In the Globe room, North, Tooth, Bunny and Sandy were all waiting for Jack and Harry to come down.

Tooth giving her fairies addresses to teeth under pillows. Sandy enjoying the food the Yeti's had brought for them to enjoy. And North and Bunny (as usual) arguing over who had the best holiday.

Just as it was about to get to fist and broken noses, a pair of snowballs came and hit both of them, making the two look up to see Jack and a still wide-eyed Harry Potter.

"Can't leave you two alone for five minutes can I?" Jack said tutting and going over to grab some juice and some cookies.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Bunny asked crossing his arms and scooting a little closer to the fire to warm up a bit.

"Well you two do fight a lot," Tooth said hushing her fairies a little before going over to say hello to Harry. "Hello dear, everything ok? Jack explained everything about us right? Oh wait maybe you can't see us. North where that Make-Me-Human potion?"

"Huh, no. No it's ok Ma'am I can see you. I'm just so... amazed that I'm here and everything about this place and the fact Jack's actually the Spirit of Winter and all that." Harry said quickly trying to calm Tooth down.

Calming down Tooth went back to her fairies, allowing Sandy to come over and wave kindly in hello.

"Um, hello Sandy," Harry said smiling back, before looking to North who was coming over with a large pile of presents. "What are they?" he asked, backing off a little.

"These are all the presents. – "

"And Easter eggs" Bunny butted in.

"And Easter eggs," North nodded in agreement "And Tooth Fairy money, you never received during your childhood." he explained setting them down in front of Harry. "Sorry they're a little late."

Harry was about to object to them, saying he didn't need them when Jack said it would be rude to not accept gifts from people. Especially people as important as the Guardians.

"Besides it was your birthday a few days ago right?" Jack asked looking over the pile and picking a box up and shaking it for Harry "And you're only getting this many at once because the numbers built up because you didn't get them when you were meant to. Right?"

"I suppose..." Harry said looking over some of the Easter Eggs seeing some he noticed were ones Dudley had once been given.

So with that, Harry started opening the presents.

Among which were a wrist watch, a toy car, a few new clothes (which unfortunately were too small for him due to the fact they're baby/toddler clothes), some books, some Muggle playing cards, and some stuffed toys.

He wasn't sure how he should feel about all these presents, because most of them were presents Dudley had been given for Christmas's and birthdays when he was younger, when all he got were rubbish gifts from the Dursley's and old worn-out clothes.

Seeing the black haired boy was getting upset, and slowing down on unwrapping the presents, Jack spoke up.

"So, Harry. What happened to make you want to run away so bad you decided to come here?"

"Huh? Oh," Harry said rubbing at his eyes a little "Uncle Vernon's sister was insulting my parents, and I accidentality blew her up."

There was silence in the Globe room for a second.

"When you say 'Blew her up' Bunny asked calmly "Do you mean exploding, or..."

"I mean as if she was a huge human balloon." Harry explained, smiling a little at the laughter coming from Jack and the silent giggles coming from Sandy.

"Well, if she was insulting ya parents, I say she deserves it," Bunny said in his usual uncaring sounding voice.

"So, Harry," Tooth said coming over and hovering next to the boy "Jack got his Hogwarts letter the other day. If you have yours we can go and get your school things together if you want. Maybe Friday?"

"Um, sure yeah I have my letter," Harry said nodding "I got it with the birthday card and a strange book Hagrid sent to me for my birthday."

"A strange book?" North asked raising an eyebrow "How is it strange?"

"Well, it seems to be alive for one thing," Harry said thinking it would be better to just go and get it, coming back with a book that had a belt around it that did indeed seem to be alive as it was struggling against the binding. "Here," he said holding it out.

All five of the Guardians looked at it and read the title:

'The Monster Book of Monsters'

Reaching out his hands Sandy gave a questioning look asking if he could have a closer look, to which Harry nodded and handed the book over to him.

Looking it over, Sandy undid the belt and took it off, then quickly so the book wouldn't start attacking them, but slowly so it was calm, stroked the spine of the book.

Within a few seconds, the book shivered and went still, laying open in Sandy's hands.

Smiling he gave the book back to Harry and went back to his warm milk that was sitting on the table.

"Thanks," Harry said smiling and quickly looked over the contents page:

"That's a lot of magical creatures," Bunny said looking at the page himself a bit put out that Pooka's were in there "What exactly did Hagrid say when he gave to you?"

"Well it was a letter actually, but he said that this might be useful this year." Harry said, closing the book, hoping that Hagrid hadn't managed to get his hands on another dragon egg, or some other giant monster he needed help with.

"Well you're taking Care of Magical Creatures right?" Jack asked from where he was, a plate of non-elf-spit-covered-cookies in his hand "And all those 'monsters' sound pretty magical to me."

"Why would that subject's teacher suddenly deal out new books for their subject?" Tooth asked confused.

"Dunno, but they change the Defence books every year," Jack said shrugging "So, we go to go get these things and whatever else we need shopping Friday?"

With everyone agreeing to that, Harry got back to opening the presents, among which were some board games they all started to play until Sandy and Tooth needed to leave to go do their jobs.
