Quickly stepping out of the restaurant, Midori took several deep breaths to steady her breathing. Glancing through the crowded streets, she clenched her jaw and took a single step back. Slowly inhaling, she closed her eyes and paused for a moment. Reaching up, she rubbed her eyes a bit before exhaling. After she lowered her arms, she raised her head and opened her eyes. The color was no longer the tea green they usually were. Her eyes were now the soft water-like color Eleanor's eyes were.

She glanced around once again, but this time with a more focused look in her eyes. Breathing in, her senses began to alter. The noises of the city were swarming her ears yet somehow blurring into nothing at the same time. Smelling something in the air, she sniffed a few times before a red trail of smoke appeared. She began to follow the trail while stepping between the others on the street. Following the red mist down a side alley, she paused and glanced around as it faded away.

Kneeling down, Midori narrowed her eyes as she ran her fingers across the ground. Breathing out, she slowly stood as red footprints appeared in her vision. As she followed after them, her brow began to furrow. Gritting her teeth, she let out a sigh and closed her eyes. When she opened them, they were once again tea green.

Hearing footsteps approaching, Kagami kept her head low. With uneasy breathing, she rubbed her face. "I'm sorry... I... I didn't mean to run off... I just..." The young girl mumbled while sitting on the ground beside a dumpster. Her back pressed against the back of a building with her knees tucked into her chest. "I didn't... I didn't mean to shout... I just..." Gritting her teeth, she rubbed her face harder.

Sighing back, her mother softly nodded. "It's okay. You have every right to be angry." She slowly crouched down beside her. Grunting a bit, she shifted to sit with her legs crossed. "It was unfair of me to think you would be completely fine with this. With everything that happened. I should have known there would be some resentment."

"No... no." She quickly looked up with wide eyes. "I don't resent you!" She braced her palms against the ground. "That's not what-" Cutting herself off, she let out a groan and leaned back. "I'm just... a little overwhelmed. And I'm not thinking clearly." She shook her head before rubbing her eyes against her knees. "I'm sure you had your reasons for not looking for me."

"I did. But that doesn't mean I didn't worry." She took a deep breath and rested her hands on her lap. "You've met Aero and Eleanor and Aero told me she spoke about us and Cherry." She took a second deep breath. "Aero can bring her drawings to life for a short time, Eleanor can use Hunt and track anything, but Cherry..." She lowered her head. "She could catch glimpses of the future. It's not as nice as it sounds. It was random and when it happened, she couldn't move. All she could do was speak. And after the vision would fade, she'd forget it immediately. It made her..." She smiled and lightly chuckled. "She was very forgetful. Even that may be an understatement."

Glancing up at her, Kagami tilted her head with a soft expression. "Did... she see me in one?"

Losing her smile, the former Huntress slowly nodded. "She did." She looked away and stared blankly ahead. "In her last." There was a pause. Silence fell between the two for a minute. Shaking her head, she looked back over. "She told me that I would have to let Kagami go for the better and that she would be safe and years later she would return to see me again. Return stronger than even me. I had no clue what she was talking about, but the name stuck with me." She reached out to place a hand on her daughter's knee. "You can imagine the shock when your father told me he wanted to name you Kagami."

Staring up at her for a moment, she slowly nodded before looking away. "I'm sorry I got angry." She apologized again. She hasn't even known her teammates for half the time that her mother had known hers, but she already trusted them with her life. She could at least understand where her mother was coming from.

Breathing in, Midori stood up with a small grunt. "It's alright. I told you it was." She held out her hand. "Now, I might be able to call off my shift. There's someone else you need to meet at home."

"There... is?" She tilted her head a bit as she was helped to her feet. "Who?"

Standing in the doorway of a two story home, Elise held both her hands over her mouth. Her eyes wide. "Oh. My. Oum." She let out in a muffled voice. Beside her, Kris tilted her head down to stare with her mouth open and Cheyenne held a single hand over her mouth.

"Kagami..." Midori stood next to her. She held both her hands closely in front of her. Taking a deep breath, she chewed on the inside of her mouth. "This is Gurin." She gestured towards the little girl with green hair sitting on the couch. "Your little sister."

Staring with a stunned expression, Kagami slowly raised her hand and very weakly waved. "Um... hi." She breathed out.

Blinking, the little girl held a scroll in her hands. The screen of it is a controller pad for the game that was displayed in front of her. She then tilted her head for a moment before leaning back and looking over her shoulder. "Kuro! Mom's home early! And she brought others!"

