[The scene transitions to the open savanna at dawn.]
Scorbunny:[Scorbunny's voice is heard over footage of Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa walking across the savanna.] Okay. So, now, we're back at the beginning. Right, Timon?
Lebo M: (in the background) Sithi uhm ingonyama. Ingonyama.
Timon:[from offscreen] Oh, you got that right, pally.
Lebo M: (in the background) Nants ingonyama bagithi baba.
Timon:[from offscreen] At last, things were looking up. I had the sun on my shoulders, the wind at my heels, a song in my heart.
Lebo M: (in the background) Sithi uhm ingonyama. Ingonyama.
Pride Landers:[A massive crowd of Pride Landers races toward Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa.] *bellows*
Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa:[Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa flee offscreen.] *screams*
Timon:[Timon's voice is heard over footage of Pumbaa, with Timon in his mane, following the crowd offscreen.] And to protect me: a pokemon and a great big fat guy!
Pumbaa:[Pumbaa clicks the remote, and the movie pauses. In the theater, Pumbaa regards Timon.] You really think I look fat?
Timon:
Ugh. Pumbaa, Pumbaa, Pumbaa. You're a pig. It's a compliment!
Pumbaa:
Oh-ho-ho. Thank you! [Pumbaa clicks the remote, and the movie resumes.]
Carmen Twillie: [The movie continues, with the sun rising over the savanna.] Ingonyama nengw' enamabala. [Pumbaa, with Timon and Scorbunny in his mane, crests a hill and overlooks Pride Rock.] Ingonyama nengw' enamabala. It's the Circle of Life! And it moves us all!
Timon:[Pumbaa bounds down the hill toward Pride Rock.] Whoo-hoo! There it is. The big pointy rock! Oh, baby, we're almost there.
Carmen Twillie: (in the background) Through despair and hope...
Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa:[Pumbaa skids to a halt.] *gasps*
Pumbaa:[A crowd of Pride Landers is seen gathered below Pride Rock.] I think we're a little late.
Timon:It's a land rush. That loudmouth monkey! He must've blabbed it to the whole world!
Scorbunny:What exactly did he say Timon?
Timon:[Timon assumes a meditative pose and imitates Rafiki.] Look beyond what you see.
Pumbaa:So maybe you're supposed to look beyond the big pointy rock.
Timon:Maybe I'm supposed to look beyond the big pointy rock!
Pumbaa:Hmm?
Timon:Well... Let's have a little look, shall we? [Timon shades his eyes with one hand and peers at the crowd. Rafiki is seen approaching the promontory with Simba in his arms.] Beyond what I see... Beyond what I see... [Timon fixates on a watering hole beyond the crowd.] Beyond what I see... Oh-ho! What do you know? The monkey's got an eagle eye for real estate!
Pumbaa:[indicating Rafiki on Pride Rock] Timon, look!
Timon:He-he-hey! It's the monkey!
Scorbunny: What's that he's holdin' up?
Timon:Awww, who cares? It's not important. [Timon hops to the ground.] Come on! My dream home awaits. [Timon walks toward the crowd, followed by Scorbunny and Pumbaa.]
Pumbaa: [Scorbunny andTimon starts to march into the crowd of animals. Pumbaa hesitates at the edge of the throng.] Uh... I don't do so well in crowds. [Pumbaa backs away.] Maybe we better go around.
Timon:[Timon approaches Pumbaa.] Don't you know the shortest distance between me and my dream home is a straight line? [Timon grabs Pumbaa by the tusk and tows him toward the crowd.] Follow me!
Scorbunny: Wait for me.
Pride Landers:[Several Pride Landers flinch as Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa bull through the crowd.] Oh! Excuse me! Ow! Hello! Goodness!
Timon:Make room! Make room! Watch it, twiggy. I'm walkin' here!
Cape buffalo:*snorts*
Pumbaa:[Pumbaa trails uncertainly behind Scorbunny and Timon. Many animals turn and glare at him. His stomach gurgles, and he pulls up short, then sits, holding his stomach.] Ahem. Timon?[Scorbunny and pauses and looks back at Pumbaa.] There's something I gotta tell ya.
Timon:[Timon strides back toward Pumbaa, shaking his head.] Pumbaa, Pumbaa, Pumbaa. We'll have a plenty of time to [Timon grabs Pumbaa by the tusk and tows him deeper into the crowd.] chat once we settle in.
Pumbaa:[Pumbaa's stomach gurgles again.] I could really use a rest stop.
Timon:[Pumbaa turns back abruptly, but Timon blocks his path, grabs him by the tusk, and tows him deeper into the crowd again.] Don't worry. You'll get your second wind.
Pumbaa:
[Pumbaa's stomach gurgles again. He breaks out in a sweat.] Oh! I got a really bad feeling!
Timon:It'll pass. Trust me! [Pumbaa turns back abruptly.] It'll pass. [Timon grabs Pumbaa by the tail, tugging it. Pumbaa releases a massive fart.]
Scorbunny:Oh no.
Elephant:*trumpets*
Pride Landers:[A gas cloud passes among the Pride Landers, who begin to faint around Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa.] *coughs* [More animals collapse.] *groans*
Zebra:[A zebra looks back at the passed-out animals.] Oh, look. The rhinos are bowing.
Zebra:[The zebras bow.] Ooh, we'd better bow, too.
[The Pride Landers at the front of the crowd bow to Simba. On Pride Rock, Zazu stands next to Mufasa and Rafiki, who is still holding Simba aloft.]
Zazu:Look, sire, [Mufasa glances at Zazu.] how they kneel before the royal son. [Mufasa smiles.]
Pride Landers:[Scorbunny,Timon and Pumbaa stand in an open patch, with animals collapsed around them.] *groans*
Timon:[Timon stares in shock. One of his hairs is on fire. He looks up at it as it burns down, then fizzles out. He looks at Pumbaa in shock, but his expression quickly turns to joy.] So, I guess [Timon puts his hands on his hips.] that's your special power, huh? [Timon punches the air.] What a weapon!
Pumbaa:Uh, you mean, uh, you don't mind?
Timon:*laughs* Are you kidding? It was a gas! [Timon collapses against Pumbaa and bangs on his side.] *laughs*
Pumbaa:Well, I don't like to toot my own horn...
Timon:[Timon straightens.] Yeah, that's probably for the best. Let's go, Guys!
Scorbunny and Pumbaa:[Scorbunny and Pumbaafollows Timon.] Lead the way!
[Timon and Pumbaa march past the collapsed animals, while Rafiki continues to hold Simba atop Pride Rock. The scene transitions to evening. Pumbaa peeks out of a rock shelter in the ground.]
