AN: For Miraculous Ladybug fans – please don't hate me for the line I make Jack say.

For all – I'm sorry it get a bit wordy in the middle, and moves too fast (Elisa forgiving Jack) near the end, I was just typing what words my fingers made as they moved over my keyboard.

I know some would like me to have Elisa mad at Jack for longer than one afternoon, but I think once she knows why he said what he does, she will forgive him.

To Jack's surprise the morning went by pretty fast.

It started out with he, Elisa and Baby Tooth, playing games, and then watching some movies – surprisingly the electric projector that came up when they needed it wasn't affected by the amount of magic that it possibly absorbed in its life as it was a old looking one.

They thought of having a Disney Movie marathon, but soon found out there were some that they both agreed could be left out. Also it would take more than a morning to get the remaining ones all in.

So they only went with a couple of movies, with a popcorn box shared between the from the popcorn maker over in the corner, next to the soda machine.

"I have to say," Jack said during a song in the movie "I'm surprised all this muggle technology stuff is in here."

"Well the Muggle Studies teacher has to get the things from somewhere right?" Elisa said just as surprised. "I mean the closet Muggle town is hours away."

"I guess, but these don't seem to be lesson items, they're hideout or movie night items," Jack said looking over the objects in question. "Besides I doubt the teacher even knows how to use most of this stuff." he whispered as the song was over so they could continue watching the movie.

Once the third movie was over, all occupants believed it was time to get out and get some air.

Being the gentleman Jack was raised to be, he lead Elisa to the Ravenclaw common room so she can get her school winter cloak, scarf and gloves (the scarf even had a pocket in it where Baby Tooth placed herself to rest her wings and stay warm).

Then they were outside and exploring the February landscape of the Hogwarts school grounds, spending most of the time walking around the edge of the lake.

They saw the snow-fairy's from last year, Sugar, Periwinkle, and Shelly, who were adding frost patterns to the Forest trees.

As they see Elisa they came to say hello and Periwinkle asked Jack:

"When Big-head Jackie's Boogie-Boo be Big-head Jackie's Titania?" (When will Master Jack make his girlfriend his queen?)

"Perri!" Jack said in surprise red growing in his ears as Sugar and Shelly giggled.

"I'm guessing 'Titania' is something embarrassing, Jack?" Elisa asked from where she was waiting for the boy to recover from the fairy's question.

"What? No, no, no, no, it's not embarrassing," Jack said trying to reassure her (and himself). "I just wasn't expecting to hear this question today," he said sending a mini glare at one of his oldest fairies.

"So... No this bright circle cycle?" Sugar asked who was in the middle of weaving snowdrops into Elisa's hair. (So... not today?)

"No! Not today, or any time in the near future," Jack said not aware he as saying this in human. "Elisa is just a friend, and that's it she is not my girlfriend, and she is not my queen. We are just friends. Do you understand?"

"Oh I understand Jack," Elisa said after a moment of silence.

"Elis – " he was cut off my a hard packed snowball hitting him in the face. As soon as he brushed it away, he could see Elisa heading back to the school.

"Elisa wait!" he said trying to run after her, but found he was stuck by a sticking charm to the ground.

Elisa went inside and straight up to her room in Ravenclaw Tower, where she found the cushion Jack gave her last year and started beating it up as much as she could without destroying it, tears slowly running down her face, until she burned out her temper and went curled up for a nap.

Quietly Baby Tooth pulled a blanket over the girl and whipped away a few stray tears.

Sighing she beat her wings wondering how she could help fix this.

Back outside, Jack had finally got himself unstuck and was trying to get away from the Snow Fairy's who were asking questions like 'How could you say that?' and 'Why is she so upset?' and 'Why are you mad at us Master Jack? Please don't be mad.'

"Will you three leave me alone, please!" he said to them as they were passing Hagrid's hut on the way back to school.

"Jack?" Hagrid's voice called out making the boy look around and the fairies to hide.

"Hi Hagrid," Jack said smiling the fake 'everything is alright' smile he used to always wear. "Sorry no time to talk, need to head back inside before it gets too cold, you know... Bye."

"I thought the cold didn't bother you," Hagrid said calmly reaching out a hand and stopping the boy.

"It doesn't normally, but it's been a bit annoying today," Jack said eyes shooting to where the three fairies were hiding behind the water barrel "So if I could just go..." Jack said trying to get away again, but still failing as Hagrid lead him into his hut.