"Huh!?" A male voice that sounded panicked called out. The sound of stumbling followed by crashing was heard before a well built young man with long back hair leaned out from the hallway. "Mrs. Monomane!" He coughed a few times before quickly standing upright.

Looking blankly at him, Midori crossed her arms. "Were you even watching her?"

"Yes. Yes of course." He reassured her with a smile. "What else would I be doing?"

"He was busy playing with his things in his room." Gurin smiled towards her mother. "He let me play Summons of Combat while he was."

"He... was what?" Aero blinked while leaning onto Baren. Her legs nearly jelly.

Exhaling disappointingly, Midori reached up to pinch her nose. "He's a technology nerd." She clarified while shaking her head. "And a very irresponsible son!" She shot him a glare. "I told you she can't play this game! She's too young for it! Why don't you let her play those brick building games?!"

"Hey, hey, hey." Kuro held up his hands in defense. "She demanded it. She teleported away with my scroll and hid it and told me she wouldn't bring it back until I let her!"

"Plus those games are dumb." The little girl pouted slightly. "Dumb and boring."

"Hey, now." He pointed at her. "Those are iconic. Don't hate on them."

"You... have a little sister?" Cheyenne glanced at her leader.

"And an older brother." Kris purred quietly. "Why didn't you ever tell me?"

"I didn't even know I had an older brother." Kagami looked over with a still lost look.

"How do you not know you have an older brother?" Elise tilted her head.

"Kuro is adopted." Midori glanced at the four girls before walking over and snatching the scroll her youngest daughter held. "A few years ago Aza caught him breaking into our house. He was living on the streets and just wanted something to eat. So Aza made him dinner and we gave him a place to stay. In return he's supposed to watch Gurin!" She raised her voice while turning to glare at the young man.

"I am though." He defended himself while gesturing with his hand. "Do you know how hard it is to keep her still? Those video games are the only reason she hasn't been teleporting around." He looked over then froze. Gurin was no longer sitting on the couch. "Shit!" He bent his knees slightly before quickly looking around. His long back hair wrapped around his face. "Where'd she go?!"

Sighing, Baren slowly pushed Aero off her and onto Eleanor. "Don't let her fall." She mumbled before walking off.

Raising an eyebrow, she let out a sigh while holding the bluette upright. "You really shouldn't have drank as much as you did." She shook her head.

"Great..." Midori reached up to rub her face. "Now we're going to have to find her again."

"Wait, wait where did she go?" Kagami finally spoke up.

"Her semblance lets her change her current location in space instantaneously." Kuro sighed while running his hand through his hair. "It makes it really hard to keep track of her. Especially considering how hyperactive she can be. And how easily distracted she can be."

"Bassically, we don't know where she went." Her mother shook her head. "She'll come back. Eventually." She leaned forward and reached up to rub her forehead.

"That's... concerning." Cheyenne slowly breathed out. "You might want to send her to a combat school to learn to use it better."

"She's too young." Midori glanced over her shoulder. "And even if she wasn't, she doesn't want to."

"Really? A Monomane that doesn't want to learn to fight?" Eleanor smiled while helping Aero to the couch. Setting her down gently, she then sat beside her. "I never heard of the likes."

"She'd rather be fighting on there." She motioned towards the game that was paused. Taking a deep breath, she too sat down. "I don't know what to do with her."

"Wait." Kuro blinked once before holding up his hand and pointing over at MACE. "Who are they?" His head tilted.

"That's Kagami." She inhaled slowly.

Blinking more, he began to smile. "Kagami?" He eyed the jadette. "You're the Kagami I hear so much about?"

"I guess?" She shrugged back while eyeing her mother. "What exactly did you tell him?"

"That you kicked a dick in the dick." He chuckled while moving his hands behind his head. "You were pretty ballsy as a kid. Are you still like that?"

"That she is." Kris grinned as she leaned in. "But enough about Kagami, what about you, Kuro? Hmm?" She took a step forward before yelping as the back of her jacket was snatched.

"Oh no. No, no, no." Her leader jerked her backwards. "We are not doing that. Do you hear me?"

"But why not?" The young redhead pouted. "Do you not see him?" She waved her hand at the young man with long black hair.

"That's technically my brother!" She exclaimed.

Holding up a finger, she grinned back. "Not by blood."

