14861b: Well your going to get it. An Abyssal Space Fleet of the Galactic Empire-First Order type just ambushed Executor's Fleet. So all Wave Motion Engine equipped ships are going to reinforce them. —Andromeda ZZZ-0001

It was a normal day in the Wave Motion Fleet's main orbital station, the human personnel were going about their days managing the day to day logistics that come with running a space fleet full of inordinately powerful shipgirls such as the Wave Motion Fleet, the 1500 Dreadnought class girls alone are a handful few couple rangle but somehow Andromeda has managed the near impossible feat of having light to no discipline problems.

Though as Andromeda was doing some paperwork in her office she got an unexpected visitor. "Hay Dromeda! How are you doing?" Said the girl that just entered the room.

Andromeda looked up with surprise on her face black hair hanging loose "Eltreum! You're out of refit already?" She said.

Eltreum, a giant of a woman even(especially) by shipgirl standards shook her head, pure white hair that would fall to her ankles when not in her ever present ponytail flying about and red eyes shining in amusement, said "Yup Ginga and Asuka finished mine up a few hours ago, Exelion has just finish up herself too."

Smiling in response Andromeda couldn't help but chuckle and say "They finished refuting a Seventy thousand kilometer long super space battleship* before the 7 thousand meter one? Typical MSSB. But, tell me how you like their work."

Eltreum closed the door to the office and say down in one of the chairs in front of Andromeda's desk before responding "Oh I like it, I really like it. Those girls didn't just give me a couple Wave Motion Engines and corresponding Warp drive, (though never having to deal with time dilation turning a four mouth cruise into a ten year campaign again is nice,) but a complete overhaul of my entire AA armament!"

"Really? How so?" Said Andromeda leaning back in her chair.

Eltreum grabbed the pitcher of water on the side of the desk and a pair of cups while saying "Simple, you know those super rapid firing versions of the new AA shock cannons RnD came up with? Well they made a quad AA mount that uses those and stuck a couple million of the things all along my hull. Hell I've got not just positron shocks out the wazoo, but they also gave me guns that can fire physical flak shells too! I. Am now the Ultimate Sky Cancer Killer." She then held out one of the niw filled cups to Andromeda.

"Hot Damn!" Said Andromeda, taking the cup. "I can't wait to see that in action once we get a spot on a patrol for you."

Eltreum was about to respond when suddenly the door to the office was slammed open "BOSS WE GOT AN EMERGENCY!" screamed the girl in the doorway.

"Devastation!? What's going on!" Andromeda said standing from her desk.

"Executor's Fleet just got ambushed by a fuck huge fleet of Abby's!" Devastation D-0002-2202, the second ship of the Dreadnought class space battleships, told her with a look of worry on her face.

"What types?!" Andromeda asked, Immediately switching into Fleet Admiral mode.

"At least eight thousand Galactic Empire-First Order types! Multiple hundred Imperial 1s, 2s and Resurgent type Star Destroyers with at least twenty Executor type Star Dreadnoughts, seventeen Eclipse type Star Dreadnoughts, eight Supremacy type Super Star Dreadnoughts and who knows how many smaller types!" Devastation answered.

"Fuck! Mobilize the entire fleet we have to reinforce them! Where are they at!?" Was Andromeda's response. "Leaf 64!"** Devastation replied.

Now it was Eltreum's turn to respond having gotten passed her shock at the news "Executor? Leaf 64?! Oh there is no way in hell I'm sitting this one out! Those fuckers are going to pay for trying to hurt my girlfriend!"

"Damn straight. Eltreum you and Exelion are going to get your chance to put RnD's work to the test." Were Andromeda's last words as three of them left her office to assemble the fleet.

I will leave the actual writing of the Battle of Leaf 64 to someone who has the talent to write actual large scale space battles.

**Leaf 64 is a star that appears in episodes 3 and 4 of Gunbuster and is the site of the main character Noriko's first battle.
