nd being a fatal wound when the bullet tore through their throat. The group watched in horror as the student, built like a bear, fruitlessly tried to stem the bleeding as he fell to his knees and onto his front, his butt still in the air in an unfaltering death.

"Shit!" Another who was shot cursed, perhaps at the pain of the shot in their shoulder, perhaps at the body of a friend, perhaps it was some combination of the two. Aoyama didn't know, his attention was on his classmate whom he was still protectively on top of. Checking her over, he didn't see any wounds but still focused his terrified eyes on hers.

"Ça va bien, mademoiselle?!" Aoyama asked, not even realizing that he had switched to his mother tongue in his panic.

"I'm fine! Where did those shots come from?" Yaoyorozu replied, thanking the fact she could speak the language as the shorter boy got off her so that they could take stock of the situation. One of the H.U.C. agents noticed another glint in the gas and called it out.

"Our left!" The group didn't question this as they dived for cover, the not-so-distant sound of a gun firing followed by a bullet smacking against concrete.

"Wow, you can tell directions," An amused voice spoke from the could, their form covered up the purple toxic gas that seemed to be everywhere. "What an amazing skill, baby heroes." All of them felt their anger rising as they listened to this murderer make light of them.

"I wouldn't worry too much about the ones I haven't shot, at this point, it won't be much longer till the gas exposure becomes lethal." Yaoyorozu had feared that, but this meant that they had no choice but to fight them. She had noticed a while back that as the gas got thicker, the sounds of gunfire also got louder, which seemed to imply that the shooter was the source of the gas as well but hadn't mentioned it for fear of terrifying the H.U.C. agents and her fellow students because that same villain seemed to be blocking the only way out.

'No choice then,' The recommendation's student thought to herself, her resolve hardening as this wasn't a game, there were lives at stake and she wouldn't just stand by and let him harm anyone else. She won't lose another classmate to the whims of the League or any other villain. "Then we'll take you down." She called out, knowing that whoever their attacker was, he was close enough to attempt communication with them or mock them.

"Cute, but can you even find me?" She wished she could see the look on his face but she wasn't going to waste this moment by gloating. She remained silent as she reached for a mask, taking a deep breath and waving down the concerns of the others as she took it off before she created a new one with a special feature, infrared goggles.

Putting this altered gas mask on, she took a deep breath before turning on her new lenses, the world shifting from normal to shades of purple, green, and oranges. Among that, she managed to track a human-shaped orange and brown spot moving through the smoke, casually as if they had no fear of being caught. 'This might block out sight but you should still give off heat.' She didn't need to think about it, she reached for a chest and created something else, a bolt action rifle loaded with rubber bullets.

Aiming, she aimed for their centre mass as her shooting guides instructed. "This ends now!" Underestimating the amount of kick from the shot, she held the gun too loosely and the barrel jumped, missing the villain's chest but she did hit them in the shoulder.

Hissing in pain, the villain reached for his now bruised shoulder which he just knew would hurt worse later. "Crap! How'd you-Of course," He snapped his fingers, recalling that there was one student present that could pull something like this, literally. "It figures I get the heiress that can make anything. Made yourself some goggles to see through the smoke, did you?" He had watched the festival and seen the heiress of one of Japan's richest families perform. It had been subpar as he expected but with her quirk and money, of course, she got into fucking U.A.!

Focusing on their position, he felt out their body shapes and well not the best, he had enough experience and common sense to pick out which was the probable heiress. "Well, you're not the only one who can fight in this miasma? I can see your movements through the gas fluctuations, I could fight with my eyes closed in these conditions." He fired another shot which Yaoyorozu dodged, as she pulled back the bolt on her rifle, cursing her bad shot.

'Curses, even with these goggles, I'm not a good shot but he is.' She thought to herself as she lined up her next shot, but the villain seemed to figure out she was trying to fire back as he started moving erratically, making it impossible for her to get a clean shot. 'If he can see how he says he can, then it was wise I didn't make a cannon, he would pick up on something that large.' Her go-to in situations like this was out.

"Smart girl, but can you defend the others?" Avoiding her next shot, the villain asked in glee as he aimed not at her, but at someone else on the ground before firing, their lives only being saved by the small piece of debris that he didn't see in the smoke which deflected the bullet.

"We need to move, now!" someone yelled as the H.U.C. agents and students took cover, seeing that Yaoyorozu was struggling with this villain, Aoyama made a decision.

"Mademoiselle, can you direct me to him?" He asked her, with Yaoyorozu turning to him with what he could only assume was a sceptical eye.

"I can, but can't aim for him without leaving yourself open to." She could at least take cover with the rest and pop out to exchange shots, but Aoyama didn't have that luxury.

