My life is something of an anomaly. Being in a universe where book characters who shouldn't exist actually do exist. It doesn't even seem possible. Yet, it is possible.

My life up to this point has been nothing but an adventure. I don't know if that should be a good thing or a bad thing.

From being hunted by a crazed nomadic vampire. To running off to Italy in order to save my brothers life. To barely surviving Victoria. I'm not exactly sure how I am still alive.

I'm sad to say that these events have prevented me from thinking about my actual family. My family from the universe that I came from. So many questions run through my head. How long have I been gone? Is time different over there compared to here? Am I still in a coma? What would happen if I wake back up and I am no longer in this universe? What would I do?

I don't know how I would cope. I have formed an attachment to the Cullen family. I have formed a greater attachment to Alex. The vampire who used to be part of the Volturi. He left and changed his diet about fifty years ago. So, he no longer had blood red eyes. He had the most powerful and beautiful topaz eyes.

Which cemented one conclusion, I had to be dreaming.

I stare at the figure of Alex that stands before me. He is no longer wearing his normal shirt and jeans. He is wearing a dark suit with a midnight black cloak wrapped around him. The dark material helps his red eyes to stand out more. I can't move a muscle because of how scared I am.

He doesn't look like my loving boyfriend. He looks more like a monster. A monster from one of my worst nightmares.

He takes a step towards me and I use this to turn my body around and start running away.

I don't know where I am at. All I know is that we are currently in a forest somewhere. There are nothing but trees around me.

I don't think, I just run. I run around a corner before two hands roughly jerk me back.

I yelp in surprise. I turn in time to see Alex's red eyes glaring down at me. I am no longer his girlfriend. The one that he has proclaimed to be madly in love with. I was now his next meal. I don't have time to scream as he lunges at my throat and starts to rip it apart. My body goes limp as he continues to drink my blood.

This was how I was going to die.

"Sophie, wake up."

My eyes spring open and I am now welcomed by the sight of the wooden panels of our bedroom and the feeling of a soft bed.

"Hey, are you ok?" I turn on my side and look into the eyes of my vampire boyfriend. I am met with his topaz eyes. Not his red ones.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Bad dream is all." Alex runs his hand through my hair.

"Want to talk about it?" I shake my head in reply.

"No, not right now. It's only a dream." Alex gives me a small smile.

"Ok. As much as I would love to stay in bed with you all day, we have to get going. We need to help with set-up."

"For Edward and Bella's wedding," I reply.

"Yes." Alex leans in and kisses me. "Come on, lets get up." I smile at him and sit up. I watch him as he gets out of bed to put clothes on. I cling onto the sheets so that they cover my body. "You're ok right? I wasn't too rough on you?" I roll my eyes in annoyance.

"Alex, I'm fine. It's been almost two months. I think my ribs are healed enough to do other activities." Victoria really did a number on my body.

I had broken ribs, internal bleeding, bruises on my throat, a broken foot, and scratches on my arm. Carlisle wanted us to stay in Forks so that he could keep an eye on me. We stayed for eight weeks in Forks. We stayed until the cast on my foot was taken off. I now wore a boot in it's place.

Once I got the boot on, me and Alex moved to our house that we have in the Snoqualmie national forest. I was no longer officially living in Forks. Sure, I miss seeing my family every day but I wouldn't change what I have currently. Me and Alex have been officially living together for almost three weeks. It took a week after we moved here before Alex would become intimate with me again.

He wanted to make sure my ribs were mostly healed before we continued with anything. Let's just say my nights have been very eventful. He made sure to be gentle though. Claiming that he didn't want to hurt me further.

I can't help but to fall deeper in love with this man.

I swing out of the bed and gather my clothes for the day. We packed our bags for our trip to Forks the other night. I quickly put them on and look over everything that Alex packed.

"So, everything is here? How many nights will we be gone?"

"I packed for three nights but we probably will only stay there for two." I look over at him. I notice how his blonde hair looks disheveled, to his bright topaz eyes. This man continues to look beautiful and I have no idea why he picked me.

We haven't talked about him and Heidi. Finding out that your boyfriend used to be in a relationship with another woman for eighty years. A relationship that I didn't even know about until Demetri and Felix decided to comment on it. I couldn't help but to feel insecure about it.

"Hey. What's wrong?" I guess he was really observant with my body language.

"It's nothing. Just all in my head." Alex runs his hands down my face.

"If it's about her, you have nothing to worry about. She means nothing to me. You're my soulmate Sophie. You are pure and good. Something that she won't ever be. I'm sorry that I never told you about her."

I shake my head. "You don't need to apologize. It's in the past. I just can't understand how I got so lucky." Alex gave me a grin.