"Hows about I give you a quick look over, before you hurt yerself then?" Hagrid said sitting Jack down and going about making some tea.

"I'm fine, really, I just need to go and find someone, and explain some things to them," Jack said about to get up but was forced to stay sat down when Fang came to place his head on the boy's lap.

"I'm sure whatever you have to say to this person, can wait until you've both cooled off," Hagrid said coming over with come cakes.

"No it can't, I'm sorry but I need to sort this out now," Jack tried again to leave, but Fang was being stubborn.

"Jack. If you have enough oomph in you to start yelling at fairies, I think this can wait until you've cooled down a bit." Hagrid said pouring the tea, his back to the boy who stopped struggling.

"You know about Snow Fairy's?" Jack asked in minor surprise. "Can you understand them?"

"One of me jobs here is to look after all the creatures that live in the forest," Hagrid said turning around with the tea. "And that would be kind of hard to do, if I didn't know what creatures I'm caring for, wont it? But no, I can't understand them. So hows about you help me understand. Why were you yelling at them?"

Groaning and placing his head onto the table, Jack started to explain (leaving out the Prince of Winter and his Guardian lives).

"Last Christmas, me and Elisa spent the day outside where we came across Luna and three snow-fairies," Jack began slowly. "Seeing me they asked why I was here, and I answered. Then see Elisa and asked if she was my girlfriend – in Fairy Speak, so Elisa didn't know what they were saying." Jack added quickly.

'Anyway, we were having a day out today, since it's meant to be our Valentine's Day date in Hogsmeade, but I can't go because of the Sirius Black incident, and we came across the same fairies." Jack said using his free hand to gesture towards the window here he could sense the girls were, watching all of this. "One asked, when will Elisa become my queen, and... I don't know how it got there, but I ended up saying to them in Human Speak, that Elisa is 'Just a friend' all while Elisa was right there listening in on it all, and just... Agh... My life with her is over."

He finished the last sentence coming out muffled as he covered his face, wishing for the first time in his life he could be invisible.

"Did you mean what you said?" Hagrid asked after a minute of thinking this over.

"Huh?" Jack asked looking up.

"When you were fired up by them fairies," Hagrid explained "Did you mean what you said?"

"No. It was just to make them back off and leave us alone," Jack answered trying to get up again "Which is why I need to go and explain that to Elisa before she tells her friends, and they set up a barricade around her every time I try to talk to her in the future. Fang! Get the heck off of me man!"

Gloomily looking up at the boy with the strange scent, the boarhound slowly lifted his head and went back over to his bed by the fire, next to Buckbeak.

Quickly Jack got up and rushed to the door.

"Jack," Hagrid said making the boy turn to look over his shoulder. "I'm sure this will work out. But if it doesn't I can help you make something for Elisa to say yer sorry, if you like."

Thinking Jack nodded before leaving and running back up to the school.

Inside Jack started to head straight towards Ravenclaw Tower, not caring or slowing down when portraits or people tell him to slow down.

He was so focused on trying to work out what to say to Elisa he wasn't looking where he was going and ended up running into someone.

"Do watch where you're going Jack," Professor Lupin said calmly, Harry and Ron following him, the parchment to the Marauder's Map in his hand.

"Sorry Professor," Jack said working his way around the adult "I on my way to explain a misunderstanding to Elisa Dale, and the script to that clouded my vision."

"I see, so you were not involved in Ron and Harry's scheme then?" Lupin asked eyes shooting to the two boys.

"Scheme, Professor?" Jack asked innocently. "No... I've been here all day. In fact I have just been talking to Hagrid and am about to try and explain to Elisa a... misunderstanding, so if I could just..." he said starting to head on his way.

"I know you know about this map too, Jack," Lupin said calmly, making Jack stop. "And I know you've known about it longer than Harry and Ron have."

This made Harry and Ron look more confused – How could Lupin possibly know this?

"Now I know you like playing tricks and having fun," Lupin continued "But I thought a responsible young man like you would know to hand something like that in."

"To be fair Professor, it wasn't mine to hand in," Jack said calmly. "And yes, I know it wasn't who-ever-had-it-first's either, but hey at least it's come back to its heir right Professor?" he said gesturing to Harry.

"Wait, what does that mean?" Harry asked curiously, and a tad confused.

Jack smiled as he saw Lupin's grip on the parchment tighten slightly.

"You can talk to them Marauders' you know," Jack began grinning eyeing Lupin as he spoke. "And before you were given it, I asked a few questions. It turns out you have connections to some them and that makes you the true owner of the map. So you see Professor that is why I didn't hand it in."