"It doesn't matter if it is or isn't, I need to do this." He replied, more steel in his voice than she had heard from him before. Taking a moment to think about it, she hoped she wasn't making the wrong choice as she pulled the bolt back again, cycling in her 6th round

Aiming down range, she saw that her target had taken cover as well, though she felt a snarl form as she made out the cooling bodies he had left in his wake. "He's at 4 o'clock and moving to 5!"

"Understood!" Aoyama jumped to his feet, onto their cover to give him a clear shot with his naval laser. He had never used it in such conditions but he wholeheartedly trusted Yaoyorozu as his classmate and class rep, so he aimed his torso towards that general area and fired.

Unlike Yaoyorozu's rubber bullets, his laser packed a bigger punch to it as it struck the villain's cover, destroying a good chunk of it and forcing it to move. "And the laser one too, man I lucked out with two U.A. brats. I hadn't found any of you yet." Aoyama kept his fear of the implications of that threat at bay with the silver lining that none of their classmates had fallen to this particular menace. He kept up the fire, hoping that it would keep the villain off balance.

"He's moving back to 4-no, 6!" Yaoyorozu called out new target info and he adjusted.

"Naval Saber!" He used a super move he had developed to try and tag this threat, but from what Yaoyorozu could tell, he was off but a third of a meter as the bright white light shot through her vision, with the villain falling on her butt there but before they got up and aimed for him.

"Cute." Aoyama didn't need someone to tell him that he should move as he jumped off the ledge to avoid the shot. However, he had chosen to jump to the wrong side and rush the villain, barely able to see and merely relying on Yaoyorozu's last report of his location.

"Aoyama!" Yaoyorozu cried out after him, wondering just what in the hell came over him, he was a ranged fighter, and this should be the last thing he should do!

Aoyama was thinking the same thing, but he had a plan, and he could only try it once. 'I just need to close the distance,' Even as he got shot in the arm, he didn't let it slow him down. 'I have to close the distance!'

"What, did you think you could charge in like the Terminator? You have no defence! Come on, you're from U.A., right? Have a little more brains." The villain told him, quickly reloading before firing again, this time hitting Aoyama, who had closed the distance enough to see the villain with his own eyes, in the gut.

Aoyama whimpered from the pain as the villain walked up to him, but he was used to it. his quirk had been giving him stomach pains similar to this piercing burning pain in his gut like this ever since he got it when he was 6. "It hurts, but I needed to close the distance," It was why he was able to power through it to concentrate and build up as much power as he could. "Because I can only try this once." He looked up at the villain, who could see that he was smiling under the mask as he forced himself to present his chest towards him and reveal that his naval laser was bursting with energy.

"Wha-!" The villain's eyes widened as he realized that the hero had done but it was too late.

"Plus Ultra!" Aoyama yelled his school's motto as he fired a naval blast right for the villain, hitting him dead centre the blast carried him back 20 meters, forcing the air out of his lungs and burning his clothes and chest, crashing into a damaged wall, the already compromised structure gave way but not before his breathing tank was destroyed, allowing his gas to enter the now open system. Landing on his back, the villain could barely move from the pain before his quirk proved to be the final nail in his coffin as he passed out.

With him down, the massive cloud of gas he had created started to rapidly dissipate, leaving Aoyama kneeling in pain and victory. "V…villain, defeated…" He stated, smiling before wincing as he fell over, the pain from both his wounds and his overuse of his quirk making themselves known.

"Aoyama!" Yaoyorozu was already on the move before the smoke cleared, rushing her fallen comrade as she ripped her gas mask and his off his face and started fretting over his injuries. "What were you thinking, he could have killed you!"

Despite the pain and the stupidity of his plan, he couldn't help himself as he smiled back at her, the sight of which caused a pause in his class rep. "Heroes…protect people, I couldn't stand aside and do nothing, I just couldn't." He felt his eyes getting heavy as Yaoyorozu went to work creating a first aid kit for him and starting to remove his costume to tend to his wounds.

"Idiot," Yaoyorozu might have wanted to come off as scolding and disapproving, but it was ruined by her teary-eyed smile as the rest left cover and made their way over, taking off their masks now that the immediate threat was handled. "Value your own life as well, that was what Eraser-sensei taught us, remember."

"If…if I get to spend time under your care, then it hurts a little less." Yaoyorozu looked at him like he grew a second head for a moment before trying to hide a chuckle with the back of her hand, though others didn't even bother as they took what humour that could get. Laughing as the sun started to shine on them again, letting Aoyama see how clear the sky was.

"You really need to stop spending time with Kaminari and Mineta, flirting isn't your strong suit," Yaoyorozu instructed him as she made additional supplies for the rest of them. They had lost people, they had been hurt and attacked when they least suspected it. but that had managed to survive and take out the root of the smoke. If the villains had opened up this battle.

It was time they started pushing them back.

"Everyone knows their role?" Ms. Joke asked the students. Seeing nothing but nods, she jumped out of the hiding spot, yelling to draw the villain's attention. "Good, now go!"