"I'm the lucky one, Sophie Cullen." Alex leans in and gives me a kiss. I pull him in closer to me and deepen it.

The kiss soon gets heated. I come up for air when my phone starts to ring. Alex groans. I just giggle at his antics.

I pick up my phone and answer it. "What is it Alice?"

"Do you have any idea how much work goes into a wedding? Bella and Edward's wedding is tomorrow! Tomorrow! We are no where near finished preparing and you are not here to help! Stop kissing your boyfriend and get over here now! I expect you to be here in four hours."

"Alice, we haven't even packed the car yet."

"You're bags are already packed. Alex just needs to put them in the car and then you can head over here. Move it young lady!" I can't say anything else before she hangs up the phone. I sigh.

"Well, I guess that is our cue to leave," answers Alex while he laughs.

"Remind me to never let Alice plan our wedding. She's going way overboard on this." As soon as the words leave my lips, I get a text message from the pixie herself.

Fat Chance

"Well. That's not scary," says Alex.

"Perks of having a sister who can see the future."

I follow Alex as he takes our stuff to the car. Once everything is in the car, we quickly leave our house and head to Forks.

"Are you excited?" asks Alex.

"Actually, I am. I'm excited to see my family and happy to witness Edward finally getting married. Tanya and everyone are supposed to be coming also."

Alex grins as he drives us out of the forest. "It will be good to see them again. No running away this time." Last time I saw the Denali clan, I ran away to Forks in order to prevent Bella from jumping off of the cliff. Didn't really work out how I had hoped it would.

"No running away. I promise," I agree.

Sure enough, four hours had passed and we officially drove into Forks. Alex soon pulls into the driveway of my old home. It was nice to be back. Nothing about it has changed. The façade looks the same. The only thing new about the house are the flowers and ribbons that are sitting on the front porch.

Alex barely put the car into park before my door flings open and I'm jerked out of my seat. I yelp in surprise. Thankfully, I had already taken my seatbelt off.

Big burly arms wrap around my small form and spin me around in a circle. I cling onto the teddy bear for dear life.

"Emmett," I say while laughing.

"Emmett, put her down." Alex has a scowl on his face as he watches Emmett hugging me.

"What, I can't hug my sister that you coldly took away from me. I haven't seen her in ages!" I laugh as Emmett puts me back on my feet.

"Emmett, it's only been three weeks."

Emmett huffs and crosses his arms. "Feels like a lot longer than three weeks," he mumbles.

"Missed you too big guy."

"Ignore him. He's just mad that he doesn't have his video game partner with him anymore." Jasper appears beside me. Jasper grins in my direction. I envelope my brother into a hug.

"I've missed you guys."

"You have no idea how annoying he's been," says Jasper while pointing his thumb in Emmett's direction. "He's been nagging non-stop about when you guys would be coming back."

"Emmett, you could have just come and visited us. It's only about an hour run to us."

"Thought I would give the two of you some alone time," replies Emmett while he wiggles his eyebrows. Heat runs to my face.

"Emmett. I'm not having this conversation with you. Now, where is everyone? Alice said that she needed our help."

"It's about time you two showed up!" As if answering my question, Alice bursts out of the house and dances over to us. "Alex I need your help setting up the aisle. Sophie, I need you to go get Bella. She's on the reservation and you are the only one that can go get her."

Great.

"No! Absolutely not. Bella can drive herself over here. You are not putting Sophie in any danger."

"I agree with Alex. Why can't Bella just drive over here?" I haven't seen or talked to anyone on the reservation since the battle with Victoria's army.

"Charlie drove her over to see Billy and she stayed to talk to Emily and everyone else."

"Can't someone from the reservation drive her over here? Like Emily or Sue."

Alice just shakes her head. "No time. She isn't too far away. Probably at Sam's place." Great, she's with the wolves.

I huff. "Fine."

"Sophie!" Alex is trying to put up a fight. I walk towards him so that I can get into my car.

"Stop. I'll be fine. I'll only be gone for twenty minutes. Thirty tops. I'm just going straight there and back. Trust me."

Alex looks me in my eyes and sighs.

"Fine. Ok. Go before I change my mind." I nod and quickly kiss him on the lips.

I quickly take the keys out of his hand and start the car. I put the car into drive and make my way to La Push.

Hopefully, the wolves won't cause any problems. Specifically a certain hot headed wolf shapeshifter.

So, just a little filler. Sophie will be going to the reservation next chapter. I love her interactions with Paul tbh. Edward and Bella's wedding will be here soon. What would you like me to include for Breaking Dawn? Until next time!