"I'm... a bit confused." Kuro glanced over to the women on the couch. "What's happening?"

"You're a... cutie..." Aero raised her head with a tired laugh. "Duh..."

"I'm going to go get her some water." Cheyenne gently nodded before walking off to the kitchen. "Does anyone else want anything?"

"I'm fine, thank you." Midori smiled softly.

Walking calmly down the street, Baren stopped at a small lot with a fence around it. The lot was covered in green grass and a few trees with a piece of play equipment here and there. Turning on her toes, she stepped through the gate and approached the largest of the trees. "You know, running off like this is very irresponsible and rude. Especially with your older sister visiting. She's traveled a long way to meet you."

Popping her head out from the leaves, Gurin hung upside down from a branch. "How did you know where I was?" She tilted her head while swinging slightly.

"I can pinpoint auras with ease." She rested her arm across her chest. "It's what discipline does."

"Well... I was bored." She pulled herself up and disappeared back inside the leaves.

"That's still no excuse." The pinkette looked up. "What if someone tried to kidnap you?"

"Then I would just teleport away." The young girl jumped down and landed with a soft thud. "Easy."

"Okay." Baren nodded before grinning a little. "Then what if someone had a semblance to nullify your semblance?"

"Well that doesn't exist." She crossed her arms while narrowing her eyes.

"You don't know that. It could. There is always someone better than you. And there are endless possibilities for opponents." She exhaled while lowering her arm and placing her hand on her hip. "Then what would you do?"

"Well..." Gurin trailed off before letting out a frustrated groan. Shifting around, she lightly stomped her feet. "Well that doesn't matter because no one here has it."

"How do you know?" The old warrior tilted her head. "I'm not saying stop teleporting around. I'm just saying you need to be more careful and respectful." She outstretched her arm. "Now let's go back home. Your sister is waiting to get to know you."

Growing quiet, she glanced away. She chewed on her lip for a moment before reaching out and grabbing her hand. "Fine. I'm sorry." She very quietly mumbled. In a single blink of an eye, the two were suddenly standing by the front door of the Monomane home.

"What the fuck?" A male voice came from behind them. "What the bloody hell... Gurin!"

Noticing the voice, the young girl quickly whipped around. "Dad!" She exclaimed with a small wince.

"Who the fuck is this one armed fucking donkey?" A man in chef whites with styled blonde hair glared at his daughter before looking up at the pinkette.

Blinking, Baren stared back at him with a shocked expression. Something she hadn't shown in a long time. "This... isn't what I was expecting. At all." Her brow furrowed as she tilted her head.

"What the hell is that even supposed to mean?" He held out his hands before taking a deep breath and reaching up to rub his face. "I spent all day with a bunch of muppets that kept handing me fucking fish so raw if I placed it in the water it would swim the fuck away and look for better food to eat. I don't need my daughter teleporting strangers into my fucking home!"

Blinking more, the old warrior stared blankly for a moment before turning around. "Yeah, I'm not doing this." She grabbed the door handle and calmly let herself in.

"Hey! Get back here you fucking dog!" He quickly stormed after her.

"Um, dad?" Gurin held up a hand before blinking away and appearing back inside the home just as the two of them entered.

"Listen to me you donut! You-" Aza continued to shout before cutting himself off. Slowly turning his head, he stared. Not at the group of three women on the couch. Not at his son who sat on the arm of the couch. Not at his daughter who stood by her brother. And not at the two brunettes and single redhead who sat on the floor. He stared at the third jadette in the room. Slowly, his shoulders began to lower as his gaze softened. Blinking, he glanced back at the pinkette. Taking note of her missing right arm, he took a step back and reached up to rub his face. "Oh fucking hell... fucking... fuck." He jerked his body away while taking a deep breath and closing his eyes.

"And I thought I had a problem with cursing." Kris mumbled under her breath.

Taking a few deep breaths, Kagami slowly pushed herself to her feet. For a moment, she hesitated, but only for a moment. "Hello, father." She quietly let out.

Glancing back at her, he stared with a gentle expression before taking a deep breath. "I'm going to the kitchen. You can... come help me make dinner if you want." He spoke much quieter and softer. "I think we have the ingredients for curry. There should be enough for everyone." He began to head to the kitchen.

"Actually, I don't eat-" Kris raised a hand before grunting as both Elise and Cheyenne pushed her down.
