Hey HEY People! Georgia here!
For those just tuning in live, or the good ship-people just finding this thread for the first time in the future: WELCOME! To the first ever cross-class Submarine race! My name, as you may know, is GFV Georgia! USS Ohio-class nuclear Submarine, Abyssal Princess, and organizer of this race, alongside the fantastically dressed representative of the Abyssal Yacht Squadron: Commodore Tasman Knight!
Now some rules: first off, no hateful comments despite what you may think is fair or unfair. The race is designed specifically to reward a Submarine for Enginuity, Deviousness, and Ruthlessness. All traits valued by all of us under-botes! Moderators stand ready to deal with overly hateful comments.

Secondly, this thread is created almost entirely with the help and funding of the Abyssal Yacht Squadron, as well as separate members (Mostly Submarines) Who wish to remain anonymous.

Indeed, I, as the illustrious Princess Georgia has stated, am Tasman Knight, Commodore and President of the Abyssal yacht Squadron, and to make this... video, more than a droll free-for-all at the starting line, we have concocted a series of rules for the unique circumstances of this race. The contestants have already received the rules, but they shall be... tagged? Here, for our watcher's perusal.
. As there are many different classes of Submarines partaking, with hard and clear speed-advantages over others, the race winner shall be decided in a somewhat... non-traditional way.
. All racers shall start with ten points, and must complete the race within the time-limit to be eligible to win, the time limit is within the comfortable cruise speed of the slowest contestants. The winner is decided by the number of points they have remaining when they cross the finish line. Ties in regard to points shall be decided by order in which the boats arrived.
. A point shall be deducted every time you are discovered by anyone not partaking in this race.
. As there are multiple underwater cameras, blatant acts of sabotage against the other contestants are strictly... discouraged. One point shall be deducted from the racer's final score for every directly hostile act caught on camera by the recorders, who themselves will be directed by Hime-Georgia herself.
. Attempting to tamper with the cameras is allowed, but bear in mind that ships actually discovered doing so will be at the tender mercies of the Camera-Woman. I assure you, in such an instance, she has none.
. Using the terrain to your advantage is heavily encouraged, as the track crosses several reefs, trenches, and seaweed beds, as well as crossing two known Kanmusu Destroyer patrol routes.
.Sunk contestants, by participating in this race, agree to relinquish any salvage rights to their corpse to Cup Title Sponsor GVF Georgia.

I think I know those two, they were with the Night-Strait Princess's fleet for a while, hated each other's guts.

Lol, if you are willing to sacrifice a point and hurt your chance to win you can just blatantly shoot at each other.

Nah, the only boat forced out of the running so far since you left was that So-class that was forced to the surface by those sea-mines.
Honestly, hiding them in the seaweed-forest is just EVIL.

Excuse me? I'll have you know Abyssal sea mines went through extensive R&D to reach that state.
They home-in on disturbances around them, and then wrap around the cause with their tentacles, after, they feel around to get an outline of the object they've grabbed (So they don't detonate against a dolphin or something by accident)
Then, if the profile matches a library of target profiles downloaded into its software, the mine crawls against the most vulnerable part of the ship and explodes!