Seeing them come back into view, the flesh-obsessed villain screamed out bloody murder as his teeth shot out towards them, but the group managed to scatter, avoiding while Ms. Joke ran towards him, yelling out towards him. "Hey, why did the chicken cross the road?" Her quirk might not need it, but she had used jokes with it so often that it was just as part of it as anything. The villain seemed to be about to attack, but he spontaneously burst out in laughter making him miss her by a mile.

"See? What I tell y'all? It's such a classic that I don't even need to deliver the punch-line!" She chuckled as the villain tried to cope with the laughing fit he couldn't control as he aimed for her, only for him to be struck by a blast of energy from his side. Turning his uncontrollable laughing head towards it, he would smell fresh bodies even if his mask made it impossible to see them. Those 'fresh bodies' were students attacking him, having seen how Ms. Joke's quirk was screwing with him, allowing them greater freedom to strike.

Toteki was one of those students, eager to make this villain regret ever coming here and harming so many lives as he grabbed some loose rocks off the floor. They weren't ideal but they would do. "Let's see if we can't make you take a nap," The rocks started to glow brightly before he threw them towards the villain, but they all suddenly took hard right turns into the ground. "Boomerang: Crescent Moon Trajectory." Out of sight, Moonfish was unprepared for them coming out directly under him, one striking his leg hard enough to leave a serious welt, another his chest and the last clocking him right in the cheek.

Thoroughly pissed that his meals couldn't just stay still and let him cut them into pieces, he tried to aim for the one that had called out before those rocks hit him, but Ms. Joke intervened again, yelling out to him from a different spot. "Hey, what did the sea say to the beach?" She asked him, increasing the power and potency of her quirk on him as his laughter got so bad he was doubling over, barely able to keep himself in the air with his bladed teeth. "Nothing, it just waved!"

"There," Seeing another opening with his control over his body and quirk weakened, Sero flew in and wrapped his body up before tossing him into the air, catching the villain off guard as he felt his teeth close contact with the ground, leaving him for a moment, suspended in the air. "It won't hold him for long, but-" Sero muttered as he already saw his weird teeth growing larger, trying to find purchase again.

"It'll be enough, finish this, Tsukuyomi!" Makabe told Tokoyami, the boy having been filled in on the plan by the Ketsubutsu student.

"Understood," Not missing his chance, Tokoyami covered himself with his quirk, before increasing the power of his right claw. With the villain's teeth moments from touching the ground once more, he made his move as his right claw shot out like a ballista bolt. "Piercing Claw of the Dusk!" His ultimate landed as his claw, the size of Moonfish's entire body, slammed the villain into a ruined building, through it to the other side where he fell into a heap, most of his teeth broken.

"Is he?" Someone asked after seeing that brutal takedown.

"Don't think, confirm and restrain." Ms. Joke didn't let any time pass, urging them to finish this as she rushed to where the villain was, followed by others. Finding him, she kept her quirk active on him, even if his unwanted laughter was more pained than what should be normal. Seeing that he was already in a full-body restraint jacket, she couldn't use the pair of restraints she carried with her.

"What are we gonna do about his teeth?" Sero asked, wrapping the villain up nice and thick with his tape, leaving just enough space for his mouth to breathe as Tokoyami broke the remaining teeth using dark shadow.

"I'll harden your tape so he can't just cut through it." Stepping forward, the injured Makabe touched the wrapping, turning them soft tape-like bandages into hardened rock. Once the last of his teeth appendages were broken, Sero wrapped him up tightly with Makabe hardening it. leaving what appeared to be a white rock on the ground with a human trapped in it.

"And that nightmare-fueled battle is over…finally," Sero uttered as he fell on his ass, removing his helmet and combing a hand through his wet hair, his face sweaty from just how crazy things had been.

"What about the other villains?" Toteki, however, brought up a good point for as much as they all just wanted to rest after that battle, they still had threats.

"They retreated a while back. Seems that this one had no true allies among them," Tokoyami informed them, looking towards the restrained villain with mild discomfort. "Not that I can fault them. He's little more than a savage beast."

"Take stock of what injuries we have," Ms. Joke instructed them, pausing to take a breath, her earlier humour gone as she saw a bloodied hand in the corner, the rest of the body behind the ruined wall. "Also deaths. Once that's done, we can plan how to move on to help take down the rest of them." She would cry her heart out later about all the loss, but right now, she would take the fact she managed to help 8 of her students survive this hell-hole of an exam.

Next chapter will be out October 11th, but if you want to read it early, head on over to my p-a-t-r-e-o-n at p-a-t-r-e-o-n Ducksmakegreatminers, every cent counts and even if you join at the lowest tier, it will help me alot in improving this, and writing future stories like the one I'm working on now, one I posted the first chapter of last week and another should be out by tomorror for a different story.