"I am confiscating this," Lupin said holding up the blank map, a tad of annoyance on his face towards Jack. "And I hope that none of you, will think of being as foolish as to leave around valuable information like this be in places where anyone can get to it again. What if Sirius Black managed to find it and work out how to use it, hm?"

After a minute of silence for Ron and Harry to think this over, Lupin left.

After another minute, Jack set off to Ravenclaw Tower again.

Climbing up the stairs to the door, panting as he reached the top, Jack reached out and knocked.

'What is the most fragile thing in the world that saying its name will break it?' the eagle on the door asked.

"Silence." Jack said after a bit of thinking.

The door opened and Jack was about to go inside when Elisa's friends pushed him back out.

"No heartbreaking Gryffindor jerks are allowed in this common room." Cindy – the appointed leader of the three girls said.

"I'm not a heartbreaking jerk," Jack said quickly, aiming his words to her ignoring the wands being pointed at him. "I'm a can't-admit-to-something-when-someone-says-it-to-my face-dummy. And I want to explain this to Elisa."

"You are not allowed to say her name until she deems you worthy," Alice – the one with long red hair - said.

"Fine, I'm here to tell Snowflake how much of a dummy I am." Jack said about to try and politely push past the girls again, but was just pushed back.

"No sweetheart nicknames either." Another blonde girl, this one in a pink and blue jumper said.

"Just let me see her please," Jack said getting really annoyed with these girls.

"No!" they say together.

"Fine. Then can you please pass on a message?" he asked looking to them.

After a moment eyeing each other up they nodded and lowered their wand's to listen.

"Please may you tell her, that I know I am an idiot, and I am sorry, and that I never meant to say those things. And that if the Snow Fairies were not there, I would gladly say that she was my Titania."

With that he bowed slightly and left, hoping that would do to get Elisa to talk to him again.

That evening, not feeling in the mood to be surrounded by hundreds of people who may have heard about what happened that afternoon, Jack took to eating dinner in the Kitchens instead, with Binky and his waiter and on his third pitcher of pumpkin cider (pumpkin juice left to stand and become alcoholic).

"How could I have been so stupid?" he asked himself for the umpteenth time since he got there – which was just after he left Ravenclaw Tower.

"Most humans do do stupid things sir," an Elf said as they came by sweeping the floor with an elf sized broom away. "It is nothing to be ashamed about."

"I'm not ashamed because I deserve to feel what I'm feeling," Jack said leaning back on the chair "I'm mad at myself."

"Mad at yourself for what, sir?" a new voice asked behind him, but he was too tired and upset to turn to see who it was.

"I'm mad that I let my feelings get the best of me, and blind me to the truth," Jack said after a bit of thinking "I'm mad that the fairies made me say that Elisa was 'just a friend' when she's more than that. Not Titania worthy, but boogieboo at least."

"I thought boogieboo meant snowball-fight successor," the voice said making Jack frown in confusion and look back.

"Els?!" he cried accidently falling out of the chair he was in.

Elisa waited until Jack was back onto his feet, Baby Tooth sitting on her shoulder.

"I am SO sorry about what happened. The Fairies, they were asking questions I wasn't ready to answer." he tried to explain.

"It's ok," she said holding a book in her hand shrugging her shoulders a little "I probably would have said something similar if the roles were reversed."

Getting a better look at the book Jack saw it was a Fairy to English language dictionary.

"Where did you get that?" Jack asked a little nervous.

"Bunny lent it to me after he saw me and my friends make our way to dinner, asked what was wrong, and my friends and Baby explained what happened." Elisa said rambling on a little.

Not sure what to say, Jack turned away silently planning ways to get back at Bunny for this.

"I may not have worked out everything they snow fairies said, but I think I understood what they were asking, going by your reaction," Elisa said slowly, moving to let an elf come clear the table, and noticing another bring a second chair and a third set the table again for a two person dinner date. "And... If it's alright with you, I wouldn't mind being your queen. As long as we wait a few more years before we actually do that."

"As long as you're happy, not mad at me, and tell your friends to let me see you again, I'm fine with that." Jack said nodding as they sat down and were soon seen to by Binky who brought over some food a few minutes later.

Once they were finished they went back to the Room of requirement to watch a few more movies before bed.

AN: Ok so this day didn't go exactly how Jack and Elisa planned, but do things ever actually go to plan?
