AN: Sorry this one's a little short, but as i tried to add to it, the break/difference in space/time and the length it was reaching made that part feel like a whole different chapter.

It was a couple of hours before Harry woke up, his head a little sore, but feeling fine, his world just a little fuzzy because his glasses were removed.

Slowly sitting up, he looked around saw them on a bedside table and put them on.

Looking around the room, Harry saw it was a medium sized room, with wooden beams, and made of large stone bricks.

Light from the window caught his attention where he a teenage boy with white hair sleeping, but that wasn't what confused him.

What confused him was the fact that it was snowing outside.

Slowly, so not to wake up the other boy, Harry got up and went over to the window to try and work out where he was.

But the noise of the bed creaking made the other boy wake up.

"Huh? Oh Harry, finally awake then" Jack said yawning and stretching a little and picking up his staff.

"Um... I'm sorry but, who are you?" Harry asked unsure what to do, really wishing he had his wand.

"Huh?" Jack asked sounding confused "Oh right, you don't recognize me cause my hair and eyes right? Well, it's me Jack Frost."

Not sure about this Harry stayed where he was.

Rolling his eyes, Jack started reciting what had happened at school last year.

It only took up until Lockhart and the Pixies for Harry to believe him.

"So... why are you like... this?" Harry said gesturing to all of Jack.

"Well, you remember me saying that if you came here things needed to be explained?"

Harry nodded slowly sitting down again.

"Well one of those things," Jack said setting his staff into a standing position and climbing onto pot it balancing perfectly on top of it "Is that I'm actually the real 'Jack Frost' and it's my job to bring winter and fun to the world! Oh and this is how I normally look – just so you know." he said proudly, pausing to see if Harry believed him.

"Next, is that Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and the Sandman are all real too, and play the roles of my family. Well the one you've met anyway." Jack finished jumping down again. "Any questions?"

Harry had a slightly stunned face, not sure what to say, or if this was real, or if this was just a dream he was having because he was still asleep because he had hit his head so hard as he came out the portal earlier.

But after a bit, he found his voice and asked:

"If you're normally like... this," Harry said slowly "Why don't you look like it at school?"

"I take a potion to make me Human." Jack said simply.

"Why would you need that?" Harry asked "You seem human enough for me."

"Well it also makes Non-Believers see me," Jack said rubbing the back of his head and making his hair even messier than it already was "You see, only those who believe in us can see us." he explained "And when you're meant to be a student at school, even if it is a 'magic' school, you need to be able to be seen, or the teachers will think you're skiving."

"But why would you be at Hogwarts anyway?" Harry asked trying to understand all of this.

"Well the five of us, me, North, Bunny, Tooth, and Sandy, we are called the Guardians of Childhood – minus the fact the others hardly know anything about children, but that's not the point." Jack added as a side not for himself "And two years ago, we were told that something bad might be happening in the magical side of the world. So I was given the task to undercover as a student to be an inside job guy to be there and possibly, if need be, help protect the kids there at the school." Jack explained saying the truth, and yet not the whole truth.

"You mean Voldemort don't you?" Harry said surprisingly calm.

"Tom Riddle might have a play in it, but don't worry," Jack said one-arm-hugging Harry "Big Brother Jack is here to make sure you don't get any bad dreams or fight him on your own if he does turn up and show us his ugly face."

Smiling a little Harry nodded and opened his trunk to get out his wand, thinking it would be safer if he had it.

"So do you believe me?" Jack asked shouldering his staff and smiling "You believe that the others are real and believe in them too?"

Harry paused to think before saying "Yes, I do. But I still have one question Jack."

Jack who had been smiling and reaching for the door handle, paused and raised an eyebrow.

"Where are we?" Harry asked looking out the window to the white landscape.

"We're at the North Pole of course." Jack said smiling and opening the door and stepping aside to let Harry pass and see go down the corridor to the workshop, where hundreds if not thousands of toys and presents were being made.

"Oh and by the way, when we get to school, you can't tell anybody about this or my family without my say so ok?"

Harry only nodded, moth wide open and eyes as big as dinner plates, in his mind, wondering just how mad Dudley would be if he ever found out Harry was here.
